Solomon sees you. At night he sees the darkness in your eyes when you’re tired from the day and no longer have the strength to shield your feelings from him. He sees how your brightness dims just a little. He touches you briefly, almost imperceptibly, leaving a minuscule dusting of magic behind. Just enough to allow you to rest without burden.
He sees you hard at work, concentration projecting from you like an impenetrable aura. He sees it become malleable as you alternate through solutions to the puzzle at hand. Solidifying again as you reach a moment of revelation, once again fixing a problem you didn’t ask for.
Solomon sees you in the midst of others, all music and sparkles, a little lantern of happiness. Everyone nearby basks in your glow, both feeding it and depleting it at the same time. He sees his own contribution and his own portion taken.
But more than anything, Solomon sees your heart - a tender thing that he wants to hold safe for you. He sees it contract in pain, he sees it swell with pride, and he sees it ache with longing. He sees a loneliness in you that he hates because he recognizes it. He tries to banish that piece of sadness from you, even if it results in his own emptiness. He lets himself stay close to you so you know you’re not alone. Even if it means that when you’re gone, that space by his side will seem larger and deeper than it’s ever been.
Solomon sees you, but even so he never expected you to see him. But you do. He starts to notice when you mingle your magic with his, your fingers brushing against where he had touched you. He notices when you seek him out with your eyes while you think. He notices how you smile at him from between the silhouettes of others. He notices how you take his hand whenever that yawning chasm of loneliness opens up within him.
You and Solomon recognize the humanity in each other, in the midst of demons and angels. No matter what magic may alter you, no matter how many pact marks may cover his skin, the two of you were humans. And that understanding was a comfort both of you would always return to.

For Forever With You pt. 2
***This. Took. So. Much. Longer. Than. I. Wanted. It. Too. BUT IT'S DONE! Thank you all so much for being patient while I finished school and took a break, but I am BACK and I am so so glad to be. I hope you all enjoy this lovely little fic! -B***
Summary: A mortal human and an immortal wizard dating is great until something bigger than the world shakes them. War starts in the human world, and the supernatural worlds around them and Solomon can only watch as everything he has carefully nurtured for the past few years begins to crumble.
Part 1
Late 1930s
It turned out that life with you was riveting.
Solomon could hardly remember the last time he had felt so young and free.
With you, he took time to stop and smell the roses. With you, a decade that would usually be an insignificant droplet in his life has become a vibrant waterfall. With you, he is aware of every second, of every step, of every breath that he takes and just how valuable and rare they are to be shared with you.
He treasured you in a way that he hadn't treasured anything since he last sat on a throne in the days of old.
But just as his crown was eventually taken from him, so were the days of peace, joy, and love that he shared with you.
Lightning cracked outside your apartment windows as rain rattled the glass panes. He stood there, gaping at you as you walked around your apartment, packing your things.
"No," he whispered. "MC, please, you can't do this."
You glanced back at him in sympathy as you shook your head. "I'm sorry, Solomon. But you've heard the news; war is on our door step. I can't just sit back and watch, not when I have skills that help."
He gritted his teeth as he clenched onto the enlistment papers you had handed him to read — the very papers with your name written all over them. "If war is really coming, then we can go somewhere away from the war. Away from all of this."
You frowned as you blinked at your partner. "Wait, what?"
Solomon shoved a hand into his suit pocket, quickly magicking a wad of cash into existence before pulling it out in front of you. Your eyes bulged at the sight. "We run. We leave this damned country together. Somewhere the war will never find us. Somewhere safe."
You sighed as you put your hand over his and gently pushed the money back towards him. "I can't. These are my people. My friends. My co-workers. I can't just abandon everything when there's something I can do about it." Keeping your hands on his, Solomon's breath caught in his throat as you pulled him closer to you. "I'm sorry. I understand that you're concerned. But think of it this way, I'm drafted as a telegrapher. I won't even be on the front lines-"
"The front lines don't matter when there are bombs involved," He couldn't help but hiss back, his hands twisting around the money to grip tightly onto yours. "Hospitals were targeted last time. Camps obliterated. What if you're there when- Please, love. I ... I don't want to lose you."
He couldn't lose you. Not yet. Not this soon. He thought he still had decades left with you, not hours.
Your expression softened as you leaned forward and gently pecked Solomon's lips. He savored the sensation of your soft touch like as though it was his final breath of air before death. He clung to every second of your attention and affection that you gifted him with grasping, never-satisfied, hands.
He leaned into your delicate touch, as you cupped his cheek and pulled away. "Solomon, I will do everything in my power to come back to you. Just ... Promise that you'll be here for me when I return."
He closed his eyes, putting of his weight against you as he pulled his lips into a thin line. He wanted to make that promise, but there was more than one reason why he was asking you to run away with him.
You weren't the only one being called to fight — only his was with greater powers that he had been hiding from you.
"I'll do my best," he whispered instead. His heart clenched as he squeezed tightly onto you. "And ... When all this is all done, when we find each other again ..." his heart ached as he met your confused stare, "We never leave each other again. We ... We become forever."
He watched as your breathing halted and realization slowly lit behind your eyes. "A-Are ... Solomon, are you saying that you want to-"
He gathered your lips with his, suffocating the words before they dared enter the world. "Don't say it. Not yet. When all this is over."
You shakily nodded, new tears lining your eyes as you stared at him. "O-Okay. When this is over."
It turns out that was all easier said than done.
The war wasn't quick — Solomon didn't know why he expected it to be. It dragged on for a torturous amount of time filled with seemingly endless evolutions of ways to tear each other apart. Not a day went by that he didn't think of you and yet ...
He hadn't dared to send you a letter, or contact you in anyway.
Solomon didn't doubt that you had attempted to reach him, but he wasn't anywhere close to his normal address. He was traveling across realms, taking part in the supernatural side of the war. He was constantly surrounded by beings who had the ability to snuff out mortal lives with the snap of his fingers — he couldn't let them know about you.
So he went silent. He never spoke of you to anyone. He kept an eye on you and where he knew you were drafted from a distance and ensured that you were safe.
He hated it. God, he hadn't known that being apart from someone could hurt so badly. But he knew it was for the best.
Years passed. Victory was finally earned. The violence and blood shed began to settle, and the world became still once more.
So now he stood outside of the apartment that he hoped you still called home, a bouquet of blue hyacinths in hand and fear stewing in his gut.
