hi !! i forgot to post these initially, but ive rewritten a bunch of stuff from my kny fantasy au :]

these are just general messy pieces of a couple people + infodumping below :]]c

(Piece 1)

Kyojuro and Senjuro are a duo of brothers born into the Rengoku family, that's left their sons especially well known for generations for their eagerness and being willing to assist others with any sorts of labour or tasks they're unable to complete by themselves. Being from a long line of centaurs, Kyojuro himself included, this gives them a lot of advantages over the general population who are predominantly human and allows them to physically handle a lot more. Senjuro, however, is a little bit of a different story- Shinjuro and Ruka Rengoku aren't an expected pairing from this bloodline, with Ruka being a faun lady rather than another centaur. Because of this, instead of being the norm, Senjuro, despite having the strong, usual features of a Rengoku, was born a faun, leading him to having to help people in a slightly different way to his elder brother. However, it doesn't stop him from accompanying Kyojuro out every now and then.

(Piece 2)

A well renowned group of performers, labelled misfits by some who have their reservations about their tales and music, Tengen Uzui and what are rumoured by some to be his three wives Suma, Makio and Hinatsuru have made a name for themselves here after coming out of nowhere with the girls' musical talents and Tengen's unique and self-described "flashy" appearance, often the initial factor drawing the common folk to their shows, to which they ultimately stay for their display, intrigued by their stories. Stories that are brought to life with stunning song and performance, allowing an almost vivid, painterly visual to appear to the audience. Whether this is merely their minds at work or truly a piece of the group's own magic is debated, but the true answer has yet to be revealed.

(Piece 3)

Within the Demigoddess of Life & Health's sanctuary of peace, the center at which her tree of life lies- accompanying her guardian Yushiro aswell are the two children she took in and under her wing while they were still quite young. An older brother and younger sister, Gyutaro and Daki are both satyrs with surprisingly, vastly different appearances. The duo were originally only to stay short-term- however as Lady Tamayo begins to realise that there is more to these two than first appears, she asks them personally if they would be willing to stay with her longer. The pair since a young age have experienced strange visions of an... inverted world, displaying many horrors beyond belief to commoners, however such tall tales have never been truly believed by anybody else, labeling the children as merely 'crying wolf' because their world has been at peace for centuries. Why these visions of theirs intrigue the Demigoddess is unknown, but when it's brought up, she often has a look of distant sadness on her face.

The duo were often left to their own devices as they grew older, and seemed to eventually grow to enjoy causing trouble, described by some as delinquents- though one day, a young man they had found near their home had caught their interest. He didn't appear to look anything like they had seen before- with scales and horns, almost reptilian in appearance, if he didn't have the face of a man, albeit his cheeks covered in scales. He introduced himself to the siblings as Kaigaku, and boldly stated he was a draconoid- however they had been presumed extinct for years. He had run away from his adoptive home... yet again, and had gone out into the forest to get away from the stuffiness back there, however ultimately got lost as he wasn't aware of where he was going, not often venturing out until recent years in 'teenage rebellion'. This was the start of the small group's friendship, as the young man would continue to come back to the siblings to see them specifically, which caused them to eventually enjoy one another's company. Lady Tamayo does have a few small reservations about him, though hasn't disclosed as to why to anybody.

(Piece 4)

Living within a small estate in the woods with her sisters- Shinobu is a doctor of sorts, though it certainly wouldn't be assumed at first glance, due to her more unprofessional approach. Don't allow that to fool you, however- due to her lesser magical and physical strength as a fairy, she instead has devoted herself to helping the less fortunate in a more medical way and has succeeded far more than the average run of the mill practitioner. She sometimes lurks over previous patients who suffered from particularly serious issues for a while, merely in order to keep her eyes on them and see how they fare. One previous patient in particular she's kept an eye on is a curious sorcerer- one... seemingly born with his powers, rather than having to study arcane text in order to gain them as most do. Glowing marks engraved on his skin, Giyuu was a rather unique case to the sisters. With his mortal body unable to fully handle his power's true extent, his form began to erode. It was only with the enchanted red bindings around his body he was able to contain his power, at the cost of his ability to use it as he pleases, it's repeated use often causing exhaustion. He's made a full recovery as of now, however with what's contained inside of him, his state is quite unpredictable and could change in the blink of an eye.

