"I'm sorry about my family" Fred whispers so low that I almost don't hear him. I move my head to the side to face him with a frown. I ask, "what?"
"They can be a little much sometimes I know." Fred continues and I find myself even more confused. I place one of my hand's to his face and I ask, "what makes you say that?"
He doesn't say anything, but I don't press, hoping that he will say something anyway. I rub my thumb in soft circles over his cheek, and I shuffle a bit under the covers. He holds my wrist, taking my hand off his face to press a kiss to my palm. Even after dating for a while now, I still get butterflies.
"I've been told that my family comes on a bit strong. Mom with her affection, dad with all his muggle gadgets, Charlie with the dragons-" Fred starts but I cut him off, unable to hear him say anything else, "Fred, no don't say that. I love your family."
"Really?" Fred asks, hesitantly. I nod my head eagerly, and ask, "what made you think that Fred?"
"I wanted you to like me- I didn't want my family to freak you out." Fred replies with a small blush on his cheeks. I smile at him and say, "if you haven't noticed Fred I do like you, that's why I'm your girlfriend."
"Hopefully it stays that way." Fred mumbles as he pulls me closer to him. I nuzzle my face into his chest as he wraps his arms around me. He rests his chin on my head and I don't think I've ever felt more relaxed. He asks, "well aside from my family, how was your day?"
"It was good, I read a new book, it was great." I say as I recall the events of what I'm sure is now one of my favourite books. Fred says, "you can tell me all about it tomorrow."
"But nothing else really, what about you?" I ask him lifting my head up so I can look at his gorgeous brown eyes. He smiles and says, "George and I found a good location for the shop, it's in diagon alley and above it, there is a good apartment-it's all within the budget of course."
"Fred, that's great. I'm so excited for you." I beam at the wonderful news, and I can see that mischievous and excited look in his eyes, the same one he always had when he was about to prank someone, except that this time it was bigger.
"The apartment is great too, two bathrooms, two bedrooms- that is if you don't mind us sharing the apartment with George" Fred rambles, and I blink for a second before realising. I tease, " Fredrick gedion weasley! Is this your way of asking me to move in with you?"
He rubs the back of his neck, sheepishly. He says, " I kind of hoped that you wouldn't notice and just say yes. Things have been going well, I just thought that it was time- unless of course you don't want to-"
"Of course I want to, you idiot." I cut him off and nuzzle my head back into his chest. He wraps his arms more tightly around me and he presses a kiss to the top of my head and whispers, "good."
"Its got a big kitchen too since I know you like to bake." Fred says like he's still trying to convince me to move in with him, I would move in with him into a swamp if he asked me to. I reply, "Just some anxiety cookies no big deal."
"It doesn't matter what's their cause what matters is that they're damn good and by the way I love you" He says quickly that I almost don't catch it. My goes go wide and I look up at him and tease, "Crossing off a lot of big milestones today, Fred. What's next you're gonna pop out an engagement ring then tell me you're pregnant"
"Haha very funny" He replies, sarcastically, avoiding my gaze. I continue with a wide grin, I still can't believe he said it, "No seriously should I buy baby clothes, get you my ring size-"
"Go to sleep, love." He whispers before turning to the side to close the bedside lamp. I'm still smiling when I say, "Okay."
I wait a few seconds before pressing a knee to his cheek and wrapping my arms around his torso. I say, cheerfully, "I love you too by the way, goodnight."

Y/n entered the train when a hand waved her over to a compartment. She entered the compartment where she saw familiar faces. Amelia and Leo were sitting across from each other, Y/n gave a quick 'hello' but then gave a confused expression.
"Where's Raine and Link?" she asked, Amelia rolled her eyes at the mention of the two. "Pranking the first years with Fred and George. Same as always."
Leo scooted closer to the window and left more room for Y/n to sit down. "Judging by the sudden silence, I'm assuming their plan is already in place." Y/n tilted her head back and sighed. "Merlins, do I even want to know what they have planned this time around?"
Leo chuckled slightly as he shook his head,"Why spoil it?" Just as those words left his mouth Lorraine, Fred and George came running in the compartment abruptly. They had their hands on their knees and were out of breath. "I'm assuming something went wrong" Y/n remarked.
Fred was peeking his head around every now and until finally shutting the door.
"Yeah..about that we uh kind of got the wrong compartment" Lorraine said as she took a seat, bunched up next to Y/n as Fred and George stood and avoided the window to the compartment door.
"Wait-" Amelia started looking around, "Where's Link?" Fred, George and Lorraine suddenly looked at each other and back at the girl.
"He kind of decided to take his own road but he's fi-" before George could finish his sentence the compartment door opened. The three pranksters jumped but soon relaxed when they saw that it was only Link. "Merlin's beard, you scared us," Fred said.
"Sorry bout' that mate just had to wait for the coast to be clear before showing my face" Link responded, still taking heavy breaths. "Whose compartment did you get instead?" Amelia asked curiously.
"Draco's who was with Blaise and Theo. We ran before they could even leave their seats" Fred said, slightly laughing as he recalled the memory. "You should have seen their faces when the stink bombs went off" the four started to laugh.
"I swear one of these days, you're gonna get yourselves killed" Leo said as he shook his head.
They arrive at Hogwarts and separate when getting to the Great Hall to go to their house tables. Amelia and Y/n sat together at the Slytherin table, Link sat with the Hufflepuffs and Lorraine and Leo sat at the Ravenclaw table. Dumbledore made the same speech he made every year. It was their fifth year, they had gotten used to the same boring words he fed them at the beginning of every year.
Eventually it was time to eat and the Great Hall grew with noise. Y/n sat and ate silently as Amelia spoke with another Slytherin. Y/n wasn't one for making conversation, half the time it felt forced. She kept a small friend group and that was it. Y/n was an anti-social butterfly as her friend called her.
Y/n poked around at her food but couldn't help but feel eyes on her. She looked up to see a Gryffindor girl staring at her, only for the girl to instantly avert her stare. Y/n felt heat rush to her cheeks from being stared at. The Slytherin stared back at her food as her mind kept trailing back to the girl.
Suddenly, Y/n felt a gentle nudge. "You alright?" Amelia asked the girl. Y/n only nodded and turned her head back at her food. Amelia looked at the girl skeptically but didn't want to push and left it at that.
Amelia and Y/n made their way to the dungeons when Amelia spoke. "I know you're always spaced out and stuff but you seemed a bit more than usual. Everything okay?"
Y/n thought for a moment. "Yeah it's just..there was this girl who I caught staring and it just caught me off guard I guess." Amelia gave a little smirk which confused Y/n. "What?"
"I think I might know who you're talking about," Amelia replied. "And how is that?" Y/n asked curiously. "Just have a feeling it's the same girl who I've caught staring at you before" Amelia answered as she still held a small smirk.
"And who might that be?" Y/n asked, heat rushing to her cheeks. "Just some girl whom you’ve never spoken to but I have a feeling this year will be different. Considering this is the first time your clueless ass has noticed" Amelia remarked.
Y/n rolled her eyes at the girl's last comment, "Enough playing blue's clues, I'm exhausted." The two girls entered the Slytherin common room and made their way to the dorms.

Sebastian Sallow x f!SlytherinReader
Summary: After the colourful events of your fifth year, the trauma you'd experienced was haunting you. Not wanting to go home for the summer holidays to your muggle non-understanding parents, the question arises: where will you stay over the summer?
Words: 4.9k

Tumblr media
End of term. The summer holidays had begun. The air felt a little lighter and a beautiful bright blue sky shone over the castle and surrounding hamlets.
There had been a certain buzz in the air, an almost palpable excitement for the upcoming break over the past few weeks at Hogwarts. Exams were over, many students taking their O.W.L.S and N.E.W.T.S had returned to their regular scheduled care free attitudes. The Professors even lightened up during the last few weeks of term. Even Professor Sharp didn’t give Garreth detention for blowing up his maxima potion, by somehow adding Puffskien fur to the concoction. Weasley getting off scot-free under Professor Sharp's watchful eye was unheard of up until now.
Breaktimes were largely spent outdoors, the main common areas of the castle left tranquil and silent in the cool shade. You preferred this however. The calming atmosphere of the castle and the alone time was what you desperately needed.
You spend your afternoons curled up on a bench in the Defence Against the Dark Arts tower with a book, or preferably your common room. The library was your usual haunt but it had become unbearable in the heat. Plus, Madam Scriber seemed much more irritable than usual, although you could hardly blame her, being stuck inside that sauna all day. She was stalking around looking as if she was about to cast Glacius on herself.
The question had arisen early on Monday morning, the last Monday of term.
“So, are you going back to your parents for the holidays?” Sebastian asked, slumping down next to you on the almost empty common room sofa, leaning his elbows on his knees.
He looked tired nowadays, not the same confident, charming freckle faced boy you’d met on your first day. Hints of him returned every now and then, but it felt as if you were seeing him through a thin veil. It broke your heart.
You shook your head, giving a definite no. You hadn’t even told your parents you weren’t planning on returning for the summer holidays. At least not straight away. You weren’t sure what you were going to do but, Merlin knows you couldn’t just go home.
You loved your parents, dearly. You didn’t hate the muggle world either, quite the contrary in fact. Despite all this, you just couldn’t quite bring yourself to face your perfectly normal home and perfectly normal parents. Not yet. Not after the year you’d had.
The truth was, ever since defeating Ranrok and witnessing Professor Fig’s death mere months ago, you didn’t sleep. Or if you did manage to drift off, peaceful sleep was evaded by horrific nightmares and haunting images of your beloved Professor Fig laying lifeless before you. Or Ranroks bellowing, booming distorted voice, pounding in your ears, and that huge monstrous dragon creature looming over you.
You wake up in cold sweats a lot, panting and shaking. It was useless to attempt to settle again after that, instead most early mornings, you’d make your way into the common area and curl up once again, with a book.
That wasn’t the only thing lingering and haunting you. Sebastian. You had witnessed him perform the worst Unforgivable imaginable. He committed murder, on his own family member no less. That was your best friend, of course you wouldn’t turn him in. You couldn’t. A part of you wanted to hate Sebastian for what he did, for being so stupid, but you never could. Your eyes still fixed on him with the same adoring gaze you’d always had, but the guilt was eating you alive for feeling this way. About someone who’d done something so terrible, someone you were protecting.
Still, everytime he came and joined you like he did on that Monday morning, you desperately wanted to throw yourself into his arms. To sob into his chest and spill every single tiny worry you’d been having while gripping him so tight he couldn’t move. Sebastian had no idea the turmoil you’d been experiencing over the past few months. He was aware something was up, but in his mind he’d put it down to just recovering from recent events. He had no idea the true extent of your suffering. You couldn’t bring yourself to even mention it. He was going through so much himself, his Uncle, and now losing Anne. Even Ominis had abandoned his best friend. You couldn’t blame them. So you'd simply just kept quiet. He was in agony too.
So the both of you sat there, in a lingering silence, you staring at your book and Sebastian at the floor.
After a moment, Sebastian responded.
“Where are you going to go?”
You shrugged indifferently.
“I’m not sure yet. My parents aren’t going to be home for the first few weeks, and I don’t fancy being alone in my muggle house.” You lied, flicking the page of your book, knowing your parents weren’t going anywhere. The height of their adventures includes visiting the coast sometimes for a weekend once a year.
Sebastian shifted for a second in his seat, elbows still resting on his knees, seemingly deep in thought.
“Why don’t you stay with me, for a bit?” He asked, hesitantly.
You turned to look at him for a second, your eyes pulling away from your book for the first time in what felt like hours. Your eyes had to adjust to your surroundings, the edges seemingly blurry.
“What do you mean?”
“Well, my Uncle’s house in Feldcroft. It’s the only place I’ve got. But it’s empty now, with Uncle Solomon...” He trailed off at his words and you nodded gently, showing that he needn’t go no further.
“And Anne… doesn’t want to see me. She’s staying with her friend’s family I think. Ominis, I’m not sure. He’s not spoken to me since… everything” Sebastian continued thickly.
“So, I wouldn’t mind the company, if you-“
“Yes. That would be nice.” You cut him off, responding a bit too quickly.
In all honesty, you couldn’t think of a better offer. Sebastian couldn’t bare to be in that house alone and you couldn’t bare to be with people that didn’t have a clue what had happened to you. Or even begin to understand what had happened to you. And where on earth do you begin to even explain such events?
“Settled. You can stay as long as you like.” Sebastian said, softly.
-
The last day of term approached very quickly. Everyone hugging, saying their goodbyes with their mountains of trunks following closely behind them and a shower of owls in hot pursuit.
The majority of students were readying themselves for the Hogwarts Express, you and Sebastian amongst another small handful of students were awaiting carts to take them and their luggage to various hamlets across the Scottish Highlands.
