I am not sure want kind of genre this book is, as it looks to me Sci-Fi-Horror or thriller-fantasy as the clowm seems to be able to do everything in a whip like magic ,even murdering and kidnapping police! For me it was a very long story ,which more and more confusing till i lost all track! Way to many characters palying in the plot! and messy storyline! Conclusion: a long horror fantasy story,very complex ,confusing and messy! way to many characterd involved! surely not a easy reader but the opposite! rating: for me a 3.5 star

I was tagged by my good butch @airborneranger63 and I guess I’ll have to obey the law of tumblrland and answer some questions. I might be wrong, but I think it only has 20 questions, but here we go.

Nickname(s): In my country, you get an “official” nickname from your parents by birth, remained unchanged for the rest of your life and that shit is pretty personal... anyway, I am called the glue kid in your equivalent of middle school, the sane *my actual nickname* in high school (because someone with the same nickname bite people.)

Zodiac sign: I am an Asian kid so I get to use The Hindu Zodiac. (It actually has a different date for each sign, idk if I am in the same sign if I use Greek dating.) I am a dragon which means I am a fish-goat thing.

Height: Around 165 cm which is 5 feet 461⁄64 inches btw.

Random fact: Guess I gonna go with url origin too. Nopakun literally means “nine virtue/nine benefit”, but the correct translation would be “Gold with high purity” because, in the past, this kind of gold is considered top quality and must be brought with silver nine times its weight.

My sub blog’s name is Noparath that means “Nine precious glasses/precious gems”. “Rath” is also culturally used as virtue/any positive thing. So I get to have one name for precious metal and one for precious gems that sound alike. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Aesthetic: I don’t have one yet. I just dressed in comfy cheap shits or anything they got for me. Maybe I have a studyblr vibe when I am tired of actually studying and just try to stack things together. Try to befriend a crow, but got rejected. Or that poor sap that has high blood sodium, low bicarb, low pH and them freshly graduated doctors IV him basic 5% dextrose water and completely ignore his blood sugar level and almost kill him, in other words, completely avoidable disaster if someone has used common sense.

3/100 Days of Productivity!

I'm still sick but I'm doing good academically! at least I think!

Done with my pali assignment! (on day 4 morning btw)

Also done with my HSKK class!

I'm still studying Japanese at N3 level because I'm not ready for N2 yet... Hyouka is helping me along.

A new semester for HGU UNITWIN starts tomorrow! Worldview studies and Health Psychology here I come!!!

I finished "The Con Job" which is a Leverage novel and it was honestly disappointing since I'm rewatching the show. But I'm still gonna pick up "The Zoo Job"

On this week's HAIYUU book club activity: We're reading the little prince! Last week my friend chose that book and I was astounded by the amount of people who thought it was a children's book(??!??) Anyway, we're gonna discuss translations too since we decided to let the readers pick the language of the book they wanted. Personally, I'm reading it in Chinese.

My tonsilitis still persists. Now I have body aches. Idk when I'll get better but god, it better be soon.

I'm a week late lol but I have updates!!

- Started taking HSKK (Chinese Speaking Proficiency Test) advanced prep class :D We're all advanced learners in here with HSK 5/6 levels so the teacher is speaking in Chinese the whole time and I'm so happy that I can understand 99% of what she's saying but also I found out my Chinese speaking has really diminished 😭 Thank god I was able to introduce myself and answer her questions in Chinese but the mock tests are kicking my ass no doubt.

- J.Test (Japanese language exam) released the correct answers and I got enough marks to pass JLPT N3 level!! I'm still waiting for formal result announcements but I'm pretty sure I got it!! :D

- Started teaching a new basic Chinese class so now I have to teach 4 days per week. It's a bit tough but I think I'm making it work?

- the level 1 Chinese class I'm teaching is going to end in February so I'm gonna have to prep for the level 2 class and THEN prep and record my basic Korean classes. I'll tell y'all how it goes

- I have 100% grade but still missing classes for Pali Diploma and will have to make up a lot in the future. Thank god they don't grade attendances 😭

- I have a slight fever right now so I'm chugging Lipovitan-D to keep me going. I have a tarot session booked this afternon and a chinese class to teach so can't really rest Unfortunately :/ but Dimension 20 FHJY is helping me with my mood.

100 Days of Productivity Challenge ☕✨

I made it through the other side but well, I have assignments piling up right now. There ain't no rest for the wicked I guess.