With a deep breath, he raised a hand, and knocked on the door.
"Just a moment!"
Several locks clicked and suddenly you were there, looking just as captivating as the day you left.
Your eyes widened as they met his, your butter-soft, kissable lips parting shock. "Solomon," God, he missed the sound of his name dripping from your tongue.
"Hello," he whispered in adoration.
Hearing his voice seemingly shook you out of whatever stupor you had been in, as the beautifully stunned expression on your face melted into fierce furociousness and you began to slam the door.
The wizard quickly stepped forward and caught it. "MC, please! Just a moment!"
"No!" You shouted from behind the door. "You do not get to skip back into my life after abandoning me during a literal war!"
Solomon winced as the heavy oak door rammed against the side of his foot. "My love-"
"You don't get to call me that," you snapped, the door ripping back open. He nearly choked on his own spit at the heat behind the glare you were pointing at him. "I wrote to you daily. I called. And not once did I receive word back. I tried to visit you in the middle of all this mess, you know," you stepped out from your doorway and was now standing nose-to-nose with Solomon. "You weren't home. I asked about you, and even our closest neighbors somehow didn't know who you were. I thought you were dead, Solomon!" His chest ached at the utter grief in your voice as you screamed at him. Your lip quivered as a broken gasp bubbled up them. "Where were you? I- I needed you, and you left me after everything! After you- You had hinted that-"
He moved closer to you, regret pooling in his stomach regardless of how he knew his actions were for the best. Although you may not have wanted to be anywhere near him at this exact moment, he couldn't stand there and watch you fall apart. Without another word, he gathered you tightly into his arms, pulling you as impossibly close as he could and curling himself around you.
For the first time since he first saw your name on your enlistment papers, he could breathe.
"I'm sorry," he whispered as you sobbed into his chest, your balled fists punching against him. "I'm so sorry for leaving you alone. I ... I thought I was protecting you."
Your movements stilled at his explanation. "What do you mean? Are you a spy?"
There was no stopping the snort that ripped out of him. "Oh definitely not. Just ..." he let out a shaky breath and smiled at you. "Let's take this inside. I think it's finally time that I explained a few things."
You stared at him, and for a moment he feared this was the end, that he was about to lose the only mortal that he had truly cared about for centuries. But then you sighed, and you dropped your beautiful eyes to the ground as you stepped back and pushed open the door. "Fine," you breathed and simultaneously breathed hope back into his soul. "Fine. Come in, just ... Talk."
He nearly fell to the ground in relief, but quickly walked in, whispering thank yous under his breath as he did.
After an awkward silence as you made tea (complete with a splash of rum) and some cold sweets you tossed onto a plate, you met him back in the living room and sat sternly across from him. "You have one and only one chance," your words blew over him like the tundra's wind. "Speak."
He swallowed thickly, wiping his unusually calmy palms on his pant legs before taking a deep breath. "This ... This is going to sound insane. You might not believe me, but please, trust that I am telling the truth," your eyes narrowed suspiciously on him as you took a sip of your tea. He nodded in acknowledgment of your attention. "I'm a wizard, an immortal one at that. I was called by the powers of Heaven and Hell to fight the supernatural elements of the war and, as I do every time I leave a location, I wiped the memories of our peers before departing." You looked at him, face remaining neutral, before you slowly set down your drink. "Get out," you hissed, the venomous anger that lay barely restrained under your skin, finally beginning to break loose.
Solomon's heart plummeted. "Love, please. I promise, I'm telling the truth!" You laugh, your expression morphing into one of pure disbelief. "Are you kidding me?! Wizards? Supernatural? Do you even hear yourself?" You choked on your words as you shook your head at him. "If you wanted to lie, you could've done so without mocking my intelligence. Get out."
"I can prove it!" He shouted desperately, rising to his feet. "I can show you!" Without waiting for a response, he began moving his hands in familiar semantics, whispering incantations under his breath as glyphs float in the air for a moment before suddenly a large tome apparated into existence and dropped into his hands. He rushed towards you, flipping open the book and showing you the contents. "This is my spell book. Every spell I've ever created and/or mastered is in here. Look for yourself."
Your eyes widened, jaw dropping a little as you took in the display and the book now being thrust into your hands. You shakily flipped through the fragile pages and sure enough there was page after page of strange symbols and words written in a language you didn't understand. There was a tingling presence to the book that ran through your fingertips up your arms and caused you to shiver.
Solomon slowly comes to stand beside you, watching you take in the precious artifact in your hands. "I wasn't lying," he whispered softly. "I didn't want to go. They didn't give me a choice. Then it was too dangerous for me to stay in contact. I didn't want to risk you getting pulled into an ever greater war than you were already fighting."
At that moment, he wished he could read your mind. Your lips pursed as you continued flipping through the pages. His stomach twisted in knots the longer you perused. There was always the chance that you still wouldn't believe him and would brush him off. There was always the possibility you would believe him, but would be disgusted and would turn him away regardless.
It had all happened before. He didn't want it to happen again. Not with you. But he had no say in the matter.
The snap of the books pages slapping shut pulls his attention back to you as you look up at him. You silently hand it back to him and then you stare. Your eyes dig deep into his soul, they crawl under clothes and beneath his skin, they bury themselves into every mark on his flesh, until they close and you let out a tired sigh, falling against your chair. "That's- It's a lot to take in Solomon," you breathe.
He nods, shifting on his feet and trying to get some grasp on your body language, but the mask you've built for yourself is carefully locked in place and no longer budges for him. "I know," he whispers. "I know it is. But that's the truth, dearest. That's why I left. It's why no one remembers me, but you. Please believe me." You sigh, and run a hand through your hair. "I do, I just-" you cut yourself off, troubled eyes looking into the distance but not truly seeing anything. "This brings out so many more questions. How many other lies did you tell me? If you really are this immortal powerful being, what are you doing here? Why-" Your voice cracks and you finally look at him again — tears, that he has always hated but is now the cause of, lining your eyes. "Why did you chose to haunt me?" He can't handle it. He moves closer, getting down on his knees before you as he takes your hands into his own. "I don't haunt you. I don't have that ability," he lightly jokes before getting serious once more and coming just a little bit closer until your legs brush against each other. "I love you. It's true that I have told you lies before to protect my identity and keep you safe, but that has always been true. I stayed here because I love you. You enchant me, MC. In ways that, even with hundreds of lifetime's of knowledge, I cannot begin to understand," your breath hitches as he runs his thumbs across your knuckles. He leans in and ever so delicately presses a kiss to them.