Amongst the sea of faces awaiting to head over to the Hogwarts express, you caught a glimpse of one of your favourites.
You made a beeline straight for the pale faced boy, who was standing amongst his peers with his luggage.
“Ominis!” You approached him slightly out of breath, having to push through the crowd.
“Oh, Y/N.” Ominis said, softly.
You didn’t hesitate and pulled him into a long, hard hug. He jumped slightly at the sudden contact, and you muttered an apologetic ‘sorry’ in his ear as you pulled away, forgetting his rule about surprise hugs. They tended to startle him.
“How are you?” You asked tentatively.
“I’m fine, how are you?
“Oh Ominis, I’ve missed you.” You could feel your throat closing as you clung onto the boy's robes.
“Where are you going for the summer?” You asked suddenly, aware that Ominis usually spent the summer with the Sallow family.
“My parents.” The boy said, coldly. You were aware this tone wasn’t directed at you.
“Oh, Ominis…” you sighed apologetically.
“What about you? You’re going home I assume?”
“No,” you croaked. “I’m, I’m staying in Feldcroft, with-“
“Ah. I see.” Ominis cut you off, he couldn’t bear to hear the name of his former best friend any longer. The betrayal he felt over Sebastian’s actions cut deep.
“Are you sure you don’t want to-“ but again you were cut short.
“No thank you, Y/N. In my eyes he is no better than my parents.”
Your eyes widened at this comment, it hit you hard.
“You surely don’t mean that, Ominis.” You gasped.
“I won’t discuss it further. Have a pleasant summer, Y/N.”
And with Ominis’s final words, the distant sound of the Hogwarts Express pulling up rang in the air. The steam engine hissed lowly in the distance, and the crowd of students suddenly erupted to life, all clambering for their luggage.
You watched as Ominis gathered his things and disappeared into the crowd without another word, your stomach burning and twisting and his words still echoing in your ears.
You returned to Sebastian after your brief conversation with Ominis, you didn’t share any details with him. You decided he didn’t need to hear what had been said.
The two of you clambered onto a Thestral cart that was heading for Feldcroft.
-
It took you a mere few hours to settle at the Sallow house. Feldcroft was much livelier since Ranrok’s loyalists had cleared off, although some locals still seemed on high alert, which was perfectly reasonable in your book. There were still remnants of battle preparation scattered across the hamlet, crates of chinese chomping cabbages and Dark Wizard dummies still everpresent.
You’d unpacked your trunk, and Sebastian had shown you your bed.
You were sleeping in Anne’s old bed.
You’d seen the Sallow house once before, and it was cosy and quaint, much like all the other houses in the settlement. It wasn’t much but you felt safe. You had Sebastian. That was enough.
Sebastian had been in and out of the house all day, chatting briefly to neighbours and locals. A lot of people seemed to be wondering about the whereabouts of the rest of the family. Sebastian had come up with a clever lie about Anne, and as far as the rest of Feldcroft knew, Uncle Solomon had died in a tragic accident defending his brother's children from Ranrok’s loyalists. After his fifth conversation that afternoon with another local wanting the latest news, he stormed in through the front door, locked it behind him with his wand and slumped down on his bed, face in his hands.
A deep sigh escaped his lips and he rubbed his hand roughly over his face.
“People asking questions?” You asked, quietly.
“Too many. Once I leave Hogwarts, I’ll be out of this place.”
-
It was late into the evening when shot up from the kitchen table, you’d both been relaxing by the fire, a game of chess between you.
“What, what is it?” Sebastian said, sitting straight back in his chair in surprise.
“I completely forgot to write an owl to my parents, they’re going to expect me home.” You were saying the words as you scrambled frantically through your trunk for spare parchment and a quill. You seized the spares you could find and began scrawling a letter to your parents on the kitchen table, informing them of your whereabouts.
You were deep in thought composing your letter until Sebastian said
“But Y/N, you don’t have an owl?”
You stopped writing mid sentence and looked up at him, the realisation dawning on both of you that neither of you had owls.
“I’ll nip over to the school owlry, it’ll be fine.” You uttered quickly after a second, and continued to write.
“Y/N, how? You can’t get into the school.”
“I have a broom Sebastian, I won’t get caught.”
You stood up straight, finishing your letter and producing an envelope from thin air to slot it in. You sealed it and scrawled your parents' address on it. Making your way towards the door, Sebastian called out after you.
“Y/N, it’s late. Do you want me to join you? Will you be okay?”
You turned to look at him briefly, and a small smile formed on your lips for the first time in what felt like a lifetime. Sebastian relaxed in his seat slightly when meeting your eye.
“You’re right, you’ll be fine. But, if there’s anything, anything at all, you come right back or send up flares, do you understand?” Sebastian ordered, and you nodded, still sporting a small smile as you headed outside for your broom.
The cool, evening summer air hit your face pleasantly as you soared through the night sky, heading back towards Hogwarts, silently cursing at yourself for forgetting to do this a week ago.
Still, you were somewhat grateful for this. It gave you an excuse to go out alone, a ride on your broom always cleared your head. There was an extraordinary feeling of peace being up in the sky at night. The quiet, the stars twinkling just above and the faint glow of fires and candles littering the ground below.
You managed to sneak into the school owlry without much of a problem. Alohomora easily broke the lock, and you sent a scrawny barn owl on its way with your letter. You hoped it wouldn’t be long before your parents received it, you knew they’d be worrying by now. Not hanging around, you kicked off the tower, soaring straight back into the air, heading back for Feldcroft.
-
The hamlet grew nearer, the tiny houses in the distance growing bigger as you flew closer to your temporary home. All of a sudden, your stomach began to twist violently. Anxiety flooded through your body and you stiffened on your broom, making a sharp dive to the right. You plummeted for the ground, needing your feet to be touching something solid this very second. You landed hard, stumbling a little as you tried to steady yourself. Taking a deep breath, you leant on your broom for support and attempted to breathe.
You didn’t know why the sight of Feldcroft had caused you to react like that, maybe it was the thought of being inside and cooped up that just filled you with dread? The thought of having to sleep again, only to experience harrowing nightmares? Your head spun and you collected yourself for a moment, before setting off slowly the opposite way from Feldcroft.
You walked, and walked. You weren’t even sure for how long or how far, you were just enjoying the serenity. The odd sound did startle you, but you gripped your wand tight and carried on down a dirt path. A lake emerged to your right, as the trees and bushes thinned. It looked beautiful you thought, as you were immediately drawn to the still water, glistening under the moonlight. You sat for a moment on the ground next to it, legs up at your chin, still gripping your wand. Your eyes glazed over the water absentmindedly, your mind running at a hundred miles an hour.
You kept thinking back to what Ominis had said earlier.
“In my eyes he is no better than my parents.”
The words made your insides twist and turn in a torturous manner. Ominis Gaunt, a boy that loathed his family, the same family that caused him immense trauma, choosing to live with them for the next two months rather than you and Sebastian. It spoke volumes. His best friend who he trusted implicitly, betrayed him in the most hurtful way. Disregarded his warning at every turn. On the other hand, you saw and understood why. Sebastian was desperate, desperate to help and do good. But it has left him with nothing. Only you.
Were you an idiot for staying by his side? Were you just as bad as him? Were you both bad people? It has been a question echoing around in your brain for the past few weeks now, Ominis had merely amplified it.
A tear trickled down your cheek, and you sniffed and wiped it away quickly, knowing you should be heading back.
-
You approached the edge of Feldcroft quicker than you’d expected, it appeared in the distance as nothing more than a dark opening. It was desolate now and pitch black, only the odd candle lit in a bedroom causing a faint warm glow to flicker from a window.
Your legs were aching from walking and lugging your broom back with you, you didn’t quite feel up to flying at that very moment. That or you were delaying the amount of time it would take you to get back. You weren’t sure if it was either or both.
Nothing had quietened your mind on the journey back either this time. The darkness and your own footsteps didn’t quite act as an adequate distraction from your thoughts. Your palms were sweaty from clutching your wand so tightly in your hand.
Trudging through a particularly uneven part of grass, you rejoined the dirt path that led straight into Feldcroft. Focusing on the path ahead and able to see the Sallow house, very suddenly, a dark shape darted rapidly out of the corner of your eye, causing you to gasp and spin towards the movement. Your eyes scanned around, heart thumping in your chest as you desperately strained to see in the dark. Your hands were almost shaking.
One of the Dark Wizard dummies had, for some reason, decided to re centre itself. You sighed, your shoulders visibly relaxing as you set your wand down.
Merlin, how could you be so stupid? Merely weeks ago you were fighting Ranrok in his deadliest form, and now you were being startled by a training dummy.
This seemed to flick a switch.
Without a second thought, you lunged towards the training dummy and began casting. Throwing as many casts of scarlet light as you could. You yelled Accio and the offending dummy came flying forward, and you continued to blast casts at it until it was shooting backwards again. Small splinters of wood were flying through the air, spraying to the ground but you didn’t stop. Flashes of Ranrok flit through your mind. Professor Fig, laying motionless on the ground. That booming voice echoing in your skull. Professor Garlick’s screams as she, amongst the other teachers, found you and Fig. You’d refused to let go of your beloved Professor. Blast after blast hit the dummy, and you weren’t even aware you were yelling curses at it until a pair of arms wrapped themselves around you.
“Get off of me!” You yelled, panic taking over your entire body and scrambling to get away, until you heard a familiar voice.
“It’s me, it’s me. It’s okay, you’re okay.” Sebastian shushed and held onto you tight. You collapsed into him, sinking to the floor as tears streamed down your face.
“It’s okay, it’s okay.” He continued to shush you and reassure you, stroking your hair as you sobbed, your shoulders shaking from the force of your cries.
“Let’s get you inside.” Sebastian hushed, helping you to your feet. You followed him, still sobbing and shaking.
An elderly wizard dressed in silk pyjamas had popped his head out of his door to see what the noise was. Another witch wearing a striped magenta robe had done the same. Sebastian reassured them everything was fine as he hurried you back inside.
Once inside, Sebastian grabbed a thick knitted blanket and ordered you to sit on the bed. He wrapped it around your shoulders tightly.
“What happened? Are you okay? Who hurt you?” Sebastian fired questions at you, but you shook your head.
“No-No-one.” You cried through strangled sobs.
“Then what is it darling? What’s wrong?” Sebastian dropped to his knees in front of you, and placed his hands on yours. At first, you couldn’t speak. How could you form an answer? There were so many things you could say were ‘wrong’. Nothing felt right anymore. You decided that was your answer.
“Everything’s wrong.” You croaked through small sobs.
“I know, I know.” Sebastian whispered softly. “Is this to do with Professor Fig?”
You couldn’t meet his eye, your own eyes red and puffy. You nodded slowly, taking a deep breath to try and calm your sobs.
“Oh sweetheart, I’m so sorry.” Sebastian paused for a second as he traced circles on your palm with his thumb, attempting to calm your intense sobs. “Professor Fig was wonderful, and I know he was a great mentor to you. He would be so proud of you if he could see you today.” Sebastian continued, softly.
Your gaze flicked to his at his words, your cries subsiding slightly but you were still shaking.
“I just, I miss him. It wasn’t right and I feel like it was… it was all my fault.” You choked, the tears threatening to close your throat as quickly as you’d just tamed them.
“No, no. None of this is your fault. Please, don’t ever think that. You possess an extraordinary ability that is beyond your control. If anyone’s to blame, it’s Ranrok and his lot. But you stopped it, you stopped it all.”
Sebastian’s deep brown eyes stared into yours sincerely as he spoke, his hands were still interlocked with yours.
You took a hand away for a second, going to wipe away your tears but Sebastian quickly released his grip, and brought his hands up to cup your face gently, to wipe them away for you with his thumbs. You felt your cheeks flush underneath his palms as he wiped away your plentiful tears, his eyes never leaving yours. There was a moment of silence, a comfortable silence but it hung in the air almost like a pause. A tension lingered that you could almost taste.
Sebastian cleared his throat and removed his hands gently, before returning them to intertwine with your palms.
“How long have you been feeling like this?” He asked,
“Since it all happened, really. I haven't been sleeping.” You confessed quietly.
“Oh, Y/N, I wish you would’ve said something.”
“I know but you’ve got your own issues to deal with. I thought I’d be fine, truly. It just seems to have gotten the better of me tonight.”
“That’s understandable, especially if you’ve been bottling it up. Merlin, I feel so stupid that I didn’t notice before that it was something more serious.” Sebastian scowled at himself.
“Don’t be daft, I’m good at keeping things close without even meaning to sometimes.” You said, earnestly.
Sebastian got to his feet after being knelt in front of you, and gestured you to do the same. Once you were standing, blanket still draped over your shoulders, he pulled you into a tight embrace, your head buried into the crook of his neck and his hand resting on the back of your head.
