yone loves a routine. but more importantly, he loves it away from heartsteel. don't get him wrong, he enjoys his bandmates, chaos and all, but sometimes he just needs a quiet place to work. imagine his delight when he stumbles across your bookstore, a quaint place tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
you are ever-present, ever comforting, and always there to lend an ear when he asks, "hey, sorry to bother, but do you think this sample is alright?" he notes your expressions, scrutinizing each piece to make sure you have something meaningful to say.
in return, he'll ask you about your favorite books, your recommendations and if you're working on anything yourself. it's an exchange of creativity that he craves, even in the early hours of the morning when you've just opened up shop and the sun is peeking slightly over the horizon.
the first time you pad over, holding a new book in hand, expression puzzled, he can't stop the light flutter of his heart, it's wings beating like a butterfly searching for a drink.
"look at this new book i got," you chime, handing him over the heavy hard-cover series, "have you read it?"
he'll shake his head, tucking a piece of hair behind his ear to fake getting a better look, before replying, "nope. any idea who it's from?"
you do the same, but spread a wide smile on your face. "honestly, i'm flattered. i didn't think anyone paid attention to me like that. they should spend more time looking at you."
"it's the red hair isn't it?" he jokes back and you'll giggle, a sound that's prettier than the chime of the bell on the top of your door.
the weeks continue on, the look of delight on your face a welcoming sight every time he comes in. he listens intently when you ramble about your admirer, the newest book you got, and more importantly, how it makes you feel.
he decides to step his game up, adding in little trinkets and confectionary with each book drop off. he thinks you have no clue, in fact, he's so confident you don't that he even starts leaving handwritten notes within them. but you are no fool, there's no one else you've ever spoken to about the intricacies of your own heart. no one else knows which stories captivate you the most. only yone.
"another book i see," he hums, taking a sip from his coffee and missing the glint in your eye when he asks. "still no clue who it's from right?"
"y'know," you say, taking a seat across from him. "actually, i think i have a little bit of an idea."
"oh... really?" he answers, trying his best to maintain eye-contact.
you nod again, "mhm." a small, yet shy smile on painted on your features, but you also struggle to make eye-contact, the sudden weight of your confession looming over you.
there's an uncomfortable silence that drapes over the two of you, or at least, yone thinks there is. he opens his mouth to apologize, so clear that he's been caught, but you cut him off.
"or actually, maybe, i know nothing at all." you say, quickly getting up and gathering up your things. maybe you'd like things to stay like this for a while, it's comfortable and cozy. "sorry about that."
"huh? oh no, don't-"
"would you like to go on a date sometime?" you interrupt again, clammy hands holding the book up to your chest.
for a moment, yone just stares at you. knowing that if things goes well, ezreal and kayn are definitely not letting him live this down. he can hear them now, exclaiming, "what do you mean you were too scared to ask them out on a date?! so uncool yone."
he also knows that letting you in means that you'll get hounded by them too, but you'll deal with it when you get there... if you get there. and yone decides that he's okay with that.
"sure," he grins, taking one of your hands in his. "i'd love to."

Hi Wendy! I'm a huge fan of your work! I have a bad case of Koko brainrot and I need to know... how do you think sharing a bed with him (in a platonic/nonsexual way) would be like? I have a feeling the man is fastidious even while asleep lol.
I'm torn between him being a secret sleep cuddlebug (don't dare you move an inch, just accept your fate and go back to sleep) or an absolute "don't intrude in the sanctity of my legroom" type.

