Rifle and Vibrate Quirk Marriage? Please and thank you!
New Quirk Name: Frack Shot
This Transformation type Quirk allows the user to change their arm into what seems to be an advanced piston on it. The user can fire out these organic spikes over medium ranges. When these spikes land, they violently vibrate. This deals immense damage to whatever is hit by it, the vibrations breaking apart whatever they hit, breaking through concrete and steel with ease. The longer the user has the shot inside of the gun, the stronger the vibrations become, either breaking further through the target or spread out from the point of origin. This gives the user a powerful tool for offense, able to smash their way through any kind of defense that gets in their way and massively break up their surroundings. Though using the Quirk too much can damage their arm gun, requiring some cool down time for the gun to function again. The user will still need to aim their shots and can deal accidental damage to their surroundings if they are not careful.

Do you think you could make something based around controlling puppets like Kankuro from Naruto?
Oh, that could be fun. Kankuro and his puppets were always one of my favorite fighting styles, especially all the cool tricks and tools he put inside of it.
I see it working as an Emitter type Quirk that allows the user to make a porcelain, human-like doll from their body. The user can control this doll up to five meters in front of them by moving their hands and fingers . The doll is above average in all physical abilities, though is unremarkable in most other ways. The true power of the Quirk comes in the user's ability to modify and adapt their doll. The user can change its shape into any human sized from and can add on new additions from it, such as making it large dog or granting it extra arms. The user can fill the doll with various tools as well, whether it be integrated into the doll it self or pull out for later use, such as a hidden blade in it's arm. This gives the user a versatile option, using their doll as any ever changing tool. If nothing else, the doll can make a for a good assistant. or simply use it as an assistant. Aside from the user needing to use their hands, the user only has one of these and cannot make any more until it's destroyed. The doll has a lot harder time with more advanced technology, like electronics or fire arms. Changing and integrating parts into the doll takes some time and unsuitable in combat. A possible name for the Quirk could be "Modeled"

Can you make a quirk based around ai? What I mean is like based around artificial intelligence? All of your original quirks are very creative and such so I would love to see how you make a quirk based around artificial intelligence while having the quirk make sense to be in MHA. Thank you!
Not entirely, but there are ways you could try to adapt it. By it's very nature, AI has some kind of intelligence and independence to them, but I don't believe Quirks can grant anything true intelligence. However, I do think there are a lot of ways you could replicate what AI are shown doing in media. Which does come to the other issue of AI, that being how broad and powerful it's shown to be a in a lot of stories, but you could still easily limit it to certain functions. For example, "Self Help" fits with the idea of an AI helper often seen in fiction, such as Cortana from Halo. You could do something like that, where the user is basically talking to themselves. Another thing you could do is something that gives the user technological service in their head, such as a heads up display or a GPS, and it comes with a voice meant to help the user with the information. If you want to do something more focus on AI as programs, you could have a minion based power that deals with machines, such as sending out cyber minions in machines, computers, or electronics and influences them somehow. Alternatively, you could take inspiration from more modern AI, having an ability inspired by asking something questions or prompts to get results.

I was wondering you have a Djinn Quirk, if not if you up to it can you make one. Plus i hope you have a great dayy.
It depends on what you mean. I obviously don't think that any kind of wish granting power could work, because how on Earth are you suppose to balance that? I suppose you could go with the whole pulling out some monster from the user's body, but I can't exactly think of a way to do that without it being "Dark Shadow" with a different element. Maybe you could have a minion power where the user ties them to objects, like having them pop out of something when touched, or where the minion offers some specific benefits, like enhancing people when told by the user. Otherwise, Djinn are some pretty diverse creatures as far as mythology goes, having plenty of powers and stories attributed to them that you can take inspiration from. They have a lot of connections to air, such as manipulating weather or becoming smoke, as well as a bunch of miscellaneous such as becoming various animals or being able to teleport.

Could a quirk based on Kizaru’s df work in any shape or form?
Hey!! I just wanna say i love your blog!! What are some light based powers you could provide???
Not really, no. It's way too strong to work in any form. It really needs to be broken down into other abilities to balanced. Ignoring all of my "Naval Laser" Quirk Marriages, I have done plenty of light based powers to cover this. I've got "Bright Flight" for light based flight, "Light Dash" for light based speed, "Highlight" for blinding light, "Knife Light" for darts of light, "Glass Cast" for making light based minions, "Holy Smite" for weapons of light, light augmented attacks with "Light Touch", and "Ray Way" for just a giant beam of light.