You felt your entire body relax at his touch, and sighed as a tear trickled down your face but this time it was from relief. Relief of sharing even a part of your struggle, and from feeling Sebastian’s touch. You breathed in his scent and it made you dizzy, but equally it was entirely comforting.
He kissed the top of your head before releasing you from his hug, and you blushed scarlet.
“I was just about to get ready for bed but I was getting worried, I wasn’t going to sleep until I knew you were home safe.” Sebastian murmured.
“I’m sorry, I should’ve been back sooner.” You apologised quietly.
“No, no don’t apologise. I am rather tired now though. Would you like me to get you anything before I turn in for the evening?” Sebastian continued through stifled yawns. You shook your head and thanked him, you were still inches apart after hugging.
“Of course, if you can’t sleep or need anything please, please just wake me.”
“I will.” You lied, and with that, the Sallow boy crossed the room to his bed in the corner.
A comfortable silence fell, and you decided to shrug off your robes and follow suit. You may as well get comfortable, even if you knew peaceful sleep wasn’t in the picture.
As your robes dropped onto the bed, you turned about to kick your boots off and briefly saw Sebastian unbuttoning his shirt to expose his bare chest, causing you to look away quickly.
“No peeking.” He smirked, pulling the curtain that allowed for some privacy across his chest. You blushed scarlet again, and shook your head looking away.
“Wouldn’t dream of it.” You muttered, a small smile forming on your lips as you turned away.
It didn’t take long for Sebastian to drop off to sleep. He bid you goodnight from behind his curtain and within a few minutes, gentle snores filled the room. You got as comfortable and as cosy as you could, and surprisingly, the low sound of Sebastian’s snores mixed with exhaustion from the day, allowed you to nod off within good time.
-
You jolted with a start, the covers flying to the side as you shot up out of bed, your neck and face clammy with cold sweat. Nightmares, once again. Breathing heavily, you swallowed thickly as it took you a moment to register that you weren’t waking in your dorm. Your brain caught up as you took in the surroundings of the dark Sallow house. The only light being emitted was that of faint moonlight, that cast a glowing slither of light through the middle of the room. Wiping your forehead gently, you tried to mull over what you’d been dreaming about. This one was slipping away fast however, and you were grateful for the fact. You guessed it would be the same as all the others, Ranrok. Fig. Screaming.
You adjusted the covers, settling and laying back down on your back. Staring up at the ceiling, you noticed something, there was a complete absence of sound. It felt eerie more than peaceful, Sebastian's snoring had been somewhat of a source of comfort. Clearing your throat gently, you hesitated before calling out into the darkness.
“Sebastian?” Your voice was barely more than a whisper.
“Mmm?” His voice hummed from the other side of the room, and he sounded wide awake.
“You’re awake?” You whispered.
“You’ve been talking in your sleep.” He said, softly. You closed your eyes in a mix of embarrassment and guilt, sighing rather deeply.
“Oh Merlin, I’m so sorry.”
“No, don’t apologise. it’s fine. I was debating whether or not to come and wake you. You said you hadn’t been sleeping well so I didn’t want to disturb you but… you also sounded as if you were having a nightmare.” Sebastian said.
“I was.” You replied, quietly before adding, “What was I saying?”
“A lot of it was incomprehensible. Lots of muttering.” Sebastian replied, and you heard him shuffle in his bed.
There was a pause, and you didn’t know why, but you found yourself beginning to sob again, silently. Tears trickled down your cheeks and pooled onto the pillow supporting your head. Your chest hollowed as you tried to stifle your sobs.
“Sebastian?” You croaked, trying to sound as normal as possible.
“Hmm?” He hummed once again in response.
“Can you just… Can I join you?” You stammered, tears still streaming down your cheeks.
A gentle shuffling sound filled the room all of a sudden and Sebastian had swung out of bed, whipping the curtain back, his eyes finding you immediately.
“Oh sweetheart, of course.” Sebastian sighed, opening his arms as he sat on the side of his bed. You shuffled over, hugging yourself as the cool night air made your skin prickle.
You gladly almost fell into his arms, letting him pull you into a tight embrace. To your surprise, Sebastian pulled you back onto the bed, causing you to squeal a little in shock as he let out a low laugh.
“Sorry.” He said, with a grin that told you he wasn't in the slightest. His face lingered inches from yours as he’d laid down whilst pulling you towards him, meaning you were hovering over him as he lay.
Gradually, that wide grin faded, your smile faltering also, as the reality hit the pair of you that you were inches away from each other. You almost weren’t breathing as you gazed into his dark eyes, that flickered slightly in the moonlit room. A hand that was resting on your hip moved up your back, and rested on the back of your head softly, his fingers brushing through your hair. Your eyes threatened to close at the relaxing feeling of Sebastian's fingers in your hair. The same hand made its way round to cup your cheek. His palm was warm, comforting. You breathed in and all you could smell was him, and maybe that’s why you found yourself leaning forward and closing the small gap between you. Your lips connected and Sebastian immediately kissed you back. Your entire body felt as if it had been set alight, every nerve ending on fire and your cheeks flushing red as you kissed the boy you’d been longing for for so long.
He pulled away first, your faces still inches apart and his palm still cupping your face.
“You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to do that.” He said, lowly. Your eyes flit between his.
“Me too.” You breathed, and your chest swelled with a bubbly warm feeling. It was the most at ease you’d felt in months. You shuffled slightly so that you were now at his side in the bed, squeezing into the corner and he chuckled as you fought with the covers. Settling, you nuzzled your head into his chest and he absentmindedly began running a hand through your hair again, before placing a kiss on top of it.
“Goodnight, Sebastian.”
“Goodnight, Y/N.”

Study Buddies
For the Anon who requested : Hello! Do you think you could do a fic where the reader is part of Draco's gang and everything and the reader and hermione are both like super smart and competing for top student? They like have it out for each other and always try to beat the other in everything, but then a professor assigns them to a project together and now they have to work with each other and get along somehow? sorry, I just thought it was a cute enemies to lovers idea!
Hermione Granger x Reader
“Can anyone tell me how to cast the Blue Sparks Charm?” Professor Flitwick asked the class and two hands automatically shot into the air.
“Ms. Granger was first.” You scowled darkly at the girl from your spot next to Draco, and he smirked slightly.
“You need to be faster.”
“Shut up.”
“I’m just trying to help,” Draco snickered. You glared at him, shaking your head before mumbling something under your breath, “Hm?” Draco prodded.
“I said, you’re not helping.” You muttered, resting your head on your hand, continuing to glare at the back of the girl in the front of the classroom. It wasn’t fair! She was so smart and it all just came to her, and you had to work your butt off to be as smart as you were. Class was dismissed and you made sure she saw you glare as she and her friends left the classroom, before you and Draco exited as well, flanked by Crabbe and Goyle.
You walked some distance behind them, but close enough that they could hear you when you spoke next.
“I bet she writes the answers on her arm before class,” You joked, your friends laughed, and you watched as the girl’s shoulders tensed up.
“It’s the only way,” Crabbe agreed eagerly.
“It’s because her smarts are the only thing she has,” Draco added, “When you look like that-” You elbowed Draco giving him the ‘too far’ look. You watched as the girl quickened her pace, practically running from you. You felt sorta bad about it, but not enough to do anything.
A few weeks later you were back in Charms and Flitwick was explaining some project that he was assigning, you listened intently, taking notes like you always did.
“I will be picking your partners based on skill level,” He announced and you hand faltered. Skill level? You glanced over at Draco. He was your best friend but he wasn’t the best at charms. Maybe he would be pairing good students with the bad ones? A girl could dream, but that dream was quickly squashed.
“Malfoy and Tarzdan,” He started, you frowned. There goes your first choice. Flitwick kept listing names and you watched helplessly as kids got up and partnered up, and the students left dwindled. “Y/L/N and Granger,” Your eyes widened. Her head snapped back as she stared at you with wide eyes over her shoulder. /Fuck/.
You got up, dragging your feet, going to stand beside the girls desk. She moved her bag and allowed you to sit, and you collapsed into the chair with a grunt. Hermione crossed her arms over her chest, obviously annoyed by the predicament you found yourself in.
“I want this done perfectly.” She stated, like you did anything less than perfect ever. You glowered. “So don’t take my grade from an O to a E, got it?”
“Got it?” You mocked, rolling your eyes. “Listen princess,” You sat up slightly straighter, “I don’t half ass anything. I haven’t gotten less than an O on any assignment, I’m not starting now. I don’t like you.” She glared, “And I know you don’t like me,” She huffed and you smirked, “So let’s just get this done as fast and efficiently as possible so we can be done with this nonsense.”
“Fine,”
“That’s all you’ve got?”
“What do you want me to say to your little speech?” She spat, “Yes ma’am?” You smirked again, unrolling a piece of parchment and grabbing a quill.
“That will do, princess.”
“Stop calling me that,” She demanded and you laughed, rolling your eyes openly at the girl. You worked in mostly silence for the duration of the class, each collecting your own set of notes, occasionally breaking the hostile silence to point out something before the other girl had the chance.
“Meet me in the library, 8 pm. Don’t make me wait on you,” Hermione demanded when class ended, scooping up her stuff. You did the same, shrugging.
“I’ll get there when I get there, thanks for the suggestion though.” Hermione glared at you openly, before turning on her heel and storming away. You walked over to Draco who looked like Christmas came early.
“Having fun with your partner?” He teased, and you shook your head.
“Nope, you?” Draco smirked widely.
“I have a feeling we’ll be snogging more than studying,” He admitted and you shoved him playfully.
“You’re a pig.” He laughed, nudging you back. You spent the rest of the day in the common room, dreading 8 pm. You didn’t want to take the walk all the way to the library, and you definitely didn’t want to spend your time with Hermione Granger. Finally the time to leave came, you suffered through several more jokes from Draco before finally leaving- you arrived 5 minutes late- just to piss her off.
“You’re late.” It worked.
“So sorry,” You drawled, “I got busy,”
“Let’s just get to work,” She slammed the book open. Again you worked in silence, only occasionally broken by one of you showing the other something in your book.
“That’s not useful,” Hermione snapped at you, pushing the book back towards you, you glared.
“Says you,” You shoved it back towards her. “Just read the entire bloody paragraph before you open your big trap.” Hermione snatched the book from your hand, reading it over again before shrugging.
“I guess.” You snorted, jotting down a few notes.
“Whatever you say, princess.” She shut her own book and rubbed her eyes.
“I told you not to call me that,” You grinned cheekily, leaning back in your chair with a small shrug.
“I like it,”
“You’re... You’re..”
“Brilliant, stunning, absolutely spectacular,”
“A bitch,” She finished, packing her things away, “No way we’re finishing this tonight. Tomorrow at the same time?” You shrugged again, watching her stand and grab her bag.
“Alright,” You agreed.
“Goodnight.” She muttered, turning to stalk out of the library.
“Night,” You muttered back once she was already gone.
So the next evening you found yourself walking up to the same table in the library, 5 minutes late.
“You’re late,”
“I know,” You grinned, sitting down, she rolled her eyes at you, book already open to where she had left off the night before.
“You’re-”
“A bitch?” You supplied, sitting down, pulling your own book out. “I know,”
“I was going to say impossible. That works too,” You laughed at that and Hermione managed to crack a small grin. You smiled smugly at that, maybe she wasn’t such a robot. After a few hours of working, with slightly more back and forth this time, Hermione rubbed her eyes and closed her book again.
“Tomorrow same time?”
“Can’t, I have detention,” You shrugged, “And you’re not getting me here on a Friday night, sorry. Saturday after lunch?” You offered and she looked at you disapprovingly. “What?”
“Detention? For what?” You chuckled, packing up your bag.
“Being late to potions,” You admitted.
“Are you always late?”
“I make it a habit.” You nodded, watching as Hermione slung her back over her shoulder, standing. “Have you ever had a detention, princess?”
“No.” She huffed indignantly. “You shouldn’t either, you’re far too... smart for that. I thought you took pride in your education.”
“Sure I do, I like being the best,” You grinned, she glowered. “Doesn’t mean I don’t like to have fun too,”
“And being late is fun?”
“Being late /because/ of fun,” You corrected, “It does happen, you’d know if you ever lightened up a bit.” Hermione shook her head at you, muttered her goodnight and once again you watched her back as she rushed from the room. Odd girl.
Friday flew by, detention dragged on, and eventually Saturday rolled around. When Hermione got to your usual table in the library you were already sitting there, lounging back in the chair, playing with your quill.
“You’re early,” She commented lightly as she sat down beside you at the table, you leaned back slightly further in the chair, letting it tilt back onto two legs.
“Figured I was due for a change.” You joked and she chuckled slightly, taking her book out.