Things I did during the challenge

Leveled up my Japanese and passed J.Test D Level (JLPT N3) Equivalent

Leveled up my Chinese skills by taking an advance speaking and prep course

Started learning Pali language

Taught 2 chinese classes and one korean class! All of them good memories~

Successfully ran three paid telegram channels to help people in need in Myanmar

Did a free language consultation program to help out people who are trying to learn new languages

Raised money for people in Myanmar by tarot reading, selling ebooks etc

Put my health first even though it sucked to not have an income for 2 weeks

Saved money and learned how to budget and manage my finances

Re-kindled a past connection with someone who made me feel alive and happy, and who is now making me feel alive and happy

Watched/Listened to a lot of new stuff and also read good books!

Worked a lot on my WIPs, even though they aren't urgent, they're important to me

Found out new things to enjoy in life. Journaling, new coffee, new food, candles etc :) I bought myself a phone stand and now my neck and hand nerves suffer less! And I make my cats and my friends happy! I buy my family food and drinks!

Realized life is infinitely complex and hard and full of suffering but I don't have to be like that. I can make people smile via gifts and acts of service. I can be of help. And I don't even need to burn out myself to do it because my friends and family love me as well :)

Here's to many more weeks and many more days~

After a good night's sleep, I'm off to go sign up for a HSKK (advanced) class which is advanced Chinese speaking for a test. And then I'm going to spend the whole evening and the night at the boardgame store! :D

Welcome to my Studyblr! ✨

I've been here since 2014 but well, I never got around to actually introducing myself, I guess? Here I go.

My name is Helen (They/Them).

24 year old Queer INFP Capricorn in Myanmar.

What am I learning? Well, a lot of things but mostly languages, literature, and psychology.

I am a native Burmese speaker but I also speak other languages! English (C2), Korean (TOPIK 6) Mandarin Chinese (HSK5) and Japanese (JLPT N3) respectively. I try to keep my certifications up to date but covid made it really difficult.

I'm working towards a Diploma in Pali.

I am also learning Spanish, Russian, Latin, ASL etc and absolutely getting my ass kicked by them.

I'm a freelance translator, writer, tarot reader, astrologist, language study guide, language instructor and a bookseller by trade!

I don't do all of those at once. I just sort of... rotate them if that makes sense. 2 at a time, 3 at a time etc.

I am very hardworking but I also have neck arthritis (Cervical Spondylosis), ADHD and Social Anxiety so it's a struggle.

I also have tons of hobbies. I like reading books, writing reviews, journaling and writing fan fictions etc so I'm all over the place.

I have a lot of stray cats that I've adopted so you'll get to see them obstructing my studies as well!

My life's not very glamorous. I'm in Myanmar. With the wars going on, there ain't a lot to glamorize either. But I'm trying my best to hang on and also help others hang on. So you'll see me talking about free consultations and free lectures and humanitarian aid stuff etc.

I run a weekly book club called "HAIYUU" with my friend! HAIYUU stands for 俳友 which is Haiku friends and it's so fun!

I also run a paid telegram channel for tarot/oracle readings with my Haiyuu co-host as well as other friends

I'm taking it one day at a time.

10/100 days of productivity

I finally cleaned up my table so that I can take better pictures for my studyblr lmao. Also I'm trying out a new format on this post so let me know what it looks like!

Study

finished hyouka manga volume 11 in Japanese! and I'm starting volume 12. I learned a lot of vocabularies that I wasn't expecting to learn because they went on about the history of the science behind chocolate making.

Work

prepared materials for my chinese and korean classes, which took me three hours.

taught said classes for three hours.

Life

I'm still reading the original novel of Hyouka, which is "the niece of time" in Kotenbu series.

Chatted with a bunch of friends in my tarot telegram channel after classes and tbh it feels so good to just talk about nothing with a bunch of fun-loving women who love and respect you.

Got two cups of takeaway coffee! I'm spending my hard-earned money in the way that makes me happy and no one can take my latte or mocha away from me.

In addition to the coffees, my mom bought me sushi, that is salmon and tuna sashimi. My aunt made one of my favorite dishes. Because they knew teaching two classes is hard for me. I wanted to cry with joy.

Others

I'm trying out a new app called "Do It Now" and it's fun as heck. It is an RPG style productivity app where you level up yourself and honestly, I can't play dnd so what the heck, right?

I'm grateful one of my friends got her friend to sign up for my chinese level 2 class. I only had 2 learners and I didn't feel good. But now I have four people in class and for four people, I can try hard for two months! I love teaching!

To Do List

I need to finish two urgent tarot readings in eight hours. Also several non-urgent readings.

Study Worldview Studies and Health Psychology by today.

Finish reading the book I picked out for my bookclub.

Study pali for the upcoming assignment and exam on 31st march.
