ok so i’ve seen ppl talk abt werewolf steve and werewolf robin but not both and that’s a tragedy so have some hcs:
- they share clothes all the time / are always wearing at least one article of clothing or accessory that belongs to the other person bc the scents are comforting (and they both have a lot of cozy clothes)
- they are always touching when they’re next to each other (feet in the others lap, holding hands, cuddling, using the other as a pillow, etc.)
- can tell when the other is upset / uncomfortable and are skilled at making up excuses so they can check on them alone
- are very protective of those that they consider ‘pack’ (which is most of the characters but especially the kids)
- they both have enhanced senses and tend to be overstimulated by different things so they help the other muffle their senses when it happens (headphones, stim toys, strong comforting scents, etc.)
- they both chew on stuff a lot to stim & cuz wolfy stuff so all their hoodie strings / pencils / necklaces / etc. are chewed up lol
- they r strong lads and end up accidentally crushing/breaking stuff a lot and usually blame each other (“who did it?” *both point to each other*)
- they run warm so even though they cuddle a lot when it’s cold they usually don’t when its hot
- after robin gets turned their metabolism gets super high so steve uses his parents money to just always have a shit ton of food on hand (they usually end up eating at steve’s house but steve also has hidden snacks Everywhere)
- they roughhouse a lot to let excess energy out and tend to ruin clothes that way (steve always buys himself and robin new clothes anyway) and have, on one memorable occasion, accidentally broken bones (which healed almost immediately but was still scary)
- if we have werewolf!stobin we gotta have vampire!neddie ((edancy?) aka eddie & nancy)
- nancy comes from a distinguished vampire family / eddie was turned by some rando when he lived with his parents and then ran away to wayne who took him in
- steve is a born werewolf bc of his mom (who takes magic suppressants or smth and his dad doesn’t know) so he had to figure everything out on his own / robin was turned by a feral werewolf and steve teaches her ‘how to wolf 101’
(btw vampires and werewolves are Known in this au so it’s not kept secret from anyone)

Vampire Eddie and Nancy with their Werewolf partners Steve and Robin.
Steve and Robin chasing each other and their own tails.
Nancy leaning into a dark academia vampire vibe while Eddie is the more metal scary kind of vampire.
Drinking their partners blood.
Brushing their partners fur.
Eddie giving intricate rings to Nancy he finds and Nancy giving Eddie chunky ones she finds.
Steve playfighting Eddie while in wolf form.
Nancy taking her long nails through Robins fur.
They're all night owls obviously.
Parties in the woods.

Giggling because I saw shaggy as a werewolf and thought that's very reminiscent of how Robin would look as a werewolf too

head not empty head full, full of woof woof werewolf eddie and oblivious human steve. eddie’s instincts going haywire around steve, and feeling ultra possessive and protective of him that Robin (also a werewolf???) gets second hand embarrassment from it.
like, maybe steve knows ab werewolves bc of Robin, so therefore he tries to be helpful to eddie too! but he doesn’t get why eddie always seems uncomfortable or unhappy with the same things that robin loves :( (eddie is restraining himself from jumping this thoughtful boys BONES)

Modern werewolf Robin unironically asks Nancy “do you need a dog? I can bark” and Nancy, who doesn’t know, doesn’t understand why Steve is losing his goddamn mind at this comment—