“A good change,” She spoke softly, and you allowed your chair to fall back forward onto all four legs.
“So where were we?” You went back to studying and writing out the parameters of your project, the written, oral, and wand portions. But you had an additional goal; making Hermione laugh. You were convinced she never laughed, she was too stuck up. You were doing a pretty spot on impression of Flitwick, and Hermione was smirking down at her book.
“Why don't you laugh?” You asked, finally, poking the girls arm, she rubbed the spot like you had put something on her.
“I laugh, why don’t you be funny?” She asked, and you let out a low chuckle.
“See you can be funny,” You encouraged her and she blushed slightly.
“Who said I couldn’t be?” She asked, glancing up at you. You held her gaze, Hermione quickly looked away, “Anyway, I think we did enough for today. See you Monday night? 8 pm?” She offered and you frowned slightly, nodding. Hermione stood up and went to walk away but you said her name, stopping her.
“Why don’t you like me?” You asked, curiously, leaning forward slightly. She shuffled from foot to foot, looking anywhere but you.
“You’re mean to me,”
“I’m not that mean! And you didn’t like me before I started to tease you, don’t lie.” Hermione glanced at you, shrugging her shoulders before turning to leave, leaving the question hanging in the air.
Two more nights of studying passed, you were almost finished the project and it looked like perfection in your humble opinion. Every night you spoke more and more, mostly you prodding the girl with questions.  She answered them with more and more words each time you asked, but you didn’t ask her again why she didn’t like you.
Wednesday night you were wrapping up, putting the finishing touches on your work, making sure it was beyond O worthy.
“Who do you usually study with?” Hermione asked suddenly and you shrugged, sitting back to look at the girl.
“Draco mostly, but he’s useless.” You admitted, “Less studying more... getting on my nerves.” She chuckled.
“Ron and Harry are the same, I barely get work done with them, and I have to help them so much,”
“Boys are stupid, there brains are full of flobberworms.” Shr laughed again and you grinned happily.
“That is true.” She was quiet for a moment, playing with the sleeve of her jumper.
“What’s up?” You pushed, and she shrugged.
“I was just thinking, we do study well together. I bet everyone else isn’t even halfway done by now,”
“I think that’s being generous,” You joked and she nodded seriously.
“Maybe we should study again, together?” She said it like a question, and you considered her proposition for a minute.
“We’re rivals. We both want to be the best.” You reminded her and she nodded again.
“Yes, but we can, I don’t know, push each other. I...” She trailed off, clearing her throat, “Enjoy your company, I suppose. You’ve grown on me.”
“Like mold,”
“Just like mold.” She agreed, laughing.
“We can study together,” You decided, “It’ll help us both I think.” Hermione offered you a genuine smile, and you couldn’t help but to think she was pretty when she smiled.
“Brilliant. Same time tomorrow?”
“I’ll be here at 8:05,” You promised and she chuckled, rolling her eyes.
“Of course you will,” She packed her pack and stood up, waving awkwardly at you.
“Goodnight, Y/N.”
“Night princess.” And for once she didn’t glare or scowl or tell you not to call her that, she just blushed slightly before turning and leaving the library. Maybe Hermione Granger wasn’t so bad.

request here.
Fred grabs your hips, aligning them while riding his length. As he thrusts into you, your prized Slytherin tie is strewn about along with your undershirt, leaving you bare in front of Fred.
Fred had just finished Quidditch practice, and after some teasing and joking you got yourself tangled up, and now you were pinned against the wall in the broom closed. You can smell the grass and sweat off of him as he kisses your neck, feeling the purple forming on your skin.
"You like it like this, love?" Fred whispers in your ear, causing you to shiver.
"Yes-" your breath hitches as Fred hits your g-spot over and over again.
"Yes?" Fred chuckles before pounding into you, forcing your to hit hard against the wall. "I'm going to fuck you into you're screaming my name."
You whimper out a mixture of real fear and arousal. You can feel yourself approaching your limit, coming closer and closer with ever move Fred makes.
Your back arches and Fred's grunts push you further into ecstasy. Your nails dig deep into his back, knowing of the semi-permanent crescent indents you're making in his skin.
"F-fu-fuck," you scream as Fred pushes your hips farther down his cock, feeling his erection inside of you, your walls begin to collapse.
"Scream my name Y/N," Fred grunts, knocking himself somehow deeper into your heat, completely destroying your pussy. "Scream my fucking name."
"Fr-" you start, your head beginning to lean back, however, as Fred's name begins to escape your lips, the door of the broom closet is thrown open.
You and Fred freeze, any type of arousal immediately washing away.
Your eyes widen as your father walks into the closet, kicking at your green tie.
Fred smoothly removes you and you can barely hold yourself together. Your body was desperate to release itself and at the same time you could scarcely stand up. You were holding tight onto Fred's arm for necessary support.
The layer of discomfort thickens as dead silence makes its away around the closet. Your cheeks heat up with embarrassment as Fred's eyes wander the room, looking anywhere but at your father.
Your father takes in a seething breath before speaking, "100 points from Gryffindor. Mr Weasley, put some clothes on," his breath hitches for a moment as his eyes move to lay on you. "You as well, Miss Snape."
With that your father slams the closet door close and you take in a deep inhale before tossing your clothes back on.
You had to speak to him before things got even worse.
Ignoring Fred you hobble out of the broom closet, your father was a good ways ahead of you, but you could manage, as you knew where he was headed.
With every step your thighs rubbed together creating a friction expanding to your heat which tempted you with lust. You did your best to ignore it.
Eventually you push through students to get yourself to your fathers office, scrambling to get there in time.
"Dad," you manage through heavy breaths, slamming the office door behind you.
Your father stands at his desk, facing away from you.
"Y/N," he says your name coldly, and you can feel the displeasure surrounding you in the room.
"I'm sorry dad. I am- I know- I just-" You couldn't seem to put together a sentence that wouldn't push you further into humiliation.
Your father takes a loud inhale before turning to face you. You can't study his expression to figure out what he's about to say. It was almost always like that.
Your father blinks at you before speaking, almost as if he didn't recognize you, "You have class soon."
"I- I do," you mutter, that being the only response available in your mind in time.
He then moves towards you and you aren't sure what to do. You choose to stand still, blinking and watching to see waht happens next.
All he does is un-loop your tie and redo it.
He tightens the knot before flattening out the bottom fabric.
"Don't be late," he almost grins, motioning out the door.
"I won't," you smile, feeling better that there was nothing strange in-between the two of you.
You exit his office and when you take a small glance backward, your father presses his lips together to form a thin line. Just as he notices your gawking you are quick to turn back around.
The office doors close soundlessly behind you and you take a shaky breath before continuing to walk. Your pussy still was desperate for Fred's dick, unfortunately in your case.
"Miss Snape," you hear Fred's taunt as he approaches you, ruffling your hair.
You roll your eyes before smacking his head, having to go on your tip toes to reach him.
"You're the worst," you grumble, crossing your arms dramatically with juvenility.
"Don't worry love, I'll have you screaming my name tonight," he whisper in your ear and you can feel the warmth of his breath on your neck, which sends shivers down your spine.

Draco Malfoy x Slytherin!reader
Thank you so much for all the love I’ve received from the last parts. I really appreciate it, loves!!! Sorry for the delay on part three, I had a bunch of school stuff to do. However, here is the third part for my story, that I still haven’t managed to find a title for, because I didn’t know it was going to be successful what so ever. Anyways thank you so much. If you want to be a part of the taglist comment or send me a message. Enjoy babes. Warning: swearing, smut. There’s kinda a little Fred Weasley x read as well, I got a soft spot for him, sorry haha
It was the night of the Yule ball. A pretty stressful night. You and the girls were getting ready in your dorm. It had been five days since you confronted Draco. You haven’t spoken since. You knew he was angry with you for choosing one of the Weasley twins in stead of him. You didn’t even know which of them it was.
“Y/N, can you zip me up?”
Pansy yelled from the bathroom. You walked into it, seeing her in a beautiful champagne ballgown. You smiled at her as she held her hair up so you could zip her dress up.
“You look gorgeous.”
You said. She smiled and looked you up and down. Her eyes widened as she took you in.
“By Salazar, Y/N! You look like a goddess.”
You smiled as you looked yourself in the mirror. Pansy was right. You looked so pure, but still so devilish. Your emerald green silk dress, was hugging every crevice of your body. It had a open back, which almost showed the top of your bum, leaving very little to the imagination. It also had a long slit, stopping almost at your hip. It made your entire body look heavenly, no matter what angle you looked at yourself from.
“Thank you.”
Pansy nodded.
“I’m sure mr. Weasley is having some fun tonight.”
She winked at you.
“Merlin, Pansy.”
The two of you giggled before you grabbed your wand and checked your lipstick before yelling after Daphne.
“Daphne! Come on, we’re leaving!”
And with that said the three of you walked out of the dorm.
Daphne and Pansy walked in first, deciding to leave the best part for last. When you stepped out, everyone started staring at you. Even the professors adored the way you looked. It was as if the entire school got quiet, just to capture your beauty. You saw Pansy hit Theodore in the arm, due to the fact that he was practicing drooling over the sight of you. You smirked as you saw the Weasley twins both looking at you in awe. You walked over to them.
“So, which one of you is my date?”
“Me!”
They both said at the same time. You giggled. Another girl came up to them.
“Hi, George.”
She said. You looked at her. She was no where near as beautiful as you. You didn’t know who she were, and weren’t planning on knowing her either. She managed to drag George away from you, after he had payed little to no attention to the girl.
“So you must be Fred then.”
He smirked.
“At your service.”
You smiled as you took his arm, walking into the great hall.
“You look stunning tonight by the way.”
He bowed down and said. You looked up at the tall figure.
“You don’t look too bad yourself.”
You said. You looked around. Taking in all the gorgeous decorations. The atmosphere was simply amazing. You saw Draco. He was standing with Blaise and Millicent. He scowled at you as you pulled Fred even closer. Dumbledore started talking. You didn’t pay attention to anything he said. As you and Draco had a full on staring contest. At least it felt like it.
“Do you wanna dance?”
Fred suddenly asked, smiling from ear to ear. You smiled back and nodded enthusiastically, before taking one last look at Draco. The two of you walked to the dance floor. You made sure to pick a spot where Draco could see you. Before you stopped. Fred placed his hands on your waist, pulling you closer as you put your hands on his shoulders.
“Have I told you that you’re beautiful?”
You giggle at him.
“Yes, quite a lot actually.”
He smiled.
“I have a question.”
You nodded to signalise that he could go on.
“Why did you say yes to me?”
You tried to hide your expression as you were taken by surprise. You couldn’t answer that you said yes because you wanted to make Draco jealous. That would’ve been just mean.
“Ever since Malfoy’s birthday party I’ve wanted to get to know you. Make up for the fact that I just left you, you know. Is that bad?”
He let out a small laugh.
“No no, it’s just I didn’t think someone like you, wanted to get to know someone like me.”
You furrowed your brows.
“What do you mean?”
You did know what he meant, but adding on to the ‘innocent’ role could serve you well in the future.
“Well, you’re a Slytherin. I’m pretty sure your family and friends would despise me even touching you right now.”
You giggle at him. Of course he was right. When you told Pansy and Daphne they were shocked that you even dared to say yes to a Gryffindor. If you were to tell your parents about it, they would’ve probably not talked to you for at least a month.
“Quite honestly Fred. I don’t give a fuck about what my friends think. I don’t mind your house, and I don’t think you mind mine either.”
He tried to hide the blush that was creeping onto his face.
“I don’t mind you, that’s for sure.”
You could feel him pulling you slightly closer. You knew Draco was watching. You could feel his eyes burning into you. You places your hands on Fred’s chest. Grabbing his collar and pulling him closer. You got on your toes to meet his lips. He was a great kisser, something that was surprising to you. You pulled away as you felt someone tapping your shoulder. You smirked thinking it was Draco. But your face suddenly switched as you saw the bloke that stood before you.
“Hello, Y/N.”
You looked back at Fred who was confused to why Cormac Mclaggen, a fellow Gryffindor was talking to you.
“What do you want?”
You coldly asked, wanting him to get as far away from you as possible.
“Just a word with you, if I may.”
You looked him up and down quickly.
“You may not.”
You answered while grabbing harder around Fred’s shoulders. Cormac opened his mouth about to say something.
“I think she made it pretty clear, mate.”
He said, sensing your literal fear for him. Cormac looked at you one last time before walking away. You turned slowly around to face Fred again.
“What was that?”
He asked, you could hear the compassion in his voice. You sighed.
“It’s a long story.”
He cupped your face making you look up at him.
“Let’s forget about him, alright? You’re supposed to have fun. Don’t let that bloody idiot ruin that.”
He said, you smiled at him. You’d never had anyone show so much compassion for you.
