Digitigrade Vanilla Clothing Edits

Lower body clothes edited for compatibility with my Digitigrade Werewolves override and Digitigrade Legs for human/other occult sims. Currently includes the following packs (modular download, choose based on what packs you have):

They should be grouped together at or near the bottom of your sort order in CAS and show up for the same categories/filters as their vanilla counterparts, though so far I've had to add frame restrictions for anything originally made to go on both masculine and feminine frames due to mesh issues.

These are not an override and don't work on their own; they require Digitigrade Werewolves or Digitigrade Legs. They won't replace or alter the vanilla clothes they're based on, and are disabled for random. You'll have to manually replace the vanilla pants on NPC werewolves.

Writing prompt: Werewolf Eddie turning into a wolf and sneaking into a Metallica concert. A couple of days later, Steve opened the newspaper to find out his mate had snuck out during the full moon. Based on the dog that snuck into the Metallica concert. I don't know if you guys heard about that or not. 😆

After yet another day of investigations, we managed to make werewolf fur templates functional with and without HQ mod. Just go and grab the HQ replacement files here:

If you grabbed the replacement files already, please redownload "GP12_HQ" and "GP12_HQ_templates and please delete the file "GP14_HQ_templates(HQ only)"

Please be aware that paint mode is not working with HQ mod and an attempt to use it while HQ mod is on will cause the game to crash.

I just finished reading a book about werewolves and now I can't stop thinking about werewolf Steve.

He sees the party as his pack, his family. He's constantly ruffling the kids hair and pulling them into his side, holding Robin's hand and bumping their heads together. To anyone outside they would think Steve was just being affectionate, which he was, but in reality he's putting his scent on them.

Steve rubs his face on them when he hugs them, wraps an arm around their shoulders, he's just always touching them to make sure his scent is always with them. So that if anyone like him tries to hurt them, they will smell Steve on them, they'll know he'll come for his pack. Always.

Eddie constantly smells like Steve. He wears Steve's clothes, sleeps in Steve's bed and Steve constantly has his hands on him so his scent is always mingled in with Eddie's and it makes Steve's hindbrain go insane. All he can think is mine mine mine whenever he's with Eddie.

No more extreme distortion thus far.

the writers putting a song with lyrics like ‘i don’t know where i belong’, ‘if i make it home when our worlds collide’, ‘help me find my way ‘cause i’ve been feeling so lost and afraid’, etc in the background of the scene where theo makes it clear liam has voluntarily chosen to ask for his help and starts offering insight into liam’s emotions— specifically his anger and how it’s really just a manifestation of fear— is so crazy like. you paired a song literally called NOBODY KNOWS with a conversation about how they feel and how liam wanted theo to be the person who came with him when he was worried about getting out of control. but i wasn’t supposed to read into any homoerotic subtext. oh Okay.

Digitigrade Werewolves (Override)

An override for werewolves that turns the humanlike legs EA gave them into digitigrade legs with paws, fully paintable and now including a Maxis match fur texture as well. The lower joint is immobile as I can't alter the rig, but I've done my best to shape and weight paint them in a way that gives the illusion of natural movement. The skin override is only needed if you use vanilla skins; if you use my Natural Werewolf Skins, just make sure you have the version for digitigrade paws.

There are still some minor issues, there's what appears to be a uv-1 weight slider problem that creates some artifacts on the legs in CAS, but it doesn't affect gameplay in any significant way and the artifacts aren't visible during gameplay so I'm uploading them as-is. The legs are also a little chunky and off-looking on female wolves, but this isn't something I can change as it has to do with the way the werewolf morphs work. I previously compensated for this by making the mesh super skinny, but they still didn't look great and I'm now working on a digitigrade clothing project that will expand beyond werewolves, so I decided to go with a more neutral shape that looks good when not distorted by the werewolf morph. If it's too distracting this can be compensated for by lowering the leg width slider on females to minimum.

The legs are not compatible with vanilla lower body clothing, but I'm currently working on adapting some of the Maxis lower/full body clothes for digitigrade legs.

Everyone has full permission to use the meshes for any lower body clothing they want to make compatible with these legs, just don't alter them or use them to make your own legs/body parts, and don't re-upload them unaltered anywhere. You're also welcome to use the skins as a template if you want to make your own skins compatible
