How to Play as Joker in DnD 5e

I recently bought Persona 5 and just finished the first mind palace and my god is this game a metric fuck ton of awesome, colorful, and stylish. So, while i haven’t finished the game, I’m excited to figure out his DnD build. Normally, because Joker has a canon Persona, I would use Arsene to determine Joker’s magical abilities. But Arsene stops learning new abilities at a pitiful level 7. So, for everything else, we’ll have to look at his confidant abilities and try to make whatever connections that we can.

The Rebellious Spirit Within

Whether you address your dirty crime boy as Ren Amamiya or Akira Kusuru, it’s evident that he’s a human. However, not even other humans can do what Joker can do. So, he could absolutely be considered a Variant Human. As a Variant Human, we’ll pick up Dexterity and Charisma, along with Persuasion proficiency so you can convince your enemies to join your rag-tag group of plucky teen felons. So, what might you consider for his bonus feat as a Variant Human? Top picks would include: Dungeon Delver so you can run through mind palaces, avoid traps, and be a perceptive thief. Skulker so that you can hide in partial darkness and make ranged attacks without giving away your location. Lucky to give yourself some good old fashioned anime protagonist plot armor. Mobile so that you can outrun security and the consequences of your actions. Magic Initiate so that you can be even more of a thief by stealing from other spell lists. Inspiring Leader so that you can yell at your friends to git gud. Prodigy so you can become even more of a specialized skill monkey. And Skilled so that you can horde all the talent for yourself.

You fragrantly break the law and play the role as a Phantom Thief to take down corrupt authority figures. You are the definition of Chaotic Good.

Joker’s role as a thief of corrupt hearts lends itself to a few Background options. Urban Bounty Hunter fulfills the idea of Joker having a target that he hunts down. Criminal is an option if you want to lean into the Thief angle, plus the framing device of the story has Joker telling the story during a police interrogation, so clearly Criminal isn’t that far off the mark. Charlatan is a loose fit as it’s more of a con artist, but the Secret Identity feature works well as Joker is a second identity. The secret identity also appears for the Dimir Operative from the Guilds of Ravnica book, though while it is on DnDBeyond, that doesn’t guarantee that every DM will allow it, especially since this Background has built-in spells. The Urchin Background loosely fits as Joker’s family has given up on him and sent him off to be raised by someone who is an utter stranger, and finding your way around Shibuya and the mind palaces is kind of important. The Faceless background lets you throw your old life away and begin anew as someone else, and the Faction Agent makes you part of a secret society, such as the Phantom Thieves.

Arsene the Fool Arcana

Arsene, like all primary personas, first appears in a flash of blue flames. His only two damaging spells include Eiha which is a little bolt of dark flames that deals Curse damage, and Dream Needle, which deals psychic damage and has a chance of putting enemies to sleep. Arsene is seen with chains but doesn’t use them, and in Smash, having Arsene changes Joker’s up special from a grabbling hook to being launched by Arsene’s wings, which could allow Joker to learn Fly. Beyond that, everything else depends on Confidant abilities and the general magical damage types found in the game.

Personas can deal Fire, Ice, Lightning, Wind, Psychic, Nuclear, Bless, & Curse damage. Nuclear, Bless, and Curse are a little less clear, but I’d translate those to being Poison, Radiant, and Necrotic spells.

Collecting Your Jar of Hearts

BARD Whispers: While Joker is not inherently a creative person, the bard’s ability to steal from other spell lists could be re-skinned as part of Joker’s interchangeable Personas. Whisper Bards also deal damage with psychic blades, which is fitting because all of Joker’s thievery is more metaphorical, and all the fighting happens in the minds and hearts of corrupted people. So, his blades dealing Psychic damage is rather fitting since he’s literally fighting the demons in people’s minds and hearts. Also, the Bard’s Jack of All Trades would do well to make you a Wunderkind that’s kind of great at everything. FIGHTER Battle Master: While the Aid Spell is one of many that can do well for teamwork, there are some Maneuvers that actually focus on rallying allies to attack a single target or get into a formation, which is fitting for Joker as it’s often him who instigates the team’s ability to pull off an all-out attack. RANGER Gloom Stalker: Change a crossbow into Joker’s toy guns that shoot placebo bullets, and take advantage of this subclass' ambush ability and you’re going to do really well copying Joker’s ability to ambush shadows in the game. Ranger also comes with a new feature option called Canny that lets you get another extra proficiency you don’t already have and turn it into an expertise. ROGUE Assassin: Along with Gloom Stalker, these two subclasses combined will make ambushes way more effective when dealing with enemy shadows. Inquisitive: You’re better at figuring out enemy weaknesses and then exploiting them. Provides a nice boost to Sneak Attack damage at higher levels. Mastermind: This lets you Help an ally as a bonus action, and tells you when an enemy is too strong for you to fight. Soul Knife: Technically, you’re more of a thief in a metaphorical sense. You’re attacking people’s minds and hearts, so this subclass who is more focused on attacking people’s minds goes right along with that. Thief: They’re called the Phantom THIEVES. It had to at least be considered. WARLOCK Archfey: Since Demons are a specific kind of Persona, Archfey feels the most all-encompassing for this otherworldly pact. Whether you work it as the pact made with Igor or with Arsene himself, it’s obvious that Warlock had to be part of it, as the Phantom Thieves literally say that they make a pact with their Persona. It’s practically spelled out that Phantom Thieves are warlocks.

Stats and Proficiencies

You wouldn’t be a very good thief without a maxed out Dexterity. You’ll also need Charisma so you can manifest your feelings for magic and a decent Wisdom score so you can multi-class as a Ranger to optimize the use of your gun. Constitution will keep you from dying, Strength should be at least neutral, but if it gets left behind, pick up a proficiency with Athletics and it’ll be fine since you swing with Dexterity anyway. Even though Intelligence is a stat in Persona 5, it won’t really help you much here. So, it’s the dump stat for this build. You’re just a debonair ignorant pretty boy.

ya’ll ever read one of those drug ring ao3 fanfics where y/n is dating the sexy drug cartel leader? well that’s their family!

generational family blood money because that’s how cartels work i think. started running + dealing three generations back with their great-grandparents in order for them to make a living. it wasn’t until the so-called business was handed down to their grandparents that they wanted to expand and generate more money. the big pharma cover was created in order for them to manufacture, distribute, and supply at a larger scale. present day, their family name has notoriety with other cartel and mafia families.