“You’re right.”
He let go of your face.
“Of course I am.”
You laughed. Genuinely.
The two of you had a wonderful night. Dancing and casually drinking from a bottle Fred had managed to smuggle in. The two of you were sitting outside, as you had complained about it being too hot.
“I’ve had an amazing night, Freddie.”
He looked over at you.
“I’m so great full that I were able to spend my night with the most kind, beautiful and smart Slytherin in the entire school.”
You playfully pushed his shoulder.
“Oh stop it, you’re too drunk to talk.”
“I’m serious.”
You looked at him. His eyes were serious. Totally serious.
“Well thanks.”
You said, as you blushed.
“It’s getting late, I should probably get to sleep.”
You stood up from the bench the two of you shared.
“I’ll follow you to your dorm.”
He said, standing up as well and putting a hand on your shoulder.
“Oh no, I’ll be fine.”
“Are you sure?”
You nodded before looking into his eyes. He leaned towards you, wanting to kiss you again. But you dodged it, making him place a kiss upon your cheek instead. He looked surprised when he pulled back.
“You’re a good friend and all, but...”
It got quiet as you tried to find words that would make sense.
“It’s fine, I get it.”
You smiled at him as he blushed even more. You kissed his cheek before turning around and starting to walk towards the castle.
“Y/N! Thanks by the way. I’ll see you around yeah?”
You smiled at his attempt on saying goodbye.
“Of course.”
You turn around again, successfully making it into the castle.
“There you are!”
You heard a voice call out. You turned around seeing Mclaggen. Leaning on a wall, like he’d been waiting for you.
“You again.”
You scowl at him.
“I must say, you look amazing tonight. You’re all I’ve been thinking about, you know. I’m sure you’re amazing in bed.”
You looked him up and down.
“You’re disgusting.”
He laughed.
“Do you have time to talk, darling?”
He asked, pushing himself off the wall.
“No.”
You said, crossing your arms to seem more confident as he approached.
“Where are you going then? What’s your plan, if you’re so busy?”
You were about to open your mouth as a hand grabbed your waist.
“She’s spending the night with me, she doesn’t have time for Gryffindor losers as yourself.”
A familiar voice said. Draco. You looked up at him, as he was holding a tight grip around you, making sure you weren’t leaving.
“Are you really?”
Cormac asked you, deciding to not meet Draco’s stone cold eyes. You nodded.
“Yeah.”
“Good night then.”
Cormac gave you one last look before walking away. Draco didn’t let go of you.
“Thank you.”
Was all you managed to say. He finally looked down at you.
“I’m serious you know.”
“What do you mean.”
He looked you up and down.
“About you spending the night with me.”
You let out a breathy laugh.
“I’m so tired Draco, not tonight.”
You said as you tried to walk away. He grabbed your hip carefully.
“It wasn’t a question.”
The next thing you know, you’re in his prefect dorm taking off your makeup. You stepped out of the bathroom looking at him. He was laying on his bed, casually reading. He didn’t seem to pay attention to you at all. You sighed. And decided to take off your dress. Trying to spice things up a little bit, and make him hopefully look at you at least. You were left in just your knickers, as you weren’t able to wear a bra, due to the low back on your dress. He didn’t seem to pay attention at all.
“So, what are we gonna do on this sleepover? Eat snacks and do each other’s makeup?”
You said, leaning onto the doorframe. He didn’t look up at you. He just snickered, continuing reading his book.
“I don’t think that...”
He said as he looked up, not being able to finish his sentence. He scanned your body up and down. How gorgeous you looked, standing in his room. With the moonlight hitting your skin, and the sheer light from the candle on his nightstand. It was all he had ever dreamt off.
“Did someone steal your tongue, Malfoy?”
You teased, starting to walk over to him. His eyes were still on you.
“Fuck.”
He said as you climbed into his bed. His hand touched your hip, as you stood on your knees almost straddling him.
“You’re gonna be the death of me, Y/N.”
You smirked at him, he looked at you like you were an angel. You positioned yourself on top of him. Running your hands over his bare neck.
“You think so?”
You said as you grinded against the tent that was slowly forming in his trousers. He groaned.
“Don’t test me.”
He mumbled, as he grabbed your hips.
“Fine, I won’t.”
You said as you climbed of him, stepping out of bed again.
“What are you doing?”
He asked once you had stood up completely. You looked at him with puppy eyes. While removing your knickers slowly in front of him.
“I’m just testing you.”
You said and giggled walking over to the bathroom again. Leaving the door open, as you stepped into the shower. Letting the water hit your body. You could hear him fumbling around outside the bathroom. Then all of a sudden the fumbling stopped. You couldn’t hear him at all. You looked behind you once you heard a belt buckle hit the tile floor. He was getting undressed. You smirked at the sight of him. How naive he was, and how you could take advantage of that. You leaned against the wall, making space for him as he climbed in. He got up close to you. Grabbing your hips and pulling you closer. He kissed you, lightly at first. Trying to see if that’s what you wanted. When he got the answer he wanted, the lust took over him. And the kiss turned into a passionate war, between the two of you. He pulled away for a split second, only to reattach to your neck. He got up to your ear and nibbled on it before whispering in a deep voice.
“Get on your knees.”
Your breath hitched as he said so. Your breathing got heavy as you felt yourself getting more and more turned on by the man in front of you. How the water made his blonde hair look. And how the hair plastered itself onto his skin. You had a sudden burst of confidence.
“No.”
You hissed, before slightly pushing him off. He quickly took a hold of your neck, pushing you further up the wall.
“Get on your fucking knees, you brat!”
He quickly let go again, making you fall to your knees. You could sense he was over your teasing. You took a hold of his rock hard member and placed a kiss on it. He groaned at the sudden contact, making you smirk.
“Stop fucking teasing, Y/N.”
He said before grabbing your hair and slamming himself into your mouth. You chocked as his dick hit the back of your throat with force. He kept going at a high speed. Tears were starting to form in the corner of your eyes. They blended in with the warm shower water, dripping down the both of you. He let go of your hair as you started bobbing your head up and down. He leaned back against the wall, letting you do the job.
“Just like that.”
He said as you could feel him getting closer and closer to his orgasm. All of a sudden you felt his dick twitch in your mouth as he came. You helped him ride out his high, before you pulled away and made sure to swallow every last drop.
“Good girl.”

Parties
Pairing: Sirius Black + reader
Word count: 1296 (I think I'm really loving these short and fluffy one shots)
Summary: You and Sirius fool around (not sexually) at a pureblood party
Warnings: light and funny hits and smacks, and nothing else I believe but lmk if you notice anything I didn't
Hey! If you think this didn't completely suck, feel free to check out my masterlist.
Tumblr media
"On a scale of one to ten, how likely is it that one of the dads is going to get drunk and go off the hook?"
"Is there a number above ten that I can use?"
"No."
"Then ten, like you even have to ask." I reply with a grin at the absurd question. Every time there's a party one of the dads get drunk and off the hook, last time it was Avery Sr. His wife had to pull him off the table. I ask, "The question isn't if, it's who."
"Avery." Sirius replies looking at the man, smiling, no doubt picturing his red face wife trying to pull him down the table where he's swinging his tie on. I scoff, "Two times in a row? No way. I think Mrs. Avery has him drinking apple juice tonight."
"Well then who do you think it is?" Sirius asks, and I hum. I look around the room, looking for the older men. Mulciber has been drinking a lot tonight, but he's talking to Malfoy which means business so no way it's him. Then I hit the jackpot. I grin and say, "Your father."
"My father? No way, he's never gone crazy ever." Sirius scoffs and leans back in his chair. I lean closer to his side and start to explain as I fix my eyes to Mr. Black. I explain, "He's gone flushed, and he's not talking anymore which means that he knows that he's going to slur on his words, and he's already taken off his jacket."
"I think you're an idiot and that it's going to be Nott." Sirius says, and I punch him in the arm for calling me and idiot, then shake my head. I tut, "I don't think so-" I say in a sing-songy voice, then continue, "He holds his alcohol well."
"No, he doesn't. A few years ago, he was made a mess." Sirius says, but I still don't agree. I grab my drink from the table, and take a tiny sip before saying, "That was because he had signed the divorce papers from his first wife that morning, other wise he never would have drank so much."
"I still think he's a better guess than my father." Sirius says, rolling his eyes. He hates talking about his father, and he is absolutely right, he's a horrible man. I fold my arms and then suggest, "Alright, what do you want to bet on- and not money, merlin knows we both have enough of that already."
Sirius hums in thought, as he thinks of ideas. One of the perks of being in a pureblood family is the insane amount of money carried from one generation to another, one of the faults, the tedious parties, Sirius makes them better though. He clicks his fingers and I can almost see a light bulb go off in his head. He starts, "A kiss-"
"I already give you those-"
"And a date where I control everything." Sirius grins, and I groan, and cover my face with my hands. I groan, "But you're going to pick a shit place, like madam puddifoot's or something other absurd café."
"If you're scared that you'll lose, I can change it." Sirius taunts, and I look back at Mr. Black and he's already loosening his tie. I grin then hold out my hand to him. I say, "You're on."
Sirius takes my hand, shakes it one time with a firm grip, then hauls me close to him to give me a kiss on the cheek. I yelp, and then put my hand on his thigh to stabilize me enough to go back to sitting properly in my seat. I smack his thigh. Merlin knows what my mother would've done if she saw that.
"And if I win, I want full control over your hair for a month." I say, and watch that smirk of his fade away instantly. He grabs his hair, desperately and shakes his head. He says, "No way, that's same value as one date."
"If you're scared that you'll lose, I can change it." I say in a deeper voice, imitating him and saying his exact words. He gives me a glare, but folds his arms and pouts in his seat. I chuckle at his reaction.
The music is quiet, it's only the voices of chatter that really fill up the room. I look all around the room and notice that Regulus is with one of his friends chatting about something, I recognize the friend as Evan Rosier. Sirius taps my shoulder to interrupt my train of thought.
"Wanna get out of here?" He asks, and he already knows my answer because I soon as I say yes, he's already got my hand in his hand. He stands up, and we look around each of us making sure that none of our family members can see us.
Sirius leads me out of the room and into a corridor. This is Nott Sr.'s house, we knew only bits of it. We get out of the room, and Sirius presses me against on of the walls. He kisses me feverishly and I return it with a smile. His hands caress my waist and they go up and down and up and down, driving me insane.
"so this is why you wanted to get out." I tease, and he goes back to kissing me in seconds. I can't say I'm really complaining though. He breaths out in between kisses, "Can't blame me for wanting to spend time with you."
We part for some much needed air and Sirius looks around. He sees the closest door and he goes towards it, pulling me with him. He says, "Now, what could this be? A bedroom maybe?"
He opens the door and we're meet with the clatter of pots and pains and tiny house elves moving around everywhere, trying to get dinner ready. Sirius sighs in disappointment, and he turns to leave, but I break free of his grip when I see..."Scones!"
I trail towards them and grab a few off of one of the plates that the house elves were carrying. I shoved one in my mouth, and it tasted good. Sirius grabbed one from my hands and started eating it himself. I frowned at him and his reply was poking a tongue out at me.
I finish my scone and maybe two more, then I go to sit on one of the chairs. Sirius pouts when he notices there's no chairs. He grabs me, and lifts me up. I start screaming, "Sirius Orion Black, you better put me down right now. You babbling, bumbling, baboon-"
"You're the only good thing my parents have ever done for me, and quite possibly the best thing that has ever happened to me." Sirius says in one breath to shut me up. He always does this, randomly he just spills out bursts of emotion. He feels them at random times, but Sirius has never been good at expressing emotions, so I appreciate them when they come.
He sits down and puts me on his lap. I smile at his words and lean in to press a soft kiss to his lips. Sirius parts abruptly, "Did you just call me a baboon?"
"Oh no, we need some remedies, quickly!" One of the house elves, enter quickly into the room, and the rest of them bustle quickly trying to find a remedy for whomever just got severely drunk out there. Another house elf shouts, "Who was it this time?"
"Mr. Black."
"Yes!" I shout in triumph and get off of Sirius' lap to preform a victory dance. I clap and dance around, and I point at him and grin, "Get ready to have your hair green!"
"No!"
an: maybe I am starting this marauders era for me, I'm really enjoying it too. I think I should keep writing about them for a while + Reggie of course

Warning(s): Swearing, throwing up, mentions of underage drinking & blood
Prologue|Previous Part|Next Part
Tumblr media
Stressful was definitely one of the many words to describe how the past few weeks have been. With exams and quidditch, Y/N has found herself swamped with work. Luckily she was able to keep up with her classes..except for one.
Arithmancy.