Only One Bed: Kokonoi Hajime x Fem!Reader

"Stay on that side of the bed." Kokonoi points at the unmussed side with a single finger. "Don't touch me during the night."
You give Kokonoi a bit of side-eye before peeling back the covers. "Okay," you exhale, shrugging. "Whatever."
"I'm going to call the front desk to see if they have any other rooms available." Kokonoi treks over to the desk in the corner and picks up the phone, scowling at it as he punches in the number '0' on the keypad.
"Yes, this is room 684." There's a pause. "I was wondering if you could check to see if there are any other rooms available." Kokonoi waits, listening intently to what the person on the other end has to say.
"Are you sure there's nothing else?" Then,
"You have to be--" And,
"Fine." Kokonoi slams the phone back down on the receiver and huffs a breath out.
"You're being a drama queen," you chastise, sinking deeper into the bed when he gives you a look that could wither trees.
"One bed isn't the flex people think it is," he grumbles, shuffling back over to the piece of furniture. "Scoot over!"
"I'm already as far as I can go," you toss back, irritated. "Sorry, I'm not more alluring for you." There's no response as Kokonoi settles under the covers and groans, yanking the top sheet closer to him. You don't even want to fight with him about it, so you close your eyes and try. to sleep.
Five hours into a semi-decent rest, you wake up sweating from head to toe. And Kokonoi is laced around you, snoring his head off. His arms are wrapped around your chest, and his head is right next to yours - almost as if he'd fallen asleep right next to you.
You try to untangle yourself from him, but he just gets tighter around you, preventing any and all movement.
"You've got to be fucking--"
Kokonoi snores so loudly in your ear that you can almost hear the early onset of tinnitus. You sigh and succumb to your destiny as the body pillow before closing your eyes and trying to sleep.
And if he were to tell it, Kokonoi would say he slept on his side of the bed all night long.

I discovered Nasty Red Dogs and Feast For A King from this tournament, and honestly I'm so glad I did. Not only do I really love the stories, confusing and (sometimes) disturbing as they are, but I also love the art.
Some of the earlier entries for both can be a little messy and hard to figure out what's happening, but I can definitely see how Kosmic (the author) improves over their duration. There's also some fully rendered pieces scattered throughout that really let Kosmic's art shine.
Feast For A King especially has a great sense of humour, and does a really good job at using the art style to support the jokes.
They both also have multiple tran's characters, not just the ones nominated for the tournament.
Anyway, I know it's probably too early for propaganda, but I just wanted to encourage you or anyone over 18 to read them, because they are both really interesting. I'd probably say to start with Nasty Red Dogs, since it's currently quite a bit shorter and easier to keep track of, at least at this stage (only 684 pages compared to 7,558).
Also, have some screenshots. None should really have spoilers.

A/N: this was totally inspired by a Sebastian Stan gif that made me think of our boy Bucky. This was meant for Valentines but I've been super busy with work so...I post when I can.
I'll be dusting off my drafts and posting whatever I find...So enjoy :)