KNY x Urban Fantasy AU (Part 1)

Gyomei Himejima: Dragon(duh)

He's an Eastern Dragon, 'cause of him being Japanese.

Facts

In human form, he's still 7'2, which to dragons, is a little shorter than average.

He's married to Mitsuri, but being AroAce, it mostly was for tax reasons. So Mitsuri is free to pursue other romantic relations.

He's an Earth-type, but his blindness makes it a little harder, but he can summon a tree or two.

Fluff

He owns a rock cat named Daisy, whom he accidently summoned one day.

He is the certified tree-hugger. He'll collect plants and names them all. His favorites are succulents and cacti.

While generally polite, he can be surprisingly snarky when upset.

Angst

His flavor is lack of parental figures, low self-esteem, and emotional breakdowns.

The reason Gyomei accidently summoned Daisy was because he was having a good crying session after an argument.

He used to fall victim to peer pressure(not as much anymore).

KNY - MY LORE (Fantasy AU)

Well, I love fantasy stuff in general, I'm a huge fan of a Song of Ice and Fire, Dark Souls, Elden Ring, Berserk and everything like that, the list goes on and these are just the ones I love the most for their stories and philosophy.

Anyway I thought that a thing about Demon Slayer was really really sad and... unflashy lol: the fact that you don't see the "weapon art effect" when characters perform breathing tecniques... this is just... a bit sad to me. SO WHY NOT ADD AN AU TO ALL THE LIST I ALREADY HAVE TO WRITE? (I'm a complete failure).

Anyway LET'S DO THIS! LET'S MAKE THIS FLASHY.💅✨️

So, first of all, I decided to use mage classes for all my characters (basically, for example Sanemi is not the Wind Hashira, he's an aeromancer).

Soooo here's a list:

🔥 Kyojuro Rengoku (flame) : pyromancer

🌪 Sanemi Shinazugawa (wind): aeromancer

🪨 Fujiko Mori (stone): geomancer

💧 Giyu Tomioka (water): hydromancer

⚡️ Makomo Urokodaki (thunder/lightning): electomancer

🔮 Enmu Tamio (dream): oniromancer

Since I love this one so much I couldn't help but give him a lot of importance in this AU too, you become an oniromancer when you study all the other elemental schools, and you can achieve this really really big power... you're basically everyone's guide and everyone's judge, it's not an easy task.

And those were the main classes (dream doesn't count as one)... all the other magic schools are born from these ones and of course they don't need explanations.

So, the following ones are derived from water, I'll explain to you, I swear.

🧊 Sabito Ashina (ice): cryomancer

🌫 Muichiro Tokito (mist): brumancer

Okay, so I know that in the original story mist comes from wind but here I made another connection: mist is basically a cloud, a cloud is made of water.

🪷 Kanae Kocho (flower): floromancer

I know, usually you would call someone that uses flower and plants a druid, but the druid wouldn't fit her at all, since everyone in my AU is from an academy where they actually studied to learn magic, and their powers don't come from a deep connection to nature or something like this.

🦋 Shinobu Kocho (insects): entomancer

In case you don't know entomology is the branch of biology that studies insects, so I think the name fits her, anyway her magic works same as Kanae, the only thing that's different is that her spells look like insects and not like flowers, but in terms of damage is poison damage in both cases.

We're done with water derived magic so now we're going to thunder derived magic!

💎 Tengen Uzui (sound): Sonomancer

I thought of this kind of magic like something that actually confuses enemies A LOT, so he can make fake sounds, and once his enemy is distracted he can attack, I imagined his magic to look like black holes or something like that.

✨️ Asuka Rengoku (light): radiomancer

⚫️ Ayumi Shinazugawa (shadow): umbromancer

Now, let's go to magic that comes from flames (and I have to dive deeper into my pyromancy lore, I'm a ASOIAF fan do you think that if you use flames you're completely normal?)