"Please," he begs with the voice of a broken man whose only thing he had to lose was sitting before him. "I don't want to lose you. Not when we still have time. Let me prove myself to you again. No more lies. Just you. Just me." You hands slip out of his, and a single finger comes under his chin, tilting it up until he was looking at you. For the first time that evening there was something different glimmering in your eyes — a willingness and acceptance. "Alright," you say. "You get one more chance," your other hand swoops around to caress his hair, brushing it up and back away from his face lovingly. "Show me your strange funky world, magic man. All of it this time. Show me the real, Solomon." His body slumps in relief, silver eyes overflowing with the love for you that he has been floating in without you being there to share it with. "I will," he nearly whines. "I will. I promise." And he did. It wasn't easy, but he spent the next year showing you all that he had always fought so hard to keep secret. He introduced you to magic, to other strange and greedy witches. He showed you his demon pact symbols that are burned into his skin, and brought back delicacies from the other realms and taught you about their existance. Slowly, you were introduced to a whole other layer of the man you were already enamoured with. A man who wasn't sketchy or mysterious as people so often thought him to be — but who was curious, childlike in his wonder, and hungry for the knowledge of everything around him.
This Solomon was lighter, even happier than the one you loved before.
And after a year of magic and witches and spells and demons and angels, you approched Solomon as he worked on a potion in your kitchen and pulled out a ring.
You asked to marry this strange wonderful man, and Solomon felt the worlds around him still. You asked to stay by his side, not just for this life time, but to aid you in doing so forever, and Solomon felt the air escape his lungs.
You asked to swear yourself to him and him to you in a pact that no magic could ever comprehend, and Solomon's heart nearly exploded alongside the potion on the stove.
With shaking hands, and trillion reassurances, he said yes. And with a single potion, a piece of paper, and beautifully personal ceremony the two of you were bound together, until the ends of time. It took another month after your marriage and consumption of your immortality potion for him to realize that this was real.
He would never be alone again. ***Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, I've been trying to write this for so so so long and I'm so happy I finally got it done! Thank you all so much for your patience and hanging around while I worked on these two! I love them so much. I hope you guys do too! Thanks! -B***

a/n: I have no idea how to write for solomon OR anything angst but I wanted to write for him🧍
pairing: solomon x gn!reader
summary: solomon wants to be with you romantically but he's not sure if he's ready.
----
Everyone knows the obvious cons of being immortal. You have to watch all your friends, all your loved ones grow old and die off one by one.
Solomon knew that, he was aware of what was going to happen once he became immortal. He went through all the pain and agony watching all his family slowly die, all of his closest friends he made in the human realm.
It took a massive toll on him, making friends, meeting their family, watching them die one by one. He had to comfort the crying friend or friends relatives while he was either equally upset or trying to hold it together. It drove him insane at one point, he's going to end up being alone with no one he's familiar with to give him closure.
When he got chosen for the exchange program and met angels and demons who were also immortal, he felt a sense of ease. He can make friends without the worry of knowing that he'll have to see them in their coffin several years later.
Not long after, the next human exchange student came down, everyone was talking about them, it was hard to not know about their existence. He saw a couple of lesser demons whispering about how they were going to try and eat the new exchange student before Beel could, so of course he was going to step in.
"Hey, you there." He gave you back your D.D.D. while introducing himself, teasing you about the anxious look you had on your face. The conversation went back and forth for a little bit before he left to go to his classroom.
Was he going to let himself associated with you? Was he going to get attached to you? You're just a mere human, you're going to be dead before he knows it. He must be immune to seeing the people he cares about die off, surely he's built an immunity to it and won't spiral when he's the one standing near your grave.
He was going to get attached, he's going to want to associate you after seeing you get along and be friendly with everyone, he's going to want your time and attention soon. He just knows it.
Every interaction he had with you, every time it was just the two of you hanging out without the brother stealing you away, every time you two would share a hug on a bad day or an ecstatic high five that stung your hands after a successful experiment, he can feel the growing attachment.
The feeling of his heart picking up the pace when you run up to him, how sweaty his hands get when hanging out with you now, how warm he gets when he's a close proximity with you, how his face heats up when you're touching him or when you bite back with a flirty remark with his playful flirting.
He was falling for you and he didn't want to. You were supposed to just be a friend, another human he could chat to if he ever felt home sick, his apprentice because you kind of suck at magic and potion making in class. You were supposed to be nothing more than just another human friend to him.
He's grown close to you. A familiar someone that can give him comfort when an experiment he's been working on for the longest time fails. A familiar someone who gave him the closure he oh-so craved for. Someone he felt the urge to protect from all the harm in the world, even though he knows they're strong enough to do it on their own. You're the someone he wants to be around all the time. Discover new things with you and about you.
What are your darkest secrets? Do you secretly despise one of the brothers but you don't have the heart to be mean and neglectful towards? What kind of things have you even through that changed you, was it for the better or the worse? Do you have a picture of Lucifer sleeping?
He wants the brothers to grow jealous of him. He wants your attention on him when the two of you are hanging out, not on your phone replying back to a clingy Mammon and Levi and a nagging Lucifer. He wants your touches. He wants you to be by his side making fun of each other over the dumbest things. He wanted you.
Argh, he wanted you. He wanted to hold you. He wanted to call you a gross sappy pet name in front of the brothers and rile them up because of it. He wanted to see Luke approving of the relationship, as if he actually needed Luke's permission to date you.
He didn't want this. None of it. Absolutely none of it. You were supposed to just be a classmate, someone he talked to every so often because of the exchange program, you were supposed to just acquaintances. Just some other measly human.
Nights of trying to distract himself from you and it fails. He tried to avoid you, he tried to ignore you, neglect you, act as if you didn't exist. But he just can't push you away when he can feel you glancing at him from across the room. The late night messages asking him if you did something to make him angry or why he was avoiding you. He can't handle that.
He can't handle the fact that he's the reason to why you're sad the next day. He can't handle the avatar of lust coming up to him and asking if the two of you had a fight. Of course he would just tell you he's been busy and didn't mean to come off that way. It was a lie but you forgave him and it always went back to the way things were.