I'm Right Here
A continuation to Full Moon requested by @robincityofsilver. We dive back into the Robin is a werewolf world with this one. Quick disclaimer: my knowledge of werewolves is not that great so I adapted it to whatever the hell I wanted to be. Still a werewolf though, no worries.
You can read my previous prompts or send me some new ones.
Robin was pacing the floor of her bedroom. The full moon was rapidly approaching. Nancy had marked the date on the calendar that she had gifted Robin. It was probably the only thing marked on it. But with only a few hours until the next transition, Robin really couldn’t be bothered to care.
Somehow there was one thing she still cared about, one thing she couldn’t forget. Nancy Wheeler’s lips attached to her cheek. Whenever she closed her eyes, she could still feel them pressing against her skin. It might have been the only good thing that had come from this whole ordeal.
Although she did also appreciate how close she and Nancy had become. Even if it gave her this illusion that maybe she wasn’t completely insane for liking Nancy like that. Which was ridiculous because Nancy could never like her back.
But that was hard to remember when said girl was sitting on her bed.
“Robin, you need to calm down,” Nancy said. She was leaning on her elbows, slouching back, as if this was her own bedroom, as if she felt right at home.
“I should start heading out.”
“Your parents are still downstairs.”
“Nance,” Robin whimpered. Her canines were growing already, it was hurting her jaw.
“Alright.” Nancy stood up carefully. “Alright, we’ll get going. We’ll just tell them that we’re going for a walk. We’ll go to Lovers Lake, like last month.”
“We? No, Nance, you are not coming with me,” Robin protested.
“Like hell I’m not.”
“No, I could hurt you.”
“You won’t.” Nancy placed her hands on her hips.
“How can you know that?”
“You didn’t hurt me last time.”
“Last time was the first time. It might be different now. I can’t— What if I can’t control it?”
“Robin, I trust you and I know you. You said it yourself, you were able to recognize my smell. I know you won’t hurt me, Robin. I know it. I can feel it.” Her hands moved from her hips to Robin’s upper arms where they softly stroked the bare skin.
“Nance,”
“No, I will not hear any of it. I will go with you and I will stay with you until tomorrow morning. There is nothing you could say that will change my mind.”
“I can think of something,” Robin muttered under her breath, almost inaudible.
If Nancy had heard it, she chose to ignore the comment. Instead, she let her hand slide down until it grabbed on to Robin’s hand, and she softly pulled her along.
“Robin? Is that you?” a voice called from the living room as they passed it.
Robin poked her head into the room. “Hi, yeah, we’re just going for a walk.”
Her mom nodded her head in acknowledgement. “Enjoy!” her father called after them.
The drive to Lovers Lake felt longer than it usually did. Robin kept bouncing in her seat with the agitation and discomfort that the transition brought upon her. Her nails were growing causing her to be unable to clench her fists like she usually did. Her eyes were changing causing her vision to go from normal to distorted to… better. There was hair growing all over her body that caused her skin to itch like crazy.
The second Nancy stopped the car, Robin jumped out, rushing towards the edge of the woods.
“Robin!” Nancy ran after her.
Robin fell on the forest floor, crawling into a ball as her back started breaking and morphing into something new. Nancy crouched down next to her, combing the hair out of Robin’s eyes even when it continued to grow longer and longer.
“Shh, I’m right here, Robin. I’m right here,” Nancy whispered softly.
Robin could barely register her own muffled cries as she pushed her face into the moss. She could feel Nancy pull her head into her lap. She could feel Nancy’s hand sliding through her fur. It felt nice.
And then everything went blank.
-
Robin hadn’t rushed away to transition back. She had simply cuddled closer into Nancy’s body as the pain went through her once more. It didn’t hurt as much to turn back. Her spine settling back like it was supposed to. Her nails retracted, much like her canines. The hair fell out in clumps, covering Nancy’s lap in a carpet of fur.
“Welcome back,” Nancy said with a smile as she started cleaning her pants. Robin’s head was still laying in her lap.
Robin shivered. She was vaguely aware that she was naked. She was very aware she was cold.
“Robin? Are you alright?” Nancy’s hand felt hot against her bare shoulder.
“Cold,” Robin croaked out.
“Oh, yes, of course.”
When Robin looked up at Nancy’s face, she saw a deep red blush. It made Robin want to cover her body. But as she looked at her discarded clothes, she saw nothing but ripped pieces of cloth.
Nancy shuffled from under Robin and took of her jacket. “Let me get you home.”
Robin barely noticed that she got up, that she followed Nancy to the car. She crawled into the backseat. Nancy’s jacket was wrapped around as much of her body as it could cover.
“Robin, are you alright?” Nancy’s eyes caught Robin’s in the rearview mirror.
“Yeah, I’m alright. Th— thank you. Thank you for staying with me.”
“Of course,” Nancy replied.
A silence fell over them. One that burned in Robin’s ears. She wanted to say something, anything. But the words just wouldn’t come, and her throat stung.
“Robin, can I ask you something?” Nancy looked over at her friend.
Robin nodded.
“Earlier, you said something. You said you knew a reason why I wouldn’t want to come with you. I just— what is it?”
“I— Nance.” She didn’t want to talk about this. She had hoped Nancy hadn’t heard. She had forgotten she said it.
“It’s just that I can’t really imagine there would be any reason for me not to go with you. It’s just been swirling in my head all night.” Nancy tried to laugh it off.
“Can you drop me off at home?” Robin tried not to look at the girl.
“Sure.” Nancy sounded slightly annoyed.
“Nance, don’t be upset.”
“I’m not.”
“I can hear that you are.” Robin finally lifted her gaze. Nancy didn’t look upset.
“I’m not upset. I’m a little worried though. I’m worried that you don’t trust me. I— Nevermind.”
“I’m falling in love with you.” The words slipped over Robin’s lips. She expected the car to come to a standstill. She expected Nancy to take a deep breath, continue driving, drop her off at home, pretend it’s okay and then she expected Nancy to never speak to her again.
The car came to a screeching halt. Nancy turned around, her eyes locked on Robin’s face.
“Are you serious?”
Robin nodded. Maybe she had expected wrong. Maybe Nancy would kick her out of the car right now.
“You love me?”
Robin nodded again.
Nancy opened her car door, got out and slipped into the backseat, right next to Robin.
“Do you want me to leave?”
Nancy shook her head.
“Okay,” Robin breathed.
Nancy leaned in closer. “Tell me to stop.”
Robin wouldn’t. She would never tell Nancy to do anything or to stop with anything. She would never stop Nancy from leaning in. She would never stop Nancy from softly kissing her, gently moving her lips against Robin’s.
Her skin was buzzing and this time it wasn’t because of the full moon, this time it was because Nancy’s palm was resting against her skin and her lips were on Robin and it felt incredible. It felt so much better than the kiss on her cheek. Robin knew she’d be thinking about this none stop for the next month. Maybe even two. Maybe she’d think about it for the rest of her goddamn life.
Nancy pulled away with a sigh and a soft smile. “I have been wanting to do that since last month.”
“We should do again next month,” Robin replied with a smile grazing her own lips.
“I’m not waiting another goddamn month.” Nancy dove back in.

