CONFESSION:
I’m convinced the figure with The Gun in the Dreadwolf concept art is Sera. Height seems right, outfit looks like one of her armor options, hood’s drawn up to conceal giveaway hair and ears. She also seems like the most likely returning companion since her status and end game doesn’t really change much, she has room to grow as a character and she’s an easy contact/representative for the remains of the Inquisition. I could also fully see Dagna making her a specialty firearm and if that is the case I dearly hope she’s trying to outdo Bianca and Bianca.

CONFESSION:
I can’t tell if I wish being monarch of Ferelden at the end of Origins was more impactful. Like I like that you can slide into a political marriage with Anora or get your fairy tale royal wedding with Alistair but it doesn’t feel super impactful long term. Which is sort of a good thing cause I don’t feel pressure like I have to do that because of what it adds to the story, but then that’s why I’m conflicted. I wish it added more but I’m also happy it doesn’t so it doesn’t feel like I’m missing out if I do an Original besides Cousland

I had a horrible thought. Phylacteries are usually glass vials of blood, but the Arcane Warrior (sidequest during Nature of the Beast) was in a gem. What if... an ancient being put itself in some sort of liquid phylactery, and then someone came along and drank it?

CONFESSION:
My GenX aunt who loves video games says Dorian reminds her of Prince Barin from the Flash Gordon movie she grew up with, while my uncle (My aunt's paternal twin) said Dorian is going to look like Ming when he gets old. And so I watched the movie and I can't unsee some things now and Ming's robes do look like something a Tevinter magister would wear. I have to admit the soundtrack is amazing though.

I hope eventually we get to see the events of Blight 1 in Dragon Age. Maybe in the base game in Dreadwolf, maybe as an expansion pack DLC. I really want to see how the Grey Wardens were founded, the true identity of the Warden who killed Dumat and whether or not Andraste was the Original Old God Baby

Got really sick...Confessions will resume in a few days
I probably mentioned this before but my brother in law and I run a very successful party/catering business. We recently did a kids party and a few days later we both got sick because some parents evidently let their sick kids come to the party. It hit us both hard with a high temp, cough, body aches, nausea, etc but was worse for my bro in law since he hates being sick. (Its a chef thing)
And no it was not Covid as we tested for it but whatever it was completely drained us.
We're still not feeling great and now my brother and my guy have it and we feel bad because they were taking care of us.
This experience has also made us decide to only do parties for those 16 and over from now on since its apparent a lot of parents out there can be thoughtless. (We found out several others became sick as well along with our client who paid us)
Anyway I just wanted to let you know and apologize for the blog not being updated. Everything will be back to normal soon. Thanks for understanding. -SMC

CONFESSION:
I'm in the medical field. During the pandemic, I worked twelve hour ships at my local hospital and had to deal with constantly being verbally abused and threatened. And while I would continue to hold my head high and try to care for people to the best of my ability, sometimes during my breaks I would think how handy mark of the rift would be to deal with some of these assholes.

I know it's a pipe dream, but I'd really like it if we could have a parent/child relationship with another party member. I'd REALLY love it if the Female Qunari was the players adopted daughter in the Dwarf origin. The Size difference would be so so be cute.

I always thought the inquisitor looked way too unconcerned when falling during the Here Lies the Abyss mission. They had some great shocked/angry expressions during other quests and missions and I always though they should have had one for the falling scene

I found those lyrium smuggler lurkers in the Hinterlands to be more annoying than the bears. The bears were only annoying when you had to deal with more than one and two of the lurkers.

Sometimes when killing the ghouls in the Darkspawn quest at the Storm Coast, some of their loot would be Ferelden-based like a toy soldier and I would realize these were likely people fleeing the blight and caught by darkspawn ten years earlier.