Seeing you so low on energy, just because of him? He doesn't want to be the reason you're upset but he's going to be.
That's something he can't avoid, even if he tried.
He was supposed to be paying attention to the class but he couldn't. The best he could do is at least look busy. Looking down at his notes, moving his pen trying to pretend he was copying the stuff written on the board. He felt his phone vibrate.
He opened it up to see a message from you. Oh how a dumb smile slipped on to his face seeing that it was you messaging him. But it immediately dropped after he read the text.
mc: hey! meet me near the back of the school after last period?
solomon: ew why
solomon: are you going to confess your undying love to me
mc: gross I take it back, don't bother coming after school
solomon: OK OK, I'll come 🙄
He knew where this was going, he definitely knows where this was going. He's been in enough situations similar to this to not know. Was he going to give it a chance? A chance of a relationship? Or was he going to ruin everything the two of you had by saying no in the most cruel way possible due to his emotions.
As if he couldn't focus in class to begin with, he definitely couldn't focus on anything else now.
The last class for the day ended. All the demons rushing out of the classroom, crowding the corridors. Solomon stalled. He took his sweet time grabbing all of his stuff, waiting for everyone to get out the classroom and waiting for the crowd to die down before heading out. He didn't want to risk bumping into you.
He made his way towards the back of the school. He had most of the day to think about both situations, what he was going to say, your reaction. Was he mentally prepared for this? He's not but he's going to say that he is.
"Solomon! Took your sweet time getting here!" Played along, rolling his eyes.
"The teacher held me back. Why did you ask me to come here?" He can't do it, he doesn't want to. He felt his heart racing but it hurt. Unpleasant.
"I... Didn't think this far ahead, it was kind of impulsive but I like you, Solomon. Do you want to give things a go between us?" Stop it. How was he supposed to reject you when you're standing there looking so... So... He can't think of the word but he was so entranced with you.
"I can't-- I can't do that." He spoke softly, feeling the uncomfortable stinging in his chest grow stronger as he watched your face change from a giddy nervous high school girl smile to pure sorrow.
"May I ask why?" Your voice cracked. Your eyes were glassy, one blink away from tears running down your cheek. It was making it hard for him to keep it all together.
"Because what if we get into a relationship and who knows, it lasts a while and it becomes more? I'm going to be the one standing over your grave in decades time." This wasn't like him, he was supposed to stay calm and witty, go with the flow type of guy. But here he was, letting out his emotions like he used to at his first best friends funeral. Was spiralling? He can't be. It was shameful, having you see him in a state like this. You grabbed his hand to snap him out of it.
"That's so far into the future. You shouldn't be worrying about that right now." That's what he's been trying to tell himself. He hasn't told anyone, maybe that's why he's reacting the way he is. Maybe he should be talk this one out with you. "Right now, in this very moment, Solomon. Do you want to give us a go? If it doesn't work out, it doesn't but if it does, it does."
"Yes." He said almost instantly, even cutting you off a bit. He tried to take in deep breaths, trying to ignore how shaky they were. He looked up at you, face full of different emotions and a forced smile. "Yes, I want to go out with you, give us a go." He slid his hand out of yours and opened his out slightly. "Can I?"
"Of course you can." You wrapped your arms around his body, holding him tightly as he does the same.
Solomon, of all people, should know that he shouldn't be stressing about the future and focus on the present. But small reminders are needed at times and that's okay.
---
I never know how to end these 👎 I hope you enjoyed!

"Camellia, you have to listen to me. You should take a day off tomorrow."
Solomon says with his arms crossed as he stands by Camellia's bedroom doorway, watching his exhausted apprentice flop down forward on her bed.
She's been coming home always looking worn out for the past few days and it's worrying him.
"And I told you, you don't have to worry about me. I'm doing fine. Just a little tired."
He sighed. Camellia's stubbornness was one of the things he loved about her. But it can also be troublesome at times, like this moment.
He walked towards her and sat on the edge of the bed. She was still lying on her stomach.
"Would someone who's doing fine complain about her aching shoulders and back almost every day?" He quipped while gently massaging her shoulders.
"Oh, come on. You know that I already had issues with my shoulders and back even before I came here– oof! You hit a spot!"
Solomon took his hands off her shoulders when she groaned. "Does it hurt?"
Camellia shook her head. He sighed again.
"I just don't want you to overwork yourself. I know it's your way of coping with your situation, but it wouldn't hurt to give some time to yourself to unwind. And you know I'm always here to lend an ear to you, right?"
"......"
After a moment of silence, Camellia rose from her position. Solomon moved a little to give her space.
"It's just... I can't help but sometimes think that I might not be able to find a way to go back to our time. That I might not be able to see my family and friends again. It's... it's a scary thought. I know you're also trying to find a way for me to get back. I just don't want to add more worries for you to think about."
Solomon's heart clenched at her quiet words.
"Nonsense. You will never be a burden to me, Camellia, so you don't need to worry about that. You can share your thoughts with me as much as you like. And we'll find a way to get you back, I promise," he assured her as he pulled her in for a hug.
"...Alright, I'll take the day off tomorrow. I'll call Lucifer later to tell him."
"Good."
They stayed in that position for a while. The silence between them was comforting.
"...Hey, Solomon?"
"Yes?"
"Did you, perhaps, cook something again?"
"...No."
Camellia pushed the white-haired sorcerer at arm's length.
"Lies. I can smell burnt food from your clothes."
"W-well... you were tired, so I can't let you use up your remaining energy to cook for us both! Please, Camellia...!"
She sighed as she watched her teacher fumble with his words trying to find excuses. Looks like her day isn't quite over yet.

"Is it true that you had 700 wives?"
Solomon looks up from his book, to where you're laying on his bed, homework in hand. He'd convinced you to take the class "Rhetoric 101: How to win any argument with an angel using biblical quotes" because he'd figured it'd be fun to watch you try to spark up an argument with Simeon. It was a nice perk that you could study together. It hadn't even occurred to him that he might get mentioned in the coursework.
You read over the pages, eyes brimming with amusement. "What could you possibly need 700 wives for?" you ask and he shrugs. "Mostly politics and gaining land," he says but you don't seem entirely convinced. "Might I remind you that this was happening during a period of 80 years?" he says but you just raise your brows at him. "That's still like 9 wives per year, though. How on earth did you have time for that?" you're laughing now, really laughing and Solomon has to fight a smile.