How about a Quirk Marriage between Queen Bee and Serpentress?
New Quirk Name: Pit Snakes
This Transformation type Quirk allows the user to change their hair into a series of unmoving snakes. The user can remove the snakes from their hair and throw them out, turning into three foot long living snakes. The user can make dozens of these snake and can control them over medium ranges. The user has a biophysical link with their snakes, able to see and smell everything they do. These snakes have all the user traits of snakes, able to coil around people slither through tight spaces. They have an acute sense of smell and can see heat with their infrared vision as well. The snakes have a set of fangs that can absorb and induce liquids by biting them, letting them inject people they bite into. This gives the user a good mix of options, slithering over any of their foes with their serpents. They can use the snakes as spies, coil are foes to keep them in place, track people with their body heat, weaken foes with various poisons, or just scare the life out of people by throwing snakes at them. Though the user's biophysical link can deal damage back at the user if any of the snakes are destroyed, made even more notable given how frail the snakes can be. The snakes are notably less useful in colder temperatures, becoming more sluggish and harder to influence.
OR
New Quirk Name: Beehive Hair
It's just "Queen Bee", but the user makes the bees from their massive beehive hair cut.

The most annoying aspect is why didn’t AFO just give Tomura Overhaul? He could still kill his family by the surprise factor and turning his family to paste and would be more stronger and versatile for future plans. Like have Garaki teach anatomy to Tomura to master overhaul if it requires knowledge or heal up AFO after his fight with all might since Tomura is completely loyal. Plus it would make crime so much easier like overhauling walls to break in and out with no sign of damage or kill/torture someone over and over and not leave fingerprints, heal wounds since Tomura complained about no having a healer in the party. My only guess is that Decay would ensure the family dies. Honestly it feels like Hori knew people suspected that Decay was given, so he tried to add a surprise twist by having be from Overhaul but just ended up raising more questions.
AFO had access to Overclock and Overhaul and didn't keep either of these quirks, or at least a copy of them. These two alone would make for an extremely broken combo. That, imo, is just complete dumbassery on AFO's part.
Its still weird that AFO didn't have a copy of Overhaul because Garaki could make artificial copies of quirks starting with the AFO quirk itself. If Garaki had the quirk him he could have easily fixed and improved AFO after his fight with All-Might
I have a particular question regarding Kotaro Shimura. We know that he and Nana had a rough time after the death of the father and force to let go his son to being raise from foster family. Why didn't All For One track him and brainwashing him to thinking that his mother abandoned him? Why target Tenko, his son to be his successor?
I've already talked about the flaws of him taking "Overclock", that it's an extremely skill reliant power that needed a dedicated user to make the most of, so I'll just talk about everything else here.
Tumblr media
I think you are overestimating how much "Overhaul" would by of use to All For One. Yes, I did say that All For One would benefit from "Overhaul" and I stand by that. However, that is my assumption that "Overhaul" is super easy to use. if I were to play devil's advocate, I could put forward "Overhaul" is a lot more complicated then it appears. It's only as strong as it is since Kai is equal parts competent and experienced enough to make the most of the power. This can be further supported if you go with the idea that "Overhaul" was a deviation, which are infamous for being dangerous and unwieldy for even trained users. Whether or not any of this was Hori's intention is unclear, at least to me. What I can say for certain is that "Overhaul" could not heal All For One. While "Overhaul" can fix injuries, it can't reserve damage. If anything is missing or too far gone, Kai can't fix it. It's why Eri is still scared from all the experiments that Kai did on her. The damage that All For One took is far more extensive then that, to the point that not even "Super Regeneration" could fix it. It's why we don't see it healed until he took the Rewind Drug. He needed something that potent to put his body back together.
While "Overhaul" is certainly a more practical power, there were multiple reasons "Decay" was given to Tomura. It prevented Tomura from being able to heal his family. "Overhaul" is meant to reverse any of the damage done, potentially giving Tomura an out from whatever destruction he caused. "Decay" is only meant for destruction. Second is that All For One didn't want Tomura to be too capable. You need to remember that All For One didn't want a true successor. What he wanted was a vessel that he could eventually take control over. For that, he needed Tomura to hate and for that hate to be strong. So he gave him a power that was a constant problem, risking destroying whatever he touched and was only applicable in destruction, further pushing his destructive nature. "Overhaul" would have been too useful to really work with that. Finally, it helped keep Tomura under All For One's wing. It made him easier to direct and influence. We see this all the way when they first interact. It's why he didn't use Kotaro. Going by the flashbacks, Kotaro was a full adult. It could have been that All For One had only just found him and decided to reoriented his successor plan to use Nana's family, engineering the whole scenario to make the successor he wanted.

