For a lot of people the outing scene in the house of hades brings sorrow, but for me it is almost nostalgic. Let me explain.

When I read it i was about 12 years old, and no idea that gay people existed. My first action after, was to search up if nico is a girl, because only girls can fall in love with boys. When I discovered that nico was in fact, a boy, that started a whole procces in me. If boys can love boys, does that mean that girls can love girls too? Basically this made discover that queer people existed, the two women who lived together not far from us were lovers, and that me myself was like that. I am gratefull that I discovered it like this, because instead of turning to hate, I connected with the characters, and they taught me that it is okay to be different. And even today I find peace with them, and later characters like will, kayla, piper, reyna helped me a lot (im a Will btw).

My point is, that this extremly sad moment brought me a lot of happiness. I will always be thankfull to unckle ric for this scene. And remember that representation matters!!!!!!!!