basically avery was supposed to take over because he was the oldest right, but lilia did not want that at all. their parents started favoring avery and schmoozing up to him a little bit to get him to say yes (even though avery was fully prepared to give lilia the position) and lilia was like! what the fuck! so she told their parents about this one time that avery accidentally blabbed the family secret to a stranger at a party which broke their one rule of keeping it a secret. their parents wanted nothing to do with him anymore and completely cut avery off and kicked him out of the family.

everyone knows that avery and lilia are siblings, even though they don’t really know the actual details about their past together because avery doesn’t say anything about his family and the cartel is a secret. now that they are both at yale and in the elites together they are just kinda like haha awkward <3 they basically would just tell everyone that they grew apart if other characters tried to pry but also lilia is now telling people that avery fucked up a business decision which is why he left the family and avery is like alright but good luck trying to get other info out of them! xo, the jeongs

a legacy and a member of the yale's elite, they're twenty-one and a junior undergrad student majoring in pharmacology. they are as zealous as they are vain.

purposely sent an ex boyfriend to prison when she was 18 due to her being tired of being in a consistently toxic relationship. she set him up to be found with various bags of illicit drugs (of which were owned by her family) and framed him with possession with intent to distribute and supply to garner a felony charge as an adult.

ever since avery left the family, her parents have basically put immense pressure on her to fill his spot - the spot she wanted, and since her loyalty is with them and herself, she accepted it and did whatever had to be done. she was 16 when it became her job to take over, so whatever parts of her childhood she had left kind of just left when they began to prime her.

at 18, her mom finally revealed to her that avery had the intentions to give her control of the family when she came of age - something that she didn’t know until 2 years after she fucked up ! her guilt eats her alive to this day, but rather than mending her relationship with him personally, she sends him money anonymously through shorting her parents.

she actually loves being in the elites ... it gives her such a sense of importance whether or not she is considered a legacy. was kind of excited to join actually and frankly that bit her in the ass with the blackmailer out here but its fine.

her college years have frankly been quiet like .. she’s studious to the point she needs to be but she really is not a partier, doesn’t do drugs because she’s seen first hand the shit that her parents are involved in, and barely drinks. when she does she literally doesn’t know how to handle it and fears losing control. literally if you wanna manipulate her this is how u do it lmao.

Doesnt wanna talk about it. Only Reiji knows about his crush and ONLY because Reiji is nosy AF. Thinks he could have a shot but thinks you deserve better. So terrified of rejection no cap. Was gonna take his feelings to the grave, but then you spilled your own feelings out to him one evening over movies and take out and he almost choked on his pasta. You? Like him? Too??? Literally grabs your shoulders "eh??!! You like me??!! I have literally been trying to tell you that for AGES and here you go so easily saying that? Tch… just be mine already, babe." Grumpy emotional. Just lay your head on his chest and watch his blush spread across his cheek plz. It's adorable.

He had everything to offer you and more and yet he could just not bring himself to tell you how he feels. His pride wouldnt let him. Let someone have emotional control over him? No thank you he will just bury his feelings and hope they go away but oh here you two go again to another pastries shop and somehow you got him to laugh and here we go again with these butterflies. Is so annoyed with himself that he almost didnt catch you confess to him but of course he heard the three words that really matter "...I like you.." He's silent after that for a few moments, mainly because his heart is beating so fast and his brain is replaying the words, and he's trying to maintain a cool persona. Finally settles on a small chuckle and a smile "I like you too… fool…" fool? Mentally slaps himself but you seem to be taking it well since you're laughing.

Ai:

Ai has such a hard time understanding what's going on inside him and when he does finally understand, he tries to keep it to himself. But every time he sees you and you interact with him, his heart flutters a bit and he soon realized that he cant keep these feelings in forever. He wanted to take you out to one of your favorite restaurants for lunch and then tell you but halfway through the main course, you just kind of told him yourself and it was said so calmly, like you've said it before and he almost wondered if you two were already together? "You like me, too?" Gets such a cute little smile, "I like you, (Y/N), I have for a while.." :')

HEAVENS

Eiichi:

Lolololololol has so much confidence. Of course you'd like him back, hahaha….unless??? Cant manage to tell you in fear of his pride being hurt, but he makes sure to try and show you in small ways? Like buying you lunch, getting you VIP tickets to the concerts, spending time with you, etc… And then one day he's doing exactly that, buying you lunch, because he's memorized your favorite everything, but you tagged along because you wanted to be around him and you just were telling him how appreciative you were of him and everything he does and next thing he knows you're confessing to him and he almost drops the take out box. Shook 103. Almost doesnt know how to answer but his smugness comes back sooner or later "my my my angel… I guess I have to confess that I like you too." Plays it off cool but inside his heart grew by like 65 sizes.

Kira:

He's so quiet and honestly love was the last thing on his mind and then you came along and messed it all up. Suddenly he was talking and all of HEAVENS was shook and realized way sooner than Kira ever could. At some point the feelings started overflowing and he cant deny them anymore and you just happen to sit so close and then you take his hand oh? Those were the words he was dying to hear. "... I like you too…" theres a small blush on his face and you find it so cute.

Nagi:

Haha feelings are stupid. Denies it. No one is gonna get him to confess. Nada. Niente. But the more he hangs out with you the harder it is to deny. He even tried insulting you and you know what didnt work? That! That didn't work! So one day he just stomps up to you and goes , "Listen here,you little---" "i like you, nagi-san!!" Did you just interrupt him? No, wait did you just confess to him???!!" Taken aback. Nagi doesnt work for a second. "Y-you.. Do? Well good thing you feel the same because I was just about to tell you that." Plays it off cool, died on the inside.

Eiji:

Precious little thing doesnt know what to do with himself and these feelings. Is so nervous around you but tries to not overstep any lines. LOVES to hang out with you and play stupid board games with you, so one night when youre over and you guys are playing UNO, he is almost ready to tell you, but then you said it and his soul left his body for a minute. So overcome with happiness he almost cries, "oh (Y/N)... I like you too… I'm so happy you feel the same!"

Van:

Cute. Of course he was gonna fall for someone eventually but this was just SO unexpected. You came into his life and rocked his world in such an unexpected way… suddenly flirting with you doesnt become easy and he is trying so hard to not mess up and ugh here he is trying to explain his feelings to you and wait did you just kiss him and then tell him you feel so deeply for him? Aidjsjqjjasjqoqooosn. SO taken aback. Actually blushes a little? Is this real? Immediately pulls you in and tells you the same, "oh angel! I feel the same way and… can I get another try at that kiss?"

