and i like this concept because i think bakugou would destroy anyone who dares say that deku is not a hero anymore due to his quirk loss. bro is literally the first one to defend izuku’s honour and he gets so pissed when anyone underestimates deku and his determination to save people no matter what.

just. just imagine bakugou saying “you don’t need a quirk to be a hero, and izuku is a living proof of this phrase”. imagine him continuing to view deku as his equal. as someone worthy of competing. as his partner – in any sense.

Tenko Shimura Quirk (Theory)

Ok, so it's been confirmed that Tenko/Tomura originally did have a quirk - AFO just swiped it from him the moment he was born. But we do not currently know what that quirk exactly was.

So, before we begin, here are a few things to keep in mind: We do not know what quirk (if any) his mom or her side of the family had. And we do not know what quirk his sister got either (we know she got one by the time Tenko was born and it's partially why AFO never used her for his plans). So this speculation is solely based on Nana Shimura's quirk, as she is the grandma and we know she had 'Float'. And for now, we'll just assume his mom's side is all quirkless.

Now let's get onto my speculation of his quirk. <3

We know what Float does - it allows the person to literally float in air, though only to a certain degree. We don't know the exact range or how long it can work (or even the side effects of using it), but I assume it's similar to Ochako's 'Gravity' and causes a sense of nausea within the user. And it seems to work from whatever height they're currently at, so they need to get a good head start if they want to float from the height of something like a building.

So, from this, Tenko could've had the exact same quirk. And his personality is very similar to Nana's, right down to wanting to be a hero. But, I feel like his quirk would still be unique to him.

With the little info we have now, I theorize that his quirk would be something similar to Odd Thomas' ability. Basically, he'd be like a magnet - attracting and polarizing other objects/entities, especially if he's looking for said object/person. Which would be really cool, it'd make him super powerful especially as a Rescue Hero.

My new notebook got burned. Some stuff happened with Kacchan. He was pretty upset. I don't think he really meant to burn my notebook so badly, so it's okay. I also accidentally dropped it in the school fountain, but at least I can still write in it!

Meeting All Might was a dream come true!!!! A real miracle!!!?!?!?!?!? He didn't think much of me at first. That, I'll admit. My quirk is kind of a secret, but a hint is that it's not very good. All Might said I could be a hero. HE SAID IT! I've been wanting to hear those words my whole life, and there he is. Standing in front of me was the hero I idolized most (read: all) of my life, and he saw potential in me. Part of me never thought I'd hear those words, much less from him. I cried. Like, a lot. He saved me from a villain. He actually saved Kacchan too, which I got in a bit of trouble for. (I tried to run in to help him. Not a very smart move in hindsight.) But I'm glad I did it. All Might saw I was brave, I guess? I've never though of myself as brave. I should hurry up and post this before I cry again and fry my computer. Yesterday went from the worst to the best to the worst to the best day of my life. It was amazing. I feel like things are starting to look up. I'm really, really excited for the future!

Psycho: this quirk is a lot like Aizawa’s except instead of erasing quirks it makes people go insane until you blink.

Psycho: this quirk gives its user the ability to make people go insane, when the user makes eye contact with someone whilst their quirk is on it causes the other person to go insane until the user blinks. This quirk causes the users hair to and their eyes to glow when on. The downsides to this quirk are, if overused this quirk causes dry eye and confusion for the user.

A Lie of Individuality

You know my favorite part about chapter 419?

It's how All For One's great big, brutal final reveal destroys Tomura by ripping away the single most important part of his character journey as a Villain, and throwing it in the trash.

One of the lost in translation moments this series lost from Japanese to English is the fact that the terms for ones ability in this series would more correctly be translated as ones "individuality", and no character is defined more by this than Izuku and Tomura.

Izuku because of his lack of it defined him as a person, but for Tomura, ALL of his development has been based on finding his own individuality and building himself on it.

One of his biggest moments of growth was when he finally realized that one of the things that made his urges go away was to fully give in to his urges, which he saw as finally giving in to what he was meant to be. What his quirk, his genetically set destiny had laid down before him.

He was born with a quirk of total and absolute destruction, and so he was genetically predisposed to destroying things. It was only natural that this was what he was meant to do, and so each and every impulse of destroying things he ever had was completely justifiable.

He didn't really have any culpability in it. That's why he hated hero society so much. Because it rejected him from the moment he was born, because he was born with violent urges, just like Toma was.

Except that was all a big, fat, fucking lie.

Shigaraki was never born with any destructive urges in life.

The feelings he had, whatever their origin, had absolutely nothing at all to do with any predisposed genetic urges.

And that means that his justifications for why he killed and murdered was all based on a lie, a flimsy foundation, a hollow base.

A lie based on his belief in his own Individuality.

New Quirk Name: Bonded

This Emitter type Quirk activates whenever the user calls out people within a five-meter distance of one another. When they do this, they will start to glow pink. These two targets will then perform better together the closer they are, both physically and mentally. This will make the targets stronger and more capable of working together, with even average people being able to punch through bricks and work together like a well-oiled machine. The user can apply an opposite effect to two targets as well, shown by a blue aura, causing them to become physically weaker and less cohesive the closer they are to each other. This gives the user a good mix of support options, enhancing or weakening synergy between groups with simple callouts. If nothing else, it can be a good indicator of how people feel about one another. Though this Quirk is based on the closeness of the targets to each other, both physically and emotionally, with the blue aura relying on the targets disliking and the pink aura relying on fondness between the two. The user cannot apply the Quirk to themselves, and the boost will fade on its own, requiring the user to pick out new targets. The user can only have one of each effect active.

Character AU Quirks (Part Five - HIM)

I had to. I saw a picture of HIM, and it got my creativity juices flowin'. So here is if HIM was in MHA and had a quirk (seriously if HIM existed in MHA HIM wouls be on par with AFO I tells ya at that point just run no one is safe from HIM).

Quirk: World Distortion

Ability: The user can distort the world around them into a more perverse/dark version of itself, revealing one' greatest fears or just making hellish scenarios at a whim. The range is small, but the user can effect multiple people within that 'bubble' of influence and cause mass hysteria/psychosis. Thankfully, if the person has a strong will, they can fight against this influence and see past the distortions.

Quirk Awakening: The user can now stretch their influence over literal cities, causing entire populations to be effected instead of just those nearby. The distortions are also more powerful, they can target each person's fears specifically (like how in Silent Hill everyone sees their own nightmare) and the user can pick and choose if someone within the 'bubble' of influence is effected or not.

Extra: ??? (I imagine HIM and AFO fought a lot in the past but as HIM is mortal in this version HIM just ends up dead from old age. Literally the sappiest ending for any villain, just got old and died without any struggle.)
