And her prayers were heard, but it was not the Divine that answered her.
That was certainly the devil in the guise of an angel, she thought as those corrupted and empty eyes searched her soul with extreme voracity.
He turned a sweet, false smile on her, before pushing her into the abyss.

Tumblr media
It had been almost a year since your brother’s death and you still couldn’t believe it was real. His bedroom door had been practically sealed shut, neither you nor your father daring to venture inside. The sight of his empty room getting dusty would have just made it that much more real - something the both of you didn’t need as the constant news coverage had done enough of that job already.
It wasn’t necessarily that you were so distraught over Seowon’s death that you couldn’t come to terms with it. He was your older brother, your own blood, but that didn’t mean the two of you had been the closest siblings. You would describe your relationship over the years as lukewarm at best. You loved him because he was your brother but you never truly felt like you knew him. It was also hard to mourn with news vans following you everywhere you went.
The part that was hard to believe was the way in which he had died. He had been found in the woods near your house with seventeen stab wounds. It didn’t make any sense. Your brother had been a star football player at your school, part of the popular crowd. He was well-liked amongst students and teachers. You didn’t think anyone had a bad opinion of him. It’s possible he had rivals especially in sports or romances but nothing that would warrant murder.
Initially, there had been a lot of speculation in the town and you had heard all the rumors, including the one where your father had killed him in a fit of rage. You knew it could never be true; your father had been devastated by your brother’s death. He had been emotionless before, but now he was just a shell of the man he was. And whoever said loss could bring people closer had obviously never met your father.
The truth was that your father had always been emotionally closed for as long as you had known him. Your mother had died from complications after your birth and though he had never voiced it, you knew that he had resented you for being the cause of your mother’s death. At times, you wished you had never been born because living with the guilt had been too much to bear especially living with a father who never forgave you for it.
When the police eventually did find a suspect, you were shocked to say the least. Min Yoongi was a few years older than you and had already graduated when the murder weapon as well as your brother’s blood on his clothing was found. He had always been a serious guy and if you asked most people, they would say they had always believed he kept skeletons in his closet. You knew he was a bit of a recluse, but you never would have guessed he was capable of murder. The motive they came up with was that Yoongi had been jealous of your brother’s popularity and mixed with his own mental instability, things inevitably came to a day and he decided to act out his aggressions.
Many people wanted to know your side of it, whether you believed the story and whatnot. You had mostly stayed silent on the matter, unlike your father who had screamed at Yoongi in court and had to be dragged out of the room. You can still remember the stares you got from everyone that day - it was the same look you got from most of the town and your classmates. A mix of pity, curiosity, and judgment.
It was safe to say you hadn’t been looking forward to this time of year. The true crime fanatics had seemingly been ramping up their shenanigans, hoping to possibly find some clue that would connect more of the dots. The stares you always felt in town and at school hadn’t lessened and seemed to be picking up a bit more in recent weeks as the anniversary drew closer.
Which is why most nights, you would find yourself holed up in your bedroom where it was calmer. Much to your best friend's dismay, as she would always try to drag you away to some party or school outing. Haena hated it when you closed yourself off and didn’t believe in wallowing alone. In her eyes, it was as if your introvertedness was just a sickness that she had to cure.
The only person who understood your feelings was your boyfriend, Taehyung. He, too, was a bit of a homebody and didn’t mind staying in with you most nights. He did have more friends and liked to party, but he never pressured you to go out. Part of you believed he enjoyed having you all to himself that way and for some reason you didn’t mind it.
You don’t know how you got so lucky getting a boyfriend like Taehyung. He was so dreamy with dark black locks that were often tucked behind his ear and matching dark eyes that seemed to always be on you. He was an artist and could often be found wearing distressed jeans and sweaters with little splotches of paint here and there. He was extremely affectionate, always having to have his hands on you some way or another.
The two of you met in freshman year art class where you had quickly realized you had no business holding a paintbrush, much to Taehyung’s amusement. He would offer to fix up your paintings when the teacher wasn’t looking and was the only reason you ended up passing. It wasn’t until a little after that semester that the two of you started dating.
A low tapping interrupted your thoughts as you sat in bed, almost too quiet to hear over the television playing in your room. You got up to investigate, pulling your curtains open to see none other than Taehyung leaning up against your window using a ladder to get up here. You weren’t even sure if that ladder was yours but you were glad your window didn’t face the street where others could see.
You opened the window as you spluttered in shock, stepping back to allow him room to clamber inside. You held your breath as you kept an ear out to make sure your dad hadn’t heard his nosy arrival, eyes trained on the door like he would bust in any moment.
“What are you doing here?” You hissed once you had regained your composure.
“What, I can’t visit my girlfriend?” Taehyung pouted. “I missed you.”
“I missed you too but if my dad catches you-” “He won’t.” Taehyung cut you off, leveling you with his beautiful dark eyes as he leaned closer to you on the bed. “I’m stealthy.”
You breathed out a sigh, at a loss for words from his sudden close proximity. He reminded you of a tiger the way he stared you down like you were prey. You were so mesmerized by him you had missed him inching closer until you could feel his breath on your lips.
“Tae-” You tried to stop him but he shushed you, pressing his mouth to yours.
Taehyung was your first serious boyfriend and there hadn’t been a single dull moment in your relationship yet. For you, every new experience you had with him had been a thrill. But there was only so many heated makeouts you two could have before you knew he would want to do more. He understood you were inexperienced and was willing to wait but you wondered how much longer before he cracked.
As if on cue, his hand grazed your thigh lightly as if to test the waters. When you didn’t stop him, he grew more confident and raised it until it reached your hip, squeezing gently. You appeared calm on the outside but on the inside, your heart was racing.
He pulled back a bit to look you in the eyes, licking his lips as he smirked. “I can feel your heartbeat.”
Your eyes widened in embarrassment as you quickly sat up, covering your cheeks as you felt them heating. You had hoped it wouldn’t have been so obvious. Why couldn’t you just be normal?
“Still so nervous around me after all this time,” He chuckled wryly, lifting a hand to remove the ones covering your face. His fingers caressed your cheek as he gazed at you. “What can I do to make you more comfortable, baby?”
“I’m sorry.” You breathed, feeling your heart skip at all the intense eye contact. “I just need more time.”
“Don’t be sorry. I told you I would wait.” He gave you a small smile, leaning in to give you another kiss. He brushed a hand through your hair before pulling away and making his way back over to the window.
You watched him begin his descent back down to the ground before an idea popped into your head. You don’t know where the sudden confidence came from but the sight of his retreating back made you want to try something.
“Taehyung,” You called out from the window once he had made it all the way down. He looked back up at you curiously, his eyebrows raised in question. “Something to hold you over for now?”
You didn’t wait for him to reply before you lifted your shirt up, exposing your breasts to him from down below. You waited a few nerve wracking seconds before pulling it back down, giggling nervously as you did.
His look of pure shock made it all worth it, preventing any possible embarrassment from flooding into your system. You could tell your stunt had rendered him speechless for a moment, if the choked sputters coming from him were anything to go by.
“I think you just made it worse.” He finally spoke, his voice deep and chilling. You laughed loudly, moving to shut your window closed.
*****
When you arrived at school the next day, the atmosphere was tenser than usual. You were used to people whispering around you but this was different. People seemed to be more huddled in groups. It was as if there was some unseen sinister presence that had arrived. You weren’t sure if you could just blame it on the seasons changing but there definitely seemed to be a chill in the air this morning.
A hand grabbing your arm on your way through the courtyard startled you, your heart jumping only to see it was just Haena. Her eyes were wide as she squeezed your forearm urgently. You could tell just by her expression that whatever was going on was serious.
“Are you okay?”
“Why wouldn’t I be?” Your confusion was obvious as you watched realization dawn on her.
“You haven’t heard...” She paused as if trying to find the right words, biting her lip unsurely. “YN, some students were murdered last night.”
“What? Who?” The shock spread throughout your body like a numbness, your extremities feeling cold all of the sudden.
“Park Jimin and Yoon Iseul.”
You weren’t sure if any names that could possibly come out of her mouth would not come as a shock but this just floored you. Jimin and Iseul were the school’s power couple. Everyone was in love with them or wanted to be their friend. The correlation between their deaths and your brother’s wasn’t lost on you. Could it be a copycat killer? You didn’t want to think of the alternative - that Yoongi had been wrongfully imprisoned.
“That must be why everyone is acting so strange today.” You mumbled mindlessly, hearing the words coming out of your mouth but not feeling connected with them. “I just saw Iseul yesterday in sixth period.”
“It’s all I’ve been hearing about this morning. How Iseul’s parents came home to the grizzliest scene you can imagine. They said Jimin was tied up and they found Iseul out- '' Her chattering stopped upon seeing the sick look on your face, her lips pressing together as if just now realizing who she was speaking to. You didn’t blame her though - you knew she was just in shock. “Well, you get the gist. Apparently a neighbor saw the killer run out of there wearing some kind of weird ghost mask. Now everyone’s calling them ‘Ghostface.’”
“I don’t understand why this keeps happening.”
At some point in the day, you were called to the principal’s office for questioning. This wasn’t strange, though, as everyone in the entire school was going through the same thing. The police figured their first place to look was at the school, which made sense.
They had asked you simple questions like how well you knew Jimin and Iseul, if you knew if they were in any drama at school, etc. You had answered honestly and as accurately as you could. To be honest, you hadn’t the slightest who could have done something like this. But you could sense the detectives figured you might have some clue as you had been around death before. They looked at you like you had some kind of ghost hanging around you.
You decided that going through your day like you always did was the best shot at getting through it, clinging to any shred of normalcy that you could find. And if that meant having lunch with Haena and her usual friend group, then so be it. The seven of you were sitting outside in the courtyard, the climate having warmed up a bit since this morning.
The boys were goofing off with each other as if nothing was wrong, which in a way comforted you. You needed to act like everything was okay or else you could feel your sanity start to slip. Eyeing Haena, she was chatting with Jungkook while throwing her feet in his lap. He was rubbing her lower calves and you couldn’t help but watch how comfortable they were with each other in public like this.
It gave you the courage to lean back onto Taehyung who was sitting behind you, his warm chest a welcome embrace. He responded by wrapping his arms around your front, not missing a beat as he conversed with Hobi about the quiz they took this morning.
“Did they ask you guys if you liked to hunt?” Hobi asked all of the sudden, the idle chatter dying down as you all knew he was talking about the police interrogations all students had to partake in today.
“Yeah, I just told them I liked to fish.” Jin barked out a laugh.
You wondered out loud, “Why would they ask that?”
“Because their bodies were gutted.” Hobi responded matter-of-factly, turning to Jin with a suspicious look. “Kind of like a fish.”
“Thank you, Hobi.” Taehyung spoke sarcastically and you could practically feel his eye roll from behind you.
“They didn’t ask me about hunting,” Haena frowned in confusion.
“You think a girl could have pulled off a murder like that? Yeah, right.” Jungkook chuckled, wiggling his eyebrows at her in a condescending manner.
Haena scoffed in disgust, pulling her legs off his lap. “That is so sexist of you. Plenty of women become serial killers - look at Aileen Wuornos.”
“She used a gun on her male-only victims. Not exactly the same.”
“Yeah, from what I hear Jimin and Iseul were barely recognizable by the time they found them.” Jungkook informed, seemingly undeterred by Haena’s annoyance. “The fact is that it would take a man to do something like that.”
“How do you gut someone?” Your voice trembled as you voiced the question, your curiosity getting the best of you. Taehyung tightened his arms around you and leaned his head on your neck, leaving a kiss there.
It was silent for a moment before Jungkook spoke up, “Well, you’d get a knife and start from the groin-”
“Jungkook, shut the fuck up.” Taehyung’s harsh tone left no room for argument and even made you tense up a bit.
“Didn’t you date Iseul?” You asked Jungkook.
His eyes lit up for a moment as he chuckled, “Yeah, for like two seconds.”
“Before she dumped him for Jimin!” Hobi chimed in. “Hmm, I wonder how the police would feel if they knew you were her lover scorned.”
“What, you think I killed her?” Jungkook laughed genuinely, shaking his head in disbelief. “I’m sure you would love to see me behind bars but I’m afraid I have an alibi.”
Haena rolled her eyes as Jungkook winked at her, fed up with his immaturity. “If you think I’m going to defend your misogynistic ass, you’re sorely mistaken.”
Jungkook watched her with a pout as she stood up to leave, gathering her books for the next class. “Come on, baby! You know I’m not a killer.”
She ignored him as she walked off, which led to him jumping up and following her to no doubt get back in her good graces. Those two had been on-and-off for a while but you would be lying if you said their shenanigans weren’t entertaining. He was a pig-headed jock and she was an artsy type. They didn’t make any sense but somehow they ended up together.
*****
You went home that day to an empty house and a note on the kitchen table, which both surprised you and somehow didn’t. You were used to your father skipping out on you with no notice but to leave a note? That wasn’t like him.
Got a lead for a job out of town so I’ll be gone for a few days. I’ll try to call but might not have service -Dad
You supposed the message was emotionally detached enough to be from him but you couldn’t help the strange feeling you got from reading it. You knew he probably wouldn’t call or if he did, it would be just to let you know he was staying longer. He knew you didn’t expect much from him and probably preferred it that way. Weirdly enough, you did too.
Exhausted from the day, you threw your bag on the floor and collapsed on the couch. You flipped the TV on and surfed through the channels mindlessly before one with a news headline and familiar face caught your eye. It was a reporter that you recognized almost immediately - Kim Namjoon. He had covered your brother’s case extensively and even wrote a book about it.
“ This small but mighty town has been hit yet again with another gruesome homicide case. Two young teenagers were found brutally murdered in their own home. ” He spoke clearly, his dragon-eyes penetrating you through the TV screen. You had seen them in person and knew how deadly their effect could be. “ Authorities have yet to release any statement but we know now that no arrest has been made and the murderer could strike again. ”
“ Could it be merely just a coincidence that this month is the anniversary of yet another senseless killing? It has been only ten months since Min Yoongi was found guilty for the murder of Jung Wooshik, who was also a student at Woodsboro High. ” Namjoon continued, and you held your breath as you waited for him to say what you had been fearing. “ Many have made a few theories on what could be the meaning of this, including that of a possible copycat killer or perhaps a wrongful imprisonment. It’s safe to say the town of Woodsboro needs to stay vigilant on protecting its own. ”
You cut him off there, not wanting to hear any more. Namjoon had made it clear early on that he was doubtful of Yoongi being the killer and spent most of his news coverage with that perspective. You tried not to take it personally but there had been instances where it seemed like the reporter blamed you for what happened. You knew you weren’t directly responsible for Yoongi’s conviction but you couldn’t help but wonder if you should feel guilty. You had only told the truth to the judge, that you had seen Yoongi by your house the day your brother died. That your brother had bought some weed from him and that you had seen him leaving while your brother was still alive. What happened between then and when your brother was killed was completely unknown to you.
But your witness testimony along with the physical evidence found in Yoongi’s home and car had been enough to convict him. You can still vividly remember the expression on Yoongi’s face when the verdict was given, as though he hadn’t even heard the judge. You couldn’t help but be amazed at his absolute indifference to everything going on around him at all times. You had never seen him smile or get angry ever. He kept all his emotions inside and it only fueled to make you more unsure of him.
The sound of the phone ringing loudly next to you made you jump, hand laying on your chest to feel your racing heart. You took a deep breath before you answered, “Hello?”
“YN, I just wanted to check on you and make sure you got home okay.” Of course it was just Haena. You knew she worried about you especially when you were home with your father.
“Yeah, I’m okay. My dad’s left town apparently so I’ve got the place to myself.”
“Oh shit, really?” She sounded stunned by this. “Didn’t he hear the news?”
“Not sure. Although knowing him, he might have just wanted to get away from all the media craziness.”
“Do you want to stay at my place?” As if she could sense your hesitance, she continued in a more serious tone, “I know you probably think I’m being dramatic but I just don’t think you should be alone right now.”
“Okay.” You relented, agreeing that it was probably best to not be isolated and vulnerable with a killer on the loose.
You ran upstairs to pack some clothes for the week, unsure of how long you would be staying there. The thought occurred to you that you should probably let Taehyung know where you would be going just in case he tried to make another surprise sneak-in on you again. You picked up your phone and dialed his number. It rang one time before immediately going to voicemail, causing you to pull the phone back and look at it in confusion. It wasn’t like him to outright reject your call, so you tried again. This time it rang all the way through before going to voicemail.
“Huh, that’s weird.” You waited for the automated voice to end and the beep to sound before leaving him a message informing him of where you would be tonight as well as Haena’s home number in case he needed to reach you later.
When you got to Haena’s house a little while later, you weren’t exactly sure why you felt uneasy all of the sudden seeing the police vehicle in her driveway. Her dad was Sheriff Lee and he had always been like a father to you, more so than your own father anyway. But just seeing his car again after so long and knowing he was in there was dredging up old memories that you had tried to forget.
Haena answered the door with a bright grin and pulled you inside excitedly. You already knew you were in for an eventful next few days, especially with her two younger brothers who were always loud and rambunctious. But oddly enough, you found that you enjoyed being around such a loving and busy household because that had never been your home experience.
You were greeted by warm hugs from Mrs. Lee before she quickly sat you down for dinner with a plate full of food. Haena rolled her eyes at her mom’s antics especially when she realized she was not included in this display of special treatment and would have to make her own plate. At some point, Sheriff Lee rolled in and you could tell by the tired lines on his face that this week had taken a toll on him.
He still greeted you with a smile and a pat on the head before joining you all at the table. Mrs. Lee brought her husband a plate and you couldn’t help but watch as he grabbed her hand to give it a kiss. The two of them had always been a sweet couple and what with your lack of ever seeing that growing up, you were always fascinated by them.
“How’s your father doing, YN?” Haena’s father asked.
“Fine,” You answered, rolling a cherry tomato around on your plate with your fork. “He’s actually on a work trip this week so Haena convinced me to come stay here for a little while if that’s okay.”
“You know you’re always welcome here, honey. You’re practically family.” Mrs Lee was quick to reassure you.
“Work trip, huh?” Sheriff Lee’s eyebrows were drawn together as he held a spoonful of stew in front of him thoughtfully. “Did he mention where?”
“Nope. You know how he is,” You answered honestly and he nodded.
Just then, the phone rang and Mrs. Lee got up to go answer it. You were about to go clean your dish when she came back into the kitchen and said, “YN, someone’s on the phone for you.”
You quickly went over to go pick it up, “Hello?”
“YN,” Taehyung’s deep voice came through on the other line, sounding hushed and slightly out-of-breath. “I just got your message.”
“Oh, yeah well I just didn’t want you to go worrying if you called me and I didn’t answer. Haena’s family is taking care of me.”
“Yeah? That’s good.” He responded, and you could practically picture him posted up somewhere like the cool guy he was. “Although, I wish I had answered when you called because I could have kept you company.”
“I’m sure you would have liked that.” You chuckled. “I don’t think my heart can handle another one of your window sneak-ins.”
“Well, I don’t think my heart can handle being away from you that long.”
“You’ll still see me at school.” You reasoned, rolling your eyes despite him not being able to see you.
“Yeah but that’s school. You won’t even let me kiss you unless it’s somewhere hidden.” You could practically hear his pout through the receiver. “Why don’t you meet me at your place sometime this week? I’ll cook you dinner and we can finally be alone together.”
You couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed at his sudden pushiness to get you alone. You knew if you agreed to meet him at your house that he would probably try to have sex with you again. As much as you wanted to take that step with him, you were scared.
“I don’t know if that’s a good idea, what with the recent murders and all. I think it’s probably best to stay in larger groups.”
“What, you don’t think I can protect you? I know I’m skinny but I’m strong.”
“No I know you can but it’s just not a good time right now.”
“Yeah, I know. You haven’t been yourself in a while.” He huffed into the receiver.
You laughed sarcastically, unsure if he was being serious right now. “Yeah, sorry I’m not in the mood to have sex with you right now. I’m kinda still reeling over the deaths of our classmates.”
“I don’t mean recently. You haven’t been the same since Seowon died.” His words shocked you, not understanding where this was coming from all of the sudden.
“Uh, well that’s kind of what loss does to a person if you didn’t know. They change - drastically.” All humor was gone from your tone as you felt yourself getting annoyed with him.
“Yeah well it’s been a year since he died and you’re still so skittish around me. It’s like you think I’m some kind of bad guy.”
“I’m sorry if my trauma has ruined things for you but no one is making you stay with me. If you need it that badly then you-”
“Stop. That’s not what I meant at all.” He huffed angrily, taking a pause to gather his thoughts. “Listen, I don’t want to make you upset. I know it’s hard to see right now but I’m just feeling insecure. I want to make sure we’re still okay.”
At your silence, he let out another sigh. “I’m gonna let you go now. Please don’t be mad at me. I love you.”
He didn’t say anything after that but he stayed on the line, and you knew he was waiting for you to say it back. Hoping for you to say it back. And as pissed off as he had made you, you hated the idea of going to bed mad at him. So you conceded, for now.
“I love you too.”