Rabbit super moves/evolutions if you haven’t covered those?
So unlike something like "Frog", "Rabbit" doesn't have a lot of variants to pull from. The most they have is hares, but there is little functional difference between rabbits and hares. However, there are some features that we have yet to see any real usage for. For example, her senses. While she can hear over long ranges, we haven't see her fully apply that in other ways, like hearing frequencies outside of human ranges, similar to "Good Ear" from the anime. Rabbits also have good eyesight as well, able to see a full three hundred and sixty degrees. Rabbits also have a much wider range of vision as well. Like rabbits are known for their ability to burrow. That could be a fun application for her power, giving her a whole other layer to her movement abilities. I suppose there could also be a powerful biting ability based around the rabbit's infamous teeth, certainly fitting with Miruko's feral fighting style. The most interesting trait would be Miruko's legs. Rabbits actually have a strong sense when it comes to vibrations. It's part of what makes them thump in the first place. So a fun expansion of that would be Miruko being able detect movement with her legs and make small shakes on the ground by thumping her foot.

Hi so I’ve been wondering how does Izuku transferring Gearshift to Shigaraki also transfer the recoil? Like how does that really make any sense?
I do think there is an explanation, but bear with me, there are some details I need to hash out first. Quirks are, at their core, biologicals abilities. Drawbacks are part of those abilities. It's like when you work out and your get muscles get exhausted. So if Izuku removes the Quirk, it removes the affect it has on it's body. It be like having a body part that's been infected and needs to be removed. You can't use that body part any more, but that issues related to it are no longer a problem. There's also the fact that, whenever Quirks are taken or given, they are at their current condition of the transfer and are not reset. We see this when All For One takes "Fierce Wings" from Hawks and the Quirk is an extremely weaken state from all the damage Hawks and his feathers that were lost through out the fight. So everything that Izuku has accumulated for his own body would be transferred over to Tomura once "Gearshift" was given to him.

Do you have a list of your most popular Quirks? If not, that's fine, just asking.
If we're going purely by how many notes each Quirk has, as that's my only real metric for if someone liked a Quirk or not, it would be "Swap", "Pocket", "String Along", "Star Swarm", "Hydrometer", "Grow Up", "Bulk", "Slasher", "Checkmate", and "Radion". Most of these didn't surprised me that much. These are either Quirks that have gotten a lot of asks about them or have very interesting concepts for powers. The only one that did is "Star Swarm". Like I get why people like it, firing out stars is cool, I just thought I didn't do that best job with it.

What about Magnetism and Muddied? What do you think that could make?
New Quirk Name: Draw Blank
This Emitter type Quirk allows the user to create blue and pink auras for people whenever they come into contact with them. People affected by these blue and pink auras will become more or less memorable in people's eyes, respectively. Blue auras can help make details less clear, while pink makes them clearer, like a target's face or clothing. The user can choose to be excluded from this effect if they so choose. This gives the user a unique tool for stealth and subterfuge, causing confusion about how things happened. They can keep their allies hidden, send people's attention elsewhere, cover up evidence, help others stick out more, or simply help themselves remember or forget something. Though these auras will only last ten minutes at a time and this doesn't alter memories, only distort them depending on what aura is around a target. The user cannot target themselves with the power, and it doesn't affect machines.

Yo Wizzy. I have a weird quirk request. Can you make quirk based on "Why do I hear boss music" meme? Just curious how you can make it work.
I know this is referencing one meme, but all I can think about is that character in Super Robot Wars whose theme song literally overpowers every other theme in the game.
I see it working as a Transformation type Quirk that allows the user to turn parts of their skin into a black mesh, similar to a speaker. From this, the user can cause music to start playing from any part of their body that will travel out over long ranges. This works with any music the user has heard before, working like an internal playlist they can pull up and play whenever they wish. The user can set it up when the music plays or have it in tune with their emotions. This music will be heard regardless of any environmental factors, such as noises louder than the music or someone's ear. The user can be selective with who hears the music, This gives the user a good mix of utility options, able to play music however and whenever they want. They can affect morale with their songs, use certain songs to convey messages, mentally attack someone with annoying songs, or just have their own soundtrack for their life. Though this only plays music without any change, giving it very little real benefit to the user. The music can go off by accident if the user messes up their setup, and the user will be an obvious source of the music. A possible name for the Quirk could be "Soundtrack".

Could a quirk based on metallurgy work?
It depends on what exactly you want to cover with the idea of "metallurgy". Assuming you mean dealing with the study and altering of metal's properties, there's a lot that could be used as the basis for a Quirk. As long as you keep it to changing metals or giving them new properties, it's just a matter of what you want the Quirk to be good at. You could do something where the user changes or is changed by the metal. Keeping it under a singular concept would be easier to buy, though, so there should be something that ties all the effects together, similar to what I did with "Metallurgy" where I had it be various kinds of energy the user implants in the metal. For example, the user could have a power that affects certain metals in certain ways, either with a specific kind of metal or metals in general. Like they can make metals explode, or they can make metals unleash certain kinds of blasts. Alternatively, the user could instead enhance themselves with the metals they have on them, like iron increasing their durability. Another choice could be an ability that enhances the properties already present in the metal, like having steel be more durable or copper being highly resistant to electrical attacks.

