i have a whole parkner universe in my google docs. a whole seven fic long universe. i just need to finish the fic i'm currently writing and then i can unleash this universe that has been developing for over a year and i have been adding to and editing and writing nearly everyday.

genuinely though, this is so exciting to me because i have roughly about 3 chapters left of my current fic, one continuous fic that i need to pre-write a few chapters for, and then i can release my actual baby. the work i'm most proud of. the stuff that i've put all my effort into.

however, if the people on ao3 don't appreciate it i'm going to curl up in a ball and cry and then probably delete it because that's HOURS of work and i promise you i've put my EVERYTHING into it. anyway that's how excited i am to finally give this universe to the world when i'm done with everything else

Verbanden & Geesten

Chapters 1 & 2 of Verbanden & Geesten, the 11 story in the Kanej Wensen series, are now up on A03.

This title, Ties & Ghosts, is quite literal as well as metaphorical. I went into some interesting challenges with this story. There's no smut, but plenty of action, emotion, and exploration. I even did my first Wylan POV, plus you get another OC POV. Chapter 3 comes tomorrow, after I comb through it one last time. It was the hardest chapter to produce, and one of the pieces that wrung every last emotion out of me while writing it. I sincerely hope my readers will relish seeing Kaz spend time at his family's farm after nearly a decade.

Summary for V&B:

Kaz deals with waiting for Inej to return, gang politics with the Razorgulls, redecorating his bedroom, getting a tattoo, and a visit to his childhood home. Jesper and Wylan visit the Slat, meet Krai, and help Kaz out with some gang politics, among other things.

“I didn’t steal your car” Peter retorted after a few more minutes “I found your keys and took your car to the beach”

“My point still stands” peter defended

“So does mine” Harley replied, not mad. How could he be mad at Peter for feeling how he was feeling. For going through whatever he was going through. How could he ever be mad at Peter.

“Do you ever think we’re too young for this?” Peter asked instead of offering a response to Harley’s argument

“Not really, why?” Harley asked and Peter shrugged uncomfortably

Let me just say I need more fanfics of Peter and Harley at the beach together. Whether they take a trip while they're dating or they meet at the beach and have a summer romance I need it. I need Peter having Harley put sunscreen on him to keep him from burning and Harley teasing him about his inability to tan. I was just doing Spanish work and I got an idea. I heard that people learned other languages by reading fanfic (I am nowhere near that level) but I was just thinking I could brush it up by writing fanfic in Spanish. Like sure it is going to be some simple little scenes but as I learn I can do more with it.

i just went through all my parkner docs, as in, all my wips and i have:

3 half written: one about them spending summer together, one where they don't get along at first but secretly care about each other, and one about magic & kingdoms and is extremely slow burn

3 planned out: songfic w musician!harley and i'm not sure whether it'll have a happy or sad ending (i'll probably leave it ambiguous), songfic where they're boyfriends as harley and peter but hate each other as iron lad and spider-man (peter puts the pieces together, etc), songfic where harley gets kicked out of rose hill because he keeps getting arrested and tony takes him and sends him to midtown in to 'sort him out' (he basically just wanted to escape rose hill anyway)

and Multiple with basic ideas/themes but no planning

so, once exams are over, where do i start???

It’s a Thursday night. He and Peter don’t have school tomorrow, but they have to get up earlier than they usually would on a day with no school, for a dumb meeting with Tony and some no-name company.

It’s now 9:16pm on a chilled winter night, they could see their breaths in front of them with every exhale. They were going to head to bed soon, they had to wake up at six in the morning for a meeting at eight.

Both of them were outside for the main reason of wanting to get sick so they didn’t have to go to the meeting tomorrow.

Peter was wrapped up in a blanket with a toque covering his ears. His nose and lips are red, his fingers probably are too. Harley was wearing a simple hoodie and toque, his right hand in Peter’s lap.

Both boys' necks ached from looking up at the twinkling lights in the sky. Well, one of them is going to have a sore neck in the morning.

Peter busied himself with softly playing with his boyfriend’s fingers, he stared up into the black void that’s littered with stars. Harley on the other hand, had his head turned away from extraordinary sight above them, and was taking in the sight of Peter.

He wasn’t one bit interested in astronomy, stuff like that, but his eyes had a wondered look, like he had every thought of the world hidden behind them.

Peter’s face is dimly lit by the shine of the moon and stars. His beautiful face is still visible for Harley, so there’s no problem that needs to be fixed. Peter is happy, Harley is happy because of that. That’s all Harley needs.