After a couple of dates with Bucky you’re still learning so much about him while discovering some things about yourself. It’s not the same reading intel from a dossier than getting it right from the source.
You’ve learned so much. For example, Bucky likes to eat a lot so he hides his snacks all over the compound, just like he hides weapons. Bucky also feels more comfortable wearing long sleeves, the more clothes the better– you thought that had to do with the cold, but really it comes from being on the run so much. It’s easier to wear more layers of clothes than it is to carry them around, plus it comes in handy for a quick change.
He’s also a bit of a nerd, the man loves to read.
And read he loves, especially your body language. He’s quite masterful at it. He can tell just by the way you stand which mood you’re in.
That’s how he knows he’s annoying you right now. That and the muttered “slut!’ under your breath.
Bucky is sitting on the couch literally not doing anything in particular, just sitting there with his hands folded on his lap, legs spread wide. He’s waiting for you to finish typing a mission report so you can grab dinner with him. So when he hears your muttered voice he looks up to find your eyes trained on him over the lid of the laptop you’re typing on.
“What’s that?” He asks.
“Nothing.” You roll your eyes at him and resume typing, pressing the keys way too hard.
Bucky gets up from the couch and pulls up a chair and settles next to you. He stares at your profile, you try- you really do- to ignore him. But he’s relentless. Out of the corner of your eyes you catch him giving you the puppy eyes. Your ultimate weakness. You resist for all two seconds, then feel his chin propped on your shoulder. You keep typing…until he presses his lips to your cheek. His stubble makes you giggle.
“James…” you turn to face him, puppy eyes greet you along with a pouty lip.
Be strong! Don’t kiss him.
“Why did you call me a slut?”
You take a deep breath and shut your laptop, “Because you’re sitting there looking all super hot with my favorite sweater of yours on, waiting for me like the perfect boyfriend, and your hands!”
“These old things?” he looks down at his hands.
“Yeah! Hands. Your hands are hot.” You grab his hands to make your point. “I mean they’re so big, like the rest of you. Not that I don’t like that– I didn’t mean to offend you or anything. You’re just big, but just right for me. I like that you’re big, tall, large. Now I’ve said ‘big’ too many times.”
Thankfully you didn't go into much detail on his widely spread legs. Those thighs send you on a doozy.
Bucky pecks your lips softly, pulling away with your breath. “You call me big one more time, we’re not gonna make it to dinner.”
“You giant piece of big big big big biggy biggest super soldier beefcake!”
“That’s it!” Bucky gets up and pulls you into his arms. He picks you up like he picks up his cat and carries you over his shoulder, giving you the perfect opportunity to grab a handful of his butt. When he gets you to his room and drops you on the bed he jokingly says, “I see you only want me for my body.”
You pull him down so he lays on top of you. “No, that’s an added bonus.” you grab him by the back of his neck and guide his lips to yours for a heated kiss.
When Bucky pulls away to catch his breath he smirks down at you, “You called me your boyfriend.”
“It sounds so juvenile. Right? Partner, is that better?”
“Baby, you can call me whatever you want, I’m yours.”
“Then come here, big boy.” You smile at him and pull him in for another kiss. “Slut.”
“Just for you, baby.”

Part 6 of A Treatise of Embroidery, crochet, and knitting with illustrations
By George C. Perkins, Anna Grayson Ford, and M. Heminway & Sons Silk co circa 1899.
Please note, this book was written in 1899, and as such uses a racist term to refer to the dyes that were used for the thread. If you'd like to read more about this period in time, the term, and the stereotypes that the Victorians had, I've actually linked the wikipedia article here that goes more in depth. It's not the end all be all of it, but it's a good starting place for anyone wanting to educate themselves on the topic.

This page has the pattern for the strawberry and blossoms embroidery on it. It resembles a paint by numbers/letters image with a table showing the corresponding colours. I will try my best to explain the image, but first the colour charts.
Berries-Ripe.
Red:
655 shade number 1, 655 shade number 2, 656 shade number 3, 657 shade number 4, 658 shade number 5, 659 shade number 6, 660 shade number 7, 661 shade number 8.
Blossoms:
691 shade number 9.
Centre:
647 shade number 10, 409 1/2 shade number 11, 410 shade number 12.
Unripe Berries:
682 shade number 13, 683 shade number 14, 684 shade number 15.

Green:

