I think, in my opinion, that if Loki make it back and confess his love for Mobius and vice versa, Mobius would suggest to keep their love secret at the beginning.

Both of them aren't really experienced in serious and healthy relationships and mostly, they are friends. Both might be scared to ruin something by calling themselves lovers.

And Mobius being a sweetheart, he cares about Loki's feelings and he thinks that keeping their growing love secret would avoid pressure from the others (even tho we know they would be so happy and without judgement). Because it would make their relation official and the pressure could make them feel nervous and unsure.

"why keeping it secret ? We're not ashamed of it, are we ?" Loki would asks, filled with insecurities.

"we're not. Definitely not. Just give ourselves some time... Don't be so hard on us so soon. It's not a speed contest, it's a slow cruise. And let's be honest, we might know what we feel— we still don't know what the hell we're doing right now, so... Let's not make it more complicated than it is already. Just... Keep it simple. Between us. Until we know... Until we know what we truly want. Or rather... How we want it. I mean... I don't want us to be nervous more than we are now. Don't you agree ?" Mobius would reply.

And of course, Loki would understand. More than ever.

In fact, it would make their story even more meaningful. Searching for answers, together. Testing each other's boundaries. Learning to know each other more. Seeking for the right moment to cross the line between friends and lovers by experiencing their first kiss. All that while taking their sweet time, feeling like they're the only persons in the world as none of their friends knows about them being a thing. Like a honeymoon phase they live in one of the branches, with patience, love and consideration.

Even when Loki would come back to TVA after all this time, glad to finally see his friends again. While b-15, o.b. and Casey are all happy to see the duo back, Mobius and Loki would exchange soft gaze, full of meanings while they blush.

And once they're both ready and sure of themselves, they would even forget about their agreement and kiss in public without the slightest embarrassment.

And b-15 would gasp and smile as wide as she can.

When Mobius didn’t go to the bar, he’d stay home, streaming movies all night. This week, he felt inclined to explore the rom-coms.

As he watched on: the witty banter, the loving looks, the subtle caresses, it dawned on him…

Mobius needed popcorn. And M&Ms.

He mixed the two together and ate the combination while he watched on.

Elsewhere, Loki watched his reactions to the movie’s jokes. Every time Mobius grinned ear to ear, every thoughtful head-tilt, every hearty laugh.

The ending approached. The characters hadn’t seen each other in so long. It was pouring rain and yet the lead characters were in a trance. They confessed their love and embraced.

Mobius paused the film and sat up on his couch. Loki too sat up on his throne. It had dawned on Mobius.

“Am I… Am I in love?” Mobius chuckled. “I’m in love with Loki.” he whispered but the god of stories heard him loud and clear.

It took everything in Loki to not let go of the branches.

Loki and Mobius, though far from each other, smiled widely, & just as quickly, their smiles faded & their frowns formed.

Outside, the rain began to pour.

all im saying is marvel has the opportunity to do the funniest thing by making lokius canon. like come on. think about it. here is this character who has been one of the most beloved by fans in a HUGE franchise for over a decade, has thousands if not millions of fanfiction written about them and obviously EVERYONE wants to know who they'll be paired up and turns out the one who has them trailing after him like lost puppy and basically acting as his guard dog is a seemingly very boring bureaucrat with an obsession with jet skis and a tendency to stress eat. like all shipping aside wouldn't that actually be the funniest thing you've ever witnessed bc it would be for me.

Loki using his Shadows on you after your behaviour at a party

TW: Slight Voeyerism, sex with shadows, hints to somnophilia.

Odin had held a grand festival. It had beautiful nymphs and goddesses from different worlds. You had dressed in a beautiful black top with a matching skirt. The shirt cut off before your navel and the skirt cut off before your thighs.

Wrapped in a beautiful glittery veil, and a golden headband. You were stunning, in Loki's eyes you shined brighter than all the stars above, glittering on the ceiling.

Grünle a jöttenhimer had asked you to dance and you agreed to one just to indulge him. Suprisingly akward was far from it. He was a gentleman through and through. With slight jokes and remarks. You enjoyed his company yes. Buqt you wished to be in the arms of a god a few yards away.

Although those yards felt like seas. You knew this wasn't one sided as you felt his gaze on you, and you only the entire time. Grünle brought you close for the last time and gave you a polite hug.

Kissing you cheek, he smiled and told you to enjoy yourself. You simply smiled and said you would.

You allowed the music and the wine to guide you, mingling with he crowd. You didn't feel his gaze anymore. You started to turn but was caught when yoy fwlt something trace your waist.

"You of all people should know that i get jealous very easily, especially with people i care about," he whispered gently into your neck.

He moved you to he music and you began to dance. You didn't need to look behind you, or at the long veiny hands infront of you.

And he was jealous.

The dance between you was filled with tension, he held you closer at parts, his hand going higher towards your neck as though to collar you.

You smiled to yourself, if he ever wished to do that, boy would you let him. He kissed your cheek at the end of the dance. Before stealing one from you lips. It was a quick one.

You only bit your lip and curtsied and after your dance gave your hand out to another, and another, and another. Till you swore you shoes had worn out. With every dance, they would swoop in a kiss your cheek.

You could basically feel his jealousy rising with each peck. You had gone out to the adjoining balcony for air. You tried to gather your thoughts. You had teased the god of mischief. Surely some form of punishment should be on its way.

As you stood pondering what you had done. You realised you weren't alone. You felt them.

His shadows.

You felt them slip under your dress, fondling and groping you. One even slipped into your hand and took your drink. Sliding it onto the balcony table.

The slowly relieved you of you dress sliding it off your shoulders. Soon you were on your back, softly moaning at the invisible person on you. You felt everything, from your breasts to your nethers.

It's not like you've never been touched there before, it's just that you've never been touched by his shadows.
