Garrus: Shepard, I have a question
Shepard: Ask away
Garrus: I will warn that it does feel... strange
Shepard: Just fucking ask, bud
Garrus: Remember when we were walking through Chora's Den and asking those dancers about that merc we were after?
Shepard: ...Yes?
Garrus: Well when I got back to my bunk that night I found a note in my armor with information on how to contact her
Shepard: So what, she has more answers for us? We should call her.
Garrus: Shut up, I'm not finished. After her information, she wrote, "call me at night and read me the phone book, baby"
Shepard:
Garrus:
Shepard:
Garrus: What the fuck does that mean?
Shepard:...You should read me the phone book one night and we'll find out
Garrus: Shepard this isn't funny
Shepard: Kinda funny
Garrus: What is a phone book? Why would I read it?
Shepard, giggling too hard:
Garrus: Shepard! I'm serious!
Shepard, struggling to breathe: I bet the food deliveries section would get particularly spicy
Garrus: You know what, fuck you
Shepard: I'm sure that's something the dancer would love to hear that
Garrus:
Shepard:
Garrus: She was hitting on me
Shepard: Yes. Yes she was

CONFESSION:
I’m convinced the figure with The Gun in the Dreadwolf concept art is Sera. Height seems right, outfit looks like one of her armor options, hood’s drawn up to conceal giveaway hair and ears. She also seems like the most likely returning companion since her status and end game doesn’t really change much, she has room to grow as a character and she’s an easy contact/representative for the remains of the Inquisition. I could also fully see Dagna making her a specialty firearm and if that is the case I dearly hope she’s trying to outdo Bianca and Bianca.

“I knew you were in there Pretzel.”
“I was never gone Pip.”
Words cannot properly express how happy I am with my commission from @commander-sarahs-art of my space twins from my Mass Effect 5e campaign! They finally got some time to be siblings again in our last online session, and I’m both sad and excited to resolve their story in our epilogue session that will be in person!
The date hasn’t been set yet, but I can’t wait to share more about what they’ll do now that the Reaper War is over and they survived it. Hopefully they’ll get to go home to Vancouver and spend time with their dad, and Piper will get her well deserved N7 designation and rank promotion…but only time will tell 🤞
Thank you so much again Sarah! I look forward to hopefully working with you again soon! 💙

My embroidery of the Sera character card from Dragon Age Inquisition is now complete!
75 hours of work, 11.5x19.5 cm

[Image description: An embroidered version of the Sera character selection card from Dragon Age Inquisition. She stands atop a slanted tree trunk with her bow held suggestively between her legs, looking at the Skyhold tower in the distance, where the tiny figure of the inquisitor is present in the window. Mountains and turrets make up the background behind her.]

For the record I feel like saying "Dreadwolf is going to suck because they laid off Mary Kirby" is like... really dramatically missing the point of what's going on here.
The next game has been in alpha for nearly a year now. Kirby's work on the game as a writer was probably mostly finished. Which does not make this better. If anything, it makes it worse.
The layoffs aren't terrible news because a game we're looking forward to might be worse because of them. They're terrible news because people who have devoted years of blood, sweat, and tears to making the game good (including the person who wrote one of the two characters on which they've been hanging the entire marketing campaign for said game thus far) have been axed now that the company has decided it can probably get by without them.
The quality of the game when it finally comes out is irrelevant here. If it's amazing, it won't make this any better, and if it's awful, it won't make it any worse. What matters is the people whose labor made it exist at all are profoundly undervalued, the industry as a whole is broken and frankly abusive, and I wish everyone in it some good labor organizing.

CONFESSION:
I can’t tell if I wish being monarch of Ferelden at the end of Origins was more impactful. Like I like that you can slide into a political marriage with Anora or get your fairy tale royal wedding with Alistair but it doesn’t feel super impactful long term. Which is sort of a good thing cause I don’t feel pressure like I have to do that because of what it adds to the story, but then that’s why I’m conflicted. I wish it added more but I’m also happy it doesn’t so it doesn’t feel like I’m missing out if I do an Original besides Cousland
