the plot was that donnie severely fucked up his knee, like permanently, forcing him off the battlefield forever, and his brothers went around finding people who could help

there was a surgery to repair his knee and help him back into a semi normal life that he couldn't perform on himself for reasons, probably lack of resources

i thibk he made a brace for it himself?

he made a robot that would go out into the field for him, trackjng his upper body movements exactly and using what i think was ai for the legs

i remember the line "and his cardinal sin was spinning when he should have flipped" or something like that

I will never be over how good Leo and Hueso’s dynamic is and how both of them get so much out of having the other in their lives.

In Leo’s case, he gains that older male figure in his life that he is willing to trust and lower his walls for. He gains a confidant where he has none elsewhere, too busy keeping up his many masks with his family to ever consider showing them his true thoughts. He gains an authority figure who is willing to hear him out, no matter how reluctant said figure initially appears.

In Hueso’s case, Leo’s direct involvement in the skeleton’s life has undoubtedly benefited Hueso so unbelievably well. For one, it’s Leo’s choice to ask Hueso for help finding his brothers that ultimately leads to the clearing of Hueso’s Hidden City ban. Then, it’s Leo and Mikey that Hueso brings on to help him with two mob bosses, ending with the bosses no longer being a problem for Hueso. And of course, through Leo’s decision to come to Hueso for advice and later the slider’s insistence that Hueso try to make up with his brother, Hueso’s estranged relationship with Piel is finally mended.

Sure, Leo causes no small amount of strife and damages to Hueso’s business and person, and Hueso is often annoyed by and speaks callously to Leo, but there’s a reason Leo feels comfortable enough to continue going to Hueso, and there’s a reason Hueso ultimately always hears Leo out.

They really do end up feeling like a nephew and uncle, don’t they?

What I remember is that reader got kidnapped from her ex in the woods and before a storm so she runs away and runs into bucky (i forget if he’s a lumberjack or not) and he helps her and alpine likes her and they stay together until the storms over and soon her ex got police to come look for her and bucky protects her.

Is anyone actually posting just one sentence? I'm sure not. I'm working so hard to pull this fic kicking and screaming from my brain, so you're gonna enjoy a whole ass snippet whether you want to or not. This is from a fic I am writing about the Fool's early days at Buckkeep. I am forever thinking about his relationship with Shrewd, and wanted to explore more deeply how he came to love his king so much that he was willing to abandon everything he worked towards to be by his side.

This is the nexus he has Dreamed of, the one where he can save his Catalyst. He knows it as intrinsically as he knows his own name. All around him the possibilities unfurl into a multitude of futures. He saves his Catalyst, but only the first time. He loses his Catalyst, and then himself. He saves his Catalyst, again and again, but it is not enough, and his icy end fills him with despair. He loses his Catalyst, but he himself lives on, and on, and on, and the everyday the empty skies remind him of his failure. Okay so the premise of the fic is Remus dies. Sirius is still alive so it's obviously canon divergence but there's not much else to it except that the transformations would get harder and harder on Remus each month and the fact that he makes it longer than they both thought he would. I remember the fic mentioning his age - I think he's in his 50s or 60s. Sirius is then with him (I think James is too) and he's holding his hand after a transformation when he eventually passes.

It's a short fic - 2k words or less

Sure villain x hero are awesome. But what about villains x villains? Nothing's hotter than making out while some dude burns the world for you and YOU ENJOY IT CUZ ITS VILLAIN X VILLAIN STORY. Add some rivalry into that mix for example: *villainess/villain shouting at henchmen receiving news* "WDYM BY JONATHAN GOT THE FIRST KILL?? THAT TOO MY KILL??! Basically from what I can remember, it's angsty and it's mostly about how Steve's been apologized for his whole life, then when he gets with Eddie he promises to never treat him that way. Then there's a bit where Steve meets his friends (I might be confusing this with another one) and he's anxious and drinking and Eddie ends up saying something like, "Sorry about him, blah blah blah..." And Steve kinda shits down becau0se ouchie. Then Eddie gets mad because Steve wasn't nice to his friends and they get into a fight where Steve mocks his apologizing for him and Eddie's realizes what happened and Steve just blows him off before he can fix it and drives away.

It was heartbreaking and so freaking good!!! I just wanted to find it again so I can see if there's been any updates and to read it again cause the writing frankly slapped!