Materials. — M. Heminway & Sons' Oriental Dyes, Japan and Spanish Floss.
Berries. — Ripe and unripe; Red — "Sharpless variety" — 0655, 655, 656, 657, 658, 659, 660, 661. Unripe — 0655, 655, 656, 682, 683, 684. Blossoms.— 691, 682, 683, 0655. Centres. — 647, 409 1/2, 410. Leaves. — 0428, 428, 429, 429 1/2, 430, 431 ; or 370, 371, 372, 373, 374, 300, 301. Scallop. — 581 or 691. —Spanish Floss.
Design No. 153 — Strawberry. 18 inch. See Colored Plate C1.
Description.— Fill in berry crosswise, shortstitch on the wrong side, not much filling. For filling to raise the berry use M. Heminway & Sons' white Persian Floss. Start at the point of berry with two strands of red, 655, shading with one strand as dark red as 661. For an unripe berry start with light green, 682 and 683, shading into the green the light pink, 655, making the berry as ripe in color as 660. The seeds on the red berries put on with small stitches, gold, 409 1/2. On those that are not ripe use green, 428.
Blossoms. — White, 691, shadow of green, 682 on lower petals, touching a few of the new blossoms with light pink, 0655; pollen of 647, 409 1/2, 410.
Leaves. — On the outer edge of the leaf use two strands, shading toward centre with one, use a little brown, 300 and 301, for faded part of leaf.
Scallop. — Button-hole stitch in pink, 581, Spanish Floss, or 691, with an outline above scallop of one strand filo, 310.
Now I will describe the first illustration which shows the embroidery by letters/numbers diagram. I will be describing the image from the bottom to top as the spray of strawberries and blossoms flow in a diagonal from the bottom left to the upper right.
We start with two parallel, diagonal stems that branch off in multiple directions to hold the entirety of the design. The two stems are done in shade letters D and E. The rightmost stem slips under two leaves, forking into a third tendril, before the left fork curves gracefully to the right and ending in a strawberry. The right fork goes downwards and forms the triple fork from where the three large strawberry leaves all come from in this piece. An upper one, a bottom one, and one off to the right that is slightly twisted so the underside of the leaf tip is visible.
Shade letters for the bottommost leaf, from base to tip, left to right. Starting at the top where the base joins the stem:
1st row: E, O, R.
2nd row: E.
3rd row: F, C.
4th row: D, E, E, D.
5th row: B, D, C.
leaf tip: C.
For the twisted leaf at the right of the previous:
1st Row: C, D, C.
2nd Row: D, E, C.
3rd Row: C, D.
4th Row: E, D, B.
5th Row: F.
Leaf tip: A.
For the Upper Leaf:
1st Row: D, E.

Back at the beginning, where the stems are parallel, the leftmost stem forks before the two separate bits slip under the upper large leaf that we described earlier. The right fork curves up and to the left into a strawberry while the left fork curves up behind it. It would seem a second strawberry also emerges from a stem coming from behind the same leaf, although it does not show a fork. This berry sits just under the other.
Higher Strawberry:
1st Row: 4, 6.
2nd Row: 3, 2, 5, 3, 3.
3rd Row: 2, 15, 4, 8, 3.
4th Row: 14, 2.
Strawberry Tip: 13.
Lower Strawberry:
1st Row: 8.
2nd Row: 5, 6, 7, 5.
3rd Row: 4, 4, 5, 4.
4th Row: 2, 2, 2, 2.
5th row: 1, 1, 1.
Only two of the little strawberry leaf tops have any kind of letter indication, all of them combinations of C, D, and B, so your guess is as good as mine.
Emerging from the top strawberry is another series of three stems, two of which appear to have forked somewhere behind the berry unseen. The left stem goes up and then promptly forks before slipping under a fully bloomed strawberry blossom, and then emerging from the top with a single leaf gracing the end. Somewhere behind the flower another tendril has forked off this one and goes up to end in a tiny blossom not yet bloomed. Next to that is the stem that will be described in a few paragraphs, and then another stem leading to a small blossom, that is also not fully bloomed.
Big Blossom:
This has 5 petals in total, and all the petals are tipped in shade number 9, and all excepting the leftmost petal gradiate to shade number 13. The leftmost petal gradiates to shade number 14, and then the center is shade number 10.
Small Blossom:
9 at the tip, 13 at the base, there are 3 petals showing.
Tiny Blossom:
same, 9 tip, 13 base, also 3 petals showing.
Back to under the blossom, the right stem from the original fork leads up to an elegant waving stem that branches off into several tendrils mostly decorated with a pair of leaves each.
The left tendril from that fork extends up a ways, waving a bit and is done in shade letter B, and then forks one last time culminating in a pair of tiny leaves on the right fork and a waving tendril on the left that finishes in shade letter A.
Leaf 1:
Base E, Tip D.
Leaf 2:
Base C, Tip B.
The right tendril from the fork that leads into the last also immediately forks again ending in a pair of tiny leaves coming from each tendril.
From lowest leaf to highest, base to tip:
Leaf 1 right tendril: E.
Leaf 2 right tendril: D, C.
Leaf 3 Left Tendril: D, E.
Leaf 4 Left tendril: C, B.
all the tiny leaves leaves save one are done in two colours, one for the base and one for the tip. So wherever you decide to put a tiny leaf, you can keep the colour schemes in mind.
There is an image at the bottom captioned Design No 153- Strawberry. 18 inch. See Coloured Plate C1.
This has what appears to be a doily with an embroidered scalloped edge and the large strawberry image placed at the top and bottom of the doily, flowing with the circular edge. There is a small smattering of petals coming off of an extra pair of fallen blossoms that were added to one edge, and a small detached strawberry on the other.
All in all, thank you for your patience while I try to get these out. If anyone has any suggestions to make these easier to understand, my inbox is always open.

