+ Congratulations! You have won the mist hashira's heart!

+ Maybe this isn't such a congratulatory event considering he becomes obsessed and quite literally crazy over you.

+ Besides the crazy part, I think Muichiro is a fascinating yandere to write about, there are so many aspects of his character to consider before you can truly make an accurate assumption about how he would act lovestruck with a girl. For one, I think you caught his attention because of the fact he couldn't forget you. Maybe it was your beauty, or your grace, perhaps your personality made it so he couldn't stop himself from wondering about you every day, but whatever it was, he thirst for more. He had seen other pretty ladies all across Japan, however, there was something about you that he couldn't get out of his mind.

+ At first, he would hide his true obsession for you deep within himself. On the outside, it seemed like an innocent crush. He followed you around like a lost puppy, a soft smile adorning his face every time you did something he deemed "cute". Other times, he would help you out with small tasks, like sharpening your blade, or helping you around the butterfly mansion. You appreciated the help, and never even noticed how his warm smile turned into a sour grimace every time someone else spoke to you.

+ The next stage in his obsession would be overprotectiveness. He would follow you on missions, always showing up at the last moment to save you whether you needed it or not. In Muichiro's mind, you always need to be protected, you're too small and fragile to protect yourself. Another part of this next stage would be an obsessive compulsion to be the only person near you at all times. He can no longer swallow his jealousy of other people. Every time anyone comes near you let alone another man, he gets a searing glob of hot lava weighing him down in the pit of his stomach. To swallow the acid reflux and shove his hatred of the other person down was pure torture for him. So to battle that feeling, he would get more needy towards you, to prove to himself that you did love him and he had nothing to worry about. So for the next few days he rested his head on your shoulder, let his arm drape around your waist, fell asleep in your lap, and whined when you said you needed to go home.

+ With the way he was carrying on, most of the pillars thought you two were a couple, the others who didn't thought you guys were married. ( Muichiro cannot deny that he loves these rumors.)

+ The next and final stage of his love would be the inevitable kidnapping. He had enough with the thought of sharing you with anyone else, so when you two were having your evening tea together, he slipped you something to make you fall asleep. You started to feel nauseous, and weak, black spots clouded you vision and your hearing faded little by little. Muichiro rushed towards you and set your head on his lap, caressing your face and whispering words of comfort to your weakening state. Your vision faded to black.

+ You woke up in the mist estate, on a comfortable silk bed with warm blankets surrounding you, your body sank deep into the plush material of the mattress, you felt safe. (gosh I'm so tired right now.) However that was the opposite of how you should be feeling. Muichiro lay beside you with his limbs wrapped around your waist and torso, he was holding on to you for dear life, pressing your face into his neck and holding the back of your head with his hand as to push you closer to him. His eyes fluttered open at your change of breathing, and he looked down at you. His eyes held the most sincere and warm stare you had ever seen, he looked more happy then you had ever seen him before in your life. To your surprise, Muichiro started to pepper your face with kisses, finally planting one on your lips making you gasp, and in turn, he chuckled.

+ " Oh darling, I cannot explain to you how long I have waited to finally have you in my arms like this, welcome home angel."

y/n walked through the butter mansion with her left arm dangling low to her side as she dislocated her shoulder. aoi quickly took her inside and into a patients bed.

“How did this happen?”

aoi asked in concern yet stern tone of voice, y/n shrugged and in came her shorter boyfriend muichiro tokito. he is 5’3 as y/n is 5’5 everyone was just a little surprised since usually in japan the female is younger in the relationship.

“Y/n? What happened? A-are you ok?”

muichiro asked with worry on his face and in his voice, he sat beside y/n and held her free hand. tokito then gave y/n a hug before aoi popped her arm back into place.

“Thank you, a-and how did you know I was here?”

y/n asked as her boyfriend looked up at her kissing her cheek gently but with passion. she smiled and he smiled back.

“I was just coming to visit Tanjiro when I heard you had just came in.”

“Oh, I see. Well I’m fine now. That was the only thing I need.”

“Great then I’ll take you home.”

“Alright, thank you Aoi.”

“Of course, have a good day.”

y/n and muichiro held hands as they got up from the bed, the walked out the estate not looking back. when they got to their home, y/n made some hot tea for them to enjoy together.

tokito sat on their couch waiting for y/n to bring a cup, as she did and sat next to him muichiro immediately laid his head on her chest.

she placed both their cups down on the table on the side of her as she held him in her arms playing with his hair.

“Can we cuddle? I need you to hold me.”

“Oh yeah of course. Come here.”

y/n said as she patted her stomach, muichiro hugged her and sighed as he kissed her neck before laying his head back down, y/n wrapped her arms around him as well kissing the top of his head.

“Your so clingy you know?”

“How could I not be?”

she chuckled a little at him comment making him laugh, they began to laugh together while cuddling on the couch. their feet touching through their socks, legs tangled between one another.

“Cute.”

