Alright, I thought it was time to share one of my secret crossover Disney ships. Yes, I ship Cruella de Vil and Daisy Duck. I don't know; the ship just came to me randomly a few years ago, and I fell in love with their dynamic. I'll probably make a post about Cruaisy ship headcanons in fuller detail, depending on how well this moodboard is received. 😳👉👈

The picture of Daisy on the first moodboard is from "Donald's Diary." It is one of my most favorite designs for Daisy. And the DuckTales 2017 Daisy render I used on the second moodboard because Daisy's hair and wardrobe are based on her wardrobe from the 1954 Disney classic short "Donald's Diary."

Fandom: Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies

Summary: You have been hiding a secret from your boyfriend Gil. When he finds out what it is, he's "pissed" that you didn't tell him.

A/N: I mention 'Big Momma's' (From the Disney movie 'Teen Beach') later in the fic, just think of this as an alternate universe or that the movie has already been made (Wet Side story, the movie within the 'Teen Beach' movie). Yeah, anyway, hope you enjoy the fic.

"Okay, what is it? What's wrong?" Gil asked as he leaned against your Locker. You rolled your eyes at him. "I'm fine, okay?!" You snapped. Gil's eyes widened as you snapped at him. "Baby, chill. It was just a question." You sighed. "Gil, I'm fine." "Y/N, come on. You know you can talk to me." Gil was trying everything to get you to talk. "Yo, Y/N you gotta see what David and I found." Your best friend Daniel said as he walked up to you. "Not now, Daniel. I'm busy." You answered back. Daniel just nodded in response and walked away. "Gil, can we just drop this? Please?" Gil stood there and sighed. "Y/N, come on. Talk to me. What's going on?" "Nothing, it's fine. We're fine. I'm fine. Everything's fine!" You stated as you walked away from him and left him there speechless.

As soon as the School Day ended, you went straight to Daniel. You leaned against his car and said, "So, what did you want to tell me before?" Daniel went to the bag in his car and started frantically looking for something, "This." He said as he showed you what it was. Your eyes widened in surprise. "No way!? At the-? With the-?" Daniel nodded his head as he said, "Yes." To all your statements. You squeal in excitement and joy as you hug your best friend. "And you have to tell Gil," Daniel added. You then gave him a look. "No, no, no, no, no, no! Gil, can not know that I can sing. Okay, Okay, Okay?!" You stated in a frantic tone, "Y/N, the more you don't tell him, the more pissed he'll be when he finds out," Daniel replied. "Fine, I'll tell him." You gave in and sighed. "Good, because if you don't, I will," Daniel said sternly.

Later, you were at Gil's place, helping him with homework. The two of you were in silence when you decided to say something. "Gil, I have to tell you something. You promise you won't laugh?" Gil looked up from his textbook, "Yeah, what's on your mind, babe?" "You know how every time you've asked what's going on and I've been snapping at you?" You sighed. "Yeah, what about it?" Gil asked as he cuddled up next to you on his bed. "I-I didn't know how to tell you, but, uhh, I can sing." You confessed as you looked down in embarrassment. "Y/N, why didn't you tell me?!" Gil exclaimed. It was meant to sound happy, but it came off as angry. "I'm sorry, Gil. I know you're upset, and I should've told you. I just... I didn't know how!" You said, tears welling up in your eyes. Gil took your chin gently in his hand and started wiping away the tears from your cheeks. Gil then sighed, wrapping his arms around you and pulling you even closer to him. "It's okay," he said softly. "It's okay, I'm not mad. I'm just really happy that you finally told me." He kissed your forehead.

Finally, the week was over and you started getting ready for the performance you were doing at 'Big Momma's'. Daniel was already there because he was the drummer for the band that plays there. So, Gil, Richie, Potato, Shy-Guy, Jane, Olivia, Nancy and Cynthia were picking you up and taking you there.

You checked your outfit in the mirror one last time. You wore a black leather jacket, a red plaid shirt, skinny jeans and boots. You wanted to look cool and edgy, but not too flashy. You grabbed your purse and headed downstairs, where your friends were waiting for you in Gil's car.

"Hey, you look awesome!" Jane complimented you as you got in.

"Thanks, so do you!" You smiled back at her. Jane was wearing a floral dress and a denim jacket, her brunette hair in a ponytail. She was your best friend since you and the rest of the girls became 'The Pink Ladies'. They always supported you in everything.

