Alastor knows that he is a perfect gentleman with high expectations.

He is one of the most feared overlords in Hell and thrives in the throes of chaos; those unfortunate souls who would dare to question him are torn apart, their screams broadcasted for all to hear and to remind them why he is here. Alastor knows he gets bored easily and doesn’t like to invest his time in short-lived entertainment, heavens no~! He’s here for the continuous, unpredictable acts on the stage of the Hazbin Hotel, that’s why he’s offered his services to Charlie as the gracious facility manager in the first place~!

Funnily enough, it was because of Lucifer’s delusional daughter that he met you. Through a colorful ad, you were given a room under the condition that you participated in all of the group activities unless you worked around the clock like the hotel’s other resident, Angel Dust. You admitted with a blank look that you did have a job in Cannibal Town, but your hours were flexible.

Oh~ho, someone new to entertain himself with, what a lovely day it is indeed~!

That had been his initial impression of you: never smiling, an excellent work ethic, and always dressed appropriately [unlike some people]. But as the months slowly trickled by, inching ever closer to the new extermination date and working with you on a near constant basis as facility manager and part-time groundskeeper respectively, you became…important to him. You opened to him about your services in both the Great War and as an Automemory Doll.

You had done many terrible things that you were not proud of. Initially you had thought by writing letters for clients, helping them convey the words they wanted to say to a loved one, would wash away the blood you had spilt on the battlefield. In the end, it was a foolish endeavor.

Your sins could not be so easily forgotten, and you had no doubt that some of the men you had killed were down here too, perhaps wanting to seek revenge for what you did. Your place is here in Hell, but that did not mean you could help sinners in your own way if they earnestly wished to redeem themselves.

It had been a sudden, pesky thing. The moments his feelings for you had altered, whenever that was…irritating to say the least though manageable. Alastor had not even realized that something as trivial as his feelings had changed at all until the small affliction upon his heart festered and grew, bubbling up to the surface and overwhelming him with an emotion he hadn’t identified before. He tried to stifle this emotion, pushing it far back down into the chambers of his rotted heart and forgetting all about it. Prioritize his hunger for freedom, to free himself from the leash coiled tightly around his neck. But all of his efforts were all for naught. No matter how painful it was to admit the truth to himself, Alastor knew. He knew that this desire to call you his companion would not stop clawing through his ribcage until he was absolutely sure that you reciprocate his feelings.

He tried to approach you with the intention of a proper courtship when romance was not his speciality; he helped you around the hotel excluding the greenhouse because of his special relationship with plants, his shadows secretly escorted you to and from work, and he used his magic to levitate heavy objects even when you had told him that you were quite strong physically. But you had somehow mistaken his intentions as a sign of self-improvement, much to his frustration.

When all hope seemed lost, however, he found a letter underneath his door one dreary Monday morning. He immediately recognized the ruby-red wax seal as yours and wasted no time opening it.

He read the contents, eyes growing larger and larger with each line and his heart hammering against his chest, suddenly feeling dizzy…dizzy with what? Shock? Joy? He wasn’t sure but those blasted shadows of his were dancing around the room, jazz music echoing from the swamp with besotted grins stretched across their inky faces. Love? Does he…love you as you love him? Well, your letter did not say it outright, you have confessed to him that you feel intense emotions whenever he is around you. You were bewildered and afraid and you do not blame him in any way. You just…needed help. His help in understanding these emotions before it drove you to the brink of madness and uncertainty.

Understanding what love is, even the concept of it is just as surreal and foreign to him. But if words could reach you far better than his actions, then it would be an insult to his reputation as the Radio Demon to simply improvise on his courting methods. So he wrote a reply to your letter, carefully and meticulously penning one sentence after another until he was satisfied. His shadows had the honor of delivering his letter, and the silence in his room allowed Alastor to focus preparing for tonight’s broadcast. He couldn’t keep the audience waiting~!

Hours later, he had a script. He had energy and more importantly, he was eager to hear Vox’s outraged howling once the fool realized yet another sponsor had been snatched from right underneath his flat-screened chin~! Oh, Alastor the Radio Demon was ready to go on air until a sudden knock interrupted his little spiel.

Confused, curious, and quite annoyed, he made a beeline towards the door, throwing it open and ready to skewer the miserable soul who would dare to intrude on his domain when he saw it was you, standing there with a silver tray in your hands. But what surprised him more than the sight of his favorite snacks and coffee was seeing a smile on your face. It wasn’t a forced one where you’d slap your cheeks and try to stretch them out, it was…a genuine smile. And it was directed towards him.

“May I join you?” You asked.

Suffice to say, those four little words told him everything he needed to know as his own grin widened, bowing from the waist. “Of course, my dear~! Please, come in, come in~! The show is just about to start~!”