Can you make a quirk based on Ryuukou Yanagi‘s abilities from Baki?
It depends. Poison Hand is way too strong, basically making any attack an instant kill, and would function better with a weaker effect, like with "Poison Tips". And while the idea of a super slap would make for a hilarious idea, that doesn't feel like it could support a whole Quirk and would need something else, such as what I did with "Drum Palm". Vacuum Palm has some potential, but it's too weak to work as a Quirk. The main purpose of this is to cut off oxygen by touching the mouth, but that seems like a lot of work for a pretty underwhelming effect. You'd have to expand on the idea a lot to make the effect worth anything. And while you could do this by just making the effect instant on people and giving it other applications, like letting the user crawl on surfaces, I'd advise on expanding on the core idea more. Like if the user's hand acted like a vacuum. Not as powerful as "Black Hole", but still shredding and damaging whatever it's applied to.

Sorry if this has been covered. I tried looking back and didn't see it but was wondering if you could make a quirk based of Psylocke's Psiblade or Raiden Shogun's Lightning Katana?
I've already done something with Psylocke's Psiblade, so I'll talk about Raiden.
I can't see her katana working that well. Being an exceptionally powerful sword and having a vast swath of electrical abilities is something I can't reconcile under one power. It'd be hard to fenagle it to a consistent power, like focusing more on one part of the power while still having the other one. It's one of those cases where it'd have to be one or other other to make proper Quirk. If you want something more sword focused, maybe try "Slasher". If you want something more electricity focused, maybe try "Volt Charge".

Can we get one of your Quirk Combos for Cloud and Search?
Now I'm just thinking about Aizawa, Yamada, and Oboro each being paired off with one of the Wild Wild Pussycat girls. Man, wouldn't that being an interesting triple date.
New Quirk Name: Sky's Eye
This Emitter type Quirk allows the user to make small, thick yellow clouds from their hands the size of the user's head. The user can move and control these clouds over medium ranges. The clouds are thick enough to hold on to and can contain small objects. The user can see through every part of the clouds, similar to seeing through a fog, as shown by similar clouds appearing around their eyes. The user can have the clouds follow and swirl around specific objects or people, regardless of how fast they move, letting the user constantly track where someone or something is going. The user can still control the clouds while they do this, such as by making them move out of harm's way. This gives the user a good support power, able to keep track of whatever is going on from a distance with their eyes in the sky. The can follow wherever their enemies go, find people trapped or lost, use them as security cameras, grab onto the clouds to fly on them, or simply use them to deliver items to people. Though the clouds can be destroyed, either by leaving the user's range or being destroyed by people they are following. The Quirk is lacking outside of support and utility options, and the user can only have twenty of the clouds active at any given time.

Does Izuku still have One For All? Did he lose that? Is Eri's horn going to give it back to him?
Do you think Deku will regain his quirks?
For the sake of this, I assume you mean the core power and not the vestiges since those seem gone from "One For All".
Tumblr media
So going by All For One's language, it seems "One For All" was lost somehow. It wasn't very clear. And if it is gone, I've always been mixed on the idea of "Rewind" ever returning any missing Quirk. I've always believed that Eri could only rewind material that was in the target's body. If the Quirk isn't there, she can't target it. And since "One For All" was transferred to Tomura, Izuku shouldn't have it anymore. However, I could see some wiggle room with it. Hori could just say that "Rewind" does bring back people's Quirks. After all, what I said is only my interpretation; there isn't anything concrete. You could also justify it as being an incomplete process. That Izuku got rid of the vestiges and their Quirks, and he still has the core of "One For All" inside of him. Which may have been stated that that was Izuku was doing, but I can't find the panel that says that specifically. But if "Rewind" is used, I doubt it would return the previous Quirks since Izuku got rid of this quite a bit before he was hit with Eri's horn.
More importantly, I do think there is more value in having Izuku get "One For All" back than in him not having it. In universe, nobody stands a chance without Izuku. So unless he starts screaming his head off to get Tenko to act out of All For One's control, there isn't much he can do when he's Quirkless. It would be pretty awkward to have our main character sit out the last battle. And if Izuku still has "One For All", that means the First User is still in play as well. Now that All For One is back, this could give some resolution between these two characters now that they both have the chance to interact with one another. Heck, maybe we could even get the missing half of the One's backstories by seeing things from the First User's perspective. What's even better is that this can still give some wiggle room for Izuku to be a hero after all of this is over. Maybe the First User could be transferred to help fight All For One, but now it's leaving Izuku behind with the stockpiled power since that wasn't the First User's original Quirk, finally separating the two and leaving Izuku as the last user.
