A dissofession subterm connected to thinking one is a sex worker and that makes the person, whether it be because of delusional or IRL attachments, being an alter that profession differs from the body, psychosis, etc., feel disconnected from their external profession.

Made this because I saw a transid term that admittedly fucked pretty severely and wanted to try my hand at a dissomei term.

Based the colors off my lovely wife whom I love so much as she's a former sex worker.

osdd-1b definition, pulled from google: "OSDD-1b [is a form of OSDD that] is missing the amnesia found in DID, preventing a diagnosis. There may still be memory loss relating to trauma, but not between alters."

The finished drawing of Altera! One of the most famous of all the cyberfurries since unlike the others that got alterations first, they aren't camera shy. They were one of the first to get alterations at all, and the first to get functional wings that they can actually fly with (once they learned how to use them, that is).

Yes, vampires are a thing in this universe, as a very recent phenomenon.

Alterhuman Advancements is the official name for my Cyberfurry universe, which I'll be writing about mostly as short stories. Altera is, for my purposes, an NPC, they won't actually be the narrator in any of the stories I plan to write so far, but you can write from their perspective if you want! This is a completely open universe, 100% public domain, anyone can write original fiction for it, including using these characters!

And no, writing for these characters isn't fanfiction, it is original fiction. Take the damn credit!

Free Coloring Page!

Have you seen our awesome notecard image created by Miss Aceriee (Instagram | @aceriee-art on Tumblr | Twitter) for our current Kickstarter campaign, And Seek (Not) to Alter Me: Queer Fanworks Inspired by William Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing"?

Well, I doubt it's surprising to learn that we put a lot of thought into which flags to represent with each flower, and which flags to include. We wanted to make a bouquet as diverse as our queer communities, as inclusive as impossible, and to reflect the range of queer identities featured in the book and among our authors and artists. It was really great to research the different flags and decide which ones we wanted, and where. Do you recognize them all?

Yes? WAY TO GO!

No? Here's a quick key - listed in counter-clockwise order, starting at 9-o-clock:

Gerbera daisy - Pride flag (we opted for the Philadelphia flag - the brown and black are in the center, as a representation of how central BIPOC are to queer communities and history; we'd have used the Progress Pride flag but since we were already separately including the trans flag and intersex flag, we went with the Philadelphia flag instead)

Violet - genderqueer flag

Lily - asexual flag (these are also the colors of the demisexual flag)

Tulip - bisexual flag

Gladiola - has flowers for the lesbian flag (pink/orange - there are multiple lesbian flags, we use this one as it's generally considered the most inclusive), the gay men's flag (blue/green), the trans flag (white/blue/pink), and the aromantic and agender flags (both are green/black/grey)

(No longer only blue)bell - has flowers for the genderfluid flag (pink/blue/black/white), non-binary flag (yellow/purple/black/white), intersex flag (yellow with a circle), polyamory flag (red/blue/black), and pansexual flag (pink/yellow/blue)

We couldn't include every Pride flag - there are far too many for that! - but we tried to incorporate all the most commonly used and most widely recognized. We wanted as many members of this community to see themselves in this arrangement as possible - but in the end, we'll never be able to include everyone.

That's where you, yes YOU, come in!

Do you wish the flowers had been assigned flags differently? Is there a flag not represented that you wish was? Would you have handled the coloring of the image in an alternative manner? Do you love it exactly as it is but like to play with colors?

YOU ARE VALID AND WE SUPPORT YOU!

In celebration of me moving my pride flag from my closet to over my bed, here’s a pride flag color picked from the flags I use!

These terms are in similarity to Ravenhoarder, Kiwihoarder, and Turkeyhoarder in terminology and flag design. All coined and made by me.

Humminghoarder

An identity in which one’s orientation is fluid but one can’t find just a few terms to describe what their fluid orientation is, so they “hoard” orientation terms that fit them. This is similar to Genderhoarder and Turkeyhoarder but with PLATONIC orientations instead of genders or pronouns.

Bird: Hummingbird

Blue: Trust

Green: Dependability

Yellow: Joy, Friendship

Albatrosshoarder

An identity in which one’s orientation is fluid but one can’t find just a few terms to describe what their fluid orientation is, so they “hoard” orientation terms that fit them. This is similar to Genderhoarder and Turkeyhoarder but with ALTEROUS orientations instead of genders or pronouns.

Bird: Albatross

Blue: Male

Pink: Female

White: Nonbinary

Black: Clouded Feelings

Grey: Undistinguished Feelings

Dovehoarder

An identity in which one’s orientation is fluid but one can’t find just a few terms to describe what their fluid orientation is, so they “hoard” orientation terms that fit them. This is similar to Genderhoarder and Turkeyhoarder but with ROMANTIC orientations instead of genders or pronouns.

Pride flag templates I’ve made, so that they’re all the same size. Some of the colors (mainly plain white and plain black) have been altered to allow them to show up on plain black or white backgrounds.

Feel free to use for anything, including redbubble designs, as long as you aren’t being a bigot or mocking other people’s identities.

These are sized 10,000 pixels by 8,012 pixels, since I use them for redbubble, but you can shrink them down to any size you want!

Here is a link to basic flag templates meant to be recolored, these ones are a bit smaller, but should scale up to the same as these ones and vice versa.

Here’s a tutorial on how to make cool designs with these!

A New Pride Flag For Systems and the Alters Within Them!

I know I’m not the only only that can’t associate with the white/orange/black flag, and while I appreciate that we have a flag at all I really want one that I don’t feel uncomfortable with, and isn’t that what we all deserve anyway? So I decided to make the effort to make a system pride flag myself, and this is my final product.

The flag is representative of a system itself, and is meant to be relatable to a variety of systems. I incorporated a few layers of meanings in it.

The first is that each colour represents a class of alters that most systems have:

Black - Host alters and ANPs

Grey - Protectors

Teal/Green - Alters whose roles are too specialised to be listed.

Mint - Littles

Red - Caretakers

Yellow - EPs/Trauma holders

I did my best to choose types to represent that most systems have in some capacity, plus a color to include the more trauma specific sorts.

I made the design so that the colours varied in how many colours each touched, to represent communications between alters and dissociative barriers, and then also to create an example of common system organisation, with ANPs at the outer, EPs as held back as possible with Caretakers nearby, Protectors close to the outside, etc.

I took a lot of care in designing this flag for us all, so that we can have a flag that isn’t alienating to a sizeable amount of the community. I hope that everyone likes it and finds it useful!