"Falling Early" Eragon x Reader
(A/N: Just a little meet cute, clumsy, adorable, and strangers insert reader. Sorry not sorry, Eragon. Something cute.
Warnings: None.
Word Count: 684 words)
Another day, another task to fulfill. Trading was the objective.
It was late into the morning when most traders gathered. The usual faces greeted the Rider as he looked over the offerings.
Eragon was. Doing his duty, making sure the goods needed were there. Checking the lengthy list.
The flaw in his plan? Unexpected faces.
Making eye contact with one person, you, and he stumbled over his own two feet. Catching himself was reflexive. Thankfully. He was glad he did not fall flat on his face. A couple of items hitting the ground would had been fine. It made him appear more mortal than mythical. Yet hardly an action to befall a leader.
If he had fallen, goodness, the leader of Mount Arngor eating dirt from one glance at a good-looking human would not had been something for others to overlook so easily. It was a close call.
So why did he possess the desire to talk to you? He didn’t need to. It wasn’t required. But, oh, did he find his legs leading in your direction regardless.
It was a rather small amount of goods surrounding you. Most having been traded off at the first smell of the bread loafs.
“Hello.” You greeted him with a bright smile and a twinkle of amusement in your eyes.
From the closer proximity, Eragon could count the various colors in your irises. A beautiful array of shades that complimented you.
“May I interest you in a fresh loaf of bread? Baked them this morning.”
“Er… Hi.” Eragon swallowed. It was as if both his throat and mind dried up.
Was the Dragon Rider nervous? Around a person selling bread?
His silence and wide brown eyes told a tale all on their own.
Your soft chuckle made a warmth lighten in his chest.
How was he not speaking already?
Eragon considered his behavior almost childish, but perhaps clumsy was the more accurate descriptor in his case.
Mentally shaking himself, the Rider nodded.
An improvement, Eragon thought, if I had never held a conversation before now.
Offering him a smile, you pointed to a loaf on your right. “This one was made with more grains; ones that help digestion.” You pointed to another. “This one is rich in flavor. It’s one of my favorites.”
They seem genuine. And the bread all smell…really, really good.
The Rider did not expect to take a detour from his usual stops. Yet the delicious aromas were bound to make him start salivating if he didn’t leave quickly. He had other supplies to look over.
“How much for both?” Eragon asked and mentally chided himself on his amateur wording.
Had he not been making deals and trade agreements for more than one season?
A soft giggle escaped you and his knees shook for a second longer than he cared to admit.
Cursing under his breath, the Rider dug out some pieces just as you gave a price. He already felt the tips of his ears burning.
I need to go, he thought, before I do anything else…unlike me?
Efficiently and swiftly, cloth enveloped the loaves and their delightful aromas. Packaged and waiting in your outstretched hands.
“Thank you.” He nodded politely and grabbed the packages. Flutters in his stomach surprising him as his hands met yours.
“I hope to see you again.”
Again, he nodded. A smile already on his face.
They have no idea who I am, do they? Maybe that’s for the best.
Turning to leave with at least an ounce of dignity worked beautifully as he stepped away from you. Simple and light footing.
Thump
The toe of his boot hit a wooden plank.
Closing his eyes, he sighed deeply.
A muffled giggle reached Eragon’s ears, but he dared not glance behind him.
He carried on without a word and hoped that you would forget his clumsiness. If not that, Eragon hoped he would settle the sparks of interest within him before they took root.
What would the Dragon Rider do with himself if he developed silly reactions to someone he forgot to inquire the name of?