Denies his feelings by taking laps and going rock climbing, basically anything to get his mind off of you and focused on something else. Cant tell you, too scared of rejection. So when you asked to join him on one of his runs he almost freaks out because now he HAS to talk to you or it'll be awkward. Halfway through the run you take a water break and you knew that now was the time. "Yamato, I have a crush on you." He was ready for the next 2 and a half kilometers when his knees almost gave out at hearing you say that. Swears on God his heart stopped beating for a second, "good, because otherwise this would be really awkward" and kisses you? He has no clue how he got that confidence and his face is turning all shades of red right after but at least now you know, right?

His whole life he tried to prove to everyone that he was worth it. And then you came along and you saw that he was worth it and you never expected anything of him, and it is such a nice feeling to just be accepted by someone… he couldnt help but fall for you. Shion wanted to be yours so badly, wanted for you to be his so badly, so when those words left your perfect lips, so many stones fell off his shoulders. He visibly relaxed beside you and gently took your hand in his, "i like you too… Thank you, (Y/N)..."

5e Pyke the Bloodharbor Ripper build (League of Legends)

You look familiar... You. You were on my blog, looking at my builds.

Well here’s yet another League build, and yet another edgelord champion. I don’t know if it’s a problem with me or a problem with League but I seem to be drawn to characters with edgy personas... at least lore-wise. In game I spam Sona and Yuumi like an eGirl thot.

And Kayn. And Warwick. Alright I might just be an edgelord.

Regardless Pyke is always a character I’ve enjoyed more for his lore than his actual gameplay. Back in my DOTA days I used to main Bounty Hunter (and I might branch out to DOTA builds someday; who knows?) and while Pyke captures that gameplay to some extent he’s never really been my cup of tea. Gondar was considerably more light-hearted than Pyke and focused a lot more on information gathering than the raw killing that Pyke does. Even so I think Pyke was a great addition to the lore of Bilgewater with the rest of the region seemingly existing only as an excuse to put pirates into League of Legends. (Ironically enough I actually think the other character that displays Bilgewater’s lore the best is Tahm Kench, and considering that most people see him as a meme that’s really saying something.)

But regardless: you’re here for the build, not to read me ramble about why I made it. I can definitely say that if you genuinely want to play Pyke you’re certainly one for the roleplay, though try not to be overly edgy.

GOALS

Harpooner - Armed with an iconic Bone Skewer it’ll find its way stabbed into the stomachs or thrown into the backs of many victims.

Until it all sinks... - Pyke swims in the shadows before surfacing to pounce his prey. He did also swim in the water once.

Did I “support” right? - While we won’t have any healing Pyke has plenty of utility in his own right.

RACE

Officially Pyke is some sort of drowned revenant, and while I know there is a Revenant race in the Gothic Heroes UA it’s rather unbalanced and unfortunately doesn’t really work for what we’re trying to do here. The Gothic Heroes Revenant has a goal, but Pyke’s mind is warped so he thinks his goal is never done. While the health regen is in character for Pyke’s Gift of the Drowned Ones the other features don’t really help us or retain the aquatic theme of Pyke.

With that in mind I had a few ideas: Water Genasi was my first idea to have a character infused with the strength of the sea but unfortunately it’s focused far too much on magic as well as Constitution, both of which Pyke doesn’t have. My next thought was for a Kalashtar to have the spirit of the drowned one infused into you, but they’re tied deeply into their dream lore and less-so into the two-minds aspect.

But then I realized there’s a race that gets infused with parts from the ocean, and even starts out human just like Pyke! This is going to sound mad but you’re going to want a Simic Hybrid from Guildmaster’s Guide to Ravnica. While in-lore they receive their gifts from the deep from science we can reflavor it as gifts from the ocean itself. Anyways Simic Hybrids see their Constitution increase by 2 and a stat of their choice increase by 1: choose Dexterity for a better chance fighting the beasts below before your line is cut. You also get Darkvision up to 60 feet and Animal Enhancements. Since Animal Enhancement is tied to level I’ll be addressing it in the build instead of in the race section because this is getting long enough as is. And for your language of choice I’d opt for Elvish, mainly because it’s unlikely you’ll meet any Vedalken this side of the sea.

ABILITY SCORES

15; DEXTERITY - Fighting the monsters of Bilgewater in their own territory takes a great degree of nimbleness to avoid getting your line cut.

14; CHARISMA - All sea captains fear the Bloodharbor Ripper, and Charisma is a requirement to multiclass.

13; INTELLIGENCE - You need to be smart to hunt any prey, be it a monstrous fish or... more dangerous game...

12; CONSTITUTION - While not in-character for Pyke to be tanky we sadly can’t convert our health into damage in this build.

10; WISDOM - Even if you have to do it to survive jumping into monster-infested waters is not the best lifestyle choice.

8; STRENGTH - While perhaps in-character to drop Wisdom instead we simply don’t need Strength in this build.

BACKGROUND

There are several backgrounds for a man lost at sea but Pirate is the best for one who came back with a vengeance. You get the Athletics and Perception skills to scout out your prey and wrestle with it in deep tide, as well as proficiency with Water Vehicles and Navigator’s Tools to command your own ship someday. But the main feature we’re here for is Bad Reputation so everyone knows that you’re the Bloodharbor Ripper. If you’re in a civilized settlement people will be afraid of being put on your list, and will let you get away with minor crimes. Murder isn’t a minor crime though, so pull someone into an alley if they do end up showing up on your list.

THE BUILD

LEVEL 1 - ROGUE 1

Starting off as a Rogue for the extra proficiencies: take Intimidation, Stealth, Investigation, and Acrobatics as your skills of choice. You also get Expertise in two of those skills and you’re going to want Investigation to find your quarry and Stealth to sneak up on them.

But of course the main reason for the expertise in Stealth is so we can Sneak Attack. Once per turn you can do an extra d6 damage with an attack if an enemy is within 5 feet of your ADC or if you have Advantage on the attack by jumping out of water. You must be using a finesse weapon such as your Bone Skewer, which for now would likely just be a Short Sword since you haven’t received your gifts from the deep yet.

But your time in Bilgewater did allow you to learn Thieves’ Cant, a mix of words and phrases that are actually a code among criminals. They may be speaking about the latest big catch but you know what they’re really talking about is cutting your line.

But while you were under the undertow you did receive some Animal Enhancement. As a Simic Hybrid you can choose between three Enhancement options at level 1: Manta Glide lets you fall slowly and glide as you do so, Nimble Climber gives you a climbing speed equal to your walking speed, but Underwater Adaptation is the obvious choice for the drowned man. You gain a swimming speed equal to your walking speed and can breath underwater. You drowned once but it won’t happen again.

NOTE: If you’re playing outside of an aquatic campaign Nimble Climber would be your next best bet to remaining in character. You can also opt to just play a Variant Human instead of a Simic Hybrid if you don’t mind the lack of swimming speed however, since Simic Hybrid was mainly picked for the aquatic implications.