"Are you ready to rock the house?" Gil asked you from the driver's seat.

"I hope so!" You said nervously.

"Don't worry, you'll do great!" Richie said from the passenger seat. He was Olivia's brother. He was wearing a band t-shirt and his 'T-Bird' leather jacket. Gil then made Richie move to the back of the car so you could get in the front with him. Which happened rather quickly and smoothly.

"Yeah, we're all here to cheer you on!" Potato added from the back seat. He was also a member of the 'T-Birds', like Gil and Richie. He was wearing a hoodie and jeans and his 'T-Bird' jacket. His nickname came about because no one could pronounce his real name.

"You're gonna kill it, girl!" Shy-Guy said from behind you. He was wearing a sweater and his 'T-Bird' jacket, like the rest of the boys. He was shy around strangers, but very sweet and funny with his friends.

"Thanks, guys. You're the best." You said gratefully.

You looked out the window and saw the familiar neon sign of 'Big Momma's'. You felt a surge of adrenaline as Gil parked the car.

"Let's go!" Olivia said enthusiastically. She was wearing a leather skirt, a crop top and her 'Pink ladies' jacket.

"Come on, we don't want to miss the show!" Nancy said impatiently. She was wearing a jumpsuit, heels and her 'Pink ladies' jacket.

"Yeah, hurry up!" Cynthia said eagerly. She was wearing a T-shirt, boots and her 'Pink ladies' jacket.

You followed them out of the car and into the bar, where Daniel greeted you with a hug.

"Hey, you made it! I'm so proud of you!" He said warmly.

"Thanks, Daniel. You're so sweet." You said smiling

Daniel was your best friend since middle school. He was the drummer for 'Momma's Boys', the band that played regularly at 'Big Momma's'. He had also helped you practice for your performance.

He led you to the stage, where he introduced you to the other members of 'Momma's Boys': Mike, the lead singer; Dave, the lead guitarist; Sam, the rhythm guitarist; and Ben, the bassist. They all welcomed you and the girls warmly and wished you good luck.

You saw the boys sitting at a table near the stage, waving at you and cheering for you.

You took a deep breath and smiled.

"Hello, everyone! I'm Y/N, and I'm here to sing some songs for you tonight! With some help from my girls; Jane, Olivia, Nancy and Cythina." You said into the microphone.

The crowd clapped and cheered for you. "And this first song goes out to my Boyfriend, Gil!" You added as you pointed to where Gil was sitting with the guys so everyone could see and know, who is yours and only yours.

Gil smiled and waved at you, his eyes shining with love and pride. He knew how talented you were and how much you enjoyed music. He blew you a kiss and mouthed "I love you" as you started to sing.

After you finished the song, you and the girls walked off the stage..."AHHH!" You, Olivia, Jane, Nancy and Cynthia (believe it or not), squealed in happiness. "We did it!" You said. "No, you did it, Y/N." Jane smiled. Olivia, Nancy and Cynthia nodded their heads in agreement. You felt a warm blush spread across your cheeks as you hugged your friends. "Thank you, guys. You're the best." You said. "No, thank you for being our lead singer. You have an amazing voice, Y/N." Cynthia said. "Yeah, you totally rocked the stage!" Nancy added. "The crowd loved you!" Olivia exclaimed. "And so did someone else..." Jane winked at you, pointing to a familiar figure waiting by the bar. You blushed. "Okay, I'mma go talk, Gil." "Go, go, go!" The girls forced you to go as they lightly pushed you next to him. You gave them a playful glare as they left you alone with your boyfriend.

You smiled nervously as you approached him. He turned around and his eyes widened when he saw you. He wrapped his arms around you and lifted you up, spinning you around. "You were amazing, babe!" He said, kissing your cheek. "You're the best singer I've ever heard!" You giggled as he put you down. "Thank you, Gil. You're the best boyfriend I've ever had." You said, looking into his eyes. He leaned in and kissed you softly, making you melt. You wrapped your arms around his neck and deepened the kiss, feeling his tongue explore your mouth. He pulled away and rested his forehead against yours. "I love you, Y/N L/N." He whispered. "I love you too, Gil Rizzo." You whispered back. Gil smiled and took your hand, leading you to the dance floor. You followed him happily, feeling his warm body against yours. You danced with him, feeling his heartbeat in sync with yours. You felt like nothing could ruin this moment. You felt like you were on top of the world.