When you arrived on campus the next day, you spotted Namjoon standing near his usual news van. He was dressed smartly in an olive sweater and gray slacks, his glasses making him look more like a university student than a reporter. He was busy sorting through some papers, probably brushing up on his notes before he did his next broadcast.
You felt compelled to speak with him, especially after everything that had been going on recently. Over the past year, he had reached out to you multiple times for a comment and you always declined. The only time you had spoken in-person was after the court case had ended and it hadn’t been the most cordial moment.
“YN, this is a surprise. What can I do for you?” Namjoon raised his eyebrows at you, a mix of curiosity and something else you couldn’t quite pick up in his expression.
“I wanted to talk to you about Min Yoongi.”
“Okay.” He spoke slowly, glancing over at his camera crew who were standing a few feet away. “I’m guessing this is off the record?”
“Yes, please.” You paused, trying to think on how to start. “I know you probably don’t think very highly of me.”
“What makes you say that?”
“Well, you wrote a whole book on how my witness testimony was the reason an innocent man was imprisoned.”
“Yes. I still stand by that.” He responded honestly, crossing his arms over his chest.
“So what, you think I’m a liar?”
“You painted a picture that made him look like a killer. I think you were so desperate for all the media coverage and court trials to end that you picked him as a scapegoat.”
“Have you talked to Yoongi?”
“Many times. He admits to selling drugs to your brother but that’s all.” The look on his face told you just how in-depth their conversations had gone. Namjoon was a very detail-oriented man.
“Then how do you explain the blood on his clothes and the murder weapon in his home?”
“His roommate testified that he came home high with no blood on his clothes. Someone else planted all that evidence and framed him.” The way he spoke of Yoongi was almost like they were close; he clearly felt very strongly about clearing his name.
“Why are you so adamant on proving his innocence? Did you know him?”
“Why do you care what I think?” Namjoon’s face screwed up as he seemed to grow more irritated with you. This was the real emotion you expected to get from him, behind the friendly facade he tried to put on with you. “You got what you wanted, didn’t you? Yoongi’s life is ruined, he’ll never see the light of day again.”
“That’s not what I wanted.” Now, it was your turn to look confused. “I wanted justice. I told the judge exactly what I saw that day.”
His lips pursed as he thought for a moment, processing your words. “Yes, I knew Yoongi. We weren’t exactly friends but anyone who knew him knew he was harmless. He wouldn’t hurt a fly.”
“Harmless and yet he sold drugs to teenagers?” You regretted it as soon as it came out your mouth. You knew it was a low blow and you didn’t truly care that he did that anyway but you needed to cling onto some semblance that you made the right call.
He hummed as he searched your face for a moment, “Why are you asking me about Yoongi all of the sudden? You’re not so sure anymore, are you?”
“No, Yoongi murdered my brother.” You weren’t even sure if you believed yourself at how weak your voice sounded.
“These murders are related, aren’t they? The killer’s still on the loose.” He sounded almost triumphant as he marveled at your recent revelation, the cogs in his head working on overdrive. You had just confirmed his biggest theory yet despite your best efforts not to.
Now was a good time to leave. You weren’t sure what you had hoped to get out of this interaction but it wasn’t this. You had been avoiding the truth for a long time but it was catching up to you.
“Goodbye, Namjoon. Always a pleasure.” He didn’t respond as he watched you move to leave, his lips moving as he quietly murmured to himself. Despite his dark calculating eyes following your every move, you knew that he was in a different place conjuring up his next news broadcast.
*****
Halfway through the school day, it became apparent that Principal Choi had not shown up nor called in sick. After multiple attempts to reach his home phone, one of the administrators called the police to do a wellness check. And what they had found upon entering his home had been what everyone was fearing.
The news of Principal Choi’s death spread through the school like wildfire and you could tell the staff struggled to hold themselves together while keeping the students organized. A few police officers arrived at the school to work with the administrators on figuring out how to go about letting the students go home.
You were in the library with Haena and Jungkook when a pair of boys came running through your section and drawing the attention of everyone nearby. One was screaming in an exaggerated manner and the other was wearing the infamous Ghostface mask and chasing the former. You could tell they were just playing a prank but you didn’t see how anyone could be making fun of the situation right now.
“What is wrong with people?”
“Are you kidding me? Look at this place, it’s like Halloween.” Jungkook threw his head back and laughed.
“Stupidity leak!” Haena berated him, whacking him in the head with her notebook.
You shook your head at him, deciding to just ignore his comment. “Have you guys seen Taehyung around?”
“You mean after you gave him blue balls? No, his heart’s broken.”
“Jungkook,” Haena elbowed him hard, causing him to grunt.
“He said that?” You were shocked that even Jungkook knew about your lack of a sex life but should have known that boys would talk just like girls did.
“Of course he did. The guy’s crazy about you.”
“What guy’s crazy about her?” Speak of the devil and he shall appear. Taehyung leaned over you from behind to kiss the top of your head, causing your heart to do a flip.
“Keanu Reeves, of course.” You mouthed a ‘thank you’ to Haena at her swift coverup, causing her to give you a wink.
“Hey, can I talk to you for a second?” Taehyung whispered in your ear and held your hand as he pulled you out of your chair. Haena ignored Jungkook trying to get her attention as she watched you follow your boyfriend to a more secluded area.
“I’m really sorry about what I said before - it was way out of line. I’ve been a little out of sorts lately with everything going on.” He sounded vulnerable as he spoke, and you couldn’t help but feel your heart tug at his remorseful face. He had always been the type to wear his heart on his sleeve. “I just want us to be okay again. I want my girlfriend back.”
“I’m still your girlfriend,” You rolled your eyes playfully, squeezing his hand in yours. “But I’m sorry if I’ve made you feel insecure. I know I’ve been acting different for a while and it wasn’t fair to you. I guess I just haven’t been dealing with my trauma very well.”
“That’s not your fault. You don’t need to feel bad about how you grieve.” He reached up to tuck a lock of hair behind your ear, a soft expression on his face.
“I haven’t been grieving at all - that’s the problem. It’s like my emotions have been shut off.” You sighed, shutting your eyes as his hand moved to caress your cheek. “I can’t keep hiding in my room forever. I need to move on.”
When you opened your eyes again, Taehyung was watching you carefully with his mouth pressed shut. You wished you could read his mind. There was more you wanted to say but you found it hard to find the words, so you decided to let your actions speak by leaning forward and kissing him deeply.
You could tell he hadn’t expected you to make the move by the way he froze but he quickly recovered, pulling you closer with his arms settling around your waist. You pressed yourself to him as he leaned against the bookshelf. This was the most hot and heavy you had ever been in public and you could tell he was enjoying it, not wanting to part from you for even a second.
When you did eventually pull away, you felt brave enough to ask, “Will you meet me at my house later?”
You felt him tense up in shock yet again but couldn’t see his face as you were leaning on his chest. You dared to look up and see him looking at you with wide eyes.
“I thought you wanted to stay at Haena’s.”
“I changed my mind.” You shrugged, feeling giddy as his face lit up. “You’ll protect me from any bad guys, right?”
He pulled you in again, wrapping his arms around you tightly and resting his chin on the crown of your head. You had never felt safer.
“I won’t let anything happen to you.”
Taehyung has always been careful and thoughtful about how he treated you. His touches were gentle and soft; you couldn’t imagine him hurting a fly. Maybe it was just his artsy persona but you had always known him to be a deep, considerate person. He was meticulous about every detail, whether it was his art or his life. Sometimes it seemed like he truly believed life was art; a painting that was ever-changing and inspiring.
You were a masterpiece in his eyes. Something to be cherished and never tarnished. That was why he wanted to keep you safe from the evil in the world. He knew that life had already not been fair to you. But he believed it was his job to prevent any further wrongdoings from coming into your life. He wouldn’t hesitate to destroy anyone who would even try to cause you harm.
It was when you were laid out on your bed looking like an angel, Taehyung felt like he was truly going to Hell. Surely God was coming for him because he had stolen an angel and kept her all to himself. You had given yourself up to him and you didn’t know it yet but he would never let you go. How could he?
The only word to describe it was heaven. Having you in his arms like this, touching parts of you his hands had never dared to before - it was pure bliss. He wanted to stay like this forever. There was nothing out there for either of you. Everything you both needed was right here, in each other’s arms.
He had lost count of how many times he made you come undone before he had even entered you. This wasn’t his first time but it may as well have been with the way he struggled to not fall apart almost immediately. You were his weakness and at the same time you were the only thing keeping him together most of the time. He didn’t care how old you both were - you were it for him.
You had always imagined your first time would be like a dream, full of romantic candles and roses. The reality of it was much different, more natural, and yet you found it to be better than you could have ever imagined. You felt like one of Taehyung’s paintings as his lips and fingertips caressed you everywhere, molding you into one of his perfect creations. You were his muse and you had never felt so beautiful.
It was a night of passion and love; the perfect embodiment of your relationship. Whatever rocky period you had been going through before was long gone and you almost couldn’t believe you had ever wanted to delay this. This was where you needed to be. You knew you probably sounded like a naive teenager, but you didn’t want to think of anyone else in this way ever. You only wanted Taehyung.
“I’ll always love you, YN. I’ll never leave you.”
*****
The next day, you were on your way to your locker when you spied Haena waiting for you. You tried to act indifferent to Haena’s wide eyes looking you up and down as you approached her. It was as if she was trying to find some kind of visible evidence on you.
“So?” You knew she wanted to know what happened last night, but you weren’t ready to spill so soon.
“So... what?” You acted ignorant as you opened up your locker, reaching for your math textbook.
“Oh come on, I’m dying here! Spill.”
“Okay, okay.” Laughter bursted out of you, your resolve crumbling before you could even try to build it up. “We, uh... did it.”
“More details, please.” She rolled her eyes at your vagueness.
“It was really sweet. He made us a nice dinner and then we...” You cringed, not knowing how to talk about it without sounding corny. “I don’t know how to describe it.”
“Well, did it hurt? Did you come?” You nodded to both questions honestly and her eyebrows raised as she became more intrigued. “How many times?”
When she saw you counting on your fingers higher and higher, she blew a low whistle. “God damn. Good for you, girl.”
“I feel like he set the bar pretty high. Is it always like this or is he just really talented?”
“Well, it depends. Jungkook is usually pretty good but sometimes he’s too drunk or lazy and then I end up doing most of the work myself.”
You pursed your lips in thought, “Doesn’t he go down on you before?”
Her eyes widened as she opened her mouth in shock, “Can I borrow him?”
You smacked her on the arm as she laughed, linking arms with you as you both made your way to class.
“Oh, by the way, Jungkook’s having a party at his house later.” She mentioned nonchalantly as she popped her gum in her mouth.
“What about curfew?”
She shrugged, “I don’t think they’re being too strict about it. It’s probably safer that we’re all together anyway.”
You still looked convinced, so she added, “But if you’re really worried, we can just stay over at his place. His parents are out of town.”
“Does your dad know?” You glanced at her curiously.
“God, no,” she laughed, shaking her head. “He’s working a night shift so he’ll be busy patrolling. And I’ll just tell my mom we’re staying at yours.”
“Okay. We can go.”
“Yeah?” She looked surprised, a bright smile painting her face. It was infectious as you found yourself smiling back at her and nodding. She bumped shoulders with you, wiggling her eyebrows as she leaned in, “Hmm, I like the new you. She’s fun.”
You were surprised how easy it was for you to agree to the party. Maybe last night gave you more confidence to just live a little. All you knew was the old you would have opted to stay at Haena’s for another night in and you didn’t want to be stuck in your old ways. You owed it to yourself and everyone you loved to move on.
You had foolishly fallen into a sense of false security, not necessarily forgetting about the horrors your town had been cursed with but just for once not having it in the forefront of your mind. You had felt closer to your boyfriend than ever before and now you were ready to be more adventurous. It wasn’t until later in the day did that bubble of excitement pop.
When the classroom door opened to reveal Sheriff Lee, the students around you immediately began whispering to each other conspiringly. You wondered what it could be this time around as he whispered something to the teacher before turning back to face front with a serious expression. Your teacher’s eyes landed on you as she waved her hand, “YN.”
Everyone around you hushed as you gathered your things with shaking hands, making your way to the front of the room quickly. The air out in the hallway felt different, less suffocating. It somewhat helped your rising anxiety.
One look at Sheriff Lee gave you a new perspective of this man who had practically raised you. He wasn’t that old, only early 50s, but the stress he had put under with his profession had aged him. He had tired bags under his eyes, worry lines on his forehead, and sprouting grays here and there. He had always been handsome and you could tell he would continue to age like wine. But that didn’t change how sad it made you to see him in this state.
“YN, I’m afraid I have some bad news. There was a report of a car that wrecked on the side of the road just outside of town.” He spoke slowly as he relayed the information, the consideration from him not lost on you. You were trying to process it all while still not understanding why he was telling you this. “It was your dad’s car.”
Your heart stopped as you clutched your school bag in your hand. Thoughts were going wild in your head as your breathing became erratic. You didn’t know what any of this meant.
“What, um... is he dead?” Your tongue felt disconnected like your brain was just on autopilot.
“No one has seen him yet.” He sighed, a deep frown etched across his features. “I know you said he was leaving for a work trip but have you spoken to him at all since he left?”
He was aware that your father wasn’t known for contacting you at times like these, but you understood he still had to ask. “No. The last time I saw him was the night before he left.”
He nodded as if he expected that, giving you a small smile. “Well, we’ll keep looking. In the meantime, I want you to stay out of your house in case there are any clues to where he could have gone. And it’s probably safer that you’re not alone right now.”
“Okay.”
It seemed like he wanted to say more but clearly was out of his depth when it came to comforting someone. It wasn’t like he could make any promises about finding your dad because the truth was he was most likely gone. You had dealt with enough loss that you knew this feeling well. You gave him a matching small smile, albeit weak but you hoped it would appear encouraging.
“Thank you, Sheriff Lee.”
*****
School ended early that day, mostly due to the fact that half the staff had called out in fear of receiving the same fate as Principal Choi. It was strange that they even had anyone come in at all but you figured the police had already suspected the killer was at the school, thus being their best bet at finding them. Everyone was on edge as if Ghostface was still lurking in its shadows. Which technically, he probably was.
You had already started to go through in your mind which students in your school could have done it. There were a few stronger girls in your class who could have had the physical power to do it, but they were all too nice or non confrontational. There were plenty of bully-like guys that could fit the description, but you had a hard time truly seeing any of your classmates being involved in such gruesome scenes. It’s just that all the victims had one thing in common: the high school. It only made sense that all suspicion would be pointed here.
Eventually, you gave up trying to figure it out because you were only going in circles in your head. The police would figure it out. Tonight was supposed to be fun and you were sure the killer wouldn’t be brave enough to attack a whole group of teenagers. There was strength in numbers and you felt safer this way.
As you and Haena made your way up the driveway, music could be heard blasting from inside. You weren’t even that late but it seems the party was already in full swing. There were a dozen football players and cheerleaders lounging in the main room when you walked in, most of them unknown to you. Haena greeted a few people in the hallway and you followed her into the kitchen as she searched for some refreshments.
“It’s about time you guys showed up,” Jungkook yelled from where he was standing by the snack table.
“I see you guys couldn’t wait to get started,” Haena eyed where Hobi was pouring beer down a funnel into Jin’s mouth.
“Well no one told you guys to arrive fashionably late,” Hobi replied, high-fiving Jin before switching places with him. Haena rolled her eyes, moving on to talk to Jungkook on the other side of the room.
“Hey, have you guys seen Taehyung?” You asked, leaning against the countertop island.
“He was in here earlier. I think he said something about going outside for a smoke,” Jin informed, not taking his eyes off where he was pouring.
You briefly wondered how you had missed him if you had just come from the outside but shrugged it off. He had to be around here somewhere. You ventured out into the main room and plopped down on the couch. The music had been turned down a bit as they were going back and forth trying to decide what movie to watch. For some reason, the genre they had settled on was horror which was in poor taste in your opinion. At least it was entertaining to hear them argue about who usually survives in a horror movie.
A hand on your shoulder startled you, looking up to see Hobi standing there with the telephone. “Phone for you.”
You held in your confusion as you got up to take the call in a quieter area. “Hello?”
“YN, it’s Namjoon.” Of all people who could be calling you, he was probably the last one you would suspect. “Are you guys okay?”
“Yes, why wouldn’t we be?”
“I’m guessing you haven’t heard yet.” He sighed and your heart thudded in your chest, unable to speak as you willed him to continue. “Sheriff Lee’s dead. They found him strung up on one of the field goals in the football field.”
You almost dropped the phone, a stuttered gasp being the only sound you could make for a moment.
“Oh god,” you finally spoke, your hand coming up to cover your mouth. “I think I’m gonna be sick.”
“Is Haena with you?” He asked quickly, trying to distract you.
“Yes.” Swallowing, you covered your other ear as the voices in the main room started getting louder. How were you supposed to tell everyone? You were surprised you were even still standing.
“Stay with her. If I were you, I wouldn’t leave that house. ”
You were still so in shock from the news about your Haena’s father that it suddenly dawned on you that he had figured out where you were without you ever telling him.
“How did you know I was here?”
“Someone reported a large gathering of students at the Jeon house on the scanner. I had a feeling you would be there.” His answer was a shock to you, not expecting anyone to know about the party as it was out on the edge of town.
“O-okay, I better go warn everyone...”
“YN?” You held in your breath as you waited for him to continue, unease crawling into your system at his pause. “Be careful.”
For him to sound so concerned for you only heightened your paranoia, quickly walking back into the main room where everyone was. Jungkook was sprawled out on the couch now along with Jin and Hobi, throwing his head back at something the latter had said. You shakily placed the phone back on the stand.
“Jungkook, I need to talk to you.” You were surprised your voice was so steady, his big eyes meeting yours as he took in your expression.
“Are you okay? You look like you’ve seen a ghost,” He joked, standing up to meet you behind the couch.
“Kim Namjoon just called me,” You felt your stomach flip as you held the back of the couch for support. “Sheriff Lee was murdered.”
You had tried to be discreet about it but your shock must have garnered enough attention, gasps sounding around the room as they all picked up on what you had revealed.
“Holy shit, I’m getting out of here.”
There was a chorus of responses as people started to make themselves scarce, clearly not in the mood for a party anymore. The only ones that stayed were Hobi and Jin, either not concerned enough about the killer or not brave enough to leave the house. You weren’t sure which group you belonged to but you knew you had to find Haena. You looked up at Jungkook, who was staring at the carpet with a serious expression on his face and biting his lip.
“Where’s Haena?” It was like he almost didn’t hear you until you shook his shoulder. “Jungkook?”
“Um, she went to get more beer-” He blinked a few times, waving his arm behind him. “Garage.”
You walked quickly around the house, trying to find the correct door to the garage. When you finally did, it was pitch black save for some light coming in from the opened garage door. You almost turned back as it was clear there was no one in here before something made you stop. There was no noise, no movement but you felt like something was in here.
Your hand sought out the light, switching it on and blinking as it flicked a few times before brightening up the room. Your gaze flitted around, almost giving up before you saw something dark and red that made you flinch backwards.
There was a piercing scream and you felt the ground beneath you move, your ass hitting the wooden step hard. It wasn’t long before thundering steps came behind you, stopping as they hit your back. Your ears, seemingly filled with water with how muted everything seemed, caught a few more gasps and screams. Hands gripped you under your armpits, pulling you up over the steps and back into the hallway.
After that, everything was a blur of commotion. You were vaguely aware of people yelling around you but it wasn’t until Hobi crouched down, waving his hand in front of your face that you felt alert again.
“I think she’s in shock,” He relayed to the others.
“YN?” Taehyung’s voice sounded from the other end of the hallway, his expression bewildered as he approached quickly. “I heard screaming.”
“Jesus, where have you been Tae?” Jin asked.
“Having a smoke,” Hobi moved out of the way so Taehyung could kneel before you, bringing his hands to your cheeks and analyzing your face closely. “What happened? Are you okay?”
“Haena...”
“Go find Jungkook,” Tae instructed the older two.
Hobi groaned, “Why do we have to keep splitting up? This is what the killer wants!”
Jin smacked him behind his head, angling his head towards your shell shocked figure. “Shut up, would you?”
The two of them walked off, bickering quietly as they went. Taehyung sat with you silently as you stayed in the same position, wiping away any tears that escaped. You stared at the floor as your mind raced with a million thoughts, not a single one sticking long enough for you to linger on.
How could this happen so fast? You had just seen Haena in the kitchen talking to Jungkook. Everything was fine. You couldn’t have been gone from her for more than thirty minutes and yet so much had changed. It didn’t make any sense.
First Sheriff Lee, now Haena. The killer was getting closer. No, the killer was already here. It couldn’t have been Jungkook, Hobi, or Jin. They had all been with you.
But...
“Taehyung?” He looked up at you, surprised to hear your voice finally. He leaned in, reaching a hand out to brush your hair back but you shied away. He reared back in shock, his expression confused as he met your suspicious one.
“What?”
“You were... smoking? For thirty minutes?” Your voice was unsure as you questioned him, sounding stuffed up from all the crying.
“Yes, wh-” The sound of screaming from outside interrupted him. You shot up from your spot, running towards the front door where it came from. “Wait, YN! Don’t!”
You ignored him as you threw open the door; you needed to stop any more evil from happening. You had already lost so much in your life. Enough was enough.
The sight of Hobi’s bloody body laying on the front steps had you freezing in your tracks, feeling Taehyung’s chest collide with your back a moment later. The two of you stared in shock before you became aware of the violent tussle happening further out in the yard. It was hard to make it out but it looked like Jungkook and Jin were fighting. What the hell had happened? You were guessing this was Jungkook’s fight-or-flight response to finding out about Haena.
“Stay right here,” Taehyung spoke softly to you as he brushed past you, walking around Hobi’s battered body and approaching the two other boys with a calmness you didn’t quite understand.
The further he went out, the harder it was to make out who was who especially as they moved between bushes and trees. You felt anxious and stupid as you just stood there, your feet itching to move out and help them but not knowing if it was a smart idea.
“YN,” A voice coughed out from below you, a gasp escaping as you fell to your knees where Hobi was laying. You had been so distracted by the fight that you almost forgot he was there.
“What happened?” You asked urgently, grabbing one of his hands and squeezing.
He choked a bit, blood spraying out onto his lips and neck. “Don’t trust them.” He gave your hand one last squeeze, meeting your eyes as if to make the message stronger. You watched in concern as he closed his eyes, chest rising and falling rapidly. He was still alive but he wasn’t doing well. He needed medical care immediately.
“YN! Get inside now!” Your head flew up to see Taehyung underneath Jin, the two of them fighting over something shiny and sharp-looking between them as what looked like Jungkook was passed out next to them.
Your gaze flew back and forth from them to Hobi’s unconscious face, trying to figure out who to believe. You took a deep breath and ran back inside, locking the door behind you as you ran for the phone. You hit redial, hoping it would direct you to Namjoon. You never thought you could ever cry with relief at hearing his voice.
“YN? Are you okay?”
“Namjoon, tell the police the boys must have snapped or something, I don’t know. But Haena’s dead and we need help.” The words flew out of you so fast you weren’t even sure what all you said, hoping you got the message across as you huffed.
The line went silent at that, and you held your breath as you waited for a response. But there was nothing - just dead air.
“Hello? Namjoon?” You tried again, pulling the phone away before you realized the line was dead. Someone had cut the lines. “Shit.”
Just then, a sudden banging could be heard from the front door followed by desperate shouts of your name. You ran over to it, ready to unlock the door when you hesitated with your hand on the lock.
“Who’s there?”
“YN, let me in! Hurry!” The urgency in Jin’s voice made you throw open the door, gasping when you saw him covered in blood with a knife in his hand.
“Jin, what-”
“Don’t let him in, YN! He attacked me!” Jungkook suddenly appeared behind him, a deep cut on his cheek that hadn’t been there before.
You looked between Jungkook and Jin, trying to decipher who to believe but not finding any conclusive evidence. To be honest, when you saw them out in the yard before, it was hard to tell who had even started the fight. And now seeing them both with blood on them, you felt at a loss. All you knew was people were dying and someone had cut the phone lines. You didn’t know who you could trust.
“Fuck, I can’t.” You slammed the door as quickly as you could, locking it again. The banging and shouting continued.
“Help me! He’s gone crazy!”
You stood there for a few moments, palms still on the door as you willed your racing heart to calm down. Tonight had been nonstop crazy and you couldn’t remember the last time it was at a resting rate. Before you could turn around, a pair of hands landed on your shoulders and ruined any chance of your heartbeat slowing down any time soon. You shrieked as you turned around, not expecting to see Taehyung standing behind you.
“Shh, it’s just me.”  He shushed you, putting his hands on your shoulders to calm you down.
“Wh- how did you get in here?” You hadn’t seen him outside just now.
“I came in through the back. Are you okay?” He checked over your body, fingers brushing over the visible skin on your face and arms.
“I’m fine but Tae, where have you been all night?” Your exasperated tone caught him off guard, a somber look coating his features as he regarded you. “I’m getting really freaked out.”
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to run off like that. I’ve just been trying to protect you.” His words didn’t make any sense but you weren’t thinking clearly enough to dissect what he meant.
The banging grew louder and Taehyung moved to open it. The roles were reversed this time as you shook your head at him, silently urging him not to let anyone in. Your fingers gripped the sleeve of his sweater anxiously. He turned to look at you, his hand coming up to cover yours on his arm.
“It’s okay. You can trust me.” He nodded at you with a small smile, and you released the breath you didn’t know you were holding.
The door swung open to reveal Jungkook standing there looking out of breath, but his face lit up when he saw you standing there with Taehyung. A grin broke out across his face, “The gang’s all here!”
You could only watch in confusion as Jungkook stepped in in the same move that Taehyung backed you up with him. Jungkook shut the door behind him looking gleeful as ever. You looked at Taehyung who had a serious look on his face but you recognized a glint of something in his eye, almost like he had just won a bet or something.
“What’s going on?” You asked, stepping back cautiously from them. The energy had changed drastically and you didn’t like it one bit.
Taehyung eyed you like you were a scared animal, holding his hands out as if to placate you. His gaze was locked on yours and you almost felt like he could read your thoughts, anticipating your next move before you could even do it.
“Surprise, YN.” Jungkook smirked at you, looking far too elated right now to have just lost his girlfriend.
Your eyes flitted back and forth between the two of them before you spun around, racing toward the kitchen to find something you could defend yourself with. Although you had no proof, you knew it was them. Taehyung and Jungkook were the killers. You didn’t have time to feel heartbroken and betrayed. Your only thought right now was survival.
Before you could get far, arms wrapped around your waist and yanked you back towards a firm chest. You eyed the knife block longingly - so close. Taehyung held you tightly to his front, turning the two of you around so you were backed up against the counter. Jungkook leered from across the room looking like a dangerous predator.
“Why are you doing this?” You cried, hot tears streaming down your face.
“I already told you. I’m protecting you.” Taehyung explained as if it was the most obvious thing.
“By killing all my family and friends? You’re fucking crazy!” Your voice grew louder, unable to feel shy about getting angry despite being caught in a murderer’s arms.
Taehyung was a murder. Your soft, loving, artsy boyfriend was a cold-blooded killer. This was a nightmare; this couldn’t be real.
“Yes, I am crazy, but only for you. I would do anything for you, YN.”
“You’ll never get away with this.”
Jungkook chuckled, “Tell that to Min Yoongi. You wouldn’t believe how easy he was to frame.”
“What did you have against my brother?” There was a lot to unpack here but this was the question you had been wondering for a whole year.
“Your brother wasn’t the picture perfect star quarterback everyone believed him to be. He had a bad habit of date raping girls from other schools, including my cousin.” Taehyung answered for you, the lack of eye contact with him making him hard to read if what he was saying was true.
“You’re lying,” You hissed, trying desperately to break out of his arms.
“Why are you defending him? He was never nice to you.” Jungkook reminded you, his eyes calculating and cold. “Face it, YN. Your brother was a bad apple who got what was coming to him.”
“What do you have to gain from this?”
“Well, naturally, I wanted his spot on the team.” He grinned at you, flashing a perfect set of teeth. “It wasn’t hard for Taehyung to convince me once I realized what a piece of shit he was.”
“And Haena?” You glared at Jungkook. “How could you kill your own girlfriend?”
“I can’t take credit for that,” He nodded towards Taehyung behind you and you felt your body go still. “You saw me. I was here the whole night.”
“Wrong place, wrong time.” Taehyung added, leaning his head on the space between your shoulder and your neck. “But I won’t lie. I hated sharing her with you all the time.”
“You’re okay with him murdering your girlfriend?”
“I liked Haena but she didn’t get me. She didn’t get you either.” Jungkook approached the two of you slowly, dark gaze zeroed in on your anguished expression. He reached out to caress your face, causing you to tense up as Taehyung straightened behind you. “You’re too good for her.”
“Jungkook.” Taehyung’s voice was rough as he motioned with his head towards another part of the kitchen. The two shared some sort of unspoken communication as something dawned on the other boy.
“Oh yeah! We got a surprise for you, YN.” Jungkook’s voice grew louder and more excited as he walked towards the hallway closet door. “You’re gonna love this. It’s a scream, baby.”
It didn’t take him long to retrieve what he was looking for, your eyes almost bulging out of your head as you saw who it was. “Dad!” He was tied up with tape around his mouth and a nasty cut on his forehead.
“See, YN? We got it all figured out, don’t worry.” Jungkook began, pulling the knife from his pants and stuffing it in your dad’s belt. “The cops are already onto him and now the evidence is all over him. Just one more thing to do.”
Leaving you no time to react, Jungkook pulled a gun from behind his pants and aimed it right at your father’s head, shooting him dead. You couldn’t help the scream that tore out of your lungs. You felt cold all over, like your body had disconnected from your brain. Vaguely, you registered Taehyung’s arms holding you steady as your knees buckled.
“He deserved it, YN.” Taehyung spoke so plainly about the murder of your father like it was just a harmless prank he had pulled, “He didn’t appreciate what he had. Deep down, we all know he blamed you for being the one that survived. He never loved you the way a father should.”
The harsh reality of his words hurt. It was like he was looking into your soul, into your deepest darkest feelings that you had tried to keep down for so long.
“We did you a favor.” Jungkook added, his dark stare penetrating you where you stood behind the kitchen island. “And he makes the perfect suspect, triggered by your brothers’ death anniversary, then goes on a killing spree and finally kills himself with the sheriff’s gun. It’s like it was meant to be.”
These two were insane, no doubt about it. They had seen too many scary movies and now they felt like they were invincible. You could practically feel the adrenaline running through Taehyung’s veins.
“And now what? I’m next?”
“Of course not,” Taehyung laughed, switching you around so that he cornered you into the kitchen counter. He leaned in and pressed a kiss to your forehead, ignoring your deep cringe. “This has all been for you, baby.”
“Now, we finish what we started.”
Faster than you could blink, Taehyung swung at Jungkook, causing him to keel over. Red started pooling through the side of his shirt as he coughed into his hand, staining it with blood. You couldn’t believe your eyes.
“Tae, what the fuck?” Jungkook grunted, holding his side as he looked up at Taehyung in shock.
“I changed my mind. I don’t need a sidekick anymore.” Taehyung sneered, a venomous look on his face. “Thanks for all the help, buddy.”
Jungkook fell to the kitchen floor and Taehyung moved on top of him, stabbing him a few more times for good measure. In his bloodlust frenzy, he failed to notice that he had turned his back on you. Not only that, but the gun in Jungkook’s hand was now within reach of you.
You wasted no time in falling to your knees to grab it, quickly standing up and aiming it at the back of his head. Taehyung froze, still not facing you but somehow already figuring out his mistake. It was a foolish move on his part but he wasn’t exactly thinking clearly.
“Don’t move.” You spoke clearly, trying to keep your hand steady.
He didn’t listen to you though, moving slowly and carefully as he got off of Jungkook. He turned around with his hands raised, eyes wide as he stared at you. “YN, don’t do anything you’ll regret.”
“I said don’t move!” You yelled, your fingers trembling. You had never even held a gun before and now here you were aiming it at the love of your life.
“I know you don’t understand right now but you have to know: I did it all for you. So that we could be closer. I never meant to hurt you.” The sight of him inching further set you off, giving you the motivation you needed to pull the trigger.
“Goodbye, Taehyung.” You closed your eyes, not wanting to see the image of the light draining from his eyes.
It was over.
*****
Months later, you were relieved to find that life had seemed to calm down after that horrible night full of evil and bloodshed. You had suffered and lost so many people you loved. Much like a year before, only this time you felt somewhat hopeful for the future. Death couldn’t follow you around anymore like a bad curse; the evil was dead and gone from your life. It was the only thing keeping you going.
That and having a positive influence in your life, like for example Namjoon. He was the first to find you there at the Jeon house after getting your phone call but never receiving your message due to the phones being tampered with. You were lying on the kitchen floor, covered in blood and still in shock over everything. He had been so helpful, urging you to call 911 on his cell phone while he checked to see if Hobi and Jin were still somehow alive - which by some miracle, they were. They had sustained serious injuries and were lucky to be alive, each spending quite some time in the hospital and then physical therapy after that. You visited them almost every day.
It had been hard, dealing with the survivor’s guilt. Losing your entire family, best friend, and boyfriend (even though he had been the cause of it all) had done some serious damage to your mental health. And despite all the therapy you had been receiving and would continue to receive, you knew it would never completely be healed. But that was okay. In your mind, you deserved some kind of scar from the whole ordeal since you hadn’t suffered any physical injuries. Several of your friends were dead or badly hurt - you could deal with it if not for yourself, then for them.
The best part about it was being able to exonerate Yoongi. To finally be able to see some emotion from him on the day the judge ruled him not guilty had been life changing. Yoongi had always been such a calm guy and never blamed you for the year of his life wasted behind bars. You wanted desperately to make it up for him but didn’t know how you possibly could. Namjoon assured you that you had done enough but the guilt never seemed to go away.
Namjoon and you had started to develop more of a friendly relationship, something you had never expected to come out of this. But after all the conflict was gone, it was much easier to see each other’s point of view. And the truth was, he had always been right.
“Got any plans this weekend?” Namjoon asked as he poured some sugar into his coffee before taking a sip.
“Not sure,” you began, taking a breath as you thought it over. “I got invited to an end-of-year party but I’m not sure if I should go. Feels too soon.”
“Oh, you should definitely go. It’s not as soon as you think.” He responded encouragingly, sounding like a big brother.
“I just don’t see what there’s to celebrate about.” You shrugged, meeting his gaze.
“There’s plenty to celebrate! How about surviving a tragic murder spree, exonerating an innocent man, finishing up a school year?” You didn’t look convinced, so he tried again, “Come on, I think it would be good for you to get out. You shouldn’t stay in that big house by yourself all the time.”
“You sound like my therapist.” You rolled your eyes at him, stirring the tea in your cup mindlessly.
“Well, you sound like a petulant child.” He chuckled.
You opened your mouth to retort, eyes flying up to look at him when something in the distance caught your eye. Your body felt cold, frozen up as you stared at the familiar figure. Dark black mop of hair covered his face, baggy sweater and jeans on his frame. You blinked a few times but he didn’t move at all. It didn’t make any sense.
“YN? What is it?” Namjoon waved a hand in your face, distracting you from whatever it was you just saw.
“Huh?” You asked, blinking at Namjoon before glancing back at where he stood before. Only now, there was nobody in sight. You cleared your throat as your gaze fell back on the man before you, “Uh, nothing.”
“You looked like you saw a ghost.” He laughed, eyebrows furrowing at you in a concerned manner.
“Yeah, right.” You shook your head. There was no such thing.
I’ll always love you, YN. I’ll never leave you.

