this though. i’ve seen people saying that naruto and sasuke’s relationship basically consisted of “one being better than the other” and yet sasuke himself says he and naruto got stronger together.

and yes, there was a part of them that wanted to win and “be better”. but when they said they wanted to fight the other, it’s much more about acknowledging the other’s strength as an equal. that’s also why when there it has to be a winner both at vote1 and vote2, naruto says that wasn’t the fight he wanted.

this panel also changes what some people thought of sasuke. it wasn’t only his jealousy and inferiority complex towards naruto after naruto improved his skills. he really felt like naruto was progressing without him, leaving him behind, alone.

Neither are satiated, for it is never enough.

These animals must seek mental emancipation,

through evolution and revolution.

Cleansing themselves of the toxins

they eat in their feed troughs.

But they are afraid.

Many of them will die,

even more will suffer.

I came to terms with the Sol kinnie thing months ago now because honestly who gives a shit, but every now and then I'll find myself in a situation where I wonder if whatever it was I was about to do was/is a pre- or post-Guilty Gear interest lol

I do actually care #Sol is like frighteningly relatable though and sometimes I wish he wasn't lol #I typed this at 2am last night but saved it to my drafts instead of publishing it haha Still kinda feeling it this morning though tbh #I wish I could better articulate or find a term that describes how I relate to Sol better because 'kin/fictionkin' feels too...#Hmm.... Psycho-religious?