LEVEL 2 - ROGUE 2

Second level Rogues get Cunning Action, allowing you to use your quick wit to Dash, Disengage, or Hide as a bonus action. A Bilgewater Harpooner needs to be quick on their feat and always trust their crew. But when that trust is lost...

LEVEL 3 - WARLOCK 1

As you’re lost to The Drowned Ones you receive their blessing to become a Warlock. The Drowned Ones could be seen as The Undying in many senses, as they keep you from death to serve them.

WHY NOT LURKER IN THE DEEP? - Lurker in the deep focuses a lot more on using the strength of those below more directly. Pike meanwhile merely serves them as an assassin. Not only that but Lurker in the Deep has far more of a focus on tentacles than knives, which is more of Illaoi’s thing.

Undying Warlocks are considered Among the Dead. They get the Spare the Dying cantrip and have Advantage against diseases, and undead enemies may not attack you as they see you as one of their own. If an undead attacks you they have to make a Wisdom save against your Warlock spell DC or choose a new target, losing the attack if there is no one else to hit. If you succeed on the save or you hit them they’re immune to this effect for 24 hours, so perhaps don’t pick fights with Sion.

But along with Spare the Dying you also get access to more Spellcasting. You learn 2 cantrips from the Warlock spell list: Lighting Lure will let you throw your Bone Skewer out at an enemy within 15 feet. They must make a Strength saving throw or be pulled 10 feet towards you, taking a d8 of Lightning damage if they’re pulled into melee range. Eldritch Blast lets you throw your Bone Skewer further down range - make a ranged spell attack against a target you can see and on a hit they take a d10 force damage.

You also learn 2 first level spells from the Warlock list: False Life comes from The Undying patron list and lets you “regenerate” some health in the darkness. You gain a d4 + 4 temporary hitpoints when you cast this spell. That temp HP lasts for an hour or until it’s cut off of you.

Illusory Script meanwhile is the perfect spell to write your list. You can cast this spell while writing with lead-based ink worth at least 10 gold to imbue the words with powerful illusion magic for 10 days. Creatures you designate can read the message normally but any other creature won’t be able to read it, or will see a completely different message as long as it’s written in a language you know. If the spell is dispelled the message is dispelled, so no one will know that your list is truly unending... unless they have truesight, as they’ll be able to read it under the light of a pink ward.

LEVEL 4 - WARLOCK 2

2nd level Warlocks get Eldritch Invocations and the only one we really need is Grasp of Hadar. Every time you hit an enemy with your Eldritch Blast you can pull them 10 feet closer, so you can drag ‘em under and get your hands dirty. You other choice of invocation really doesn’t matter: Armor of Shadows can be a good boost to your AC but I personally like Mask of Many Faces to hide behind your facemask before finding your prey.

You also get another spell and Hex will let you mark your prey as a gift to the Drowned Ones. Whenever you hit a target that’s Hexed you do an extra d6 Necrotic damage, and the target has disadvantage on a type of ability check of your choosing. I’d personally choose Strength so that they can’t swim up when you pull them down to drown.

LEVEL 5 - ROGUE 3

3rd level Rogues get access to their Roguish Archetype and the Soul Knife subclass from the Psionics UA will make sure you always have a Bone Skewer. The Soul Knife gets a Psionic Enhancement: you can either have a 30 foot Telepathy, some extra health and Toughness equal to your Intelligence modifier plus your Rogue level, or 5 feet of extra Walking Speed. These all have their uses but while it’s perhaps not in-flavor Toughness is probably your most consistently useful enhancement.

WHY NOT REVIVED? - Revived focuses far more on the manipulation of death, and has a heavier skill focus than the Soul Knife. But put in simple terms Soul Knife has nearly all the abilities I’d want from Pyke without having to multiclass too much. Undying Warlock is already more than enough undeath for Pyke, and it also helps give him some Deep One patrons.

I should also mention I made this build before the latest Psionics Options Revisited UA. This build uses old features so discuss with your DM if you want to use the newer version.

But of course the main reason to go for the Soul Knife is your Psychic Blade. You can create a bone skewer in your hand, or two bone skewers if you’re feeling particularly vicious. You can’t hold anything in the hand you hold the blade but you can choose to dispel them without using an action.

The blade has the finesse and light properties so you can dual wield them and use your Dexterity as your attack modifier. It deals 1d6 psychic damage on a hit and you can throw it 30 feet normally or 60 feet with disadvantage. Regardless of if you throw your knife or stab with it you can proc your Sneak Attack, which now deals 2d6 damage. If you throw the blade as part of an attack it vanishes immediately after it hits or misses, and the blade(s) disappear the instant it leaves your hand or if you’re incapacitated.

You also get another Animal Enhancement as a Simic Hybrid so you may as well get more AC from the Carapace enhancement, which increases your AC by 1 as long as you’re not wearing Heavy Armor. The only other enhancement I’d maybe suggest is Nimble Climber, which you could’ve taken at level 1. But simply put more AC is more useful, and was limited to us for a reason. You can consider the extra AC as the salt soaked into your skin, and your lust for vengeance allowing you to shrug off attacks.

LEVEL 6 - ROGUE 4

4th level Rogues get an Ability Score Improvement: increase your Dexterity for deadlier strikes with your Bone Skewer.

LEVEL 7 - ROGUE 5

At 5th level Rogues get Uncanny Dodge, letting them reduce the damage of an attack by half as a reaction. Is a female bounty hunter shooting you? Dive in the ghostly waters and set yourself up for the kill, especially since your Sneak Attack is also increased to 3d6 at this level.

LEVEL 8 - ROGUE 6

6th level Rogues get Expertise in two more skills: I’d choose Intimidation and Athletics. A frightened target won’t be able to lie to you, and Athletics Expertise will compensate for your low Strength score.

LEVEL 9 - ROGUE 7

7th level Rogues get Evasion: if you’re targeted with a Dexterity-based skill shot you can dash out of the way and take no damage on a successful saving throw, or only half damage if you fail. Pyke is far more evasive than the average support, and can get up and personal to do 4d6 with Sneak Attack.

LEVEL 10 - ROGUE 8

8th level Rogues get another Ability Score Improvement and we’ll max out our Dexterity for even deadlier strikes with your Bone Skewer.

LEVEL 11 - ROGUE 9

At 9th level you get the Terrifying Blade Soul Knife feature. When you damage a creature with your Psychic Blade you can force them to make a Wisdom saving throw based on your Intelligence modifier. If they fail the creature is frightened of you until the start of your next turn, but on a successful save they become immune to this feature for 24 hours. Traitors run from their past, or face them head on. Regardless you’ll kill them all, especially with a 5d6 Sneak Attack.