The Boy | Jungkook ff PT2
Tumblr media
Pairing: Bhrams Yandere Jungkook x babysitter Y/n
Summary: they paid you a huge amount of money just to babysit their son who turned out to be a doll named kookie not knowing the real kookie is actually all grown up and living behind the walls where he always watches you.
First part
The sounds of foot stepping becomes normal for you. Ever since that night when you tried to leave this house the noises coming from the wall continues. It's terrifying yes but you just couldn't do anything but just to bare with it.
Your eyes fell on the wall clock and find out that it's already 8 o'clock and it's time to put kookie to bed.
You walk towards the doll that is sitting on the sofa and pick it up. You then turn around and unplug the tv before making your way upstairs.
As you entered his room you slowly put him down in his bed, you walk away from him and stood up Infront of the closet trying to find his night wear clothe.
Once you found it you came towards him again before undressing him and dress him up with his night wear suit. A small smile appeared in your lips while you're laying the doll down on his bed and cover him with the blanket. Leaving a kiss on his forehead and said farewell to him.
You slowly close your eyes after closing the bedroom door behind you. A sigh left your mouth, you're so exhausted, all though taking care of a doll is just easy job, maintaining the huge house looking like a castle clean is a lot of work.
You can't do it on your own. They surly need to get another maid but that's exactly what they don't want. They only want you here alone in this house while taking care of a doll that they called "their son".
It's so weird but what can you say. The money they're paying you is no joke and because of that you just had to bare with it.
As you took a step forward you heard the step coming from the wall as well. You tried to ignore it and went to your room but before you could even open the door and step forward you heard a running footsteps coming from the wall as if it's making it's way towards you. But when you look around you found no one and the steps fades away.
You're under the shower. You just let your body under the water while you're laying on the tub. It's such a long day and you surly need a calm and peaceful bath to finally call it a day.
While you're chillin. Someone slowly open the door avoid to make a sound. He walks in and saw your used clothes on the laundry basket. He smile under his thick glass mask and grab your und'rwear along with the dress that you just used. Sniffing on it while closing his eyes he couldn't help but to giggle silently.
His mind isn't completely matured. He couldn't even remember how his child's mind suddenly become perverted. Well there's only one answer. It's you. Definitely you.
While he's busy sniffing your undergarment and hugging your dress his eyes caught something shining on the sink and noticed that it's your neckless.
He knew how important it is for you cause he can sometimes see you kissing it. He quickly grabbed it and put it in his pocket. While he's about to leave he accidentally hit the cup where your toothbrush is placed on. You quickly open the curtain and saw your thing on the ground.
Getting up from the tub you came and pick it up before placing it again on the sink. You look around the bathroom and find no one but the bathroom door is open. While the droplets of the water is dripping from your b'day you walk out of the bathroom nked and look around your room but found no one so you just came back inside and closed the door.
Jungkook on the other side keep his eyes on you. Watching you all nked while he's hiding inside the closet that is Infront of the bathroom. He's sweating alot. All he could think about is doing nasty things on you.
You came out of the bathroom and started looking around the room trying to search for your neckless but it's no where to be found.
You're getting frustrated while letting out a annoyed groan. Jungkook just continue watching you and lick his lips seeing you only with white long sleeve and when you bed down you literally gave him the perfect view of your a's.
Just then a loud bang was heard down stairs. You get startled and look around before making your way down stairs. Without hesitation Jungkook also made his down using his shortcut that is behind the walls.
When Jungkook arrived there he saw a man and he's talking to you. Confused. He saw how you're trying to push the guy out of the house but since he's bigger than you it's no used. He can see how unstable you are through the small gap in the wall.
You sat on the ground after the man walk upstairs. Pulling your hair out of frustration. You saw your ex boyfriend namjoon coming back with Kookie in his hand.
"Wow what is this? Is this the guy you're babysitting? It's a freaking doll Yn!!" He just then start laughing while you tried taking kookie from him.
While taking the doll away from him you accidentally poke his eyes making him groan in pain. The second later he look at you with his burning eyes and grabbed the doll from your hand then thrown it on the ground. The head of the doll explode as it's made of a white glass just like the plates.
"No!!!! N-no no no no no what have you done namjoon!!" You look at him in shocked while he just laughed. Walking towards the broken kookie you couldn't help but to think about what will happen to you next just then a painful grip from your hair made you scream in pain.
Namjoon started pulling you by your hair when the wall suddenly open. A loud bang made you and namjoon look at the broken wall. Just then you both saw a hand coming out of the wall till a huge guy wearing a dirty jumper with a mask same as the doll came out.
Without hesitation he quickly run to namjoon and chock him while pinning him on the wall. He also grabbed the vase beside him and hit him with it. The other guy fell on the ground with bleeding head.
But he didn't stop there. Jungkook also grabbed a kn'fe and st'b the man laying on the ground several times before he turn his head towards you.
You started shaking your head left and right in fear. You then slowly stood up and run away from him. You can hear the loud bang of his shoes while running after you.
"Yn don't leave me. I'll me good. I will. Please don't leave kookie." You cover your mouth while hearing him taking with his child voice. Just as you're about to run away you saw him standing Infront of you while holding a kn'fe in his other hand.
You gulp hard. You don't know what to do. He was just staring at you while standing so close to you.
"Kookie!! Drop that. It's time for bed come on!!" You don't know where did you get that courage but that's all you could think about right now.
Surprisingly he did dropped the kn'fe and followed you while making your way to his bedroom.
You order him to lay down and he did. As you're about to leave he suddenly grabbed your hand making you look at him.
"Kiss."
"No kookie you've been a very bad today."
You turned around wanting to leave but you heard him whipping like a kid while holding your hand. You turned around again and saw him sitting on the bed while holding you tight.
"Kiss."
You just gave up and actually kiss him. The coldness of his mask made your lips numb. Before you could even pulled away Jungkook eventually pulled you closer and made you sit on his lap.
You widened your eyes trying to free yourself but he's strong enough to lay you on his bed and hovered you. He tear your clothes open while you're trying so hard to get away from him.
He just let you struggle but never let you go. He quickly went down and pulled you undergarment away. You're covering your exposed cl't with your hand but he quickly push it away and lift his mask a little only enough to stick his tongue out and eat you out.
When you felt his warm tongue licking you off you suddenly forgot what you're actually trying do. You let out a small moan while putting your head back and rolled your eyes.
Jungkook smiled. He loves the taste of you. It's just only free c'm but he's already obsessed with it. He couldn't believe that you taste even better than he could imagine.
He wasn't even able to make you come but he quickly stopped and look at you. You then slowly open your eyes and saw him. He stood up and str'p himself Infront of you then hovered to you again. Jungkook placed the tip of his leaking c'ck against your entrance before pushing in slowly, you gasped at the intrusion, feeling him fill you up as he got deeper and deeper until you sat nicely on his lap. Jungkook pecks your lips as you adjusted yourself, you could see the look in Jungkook's eyes the look of him holding himself back.
Kookie let out a small whimper with eyes screwed shut trying to process the pleasure of you just sitting on his cock. It made you smile what you could do to him, how you could affect this man, leaning down you pressed your soft lips against his with him instantly returning it. One hand still on your hips the other carded through your hair as tongues tangled together in sloppy kisses.
A gasp left Brahms lips as he felt you raise your hips only to slam back down onto him A breathless "Mommy" leaving his lips before you pressed yours and his together again.
Starting slow you eventually started to gain momentum bouncing up and down on his throbbing c'ck. Pulling away from the kissing to sit up you moaned as your body jerked up and down t'ts bouncing with every thrust. Brahms breathed heavily as his hand moved to your bouncing breasts to massage them, every now and then moving his thumb across your erect n'pples.
"Fck Mommy, you feel so tight!" He moaned thrusting up against your bouncing to get even deeper
The sound of sk'n slapping against skin echoed with both of your labored breathes, you could feel the tip of Jungkook's c'ck hitting in all the right spots as the knot inside your gut started to tighten threatening to snap at any second.
he wrapped his arms around your waist and started thr'sting upwards at blinding speed, hitting the perfect spot every time.
"Fu-ahh Make mommy cum on your c'ck!" You moaned into his ear as the knot got tighter and tighter until You let out a strangled m'an as your walls clenched around him milking his c'ck for all its worth, kookie thrusted up once more before keeping his c'ck buried inside of you. The feeling of you clenching around him just enough to send him over the edge once more, filling you up with streaks of c'm.
Finally you both relaxed on top of each other, you laying on his chest with his c'ck inside you and arms still wrapped around you in a lighter embrace.
You totally lost your mind. You don't even know who's this guy and correction he just k'lled your ex and his body is still down stairs while you're here getting fck up.

