You feel your fists clench up, and tears pricking at the edge of your eyes as you turn away from him. "Is that all I am to you? Just some stupid human?"
Mammon falters upon seeing your face, realizing that his words actually cut deep. "Wait no I-". He reaches out for you, but you pull away, wrapping your arms around yourself protectively. "Forget it," you sniffle, moving away from him. "If that's how you really feel, then I'd prefer if you just left me alone." Before you can leave, Mammon, reaches out and tugs on your wrist, pulling you back towards him, pressing a hand against your waist to prevent you from escaping.
You shut your eyes, and turn to the side, not wanting to look at him. "Hey, will you please look at me?" His hand gently lifts your chin up, his thumb rubbing your cheek. "...I'm sorry, I said what I said without thinking, and I didn't mean to hurt you." You remain silent, still averting your gaze, but making no moves to get out of his grasp. Mammon takes this as a good sign, and wraps his arms around your waist tighter.
The two of you hold onto each other, not a single word being uttered out. Mammon takes a deep breath, collecting his thoughts before speaking. "...You mean the world to me m'kay? You're the best boyfriend I could ask for." he blushes, his grip tightening on you. You sniffle more, pressing your face against his chest that emanates warmth. You always manage to find comfort when he holds you like this. "You always say things like that, but do you know how much it hurts whenever you tell me you think I'm stupid, or weak, or dumb?" You mumble, nuzzling against him more.
" 'M sorry," Mammon whispers, rubbing your back comfortingly. "I will admit, I'm brash, and arrogant. T-that doesn't excuse what I say at times, but what I say and...what I mean is often two different things," he squeezes you a bit tighter, almost as if he's afraid of letting you go.
"So will you forgive me?"
"........"
"Okay."
You lean more into his touch, wrapping your arms around him. Mammon lets out a sigh of relief holding you tightly. "That's my human." He brushes a hand over your cheek, kissing your forehead, "I'll be more mindful of my words, okay? I love you."

I’m a spiritual kinda guy, and now that I’be finished cleansing my space I’m imagining doing a sound cleanse with Singing Bowls with Solomon, or other forms of cleansing. Being in a space with demons who mean harm can make your practice space pretty bad, I’d imagine. Gotta make sure you cleanse regularly. 👍