Once you stepped inside the radio station, still smiling, that's how it began. His romantic relationship with you, that is.

Although you had told him more than once to go back to sleep after rising out of your shared bed at five o’clock in the morning, Alastor insisted on waking up with you. It is his choice as it is your habit to prepare for the day ahead much earlier than your colleagues. He will never say it out loud, but he does enjoy these quiet hours when it is just the two of you.

Alastor is in charge of making breakfast in the hotel’s brand new kitchen, and that is final. He will appreciate your assistance with setting up the table; meticulously placing the silverware and napkins down, changing out the bouquet of shriveled flowers with fresh ones from the greenhouse, and preparing his coffee just how he likes it in his favorite mug. He gladly prepares your usual morning tea and adds just a little more sliced fruit on your already full plate of eggs, bacon, and toast. You needed all of the energy at the emporium today~! Although you did work here at the hotel, Rosie owned your soul and you were her assistant. You made sure everything in Cannibal Town was running smoothly, including the emporium, should its darling overlord be away from her territory for a myriad of reasons.

Over breakfast, he would share ideas with you for his broadcast before deciding to put the words on paper. Goodness knows that he’s asked for assistance with typing or refining the scripts mere hours before he’s on the air, though at least he does it with more style than a clout-chasing, mediocre podcast who talks too fast and jumps from one fad to another in pursuit of allure. He hears your feedback with a thoughtful hum before asking if you would like another cup of tea.

After helping him clean up the kitchen, the two of you return to your room. He would read the morning newspapers in his comfy chair, sometimes out loud if the articles were interesting to hear over the click-clank-clank of your Remington typewriter as you wrote either scripts for his show or a daily report for Rosie. When the clock on the dresser struck seven, it was time for you to leave for Cannibal Town.

The two of you exchange words, wishing the other to have a good day and remember to smile because you are never fully dressed without one. Then you leave the hotel, suitcase in one hand and a tin lunchbox in the other. Alastor will also make your midday meals, so make sure to enjoy it to your heart's content. He will not be happy if you decide to forgo taking a proper break just so that you can be ahead of your workload. Granted it is a lovely surprise to see you return much earlier than normal, but Rosie shared his sentiments. Bottom line: take your lunch break when you are supposed to or you will face the disappointed wrath of two cannibals.

He might have seen that you are more than capable of keeping yourself in the Pentagram, but that will not lessen his protective nature. A shadow will always be by your side when you leave the hotel’s premises, keeping him up to date on your movements while he is helping Charlie or Vaggie.

Ironically, it is his position as the hotel’s facility manager that acts as his coping mechanism. He will keep himself busy for as long as possible, asking trivial questions here and there. He doesn’t want anyone to know that this…. habit developed because he does not like it when you are not home at exactly six o’clock. He knows Rosie would never keep you in Cannibal Town beyond working hours unless it was an emergency but have mercy on him! If you can't help working late, so be it but please come back to him as soon as you can. It would put his mind at ease just a little if you contacted him ahead of time.

Once you are home, he will immediately sweep you into his arms and do a little dance before escorting you to the dining room, with a hot meal already prepared and waiting for you to enjoy. He will sit with you so that you won’t have to eat by yourself. Once you’ve had your fill of food and drink, it’s time to unwind for the night. He will play soft jazz over the radio as either you read in bed, or he reads, and you do a tiny bit of work on your typewriter before it’s time for sleep. He won’t fall asleep until you have drifted off first.

Rosie will tease him about you being his support system over tea, but it’s true. You are the reason, the sanity, to his madness.

Missed You (Hayden x FemReader)

Summary: You miss your big dork badly, so when he comes home… Well, you just gotta make up for lost time.

Warnings: 18+ (minors dni), because it never hurts to be on the safe side. Making out and…Hayden’s skilled tongue and luscious lips.

- As much as you wanted to go with Hayden to his latest event, you, unfortunately, had to stay home…stupid job. And since you’re missing your big dork like crazy, you decide to try to cheer yourself up with some of your favorite comfort things.

- A bottle of wine, your fuzzy blanket, one of his t-shirts, and, of course, that one special movie. Everything was going great. You were starting to feel your mood really lift and vibing pretty good. Until a certain scene came on…

- “Don’t worry, baby boy! I still love you; crispy, barbeque butt and all!” You yell at the screen, big crocodile tears streaming down your face.

- You were very caught up in the moment. So much, in fact, that not only don’t you hear the front door open, but also a familiar voice calling out your name.

- Since you don’t properly answer, unless sobbing ‘Anniii’ counts, the source of that familiar voice sneaks up on you. And then proceeds to scare the ever-living shit out of you when… “Really, angel? Revenge of the Sith? You must have been missing me bad,” Hay chuckles, plopping down on the couch beside you.