pinkrecs’s bts yandere fic recs
Tumblr media
[POSTED ON JULY 12th 2022]
note: this is most (honestly just checkout all of these authors’ masterlists--there’s more great gems) of my favorite yandere bts recs! please show much love to our wonderful authors. the yandere genre does contain triggering themes (ex: representation of toxic relationships, possessive/obsessive behavior, non-con/dub-con, violent behavior, etc). read at your own risk + check out the author’s notes. ENJOYYY ^^
i would love to give each fic a detailed comment on how i love it but i lack the words and writing capabilities to do that. so hope a short spoiler-free comment will do (sorry). GO GIVE THESE FICS A LIKE, REBLOG, OR COMMENT!!!!
POLY/MULTI:
- death valley by @bangtangalicious
↳ gang + rocker + fightclub au + ot7 x reader. my brain is dizzy & fucked (in a good way) after reading this. each member gets their own time to shine and the characterizations of each member are crazy. this fic is a messy ass rollercoaster and the smut is scrumptious too!!
- gumiho cisswap bangtan x reader by @bloodsweattearscatharsis
↳ gumiho + cisswap au + poly ot7 x reader. its obvious from the title since the author mentioned that they haven’t made a title for the fic lol. honestly, go give this a read because the dynamic of ot7 is quite fun and i LOOVEE the suspense that from each chapter. all of them could run me over anytime and also HOT WOMEENNNNN ayyyyyyyyy go read bc it needs more luv
- house of serpents by @smasmashie
↳ mafia au + ot7 x reader. every character in here needs to go therapy but also not because i need to see more drama unfold. ot7 seems to care for the mc but their actions shown are... uhmm... questionable. but that makes this fic good though! reading each chapter like it’s the morning newspaper
- in your dreams by @voidswan
↳ idolverse au + vmin x reader. GOD THIS WAS INTENSE, i was shaking, gasping, and throwing uppp!! vmins are menaces in this one but god you can’t help but want more D: i’m like the mc--who’s a moth attracted to the flame.
- lilies of the valley by @girlmeetsliv3
↳ a/b/o au + poly ot7 x reader. each relationships between the members and towards reader is mysterious and there was underlying tension of meeting the pack’s expectation. in some way, it gets uncomfy at some parts yet that is what keeps each chapter an enjoyable read.
- lovesick by @angelicyoongie
↳ soulmate au + ot7 x reader. mc is very unlucky gal... not only having one BUT SEVEN yandere as soulmates lmaoo.. and the soulmark inflicts on both people if one of them gets hurt. that’s rough damn! i’m still unsure if all of them know that all of them are sending her letters. keep notifications ON for this fic
- nephilim by @royallyjoon
↳ cult + supernatural au + poly ot7 x reader. it was defintlely chilling while i read this. while there’s some sense of normalcy, the larger control of the cult makes keeps us feeling uneasy.
- on the first day of christmas, my true love gave to me by @forever-once-gone
↳ ceo + christmas au + poly namkook x reader. namkook is crazy and unhinged when they show their true colors. jungkook is very VERY sweet tho i cant hate him rip
- strangers by @bestaez
↳ strangers from hell au + ot7 x reader. i haven’t read watched the kdrama so i can’t compare between the two. this is definitely interesting as we can see SOME insight to how ot7 plans it and covers up their tracks to avoid getting caught. i hope the mc can get the tf out that apartment and we can see the reasoning for these actions of ot7 in future chapters
- school f*cking sucks! series by @sluttyandere
↳ high school au + maknae line x reader. all characters are of legal age btw! sucks to be mc because she just getting snatched from each guy like that. and she’s the class president but kinda powerless since two of them control her status at the school. all three of them are massively wicked and im kinda digging it LMAO
- thou shall not steal by @xherxx
↳ mafia + spy + enemies to lovers au + poly ot7 x reader. as the author mentioned, this fic is on the lighter side of the yandere spectrum. i love the mc in this fic. a girlboss icon actually. adored every interactions between the mc and each member. it’s a VERY pleasant read lol
- where three stars meet by @girlmeetsliv3
↳ poly sope x reader. this felt like a movie to this. i could picture everything in my head and sope was quite mysterious in this. and the little details placed throughout the story makes it enticing to continue reading.
- “why you look so pretty when you cry?” by @minniepetals
↳ mafia au + poly ot7 x reader. the way ot7 brings hopes up for the mc before crushing them down so she breaks and realizes that her only option is them is tragic for the mc... yet it’s a whole serve!
MISC (aka idk where to categorize these lol):
- never ever after by killingpeach (AO3)
↳ fairy tale au + ot7 x oc. each member is based on a character of well known fairy tales. for the mc to leave the story, she must make the member of that fairy to fall in love with her for “the end” to happen. i love the author’s versions of these fairy tales. each time the fairy tale ends, ik the oc is like: “i won... but at what cost??”
- seven princes of campus series by @bibbykins
↳ college au + ot7 x reader. this series includes various fics with each member and their s/o and is more on the softer side of yandere! each couple is cute and the build up of how each became to be to great!
- tatemae; 建前 series by @99liners
↳ trophy wife au + ot7 x reader. this series includes various fics with each member and their s/o. the gaslighting and manipulation is wild in these fics y’all. and each time, the ending of the fic makes think like: damn... these men not seeing the pearly white gates of heaven
- the tarot series by @flowesona
↳ ot7 x reader. this series includes various fics with each member and their s/o and “each inspired by one of the major arcana tarot cards.” i love this concept and each plot is easily able to get into.

