Her name was Samiya and she was brutally stabbed in the neck and chest before she was taken to a New York hospital with her sister Sanyia (who had been stabbed in the arm), where she did not survive her injuries from her neck and chest. These sisters were just at a store, and this predator FOLLOWED them after he was rejected and attacked them. He waited for them -and he's still not caught. This is just absolutely horrifying.
Misogyny fuels violence against women -and this very clear epidemic is killing young girls and women.
I cannot imagine the degree of entitlement you think you have to anyone's time and bodies- that anyone could hold that much disdain for rejection, and is okay with exerting power, control, and violence upon another person because YOUR ego is bruised. Fuck toxic masculinity and dismantle the patriarchy until it burns to the ground because I'm so sick of seeing this.
I wish all the best to the family and loved ones of Samiya. This young teenager should still be here. And I hope the man who did this gets apprehended and faces endless misery and misfortune in his lifetime.

The feminist goal is not convince men that women and girls have value. It’s to have a future where the judgment of our value doesn’t lie in the hands of men.

I just had this conversation with my friend and I thought I'd share it here : believing that feminism has to educate men in order to destroy the patriarchy because we cannot do it without them (this is what she believes) is believing that men oppress us because they are ignorant. It is saying that they oppress us because they don't know what they're doing and don't realize they are doing something wrong, and that somehow this ignorance has been going on for centuries. It is being overly naive. Men aren't babies. Men aren't innocent little beings who would never hurt us if they knew their actions were hurtful. They have been oppressing us for thousands of years, we have been figthing against it for thousands of years ; how could it be possible for them not to understand what they do ? How could they possibly take away our rights without understanding what they do ? How could they hit us, rape us, traffick us without understanding what they do ? And it's not like feminism is new. We have been fighting for centuries and they have been fighting back for centuries to prevent us to free ourselves. They don't read feminist books, they don't take listen to our sperches, they ignore us when we talk about our rights, they mock us, they don't take us seriously. And listen to them speaking. Listen to them giving each other relationship advices, teaching each other to manipulate us. Listen to them talking about us. Read their comments on the internet. Read their damn books and essays about feminism and women's rights. They know what they're doing. They don't care about us. They hate us, they don't see us as humans.

The Barbie Movie shows really one thing...
Which is, that some men are utterly unable to differenciate between "men" and "the patriarchy". (To be fair, some women somehow do not manage that either.)
Tumblr media
Spoilers!
I mean, the movie is not subtle at all. It just goes in there saying: "Patriarchy is bad. Even for men." While also saying: "Actually, Matriarchy is not that great either." Like, it is right there in the movie. There is not even that much of a metaphor going on. The movie has a fucking narrator, just to clear up any misunderstandings.
Yet, somehow all those whiny movie review blokes all just hear "Men are bad", because they are entirely unable to differenciate between patriarchy and men. As if men were non-existent under any other form of organizing society.
And we actually get it pretty much called out how under patriarchy men still exist within constant competition with each other, because they gotta define themselves by what they have instead of who they are. They are not worth anything on their own. But their entire worth is defined by what they have. Their house. Their car. Their job. Their girlfriend. They need other things to reinforce their value, because the system is devaluing them as people.
But yeah, sure. The movie is "anti-men"... Totally. 🙄

I... didn't know there was an incel wiki. Look at this shit :
Tumblr media
I really thought it was satyre at first...but I don't see any disclaimer that it is, so I have to assume that they're so stupid it's hilarious. "Radfems often self identify as radfems" that's...wow...who would've guessed 🤔🤔
We should mercifully put them down before they embarass themselves further is all I'm saying.

A society that tolerates prostitution is an inhumane society. Not only are the direct victims (those who are trafficked and brought) harmed but women and children as a whole. As long as one dominant group (men) can buy the body of another, women will all be the “purchaseable sex”.

A radfem friend of mine said about a year ago that patriarchy is schizophrenic, and I’ll never stop using that phrase because there are so many perfect examples of it.
🌻 Women and girls are socialised to ignore what our gut instincts tell us about dodgy guys, to internet harassment as a compliment, to always give the benefit of the doubt. And then when we get abused, we’re asked “Why didn’t you just take the red flags seriously?” “Why did you think the way he was treating you was love?”
🌻 We are routinely called whores, bitches, sluts and cunts AFTER rejecting a man’s sexual advances, or attempts to assault us. Ask the women in your life if they’ve ever been approached for sex, said no, and in response the dude went “whatever I didn’t want your ugly ass anyway, you’re a whore” (even though it was his behaviour that fitted the definition of whoreing… they just don’t care about being hypocrites because those insults are designed to force specifically women into compliance).
🌻 The manosphere (e.g. incels, pick-up artists) shame us for having any kind of sexuality, but then demand a high supply of women willing to hook up with them, and a high supply of sex workers to crate porn for them to fap to.
🌻 Andrew Tate uses the existence of vulnerable women who he has succeeded in grooming and abusing, as “evidence that women are intellectually inferior and emotionally weak”. But his business empire relies on the existence of these vulnerable, susceptible young women. If they cease to exist, the entire sex industry collapses.
One of the most lifechanging penny drop moments you can have as a woman is this: the very things that misogynists want from us, are the things they will shame us for doing, and punish us with against our will. That’s how the game is rigged for us to lose. So the only way out is just to refuse to play it.