- “What the?!” You dramatically squeak out, instinctively grabbing onto his shirt and burrowing yourself into his side.

- More laughter. “Sorry, baby, didn’t mean to do that!” Followed by his strong arms wrapping around you. “Let me make it up to you,” he says all sweetly. Pulling you into his lap, blanket and all.

- You want to be mad at him oh so badly. But seeing his smiling face, you can’t help but do so yourself. “You better,” you giggle giving him a playful smack.

- “Don’t I always,” he mutters. Lips just barely brushing against yours, large hands trailing down your arms and resting them on your hips.

- Shivering at his touch, goosebumps freckle your skin. Oh the things he could do to you. “Haayyy.”

- “Yeah?” He whispers, voice deep and gravelly. Blue eyes gazing intensely into yours.

- Leaning in close, your chest pressed into his. You gently grip his biceps and softly sigh. “Missed you.”

- His hand came up, cupping your cheek. “Missed you too.” And captures your lips, pulling you into a hot, searing kiss.

- Your head spins, body feels all flushed. Lips gliding over one another, so hungry and desperate for a taste. Your arms lazily wind around his thick neck, somehow drawing yourself even closer to him.

- Hayden bites down on the soft cushion of your bottom lip. Making you moan, to which he takes the opportunity and slips his tongue into your mouth. The kiss becoming more heated, as his totally dominates yours.

- Pulling away; both of you panting, lungs greedy for air. “Sweet as always.” He flashes you a small grin before his lips are back on yours.

- Wrapping your legs tightly around his waist, your throbbing core brushes against his hard cock. Causing each of you to moan and groan. His hands sliding down to knead and grope your ass.

- Passionate, needy kisses move down your neck. His teeth grazing over the sensitive skin, mouth marking you up so beautifully. His tongue gliding across your collarbone, savoring every inch of you.

- You gasp as he finds your sweet spot, nails digging into his broad shoulders. Your toes practically curling from the pleasure. “Fuck, Hay,” you whine, hips slowly dragging on his thighs and lap. “Please, pretty please.”

- “That’s, my girl.” Squeezing your butt firmly one last time, he grabs your hand and the half-drunk bottle of wine.

- Before you two go running off… “Wait!” You pause the movie. “Wouldn’t want to miss the ending.”

- Shaking his head, Hayden laughs and gives you a gentle tug. “Come on, little dork. I can’t stand to miss you a minute longer.”

- A wicked grin crosses your face as you slip an arm around his middle. “At least I’m not the one who talked about my snow blower in front of a huge audience.”

- You got a light tap on the ass for that one. “And my ride on lawn mower, don’t forget that.”

Twst boys and their respective Vocaloid songs

As the title said, I've been wanting to assign some Vocaloid songs for the twst characters as there are quite a lot of songs that specifically fit them! I'll include some lyrics part as of why I think it fits along with a small analysis + song link! I'm letting my Vocaloid braincells taking over this time hehe 🌹❤️

Riddle: Bitter Choco Decoration

Pretty self-explanatory from the lyrics if you remember Riddle’s backstory with his strict, controlling mother. His entire life up until he became a student has been under his mom’s influence and it ended up him being too strict even to himself and his emotions - just like the meaning of the song too.

Ace: Lost One’s Weeping

Being a rebellious person, I’m thinking this song fits Ace the most as it’s about questioning the flawed system, questioning one’s being and purpose and that if we have to keep living under some sort of authority for the rest of our life. As you can already see how he acts in Book 1 towards Riddle - defying authority, questioning it, and being rebellious about it.

“Can you say the formula for area ratio? Can you say the dreams of your childhood? Who threw those dreams in a ditch? Hey, who was it? You know who it was! When are you going to grow up!? What is a grown-up anyway? Do you know who has the answers? Hey, what should I do? I don't care anymore!”

Deuce: RAD DOGS

I picked this song for Deuce because of the lyrics, but also the beat and the meaning. The strong, powerful beat with the fast rap part really fit him don’t you think? The lyrics speaks of the struggle of going against the grain and choosing a life of freedom, although it comes with an effort and the ability to face everything life throws at us. We need to take a leap of faith and not settle for anything less than what we truly want, emphasizes the importance of taking a risk and restarting, not worrying about the reason or justifications for doing so, just like how Deuce acts in general with his goal and dream.

Trey: Ai no Material

Trey gives me a melancholic, casual and mature vibe, like an older brother who you can depend on anytime and he would give you his usual smile. That’s why I picked this song for him, although he always helps out everyone but I feel like he can be lonely sometimes, like perhaps he would need a helping hand or maybe some support. When I read the lyrics I think of him! I want to interpret it as Heartslabyul to Trey, who’s been always working hard for the dorm, and it’s the message that he might want to hear the most!