Muichiro finds you self harming

A sob echoed in the room, “I’m so worthless..!” As you continued to slash your arms with your sword. “I can’t believe I disappointed him!” You’ve been so clumsy all day, bumping and breaking things on accident and all the blame went to Muichiro. You remember the disappointed look on his face as your sobs echoed through the mist estate.

You heard some creaking and you looked towards the shoji only to be met with a shocked expression. “Tokito-san I-“ you tried to say something only to be embraced in a hug, “Why?..Why would you do this to yourself?!” He says with a slight hint of anger, you were a bit shocked to say the least, it was very out of character for him to say something like this.

You unable to utter a word, broke down in his arms. “I’m sorry! I’m sorry!” “Hey..calm down..deep breaths, deep breaths…” you did as he told and you eventually calmed down, blood got over his uniform but he didn’t seem to mind it and he took out what seemed to be bandages. You’ve also noticed his facial expression reverted back to the usual but you can see a saddening glint in his eyes.

“Do you care to explain why your doing this?” He asked calmly as he wrapped the bandages around your arm, you sniffled “I’m sorry! I kept messing things up and all the blame went to you!” you said with a shaky tone, “people blamed me? Hm..I must have forgot” you closed your eyes and took deep breaths and by the time you opened them Muichiro was already done.

“You won’t train tomorrow, i’ll also send a letter to Oyakata-sama to let him know not to give you any missions until you’ve healed.” “Tokito-san, I’m sorry but I must refuse-“ “you dare try to disobey a hashira?” You sigh knowing no matter what you say he won’t listen. “..alright” you mumbled. “Good. I have a futon set up in my room, you’ll be sleeping with me today.” “Tokito-san! I am truly greatful for this but I would not like to disrespect your privacy-“ he gave you a look which instantly shut you up.

“it’s Muichiro to you.” “Now get moving or do I have to carry you?” He said bluntly, you were left flustered thinking about it and you were brought back to reality as Muichiro flicked your forehead.

Muichiro tugged on your hand as he tightly held it “let’s go.” “Tokit- Muichiro-san! What about the mess?!” You looked down at the floor as it was a pool of your own blood “the kakushi’s will clean it.” Before you let out a word of protest Muichiro was already dragging you to his room, you sighed but also let out a small smile knowing your relationship with the hashira seemed to have gotten stronger.

Doesn’t really sound like angst but ok-

(i know this is VERY late but happy late birthday 🫶 i hope you enjoy this small writing)

Muichiro x Phoenix

Muichiro and Phoenix just started dating, Phoenix has always been very easy to become flustered, Muichiro on the other hand became flustered on rare occasions; he liked her a lot though. So much he actually tried to have some tone in his voice.

“Where should we go on a date? It’ll be our first you know.” Mui asked Phoenix who was reading on the front porch of the Butterfly Mansion; “Oh, umm..how about a restaurant?” Phoenix suggested as she put her book down still opened; it was the first thing that came to her mind although she is very shy when it comes to eating with another person.

“Sure, I know a fine place nearby.” Muichiro spoke in a somewhat brighter tone, it sounded a bit weird coming out of him but she found it cute nonetheless. Phoenix hesitantly leaned in closer to Mui and placed a very soft kiss over his cheek; quickly she lifted her book again covering her blushing face; Muichiro curiously looked over the book and tapped it down a little to see his girlfriend flushed face.

“Did you, kiss my cheek?” He asked innocently as he placed his right hand where she kissed him; Phoenix who was blushing even more nodded slow and raised her book back up to cover her face again. “Cute.”

Later at the restaurant they had ordered their meals, they both order a glass of water which came quickly with straws: Phoenix took a nice long sip while Muichiro swirled his water around before drinking as if he was mixing something in. “So you’ve really never been here before?” Muichiro asked, Phoenix shook her head side to side; “Nope, first time. Is it really good here?”

“Yes, I think so personally.” Muichiro nodded, soon the food came and they thanked the waiter, Muichiro began to eat while Phoenix was taking small bites in fear Mui will judge her. “Why are you taking small bites? You should enjoy it while it’s hot.” Phoenix blushed of embarrassment but nodded as he blew on her meal then took a bite unknowing her boyfriend watched her. As she noticed him staring at her she almost choked but quickly drank her water then wiping her face with the napkin.

“Why are you staring at me like that..?” Phoenix spoke in a low voice, a faint smile formed over Muichiro’s lips and he took a bite of his food; “I just think you look cute when you eat like that. No need to become so shy.”

Walking back from their date Phoenix decided to hold Muichiro’s hand; as she gently grabbed it their fingers naturally intertwined together.

“This is new. Should we hold hands more often?” Muichiro asked as a very faint blushed was visible over his cheek and across his nose; “Yeah, I enjoy holding your hand.” Phoenix blushed as she tried her best not to make eye contact with Mui who was fully intended to look into her eyes.

“So what should our next date be?” Mui asked and Phoenix giggled a little; “Already thinking of our next one?”