LEVEL 12 - ROGUE 10

10th level Rogues get another Ability Score Improvement, and you may have noticed our uneven Intelligence score? The Observant Feat will let us see when traitors talk about their coin. You can increase one of your mental stats by 1 (we’ll improve Intelligence) and you can read a creature’s lips to understand what they’re saying as long as you share a language. Your passive Perception and Investigation also increase by 5, so you can be aware of any backstabbers trying to slip away.

LEVEL 13 - ROGUE 11

11th level Rogues get Reliable Talent, meaning that any roll below a 10 in a skill you’re proficient in is treated as a 10. This means that your lowest possible roll with the skills your proficient in is:

25 on Stealth

22 on Intimidation or Investigation

20 on Acrobatics

19 on Athletics

15 on Perception

Your Sneak Attack also increases to 6d6.

LEVEL 14 - ROGUE 12

12th level Rogues get another Ability Score Improvement and we’ll want more Intelligence to know how to truly terrify our foes.

LEVEL 15 - ROGUE 13

13th level Soul Knife Rogues can dive into spectral waters with Psychic Veil. As an action you become invisible for 10 minutes. This invisibility ends if you make an attack or if you force a creature to make a saving throw. You can become invisible a number of times equal to your Intelligence modifier and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest. Your Sneak Attack also increases to 7d6 now, and just so you know attacking out of Invisibility counts as a Sneak Attack.

LEVEL 16 - ROGUE 14

14th level Rogues borrow some techniques from the monk in the jungle and get a 10 foot radius Blindsense to chase your prey.

LEVEL 17 - ROGUE 15

15th level Rogues get Slippery Mind for proficiency in Wisdom saving throws. It’s not much but considering that you have a +0 to Wisdom it certainly helps. Your Sneak Attack also increases to 8d6 now.

LEVEL 18 - ROGUE 16

16th level Rogues get another Ability Score Improvement and more Intelligence will lead to more Ghostwater Dives and better Terrifying Blades.

LEVEL 19 - ROGUE 17

17th level Soul Knife Rogues can Rend Mind for a powerful Phantom Undertow. If you have a Psychic Blade manifested you can force a creature you can see within 30 feet of you to make an Intelligence saving throw. The target takes 12d6 psychic damage and is stunned until the start of your next turn on a failed save, but only takes half as much on a successful save and isn’t stunned. If you are hidden from the target it has disadvantage on the save, and one of your Psychic Blades vanishes after using this feature.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Intelligence modifier and regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest. Pro tip: attacks against Stunned enemies automatically have Advantage so you can use your 9d6 Sneak Attack damage.

LEVEL 20 - ROGUE 18

Our final level is the 18th level in Rogue for Elusive so that no attack can have Advantage against you. "Death keeps spitting me right back out."

FINAL BUILD

PROS

I smell panic - Soul Knife on its own is a very powerful subclass. Having an unlimited supply of weapons that are viable at both melee and range, the ability to turn invisible, and tons of crowd control with both fears and stuns makes for an incredible damage dealer who can provide a lot of utility to the party.

Big Beast - It wasn’t my intention when making this build but for a Rogue you’re remarkably tanky. You have an above-average constitution and Psionic Enhancement buffing your health to a respectable level, and the Carapace Animal Enhancement turns what would be a +5 to AC (from your Dexterity) to a +6. This means that you have 17 AC with Leather Armor, 18 with Studded, and a 19 AC with Armor of Shadows! As a Rogue, meaning you have Uncanny Dodge and Evasion to further increase your survivability! Not to mention you have two Warlock slots to cast False Life is the fight starts to go south.

Crews share the wealth - Expertise in Intimidation and Investigation are helpful, and having Spare the Dying means that your Cleric can focus on stronger cantrips instead. But having 10 minutes of invisibility is insanely helpful for infiltration.

CONS

Every kill makes the voices louder - The two levels in Warlock are done almost entirely for flavor, and while we do get some useful features it does still mean you lose out on Stroke of Luck. If you have a DM who likes roleplay you can take the Magic Initiate feat for Wizards to get Lightning Lure along with potentially Ray of Frost to simulate a long-ranged “pull” and be a Warlock without actually being a Warlock. But the honest truth is that Soul Knife on its own is strong enough and the ability to pull people closer to you is largely redundant.

My list just got longer - Soul Knife uses their Bonus Action a lot more than other Rogues, meaning that you can’t use your Cunning Action to hide as often. Yes you can make two knives at a time but this still means that you’ll have to spend another bonus action to “reload” after throwing two hooks. And if both your hands are full you can’t hold your list!

Swim or Sink - Unfortunately you don’t get to max out your Intelligence modifier, which is needed for a lot of your class features. However the far bigger issue is your saving throws: proficiency in Wisdom saves help but your Charisma and Constitution are stuck at +2 and your Strength is forever at a pitiful -1. While you can compensate for strength checks with Expertise in Athletics your saving throws are less than desirable.

But problems only come for those without a plan. Make your list, check it twice, find out who’s naughty or nice before gutting them. Make sure your crew’s got your back and that they aren’t going to cut your line too. You’ve died before, but it doesn’t hurt not to do it again.

BACKSTORY

haneul madison ko was born september 18, 1999 to two immigrant parents from S.K. her birth name is haneul, but she went by the name madison since it was easier to pronounce + madi began to almost detest her culture??

it was just that growing up she would sometimes get bullied for looking different at her school, for the way her packed lunches smelled/looked, the way people would stare if she spoke korean to her parents, how other kids would make fun of her english since she didn’t pick up on vocab/grammar as quickly since she didn’t practice at home with her parents. she just became SO insecure about it that she rejected her culture. she wouldn’t bring her mom’s food to school, if her mom ever forced her to take it she’d throw it away and choose to starve instead. she wouldn’t speak korean back to her parents in public, barely even in private (which reeaaallly upset her parents). this also REALLY destroyed her korean language skills. she can understand still, but she can barely hold a basic conversation anymore.

as she grew up, and continued this sense of distancing herself from her culture, she ultimately distanced herself from her family. which left her feeling - - alone often, even though it was all due to her own choices. in this loneliness, she found her escape in music. she would wear headphones constantly through the halls, in car rides, in her room when her parents yelled at her to turn the music down. she just loved music. she saved up the money her parents gave her whenever she worked at the nail salon (her parents owned it!!) to thrift an old keyboard. she became self-taught by trying to copy melodies of songs she’d listen to, thrifting piano lesson books, staying after school with the music teacher learning to play. sometimes she’d even skip lunch to sit in the chorus room with her choir director and play.