It was the one subject she just couldn’t get. Ask her to brew a potion from scratch? Y/N has that handled. Want to know the name of every star? Y/N Y/L/N’s your girl. Need help in Defense Of The Dark Arts? She’s who to call. Just not about Arithmancy.
So here she was, studying the materials for the hundredth time. Y/N had been sitting there for a good hour now and the numbers and symbols were starting to mix and blur. That was when she knew she should call it a night.
Y/N packed her things and left the library before walking through the school’s halls, half asleep. She had been up since two in the morning and it was now almost curfew. At some point, Y/N zoned out during the walk to her dorm.
I really need to stop pulling all nighte-
The Slytherin is pulled out of her trance when she feels a body knock into her.
“Hmph- '' a girl let out in front of Y/N as both their books dropped to the ground. Y/N looked down to see the brown haired girl who she bumped into. Y/N instantly recognized her to be the Gryffindor she caught staring at her during the first day back at Hogwarts.
“I’m sorry about that” Y/N said as she knelt down to pick up the fallen books.
“It’s okay.” Hermione then knelt down to help pick them up. Y/N finally looked at Hermione again when she gave the Gryffindor her book. They both stood up and there was an awkward few seconds of silence until Hermione held out her hand.
“I’m Hermione by the way. Hermione Granger” she let out, introducing herself to the Slytherin. Y/N looked at Hermione’s hand and then back to her face. “I’m Y/N, Y/N Y/L/N” she responded, taking the other girl’s hand.
“Well it’s nice to meet you Y/N. Even if it was by crashing into you” Hermione jokes which pulled a small laugh from Y/N.
“Yeah, I really ought to watch where I’m going next time,” Y/N responded back as they disconnected their hands.
Hermione looked at Y/N for a moment. As she was about to say something Y/N’s name got called causing her to turn her head. Her gaze meets a bloody nosed Link being held up by Amelia and Leo. “What the bloody hell happened?” Y/N asked with raised eyebrows.
Before Y/N went to them, they walked over to her. “Take a wild guess” Leo remarked, he was getting tired of Link’s antics. Y/N sighs and turns back to Hermione,“I gotta uh —she points back to Link— but I’ll see you around. At least I hope I do” Y/N looks Hermione up and down as she says the last part before walking away with the others.
“So let me get this straight–” Harry started as he sat down, “Y/N bumped into you, the others showed up, and she said that?”
“Yes” Hermione looked between the two boys, not sure where they were headed with this.
“She was flirting with you, Mione,” Ron simply said before biting into a chocolate frog. “Isn’t this the same girl you’ve been making googly eyes at since seco- ow!” Hermione hit Ron with the Daily Prophet before he could finish his sentence
“Be mature Ronald. I have not been making googly eyes at her. And I can’t help it if I’m a naturally observant person” Hermione claimed defensively. Ron only rolled his eyes in response before Harry cut in.
“But you fancy her, don’t you?” Harry cursorily asked Hermione. She thought for a moment before answering.
“Well, this is the first time I’ve ever even spoken to her,” Hermione responded, furrowing her eyebrows.
“Well you certainly fancy her enough to stare at her hour after hour” Ron mumbled, earning him a kick from Hermione. But it didn’t wipe the smirk off the ginger’s face.
Eventually the three went to bed, Hermione thought about the interaction over again before falling asleep.
Y/N was sound asleep, peacefully dreaming about Merlins know what. Well, that was before Amelia woke her up. “Rise and shine sleeping beauty!” Y/N only groaned in response as Amelia clapped her hands. “Come on, it’s Raine’s quidditch day. They’re up against Gryffindor.”
Y/N hesitantly lifted herself up, mumbling a few curses before finally standing up. She changed and put on the Ravenclaw scarf Lorraine had given her a few months prior.
Amelia and Y/N made it to the quidditch field and sat down in the Ravenclaw stands next to Leo and Link who waved them over. Leo was still laying into Link about the previous day. “Oh come on, it wasn’t that dumb” Link defended as Amelia and Y/N watched with amusement.
“How is attempting to do a handstand on your broom, one hundred feet in the air, while not being able to do a handstand in the first place, not dumb?” Leo asked incredulously.
“Well when you say it like that..” Link trailed off while Leo rolled his eyes in response.
“Bloody idiot” Leo mumbled, crossing his arms and leaning back in his seat.
Gryffindor won the match and they were holding a party in their common room to celebrate. The victory also meant a loss for Ravenclaw which meant comforting Lorraine. If she was anything she was serious about quidditch. It made sense considering Oliver Wood acted as her mentor when she first started out. It seemed he passed over some of his competitiveness.
When it came to parties at Hogwarts, everybody went. No matter what they were for, who lost, who won, people still showed up. Amelia asked if she was going to go but Y/N declined, not wanting “Lorraine to drown herself.”
By the time everybody left, Y/N was softly knocking on the Lorraine’s dorm door. “Go away” she heard from the other side. Y/N sighed and spoke up. “Oh come on, it's me. I even brought over some sweets I found in Link’s snack stash” Y/N said, raising the bag up as if the Ravenclaw could see it.
She heard shuffling and footsteps on the other side of the door before it opened slightly. Lorraine looked through the slither opening, looked down at the bag then at Y/N before opening the door all the way.
“Come in” Lorraine sighed before going back to her bed. “Don’t look at me like that.”
Y/N furrowed her eyebrows,“What do you mean?”
Lorraine rolled eyes before answering. “I don’t want to be comforted right now, okay? I just want to forget about the stupid match. I’m sick of the pitiful looks I’ve been getting.”
Y/N nodded in understanding, sometimes Lorraine wanted to talk and sometimes she didn’t. The Slytherin placed the bag on Lorraine’s nightstand before grabbing a few things out of it. “I made sure to swipe some of your favorites. How about a night in? Just you and me” Y/N offered.
Lorraine patted the spot next to her and Y/N happily sat on the bed. Lorraine grabbed her laptop and opened it. They spent the rest of the night watching movies and eating sweets. Eventually falling asleep.
Y/N woke up, looking at her surroundings confused before remembering where she was. She looked down to see Lorraine with her head on her chest. Y/N carefully got up while gently moving Lorraine not wanting to wake her up. She then reached into her pocket for her phone. She squeezed her eyes shut as the phone’s brightness shined at her.
There were a few messages from Amelia and Link and a couple from Leo. But being too tired, Y/N just made a mental note to reply in the morning and instantly fell back asleep. What woke her up was the sun shining through the room's window. She winced a bit from the light as she covered her face.
“Look who decided to wake up” Lorraine said as she moved around the room. “None of my roommates are back yet but they will be soon encase you wanna make a run for it” she offered.
Y/N mumbled,“Good call, Rainey” before getting out of bed. The only roommate of hers that Y/N could tolerate was Luna. Eventually she left after saying goodbye and made her way back to the Slytherin common room. Unfortunately a certain professor was waiting at the door.
“Professor Snape.”
“Y/L/N.”
“Are you aware of the time?” he asked with an unamused expression. Y/N looked at her watch then back at the professor.
“It is seven thirty six” Y/N answers, Snape humming in response.
“And do you know when curfew is?” Snape crossed his arms as he waited for a response. Y/N huffed a bit before answering. It was far too early for an interrogation.
“Ten pm” she sighed.
He was getting too old for this shit.
“Good, so you were aware of what time you had to be in your common room. You were also aware of what rules you were breaking. Twenty points from Slytherin and detention for a week, starting today.”
Snape walked away after giving her one more glare. Y/N flipped him off with his backside facing her, before heading to her dorm room. She walked in and heard somebody throwing up. Y/N went to the bathroom where it was coming from to find Amelia hunched over and puking.
“Drank too much I presume?” she rhetorically asked, not expecting her puking friend to answer that.
“Nobody likes a smartass,” Amelia replied before throwing up some more. Y/N got a water bottle then placed it on her friend’s nightstand.
After a couple of minutes, Amelia walked out of the bathroom as she wiped her mouth with a towel. Y/N gave her the water bottle,“Thanks —she took a sip— oh and you know how you’ve been struggling with Arithmancy?” Y/N hummed in response. “Found you a tutor.”
“Who is it?”
“Hermione Granger.”

The New Fifth Year
Part 3
Ominis Gaunt x f!SlytherinReader
Summary: part 3 of this little series I’ve been writing! Y/N needs somewhere to practise her spell casting away from prying eyes. Both Sebastian and Ominis have just the perfect place in mind.
Warnings: none, maybe a little angsty!
Words: 3.5k ish
Read part 2 here
Tumblr media
Your first week at Hogwarts flew by. You found most of your lessons fascinating, and had really managed to get stuck in. You’d even made a good few friends along the way.
Potions was by far your favourite class, not subject, but class. The subject you found somewhat dull, it did not peak your interest as much as say Charms did, but you were fortunately quite good at it. However, you were really starting to look forward to your two lessons a week, mainly because of the company you kept. Sebastian was great fun in that lesson, his impressions of Garreth Weasley had become almost second to none, and you’d all been placing bets on what colour he would send his cauldron that lesson.
“I’m saying a bright blue.” You’d stated confidently.
“Nope, let’s go for a nice shade of puss green.” Sebastian had added, making you scrunch your face up in disgust.
“I’ll say blue too. That’s if there’s any cauldron left by the end of the hour.” Ominis had chimed in dryly, causing you to throw your head back in laughter.
Ominis had seemed to come out of his shell more in Potions, and laughed along more with yours and Sebastian’s antics. He was still reserved, but you just put it down to him being more serious than you two about his education.
Friday you were starting another new subject, Divination. The classes had been slightly delayed due to your Professor being off sick. You’d heard rumours the Professor was one of the students' mothers, but you weren’t sure and didn’t want to go around asking for fear of coming off nosy.
The one thing you were struggling with however, was practical lessons. With very little time and space to practise, and only now joining in your fifth year, you were feeling miles behind your classmates when it came to actual spell casting. You knew you were a good witch, and book smart, but reading a book about disarming charms wasn’t the same as casting them.
Thursday evening, you and Sebastian were just finishing in Defence Against the Dark Arts class, the last class of the day. The two of you had been paired up once again for a duel, you’d managed to beat Sebastian in the first round but he got the upper hand the second. Ominis was with you too, but quickly hurried off once the bell had rang, muttering something about having to get to the Owlry. This left just you and Sebastian.
“Not bad at all there Y/N.” Sebastian complimented, as you made your way out of the classroom.
“Thank you, I just wish I had more time to practise. I feel miles behind everyone.” You said, as the two of you trotted down the marble staircase.
“Oh well..” Sebastian hesitated for a moment, as if he was weighing something up in his mind on the spot. “As it just so happens, I might be able to help you with that.” Sebastian said, coolly. And with that, he stopped at the bottom of the staircase causing an obstruction to your other classmates also leaving the lesson. You had to flatten yourself against him to allow other students to get past, much to your annoyance.
“Sebastian- what do you mean? Why did you stop?” You huffed as someone brushed the back of your bag trying to get past.
Sebastian didn’t say anything, he just raised his eyebrows and his mouth faltered into a sly smile. He backed out of the way of the stairs, increasing the distance between you both and swung around the corner to a dead end.
“Where are you going?” You asked, peering around the staircase.
Sebastian was standing at the bottom of the dead end corridor, in front of one of the many castle windows and what would’ve been an extraordinary clock, but placed together with everything else at Hogwarts, it seemed positively dull in comparison.
“You have to promise me that if I show you this, you won't tell anyone.” He suddenly said, in a more serious whisper.
Your eyes locked onto his, surprised at his sudden change in demeanour and nodded.
“But what are you talking about?” You further asked, not seeing anything special in this corridor other than a maybe slightly different patterned window.
Sebastian gave a final look over your shoulder to ensure that all your classmates had gone, and then produced his wand from his robes, turning his body to the intricate looking clock. Sebastian tapped the clock with his wand, and to your surprise, every cog and hand began moving in opposite directions. With a large thunk, the clock swung ajar, revealing it to be a door. Your eyes widened and you looked up at Sebastian, who gave you a wide grin and gestured to enter.
“Ladies first.” He said, and you gingerly pushed the door open.
Upon entering the hidden passageway, you were brought into a large, open but dimly lit room. It looked as if it had been left somewhat untouched for decades.
“Oh, wow this is.. interesting” You said absentmindedly, much more focused on taking in your surroundings instead.
“It’s perfect isn’t it?” Sebastian said, following you into the dark room with his hands in his pockets.
“Should we even be in here?” You turned suddenly, and Sebastian looked at the floor briefly and shuffled his feet. You knew the answer before you’d even asked.
“Well technically, no. But, on the other hand, no one knows it’s here. So…” He explained, casually.
You nodded slowly, raising your eyebrows slightly impressed.
“So how do you know about this place if it’s so top secret?” You asked, eyes narrowing slightly in the direction of the freckle faced boy.