Alright so I saw Wish a while ago and here's some controversial takes.

I enjoyed it. I really enjoyed it. Hell. 8/10. I enjoyed it that much. Here's my thoughts. Under spoilers because you will get mad, especially if you define yourself by 90s and current Disney movies.

Unless you know me really well. Then you saw this coming. And I already told you.

May there be no more twist villains or WOE IS ME! I AM GOOD INSIDE HONEST! Rebecca Sugar effect villains.

Happy divorce! GIRL YOU DESERVE IT! When was the last time we had a nice divorce like this? Parent Trap was a sad, miserable divorce. But when did we show that divorce was a GOOD thing in some cases? Only respect for my queen.

We been knew Sleepy was a snitch.

Disability rep at long last that isn't evil or eldery AND she impacts the plot.

Dahlia is my favorite and I love her.

Dahlia has her predecessor's anxiety and public speaking problem and I could cry so much cause that's an easter egg only I know and none of you will appreciate. So there.

Golden and silver age references as opposed to the Renaissance. Chef's kiss. There's a lot of Disney out there. Seeing even the Xerox era get respect was wonderful. Renaissance? Take a backseat, please. You already get favoritism as it is. You get so much merch so seeing a few extra things just for us fans? Yeah. Yeah it feels nice to be appreciated JUST ONCE cause we never will be EVER AGAIN after this.

If you call Asha adorkable for saying her face hurts/feels like it's stuck after working a tour guide job, I'm personally coming for you. As a former tour guide. Cause I have done this after EVERY SINGLE SHIFT. Because you're an asshole. Yes I said it. I'm not adorkable for smiling so hard my muscles went numb. But I am pissed at you for being a prick. And that's what you are. A prick.

This movie suffers from 'the straights are not okay' because they keep shipping Asha with any white man (emphasis on man) they can find, including her grandpa in Star form because he looked like Jack Frost in a earlier phase. Dude it was her grandpa and no I don't want your fanart even though "BUT IT LOOKED PRETTY!" But I know the only reason he has icy blond locks is because it's her grandpa AND IT EVEN HAS SIMILAR FACIAL FEATURES TO ASHA. GROSS MY DUDE. Yeah sorry if you feel personally attacked but no, this really wigs me out. Sorry if that upsets you but I KNOW THIS AND I HAVE THE ART BOOK. Says ASHA'S GRANDPA, SABINO, before we decided he should be alive and impact the plot himself! And... YEAH. Yeah, there.

You could literally ship her all cute with ANY of her friends but you go for the old white men in her life, kinda weird but OKAY THEN!

The movie needed ten or twenty more minutes more so I could chill with The Seven or Amaya. I just wanted more. That's me though.

Bazeema. Bazeema could hide bodies. Let her.

Harvey Guillen voicing Gabo is proof that Disney knows we gay coded Grumpy and they're in silent agreement but won't do much right now other than giggle with us so... thank you, Wish, for being immature with the fandom right now. The Snow White fandom thanks you.

Music was great. No subpar show stoppers that make me go THANKS FOR THE FIVE MINUTE WAIT TO RESTATE EVERYTHING I ALREADY KNOW ELSA.

The music fits together nicely. It's a soundtrack I can listen to without skipping anything because my brain isn't thrown out of whack. Everything segues nicely. I don't hate anything. I like it all.

For example, I feel this way about the Coco soundtrack. While I dislike the contemporary version of Remember Me, I can leave on the entire soundtrack and do anything. There's nothing bad about it. It's great. I sing along or I just vibe during instrumental pieces. I can do this for Snow White, Pinocchio, and Mary Poppins. I cannot do this for many other soundtracks. CONSIDER THIS A VERY HIGH HONOR FROM ME.

No, people just went in with shitty mindsets before reviewing and I'm actually looking for a good negative review because I'd probably agree with them cause different strokes for different folks. Cause no seriously someone said Cruella had more depth than Magnifico. And I love Cruella but... friendo. She's not that deep, she really isn't. I wanna sit that person down and just ask them how deep "old friend from college envies your dog's sparkly coat and steals them cause fashion". She's not that deep, truly. Glenn Close did spectacular but SHE'S ABOUT AS DEEP AS A PUDDLE. And if you mean that Emma Stone movie, no you don't. That movie doesn't exist. Cruella doesn't have some life long grudge against dalmatians because that's stupid and why would you ever write something as stupid as that? Because you wouldn't and it was a collective bad dream we all had. tl;dr I really enjoyed Wish and it makes me realize how much bad writing exists not just in animation but in Hollywood in general and maybe we stop finding some of these things acceptable from now on.