Our Little Love part five - OT7 Mafia/Yandere au
Tumblr media
Trigger warnings:  toxic yandere men, sub drop, guns, crime, violence, borderline abusive behaviour, possessive behaviour, unhealthy relationships, manipulation, a bad and failed attempt at aftercare, and I don't know if this counts as a warning but MC is naked through the whole thing
A/N: It's been a long time guys, I apologise <3
“I would love to kill him but you know it’ll upset little love, and I can’t stand the idea of her crying over another man.”
You start to rouse into consciousness, feeling multiple hands on your skin, stroking softly, a number of bodies sitting by your side as you sleep, their words starting to come into focus.
“We could make it look like an accident?” Another voice mumbled.
“She’d know.”
“Could you imagine her not speaking to us because we stomped on an ant?” Seokjin shakes his head in disbelief, a thumb rubbing the crease between your brows soothingly as you frown. “Part of me wants to do it out of spite.”
Your eyes open then, seven figures coming into view, all looking down on you with intense obsession that for a second it makes something on your skin crawl before you remember who they are in a daze. You inhale deeply, starting to stretch as you yawn, the sight has them cooing with adoration, their perfect little love. The ache begins to settle, the evidence of their ownership felt in your bones.
Your body is pliable as Jin pulls you up with ease, resting your head on his shoulders as he adjusts you to straddle him, stroking your back soothingly as you come back to consciousness. You don’t know how long you slept for, either not enough or too much with how heavy you felt. They did a number on you, that much you knew, you had never felt this gone after a session or punishment, but you put that on the emotional toil it had on you rather than the physical aspect of it.
You feel hands secure yours to Jin’s neck before he stands, taking you somewhere but you’re too tired to question anything, barely able to open your eyes. Your face is warm in his neck, the rest of your still naked body exposed to the cold air, you inhale him, his scent making you feel safe even as you shiver against him. You only realise their intentions when you’re lowered into hot water, Yoongi having checked three times it wasn’t scalding before letting Jin put you in the tub. There’s a hand on the back of your head, like a cushion as you lie back, as if there was a risk you could drown in your current state.
“Maybe we should’ve let her sleep some more first,” you can hear someone mumble, it sounded like Kookie.
Slowly the warmth of the water eases your muscles, your head still aches at the front but you feel yourself returning, becoming more coherent and aware. Your eyes open, the brightness of the light making the men appear like dark shadows until your vision adjusted. They were all still staring, a mixture of different emotions in their gaze that put you on edge. This was supposed to be your recovery, you had regained enough thought process to realise that, so then why did they look like they wanted you back on that bed tied to it.
You frown, the words from your dream coming back to you in their voices, slowly reconstructing as you realise it wasn’t a dream at all. The looks on their faces were murderous, you could see the remnants of rage still bubbling away under the surface. The setting was supposed to relax you, but the promise of blood put you on edge. Your heart thumped in your chest faster in warning, the ache in your limbs subsiding enough for you to run if you needed to. Your body recognised the signs of the oncoming danger, but it didn’t realise it wasn’t for you, it was for another. You swallow down the lump lodged in your throat, trying to find your voice enough to subdue their anger.
“What’s going to happen to him?” You dare to ask.
Jimin scoffs, his fists scrunching beside him, the first thing you ask about is another man, the first thing on your mind isn’t them but another man, didn’t you realise that was the wrong button to press? How could you even think of another after they monopolised you? He looks over to Taehyung, his face set in stone but Jimin could see through it.
Their silence makes your anxiety spike, wanting to fill the empty space with something even if it was your own voice.
“I know you’re angry but don’t do that to me,” you whisper, tears involuntarily slipping from your eyes. “I don’t care about him the way you think I do, but if you hurt him you put the guilt on my shoulders, and I can’t bear the weight.”
Your lower lip trembles, your chin wobbling and you look at them with innocent pleading eyes.
“Don’t do that to me,” you breathe, begging them.
There’s a flash of irritation on some of their faces, a despondency in others.
“Please,” you whimper, fearing their decision had been made and you were fighting a battle already lost. You wouldn’t be able to handle it, you wouldn’t be able to look past it, everything they had done had somehow not crossed an invisible line of no return, but this, this would shove you over the edge.
“You’re too good, little love,” Namjoon says, taking a seat on the rim of the tub, looking down at you, his presence forcing you to look up and meet his gaze. Your knees are to your chest in the water, arms wrapped around your legs like you were hiding yourself from them again and he hated it. “Crying over another man.”
The insinuation is crystal clear, even in his calm delivery of his words, you could see a storm ready to crash down on you.
“I’m crying over you,” you admit, imploring him. “Over us.”
“Is that a threat, love?” Hoseok’s voice can’t hide the venom.
“No,” you can barely breathe, something seized your chest as the darkness in their gazes grew. Strums of panic start beating into your limbs, you couldn’t talk them down, you were useless but you will the words out. “For me, Hobi, for me, don’t do this.”
“You’re acting like we haven’t killed anyone before,” Yoongi states, scoffing at how ridiculous this was.
“Not over me.”
He laughs and your blood turns cold, amusement written all over his face as it mocks you.
What difference does it make, his expression says but you can hear it all clearly, if we kill for you or at all?
You turn back to Namjoon in panic, praying that they hadn’t, they didn’t, because it did make a difference. As stupid and naive as it sounded, it made a whole world of difference.
“Joon,” you whimpered, wanting him to reassure you Yoongi was just messing with you, just being mean because you hurt him.
“We won’t lie to you little love,” Namjoon states with a sadistic smirk.
You shake your head, eyes closed, refusing to believe it. It was a test, that was it, they were testing your loyalty, your love.
“Get out,” you didn’t care if you failed.
Fingers under your chin force your head up, your eyes meeting Namjoon’s cold hard stare, but that smirk was still playing on his lips.
“Do you regret coming back?” he asks.
You bite back bile, piercing him with as much anger as you can muster on your face.
“I regret not doing my job,” you say through gritted teeth, wanting to hurt them back just as much, petty rage fuelling your words.
To your surprise he chuckles under his breath, an abnormal admiration in his gaze at your fire. Another hand overtakes his, turning you to face Hoseok’s glare, his nostrils flaring.
“Tell me again you don’t care about him,” he dares you as if every word you had uttered was a lie just to save Suho, like all your feelings for them had been a lie. You tried to pry his fingers away, but they gripped your chin with such force, his fingers would make dents in your skin. You push against him but he doesn’t budge.
“Sounds like you care too much,” Seokjin pipes in, “Enough to regret what you have with us.”
“You’re threatening to put blood on my hands!” You yell back, pissed now that they didn’t see this from your perspective, that they didn’t care what it would do to you. Despite wanting to hold strong against them, you can feel more tears prick the corner of your eyes. “You say you don’t want to hurt me but you all do it again and again.”
“Careful love,” Yoongi warns, not liking your accusation at all even though he knew there was some truth in it.
“Or what?” you scoff shakily, the tears making you tremble as you tried so hard to hold them in. “You’ll just find some way to make me learn my lesson, you’ll hurt me again, you’ll push me away, it's the same shit on repeat.”
You take a long shuddering breath, losing the battle to keep from crying. You were so exasperated, didn’t they see what they were doing to you?
“I love you,” you sob, “why isn’t that enough?”
The water had turned tepid and you blame that on why you were shaking. Hoseok finally lets you go, turning away from you before he let his anger get the better of him, biting his tongue.
One by one they leave you, no words of reassurance or love, just cold eyes turning away from you as if they couldn’t stand you. As soon as the door closes behind Jimin you let out the tears as silently as you could.
Namjoon knew that was the wrong timing to bring up such a delicate subject, especially after a session like that. They all knew it, but in their eyes and in their defence, you were the one to bring it up first. They knew after Hobi’s theatrics you needed thorough aftercare, especially to bring you back up from the bottom of whatever hell or heaven they took you to, but in that moment they had to walk away.
Their anger was getting the best of them, they couldn’t swallow it down. To salvage the situation they had to keep their mouths shut, otherwise you would leave again. Not physically, they would never allow that, but emotionally, and as much as they could train you to love them and accept them, it wouldn’t be the same, it wouldn’t be real. They didn’t want a doll, or a toy, despite what many believed, they wanted you, the fire that came with you, but they wanted it to themselves.
“That went well,” Seokjin grumbles, guilt starting to make its way to the surface of his thoughts as he remembered how much aftercare you would need, and they just deserted you. Panic starts to strum under his skin, the urge to go back and comfort you pushing his legs towards you but he stayed still, only his eyes travelled towards the room you were in a floor above them.
“We just need a second to breathe,” Yoongi groans as if he could read Jin’s mind. His hair covered his face as he leaned on the back of the sofa, his eyes to the ground but his fists clenched to the fabric.
“Who knew it would be so hard to resist a kill?” Hoseok laughs mockingly at himself, he wanted Suho’s neck crushed in his hands, he wanted that body beaten and blue until there was no breath left in it. But you asked them not to.
Make no mistake of it, they had in fact slaughtered many because of you before, but the difference was your ignorance to those crimes. You didn’t need to know, so they didn’t tell you. That man that snapped at you for knocking into him by accident? Gone. The guy that stared for too long when you went on a date in the park? Buried. The woman who looked at you in disgust when you were receiving their affection in public? Well long story short there was a trail of bodies never to be found, the only thing that connected them was their wrongdoings to you.
This was a bit more complicated. You outright asked them not to, and now their two rules clashed - Destroy anyone that hurt you. Do everything you asked.
“We can’t leave her for long,” Jimin pipes up after a moment of silence, starting to worry about your mental wellbeing. There was no movement from the floor above, it didn’t take a genius to figure out you were where they left you.
“I’ll go,” Jungkook and Taehyung were the quietest since you woke up, the youngest was the one to move first, the others watching him leave wishing they could trust themselves to follow without bringing about another argument.
“Hyung you should go too,” Yoongi says to Jin, knowing he would control his emotions better than the rest of them and keep Jungkook in check. Seokjin nods once and follows the maknae.
The silence between them only grows, their ears stretching to hear your movements, your voice, something that reassured them you were still here, still theirs. The sounds are muffled but they can hear the shower start, the soft mumbles of movement. There was a collective sigh of relief, though shoulders stayed tense. There was still an obvious problem that needed solving, not to mention undoing the damage they had inflicted with you.
“We don’t have to kill him,” Taehyung spoke for the first time that day, his deep timbre commanding their attention. “But we can’t just leave him.”
You couldn’t move, your bones felt cemented, they didn’t want you anymore. You ruined their perfect perception of you, you fought for another man’s life and now they discarded you. You didn’t want to move, to move would be to accept it and you didn’t have the strength left to. Would they kick you out? Kill you? You knew too much, they wouldn’t leave you alive.
All you could see were their cold eyes, no ounce of love in them, it left you so empty and terrified. A subconscious part of you was tearing apart your insides as it tried to pull you to them, to beg them to forgive you, let them end Suho’s life… It was a dark part of you that suggested it but you wouldn’t, just because their morals were nonexistent didn’t mean you would give up all of yours. Even if they were the cost?
You close your eyes at the question, not wanting to answer it even in your mind.
You felt broken. But worse than that, you felt unwanted, by people who swore they would never let you go.
Never say never, you internally scoff before releasing a deep shuddering breath, the fear gripping you again with fresh new tears escaping. You struggle to swallow down your whimpers, knowing they were an innate part of you that was trying to call out to them, but you wouldn’t, not when their rejection would seal the end like a casket closing.
There’s a soft knock on the door, but they don’t wait for you to answer before it opens. The hardness in his doe eyes were gone when they stared at your form still in the tub, you thought about how pathetic you must’ve looked, no wonder why they didn’t want you anymore. He sighs to himself, was he disappointed in you? Did he want to use the bathroom but you were in his way? Any rational thought you tried to have to reason his reappearance swirled into a cloud of negativity above your head, even Jungkook could see it.
“Love…” he said softly, approaching you slowly like you were the one who would run. Your hair was a mess, your knees still brought up to your chest with your arms crossed on them, like you were trying to disappear in yourself, or protect yourself. He kneels beside you, hand on the back of your head, stroking it gently like he was trying to tame it, and whatever thoughts he knew were spiralling inside.
You were shivering, eyes closed at his touch when the door opened again, you didn’t open them to greet the new presence, trying to get your breathing back under control now the sobs stopped.
Jin pulls back his sleeve before he puts his hand in the water, confirming what he already knew, it was frozen. His eyes are fixed on you when he pulls the plug, grabbing the shower head and turning it on, finding the right temperature. There’s a second of a violent shiver cascading through you when he runs it over your cold form, before he can visibly see you start to warm.
There’s an unspoken thought between the two when they glance at each other, they need to pull you out of whatever bottomless pit they threw you in fast, an idiot could tell you were still falling in it.
“We’re sorry little love,” Jungkook whispered to you, loud enough that you’d hear him through the water, his own eyes starting to tear up at your form. It wasn’t just about physically pulling you out, after the damage they inflicted you needed reassurance.
“Jungkook take her out for a second,” Jin instructed, passing him a towel before he stopped the water. “Let’s try this again.”
With the way you were sitting it didn’t take much effort for the maknae to carry you out, his own clothes getting soaked in the process not that he cared. The towel covered you instantly, not to dry you but to keep you warm, shielded. You moulded against his chest as he sat on the bathroom floor, waiting for Jin to refill the bath, muttering to himself as he added different salts and oil, something about eucalyptus or whatever, Jungkook wasn’t listening to him, his voice faded to the background to your breathing, every inhale and exhale, he focused on it.
“We’re sorry,” he repeated himself, arms firm around you, trying his hard not to constrict you too tight even though the fear of you disappearing had his muscles aching with a fight against his instincts. “We’re idiots baby, you know we’d do anything for you, forgive us hmm?”
He needed something from you, his own heart starting to panic at how quiet you’d become after the fight.
“You don’t have to worry love I promise,” it may prove to be empty words depending on Namjoons decision how to proceed, but he’d tell you the sun was green if it brought you out of this free fall. He strokes your arm through the towel, trying to soothe the ache he knows they caused.
“You know what we’re like,” he tries to chuckle but he can barely manage it, “our anger gets the best of us sometimes, but we’re trying baby.”
You were right, it was a fleeting thought, one he tried to push away but he couldn’t, not with the way you were trembling against him. They did hurt you, time and time again, their love for you was stripping you of everything they loved about you. Toxic wasn’t the right word for it, they were a disease.
He keeps making gentle promises to you, softly spoken without an ounce of his previous anger or jealousy. Hell, with the way the fear of losing you had suddenly gripped him, he would throw the fucking Captain a birthday party just to see you smile again, the feeling was dramatic, but after losing you once…
“Say something to me, hmm?” he kisses the side of your head, just below your temple. “Just one word, please Y/n.”
He nuzzles his head against yours, begging you to give him something even if he didn’t deserve a single syllable.
“Jungkook,” Jin pulls his attention, the water ready. The oldest tried to ignore the tug he felt with you in the youngest’s arms, trying to focus on the task in front of him, but your state was the worst distraction. He wanted to call Namjoon, but he knew that may not have been the best idea right now.
For the second time that day you’re placed back in the bathtub, like they were restarting the day, wiping away the wounds they left you with, but wouldn’t that be too easy. The warmth starts to ease your bones, your muscles relaxing visibly as your eyes close. For a second you could pretend everything was okay, that the men you loved were as soft inside as they were with you now.
Jin pulls your arm out of the water gently, working the loofah on your skin like you were made of the most fragile glass. Jungkook pulls your head back, wetting your hair with his hands forming a barrier so not a drop would fall on your face. His hands work through your scalp. You kept your eyes through it all, content with feeling them, their hands transpiring their love, or so you wanted to believe. Was it love or just possession?
Now the seed of doubt presented itself, you couldn’t stop it growing, manifesting its vines around your chest, you could feel each thorn, each prick brought a new uncertainty. Jungkooks thumb rubs away the frown that formed at your thoughts. You look up at him and he swore he could see you coming back to them, the despondency starting to leave your eyes as you gazed at him in wonder. He smiles softly, pressing a kiss between your brows, but he didn’t run with relief just yet.
Jin holds up a fresh towel then they’re done, you wobble slightly as you stand, but he wraps you in it before you can stumble. He lifts you out, making sure you stand steady in front of him as he dries you, Jungkook doing the same for your hair. There’s a soft kiss on the bridge of your nose, Jin testing the waters before the urge to cover you with his lips overtakes him. He doesn't meet the stare you have on his face, he doesn’t think he can hold himself back if he does.
“Come on heaven,” he keeps his voice gentle, coaxing you out of your shell. “Clothes, food and bed. Everything else can wait for tomorrow.”
He knew he was being followed, it was inevitable, he knew that, didn’t mean he didn’t fear death. He was wondering when Kim Namjoon was going to put his head on a silver platter, he wondered if it would be served to you. What bullshit did those men fill your head with?
Your friendship with Suho ran deep, your respect ran deeper, he knew that, that’s why he couldn’t give up on you. It happened in his line of work. He had seen it, call it brainwashing, an identity crisis, stockholm syndrome, there were a thousand labels for the conditions that messed up the brain. He never thought it would ever touch you, but he’d been wrong before.
Kim Namjoon wasn’t the only person who wanted his head, his higher ups were questioning everything. How did the task force fail when they put their best asset on it? That asset now fell into the hands of what they were trying to take down in the first place, the universe had a fucked up sense of humour.
Suho paused at his door, the poor concealment of the broken lock stood like a dare, almost as if it were calling him a coward. He kicked it open, gun already drawn and aimed in front of him.
“You can put that away Captain,” a voice called in the darkness of his apartment. “Your death isn’t on the cards tonight.”
He doesn’t lower his weapon despite the reassurance, criminals were known liars, and he wasn’t an idiot. One hand reached for the wall, roaming blind until it found the switch.
The figure of Kim Namjoon looking too comfortable in his humble home presented itself with the lights, the head of the syndicate sitting on the worn couch like it were a priceless throne.
“Your death might be,” Suho replies, his gun aimed at Namjoon’s head.
He only laughed, like the threat out of the police Captain’s mouth meant nothing, a joke. Fury burned underneath his skin, first the piece of scum takes his best detective, and now this.
“You shouldn’t underestimate me,” his gaze turned deadly in a second, his own warning carrying more weight than anything Suho could say.
“Believe me, I didn’t,” Suho admits, remembering how much resources they put into their task force, how he always knew it wasn’t going to be enough. Yet he still sent you into the firing line, foolishly hoping you would be the answer to everything. “Why are you here?”
“Don’t come near Y/n,” his eyes assess his opponent, calculating him accurately. He knew exactly what the Captain wanted, and he would let the whole nation burn before he ever allowed it.
“Why? Are you scared I’ll speak some sense into her?” It was Suho’s turn to chuckle, the patronising sound mocking his enemy.
“Truly, yes,” the corner of Namjoon’s lips lift for a second, humouring the ant in front of him for a moment. “But you upset her with your last unwanted visit, and normally that would mean I detach your soul from your body but unfortunately our little love has a soft spot for you.”
Disgust worked his dinner up his throat, the idea of these men sharing you like you were some sort of fuckdoll, didn’t you see that was the biggest slap in your face? The fact they were probably doing it to show the entire police force a massive fuck you, how did they pull the wool over your eyes?
“I won’t let Y/n become a pawn in whatever game you’re playing,” he said with as much conviction as he could muster, his hands tight on his gun, his finger aching to pull the trigger.
“Pawn?” Namjoon seethed, that’s all you were to the authorities that threw you into the syndicate like fodder. “I can assure you in this analogy she’s the queen, but I think you already know that, otherwise why would you be so concerned?”
“She’s my best detecti-”
“Was.”
Their glares intensified, the original intention of peace fading fast.
“She was a detective,” not your anything you fucking cockroach.
A part of him wished he followed through with his earlier plan of bringing you to this meeting with him, he would show the arrogant fucker exactly where you belonged. He’d eat you out on this very couch, kneeling in front of you, not letting the ant see a single sliver of your skin, but your voice would tell him exactly what was transpiring, exactly how it was you that held them in your clutches, you that drove them mad with a despicable desire.
It was an empty thought, fuelled by irrational jealousy that Namjoon didn’t previously think he was capable of, but when it came to you… No, there was no way he’d let anyone else witness you that way, he’d kill them, and even if Hell froze over there was no chance that your old friend would ever see you again.
The silence grew heavy, even with the rage in Kim Namjoon’s eyes, the Captain thought he looked too relaxed.
“Obviously a verbal warning isn’t going to make a dent in your thick skull,” he sighs, motioning in the air with two fingers.
Suho can’t differentiate what came first, the shattering of glass or the bullet in his hand knocking the gun out of it. Sniper. Curses tumbled out of his mouth loudly until he bit his mouth shut, there were civilians in the building. The pain seared through his hand like an invisible fire.
“Look at me Captain,” the weight of real power commanded him. Through tear filled eyes he saw the evil in front of him, gleaming with a promise. “You let Y/n go.”
A second bullet whistled into his knee cap, the message understood; he couldn’t follow you if he couldn’t walk.