Cater: Phony

I know it might sound like it doesn’t fit him but in my opinion, this song sums up Cater as a character. We haven’t seen much of him in actual depth, but I definitely think he has more than he just appears. This song talks about how a person can mask and deceive themselves in lies, they’re aware of it, but they have to put it up in order to meet societal expectations. A constructed image or persona - the “fake” that they created and now they struggle to reconcile with their true self, and I think he is like that as well. (Aniplex please more Cater content for us we're waiting-)

Leona: Meltdown

The song is about one wanting to disappear, wanting to kill their old self and erase everything as if it’s like falling asleep. Though I think this song can be interpreted as having depression - and from what we see going on with Leona, I feel like he does show signs of it, I wish they would dive deeper into his story in Book 2 though! Other than that, I feel like the lyrics in here suit him a lot, especially the “sleep” part in the lyrics.

Jack: Night Sky Patrol of Tomorrow

I think this song fits Jack a lot, the vibe is definitely for him but also the lyrics as well. The headstrong vibe, full of uncertainty but also full of hope for tomorrow, despite feeling hopeless at times but what is important is never give up and head forward to the future. The song’s meaning is to convey resilience, independence, and the importance of cherishing the present moment even when you’re uncertain about some things. You could also take this as a JackMC song haha, It just fits him a lot imo!

Ruggie: Moonlight

This song fits Ruggie a lot in terms of lyrics, with numerous mentions of rags and junk and collecting them together to the longing of being your own self instead of being in someone else’s shadow and chasing after them. The singer compares themselves to a piece of junk or trash as they think of themselves lowly, just like Ruggie himself. The mention of moonlight here represents the singer’s ideal that they always chase after, like Ruggie’s life goal. Overall, the vibe of the song fit him a lot! (I recommend checking out the Vivid Bad Squad version too!)

Azul: Delusion Tax

In my opinion, this is the most fitting song I could think of for Azul. As said in the lyrics, we all have desires of our own, and the person (or in this case Miku) in this song is a genie that can grant any wishes, but in the end everything come with a price, anyone who make a wish with her will have to sell a part of themselves. Sounds just like Azul and his contracts don’t you think? But you can also think this reflects Azul’s own desires once you know his backstory too! (and also, check out this amazing art by my bestie! Her art is amazing!!)

I feel like the song is pretty self-explanatory, as you can see with the lyrics. It just fits Jade’s job and his approach to the “targets” and lure them into signing a contract with Azul, but it’s probably just more than the said goal… But you can never tell with that smile of his as his “kind” words accompany his looks. Until you realized you fell into the trap and become one of Azul’s underlings due to the contract (at least, until post-Book 3, but who knows)

A chaotic, addictive rock song that is very fitting for Floyd. Why though? According to the wiki “Most of the lyrics are nonsensically vague or ridiculous, with a slight hint of pain or sadness, giving the overall song a crazy and psychotic feeling. Therefore, the lyrics have been interpreted in various ways.” Just like the moody guy himself, don’t you think?

When his lips touched your throat, the world fell quiet. All you could hear was the frantic thrum of your pulse and the quiet drone of news on a distant television. Edward stills like he's reconsidering, and the breath that huffs through his nostrils tells you he's at war.

"I-it's okay."

He tenses and withdraws completely. Dismayed, you watch as the heavy eyed vampire settles back against the couch and looks away from you. His brows vex while his lips press to a thin line of a frown. You soften and crawl to him on the couch, reaching to encompass one of his cold hands inside your warm ones. This happened frequently enough to become routine. Edward was complex and the only vampire you knew who refused to drink human blood.

"I can't."

"I know."

Fingers twitch inside your palms, and you watch as his body stiffens. Edward isn't looking at you now, and your experience tells you that he's blaming himself. Patiently, you draw a blanket around the two of you and shift to lean your weight into his side. Edward is unmoving, but you hear his breath catch as your head drops to his shoulder. Neither of you say anything for what seems like an hour.

"You really want me to?"

His voice tugs you out of your dozing state, and you take a moment to process what he's asking. Edward finally turned his head, his face inches from your own while those haunted citrine eyes burn into yours. He looks sunken more than usual. The grooves under his cheek bones were deeper, and his eyes held bags beneath them.

He needed to eat.

"What are you asking me, Edward? If I want you to bite me or I want you to feed?" He winces at your tone and drops his gaze ashamedly. "You know the answer," You soften your words and cup his chin to look at you. "I'm okay with it, really I am. I'm not just saying that because, first of all, I know that shit is gonna hurt. And secondly, maybe I really trust you."

