My YouTube playlist with fan videos for Once Upon a Time. This is the fastest growing playlist of mine. It's already bigger than my SGA one, even though I started it this year. The main culprits are Captain Swan, Killian Jones and general OUaT videos, but there are a lot of other characters and ships, as well.

I'm going to repeat myself, over and over. But I think, the following, applies to all fandoms.

In my opinion, playlists are currently one of the best ways to find fan videos on YouTube. Especially for less popular or older fandoms or smaller creators. If you have one created for the OUaT, I encourage you to reblog or comment under this post with the link. Let's spread the love for vids and vidders and help each other find hidden gems.

Also, please, if you like any of the videos, don't get discouraged by the fact that they're old. Like, save and make comments. I have yet to find a creator who isn't happy when people interact with their older creations. It can make someone's day. Who knows, maybe it will motivate them to dust off their skills and love for the fandom, if they have time.

I was rewatching pieces of ouat, and that show is wild. Like, not in the most messed up family tree kind of wild, or curse on Hook's lips kind of wild.

What was wild to me is the first time Robin Hood and Regina ever met in Storybrooke. This was their first meeting, Robin was completely aware of who Regina was, and the atrocities she had committed, and his first instinct was to flirt.

Robin (basically): Yes, I know she's a war criminal responsible for the death of thousands including my own wife, but she's just so darn pretty.

Robin Hood: *talking to Regina* You made mistakes. Me: Well that's one way to put it.

Gods, I'm going feral over the friendships on OUAT. the ones we could've had. especially for killian

belle and killian. ESPECIALLY after after the frozen arc. bonding over their hate for Rumple, Belle realising killian was right, forgiving him, killian forgiving himself, bonding over books. killian telling her about his travels.

robin & killian. learning about the modern world together. going through relationship woes together. double dates with CS & OQ. both being outlaws and anti-monarchists while dating royals. the honour and good form that keeps them both in line.

regina and killian. both villains, both trying their best to redeem themselves for the sake of loved ones. fearing that their happy endings will never come (or that they'll lose them). fearing that their misdeeds were so awful they can never atone for them. supporting and keeping each other from relapsing. they both understand the pull of the darkness, ESPECIALLY when darkness plays on your grief and loss of loved one. they both had to put on personnas of power (Queen, Captain) in order to hide the broken mess underneath.

bigger emphasis on Killians' relationship and parallels with David. especially the whole brotherhood notion. Killian's relationship with Henry and how they both helped each other grieve Neal/Bae's death.

Gods. it would've been so good. we were robbed