Write another Gary Oldman RPF (many dialogue prompts already written). Here's my first Gary RPF if interested... it was set during the Dracula filming. The new one will be set after his divorce from Alex but before Gisele.
Reflection
I took a couple long breaks from writing this year. After finishing "Submissioner Gordon" in December of 2022, I was at a pretty bad low from lack of interaction with that fic. My heart has NEVER been in something as much as it was that fic, so to have so many hits and so little interaction made me think everyone hated it. Yet I continued the story with the Kinkuary prompts, where I wrote a short fic every day for 28 days. Again, I feel like it bombed.
At the same time, I made what I thought would be my last hurrah in the Harry Potter fandom, and it didn't do so great either. I was in a BAD spot comparing myself to other writers, so I took a long hiatus.
During that break, I started watching the entire MCU with my son, start to finish. My brain grabbed onto Bruce Banner and Natasha Romanoff and would NOT let go. So in May, I began publishing the "Never Say Never" series, where I try to fix their story.
The feedback from the Marvel fandom and Brutasha readers/writers really warmed my heart and got me back in the groove. I am forever thankful to them, because it truly restored my confidence in writing.
I will always be thankful for my Wizarding World series and the Submissioner Gordon/Daddy Issues universe, and my brain loves to revisit those stories and characters. It's just bittersweet because it never really found its audience. However the feedback I got from my foray into the MCU fandom has built my confidence enough that I am able to write in HP and Dark Knight without really worrying what others think. I am just doing it for me and my love for the characters. I know my writing isn't bad--- it's just not a lot of people's cup of tea.
I also want to give a shoutout to the small but steadfast Gary Oldman fandom I have found on Tumblr and Instagram. They've become very dear to my heart, and I love that we can share random thirst posts together when so many others just don't get it.

Were Aphrodite and Hephaestus ever considered a couple within cults? Or was it something strictly within the mythology?
I'm not aware of any explicit association between them in cult, but it is possible that their mythological connection had its origins in the religion of Bronze Age Cyprus.
„With the mining of copper and metal production in the Bronze Age, wealth and prosperity came to Cyprus and fell, naturally enough, under the patronage of the gods. In the 14th century an important and bronze-working complex was constructed at Athienou. In the next century, twin temples were erected at Kition in close proximity to one another, resembling Near Eastern prototypes that were dedicated to twin deities, male and female. Near the temples were two sources of wealth, a sacred garden and quantities of copper slag, the latter indicating smelting-workshops in the vicinity. …
Roughly contemporary with the second temple building at Kition was a sanctuary at Enkomi in which a bronze statue of a smiting god was found. He stands on a base shaped like an ox-hide ingot, as does a companion piece, a bronze statuette of a female deity, acquired recently in Oxford. … The evidence from Kition and Enkomi suggests that the flourishing metal industry on Cyprus in the 13th and 12th centuries BCE was under the patronage of twin male/female divinities. Could this cult have been a precursor to the later worship of a bisexual Aphrodite? The gardens connected with the temples at Kition recall the later association of Aphrodite with gardens: Strabo reports (14.683-684) that in the Classical period Aphrodite was worshipped on Cyprus in a place called Hierokepis or Hierokepia („sacred garden”). In the Greek world, Aphrodite's connection with metalworking was expressed in myth through her marriage to the smithy-god, Hephaistos. In the Athenian agora, the temple of Hephaistos was close to the place where Aegeus built the shrine of Paphian Aphrodite (Pausanias 1.14.7). … The more infamous sexual partner of Aphrodite was Ares, the warrior god. The Cypriot forebear of these two Greek mythical partners of Aphrodite may have been the smiting god standing on the ingot.”