🩷 Mitsuri Kanroji (love): enchantress

Okay, this is a bit complicated, I imagined it to look like pink flame, and there's nothing strange in that but I think that those pink flames couldn't be really really effective alone so, they have the side effect to... charm your enemies, so you can easily defeat them.

🐍 Obanai Iguro (snake): ophimancer

First of all, "ophis" is the ancient Greek word for "snake". And second, there's a reason why I put this in the flames category, the most evident one is that it looks like snakes made from black flames, the other one is a lore reason and I'll explain it better in another post.

Let's come to wind-born magic, there's just one, and this is because wind is not easily to manipulate

🌩 Hiromi Kazeshi (storm): fulgomancer

It looks like red lighting, nothing more nothing less.

The last one should be stone but in another post I'll explain you why no one has ever created other spells from geomancy, this is basically because you physically can't, to make it quick.

Sanemi & Giyuu were about 16-17 when they both individually went on an undercover mission in the Kaze no Kuni capital city, they henged/disguised as fake personas Kazura (vaguely derived from kaze, wind) and Nakuu ('to lose')

Kazura is supposed to be darker skinned + two-toned eyes like that of Kazan no Kuni descendants & is sensible and confident but lazy, Nakuu has a hairstyle + facial shape from Mizu no Kuni & an outgoing enthusiastic and pretty sly personality

Giyuu put some particular effort into his disguise and really got into the character he was playing up, he also had fun with it where he could- and thats how he met Kazura. i dont have or really want specifics of why where how or such bc it ruins the imaginative bit of it ig? but while they were on the mission they were meeting up, they both knew the other was disguised but neither pried about it. they fell in love a bit, however it means, but as Nakuu's namesake they were never going to last. it was a mission and when it was done they would leave for home and never meet again.

but then they did :)

at 19 sanemi and giyuu had a political marriage arranged(forced) by Kyogo being a greedy fuck and wanting more trade from the Tomioka, in both the Happy & Broken marriage paths giyuu's the one who notices sanemi acting the same way as kazura in some ways and realizes the two are one in the same. In the Happy marriage its a thought that brings a smile to his face and a jest about how they fell in love twice, in the Broken marriage its only twice the heartbreak after the apathy sanemi regards him with and the loneliness that consumes him

(This is the sanemi fantasy AU, there will definitely be lore, and mentions of rape lots of others So MDNI.)

You were born into the Hernandez family which is A family that believes all females should be housewives. And they train their daughters that. How unfortunate you to be born in such a family. They might've been rich but you've always been suffering. You were raped by your dad's friend when you were six. If you couldn't do something right your parents would literally beat you if you didn't. what a hell hole it was. One you turned 18 you sobbed in your room silently because you found out you were getting married off to the man who raped you as a kid.

you wiped the tears away and decided to runaway. Grabbing the biggest bag you had. You put important clothes.. Water bottles.. Snacks.. And a little star necklace in there. Why did it have to be you who lived in such a hellish life.

You carefully climbed out the window. Missing a step you slipped and fell 1 story.. A loud thud was made which alerted the 3 headed dogs on your property. You quickly got up and started running even though your leg was cramping up.. You never really ran so.. You were quickly out of breath. You could feel the back of you throat dry as your stomach cramped. The taste of water was all you could think of. But you couldn't stop the gate was right there.. Freedom was in your grasp.. You could reach it.. Excitement was running through your body.. You began speeding to.the gate.. You felt a sharp pain in your foot.. Tripping down onto the floor. Drool was on you foot.. One of the dog's head had gotten to you.. Glancing at the gate and at the dog you started kicking the dog with your free foot. Still panting and out of breath.. You saw your parents rushing towards you. Kicking the dogs teeth out and got up began running again.. The pain was unbelievable. The dog had bitten you good. Your mother was chasing you yelling your name to the point it was making your head hurt. Fog was appearing which blocked you vision to where you only saw a murky grey

Your vision was becoming blurry.. Stumping left and right was all you were doing.. You could barely stand before..

You woke up later to be.. In a cozy place.. It was like a nest but in a cave? where were you know..? Are your parents gonna kill you..? Why does this happen to you...