That tugs something in the man as he smiles faintly and turns his head to kiss into your palm. He can hear your pulse and the strong beat of your heart against your ribs. Your scent, healthy and young, appealing to him even more now that he was nearly starving. Mouth watering, Edward swallowed and brought you closer. There is a moment he looks at you, disbelieving he ever deserved you to begin with.

"If it starts to hurt too much, i-if you feel like you're gonna pass out, anything, I need you to try stop me." There is gravity to his words. If he lost control drinking from you, he could quite easily rip your throat and kill you on this couch. There would not be a single thing you could do to stop him. He was afraid of himself and afraid of hurting you.

You smile and nod as your thumb brushes his bottom lip. It was enough, and Edward kisses you. It's breathtaking, and your eyes fly closed as he envelopes you in his arms. His tongue flicks between your lips, and you greet him with your own. He groans softly, straining to keep his composure as he tastes you. Withdrawing and leaving you gasping, he kisses along your jaw and towards your neck. Goosebumps prickle on your skin as you dip your head back, exposing the arch of your throat.

Mouthing your flesh, Edward kitten licks over your pulse once again. You can feel his body tense and his chest swell as he braces himself. Your eyes are closed, holding perfectly still and trying not to tense - Edward mentioned something about tensing and making it difficult to bite through the skin. The pause this time is shorter, and you feel the scrape of his teeth as his jaws begin to open.

The breaking of flesh was a pain you'd never experienced before. You gasp as your hands fly to grasp his sides and curl into his shirt. An ache spread up your neck and down into your arm. Edward gasps above you as his jaws lock, and his grip becomes bruising. The warmth was leaving you steadily now as you spilled into his lips, your heart hammering so hard you thought it might pop. He groans into your skin, his tongue lashing against you as he sucks, he was losing himself in it, unable to think clearly while the primal desire to feed overwhelms his frontal lobe.

When your head began to swim and numbness prickled in your arms, you knew you were close to passing out. "Edward," your voice sounded far away. "I'm not feeling so well." It was difficult to speak. You were exhausted in a way you had never felt before. "Please." You whimper, unsure of how long it'd been and if you had lost enough for your heart to stop. In the moment, you can briefly recall hearing about humans only being able to lose about half a gallon of blood before dying.

There's a noise that escapes Edward that startles you. He dug his fingers tighter into your back before he wrenches his mouth off of you with a strangled gasp. Black spots burst in your eyes as you look up at him, hardly recognizing the blown pupils and bloody mouth of your lover. You're trying to talk, but your tongue is heavy and throat dry. As you lose consciousness, you hear a pained whimper; "I'm sorry,"

You awoke to a cool cloth against your forehead. All your senses needed time to reboot; you could hear the distant tv, smell something fragrant beside you, and feel the damp compress on your face. As your eyes open, you realize you are in the bedroom, and you sigh in relief. You hadn't died, which meant Edward kept himself under control.

"You're up!"

Edward steps into the room, holding a glass of water. He looks healthier, his face thickened, and his eyes sparkling. You smile to yourself and admire him for a moment as he draws closer and sits in the chair beside you. When he offers the water, you take it and drink eagerly while he watches. "You scared me, I thought I'd taken too much." He admits while he lays a hand against your leg.

"Nah, I'm just a wuss." You smile at him, and he smiles back.

"You weren't scared, were you?" He says suddenly, his eyes round as he searches your expression. Edward was always relentlessly concerned about you. You knew that this was a loaded question that would undoubtedly make him nervous.

"Not for a single second," you say, laying your hand over his. "I trust you, always and forever." There is something that moves in him, and you watch while he struggles with it. Edward felt undeserving of love due to what he was, and often times fought himself about having you around. You hoped in time you could heal that, and show him that - dead or undead - he was owed the world.

A smile tugs his lips, and he presses them to your temple. "I'll bring you something to eat, what would you like?" You watch as he stands and heads for the door, loving him for every single thing about him, including the droplets of your blood that still stained his white collar.

"Anything with red meat. Preferably bloody."

Summary: You hate Matt and he hates you... One day you collide and everything changes.

You don’t know what came over you, but the smack of your hand against Matt’s cheek shocks your both. Your palm burns and Matt’s mouth is open in surprise, the soft skin of his cheek already reddening. The room is silent except for your rapid breathing.

Matt turns to you, his eyes almost meeting yours as he grits his teeth. The next thing you know, his mouth is on yours, pressed together in a heated kiss. Matt bites down on your lip, enough for it to hurt, enough for that metallic taste of blood to fill your mouth.

Grunting, you bit back as hard as you can. You can almost swear you hear Matt whimper. It’s frantic after that. Matt pulling at your dress, pushing it up over your hips. Your hands fumbling with his belt, barely pushing them down, but just enough to free his already hard cock.

He presses you down, back hurting as it meets the hard surface of his desk. Pulling your panties to the side, Matt wasted no time lining himself up to your entrance, pushing in.