(A/N) Slowly re-making this series and coming back to the fanfic scene. I’ve made almost all the chapters so I only have to upload them slowly.

You took a small bite out of the apple pancake you made at home, swinging your legs back and forth as the Sun’s first light hits you over the horizon. All of Mondstadt was silent apart from the small bits and pieces of noise here and there.
For example, the clanking of armor as the Favonius knights swapped shifts at the gates, or the baker just below heading in to prepare a fresh batch of food for his customers.
The dawn slowly changed to day, but you stayed up upon the wall’s edge, staring into the horizon in a trance.
“Meow.”
You looked around, trying to find where that yawn had come from until the patterned brown and white cat hopped onto the other edge of the wall. It stared at you and let out another meow as if it were calling you.
“Hello, kitty,” you giggled softly and smiled, tossing your legs over and walking towards it for a pet.
Almost as soon as you pet her, she began to lean into your touch, purring softly as she nuzzled you.
“Don’t tell anyone this, but I’m going to be leaving real soon,” you whispered, booping her nose with a bittersweet smile. “But~! I got you a gift before I left.”
You reached into your back pocket and left the little cat to wait, watching with curiosity.
“Ta-da!” You pulled out a small, hand-made mouse toy. Almost immediately, the cat tried to get it but it was too far. Laughing, you settled it down next to her and watched her play with it.
You quietly eyed the red-haired man as he slowly made his way to Angel's Share. Sometimes you wondered how he's been doing these days, but you try not to dwell on it too much. Your old memories shared with him and his brother always made you feel quite lonely in the end.
"Meeow?"
You looked down at the small kitty who has on its back with the mouse toy on its chest, staring up at you with some kind of sparkle in her eye.
"Hehe, you're so cute."

You can give them one last gift before you leave, right?
“What if they think I’m weird?” You muttered to yourself, fiddling with one of the orange tips of the Calla Lily in your hand. It, along with many others, formed a small flower crown with small Cecelias you’d found. You had another with the same concept, except the Cecelias were bigger and small Lamp Grass lit it up.
You stared at the dark windowsill, hesitating from beneath. It’s been years since you’ve had a proper conversation with him. Wouldn’t it be weird to suddenly leave him a gift like this so suddenly?
You heard a long sigh sound from above, along with the click of his heels against the dark wooden floors of his quarters. Each step came closer and closer to your hiding spot, and everything in you told you to run but your feet stayed glued to the stone pathway.
The thing is though, is that it wasn’t fear that kept you there. Yes, your adrenaline was high and your heart was beating like crazy, but you were curious.
What would happen if he caught you here?
*Pop*
Would the two of your finally have a conversation?
You could hear the wine bottle he had in his hands. Gulping it down and letting go with a long, stressed sigh.
“I shouldn’t be here,” you thought to yourself, noticing the small strands of navy blue hair shining against the moon above. You pushed your hopes away. Why make up those delusions when they’ve never been fulfilled before?
You could hear him hum a tune to accompany the wind’s soft howls. Your adrenaline calmed with each second you heard him until it disappeared out of nowhere, just like the few strands of hair that was floating above.
Now was your chance.
You quickly made your way of there, leaving only a single petal of the Calla Lily flower crown in your place underneath the Cavalry Captain’s windowsill.