Sebastian sighed, and almost looked reluctant to give the answer.
“Ominis.” He said, plainly. “His family have known about it for generations. I’m the only person, and now you, to ever know about it outside of his family, which is why I said you mustn’t say anything. Especially not to Ominous himself, he’ll go mad if he thinks I’m telling people about this place.”
“Of course, I won’t tell a soul.” You reassured him, and the room fell silent.
You pondered for a second, pacing up and down and still taking in the empty, dark room.
It was a perfect place for practise, that was for sure. Plenty of floor space to duel an opponent or practise on a dummy.
“So, care for a duel?” Sebastian grinned.
-
You had both spent the entire of Thursday evening in the Undercroft, throwing a magnitude of spells at each other and blasting different dummies. Sebastian had taught you a few new spells, one being “Expelliarmus”, which he later regretted as you took every opportunity to knock him halfway across the room and catch his wand. (“Really? Again?”)
You were having so much fun in fact, neither of you had been even vaguely aware of the time, and it was only once your stomach started rumbling, you realised you’d both missed dinner.
“Do you think we could sneak down into the kitchens and ask the house elves for something?” Sebastian wondered. Once you had mentioned you were hungry, he began to notice the gnawing ache in his empty stomach too.
“You’re asking me? I’ve been here for a week.” You retorted with a laugh.
“Right,” Sebastian agreed, his brows knitted together in thought. After a small pause, he said
“It will be fine, I’ve been caught doing worse.”
But as you both started for the door to leave, a familiar thunk stopped you in your tracks. Someone was entering the Undercroft.
“I thought you said no one knew about this place?” You hissed to Sebastian, eyes still fixed on the dark entryway.
“They don’t, it can only be-”
Ominis emerged through the darkened entry way just before Sebastian could finish his sentence. He stopped hesitantly, clearly aware the room wasn’t unoccupied.
“Sebastian, Y/N, is that you?” Ominous asked, his wand still up in the air pulsing red light.
Your eyes widened, as did Sebastian's, and you looked over to see his panicked expression, eyes fixated on Ominis standing a good ten feet away.
“Uh yeah, hello Ominis. I was just leaving.” Sebastian replied, clearing his throat and not daring to look back over at you.
“I heard Y/N.” Ominis said, like Sebastian hadn’t spoke.
You eyed Sebastian again, desperate for guidance on what to do or say. He met your fear stricken look and shook his head firmly. The two of you had a non-verbal conversation of panic.
“I heard their voice when I entered, once again you seem to be mistaking my blindness for deafness.” Ominis continued, coldly, and a wave of guilt washed over you.
“Hello, Ominis.” You said, as cheerfully as you could muster. Sebastian shot you a look, but shook your head and shrugged your shoulders as if to say ‘What am I supposed to do?’
Ominis didn’t say anything to your greeting, his mouth seemed to contort into a forced smile and he gave a very curt nod, before turning on his heel and making his way out of the door.
Sebastian immediately leapt forward after him.
“Ominis! Wait! I’m really sorry, she knows it’s a secret place, she won’t tell anyone!” Sebastian pleaded, but the rest of that sentence you never got to hear, as the to boys had disappeared through the entryway back into the Defence Against the Dark Arts corridor. You stood there in the middle of the Undercroft feeling a little lost and terribly guilty. The last thing you wanted to do was cause a rift between friends, even if it was unintentional, and definitely not something you want to be doing in your first week. Sighing deeply, you wrung your hands together nervously and began pacing, unsure whether to follow the two out or wait a few minutes.
You hung on for a few minutes, still pacing when the door to the Undercroft swung open once again, more aggressively this time, causing it to creak loudly and unpleasantly.
Sebastian stormed back in, frustration written all over his face.
“He won’t listen to reason!” He almost shouted as he paced over to the corner to retrieve his bag.
“Sebastian, I feel awful. Is he upset?” You said.
“He’s furious like I’ve never seen him, Y/N. I mean Merlin, he’s acting like I’ve gone and killed one of his family members or something! You will benefit greatly from this room, who cares if it’s some family secret, it’s just some stupid room anyway.” Sebastian huffed and slung his bag onto his shoulder. You didn’t know what to say to this, so you kept quiet, a solemn look of guilt all over your expression. Finally, you said quietly “I’m sure he’ll come round.”
And with that, the two of you left the Undercroft and walked back to the Slytherin Common Room in almost complete silence. Dinner had been long forgotten.
-
You’d had Potions the next morning, and after the events of last night, the lesson wasn’t fun like it usually was. There was little laughter, the atmosphere feeling icy with Ominis not speaking unless spoken to. Even for the entire lesson, Garreth had managed to not make one thing explode. This must be a new personal record for him, and you were bitterly disappointed that there wasn’t a Weasley shaped distraction to ease the tension. You had offered Ominis some help when you noticed he was struggling to crush his dung beetle with his pesto and mortar. He had uttered something about being completely capable of doing it himself, waving you away, until Professor Sharp had come round and noticed his obvious struggle. You stepped in, and he seemed to soften a little more once you’d stood next to him, grounding up his dung beetle in silence. The slight warmth towards you did not last long however, and did definitely not once extend to Sebastian.
Flying class you were without your two new friends, relieved a little bit to have a break from the horrid tension that sat in the air when the three of you were together. It wasn’t until lunchtime and you’d gone back to the Great Hall when you saw Sebastian again.
“Divination class, 2pm. Goodness, I’m not even sure where to go for that.” You were speaking to yourself and Sebastian just happened to be listening, as you sat opposite each other at the Slytherin table. Ominis had failed to show.
“It’s just above the Gryffindor Common Room.” Sebastian said, swallowing a mouthful of mashed potato.
“And you know where the Gryffindor Common Room is because?”
“Can’t go telling you all my secrets now can I?” He chimed, but still focused on his timetable that lay out in front of him and grabbed another spoonful of mash.
“Oh it’s fine, we can just walk there together anyway.” You sighed, grabbing some food for yourself.
Sebastian looked up at your words. Your spoon full of potatoes were halfway to your mouth when you noticed him looking at you.
“What?” You asked.
“I’m not taking Divination.” Sebastian stated. “Not ever again.”
“What? Why?” You said, half laughing at the way the boy seemed deeply offended at your assumption.
“That class is a load of old tosh,” He said, casually leaning back away from his plate and the table. “Honestly, you call reading a bunch of manky tea leaves in the bottom of a tea cup magic? It’s ridiculous if you ask me. No, I’d rather take the free period.”
-
After many directions given from Sebastian, you found your way to Divination. You weren’t sure what you’d expected Divination class to entail, but you certainly weren’t expecting it to be in a blasting hot attic with the only access to the room being a flimsy rope ladder. You weren’t sure you were even in the right place until Poppy Sweeting yelled down the hatch, beckoning you to come up.
As Poppy had called down to you, a set of footsteps were making their way up  behind you. Ominis.
“Oh, why are we waiting out here?” He asked, and you had the distinct feeling he didn’t know it was you from the sheer normalcy of his voice.
You cleared your throat to announce your presence, and instantly saw his demeanour alter. Was it annoyance? Discomfort? Or was he blushing? You couldn’t tell.
“Oh, we’re not, I’m just about to climb up. I’m just not too fond of ladders at the best of times.” You uttered quietly, flushing crimson, embarrassed at your slight confession but thought it served as an honest explanation as to why you were dithering at the bottom of the hatch.
“Would you like a hand?” Ominis suddenly offered, the icy tone in his voice not completely disappearing but faltering. Eyes widening with shock and embarrassment, you quickly declined. Maybe too quick, so that it came across as unintentionally rude.
Horror stricken by the series of events that had just taken place, you cautiously made your way up the ladder, silently wondering why on Earth this couldn’t just be a normal classroom with a normal door.
Professor Onai had announced the seating plan, you and Ominis had been seated together in the back corner of the small circular classroom.
The two of you were silent as you settled yourself down onto the plump cushions on the floor.
After listening to introductions and a brief demonstration, Professor Onai announced that you were to pair up with the person next to you, and read their tea leaves.
Brilliant.
You followed Onai’s instructions and drained your cup, leaving only black, small tea leaves littering the bottom of the tea cup. Clearing your throat, you pushed the cup towards Ominis, who seemed deeply interested in studying the floor.
He looked up slightly at you pushing your cup towards him, and looked as if he wanted to say something, but thought better of it.
You spoke suddenly, unable to bear the silence.
“I’m sorry Ominis. I know you’re upset Sebastian told me but, he was just trying to help me out. I understand why you’re angry. I won’t tell a soul about the Undercroft, I promise.” You spoke softly and quietly, ensuring no one around you could hear.
Ominis’s features softened at your words, but he still looked unsettled, unhappy.
“I am not angry at you Y/N, if that’s what you think. I don’t have an issue with you using the room, quite the contrary actually. I just…” He trailed off, and at that moment, Professor Onai approached your table, asking if the two of you needed any help.
“No Professor, we’re okay. I’m just… consulting the meanings behind what I’m seeing.” You lied.
“Make sure you do not rush this process Miss Y/L/N. Master Gaunt, I trust you are able to use your wand to help you interpret Miss Y/L/N’s leaves?” Professor Onai asked.
“Yes, Professor.” Ominis murmured, and with a swift nod, she floated away to check on Leander and Poppy.
Ominis cleared his throat, continuing.
“I am not angry you are using the room, I wanted you to use it. I just wish… I’d have been the one to show you it.” He stammered slightly at his words.
“Merely because, you know, it’s my family secret. It’s not Sebastian's secret to be telling.” He added quickly, in a sharper tone than before.
You nodded and hummed in understanding.
“Of course, Ominis. I do sincerely apologise.” You said. “I really hope you can make up with Sebastian.”
Ominis nodded thoughtfully. With the tension eased and the atmosphere feeling much more relaxed, you leant over and grabbed Ominis’s teacup with a grin.
“So let’s see what’s in your future.” You mocked in a silly voice, earning a small chuckle from Ominis which made you smile even more.
You flipped his teacup multiple ways, unable to decipher anything more than a clumped up mess of damp, black blotches. You knotted your brows, suddenly not being fond of actually being bad at this class.
“Hmm, well. If I were to take a complete shot in the dark,” you began, holding Ominis’s tea cup now at a very awkward angle, dramatically squinting and peering over at the Divination interpretation book you had open on the table, “I’d say, it seems as if you’re to have a lousy beginning to your month. An accident maybe? Oh no-” You stopped, leaning down now at your book and taking your reading more seriously. Ominis was sat chuckling opposite you, seemingly very amused at how serious you were suddenly taking it.
“Okay, no, not an accident, but maybe a bad start. However…” You returned back to consulting your book, becoming increasingly frustrated. “However it would seem by the end of the month, new opportunity is blooming and new, strong relationships are in the makings. Hm.”
You leant back as you finished your prediction.
“How very vague my tea leaves are.” Ominis quipped, the slight smile never really leaving his expression.
You giggled at this, leaning fully back now and crossing your arms.
“Okay, your turn. Just tell me that I’m not going to get eaten by a giant Acromantula or something?”
-
By the time Divination had finished, you and Ominis were on friendly terms again, and you couldn’t help but notice just how playful Ominis had been in that lesson. Did he just perhaps not take Divination seriously? (You couldn’t blame him) As he did the rest of his classes, whilst you and Sebastian messed around?
You had insisted you go down the rope ladder first, in an attempt to save yourself the embarrassment of Ominis being stood at the bottom and you fumbling around for the next wooden step of the ladder. He had offered multiple times to go first and help you down, insisting there was nothing to be embarrassed about (”Y/N, I literally can’t see you”), but you were absolutely mortified by the notion and firmly held your ground.
The corridor was pleasantly much cooler than the Divination classroom, the late afternoon sun tucking away behind the clouds now. The two of you trotted down the stairs, laughing about how at least five people in the class today alone had predicted their own deaths.
“It’s just such a ridiculous class, I’m sorry. I really didn’t think it would be as bad as everyone was saying. I hope crystal ball reading requires more actual magical talent.” You laughed as you reached the bottom of the stairs.
Ominis laughed with you, until he suddenly slowed his pace to almost a stop.
“Y/N, I was wondering actually, if you’d mind awfully accompanying me to Hogsmeade next Saturday?” Ominis asked, a hint of caution in his voice.
“Oh, I didn’t realise it was a Hogsmeade weekend next week. Of course, I’d love to!” You responded, cheerily.
Ominis smiled, and stated that it was settled. The two of you made your way back to Slytherin Common Room, making up more possible ridiculous predictions that could occur in your tea leaves.