Magnus Hammersmith (Metalocalypse)

Real fucked up of the creators of this show to take my celebrity crush + bisexual awakening as the visual reference for a character who's always partially shirtless and wielding a knife. Also there's a 5000 year old prophecy that says his destiny is to be a forgotten loser.

2. Captain Nemo/Prince Dakkar (Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea)

The gif is from the Disney movie, but my heart belongs to the original novel characterization. Genius inventor who turned his back from society, but not from marginalized people. Good at everything except for not falling down self-destructive spirals. Takes money from sunken colonialist warships and uses it to fund revolutions. Serves as a haunting metaphor as the ocean itself. Please when will we have a faithful adaptation?

3. Thoth (The Kane Chronicles interpretation)

I am specifically going with The Kane Chronicles' interpretation of this Egyptian god. Especially compared to a lot of other interpretations of him in modern media, I like how the book doesn't portray him as this stuffy "everyone is an idiot except me" kind of guy. It's really refreshing seeing an interpretation of a god of knowledge who is clearly scary-powerful and a genius, but is also the ADHD weirdo who keeps getting distracted and can't finish his projects. I also like how he doesn't brush off the protagonists because they're mortals or teenagers or whatever. The book does a great job showing how his brain works and how he thinks, which makes him a lot more effective as a god of knowledge imo. Also they made him relocate in Memphis, Tennessee? After so many British adaptations of him, it's refreshing to see a god of knowledge with a southern accent (if you listen to the audiobook).

It's so good, it almost makes up for the book's interpretation of Anubis.

4. Vivienne (Dragon Age)

I thought for a while about which Dragon Age character I should add. While there are characters I made more stuff about during my peak years in the fandom, Vivienne is the main character I keep going back to. I love her elegance, the way she's written, her voice acting, her look??? Fashion/character design in the franchise peaked with her. Also as far as a Circle character goes, I find her utterly fascinating as someone having to survive in an oppressive system and developing different/conflicting perspectives about it. I think she was a much-needed perspective and I adore her. Also now I was just reminded of the trend of people having their white mage ocs or the other white mage characters "educate" her about oppression and now I'm mad about Dragon Age bs again lol. Vivienne is the best choice for divine don't @ me.

5. Dale Cooper (Twin Peaks)

*Holds him up like a a cat* he's nice :)

I've rewatched this show (the main series - haven't gotten around to watching the new show) and every time I find more reasons to love him. He could have so easily been this brooding cynical noir type, but instead he's this ray of sunshine who sees the beauty and joy in everything around him. I'm glad he's okay :)

6. Shaolin Fantastic (The Get Down)

Putting aside my heartbreak over this show's cancellation for a second to talk about how good the cast is. I thought about choosing Zeke, but I couldn't not choose Shaolin. I love how he's introduced as this mysterious genius who was willing to fight a man in an alley for a record, but then the main crew gets to know him and he's a huge dork? He takes care of pigeons, he samples the Star Wars theme in his DJ sets, he's nice :) Also the cool big brother vibe he has with the younger characters is really cute. It would suck if this show got cancelled so the story will always end with him being forced to go back to his abuser :) that would suck.

7. Nozomu Itoshiki (Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei)

I think he's funny and pretty and I hope he gets therapy.

8. Bella Goth (The Sims)

Weird to add a Sims character maybe, but not doing so would be a disservice to the chokehold this woman had on me as a younger player. 10 year old me broke my copy of TS2 because I fucked up the game files by trying to get Bella back.

9. Benny (Fallout: New Vegas)

I knew I had to pick a FNV character. I considered Silus, since he's interesting for a Legion character. But in the end I went with Benny. He has the best aesthetic, and his evolution from "the guy who shot you and instigated your protagonist's whole plot" to "pathetic little guy who agrees to help you take down the system because everyone sucks--and also he's into feet" is some masterful character growth.

