Not even going to try and be modest about this. This looks fucking baller. Which is good because this is a gift for my mother in law.
I did find some variegated floss in my scrap pile, but there's less of it than you would think. (I had a lot of scrap floss.)
The nice thing about little patterns like this is you can redo them relatively quickly. I did another version that I swore I took a picture of, but it was definitely not as good as this one.

What do you do if you find an injured bat on the ground? Don't touch it! Their cuteness doesn't exclude them from transferable diseases. It may be stunned from hitting a window so wait a little to see if it moves, and if you think it's really injured, it's time to call some professionals!
There's so many bat rehabilitation and refuges around. You can find one local to you on a map compiled by @batworldsanctuary.