Spring had settled, the snow all but an unpleasant memory. The chill to the air still hung heavy in the early hours of the morning, but by early afternoon the sun had warmed the air. You would be a liar if you said you weren’t curious how Spring looked in the Empire, just how different did it feel compared to your timeline? Everything felt different compared to where you were supposed to be. But maybe that’s nothing unusual. You weren’t even sure if this was a different timeline. What if it was a whole different universe? Or, the easiest theory to stomach, a coma dream. Maybe none of this was real and you were in a hospital bed, drugged out of your mind, and having crazy dreams.
The last option seemed the most likely, and the most comforting.
Still, you were desperate to find out what exactly was going on. You needed answers and a way home. Returning back home (if it was even possible) was your number one priority. Whatever you returned to didn’t matter, anything would be better than whatever the fuck was going on here. Asking Deoksun for help had been awkward. You couldn’t tell her exactly what was going on, as much as you love the girl, you couldn't risk her running back to Namjoon and confirming his suspicions that you were in fact a witch. Who would believe you? How could you explain that an attempted suicide had landed you here? Wherever you are. You know damn well you wouldn’t believe it.
You had asked Deoksun if she knew of anyone who was able to read futures, read palms– anything of the sort. She had eyed you with as much suspicion as you had assumed she would. She had a few questions, all of which you were eager to answer, telling as much truth as you could without letting her know too much. You had explained you wanted to know your future, was marrying Prince Seokjin a good choice? What was life going to look like if you agreed? The maid had eyed you up and down, her nose scrunched up before she had shaken her head and told you she didn’t know anyone who was able to do such things, but she would look into it. That had been some weeks ago, and you hadn’t heard any news on the subject since. You didn’t want to push her, but what if she had forgotten?
You had officially been here for just over two months. Namjoon had kept you isolated from himself, and his brothers. You were still stuck with the company of the old toad, your teacher, and sweet Deoksun. You loved the maid, but she was still just a child. She wasn’t a person you could confide in. So you have taken up journaling. It has been therapeutic, helping you get all your lingering thoughts out of your mind. Of course, you had been careful with what you had written, just to be safe. You couldn’t risk someone reading anything.
The last two months had been incredibly lonely. Usually, you didn’t mind your own company, back home you had even relished in it. Now you realize, that without modern-day technology, you were most definitely not built to be alone. But, you were certain this was Namjoon’s plan. You wanted you alone, isolated. If he could get you desperate enough for human contact, maybe you would give him whatever information he was so desperate for. But what could you even say? You had told him the truth, and lying wasn’t an option. Agreeing to his suspicions was out of the question. A shiver ran up your spine at the thought of admitting to witchcraft, even if it was a lie. What would he do?
The princes still sent small notes to your room, some nights you heard them by your door, pacing before slipping envelopes under the door. At first, you had ignored the letters, throwing them into the fireplace unopened. You would watch the fire eat away their words, a sense of satisfaction in your chest. But as weeks went by and loneliness began to eat away at you, burning their letters no longer gave you any satisfaction. You had begun to read their notes and letters, but you never responded. A small pathetic part of you was relieved they hadn’t forgotten you yet, that they still thought of you. It made you feel a little less lonely.
How pathetic.
Namjoon still allowed you to go outside twice a week, always accompanied. You had been assigned a regular guard, a man roughly your age, named Wonwoo. He was tall, quiet, and handsome. Wonwoo took his job seriously, never letting you stray too far. He kept you at arm's length at all times. You assumed Namjoon gave him details on what everyone's schedules were, seeing as most days he avoided going to certain areas of the palace. You had yet to run into the princes yet. You couldn’t help but feel a teeny tiny bit thankful toward Namjoon for the effort, he may think it was a punishment but in all honesty, you didn’t want to see them as much as Namjoon didn’t want to see you. It worked in your favor.
Deoksun hadn’t accompanied you on your morning walk, which was a first. When Wonwoo arrived at your door, the young girl missing from his side, it almost had you declining your only form of ‘freedom’. The guard had given you a deadpan look, arms crossed over his wide chest as he looked down on you.
“I’m a busy man, Lady Kim. I have far better things to do with my time, so please, make a decision.”
The bitter bite to his words had your pettiness bubble over. You may not want to go, but you’ll put on your big girl pants and be off. If it would piss off the man, you would be damned if you declined.
Huffing, hiking your poofy hanbok into your hands you shoved passed the man, marching down the hall. The Palace which had once felt like an unfamiliar maze was slowly becoming familiar. Maybe not the entire building, but the halls that you needed to know were engraved into your brain at this point. Every outing started on the same route, with a few changes depending on the Prince's schedule.
Your door slammed shut, heavy footsteps thundering behind you until your guard was at the same pace he always was. In the beginning, you had hoped to form a friendship with the man, desperation clinging to you heavily. You had tried everything you could to get the man to conversate with you, and every time he brushed you off. You were nothing more than a nuisance to the man. You had learned that quickly. You had also quickly learned he was easily irritated, often biting his tongue to hold back scolding you for running off or being too loud. So on the days he seemed particularly pissed off with your existence, you made sure to do everything you could to worsen his mood. You had very few joys in this life, you’d be damned if you didn’t take advantage of annoying an unnecessarily attractive, moody guard.
“Lady Kim, please stay close.” Wonwoo groaned, his pace picking up.
You ignored the man's begging, your steps picking up speed. The sun was out surprisingly early, reflecting off the dewy grass. It had rained heavily the night before, leaving the grass soaked through., and the earth mushy. You missed your boots. The hem of your dress was caked with mud, and for a moment you felt guilty. It was such a pretty outfit, and you had ruined it within only two hours of putting it on. Deoksun was going to be so upset with you.
The stables come into view, and your excitement picks up. Deoksun and Wonwoo had shown you the horse stables two weeks before, introducing you to the giant horses bred for battle. You had never seen horses so large before. Deoksun had been so excited to show you the beasts, that even Wonwoo had a little pep in his step. But your attention had been ripped away when your eyes landed on the fattest cat you had ever seen! The tabby was waddling toward the stables, its stomach bulging at the sides. You could have cried in delight. Deoksun had quickly explained the tabby was the pest control for the stables, her name was ‘Cat’, so very creative. She also happened to be heavily pregnant, hence the roundness. You had quickly befriended the cat, surprised with how friendly she was. You had honestly expected her to be feral.
Since then, you had begged to visit the stables in the hope of kittens. You had even snuck some chicken and other meats into your sleeves to bring along to bribe the cat to be your friend, and it had been working. Unfortunately, you didn’t have any leftovers for your new friend. You were a little worried she wouldn’t like you as much without the treats.
As you reached the back entrance of the stables, you made a beeline for where Cat had been setting up her nesting spot. She had been a little thief, stealing cloths and other soft things from the palace to make her birthing place as comfortable as possible. You had even brought along a blanket from your room to give to the sweet girl.
Your excitement quickly disappeared at the sight of a trail of blood leading to where Cat was nesting. Your stomach tightened, that was too much blood to be from birthing. You turned on your heel, bumping into Wonwoo’s chest. The man grunted, his back going rigid.
He stepped around you, following the trail stopping at the pile of loose straw and bedding that you had helped the animal build up over the last few visits. The poor cat had been torn to shreds, by what he could only assume was a dog. It looked like the babies had been eaten, considering there weren't any of their bodies around. He knew the cat had given birth a few days after the Lady’s last visit, but she wasn’t aware. Deoksun had wanted to surprise her.
Wonwoo signed, rubbing his hand over his face. The poor girl was going to be devastated, he couldn’t let her see the gory scene. Making his way back to where he had left the Lady, he frowned, finding the space now empty. Wonwoo felt his heart rate accelerate. If he lost the damned woman, he would lose his head– and he was quite happy with his head where it was!
“Put it down.” You shrieked.
Wonwoo felt his bones nearly melt in relief at the sound of his Lady’s voice. Quickly, the guard took off toward the direction her voice had sounded from. He found the woman at the front entry of the stable, one hand on her hip while the other pointed toward a man's back.
“I said, put it down!” She hissed, crouching down to pick up a small stone.
Wonwoo eyed the man’s back, his brain working overtime trying to figure out how–why– a man's back was so familiar to him. His eyes widened, scrambling to grab your arm as you pulled back, but he was too slow. The stone had left your palm, soaring a short distance before hitting the man in the back of the head.
The man spun on his heel, eyes narrowed with unfiltered rage.
Prince Min Yoongi, future Emperor.
Yoongi had skipped his morning engagements. Meeting women of noble clans wasn’t exactly the way Yoongi had wanted to spend his morning. Families he couldn’t remember tripping over themselves to catch his attention, begging for their daughter to be the next Empress. It was embarrassing, honestly. Instead, he decided to take Taehyung and Jeongguk's dogs out with him. By order of the Emperor, Yoongi wasn’t supposed to go anywhere alone. Guards were always supposed to be flanking him. But sometimes, a man just needed his own space. The dogs were trained just as well as any royal guard– they were also excellent hunters. Unfortunately, they weren’t always the best listeners. His brothers were far too lenient on the mutts.
He had honestly tried to rein them in when they had spotted the tabby cat trying to sneak its way back into the stables. But they were Poongsan’s, famous Korean hunting dogs. What was he supposed to do? Stop their instincts? If he could act on his own, so could the dogs. Yoongi had hung back, listening to the dog's joyful barking and the cat's pained screeching. It was over quickly, for him at least. But to his surprise, one of the dogs returned with a tiny tiny kitten hanging from its mouth, unscathed. He plucked the tiny thing from the dog's mouth, holding it up to inspect it. It was tiny. Yoongi wasn’t sure if he had ever seen a living thing quite this small.
It was all black except for a tiny white spot between its nose and mouth. The closer he inspected it, he realized it was wounded. A small amount of its ear had been ripped off. Not enough to kill the thing, but what chances does it have without a mother?
Sighing, the prince held the tiny creature out toward the dogs, taunting them. The tiny kitten whined in his grip as he swayed it around, the dog's tails wagging as they watched eagerly. They wanted it, and he would gladly let them fight for it. As he pulled his arm back to throw the creature to the dogs a loud voice caught him off guard.
He turned, raising a scarred brow to the woman. He hadn’t seen her before, but judging from her attire, she was well off. His best guess was she was here to be introduced to him, a prospective bride. She was certainly pretty, but what drew him in was the rage in her eyes. The woman looked positively murderous. Her chest heaved in anger, her hand shaking as she pointed to the rat-like creature in his hand.
“What, this thing?” He questioned innocently, looking down at the newly lowered kitten. He pursed his lips. “No, I don’t think I will.” He grinned, turning back to the dogs that had begun to whine.
The woman let out a sound of anger. Yoongi could practically feel the heat radiating from her body from the few feet away she stood. He could hear her shifting behind him, getting slightly closer, only to freeze when the dogs growled at her.
“My dogs are hungry.” He shrugged, glancing over his shoulder and giving her a lazy smile. Turning back to the dogs he waved the cat around again, reigniting the dog's excitement
“I said, put it down!” She hissed.
A new set of footsteps had caught Yoongi’s attention, but he didn’t bother to look toward it. His heart was beating erratically, a new emotion he wasn’t familiar with pulsing through his veins. It felt similar to excitement, but the word didn’t sit quite right. This wasn’t excitement, thrilling absolutely, but that wasn’t right either. He wasn’t sure there was a word to describe whatever it was that he was feeling. Whatever it is, he wasn’t sure he liked it, but fuck was he already addicted to the feeling.
Yoongi made a move to toss the animal to the dogs, but the moment his shoulders had flexed, the woman seemed to have noticed. Something hard hit the back of his head, a soft thud. It didn’t hurt, but anger filled his veins. In all his years, not a single person (besides maybe his brothers or father) had ever disrespected him in such a way. Who in their right mind throws something at a prince? Let alone their future Emperor.
Yoongi felt possessed, his body moving on his own accord. Soon he stood only inches away from the woman, who only stared back with a hard glare. He could see the way her body trembled, she was scared despite the expression she bore.
“Do you know who I am?” He asked softly, his eyes burning into hers.
The woman's shoulders raised, before dropping back into place. “An ass-”
“Forgive her, your Highness! She is new to the Empire, she is still learning.” Her guard cut in, stepping in front of her, bowing deeply. He kept his gaze to the muddy grounds.
“Then allow me to educate you.” Yoongi gritted out, straightening himself up. “I am the Prince of this empire, the future Emperor, Min Yoongi.”
The woman scoffed, arms crossing over her chest. Her eyes flickers towards the kitten in his hands for a split second, relief seeming to flicker across her features before hardening once again.
“I’ve already met the Princes.” She scoffed, waving a hand around him. “You aren’t one of them.”
The guard groaned, his face paling as he straightened himself up, leaning over to the woman's ear, whispering. Yoongi strained himself trying to hear what he said, but failed. Whatever it was, the woman's face scrunched up for a moment before she turned to face the guard in disbelief.
“You mean to tell me there’s seven of them!”
You felt sick.
You had been horrified at the thought of four princes. That seemed too many, but seven? Somebody needed to castrate the Emperor right this instant.
Your body seemed to act on its own, your back bending, nearly sending you face first into the mud. You may not have had many people to be bowing to over these last few weeks, but your teacher had basically beaten it into you. Bow, bow, bow.
“My apologies, Your Highness.” You gritted out, arms crossed over your stomach.
The man snorted, his empty hand wrapping around the neat bun on top of your head. He pulled your head up into an awkward angle, forcing you to cock your neck in an awkward angle to look up at him. The man grinned, the whites of his teeth and pink of his gums on display. He looked cute, almost childish, and you hated yourself for thinking that. But even you could admit that he was a soft looking man, even with the harsh scar over his brow and eye. It was the dark look swirling in his eyes that alerted you to the fact that this man’s looks were only there for a false sense of security.
“You don’t sound sincere at all.” He frowned, his grip tightening on the tiny kitten in his other hand.
The tiny cry of the kitten had your heart aching. It was true, you weren't apologetic at all. Not even a little bit. This lunatic was about to feed one of Cat’s babies to his dogs! How on earth were you the one having to apologize for his terrible actions?
“Please, accept my sincerest apologies, Prince Yoongi. My behavior was uncalled for, I promise you it will never happen again.” The words tasted bitter on your tongue as you forced the most sincerity into your words as you could.
Your words seemed to have worked, a new look ignited in the prince's eyes as he looked over your face.
“You promise?”
Your stomach churned at the look that flashed across the mans eyes. You weren't entirely sure what it meant, but you were smart enough to know it wasn't good. Min Yoongi set a chill in your blood, he made every cell in your body scream. You had though Prince Namjoon was a man of power, a man of danger. You didn't believe you could fear anymore more than you had feared Namjoon.
Yoongi had proved you wrong.
All you could do was stiffly nod your head, your body physically going against the action.
A grin spread across the mans pink lips, a look of pride in his eyes.
"Good girl."

JHS - Twisted Feelings (15)
Tumblr media
Summary: After working at an award show for 2 years everything had become normal, idols were no longer exciting to see, performances became dull and every day blended together, that was until an unexpected man asked for your help.
Warning: themes of stalking.
A/N: it was my grandmas funeral today, I felt bad not posting. I’ll trying to get my shit together lol.
Ch.14 | MasterList | Ch.16
Tumblr media
It had taken you twice as long to pack everything thanks to the continuous throbbing on your side and because you’d refused help. Hoseok had cancelled your Saturday session with Jungkook asking to do your Sunday session over video call.
You were thankful for the time it gave you to prepare for the move, all you had to do was find a moving company and everything was set. In all honesty you were excited about the prospect of a new apartment, it was significantly nicer than the one you had now but you couldn’t help feeling sentimental.
This was the first thing you had for yourself after leaving home. The first place you convinced a landlord to let you rent as an immature adult, the first place you’d brought a doormat for, the first place you’d had a taste of independence at.
It would be a place you missed but not a place you wished to return to.
You limped your way up the stairs, the thought of taking the elevator alone making your stomach churn uncomfortably. The halls were bare which wasn't weird for 8am on a Monday, with everyone either busy with a schedule or at home not yet being required to work. You still had 30 minutes until you were due to have your class with Hoseok which was definitely a blessing as you continued to hop your way to your ‘office’ with as little issue as possible.
“Yn?”
You nearly made, so nearly made it to relaxing in your comfortable chair for a little while before teaching all day. “Yes?”
You turn to find Jimin watching you, eyebrows furrowed. “Are you okay?”
“I’m fine jimin-ssi.” You smiled through your teeth.
“Ah” he shook his head. “Taehyung and I already agreed on us all being Informal with each other, we are all the same age.”
“I know, I still want to be professional when it calls for it though. I just don’t want anyone thinking badly of me.” You admit, working around celebrities had meant you had to carry yourself differently least everyone suspect you to be fame hungry or whatever other accusation they could come up with. “Is everything okay?”
“I just noticed you were limping.” He gestured to your leg and you did all you could to stand straight.
“It’s fine.” You brush him off. “Just too much walking.”
“Are you sure? I don’t think I remember you being checked out after the elevator accident.” He frowns as though recalling the incident.
The last thing you want is to spend any more unnecessary time doing unprofessional things in your very professional workplace. “I promise i'm okay. I was fine afterwards, I was packing all weekend and overdid it. If it gets any worse I’ll go to the doctor for a check up.”
He sighs, thankfully giving up on the matter. “Okay, Hyung should be here soon. If you need anything Jungkookie and I are going to be practising in studio B. Come and find us whenever.”
“Thank you, I will do. Have a good practice.” You wave him off as you enter your office, grunting as your body slumps rather ungracefully into the chair.
You quickly organised the papers you needed for the day, finding Hoseoks folder and setting it out on the desk ready for whenever he came.
You felt your bag vibrate against your leg, reaching down to grab your phone.
No caller ID
You tried to think about who would be calling you, it wasn’t as though an abundance of people had your number but then again with the move you’d had to contact a few moving companies and of course your new landlord.
You picked up. “Hello?”
“Blue shirt, black dress pants, you have a limp… I guess you did get hurt in the elevator after all.” The voice was distorted, it sounded like somethi he straight from a horror movie.
You hung up quickly, stuffing the phone in your bag as you checked out of the small window.
Someone was watching you, someone was watching you and knew exactly what you were wearing…did they cause the elevator accident too?
“Hey.” Hoseok knocked on the door, making you jump. “Woah I’m sorry.” He takes a step back, hands up as a surrender.
“No no.” You quickly apologise, grabbing his folder and the extra pens you’d brought. “I’m sorry I wasn’t paying attention.”
“You look scared, is everything okay?” He asks as he slides onto the chair opposite you.
“Yeah, I got lost in my own head, ignore me.” You laugh, pulling out the necessary worksheets. “I thought we could practice conversation today, it’s better if you learn the correct grammar for speaking rather than writing. Is that okay?”
“Whatever you think is best.” He agrees, taking a sip of his coffe before cleaning closer and giving you a full whiff of ‘expensive’.
You talked him through a few conversation starters, correcting him whenever he responded incorrectly before moving on to some vocabulary games, throwing in a few awful jokes along the way to make it a better experience for the rapper.
“You’re good at this.” He laughs out.
You can’t help but smile. “At what?”
“Making boring things fun. You don’t make me feel as though I can’t do it.” He explains sincerely.
“I’m happy to.” And you were, despite the fact it was your job it brought you joy. “Okay so just a few more vocabulary cards and then we will practice again and you can take a test.”
“I feel like im back in high school.” He sighs dramatically. “So much for graduating.”
“Actually, your cover of that graduation song was played at my school when we left.” You couldn’t help but recall the memory, a few of your classmates had gathered to do a little dance to it.
“Really?” He sat forward, eyes wide in surprise. “Did you listen?”
“I even danced to it.” You were fine embarrassing yourself if it made him laugh more.
“Wow.” He leans back. “I want to see.”
“Pass the test and I’ll ask my eomma to send me the video.” You shrug, sliding the paper over to him.
He looks at the paper. “What about the questions and vocabulary cards.”
“I’m making teaching fun.” You laugh, packing them away. “Good luck on your test.”
“I take it back, you are just like my high school English teacher.” He huffs playfully, picking up the pen.
He takes 25 minutes to completely finish, only asking for clarification on one question which was an improvement from your last few classes. You marked it quickly, his leg shaking in anticipation.
“So?” He asks the second you set the red pen down.
You fake a frown. “I guess I’ll text my eomma and ask.”
“Yes!” He shouts, slapping the table in excitement.
“You’ve done really well today, you should be proud of yourself. In between our classes you should listen to podcasts, YouTube videos, music, anything with English as much as possible. It may seem stupid if you can’t understand it all but I promise it is worth it.”
The timer goes off before you can give him any more ‘homework’.
“Thank you. Seriously, I had fun. I’ll try to do what you said.” He holds out his pinks. “Promise.”
“Very American.” You laugh, linking your pinky before pulling away. “Have you got a busy schedule today?”
“About 4 hours of dancing.” He groans. “And then just recording some more adlibs for the album.”
“I’m sure you’ll do amazing.” You give him a thumbs up as he opens the door.
“You’re welcome to come and watch if you have time, the staff are always there.” He offers.
“I’ll try and come by if I can, I was sent a few interviews to translate.” You explain, your love to watch them dance but you still didn’t feel as though it was your place. You didn’t want to seem overly comfortable when you’d only gotten the job because Hoseok had personally requested it. “You shouldn’t be late.”
“Of course not.” He checks his phone before frowning. “You’re right I should go, I’ll see you later if you’re still here when I get a break.”
“I’ll hold you to it.” You wait for the door to close before relaxing on your chair with a groan, your hands instantly wrapping around your hip as though to syphon the pain away.
It took you four hours and 45 minutes to completely every single interview that had been sent to you, in hindsight you probably should have procrastinated as much as you did but you couldn’t help it.
With work out of the way your mind drifted back to the earlier phone call, it was something you should report, you knew that.
You just didn’t want to worry anyone.
“Fuck.” You hiss, rummaging through your draw, finding the painkillers you’d put in there for emergencies and taking three.
Your phone buzzed, the screen flashing up with an email notification.
You click on it, guessing it was something work related only to notice the sender being unregistered and the text box empty.
Strange.
There’s an attachment at the end of the empty text box, your stomach twisted as you opened it. The screen now displays an image of you entering the building with the words “You’re easy to find.” edited across it.
“What the fuck.” You cuss to yourself. Taking a screenshot of both the image and the email before closing the app.
If this was happening because you were working with the members then why did it feel so personal?
“You’re still here?” You looked up to find Hoseok standing in the doorway, hair and face sweaty from dance practice. “I thought you would have come to see.”
“I really wanted to.” You explain. “I just had so much work to do.”
“I understand, it’s important and you don’t have to explain yourself to me.” He takes a few gulps of his water bottle. “Have you finished it all?”
“Yeah, finally.” You playfully swipe your forehead. “How was dance practice?”
He shrugs. “It was good.”
The conversation falls silent and for a few seconds you stare at each other before your phone buzzes with another notification.
Another email.
You can’t help but open it, despite how rude it may seem to be during a conversation your fingers itch to know what lies within the attachment.
It’s another image but this one had been taken days ago, one of you outside of the restaurant you had gone to with Jimin, Taehyung and Hoseok.
“Hoseok?” You call out, turning your phone towards him.
He frowns as he takes the device, eyes going wide at the picture. “Is this the only one?”
“Of us? Yes.”
“And of you?” He asks, handing the phone back to you.
You contemplate lying but decide against it, you didn’t want to break the little trust you had. “I received another one earlier.”
He huffs shaking his head. “We need to take this to management, they may be able to have the email address tracked.”
“Okay let’s go.” You mumble, attempting to stand only for your leg to give out underneath you leaving you undignified as you fall to the floor.
“Shit.” Hoseok drops his water bottle as he reaches out to help you up. “Are you okay?”
“My hip.” You explain, using his body to support you. “It hurts.”
“Can I see?” He asks, resting your body against your desk.
You lift up your shirt, pushing the waistband of your pants down, a deep purple bruise scales your hip
“You have to get it checked, that looks awful.” He grabs your phone before wrapping an arm around your waist. “Lean on me, I’ll take you to the company doctor.”
You internally cringe at how another day has gone so wrong. “Okay, thank you.”
“What are friends for if not human crutches?” He laughs weakly carrying you both to the doctor.
Thankfully the room is close, the doctor rushing you in to sit on the hospital style bed. You explain what happened, answering all of his questions whilst he layers heat packs against your side.
“It’s not broken but you definitely have a hip pointer.” He explained, showing you similar images from a book. “It’s when you directly impact your hip causing bruising, pain, tenderness and it may impact your walking. You shouldn’t do much physical activity for at least a week.”
“It’s not bad.” You feel lighter knowing nothing had broken and all that could help was a little bit of rest. “Thank you for seeing me so fast.”
The doctor waves you off, giving you a prescription for some antibiotics as you left the office.
“Here let me help you back to your office.” Hoseok offers, wrapping his arm around you before you could contest against it. “I’m sorry we didn’t realise you were hurt.”
“It’s my own fault really, I pushed it too hard this weekend getting everything ready to move.” You hate the idea of him blaming himself for your own actions, you were a big girl and it was your responsibility.
He practically carried you back to your office despite your protests that it would do no good for him to be injured too only for him to shush you and insist on helping. Only when you were secured back in your seat did he drop onto the small couch in the corner. “I think you’ll have to attend a recording session tomorrow, there’s some producers coming from America and Nicole isn’t here.”
“I’ll check my schedule but I'm sure it will be on there if Nicole isn’t here.” You’d briefly met the other translator, she was kind but far too busy to make daily conversation with. You could see why they needed a secondary translator. “Don’t you have to record some things?”
“Ah.” He shakes his head. “We are going to wait until tomorrow so we can see what the producers say.”
“About the picture…” You start addressing the elephant in the room. “I think we should be careful about who we tell, I don’t understand how anyone would know where we were or what I was wearing unless they had been close to the building and possibly even had access. “I know inside leaks aren’t that uncommon.”
“It’s true but after years of experience it’s always best to tell management, if you can’t walk there I can call them and they will come here?” He offers.
Despite how cramped your tiny office would be you didn’t think you’d be able to manage another trip around the building so soon after having your hip poked and prodded at. “If you wouldn’t mind.”
He steps out of the room as he makes whatever phone call he needs to, returning a few seconds later. “They are coming down now.”
It’s relatively a quick affair, Sejin taking all the information from the email along with screenshots before explaining that he will take it to the HYBE security and protection team to have it investigated, finally explaining. “If you’re worried you should stay with someone else, a friend or family maybe. We ask that you don’t contact the police yet, we want to compile a full report before involving them.”
“Thank you Sejin-Ssi.” You nod respectfully in his direction as he leaves.
“It wasn’t that bad.” Hoseok jokes trying to lighten the mood. “If you’re finished for the day I can drop you home? We have been told to rest until the producers come by tomorrow.”
You soften at the offer but still can’t find it in your to accept. “Oh no it’s absolutely fine, I can just take a taxi or the bus. I doubt it’s safe for you to come to my apartment with all these pictures being taken.”
“Please? I feel awful that you’re in pain. I know how to go undetected.” He presses.
You consider it before giving in, it was daylight and he knew what he was doing. “Okay, only if you’re sure.”
“I am. Here, let me take that.” He grabs your bag, swinging it over his shoulder before once again offering you his arm to lean on. “One time Jungkook hurt his foot before a concert and afterwards he felt awful so we took turns carrying him around.”
You both make your way into the elevator, your heart picking up as memories from the accident flash through your mind. “Did it help him feel better?”
“Nope. Jin Hyung dropped him.” Hoseok snorts at the horrified look on your face. “It was fine, everyone was fussing around him. We got him onto the couch and Jin Hyung ordered his favourite foods.”
“It worked out then?” You ask, grinning as the elevator grows closer to the ground floor.
“Sort of?” He questions. “When Jin Hyung went to get some extra napkins Jungkook poured hot sauce over his food.”
“So it was payback?” You ask through a laugh.
He shakes his head as he grins. “Not at all, Jin Hyung had been plating up Namjoons food.”
The realisation dawns on you. “So let me get this right, Seokjin-ssi dropped Jungkook-ah and then as an apology brought him his favourite food. Jungkook sabotages Seokjin-ssi’ food but it was actually Namjoon-ssi’ food?”
He hums as he helps you out to the artist only car park. “Yep, but Taehyung-ah stole a bite and he is terrible with spicy food. He ended up knocking over a pitcher of water all over the dish Jungkook had wanted.”
You take a moment to laugh at that, the thought of a joke turning into absolute chaos around the dinner table. “So then what happened?”
“We all gave up, half of the meal was drenched in cold water, the other half was cold.” He chuckles as he unlocks his car and helps you in.
You wait until he starts the car to ask any more. “What did you eat?”
“Yoongi Hyung had ordered pizza as he didn’t want fried chicken so we stole it.” He laughs, carefully checking the street as he turns the car. “But Hyung is good, he ordered two pizzas.”
“You’ve known each other for a long time, I'm sure he probably can tell when it’s necessary.” Na-Rae has always been the same, knowing what you need before you do.
He shrugs. “I think we are all just synched. It’s a little scary how similar yet different we are.”
“Well clearly it works.” You point to the little picture resting in the back of his phone case, one of all seven of them at an award show.
He looks at you with a smile. “I guess it does. Put your address into my phone, I don’t know where im going.”
You punch in the address, the map on his phone displaying a 20 minute car journey.
The drive passes by as it had started, filled with never ending conversation and laughter. When you finally pulled up to your apartment you frowned to yourself, you didn’t want to journey nor the conversation to end. “Thank you for dropping me home.”
“Let me help you up.” He doesn’t give you a chance to argue before he is already opening your door, throwing your bag over his shower before helping you stand. “Does your building have an elevator?”
“Yeah, it's not fancy or anything though.” You explain.
You weren’t often a person who felt insecure but Hoseok was someone who had everything, whatever he owned, wore, ate, did was far more luxurious than anything you’d ever experienced. “Fancy is overrated.”
You push the broken elevator button, the machine loud as it carries you up to your floor. As soon as you step off the elevator you’re reaching for your keys, only to stop as you see your door open.
“Oh my god.” You rush over, forgetting the pain in your hip as you push it open.
You’re thankful Hoseok is there as you feel your eyes water. The apartment is wrecked, pictures of your friends and family had been smashed on the floor, the walls covered in paint and other substances you weren’t willing to touch, pillows torn open, furniture thrown across the room. Anything and everything that could be reached had been damaged.
“Come back out here.” Hoseok directs, pulling you into his arms as he dials the police.
You let yourself cry as he spoke to the operator, your heard pained with the acceptance that everything you’d worked for had been destroyed.