10. Rumpelstiltskin/Mr. Gold (Once Upon a Time)

This show is a mess, but the scene where he beats that man with his cane was kinda hot. Also you can't make a man 1. the most powerful force in the universe, 2. somehow still pathetic, 3. have that hairstyle, 4. trying to be a good father and partner but always failing because of his own selfishness, and 5. Scottish, and not expect me to enjoy him. Robert Carlyle put his entire rumpelstussy into that performance.

I don't really do x reader stuff, but I've also never tried it. If I do, it will suck for a while.

Considering how surpringly well my other Cruella x Daisy moodboard was received, I thought that I'd make one with their Disney Mirrorverse counterparts.

You could imagine my sheer and utter joy when they announced Daisy was coming to Disney Mirrorverse. Not only does Daisy's design look fantastic, but she also has a raygun like Cruella. And I've always thought that Cruella looked fine as hell in that catsuit lol. X3

... I'm ashamed to say that younger me would have said kiss to Kaa. Me now though? I'll give him a snoot kiss. Even if he is a villain, he is a snake and as such that snoot will be booped/kissed. I'm gonna say kiss too, but only Patchy (... ok Sideburns can have a smooch too, but after Patchy). I honestly forgot I was fond of these guys, especially Patchy, until I found your blog.

So far this whole list, including Razoul, are surprising me with how I choose kiss for them XD Before I didn't even think twice about this guy, but now I can definitely see the appeal.

Monsieur D'arque though is the first diss. I like some older characters, and he is not one of them XD

The Duke is also not one of them (I'm on mobile so no yellow for me). Two disses so far.

What absolutely unzips and guts me in "fandom" and it's perception and understanding of media is that the loud and obnoxious majority never left first grade. At least not when it comes to critical thinking. And promptly fell into the "Stalin trap" of art = education and morality.

Art isn't Sunday School. Many many times it's not even glorification, it is simply description. It is simply a person saying "hey, look how those freaks are living." And that's it.

Disney/kids media "has" to have a message, a morally and ethically correct ending. Good guys win bad guys lose. It was hard but worth it and we have time to make good memories. Cause kids are supposed to be safe when they watch it and are sponges who would believe anything you tell them.

But outside the Disney bubble art does not have to explain to you that it's about bad shit and that you as a viewer shouldn't be doing bad shit.

There is only the narrative. The narrative is made up. The people beholden to the narrative aka the characters are made up. They don't shit or breathe without a writer.

If you want to make uplifting art with correct messages, please do. There already is art with correct messages, please enjoy.

But no one owes you that. No one owes you Sunday School morality lessons. Not when creating and not when enjoying/consuming. If you are the type of dumbass to watch Hannibal - any media at this point - and go out and eat people cause the dude in the TV did it, that's on you. Like, you are the idiot. Not the (book) writer, show creator and writer and not the actors.

If you are too stupid to understand that Killing Eve has 1) the word KILLING in its title and the characters names follow and 2) is about a murderer and an officer of the law - at the beginning - who then also kills, its not the show burying gays, it's not a wrong message for mentally ill people (who are apparentlyin your head murderers???). It's a realistic depiction of a killers life. Like ???!!!! We can argue it was sloppy writing - cause it was - but never the fact that it was correct and expected to kill one of them, esp. Villanelle who only in death could be free, obviously, as she has killed people for money and cause she wanted to. Again, like ????!!! What is not clicking? Watch ATLA for a kids redemption.

Art is literally just about shining a light on other people's houses and going "look". It's fine if you want to watch morally good freaks but it's so embarrassing when fandom refuses to simply watch shit, let it be what it is, and instead is busy churning out coffeeshop fics and getting mad at the creator that they didn't film a scene from AO3.

Fuck off and watch stuff made for kids, watch stuff that is always correctly labeled (Ted Lasso and those pirate dudes) or create that correct art you want. But don't show your whole uneducated ass by getting mad at a foreshadowed death cause now your coffeshop fic is an AU.

There are shows like pushing daisies, and they are good quality wise and morally wise. Managing your expectations is a thing you need to do when engaging with media. And as shesnake already said multiple times there is fucking gay rep but if you idiots can't watch anything that isn't mainstream you will never find it and never proof demand for it. Shouting at killing eve creators does not proof demand, only media illiteracy.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

So yeah, if you repeatedly watch shows about murder and bad people I guess characters will die, deserving or not. Over and over and multiple times over. And it will make you sad but to escape this you only have to change your program choice. Literally a personal choice. Media enjoyment is in your own hands.