"What, they'd get like a month and a half each before you were on to the next one," you say, wiping the tears on your cheek. "Actually, I never even met most of them," he says, hoping to help his cause, but it only causes you to laugh even harder. Solomon huffs and pretends to read his book again, letting your laughter subside, but once you read the next line of your homework you're laughing again.
"You had 300 concubines? How is that even possible?" you cackle and Solomon rolls his eyes. "That was a rumour. I did not have that many," he says but you're far gone, clutching your belly as you gasp for air. "I'll have you know that having a pact with the Avatar of Lust gives you a very high libido-" he begins.
"Oh, trust me, I know," you wheeze.
He's on you in a second, pushing you down on the bed, a hand on each side of your head. You giggle, when he presses kisses to your face, any surface he can reach, your cheeks, your forehead, your nose.
"Stop" kiss "teasing" kiss "me!" kiss, he whines, but you've only just begun. "Oh, I'm sorry, my lord, it's just I haven't seen you in three years, you've been so busy with all your wives-" Solomon shuts you up with a kiss on the lips and you bury your hands in his hair, leaning into it. He lays down on top of you, using your chest as a pillow, refusing to move an inch. "Sol, you're crushing me," you complain and he grumbles. He presses a kiss to your collarbone and grabs your homework, throwing it into a corner of his room, before getting comfortable again, this time crushing you a little less. You run your fingers through his hair, humming softly.
You both know that it doesn't actually matter how many wives or concubines or past lovers he's had. Sometimes Solomon thinks that it's all just been a build-up, that none of it actually mattered. His real life didn't begin until he met you and he's completely fine with that.
"Sooo, did you have a favourite? Or perhaps 30 favourites?"
"Oh, shut up."

Solomon, encouraging MC : —and you’re clearly very powerful now, starlight. You managed to take down a legion of monsters all by yourself without my help.
MC, still doubtful : Do you really think I’m powerful?
Solomon, cradling your face in his palms : I, for one, find you terrifying

Thinking about......Solomon who randomly gives your cheek a small lick just to see that disgusted expression of yours as you look at him while frantically wiping your cheek with your hand, and then wiping your hand on his sleeve with mumbles of "ew ew ew ew ew".
All while he has a shit-eating grin on his face, watching you question your entire relationship with him.

Pick me girls and Dateables - Part 3
Characters: Diavolo, Barbatos, Solomon and Simeon (x reader, separately)
Part 1 - Lucifer, Mammon and Levi (x reader, separately)
Part 2 - Satan, Asmo, Beel and Belphie (x reader, separately)
Masterlist
CW: pick me girl behavior, suggestive, mentions of sex, mentions of violence and threats, mentions of concubines (no concubines, tho), implied marriage (??), jealous mc, some fluff, some hurt, some comfort, the most ooc out of every part of the series, Barbatos's part is based on one of his chats (A patissier's suffering?)
A/N at the end.
.
Diavolo
So the Devildom had concubines, what about it? It's not like Diavolo had any concubines. You were his only partner and, apparently, the first one in a long while. You had nothing to worry about.
Still, it was impossible not to feel so dejected when every single one of the demons in his court buttered him up so blatantly, not caring that you were next to him, arms linked and fingers intertwined.
And he smiled. Of course, what else could he do but smile? He had a duty to fulfill and that probably meant keeping certain people happy, right?
At least, that was the mantra in your head. Your heart kept hurting itself, but having a reason made it manageable.
"Well? Have you thought about it?"
You turned to your side and stared at the demoness beside you. She was mesmerizing and looking at her directly made you lose focus.
Have I thought about it? I haven't stop thinking about it.
"Remember that I'm acting on behalf of his wellbeing" she said sweetly, caressing your wrist like she wanted to flirt with you "And I guess I could make you happy too"
That made you laugh without an ounce of humor. Both of you knew she wasn't being serious about that one and you wondered why she said it in the first place. Making her Diavolo's concubine would make her his wife in everything but paper. Did she expect giving you orgasms would make you happier about it?
"Leave me alone" you whispered against your drink, not trusting your voice to act decently.
"How can you be so selfish?" she spat, leaving you speechless "This is for his own good. How long will you live, human? Do you expect him to be alone after your death? My only wish is to keep him company once you're gone and starting now would make the transition easier. He'll still love you, sure, but this way he could be happier. How can you not understand something so simple?"
A demon she was, you remembered. Had you been a regular human, you would've believed her concerned face, but to you it was obvious how impatient she was and how much she wanted to leave you there, alone and breaking, so she could finally speak to Diavolo.
"MC"
Both of you jumped, turning around just to see Barbatos's unfazed smile.
"Lord Diavolo asks for you" he informed when you didn't answer, too surprised to react. "Follow me if you please"
"If I may" intervened your companion, close to giving you a heart attack "I must speak to Prince Diavolo. It's an urgent matter"
The butler looked at you, asking for your permission, but you didn't know how to react. It seemed your throat decided to stop working at that exact moment.
"Very well, then"
The demoness eagerly jumped at his words, not wasting a second in leaving the corner you were occupying to look for the prince, who had finally stopped talking to his subjects and was sitting alone in his throne.
Barbatos stared at her before offering you his arm.
"You have nothing to worry about"
He seemed confident, so you believed him. However, the distance you walked towards the throne felt longer than ever.
Your boyfriend looked unnaturally serious at your arrival, an expression his face was not made for. It softened when he saw you, but, still, he didn't fully smile.
"My love, come here" he palmed his thigh and not in a million years would you reject that offer.
Diavolo smiled at the speed you moved, barely restraining himself from kissing you. Instead, he turned to the demoness and presented her to you.
"I believe you've met her already, MC. Did you know about her offer? Did you know she wishes to serve me?"
He patiently waited for your answer, holding you against his chest and caressing your hip bones with the pad of his fingers and the tip of his nails, making you shiver.
Serve? That's the word she decided to use? She wasn't lying, sure, but it was far from the intention she actually had.
"We talked about it" you said in the end.
There was silence for a few seconds, broken only by the sounds of people still drinking and dancing. Diavolo and Barbatos looked at each other, having a conversation no one else could hear.
"I take it you rejected her proposition?"
Obviously.
You nodded and he cupped your face with a sad frown. Your heart skipped a beat.