“Fuck sweetheart. If you hate me so much, why are you so fucking wet?” he smirks, pulling out slowly before bottoming out in you.

“Fuck you, Murdock. Fu-”

So you bite him again. his only response is to snap his hips forward in a brutal, unrelenting pace. It’s fast and dirty, Matt’s hips fucking into you hard, his hands gripping your hips so hard it’ll leave bruises.

You regret it the moment the words leave your lips, but you don’t have time to apologize before Matt has got you by the throat, stalking towards the wall, pushing you hard against it. “You’re such a pain in my ass!”

“And you’re a smug bastard!” you spit back, nearly wheezing with the pressure on your throat. You struggle in his hold, gripping his wrist, trying to remove his hands. “Let me go!”

“If you calm down, I will.”

“Fuck you, Murdock.” You shout, but Matt only grunts in response. Suddenly, he rips you away from the wall by your neck, throwing you over his desk. Coughing, all air knocked out of you, you try to get up but to no avail. Matt’s strong hand is holding you down, forcing you to bend over his desk.

“Calm down, sweetheart, before this gets ugly.”

It ends as quickly as it started. You come first, moaning Matt’s name over and over, your whole body shivering. Matt is not far behind, whimpering as he buries himself deep in you, filling you with him cum.

He pulls out, his breathing heavy as he steps away from the desk. You just lay there, staring at the ceiling as you try to catch your breath, already feeling Matt’s cum drip out of you.

Matt zips himself up, running his hand through his hair as his breathing slowly comes back to normal. “I’ll go for some coffee. You better not be here when I get back.”

And with that he leaves you, naked and angry on his desk, before you can even shout back at him. “Fuck you, Murdock.” You mutter under your breath. Few people could make you mad, but Matt Murdock? Leg bouncing. So much leg bouncing. To the point where he rattles the table. Angeal has grabbed his knee many times to make him stop.

Extreme task avoidance. Like it’s ridiculous. He would dearly love to be on time with his reports, alas he will do anything but while berating himself the entire time.

He’s messy. GODDESS is he messy. And what’s worse is that he can’t concentrate in the mess. He’s in a perpetual cycle of not being able to function, which leads to irritation, which leads to lashing out, which leads to overwhelm. Eventually Genesis will simple haul up in bed and cry because everything’s stressing him out.

Genesis fiddles with his earring like it’s a stim toy. He also taps the spine of his copy of LOVELESS against his leg subconsciously.

Makes popping sounds with his lips when he’s thinking.

The ADHD rage is strong in this one. Zack slurps? “Can you NOT?!” Angeal interrupts him mid moogle deep dive? “Get the FUCK away from me before I incinerate you!” Sephiroth turns on the overhead light? He’s THIS close to decking the demon of Wuti.

Frequently forgets to call Angeal while on mission. He’ll be told “let me know when you arrive so i know your okay.” And then won’t. The amount of times Gen has gotten home only to get lectured at that Angeal thought he was dead, and clearly he was too arrogant -and pigheaded to consider his friends.

Speaking of which. Rejection sensitivity. This presents itself in two main ways. One: Gen can’t take criticism he didn’t ask for. If someone (like Sephiroth or Angeal for instance) points out a flaw in his technique or his plan, or sends him back a report with corrections after proof reading he immediately shuts down and won’t listen. It’s like someone’s stuffed his frontal lobe with cotton. Two: if you yell at him he goes quiet and will think about it for days. He obsesses over small perceived rejections a lot.

If he likes you he won’t shut up. Be honoured he doesn’t like a lot of people.

If the vibes are off for Gen then they’re not doing it. Angeal and Sephiroth have learned not to question it. It’s saved their skin far more than they care to admit.

Needs validation a lot.

Midnight cleaning is unfortunately the only time he gets things done.

Manic episodes where he can’t sit still and ends up crashing randomly.

Not as sensitive to sound as Zack is but certain things like white noise emitters and certain genres of music make him want to tear his ears off.

No temperature regulation. He’s either too hot or too cold, both in excess never a happy medium.

His parents used to call him Lazy all the time because he had the potential of a child prodigy. After inventing pasteurisation/ apple juice Genesis struggled to focus on anything until he hyper fixated on becoming a SOLDIER, and then on LOVELESS. He got all the way to finishing his Masters in Classic literature and then didn’t continue to his PHD because he lost the dopamine. His longest running dopamine spike has been Sephiroth… and we all know how that ended.

- Now I really do think Pyro is fitting for Vox.

- Of course despite the whole Red and Hot Demon theme he's going for. I feel pyro fits him for his passion.

