February (Femslash February) Week Two : "To Walk With You"

I find it funny that Oliver just starts calling a Grim Reaper…well…Jim. Maybe it was on accident or intentional?? Like maybe Oliver just doesn’t want this poor being to be sad or grim. Or maybe he really just thought this guy’s name was Jim. 🤷‍♂️😅🤣

But beyond the humor, I think Oliver reminds us that our attitude shapes our reality. Let's all take a cue from Oliver and strive to find the upside and positivity in every situation! 😊❤️

Honestly… Mondays are rough

I feel like I am preaching to a choir on that one though. Getting up after a weekend of “resting” to start your work routine all over again is not easy. Especially when you feel like you didn’t get enough rest or time to yourself.

I do want to preface this by saying that I am glad I actually love my job, because if I’m semi-complaining about working on a Monday and I like my job… I can only imagine people who dislike or despise their jobs.

I currently believe that a shorter work week, would not only be better for people’s work life balance, but allow for better productivity in the work place. That is just an opinion though. Maybe I should do some research on this and post and update.

If you’re reading this, you should let me know what helps you get up on Monday mornings instead of just choosing to rot in your bed. I’m actually pretty interested to know.

Life’s new warning label: Indulge. Learn. Receive responsibly 💋

To be unknown is the best feeling. I mean it. No pity intended.

I want to be known in my home. 🏡 I want my children to be known in their own home. I don’t want them thinking the internet is their home like I do 😑🤔🙄🥲✨😬 must be a generational thing. 👀

I don’t wish to be known here. I wish to know more about myself always. I am in love with the fact that there can be infinite versions of me. I love moving with the winds of change. So how can anyone possibly know me before I do?

I think people go out and try to “find themselves” on the internet. Like they are diving all in with the “let’s get to know myself” ideology. So receptive. So eager. It can be the downfall of human nature I think.

Or is it?

Point being, what does this flood of information really do to us? We have knowledge dripping from the tips of our fingers and we are licking it all up like a melting ice cream cone in summer sun.

Like

gluttonous humans. Tisk tisk.

Which brings me back to why I enjoy being alone and using my gluttonous nature to enhance my experience in life, not my taste of life, I was born with taste.

Yes, we need human connection but are you letting the gluttonous world tell you that you need more? Don’t forget what you have.