"That's a pity, my love"
For a moment you moved away from him, too lost in your incredulity to answer or even acknowledge the crazy smile on the demoness's face, but, not even a second later, Diavolo brought you back to him and continued.
"She would've make a wonderful lady in waiting"
Huh?
"Wait, what?"
Both of you ignored the woman, who looked like she'd been slapped in the face with something rotten, which, in her mind, was probably accurate.
"I asked to serve you, my Lord, not the human..."
"Beware your words" interrupted Barbatos, his tail swishing behind him like a whip.
She stopped talking then, very obviously swallowing her opinions. Diavolo speaked again.
"By serving you, she'll serve me. Give her an opportunity to make you happy and, if she fails, we'll get rid of her"
What did he mean, get rid of her? You opened your mouth to ask, but he jerked his leg, making you jump. His smile was wide, but his eyes held a warning.
You decided to let it go.
"Okay"
Diavolo laughed as loud as he usually did, finally hugging you and ignoring both Barbatos's reprimanding glance and the demoness's sour expression.
But wait.
Wait.
He said 'lady in waiting'. Like... Uh...
Were you getting married?
Barbatos
'I'll be waiting in the classroom'
That's what his last message said.
And you'd never be dumb enough to reject that invitation. ¿Spending time with your boyfriend and eating his homemade cookies? Hell yeah!
You just had to be careful not to catch Beel's attention, avoiding the main hallways and hiding between the taller students, which were almost everyone.
By the time you finally arrived to the classroom (you got lost, but you'd never admit that to anyone), you were fairly sure all of your classmates had already gone home.
Alas, you were wrong.
Barbatos's figure was as composed as ever, but you knew him just enough to know how irritated he actually was. Were you this late? It was never your intention!
But no, no, that wasn't the root of the problem.
You knew her, kinda. Not personally, but you'd seen her a lot of times in the castle, cleaning plates in the kitchen or clearing up the table after one of Diavolo's dinner parties. She looked weird in the school's uniform instead of the one the maids used, but you guessed they too had to go to RAD, just like the brothers did.
So why did Barbatos look so uncomfortable?
Both of them stared at you when you entered, walking towards him while staring at her in search of an explanation.
"MC! You're finally here"
He smiled at you with candid eyes, discreetly holding your hand and restraining himself from kissing you in front of the girl, who cleared her throat to break the moment and grinned at Barbatos like you weren't there at all.
Foolish mistake if you'd ever seen one.
Your boyfriend frowned before turning in her direction, clearly giving her one last oportunity before kicking her out of there and reclaiming his alone time with you.
The girl purposely made herself meek, lowering her gaze as if making visual contact with him was too much, something you could totally understand.
"Master Barbatos, please, I'm begging you. I just wish to learn"
You raised your eyebrows and waited for his answer. Instead, she kept talking.
"I'll follow every one of your orders, sir, I promise" arms behind her back and body slightly swaying, you now understood why he was in the edge of snapping "The others don't appreciate you as much as I do. I'll be your best student"
He stared at her, you stared at her, she stared at him, batting her lashes with a weirdly fake innocent smile.
Her demeanor vanished when the Royal Butler spoke.
"I recomend you stop this nonsense at once" he finally said, breaking the uncomfortable silence "You're embarrassing yourself and Lord Diavolo's service's good reputation"
The poor maid gaped like a fish, although you weren't feeling bad for her.
You stayed behind him, closing the distance as much as possible while staring at her over his shoulder. If you ate a cookie now, would it be too much? He'd probably forgive you, but you'd rather not risk your chances.
"You will stay on cleaning duty as long as I say and you will stop the rumors that I know have been traveling all around the castle"
She lowered her gaze again, this time in submission and humiliation. His voice sounded venomous and you could swear the room's temperature dropped a few degrees. The air was still and smelled damped and rottening.
"If the gossip hasn't disappear by midnight, rest assured, I will make sure you keep your mouth fully shut"
The threat was clear in his words, something that shouldn't, but still surprised you. The maid trembled in response before bowing and running out the classroom.
You stared at the door in surprise, not turning around until he talked again.
"Do forgive me, my dear, but you know how much I dispise rats"
He sounded scarier than ever, letting his forked tongue slip between his teeth before he searched around the room, like he was trying to find more pests.
Then, he turned to you and smiled like nothing happened, holding a cookie to your mouth as the tips of his gloved fingers caressed your jaw.
"Let's forget about this ordeal, MC. After all, I saved these just for you"
Solomon
If there was something worse than feeling jealous, it was Solomon knowing you were jealous.
You thought you could catch a break, uh? Well, you couldn't be more wrong: your boyfriend knew the moment he saw you staring at that witch.
She was cute, you guessed? Nothing exceptional, but not hideous either. You wouldn't mind at all if not for the fact that she used her appearance like a nuclear weapon.
"Oh, you're so cute!" she'd told you once "I wish I was as cute as you!"
And at first you thought nothing of it. She was just being nice! A little weird about it, sure, but who wasn't weird in RAD?
Except, she wasn't looking at you when she said that, but, instead, at your boyfriend.
Of course, Solomon, unbothered as ever, was too engrossed in the cooking book he'd borrowed from the library to pay attention.
(Later that night you had to order takeout, but you were already counting on that).
The point was: she was trying too hard. You couldn't blame her, really, you dated Solomon for a reason; but still. She was getting on your nerves.
"I'm so dumb... I'll never get it! Solomon, can you help me with this?"
Opening a door with magic? Difficult? Yeah, right.
"I've never dated a human before... How is it, MC? I bet Solomon is a great boyfriend"
He has his moments.
"Solomon! Sit with me, I saved you a seat! Why? Oh, I concentrate better when you're here!"
Shit, could she concentrate at all?
"You're so powerful! You'll have to let me have him for a night, MC! He could teach me a couple of things..."
You closed your fist, staring at her with a frown while talking yourself out of mauling her across the table. You didn't need Lucifer's rants about impropriety and self restraint on top of all of this.
"MC and I have a lesson tonight" the sorcerer said with a polite smile, unusually kind eyes and an unreadable expression "Would you like to tag along?"
She sighed and rolled her eyes, lowering her gaze in embarrassment, although you weren't sure if she was really embarrassed.
"Could we hang out alone, tho? I don't want MC to see how dumb I am. They're so much better than me! I bet I need you more than they do!"
Well, you didn't need to study with her to know she was dumb as bricks.