- He's a Demon king who lost his people hundreds of years ago, and now has returned to regain his power and new followers (Us the Kindred ❤️)

- He's a strong and powerful demon, but at times he gets so passionate with the things he loves and you often forget he's actually a big softie with how forward and how big his ego is.

- He has the vibe of protection that is similar to characters like Diluc.

- Seems so tough on the outside but actually has a lot of love in his heart.

I really think Pyro is the best vision, a close second is Geo

IKE EVELAND

- Another one with a vision similar to his color. I think Ike would have a Hydro vision.

- It's mostly for how he's always so calm and level headed.

- He thinks before he acts (unlike some of the other members, I jest)

- His energy is very much like waves and how you just feel so comforted as the water drifts past your legs ever so slightly.

- While Ike can be both chaotic and not, the soft and sweet energy are his most notable feature in my opinion.

Hydro is my best guess, other than that maybe Pryo

LUCA KANESHIRO

- Now I would say Geo, but I actually think of Anemo.

- Yes we know Anemo characters tend to have sad backstories (I mean the rest of the visions pretty much have too)

- But it's mostly cause Luca is so carefree and spontaneous

- I'm torn between both Geo and Anemo honestly (Hah my two favourite elements)

- Geo for how strong and how caring he is, like a shield. But Anemo for how carefree he is like how Anemo have control of the wind

- I'm so sorry Luca and Lucubs but I can't think of anything else, I'd love to add more tho

SHU YAMINO

- Now this might be an odd choice but it's just my opinion but Cryo

- It might just be me but I see Cryo as cunning, and slick

- Have you seen this man play fps games?? He's really cool and he's a clever man.

- I also feel like a lot of times he acts very cool and salm, while at times he can be a handful when he's with his members. I do think he is the least one to have a chaotic element like Electro or Pyro.

- He's a kind man and I don't see him get angry as much (to be fair I am not too familiar with Shu, I'm basing it of on streams and clips I have seen)

- Other than Cyro I think he'd fit with Hydro too

MYSTA RIAS

- Now I think Mysta was the more difficult for me. But I think Mysta would be electro, now I hear that it's often seen as a weaker element. But it's very powerful with the right elemental reaction such as Pyro.

- Now I'm not saying it's cause Mysta is this or that, but I think Mysta is much more happier when he's with close friends.

- I'm an introvert just like him, I get uncomfortable when I'm with others, but when I'm with people who im close with it changes. And I feel as though its the same thing for Mysta.

- I think Mysta is the most happy and comfortable when he's with his genmates or friends like Mika or Shoto. While he claims that he's not good with people and is introverted, if you watch any collab he has with people he trusts its a different case. Similarly with the Electro element

- Yes it's a good element, but it's much more stronger with others.

-Another element I'm thinking of is Dendro (similar reasons)

Especially the lyric "But I lost myself when I lost you" hits too close to home, knowing how she lost her powers and basically herself after she lost him. And the lyric "Trying to transmit, can you hear me? Ground Control to Major Tom, can you hear me all night long?" makes me think of Alina trying to communicate with Aleksander from the other side🥲

Also the lyric "Isn't it strange how you're not here with me?" (*silently sobbing*)

This song is Alina mourning.

(A little fun fact, this is the song I put on my earphones after I finished R&R to cope with the Darkling's death. Needless to say I cried even more with this).

Secondly, the lines "But I still get lonely..." and "It hurts to love you. But I still love you..." are them. I just can't explain it.🥲

What are the thoughts of the Nightsisters about Anakin? Maybe they even thought he would calm down the other monster Obi-Wan who lost his mate/wife. (I mean he already killed Ventress. He could have been become a real danger for them. And also does Quinlan hate him because he killed his Ventress?)

for your questions, i'm not sure all the answers!! i like leaving this fic open ended and vague because well, a lot of these details obi-wan doesn't know in the narration--specifically because he doesn't care to know. for him his caring stopped and ended right when he saw and held anakin in his arms again.

what padmé experienced, what she went through and sacrificed, is all in the background and blurred because obi-wan cannot bring himself to care about it. not actually. he makes his assumptions and those become facts (unless anakin disagrees), but they're not necessarily true

buttttt all that to be said, i think the nightsisters wanted the transaction and may have warned padmé a bit but not enough to dissuade her. she is stubborn and she is grieving. they told her a price and she paid it. maybe death affects people differently--maybe the nightsisters have done this before and the person is fine. maybe anakin just already had this darkness in him and it swallowed all of his goodness upon revival. maybe others didn't have that in them.

i feel like the nightsisters don't really care afterwards; they did their transaction, they raised the dead. over and done. anakin will never matter to them, alive or dead, as much as he mattered to the people who lost him. to the person who lost him (and the person he died thinking he would lose)

hello !! if it's ok, can i ask what your 'caspers' and 'poltergeists' tags mean? some posts have both of them tagged sometimes and i'm curious abt that

YOU FOUND THE SAM TAGS YOU WIN THE GRAND PRIZE

"caspers" is my 616/canon/normal sam tag but "poltergeists" is my tag specifically about my earth 65 au sam which i have written about extensively here (and am ALWAYS willing to discuss more), so the reason a lot of posts have both tags is because at their core they are. The same person ❤️. Throughout both tags there is a strong motif of ghosts, in reference to the name Ghost Brother and also because i think its an INCREDIBLY powerful metaphor when it comes to Sam.