Thinking about the first time Robin transforms; they knew it was going to happen. They could feel it with every day that passed.
The full moon ever encroaching.
She feels a pit in her stomach. How is she going to tell Nancy, the Monster Hunter, that she's a werewolf?
But the night of the full moon; Nance is out on her hunter shakeout. Her duty. With Chrissy. Robin doesn't know how she knows. But Nancy knows.
They can see it in her blue eyes that gleam in moonlight.
Robin doesn't move. Doesn't try to run. They've been lying to Nance. And Chrissy. She can't blame either of them if they stuck to their oath and struck her down right then and there.
But Nancy stiffens, holding out her arm, "Chris wait." She whispers. But Robin can still hear. Can hear how her heartbeat has picked up pace too.
Nance hands off her gun to Chrissy who doesn't even question.
She's squatting now, one hand partially out towards Robin, "Come here pretty boy," Nancy coos, "we're not gonna hurt you. I promise."

Hi!
I'm seriously obsessed with you monster au, it's seriously all I can think about these days! I'd love to know more about how different types of monsters are viewed by society, especially how shapeshifters are viewed and whether people even know if they still excist or if they are generally more seen as something like a story told to get children to behave.
I'd also just love more bits of lore and stuff you've came up with about this au, I seriously want to know it all!! Thank you♡
*foams at the mouth* Okay, okay, okay-
Monster's or well "Creatures" taking the themes I've stolen from Frankenstein- Most supernatural, at least half, full, born, or made. Tend to be very accepted, actually more so than Humans in several cases. Of course there are acceptations. Jason, and the basketball team as an example. And like most of the entire population of Hawkins' who aren't monsters- or monster adjacent. There's going to be Prejudice That's a given, it's not a perfect world. Now! Most Vampires are, generally born vampires. Some are turned, and some can be made via ritual- Born Vampires are more "accepted" they are less hostile. Opinions on them are very high, just because they tend to go into the medical field. Vampires and Werewolves are very accepted into higher positions in public service jobs. Born, not turned. Witches are incredibly common, because Humans can further their social setting by becoming "a super natural" but they are still very human. Learned Witches are Different than Born Witches. The Byers are Born Witches, and The Wheelers (besides Ted, because fuck him) are learned witches. Now, Learned witches carry a bit of a "I'm better than you because I have magic." Especially to humans even though they are humans themselves honestly
Shapeshifters have more issues because they faced a lot of issues along the lines of "Giving you rights means you can't really shift anymore, because we have to be able to tell what you are" but also because they faced a lot of issues that people killed them more because they saw them as less human and more Monster. Which at the time of the supernatural like laws being put into place, that was a huge issue. and Instead of fighting it shapeshifters can pass as humans pretty well. For the most part, they are considered to not be around anymore. In small towns, and further south. They are "boogie man" stories used to make children behave. "If you don't behave a Skin Eater is going to come steal your face in your sleep" kind of shit. Under Supernatural laws, they are protected. Their Territory, kills based on Bonds, and other supernatural pushing into their space. But they have no individual laws that other Creatures do, that protect them from humans, and other supernatural. Basically it's a huge melting pool over all, but discrimination and hate crimes are covered because they won't give themselves a voice. If you can't tell I've desperately wanted someone to talk to about this. <3 YOU ASKED FOR OTHER LORE, WHICH IS JUST- *Flaps hands* Shapeshifters are VERY tactile. In like early humans and early Supernatural times- they where referred to as "Skin Stealers" (Or Skin Eaters) Because the people they bond with that aren't blood related they tend to copycat their features! It's a comfort thing, they just like looking like their people. They also can easily become touch starved! Which, used to be called "Skin hunger" which is a weird fucking term but whatever. I think it's kind of cool. Which is where the classification or just term, Skin Eaters comes from. They didn't get to be classified as Shifters until much later, and then reclassified as Shapeshifters as Animal Shifters are also a thing. (Shifters in general face most of the same issues, because they are all grouped together) Animal Shifters are different from were-creatures too! Robin can't shift fully unless it's the full moon, she can half shift, teeth, ears, maybe a tail. But she's more human- A wolf shifter, can straight up just be a wolf whenever they want.
I have far too many thoughts.

Maybe I’m just high on sleep deprivation but there’s something SO SPECIAL to me about Robin being the sun aesthetic girlfriend and Nancy being the moon aesthetic girlfriend and them being usually written as a werewolf and a vampire respectively
A werewolf and the moon she loves to fear
A vampire and the sun she fears to love
Actually fucking feral about this