This fanfiction is yandere, if you don't like the genre, don't read and if you are not of age, don't read.
I don't want to hear any complaints in the comments, thank you.
This does not reflect my way of thinking or living at all, it is just a work of fiction, it is like watching a horror movie, many of us love horror movies, but we would never dream of what we see in those movies happening in reality as well.
Simply put, this story was written for entertainment purposes, it should not be seen as a reflection of my values, opinions or morals. I absolutely do not condone such acts.

⤷ Summary | She just wanted to escape her past, take charge of her life and break out of her steel cage, praying in God for a miracle that could change her life for good.
And her prayers were heard, but it was not the Divine that answered her.
That was certainly the devil in the guise of an angel, she thought as those corrupted and empty eyes searched her soul with extreme voracity.
He turned a sweet, false smile on her, before pushing her into the abyss.

2020.
Three years ago.
According to Kim Seokjin's rules, the choice of a whore was something very important. The girls chosen had to meet very specific requirements, such as not having anyone who would one day - following their disappearance - look for them. Seokjin did not want any trouble, and Jimin was not about to give him any. He took a long, deep drag from his cigarette, inhaling its bitter addiction, before blowing a thick, white cloud of smoke out the car window. He stretched his gloved hands over the steering wheel, waiting for the next move. Namjoon, at his side, checked that the situation outside was okay -nothing was moving in that neighborhood, not even the shadow of a stray cat - and this created the perfect moment. "Are you ready, Jimin?" asked the older man, beginning to prepare everything needed. The dark-haired boy's eyes sparkled, he nodded confidently as he adjusted his coat. One last glance at the clock and shortly after exactly 1 a.m. they got out of the car, long strides on the asphalt counted only by the ticking of their smart shoes. Seeing them, anyone would have said they were two well-to-do men about to attend an important event, except to glance at the squalor of the houses shrouded in darkness around them. Namjoon carried a dark briefcase in one hand; Jimin walked confidently beside him before turning into a small, narrow, grim alley.
"They have to stay here, don't they?" asked Namjoon, observing the crumbling building. "That's what they wrote," confirmed Jimin, finding the lobby door already wide open; it was a low-level Motel, it wouldn't take long. They found a guy half asleep behind the counter, the two exchanged a glance of understanding before Jimin approached the man in his forties striking him dryly in the back of the head, the latter only having a chance to let out a choked scream before passing out completely. "Thanks, man," sneered the boy, beginning to look up the names he was interested in in the register, along with the room number and corresponding key. He nodded to Namjoon when he had everything and they went up to the indicated floor. Jimin's alert and shrewd eyes immediately found what he was looking for, he pointed the door to his taller friend and together they opened it, they found the lights off, but they were trained to see even in the dark so they went straight to the two beds in the middle of the old and stale room, it was clear that such a Motel could not have all the comforts and amenities with what little they paid, there were not even cameras, it was an unsuitable and unsafe place for young girls like those asleep in those beds, Jimin thought with a grin.
Namjoon set the briefcase down on the floor, retrieving ready-made syringes from it, handed one to his friend and headed for one of the beds, Jimin chose for himself the one near the window and as the filtering neon sign light increasingly put the young girl's sleeping face on display, he inspected the young girl's face carefully, drinking in the sight of her softly parted lips and the warm breath rhythmically lowering and raising her chest. He lowered himself slightly to her neck, cautiously inhaling the light scent of roses emanating from her inviting skin. Namjoon, meanwhile, had already finished gently injecting the pinkish liquid into the other girl's arm, the substance would send her to sleep for a few hours, and Jimin should have hurried to do the same, too bad that he was merely gazing longingly at the woman, completely rapt. Namjoon noticed this and with a shade of reproach in his voice, called him to his senses. "Jimin, get a move on! Don't let your cock harden just now," he scolded him in a low, irritated tone. The young man puffed slightly, before uncorking the loaded syringe, unfortunately not accounting for the girl's light sleep, who squinted her eyelids as if disturbed by the presence looming over her with the eyes of a hawk.
She thought she was dreaming, but the figure of Jimin took a distinct and material form in her field of vision, which at first glance left her speechless.
Then a shrill scream left her throat, she tried to pull away, but Jimin was immediately on her, trying to block her, Namjoon caught up with an expletive clenched between his teeth and grabbed the girl by the shoulders, pushing her against the bed, the latter only in time to kick like a horse, managing to hit Jimin at jaw level, which pissed him off in no small measure, without any kindness or regard he stuck the needle of the syringe on her exposed thigh thanks to her pajama shorts, it penetrated the skin like butter and the girl stiffened screaming in pain, she fainted from shock without needing to wait for the injection to take effect. Namjoon let go a sigh before staring furiously at Jimin, who was touching the affected area with glacial eyes fixed on his victim. "What the fuck has gotten into you! Did you have to give her time to wake up?" he hissed, his silver hair glowing with the neon light outside, and Jimin gritted his teeth at the saintly appearance he was displaying at that moment. "I didn't think she'd wake up so easily, okay?" he blurted out, before pulling the girl's body to himself without any care, Namjoon shook his head before retrieving the other one more gently, the one had been good the whole time and he hoped the other Motel patrons hadn't heard the screams.
They should have moved in complete silence inconspicuously, but Jimin did not know what silence was, evidently. They went out with a placid step, from the other doors they heard absolutely nothing. Perhaps they were not occupied rooms, or most likely no one wanted to risk their skin to go and see what had happened to the girls, it was still a bad neighborhood that one. Jimin held the unconscious body rigidly in his arms, full of lividity. When he had watched her sleep he had called her a tender little angel in his head, well he was wrong, and very wrong, too. The bitch squealed like a goose and he would have loved to stretch her neck, which Namjoon wouldn't let him do anyway, they served without the slightest bruise to the Dark Moon. They arrived at the car without further trouble, even the road had remained deserted, and loaded the bodies into the back seats. "Let's get out of here before something else happens," muttered the friend, Jimin huffed annoyed, getting back into the driver's seat. "You're making it too tragic, no one heard us," he said, earning an angry look. "Because it was a sleazy Motel, you make all that noise in a normal house and see if no one hears you."
Jimin waved a hand, as if to say that he didn't give a shit about Namjoon's worries, bit his own lower lip piercing as he drove taking semi unfamiliar roads to leave no trace of himself. It would not happen again, after all. Yes, it hardly ever happened that he got a hard cock in the middle of a kidnapping on behalf of the Dark Moon, that had been new for him as well. He cast a glance at the other girl as well, but she said absolutely nothing to him, his body seemed to be attracted to the bitch who had kicked him, this made him even more irritated. "Should we take them to the warehouse?" The warehouse was an abandoned building in the middle of nowhere, they used it to hide their equipment, but also often to torture and kill, or as in this case, keep the goods cool just long enough to make decisions about them, it was convenient and practical. "Yes, Jungkook said that Seokjin will lose time at the Dark Moon, there have been clients giving the girls trouble and he is cutting some names off the list," Namjoon replied, reading their maknae's messages. Jimin nodded, taking the last descent of that country road that would lead them straight to the warehouse.

Eat It Up PJM
Synopsis - You willingly agree to help watch over your friend's house while she's gone (Part 4 of the Monster Series.)
Pairing - Yandere! Dark! Alien! Park Jimin x AFAB! Reader
Featuring - Rina Sawayama
Tags and Warnings - Death, Stalking, Non-Con touching but nothing explicit he's just touching her
Authors Note - This is the first challenge I've done where I'm actually gonna complete it lol
“Hey, how would you like to make some extra bucks.” You stood in your kitchen, phone on speaker. Your friend, Rina called you, and being your literal best friend of course you'd hear her out.
“Hmm? What's up?”
“I have to out on a trip, fashion week in Paris actually. And I kind of need someone to watch my house.” Rina states, being heard to take a bite of some chips. “And I need you here by tomorrow. Late notice I know.”
You let out a sigh. “Uhhh I don't know, I'd have to pack tonight and then move some money around.” You poured yourself a bowl of cereal. Rina could be hear giggling on the other end.
“Just bring yourself and some clothes. You can eat my food and if you run out they'll be some cash to get more. Listen I'm just desperate, I really need someone to stay for a few weeks.” Your friend pleaded. You chuckle before speaking.
“Okay Okay! I'll come tomorrow morning.” You say taking a bite of the fruit loops you poured for yourself. “What time you need me.”
“6.”
“I'll be there.”
🛸
You had a duffle bag full of clothes as you got dropped off in front of the desolate white home. Rina was pretty well off, her home being two story with a nice balcony. You rung the door bell, Rina opening the door quickly. “I told you I'd be here.”
“Your here early, literally it's 5:30.” She said laughing. She pulled you in for a hug and allowed you to walk in. The house was very uncharacteristically quiet. She usually has music playing for ambiance or a television on. But there was nothing.
But you let it go for now.
“Okay, so you can sleep in my room. And on my bed is around 1000 bucks.” Your eyes widen as you follow her up the stairs.
“God, how much money do you think I spend!” You say laughing as she opened the door. Her bed was huge and comfortable.
“I want you to ball out girl!” She says before lowering her voice and sitting down on the bed. “You know I'll miss you …”
“I'll still be here, besides you're coming back.” You say laughing. Rina looks at you and giving you a small smile. She nods her head before getting up with a shallow sigh. She quickly came up to you hugging you tight, which you reciprocate hugging her back. You followed her back downstairs as she got in her car and left without another word.
Well it's not like you had anything else better to do.
Might as well clean up and unpack.
🛸
You'd been in the house for two days and things were off. The general ambiance wasn't a comfort more so a burden.
Rina didn't return any of your calls.
But you let it pass.
You played Lauryn Hill, as you got ready for bed. You brushed your teeth, and slipped on your night gown. You climbed into bed and pulled the soft blankets. Often noises echoed in the empty home but it was something you could let go.
However you couldn't let this one go.
The floorboard next to the bed creaked.
The sound made your head turn. But nothing was there. So you tried to fall back asleep, turning away from the noise. But then the bed dips.
It's faint but there.
“The way your chest rises when you sleep… it's beautiful.”
The voice is airy, and you can feel a hand peel back the blankets. You try to bite your lip to keep quiet but find it harder and harder. The hand then touches your shoulder, and it's texture is other worldly. It's almost too smooth. And it begins to rub circles on your shoulder, as it that would calm you. “Your heart rate is rising, I think we both know that I'm here. And we both know your awake.”
You stay silent, tears beginning to pour down your face silently as you sniffle.
“Are you scared, wondering how I got in here?” The man snickers as he runs his hand down your back. They trained along your spine, making you shiver and tremble.
“I ask that like your going to respond. How stupid of me, I'm sorry I'm still picking up on humans finicky behavior.” The voice says adding a bit of an laugh towards the end. The laughing stops and finally with a sigh the hand is removed and the thing gets up. “You'll see me soon, don't worry.”
Then it leaves.
Almost as soon as it leaves you sit up and began to pant. You couldn't take it anymore.
🛸
Finally the next day you have enough of trying to call Rina. You're about to leave and just say fuck it. No money is worth what you experienced.
Almost as if you summoned her Rina called. You pick up the phone and she quickly interjects. “Hey where you going?” She says almost too causally.
“How do you know I'm leaving?” You almost snap at her.
“I'm… watching you through my cameras.” She says after almost seeking and just landing on a explanation.
“I'm fucking leaving, you've been ignoring me and someone broke in last night. They touched me and everything.” You said over the phone continuing to stuff your bag with your things. Rina gasped over the phone. You couldn't tell if it was to mock you or not.
“But you can't go, someone, most importantly you need to watch over the house. Are you telling me your quitting when things get hard?” Rina goads you.
“That's different than this. Why can't you seem to understand. Someone. Touched me. And spoke to me, something is in this house.” You spoke into the phone grabbing your packed bag. Rina let out a quiet gasp and then a choke. She began to cry on the phone.
“Please, don't go. I need you… Please you don't understand.”
“Rina, what don't I understand? Just tell me what is up.”
“Listen… I screwed up. I-” You can were listening to Rina, but she became interrupted by a loud splattering on the other side of the phone.
“R-Rina?” You ask as the signal cuts out. You take that as a sign to leave. You grab your bag and run for the front but it refuses to budge. “Fuck!” You tell trying to ram it open but you collapse. You fall to the ground and begin to cry and sob.
“Broken aren't we?”
You look up at the voice and out a shakey gasp. It's a man, or it mimics one. But his skin tone is noticably pink and smooth. His eyes are pools of black.
“W-What even are you…” You ask looking at him.
“I'm something you can barely understand, but that's okay. All that matters is that your here. Here with me.” The man sits down and places his hands on the side of your face. He slowly makes you look at him, his eyes sparkling. “You're special, your going to change my life.”
“W-What are you even talking about…” You say looking at him. His skin is inhumanely smooth, his thumbs brushing against your chin. He looked you up and down and smiled, and his smile grows as he laughs. “What's so funny.”
“Your my new mate. You're going to save my people, my planet!” He said looking at you and putting his hands down.
“N-No. Fuck no.”
“Oh you just don't know. Rina lured you here, her house. This house is a trap. Just so you can get with me. But don't worry about that. She's dead.” He said laughing, rubbing your shoulders fondly. You stared at him, in shock. All the information he unloaded on you and just continued to unload on you broke you.
Looking at everywhere but what's in front of you, your mind was a mess. But the man seemingly realized that and just snickered. He then took out a device from the baggy clothes he wore, It was metallic and he put it to the side of your head.
“I don't want you scared of me out entire relationship, so I just have to do some reprogramming…” The device then turned out and you could feel a needle drag across your skin, almost breaking it. “This won't hurt a bit.”