When it comes to character tags especially, these poetry/aesthetic tags are a way for me to sort of express how i think about something. So, for caspers, what i look for in poetry/text is themes of isolation, abandonment and being forgotten, loneliness, being seen— or in a negative context, being watched. But also being protective of your friends and family, determination and striking out on your own, inventiveness, and a lot more complicated concepts i dont feel like i can list right now. Visually, i look for glass and clear plastic and other translucent things, metal working, electricity, obscured faces and silhouettes, high contrast pieces, things that look like theyre made of scraps, and other things that just give me the Vibe, i can't always explain everything one to one.

Now when it comes to poltergeists, it's a little different. The ghost motif takes the form mostly of haunted houses. e65!Sam is a version of sam who has basically lost all hope, and even though all his family are alive, Matt and Gwen are really the only ones he has. He's just jaded to the absolute max, its like that crushing feeling you get when you look at politics sometimes and that's the dominant emotion in his life. Common motifs in poetry and images are fire, leaving before they can leave you, hostile architecture, immense violence, art that makes you feel very. , wounds, the color red, survival at any cost, teeth and dogs.

You have no idea how long ive been waiting for someone to ask abt a character tag man you have NO idea. Its been kinda hard to fill the character tags recently though, because i feel like I've sort of run out of posts that aren't horribly cliche or just reposts of poetry that're already in the tag. I think this is kinda a problem with all the tags rlly but i find some eventually no matter what

had a pretty intense and genuinely embarrassing truecrime girly phase through like her late teens/college. probably would have started a podcast if shed had the ability at the time.

i think that and her desire to pursue a career in psychiatry/work at arkham sorta stem from this same root interest in like understanding why certain people commit violent crimes which was well-intended but ultimately came from a kind of ableist place. like she always sympathized really heavily with the people in her care but also like subconsciously saw a lot of them as these poor lost little lambs that needed her help rather than full complex human beings and thats what kinda fucked her in the end.

generally an empathetic person. tends to take on other peoples burdens. sometimes to an unhealthy degree.

i think her and bruce actually have a lot in common in that regard and when theyre not actively at odds they vibe p well for that and other reasons. also shes just the sort of person whos rly easy to get along with. she may one of if not the only rogue who none of the others rly has any lasting beef with.

bi and poly (this is basically canon anyway). i feel like some ppl tend to act as if shes only ever dated the joker and pamela but i def think shes been in and out of a lot of relationships over the years, some better than others.

she has a bad habit of 1) finding kinda messed up power dynamics a lil sexy and 2) harboring some serious "i can fix them" energy when it comes to her more obviously misguided crushes. she likes the security of a partner who she feels like will take care of her but who still relies on her emotionally and unfortunately some people use that to take advantage.

i dont know if she would necessarily consciously identify as a Femme but like. she soo is.

this is like more related to my specific dyke scarecrow au than anything canon but i see them as old exes. in true dyke fashion, they have stayed good friends in spite of the breakup. take this one or leave it but either way i like the two of them as besties soo much.

has always struggled with this impulse towards violence especially when shes feeling restless or manic. (i say struggled but shes probably having a blast with it now) i think in the past she was very self conscious about this (especially when she was newly out and trying very hard to be perceived as feminine) and tried very hard to present herself as someone self contained and in control. for better or for worse, shes much happier when shes allowed to be a force of chaos.

lowkey had a weeb phase. still very much loves j-fashion and magical girl anime. plays some video games but largely prefers the feel of a big clunky cabinet arcade game over a home console. its the buttons, the lights, the ability to loudly and dramatically tip the whole thing over if youre mad enough about losing. has watched mlp. fav is pinkie pie. obviously.

there is an aspect of her like hyper girly almost childish persona which is kind of a performance. like. it is her to a degree, but its also kind of a coping mechanism. almost like a form of drag, shes leaning into the stereotype to get a rise out of people or to protect herself. sometimes both at once. the few people who really know her well enough will start to notice little tells to differentiate when shes really feeling the vibe and when shes deliberately putting on a show.

has definitely given herself a shit haircut/dye job while in a depression spiral.

generally its just like. she feels so so so so so much all the time like oh my god make it stop for two seconds.