it’s not that she had a LACK of friends growing up, maybe just that she lacked a best friend. she had a lot of friends, but no one that she felt so connected to in the way she felt connected to music. perhaps, she was addicted to her loneliness.

she spent a lot of time playing the piano and dabbling in writing music that her grades started to fall (not that she was ever the BEST student) and her parents literally took away her piano. they said it was a waste of time because they wanted her to focus on doing well, so she could get into a good university, and then live a good life. music was just a distraction

but that didnt work

she would sneak out into the city to go to concerts and poetry readings. she’d sneak out and go to indie songwriters scenes while her parents thought she was at the library with one of her school friends

This underground scene had her full heart!! she was surrounded by likeminded people who just lived for music. she was hearing all of these incredible people who were all looking for their start. maybe not looking for anything at than just to sing their songs. tbh i think this was the point she was happiest. she was completely enveloped in music, just for the sake of music. There wasn’t any pressure, just music. Just the songs. she was wide eyed looking at this whole underground scene of artists. So maybe some plots from these underground charas?!

she’d perform some songs at karaoke nights and the indie sessions, and a producer took a keen interest in one of her songs. basically im kind of stealing halsey’s career start, but she posted a song Came in Close on SoundCloud and just blew up overnight. in the morning, she woke up to a record label asking her to fly to LA for a meeting.

and thus, Madison Ko began a career as Madi Ko where she’d release her debut album, Honey, a few months later. (DISCOGRAPHY HERE). her music is very 80s synth inspired!

PERSONALITY

right off the bat, madi is an absolute firecracker!! she’s loud, bursting with personality, has a lack of inhibitions that CHAOTICALLY mixes with her spontaneity

part of this is projecting her insecurities. she felt lonely as a child but doesn’t want to be seen as that to the world. it’s not so much a persona but an exaggeration of who she was.

she likes to show off her glam bc it, once again, hides her insecurities.

she just kind of is dramatic anymore

like everything about her

her persona as Madi Ko, upcoming popstar underdog, is like DUNKED in glitter, over the top stages and sets, draped in couture. basically her stages/outfits/dances/mvs are like Chungha’s but with Pale Waves and Carly Rae Jepsen VC. ex: 1, 2, 3, 4

also bc im obsessed with chungha’s famous diamond wink, IT’S GONNA BE MADI’S THING TOO. so basically madi has trended on twt a few times bc of her signature diamond wink bc she effing glues rhinestones and glitter under her eyes for performances !! she said fuck corneas !! ex: 1, 2, 3 ....god chungha is magical

so while madi is like a brand hypebeast n never shuts up, she can also get,,, easily annoyed. and heavily perceives ppl on first impressions despite that being the reason she felt misunderstood a lot growing up.

(Dabi anon again (hellos)) I feel that at first Izu would be critical if we consider Bk, AM, and all the heros during the sludge villian event but eventually he'll mellow out bcuz of his own quirklessness which'll let him see that you cant just yeet logic out the window tho he'd still be pissed cuz of how some heros dont even try. That or it'll go the other direction and he'd be critical af cuz they have quirks and he doesn't yet he's the only one that did anything (1/3)

most likely itd be combination of these? And it'll swing depending on the hero and bais. Yes he'd definitely have standards tho for those who dont hold up I feel like thatd depends, the circumstances would be taken into consideration since Izu isn't as single minded as Stain (cuz of personal experiences, he's still pretty head set it just depends). Yee smol bean, he'd end up focusing on being fast and stealth but if he ended up joining the lead he'd probably bulk up a lil bit more. (2/3)

Parallel wise, yeah Dabs would most likely be a Todoroki (+ its fannon soo,, self-indulgent, this au is self-indulgent and you have made me want to make it into a whole au thx for that). If Izu joined Lov then definitely, no way avoiding it. If he didnt join the chances of them runnin into eachother depend- Izu could attempt to track Dabi down cuz he was diggin up info, cuz of Giran making him curious, bcuz of their similar beliefs, or they could never meet for more than a simple passing. I agree that it would be a little bit of both. Like maybe at first, he would be really upset at the fact none of the heroes stepped in to fight the sludge villain and he got reprimanded for it. BUT after thinking it over he would understand like okay fine, maybe it wasn’t that smart to go butt first into the fight. But he was just trying to help. Give the kid some credit. So I honestly would NOT blame him one bit for feeling both ways.

I like that he gets to keep his logical, analytical brain because Stain meant...well, but he went about it in the worst possible way (killing heroes) to prove his point. Izuku would at least evaluate an individual hero and then see if they are truly being heroic or if they are just in it for a false persona. I love smol bean Izuku *cries*. But Izuku bulking up to join the League would also make sense so that way he can like keep up with fights and stuff. I would imagine he’d dress the way he normally does, which looks kinda baggy and even hides his build, which would probably be really smart of him so that way people don’t assume his dangerous (and it also helps that he has a baby face so he doesn’t look intimidating...until he starts fighting and that’s when heroes are like Oh I’ve committed a Mistake).

Ah! So the circumstances would depend on them meeting then. I like the idea of them meeting! I’ve seen comics of their dynamic (I forget the artist’s name rip), and it’s an interesting relationship, bros with Toga and Shiggy. But I would imagine in this situation, it wouldn’t be so so uhh tight knit, but rather the way it is now with the League, where they become family as time passes on and they stick together. Maybe Izuku could go with Dabi to search for potential members? But it’s also interesting to think about Izuku searching for him because Giran sparked his interest. And even more interesting is if they don’t meet and they pass by each other, but then Izuku hears about this blue fire quirk user on the news and he’s like HMMMMM cool. It depends on how you treat fate for them. (And!!! It makes me happy to know you are getting inspiration to make this into an au!!!! That’s great!!!! but yea. i try not to think about it. again, what can u do but move on?

5) in terms of personal life - i know ive had like 3 major breakdowns (and some small ones in-between) over the past year. i fell out with a friend bc of my own insecurities, ive done my fair share of inexcusably shitty things, and im sorry. im working with my current counsellor to better myself. maybe im handling things a bit better than i did before, maybe im not. its a work in progress.

as for new year resolutions... i usually dont have any sdshdsjds i just hope next year will be kind. please @ god no more shitty grp projects my heart cant take it anymore

Mega-Solas?

So I finally got around to watching Megamind (I know I'm super late) and I can't help but draw some massive comparisons between him and Solas. While much of Solas's backstory is conjecture, I believe they both started out in much of the same way.