You looked at Solomon, opening your eyes so much in bewilderment that even the insides of your cornea were getting dry. Not a second later he turned to you, smiling with mischief, and then you remembered who were you actually dating.
"It's either this or nothing. Be in Purgatory Hall at 6, we won't be waiting for you"
The witch quickly looked at you, frustrated at his words. It wasn't ideal, you knew, thirdwheeling your crush and his partner in a study date, but what else did she expect? Every other option was plain stupid.
"Okay"
She snorted, trying to hide the disgust and disappoinment without much success. Once she left you alone, swaying her hips and her ponytail, you punched Solomon in the arm and reveled in his pain.
"MC!! Relax!"
"Don't tell me to relax!"
You tried to choke him, but he hid his neck under his shoulders before you could lift yourself to reach him better. He knew you too well.
"MC, I have an idea! You'll like it, believe me!"
"Oh, really?"
"I swear!"
Once free from your attacks, Solomon avoided your eyes and stared at his hands. It took him a couple of seconds before he could look at you again, cheeks red, while he spoke from his heart.
"I couldn't care less about her attempts, MC, but she's obviously making you uncomfortable. I won't let this keep going if I can do something about it"
"But why did you invite her to our lesson, then?"
He laughed in a carefree manner, still blushing while he took your hands in his, looking at you like he was about to uncover a precious secret.
"As your teacher, I want you to explore your potential to the maximum"
His voice lowered to a whisper and you got closer to him, letting your body shiver when his breath caressed the skin of your neck.
"Say, MC, wouldn't you like to have your very own training dummy?"
Simeon
Oh, the privileges of being friends with the most powerful demons in the Devildom.
All you had to do was pout a little and act like you were miserable, missing the warmth of the sun and the familiar scenery of the human world. Of course, all of them knew you were exaggerating, but none would take the risk of actually making you sad.
So there you were, waiting for your drinks while Simeon sunbathed outside, sitting in one of those ornate metal chairs and writing some loose ideas for his next book in a napkin. After all, you'd be crazy if you ever went to the human realm without using the opportunity to have a date with your sweetheart of a boyfriend.
If not for the brightness of his suit, he would look like a college student from an old movie, all dreamy and focused in his own world.
And, apparently, you weren't the only one thinking that.
There were a group of girls outside the cafe, all of them young, maybe even fresh out of high school, staring at Simeon like he was some kind of celebrity. Maybe it was his angelic charisma? Maybe it was just his good looks? Whatever the reason, the girls seemed ready enough to conquer the world and they wanted to start with your boyfriend.
You studied your surroundings, realizing with an uncomfortable weigh in your chest just how busy the place was. There was no way you were getting your order in less than five minutes, even being the first in line, so the only thing you could do was wait and hope the girls wouldn't bother Simeon too much.
They stayed in a closed circle for a few moments until one of them finally dared to go and talk to him. She tried to sit in the second chair, but Simeon stopped her with a quick movement of his hand, probably saying he was saving it for you.
That made you laugh, but you were starting to get second hand embarrassment. You could tell she was trying hard to catch his attention, twirling her hair around her finger and hugging her waist to make her breasts look bigger.
You couldn't see Simeon's face, but, by the way he was scratching the paper, it was obvious he was losing focus on whatever he was previously writing, which would only make him irritated.
Fortunately, and rather rudely, the waitress finally gave you the styrofoam cups and immediately ignored you again, but you couldn't care less. The girl returned to her friends just as you stepped out of the cafe, letting you know part of what happened.
"He said he didn't know what part of him made him look interested in me" she snarled with a hint of hurt in her voice, trying to hide it with offense "That I should find someone that actually finds me entertaining"
Her friends gasped and you had to stop yourself from laughing. He wasn't usually that snappy, but she did interrupt his daydreaming.
"I don't even care what he thinks, he's just some dude! I can catch anyone I want, you know?"
Anyone but him, apparently, but the only thing her friends could do was agree.
Shaking your head and holding one drink in each hand, you stopped the eavesdropping and hurried towards him, leaning over his shoulder to kiss his cheek and smiling softly when he raised his hands to stroke your hair. He was warm from the sun, but he still curled close to you even after letting you sit next to him.
The girls audibly gasped at your actions, clearly offended by your presence as if Simeon would change his mind if they waited enough.
You couldn't bring yourself to pay them attention. Not when he was caressing your knuckles with such love in his touch and a feeling so deep in his eyes that it made your heart violently stop.
"So what were you writing?"
He smiled and eagerly showed you the napkin. By the time you turned around, the girls were already gone.

Simeon's part sucked the soul out of me (not in the good way), but at least it's well-written. Also, this will be the last part for now: I don't know Mephisto, Raphael or Thirteen enough, so they won't be in any of my posts (for now)

Solomon: Did you rearrange everything in my lab, MC? I can't find anything!
MC: Oh no, that's too bad. I guess you'll just have to spend the evening here with me rather than cooped up in your lab.
Solomon: ...
MC: :)
Solomon: Ah, I see. I hope you're prepared for revenge.
MC: ??
Solomon: *pulls MC close and covers their face in kisses* By the time I'm done, you'll wish I would go back to my lab and leave you alone.
Needless to say, Solomon did not in fact return to his lab at all that night.

Nightbringer mc
You can not convince me that Solomon doesn't have videos of mc chasing their own tail or scaring themselves when their wings touch something.
Ever since gaining this new form, it's been a struggle. Learning how to use their new extremities and limbs. New parts of their brain have been activated thanks to the new physical form. So when mc's wings subconsciously move or instinctively flap, they get spooked and flinch, and Solomon tries so hard to hold his tongue and not laugh.
Or when mc's tail kept moving all on its own, and it was pissing themselves off. Solomon holds up his phone and records his student going in circles like a dog trying to catch their own tail and getting so frustrated " BECAUSE IT WONT FUCKING STAY STILL!!!"

Authors Notes: requests are open atm! dont be afraid to send something my way, just be sure to read the rules first!
[Brothers Here]
Tumblr media
Diavolo [👐💗]
He always thinks about you and acts on impulse because of it
“Barbatos, I saw them eyeing a few things last time I went out with them. I've compiled a list so would you mind procuring everything that you can?" Barbatos nodded, "Yes my lord, but if I may, what's the occasion?" Despite saying this, Barbatos knew full well that there was no special occasion, but decided to humor Diavolo.