something where the reader is the slytherin princess (and obvi draco is the prince) and for that reason everyone thinks they’re meant to be but they “hate” each other. lots of tension between them
hey! i might hold onto this request for a bit as i feel like it’s the platform for most draco x slytherin!reader s and i’ve already written a fair amount of them so far. i don’t think any of my readers have been pureblood and crowned as the slytherin princess, so i’m missing that essential part, but i’m putting a long slytherin reader request out momentarily. if you want tension, i’d probably recommend that one. i’ll probably end up writing this one a bit down the line, but i feel like i’m putting the same storyline out (tension between the reader and draco) so i’m trying to mix it up a little. if i get a slytherinreader request with a specific plot event that’s fresh, i’d be happy to group this onto that.
thanks for your request! sorry if this is kinda confusing lol

WC/ AVG. READING TIME: 2706 words/ 14 minutes
return to the draco masterlist here
Tumblr media
Y/N GASPED, CAUSING draco to detach his lips from hers. the y/h/c girl quickly looked down at her watch.
it was quarter past 4.
"shit i'm gonna be late, bye dray love you," y/n placed a quick peck on draco's cheek and placed her hand on the doorknob.
"draco..." she mumbled into his chest.
"5 more minutes," he hummed into the girl's hair, embracing her tightly.
"my father will be wondering where i've gone off too," she tried to squirm out of his grasp.
"fine," draco sighed out, finally letting go.
"i'll see you tonight?" draco looked down at the girl, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear.
"promise." the girl nodded her head.
they shared a kiss once more, before y/n opened the door of the broom closet, sticking her head out of it.
when she saw that there was nobody else in the hallway, she quickly scurried out of the small room, making her way to the defence against the dark arts classroom.
she placed a small knock on the door and opened it.
"you're five minutes late darlin," y/n's father greeted sitting at his desk, his head buried in a pile of parchments, presumably student's work.
"well good afternoon to you too dad," y/n smiled as she sat herself down on the chair opposite the defence against dark arts professor, remus lupin.
well you see, y/n was the only daughter of remus lupin. she was also the 5th year hufflepuff prefect.
and more importantly, she was dating the 5th year slytherin prefect. but not just any ole slytherin, the draco malfoy.
hence y/n and draco had to keep their relationship a secret. first of all, prefects weren't allowed to date.
secondly, y/n's father was part of the order of the phoenix, and lucius malfoy was a former deatheater.
can you say scandalous?
"punctuality is very important m'dear," he finally picked his head up from the table to look at the girl.
"i'm sorry dad, it slipped my mind, i was...in the library studying!" the girl twirled her wand in her fingers, hoping that hearing she was busy studying would please her father enough that he wouldn't give her an earful.
"very well, it is good that you are preparing for your OWLs at the end of the school year. i want you to mark these papers for me, then i'll go through them when you're done," remus pushed the pile of work done by the year ones towards his daughter.
"do i have to?" y/n groaned as she slammed her head onto the desk.
"yes. you have to," remus tapped his wand on the girl's head.
remus wanted his daughter to excel in school so she could graduate, find a stable job, and live comfortably. something he didn't have the luxury of doing due to his special monthly occurrences.
remus was fortunate enough to be given his position at hogwarts. y/n was actually the one who recommended her father to the headmaster after their previous professor turned out to be a complete and utter sham.
y/n was finally done with the work assigned to her, just in time for dinner.
the father-daughter duo made their way to the great hall, parting ways to their respective tables.
y/n filled her plate with food and she ate and chatted with her housemates, occasionally stealing and sharing glances with the blonde slytherin a table down from her.
the students slowly scattered away and made their way back to their respective common rooms.
soon, nightfall came and y/n headed back to her dorm.
when it was 10 pm, y/n slipped on her shoes and headed out of the hufflepuff common room.
y/n stepped out into the kitchen corridor and was met with a vinegar-doused draco.
"oh...my...godric," y/n said between laughs.
draco had an annoyed look on his face, rubbing the vinegar off his eyes and spitting out the gross substance.
"let's get you cleaned up big boy," y/n waved her wand and mumbled a cleaning spell.
"i've tried at least a million times and i still can't get the pattern right," draco huffed.
"well my love, that just proves you're a true slytherin," y/n smiled as she tiptoed to face draco.
"i missed you," draco leaned forward.
"i missed you too," she mumbled into the kiss.
the two walked hand in hand down the castle grounds, doing their prefect rounds.
y/n had managed to convince head-boy, ernie macmillan, to partner her and draco up for their prefect duties.
something about ensuring that draco was not slacking off while doing his rounds so she should be there to observe him, just in case.
it was now past midnight and the couple wandered aimlessly, chatting about whatnot.
they did happen to run into filch combing mrs norris' fur.
they could've sworn they saw him lick the back of his hand and wipe his head with it, imitating a cat.
"did...you see the way he licked his hand...it was hilarious!" draco hugged his stomach as he chuckled.
"i know," y/n wiped a tear from her eye.
the two unknowingly found themselves in the courtyard, by the door of the astronomy tower.
"what do you say we ditch our duties and spend some...alone time?" draco smirked, his head nodding towards the entrance of the tower.
"well mr malfoy, aren't you just a little punk?" y/n cocked her eyebrow to the boy.
with an alohomora charm, the door clicked open and they started climbing the extensively long staircase.
"how long mor-" y/n began to complain but was quickly hushed by draco.
the blonde boy placed a finger to his lips and gestured to the top of the staircase.
shuffling noises could be heard at the top of the tower.
the prefects tiptoed up the staircase and peeped through the railing.
they spotted ginny weasley and dean thomas sharing a rather....passionate kiss.
"ahem..." draco cleared his throat, the two gryffindors quickly pulled away from each other in shock.
"now, you could make my life easier by going back to your dorms and i'll pretend like i didn't see any of..." draco twirled his pointer between the two, a look of disgust on his face, "...that."
dean and ginny quickly awkwardly walked past draco and y/n.
the y/h/ced girl gave the two a thumbs up and mouthed a quick 'sorry' to them as they made their way down the steps.
"come on sweetheart," draco reached out to grab y/n's hand as he guided her to the balcony of the astronomy tower.
draco began to lie down, back against the floor.
"um...babe? what are you doing?" y/n stood over her boyfriend confused.
"stargazing of course," draco made a 'duh' face.
"alright hun' whatever you say," y/n hummed and laid next to the boy, her head against his chest as they looked up at the stars.
"that one's orion," draco pointed up to the constellation, "that one over there is ursa major," draco ran his free hand through y/n's hair.
"for someone who likes to pretend they don't care for astronomy classes, you sure do know a lot about it," y/n drummed on draco's beating chest, looking up at her gorgeous boy.
draco waved off her comment, trying to upkeep his 'studying's dumb' and 'bad boy' reputation.
"and do you see that one? it's my favourite one actually," draco pointed to the brightest constellation, "that's scorpius."
y/n looked at the bright stars in awe.
"it's beautiful..." y/n breathed out.
"just like you," draco admired his girlfriend.
"godric you're corny" y/n groaned into draco's chest smiling.
"one day, we'll finally be able to tell everyone about us princess, i promise. no more sneaking out at night, no more keeping it in the dark, just you and me"
"just you and me," y/n lifted her body so she was hovering over draco, placing a kiss on his nose.
"i love you so much draco lucius malfoy."
"i love you-"
"y/n hope lupin!" a familiar older male's voice boomed, causing the couple to jump and look in the direction of where the voice came from.
y/n and draco made direct contact with none other than remus john lupin.
y/n quickly got up onto her feet and patting her uniform down, draco doing the same.
"father i-"
"malfoy. dorm. now." remus instructed rather sternly.
y/n and draco quickly shuffled past him.
"not you y/n lupin."
the friction of y/n's sneakers and the floor let out a small squeak as she stopped dead in her tracks to turn back around to face him.
she stared down at her feet in shame as her father looked at her.
his expression was blank.
without saying another word, remus walked past the girl coldly, a silent gesture for her to follow him.
the walk back to her father's chamber was quiet, y/n was scared shitless.
remus opened the door to his office rather angrily, holding it for y/n to walk in, and slamming it loudly behind them.
remus sat himself angrily by his desk, while y/n sat by the love seat in the sitting area, the older lupin having a full view of his daughter.
the man stared blankly into space, his face straight, he was angrily picking at the dead skin on his fingers.
y/n kept her head down the whole time, not once daring to look into her father's eyes.
they stayed like this for hours.
and i mean. literal. hours.
remus was trying to process what happened while y/n's anxiousness continued rising every passing second.
"you've got to be joking y/n!" remus slammed his fist on the table and finally broke the silence, causing y/n to flinch, a tear escaping her eye.
"draco malfoy?" he scoffed.
y/n had never ever in her life seen her father so upset and angry before.
"he's nothing like his father i promise, he's such a great boy if only you just got to know hi-"
"lucius malfoy mudered your mother!" remus shouted at the girl.
that was one of the most crucial reasons why y/n and draco had to keep their relationship a secret.
the night lily and james were murdered, remus and y/n were in ireland staying with relatives while y/n's mother stayed behind in england. she had decided to pay a visit to the potter cottage that very night.
lucius malfoy had used the killing curse on mrs lupin when she tried to fight back.
but y/n knew draco was nothing like his father. she had grown to love the boy so much and even if his father did not, the young blonde had a heart of gold.
maybe he wasn't the nicest to others, but he was an absolute sweetheart to the girl he loved.
and she also knew that draco lived with immense guilt over his girlfriend's mother's death.
there were nights where he would cry into y/n's shoulder, apologising profusely to the girl for his father's wrongdoing, telling her how much he didn't deserve to be loved by her.
and that was when y/n knew draco was a good person, because no dark wizard would ever apologise for their actions.
"but that's not who he is-"
"his father is the reason why you don't have a mother anymore!" remus stormed over to the girl, standing over her.
y/n could feel the walls shake from how loud he was shouting.
"you..just..have to get to know him!" y/n cried, tears streaming down her face as she buried her face in her hands.
"i can't believe you're still defending him!" he spat in her face.
"because i love him!"
"well i'm bloody grateful your mother isn't here to see how much of a disappointment you've become!"
the moment the words left remus' mouth, y/n's eyes widened in shock.
she knew her father wouldn't approve of their relationship at first, but she'd never imagined he would be capable of saying such things. especially since he knew how much y/n wanted to make her mother proud.
"i hate you. i wish i never had a father like you," y/n stood up from her seat, poking his chest with her pointer as she spoke through gritted teeth.
"wait y/n, darlin' i didn't mean what i sai-" remus tried to stop her when she shoved past him.
"if you didn't mean it, then you wouldn't have said it," y/n sniffed as she wiped her nose with the sleeve of her robes.
y/n ran down the halls when she bumped into ernie.
"y/n? are you alright?" ernie tried to reach forward to comfort the crying girl.
"don't...don't touch me," her voice shaky as she quickly ran off in the direction of the courtyard.
draco did not in fact return to his dorm when he was told to, instead he stayed in the castle halls, looking for the father-daughter duo.
as he stalked through the hallways, he walked into a rather confused ernie.
"oi, macmillan have you seen y/n?"
"um yea, she was crying but she ran off before anything happened," ernie informed, scratching his head.
draco knew exactly where y/n was.
the only place she'd go to when she's sad.
draco sprinted to the black lake, where he was met with the back of y/n's dark silhouette, she was staring off into the lake.
"hi mum..." y/n hugged her knees as she stared at the moving waters.
remus had told y/n that back in her hogwarts days, when he was still courting her, the black lake was y/n's mother's favourite place.
her and lily would dangle their legs into it and watch the sunset and rise.
and so, whenever y/n was at hogwarts and felt like she needed to talk to her mother, she'd head to the black lake, and well, talk to her.
"i'm sorry..i'm so sorry," y/n sniffed as she sobbed, "but i love him....i love him so so much. for the first time ever, i don't feel alone, because i have him. he makes me feel complete mum."
"oh my gorgeous y/n," draco breathed out.
y/n whipped her head around when she heard the familiar voice.
she quickly ran into draco's arms.
"he...said i was a disappointment to my mother," y/n wailed into his chest.
"he didn't mean it, sweetheart, your father loves you so much," draco comforted the girl, rubbing her back.
"then why did the words..leave his mouth s-so easily,"
'i don't know sweetheart, but i do know that he is so proud of you, proud of the beautiful, intelligent, wonderful girl you are,"
y/n pulled her head away from draco's chest to look up at him.
"what if..he never accepts us," a frown visible on y/n's face.
"then so be it, who cares what anyone thinks my love. even if the whole world is against us, i will never leave your side. you will always have me," draco combed her hair with his hands, "but i promise you my girl, your father didn't mean what he said, he was just angry, he loves you just as much as i do."
"i love you so much draco lucius malfoy."
"je t'aime mon amour."
the young couple shared a loving kiss.
what they didn't know, was that remus was hiding behind a tree, watching.
maybe draco was nothing like his father.