1. Backstory. While much of Solas's origins are still unclear (was he a spirit, was there a time when he truly got along with all of the evanuris, was he like them before his realization, ect), it is clear Solas was always a bit of a social pariah. Megamind and Solas tried their best to fit in and kept failing. Much of what made them so different was their brilliance and they lacked a way to effectively express it without judgement or it being used against them.

2. Dread Wolf/Megamind. Both of them created an alter ego, more to cause a degree of fear than to actually take over or rule the world. They embraced a villainous side of themselves despite an utter lack of actual villainy. They dont want to harm people, it's simply a roll they play.

3. Character Arc. Though Solas's rebellion is more complicated, it is unclear whether the rebellion was before or after Mythals death, giving credit to the possibility that her death (much like Metroman's own demise) is the beginning of a huge character arc in the removal of ones frienemy (note: I make the argument that while Solas respects Mythal and certainly has a mostly good relationship with her, there is almost a level of fear he has in dealing with her as if he suspects she may betray him/others). Megamind struggled to accept that while he actively worked against Metroman, privately he admired him.

4. The Disguise. At some point they both adopt this persona in order to get something that they want. Ironically their disguise while founded on a lie is more akin to their real identity than their name. It is under this persona that they are able to express their brilliance without hesitation and to temporarily drop their guard. They both prefer who they are as the disguise because of the amount of freedom they have in it. Yet both readopt their alter ego because of a sense of duty and guilt.

5. The Game. Solas gets a kick out of outsmarting people, he enjoys the Game because it's a battle of wits and is something hes good at it. The same goes for Megamind, he enjoyed the comradery and showmanship that came with having an opponent and is why he was so lost when suddenly he didnt have that anymore.

6. The Plan. In some sense Solas is like Megamind in that he didn't really have a end plan when he finally "won." While Solas was in uthenera for millennia, he talks as if his plan was more or less to give his people a chance to build a new world without the evanuris (himself included) than it was a vision he had in store for them.

7. The love interest. When presented with the opportunity to pursue a romantic entanglement they both go into it willingly albeit shamefully because of the nature of their deception. They hide part of their identity partially out of necessity and partially out of a fear of rejection. They both try to come clean and find they can't. They believe their love interest only cares for the lie rather than the men behind the masks.

8. Plans gone aray. Lets be honest...both of them are legendary fuck ups. While their intelligence cant be questioned they both have a talent for coming up with a plan and it spiralling wildly out of control. They both essentially create a real villain in their pursuit of redemption. While trying to give the world the hero it needs, they ultimately "prove" to everyone else that they themselves are villainous.

Essentially I watched this movie and cried because it brought up so much of what I love and see in Solas. That is the story I want for him. To have struggled and fought for so long and to in the end get the recognition he deserves... as well as finally getting the girl.

2. the dream freaked me out. have only experienced one (1) so far, but its depressing that harry sees a hanged man and sees himself in it. this happens again when theyre inspecting the body too. such effective storytelling!

5. i find the de world intriguing, though i cant say that im keeping up well. coupled that with my unfamiliarity with western cultures in general 🥴

6. im really intrigued by the bullet in the corpse’s head. if the hardie boys put that there, they wouldnt feel the need to lie that the merc was hanged to death wouldnt they? then why did they lie that theyre the ones who did it? did they take that as a chance to send a message to wild pines that no matter how many mercs they send, the union is gonna come out winning? that they wouldnt have any qualms murdering even cops? or were they just trying to cover for someone? is it the eighth hardie? who was the real killer? is it joyce? is it that other mercs?

7. i love that every checks is a chance, and the chance increases as harry’s stats increase. it feels like harry is struggling to function as well has he did before, but sometimes he succeeds and sometimes he doesnt. as the player increases harry’s stats, it feels less like he’s growing as a human (like a persona protagonist), and more like he’s getting back his abilities after an episode of amnesia. even if harry fails the check, his observation and intuition still hints at what harry has missed, implying that if it was the former harry, he wouldnt miss it. gameplay so in line with lore!

8. kim’s trust in harry is inexplicable? like this man is an angel. he has so much trust in harry’s investigation skills despite having never met him b4, and his first impression of harry is of a smelly stinky drunkard. he has so much reasons to doubt and dismiss harry’s actions/decisions/deductions/hunches as a drunk’s babblings, but he doesnt. even when harry dismisses his own hunch (like when harry correctly feels that there is sth else they havent realized regarding the body) kim still trusts the hunch and tell harry that they should fridge the body. like even if no one else in the world believed in harry anymore kim still would. thats love, baby

Growing an attachment to something especially when its being another human can be an exhilaration feeling yet a flesh eating one as well. The emotions that come from it leave you a dying hunger for more while it sucks you dry due to what its causing. In this case everything was connecting me to Jungkook.

Messing around with Jungkook had its perks and i certainly wasn't aiming for this altercation to happen again but due to his charming ways he sucked me in like a cold leach. I had to admire his way of doing so, it was truly hypnotizing how he did it so effortlessly. I had told myself numerous of times that i wouldn't fall for his bullshit yet here laid following after his every need.

I had been attending his football games more, leading to the head board hitting the wall as he gathered every thrust. I had grown an attachment to him and in a way he seemingly did to. He was often around me more than others. He showed a certain amount of care that I had never expected from him. It was reassuring at most but still had the nagging presence of him longing for another body besides mine. Just the simple thought of me thinking this made my stomach churn. I dont know why i felt such way as i promised myself I wouldn't let it escalate this far but I couldn't stay away from his trance, which irritated me to the point of insanity. I had tried to quit more than once as he always came to me with that bunny filled grin and his strong arms as he held me tight chasing away all the thoughts i once had.

The situation didnt help as he had his arms wrapped around me bringing me in close to his chest. My nostrils were filled with the savory aroma of his body only fueling my mind with actives we did last night. That was the only deeds that i would let flow my head. I would stray away from the romance and stay strict to sexual favors as i would only get attached further more. I was already trapped but i didnt want it to seem even more evident then it currently was.

I slightly moved opening an eye attempting to see where my phone had been held. It laid on the dresser as i attempted to move my hand only for Junkook to groan and gulf my whole body into his chest. It was funny how when he was asleep he became so clingy yet when we were outside of the bedroom he had proceeded his tough guy persona. He was at times but not entirely. The more we grew closer the more i felt like we grew in a some what twisted relationship. I couldn't believe i even let those thoughts usher through me but it was surely true.

I had given up on my strength relying on my words as i tried to wake him up.

"Hey, we have to get up. I have practice in a few minutes."

Jungkook held me tighter motioning off my statement groaning.

"I rather be in between your legs than go to practice."