"Oh! Nothing in particular, I just felt like it," he chuckled softly, a faint flush on his face. Barbatos shook his head slightly, the edges of his lips threatening to curl upwards into a knowing smile. Diavolo started fiddling with his hands, staring at his phone anxiously. Everytime it would vibrate his head would shoot up and his hand would reach over, only for his head to droop slightly, seeing as how it wasn't a message from you.
"Young Master, seeing as how you can't seem to focus on your paperwork, perhaps it's best that we should continue this later? You seem rather antsy," Barbatos pressed a hand to the top of the stack of papers before Diavolo, a knowing smile on his face. Diavolo's face lit up realizing that Barbatos was releasing him to leave, to be able to see you. "Perhaps we should," he pushes back his seat standing up. "Barbatos, I'm going out for a bit, keep an eye on the castle while I'm away." And without another word, he bolts out of his office.
Barbatos chuckles softly watching him race off, neatly stacking the scattered paperwork into a pile.
Barbatos [⌛🖤]
He’s not afraid to show his most vulnerable sides to you
"Well this is a sight to behold."
Barbatos looks up from the kitchen counter, a soft smile on his face. You find you mouth hanging open slightly as you stare at him. Even while working in the kitchen, Barbatos seems refined as ever, sleeves neatly rolled up showing off his forearms, and an apron tied around his waist. You quickly avert your gaze, suddenly taking interest in the wall, feeling your face grow warm. Barbatos only smiles at you, gesturing for you to come closer. As you approach him, he holds a spoon in his hand, “Here, have a taste and tell me what you think.”
Tentatively taking the spoon from him, you lick it, your eyes lighting up. “This is great! Is this what you’re making?” You look down at what he’s created. “I took some inspiration from the human world and decided to try my hand at making...crème brulée? How is it?” He stares at you, eager to hear your feedback. “It’s perfect,” you grin, shooting him a thumbs up giving him your approval. Your smile soon turns into a slight frown, Barbatos gives you a puzzled glance, “Is something the matter?”
“Your eyes...Barbatos, have you been overworking yourself?” a hand reaches up to cup his face, rubbing his cheek. Barbatos stiffens slightly from your touch, unaccustomed to the feeling of someone touching him so....intimately. Usually, he would have smacked away the hand caressing at him, but instead his eyes soften, and his hand reaches up to hold yours in his. “I will be fine, please do not worry,” he laughs softly, feeling a warm sensation in his chest from your concern over him. You shook your head, pouting at him, “I should talk to Diavolo about lightening the amount of work you’ve taken on recently, he’ll understand.” You pull away from him and Barbatos finds himself craving the warmth of your hands once more. He reaches out to you, pulling you back close to him, “No, that’s quite alright, although, thank you for your concern.” You sigh softly, turning around, “Then you have to promise me that you’ll get some rest. Please?” you give him the best puppy dog eyes that you can muster, and Barbatos’ resolve wavers.
“Very well, but at the very least, allow me to put the dessert into the fridge before it spoils.”
Solomon [🪄🤍]
He’s always looking out for you and your well-being
“Careful MC, watch your step, the footing here is uneven,” Solomon holds a hand out to you, a smile on his face.
“It’s not that bad,” you scoff, rolling your eyes, but despite what you said you still took his hand holding it in yours. His hands, seem to mold into yours, his fingers wrapping around yours. “Got you,” he chuckled softly, “Now I’m never going to let you go.” You push him lightly, laughing softly as you squeeze his hand in yours. Solomon’s grip on you is firm, and provides you with a sense of comfort as the two of you stroll through the bustling streets of the Devildom. You stare at all of the shops, a grin on your face as you pull Solomon along, pointing out the things that you find of interest.
Suddenly Solomon tugs you to the side and out of the way of a few demons, racing through the streets. He shields you with his body holding you close. Once they pass by, he looks stares at you affection in his gaze, “Are you alright? They pushed by pretty quickly.” His voice is soft as he continues staring at you. “I’m fine, I just wasn’t expecting you to do that,” you mumbled, feeling your face heat up. "Well there's more where that came from," he smiled, teasing you lightly, leaning in. You laugh softly, pushing him gently. Solomon only laughs, pulling away from you but not before, intertwining his fingers in with yours.
"Stay close to me alright? No harm should befall you as long as you stick by my side."
Simeon [🥞🩵]
He’s always there to lend a shoulder to you
"MC? What’s the matter?” a frown mars his pretty face as he leans over you, concern in his gaze. You turn to look at him from your position on the railing overlooking the vast expanse of the Devildom. You sniffled, wiping your face, trying to make yourself appear more presentable, “Ah Simeon! Sorry, I didn’t hear you come up, I just wanted some fresh air.” Simeon approaches you, worry still written all over his face. His hand reaches up to cup your face which causes you to stiffen from his touch.
“Have you been crying?” he murmurs, his brow creasing as he stared at you. “Huh? I....” you tear your face away from his hand, staring at the floor finding it difficult to hold his gaze. “No I just...like I said, I wanted fresh air,” you let out a shuddering gasp to try and recollect yourself. “MC...look at me,” Simeon lifts your face, fingers gently holding onto your chin. “You can talk to me alright?” To see you on the verge of tears like this, Simeon felt his heart ache, wondering how he could resolve this and console you.
Your breathing quickened as you stared at him feeling your body shake and you couldn’t hold it back anymore. Your arms found their way around his torso, clinging to him, your face buried into the crook of his neck for comfort. He emanates warmth, hands gently caressing your back, holding onto you. “It’s okay, I’m not going anywhere,” his voice murmurs from above you, and you can feel the steady rising and falling of his body.
You continue holding onto him, until you feel that you’re ready to speak. You pull your face away from him, biting your lip. “Sorry...I’m just....I’ve been feeling overwhelmed lately so I just wanted some time to myself, and then I couldn’t help myself, I guess I just started crying.” You grimace slightly, turning away from him. “MC...it’s okay to feel these things, there’s nothing to be ashamed about, I mean we can’t always control out emotions and that’s alright.” You feel yourself on the verge of tearing up once more but you force it back, shaking your head. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to just suddenly spring this on you.”
Simeon smiles softly, his hands squeezing your sides comfortingly. “My dear MC, there’s nothing you need to apologize for alright? You’re already doing great, and I will ensure that I will always be by your side to give you encouragement should you need it.”
