y/n walked through the butter mansion with her left arm dangling low to her side as she dislocated her shoulder. aoi quickly took her inside and into a patients bed.

“How did this happen?”

aoi asked in concern yet stern tone of voice, y/n shrugged and in came her shorter boyfriend muichiro tokito. he is 5’3 as y/n is 5’5 everyone was just a little surprised since usually in japan the female is younger in the relationship.

“Y/n? What happened? A-are you ok?”

muichiro asked with worry on his face and in his voice, he sat beside y/n and held her free hand. tokito then gave y/n a hug before aoi popped her arm back into place.

“Thank you, a-and how did you know I was here?”

y/n asked as her boyfriend looked up at her kissing her cheek gently but with passion. she smiled and he smiled back.

“I was just coming to visit Tanjiro when I heard you had just came in.”

“Oh, I see. Well I’m fine now. That was the only thing I need.”

“Great then I’ll take you home.”

“Alright, thank you Aoi.”

“Of course, have a good day.”

y/n and muichiro held hands as they got up from the bed, the walked out the estate not looking back. when they got to their home, y/n made some hot tea for them to enjoy together.

tokito sat on their couch waiting for y/n to bring a cup, as she did and sat next to him muichiro immediately laid his head on her chest.

she placed both their cups down on the table on the side of her as she held him in her arms playing with his hair.

“Can we cuddle? I need you to hold me.”

“Oh yeah of course. Come here.”

y/n said as she patted her stomach, muichiro hugged her and sighed as he kissed her neck before laying his head back down, y/n wrapped her arms around him as well kissing the top of his head.

“Your so clingy you know?”

“How could I not be?”

she chuckled a little at him comment making him laugh, they began to laugh together while cuddling on the couch. their feet touching through their socks, legs tangled between one another.

“Cute.”

Muichiro finds you self harming

A sob echoed in the room, “I’m so worthless..!” As you continued to slash your arms with your sword. “I can’t believe I disappointed him!” You’ve been so clumsy all day, bumping and breaking things on accident and all the blame went to Muichiro. You remember the disappointed look on his face as your sobs echoed through the mist estate.

You heard some creaking and you looked towards the shoji only to be met with a shocked expression. “Tokito-san I-“ you tried to say something only to be embraced in a hug, “Why?..Why would you do this to yourself?!” He says with a slight hint of anger, you were a bit shocked to say the least, it was very out of character for him to say something like this.

You unable to utter a word, broke down in his arms. “I’m sorry! I’m sorry!” “Hey..calm down..deep breaths, deep breaths…” you did as he told and you eventually calmed down, blood got over his uniform but he didn’t seem to mind it and he took out what seemed to be bandages. You’ve also noticed his facial expression reverted back to the usual but you can see a saddening glint in his eyes.

“Do you care to explain why your doing this?” He asked calmly as he wrapped the bandages around your arm, you sniffled “I’m sorry! I kept messing things up and all the blame went to you!” you said with a shaky tone, “people blamed me? Hm..I must have forgot” you closed your eyes and took deep breaths and by the time you opened them Muichiro was already done.

“You won’t train tomorrow, i’ll also send a letter to Oyakata-sama to let him know not to give you any missions until you’ve healed.” “Tokito-san, I’m sorry but I must refuse-“ “you dare try to disobey a hashira?” You sigh knowing no matter what you say he won’t listen. “..alright” you mumbled. “Good. I have a futon set up in my room, you’ll be sleeping with me today.” “Tokito-san! I am truly greatful for this but I would not like to disrespect your privacy-“ he gave you a look which instantly shut you up.

“it’s Muichiro to you.” “Now get moving or do I have to carry you?” He said bluntly, you were left flustered thinking about it and you were brought back to reality as Muichiro flicked your forehead.

Muichiro tugged on your hand as he tightly held it “let’s go.” “Tokit- Muichiro-san! What about the mess?!” You looked down at the floor as it was a pool of your own blood “the kakushi’s will clean it.” Before you let out a word of protest Muichiro was already dragging you to his room, you sighed but also let out a small smile knowing your relationship with the hashira seemed to have gotten stronger.

Doesn’t really sound like angst but ok-

recently y/n and muichiro have been put on missions with some of the other hashira and y/n kept going on missions with tomioka, in muichiro’s mind they seemed to get closer and closer each time they got back from their mission.

y/n and tomioka would always be playfully making jokes or lightly punching each other, sometimes he would even move her hair out the way.

muichiro had enough when they walked in the butterfly mansion this time holding hands, holding hands?! muichiro thought to himself. he walked over to them with a stern look on his face, y/n could tell he was angry or somewhat jealous based of his aura.

“Why is he holding your hand?”

y/n looked down and saw tomioka holding onto y/n wrist, she laughed a little at his question before answering.

“He is holding my wrist because I might’ve sprained it. He’s just helping Mui.”

“S-sorry.”

“Well he’s done enough: I can take it from here. Thank you.”

muichiro said in a sassy tone, he grabbed y/n’s wrist gently making tomioka let go of her. muichiro took y/n inside the estate for the checkup as tomioka went to the water mansion.

“What was that all about? You jealous?”

y/n asked as she sat in a patients bed waiting for aoi to show up, muichiro rubbed his thumb finger in circles around her broken wrist looking down at it.

“You and Tomioka seem closer than before. I’m not sure if I like it.”

“So you are, we’ll look. It isn’t like that ok? I love you and only you. Me and him are just friends, and I’m pretty sure I’m his only friend. Muichiro. You ave nothing to be jealous about.”

muichiro’s face lit up a little as his eyes began to glisten more, he leaned down and kissed y/n’s cheek. soon after aoi came in for the checkup.