I rolled my eyes but smirking at his sexual behavior. He sure was a teenage adolescent whos dick was uncontrolled. he did this often as he would get any chance to roam his hands upon my body. I surely wasn't complaining but it was not the time to do so as i was already being threatened to be kicked off the team.

"Come on, you have to practice too and i actually attend your football games so you better not suck."

Jungkook frowned as mentioned him not coming to my games. I hadn't known why as it didn't effect me nor him. That was the one big problem I had about the situation was that in some way he would always show a sign of unwanted affection. I knew it was some kind of trap to pull me in further so tend to stay away from it and try not expect to much from him. I tried to maintain myself that way at least. I mentally trained myself to fly past all of his cocky bullshit until it all could come crashing down.

At times you often give into the forbidden fruit but it sure wasn't worth it however i sometimes couldn't help the flavor that i gained from it.

"I know i told you i was sorry thousands of time."

"Its fine, it doesnt affect me in a positive or negative way. As long as i get shit done ill keep moving."

"ugh i hate when you're like this. Why cant we just stay in bed and fuck, that seems much more appealing."

The idea was certainly appealing but i wasn't willing to risk my soccer studies for him. I hadn't even been very well interested in soccer but it kept my minds off of things and now and days my mind wandered every place.

I often thought about Jungkook which irritated me and how much i actual put time aside for him as i tried to find myself a better hobby. Being Jungkooks fuck buddy certainly did have its perks and i loved being associated with him in private places but i didn't know if he had others that he shared this place with. I was bound to find out sooner or later.

I twisted myself from Jungkooks grasp making him groan and watch as i gather my things. I had only been sporting my undergarments as i searched for the rest of my belongings. I had a hard time looking for my shirt as we flew things left and right not caring where they would land. i groaned in desperation trying to find the rest of my belongings and Jungkook wasn't helping as he got behind me while i was bent down.

"Baby you know i cant keep my hands off of you when your positioned like this."

I rolled my eyes but still remained as smile at his flirtatious remark. I pushed him away trying to find the items before he pulled me into his chest. He surely was difficult to escape from making it another reason i was so drawn in for i couldn't find a way out. I would complain at times but i always secretly loved it. A very valid reason why i should stay away but as he offered sexual favors i couldn't resist.

"Stop Jungkook, we have to get going im sure were already late."

Jungkook was surely stubborn as he didnt mind a blink to what i say as his hands traveled to my waist. I skimmed the room trying to find my items before my eyes landed on my pants only for Jungkook to grasp my ass and bringing me closer in proximity. I swear this boy couldn't control his dick for a few mere seconds. I loved how attracted he was to me and if we had different circumstances i would definitely join him in his actions. Jungkook still proceeded to continue his actions as his lips traveled to my neck making my eyes flutter and decide to take up on his offer.

He never had a way with words yet his simple touch had me melting even from the thought. I moaned slightly as he began to grow more aggressive as he smirked in victory at the effect he had on me. My hands danced on his chest while his still Mendel with my ass

."See princess, doesn't this offer feel much more exciting."

His lips dipped down to my collar bone as my head rolled back. His tongue skimmed across my collar mindlessly leaving small marks that were sure to be visible. I was certainly enjoying the activity between us as i let out a small moan.

I jumped slightly away from Jugkook while he stayed still while his room mate Yoongi entered the room uninvited. Besides Yoongis awkward timing, he was rather nice at times but still reminded as blunt as he truly is. Yoongi always talked about how Jungkook and I always were over hormonal teens who needed to be disinfected but still kept up with us. Yoongi occasionally asked us about his lyrics and see what they were made of as we were people of constructive criticism. He always appreciated that but couldn't help as things got weird the more i stayed around.

He was bitter in the beginning as he thought i was a lost groupie only to be found at there house a couple of days of the week. He had gotten use to my presence as i did to his. It still remains strange the more i stay around feeling as if i was out of place but as long as they stay comfortable with the circumstances I must as well

"Sorry Yoongi."

I nodded signifying that I was as well. I grabbed my pants as Jungkook searched for his as well. I was still in search for my shirt before settling on wearing one of Jungkooks. I didnt think anything of it at the time as it was only a clothing item and didnt hold any special meaning. I slide it on while also putting on a jacket over it zipping it up to take pre cations. I wasn't leaving this house without a shirt on so any shirt was find even if its Jungkooks shirt.

"Alright now thats taken care of do any of you need a ride cause your high school is around the corner from my college?"

I jumped up on the offer nodding my head long before Jungkook looked at me as if i had made an awful decision. By the looks of his eyes he wanted to attack me and not in a sexual desire way either. Yoongi picked up on his state as well while he eyed him occasionally looking at me, overall he seemed confused about the situation as was I.

"Um, I'll need a ride Y/N do you mind taking an uber? I just dont want people at school to catch on ya know."

Yeah I did know but i wouldnt expect him to pull something so provocative. It may have seemed bad on my side showing up with the schools fuck boy but rather for him he could have easily showed me off as a latest hook up. Was i really so disgraceful that i couldn't even play this simple part. my eager feelings for him but i couldn't help contort my face at the simple thoughts of his words.

I couldnt take it all to heart as this was expected but i didnt want to accept the slight pain in my heart due to it. I admitted how he made me feel yet he treated me like absolute shit. He was sweet at times but the flavor switched to a painfully bitter one as time passes.

"You're such a dick."

I couldnt control my state of mind as i was fueled from anger. I was already late for practice meaning extra laps and now Jungkook was fucking with my emotions yet again. Best of all he didnt let my statement affect him as he shook it off and held a bored blank stare.

I glared daggers at him expecting him to respond only resulting in him in rolling his eyes at my behavior. Yoongi was stuck in the middle of us both eyeing us back and forth awaiting the next move until the silence was enough for him.

"Well could you at least pay for the the girls Uber, have some fucking decency."

We both looked at Yoongi surprised he put his input. He rarely got in the way of our mindless conversations let alone a mini argument. Jungkook sighed and ushered to his wallet looking through it rather slowly. He scratched his head letting out a small groan signifying he didnt have any money or that he simply didnt have the need to give me any.

I shook my head waving him off telling them i would pay for it. I was far beyond his bullshit and had enough of what it was causing today. Knowing well of myself was sure to fall back into his trap with open arms.

"I dont know if i can do this anymore Tae, the whole thing is draining."

Tae and I had been under the bleachers passing a long needed Joint to one another. I hadn't found a purpose to participate as when arrived I had missed half of the game play. My emotions had also been scattered and I needed to talk them out instead of kicking a ball around.I took a long drag before coughing slightly, taking a deep breath after gathering my thoughts.

Tae grabbed the joint taking a long puff getting ready for what he was going to say with full forced.