"Please just give me a week then if you really didn't want me then I'll step aside and let you have your peace, just please." You're on your knees crying, begging him to accept you. You're a highly paid model but you don't care about your reputation anymore as long as you will have him in the end of the day.
Jungkook really think you're crazy. You're literally embarrassing yourself Infront of everyone by trying to get his attention and now even kneeling Infront of him. He surly is enjoying his moment right now while you're begging him to accept you.
This is truly fun and he's liking it but as much as he wanted to embarrass you more he just can't let you ruined his night while he's literally having fun with a pretty chick he was with earlier before you came.
"You're shameless, look at you. You're looking like a pathetic fool, go on continue embarrassing yourself but don't include me" he pushed your hand making you sat on the ground crying mess.
With your crystals eye cause by your tears you watch his figure walking away from you. All you want is for him to give you a chance why I'd it so hard for him?.
Someone hug you from the back and made you stand up. You look at him and saw your manager standing there looking at you with worried expression.
"Yn~ please don't do this, stop yourself just embarrassing yourself, please let's go now." You tried to free yourself from him but failed. You're shouting Jungkook's name while your manager picked you up out of the club.
1 year later
"You're so good" The man couldn't help but to keep on praising her on how good she feels like. He feels like heaven even tho devils like him doesn't even belong there. He really really is enjoying every inch of her as he thrust hard. Tears escape from her eyes because of too much pleasure but she surly wants more. She wants more from him.
"Faster sir. Need more. Give me more"  she moaned, she groan, she sob while feeling him deep in her. She feels so filled up and she is totally enjoying his touch that he's giving her. He pulled her hips to the sky and fcked her hard. Pounding on her like a beast he is.
"I am coming too fck! YN! Fck!" As he held you tight he released himself inside your warmth "Gosh baby stop I can't stop cumming ugh fck!" He keeps on groaning while feeling himself getting bigger and harder.
"That was so good" the man said before laying down on the floor together with the woman while breathing heavily.
"Yes it is good but seems like you're thinking about someone else while fcking me." The girl softly chuckles before getting up and started wearing her clothes.
"Wth! Impossible! I'm literally complimenting you alot Jade!!" The boy couldn't understand what's happening he also stood up as he picked up his boxer and pants on the couch. Jade came towards him and peak his cheek before shaking her head and chuckles.
"Think clearly. It wasn't my name that you're m'aning earlier Kook. Bye." After that she left him. Jungkook groan out of frustration after realizing what's happening.
"Sh't sh't sh't get her out of your head Jungkook she's gone!! Totally gone!!" He keep on hitting his head while pulling his hair hard.
"Ughhh!! Why are you doing this to me!!! I hate you!! Why are you so cruel!!." He fell on the ground crying. How can you be so cruel and left him being all miserable.
"Finally you're here!!, Sorry Kook I couldn't stay here for tonight I have important thing to fix. Naeun is in her room sleeping okay. I really really have to go now."
Jungkook sigh watching his sister leaving the house. He immediately fell on the couch closing his eyes tight. "I knew it's really a bad decision agreeing with you. Now look at me. You left me all alone."
Yes Jungkook accepted you. The week being together turned weeks and the weeks turned month. He never admitted that he likes you nor you trying to stop him from being a womanizer but you just need each other's company.
You will came home to each other after a long day till you actually get pregnant. It was one of the unexpectedly thing that happened but that just made Jungkook realize that he loves you. And even planned on marrying you after you give birth to your child but things don't go as planned.
Jungkook finds out you're cheating on him. Not totally cheating cause both of you are like in a open relationship. You can be with anyone that you wanted while same goes to him but when Jungkook finds out you're going out with someone else he was furious.
That turned into a huge argument that lead you both from falling apart with you actually decided to leave him but sadly you got into a car accident. It was tragic. You did not survive and now Jungkook is missing you so bad. He keeps on blaming himself. He shouldn't have bring that fight if only he knew he would lose you.
He sigh and walk to his daughters room. He's amaze by her beauty. He always see you in her and because of that he made a promise to himself that he would do anything and everything just to keep Naeun stay with him and never leave his side.
"I love you baby" he smiled and peak his daughter's forehead before walking out and went inside his room. He grab a book from the shelves as he press the button. The secret door open up while he went inside.
"Ugh I meet this girl, her name is Jade. She's pretty, hot, everything but I didn't realize that even tho how good she made me feels I still keep on looking for your touch and feels." He laughed while looking at your photo. Pocking his inner cheek before turning around and took the glass of alcohol from the night stand.
He stared at you who's shaking in fear. You look so beautiful that he just couldn't help but to fall in love again. He never said he's in love with you but he will make you feel that and he will make sure that you will stay with him for the rest of your life and to be able to do that he took something from you that will prevent you from leaving him.
"Baby. I gooddamn miss your legs. Those milky legs. Too bad I took them off but at least you can never run away again right. We will be happy family. You, me and naeun. A complete family just like what we both wanted."
He smile while caressing your cheek. You tried to shout for help but you just couldn't. He removed the cloth on your mouth and you started shouting. He got furious and slap you.
"Don't stop you're irritating me!!" He grab you hair and smashed his l'ps on yours.
Idk why I made this:( it's a trash but I just really wanted to upload something so forgive me 😭

"Princess, I am not changing my decision. That's final." The King berates you with a stern look.
You nod, not wishing to push your luck. Irene is out and the King refuses to change the punishment. Your trapped, with no way out. It seems peculiar to pester him, it's a losing battle anyways. The King is adamant, and you do not wish to stroke the flames of fury that swirl in the black abyss of his irises.
You sigh, shoulders drooping ever so lightly. "Your Majesty, then kindly change our rooms cause I can't sleep and be alive at the same time."
He looks up at you with an amused look, while you give him a serious look. Your not joking. You don't want to go to bed with a thought that it could be your last.
Chuckling at your choice of words, he speaks. "Since the day Jin's mother was executed, he has blamed me and have always run away from his duties. Not only him, but the other Princes also blame me for the death of their mother."
Shock. That's what you feel, didn't their mothers lived faraway for reasons unknown. Dread fills you, with an involuntary shiver that slithers across your arms like an icy serenade demanding the words to be fake.
Keeping your composure, you speak, holding your tongue from giving away your obvious suspicions. "Please elaborate, Your Majesty."
The King stands up, erupting a screech from chair pushed behind. His pose is regal, screaming power and wisdom from the greyish white hair that cascades down. Escaping the heavy crown that stands poised on his head.
"Their mothers were just vile creatures opting for power, even daring to execute the King so that they can share the power that comes with throne." His words pierce your mind, like a sword stabbing the body of flesh and bones. He turns to you, with a cold look.
"So I killed them all."
You close your eyes, as beads of tension swirls across the lines of your forehead. Frowning, you keep the questions at bay. Each Kingdom has its past, perhaps this one too has a dark one. A Palace being the centre of conspiracy- greed, lust, betrayal. It has all. Living in a lion's den and not expecting an attack is a delusional attempt on your side.
You take a step forward, "And Irene?" Pausing your words, you scrutinize his face for any reaction.
"Jin claims to love Irene cause she was there with him from the beginning but she is just a vile women. She manipulated him with her sweet words, urging him to become King and change the rules so that she can become the Queen. She hid her greed by reminding him of his responsibility. I am not the King of such a big Kingdom for no reason. With great power, comes greater responsibilities. It's not the stranger that you should fear, but the people close to you for they can cause far greater damage."
His words are making sense now. And as soon as you connect the dots, reality grips your heart like a snake slithering for its prey. Pawn, that's what you can deem your worth as of now. Yesterday the King could have carried out an full-fledged investigation, to look into the matter of Irene but no he had rather chosen to give out a punishment. Being eager to get rid of her in haste was a foul move.
This eagerness will cost you more than you bargained for.
"And—" The King stops, taking your full attention. "If Jin is hard to handle, then how will you handle Yoongi and the others."
You huff, subtle in your actions. Yoongi, that Prince is like ice who will freeze you the moment you near him. Who knows, what is he upto? Only time will tell that. Taking your leave, you walk out not before bowing down to the King who dismisses you with a smile, that held ulterior motives. The glint in his eyes tell you that your in for a great ride.
Anika is waiting outside with few guards who accompanied you, "So how did it go?"
Her expression was tight, lips pressed in a thin line.
You don't wait, walking ahead for walls too have ears. Your robes slither, anklets jiggling at each step. "A lot."
You give one word answers, careful of the guards that follow you. Their expression remain stoic, but who knows where their loyalty lies. In Palace, trust is expensive. You do not have any to waste on them.
Your steps come to a halt, as soon as your met with Jin towering your figure in fury. Taking your hand, he smiles sweetly. So fake, that you gagged. "You all can go, I need to talk to her personally."
Not waiting for anyone's reply, he drags you with him. You pretend to be calm, but inside your mad at him for forcing you like this. You hurry to match his footsteps, not wishing to fall and make a fool out of you. Your earrings drop, in chaotic madness as your chest rises and falls, across the weight of the heavy necklace of priceless gems.
He pulls you inside what you deem as his quarters; the door is closed harshly behind you with a loud thud. Looking back, your breath hitches at the close proximity. But Jin is quick to slam you against his chest with brute force.
A gasp, slips past your throat. Cursing the moment it took flight. "Be in your limits, Prince." You glower at him, tone dripping in warning.
At your defiance, he only pulls you close. Breath mingling with yours and here you almost go cross-eyed at how narrow is the gap of your lips which parts, taking huge gulps of air. Wriggling, you wince when he tightens the hold around your waist.
"Now tell me, who gave you the right to punish Irene?" He glares at you, his tone dropping a few octaves.
You roll your eyes, "You should ask this question to His Majesty, not me."
You wriggle relentlessly, but your hands are gripped by his hands. You grit your teeth, as he refuses to budge. "Then why did you attack her, I saw the bleeding Y/N. How dare you stoop so low hah?"
"Oh, then how dare you to fuck that whore in my quarters. It's you who is the problem, not me or anyone. It's you who were trying to push my buttons. Don't you remember how shamelessly you were staring at me, even when you had a lover. You were fucking red on face, and here I thought lovers don't get affected by anyone who isn't their sweetheart. Your a damn cheater, a fucking liar who is hiding in name of love." You fume, unleashing your wrath with your voice that increases in intensity.
How dare he chanel your worth on his lowly scale. A Prince running from responsibility has no right to question you. Stirring trouble, causing rift and hate for Irene was his doing. A Palace has its own laws, and if anyone crosses it. Your bound to punish them. Heck, even the guards were fired for lacking in their duties of guarding the royal library. Then who the fuck is Irene? Irene got his affection, but no title or regard of her worth from the King. In that way, she is just a servant and is to be treated like one. Affection alone doesn't acquire your safety within the palace walls.
Jin backs away, as you glare at him. Refusing to wince at the obvious pain your waist erupts in. Monster, a fucking monster. That's what he is. You hate him.
"So what, I am the Prince. And she wasn't stealing anything for such a harsh punishment. I want her back in Palace, right now." He orders you, as if your some meagre servant.
If he wasn't a Prince, you would have slapped him so hard that he would have a whole factory reset. You pity the King, for getting such a spoilt brat of a son as the future King of the Kingdom.
"Enough of your stupidity. First learn the laws of what powers and limits you have as a Prince. Your not above the King, your fucking below him. What Irene is facing, is because of your poor judgement. Somewhere you must have a hand in filling her mind with delusional security. And that was ripped apart by the King who showed you both their exact place. And now that your trapped, your forcing me to get her back. You fool, the King's decision is above us. I am no one to meddle in your stupid affairs."
To say Jin was mad at your words was an understatement. He knew you were right somewhere but his ego refuses to stroke the thought. He knows he is lacking, heck his father never fails to remind how far behind he is to take the throne. And now that you slap that directly on his face, it's more obvious.
You step forward, eyes blazing. "Have you even fought in war? Do you know what it's like to have lives in your hands. How will you handle this Kingdom with that fragile ego of yours. Unlike me, there will be thousands to point a finger at you. You can shut them but you can't stop them. Why is it that His Majesty only refers me as the future Queen but he never once called you or any brother of yours as future King. Cause you all lack somewhere. To run a Kingdom is not a child's play. Have any of you ever joined the King in the court, have you? You just got distributed with tasks and yet you all fail to prove your worth to His Majesty. Instead of hating me, why don't your pathetic self learn something in court. And if your a coward then give up this title of the Prince that you carry without any responsibility and leave with your tail tucked between your legs."
Your words like shards of glass pierce his body, drawing blood at multiple occasions. His heart is burning with the insults that you threw at him. Calling him a coward was the last straw. "Shut up. Just shut up, I will show you. Just wait and watch how I become a King and banish you from this Kingdom for once and for all."
You smile mockingly, "Don't dream okay, reality is harsh and unfortunately you are a weak Prince."
Throwing him a last look, you move out.
From that day, something changed.
The Seven Princes who hardly ever graced the court with their presence were dragged their by Jin. Days passed on in peace, as Jin got busy in his royal duties. King's advisors and court members were shocked by the drastic change of the elder Prince. He no longer skipped a day of the court.
The current affairs of the Kingdom was handled by him, he even went all the way to investigate and learn from the trusted advisor of his father.
To say the King was happy would be an understatement.
And now you had some peace from the quarrel, though Jin slept in your quarters at night. You two had no interaction whatsoever. By the time your up, he is gone. He had become a lot busy and so your back to enjoying your lonely time.

Taehyung was taking a stroll across the stable. Looking over the royal horses. He smiled as he pats his horse, a special breed. Hard to tame but he grew a liking. Like the dark night, Raven's fur are his pride and as his Master he have given strict instructions for his care.
Just then he hears commotion, and there he is met with a heavenly sight. It's you. His wife that he had little to no connection with coming along with her maids and guards. You haven't seen him yet, and so he is content in observing.
Your complexion is thundering upon the barren land of his heart. As if expecting a heavy downpour. Your decked up in jewels, none being deprived of enhancing your beauty to that of a dazzling moon. He watches as you laugh, climbing on one of the horse with ease.
"Princess, careful." One of your maid chides you.
Deciding to join, he announces his presence with a clap of amusement.
"My lady, it's good to see you here."
To say you were shocked to see him there would be an understatement.
Hiding your frown, you bow at him.
"My Prince, I just came for horse riding." You smile, hoping to cut short the conversation and go on your merry way.
Your grip on the reins tighten, but it's not long before you feel him climbing up behind you. In shock, you move forward. But Taehyung pulls you right against his chest, the added warmth unwelcomed on your part. You bite your lip, scowling at the turn of events. But in front of the maids, you stay silent.
Taehyung enjoys your act of defiance, his fiesty wife is surely mad now. Why should Jin have all the fun? Your his as much as Jin's. Inching closer, he tilts his head. Ever so lightly brushing your neck, he inhales the sweet scent that permeates his being. He feels you shudder, the action not going unattended by him.
He smirks, "Let's go Princess, I will join you."
Whispering sweetly against your ear, he watches you glare at him in burning fury. Chuckling he takes hold of your hands that grip the reins and pulls it.
The cool wind brushes past you, as the horse gallops through the palettes of green. Your stiff, refusing to relax against him. The nature bloomed, with trees casting a shadow that swirled along the rays of the light that create a painting of their own.
Reaching the lake, Taehyung stops near the cool shade of the tree. Getting down, he smiles at you while lending a hand.
Ignoring him, you get down. "I wonder why the Prince is suddenly interested in what I do?" You take a jab at him, not at all pleased at his act.
"I am always interested in what my wife does."
You roll your eyes. Not believing anything. Blessed with beauty, he was a sight to behold but looks can be deceiving. Wary of his motive, you keep your guard. Just in case. "Drop the act, it's of no use."
Taehyung grins, "So cold. Loosen up, My Queen."
You scowl at his display of endearment, refusing to react. You move away. But Taehyung is quick to chase you and match your steps equally. You ignore him, yet again. It's futile to lead you astray with some sweet words. Your heart is guarded, forget about moving. It won't even faze at the sight of a naked man like Jin. Your a person who connects emotionally and your emotions are forever closed for the Princes who are nothing but brats.
"Just yesterday you all hated me. And today suddenly, your showing fake affection. Why, didn't you get any other way to defeat me?" Your words are sharp and calculated, not an ounce of trust exuding at the Prince that walks across you.
Taehyung smiles, "It's nothing like that, why don't you give me a chance Princess? Join me for a tea"
"You?"
"Yes, the one and only Prince Taehyung."
"Princess, can you please send this to Prince Yoongi's quarters? I have to urgently go and give an important message to the King." The way the advisor speaks, you know you can't refuse.
You were ready to refuse, but then you get reminded of how you have to fucking bond. And so you smile, nodding at him. "As long as you don't have an ulterior motive. I am in."
You were just heading for your duties, when your stopped by the Royal Advisor. It seems, the message is not to be known by anyone and interfering in it would be futile. But you have to meet him out of all the Princes. That rude ass guy. Still, not having an option you take the pile of books.
Bowing to you, he hurries to the opposite direction.
"Uh, that was quick." Anika laughs,
You shake your head, feet moving towards the Yoongi's quarters. Your steps are confident, even as the guards open the door, letting you inside the haven of Prince. Sensing your presence, his trusted assistant quickly greets you.
But your eyes are looking at a very sleepy man who is seated on the chair, doing anything but work. "Does his lover entertain him so much that now he has to sleep during work hours?"
Your words are soft spoken, not wishing to rile up the sleeping cat who might just claw you if you dig too deep. Keeping the books on the table, you look up at the assistant who is busy looking at you without a blink.
You raise an eyebrow.
"Look down, do you want to die?" It's Anika who scolds him, breaking his dazed look.
He shakes his head, "I just was surprised, how someone can be this beautiful. Pardon my rudeness, Princess. I have heard a lot about you and now seeing you in front, I was shocked. Sorry,"
You nod, dismissing him. It's not your first time hearing it and neither it will be your last. You look around, taking a look at the cozy workplace. Decked up in gold and red, it screamed royalty and luxury. A seperate shelf was kept at the corner, wherein the books must contain the talks of war, politics, geography and so on.
Moving away, you look through the window. Getting a perfect view of the Garden from afar. Not that your jealous of your quarters, it's just that there would be no harm if the King gave you an extra quarter which had a perfect view. Anyways that cat won't mind, or will he?
Turning around, you almost shriek at the man who looks unbothered. Your heart thuds against your ribcage, even as you sense the absence of that assistant and Anika who were nowhere to be seen. "Are you done inspecting, Princess?"
You bite your lip, scowling to hide the obvious blush of embarassment rushing to your cheeks. "And are you done working hubby?" You mock back. Purposely adding the last word, just to irk him.
Yoongi gives you a cold look. "The door is there," he points at the exit.
As if you don't know.
"Where, I can't see it?" You look around, searching for that legendary exit.
"Don't joke with me okay, I have work to do. Get out."
His words are final. Not that your dying to be here. You tch at him, why so cold? But then, questioning others for their coldness isn't justified if your rude too. You shrug, not that it matters anyways.
"Now now Yoongi, is this the way you talk to the Princess."

The darkness of the night consumed the moon’s brilliance, the cold in the air penetrating the deepest part of his bones until he was forced to run. If only he had controlled his emotions and done what he was destined for. If only he hadn’t allowed his heart to control him. A rustling in a nearby bush caused him to pause and hold his breath. They were closer than he expected. Jimin silently whispered a spell only he could hear, one that would shroud him in a bubble and seal in sound as well as heat. It would be futile to try and run. Every night they were getting closer and soon he’d be forced to return to the source of these consequences–you.
Two nights prior he’d done the unthinkable. As was his purpose, he stood hidden in the shadows of the castle walls, always watching and observing the cursed Jeon and his child. He had to be informed, had to make sure that nothing of the curse was changed until the next generation came and took over. But what he never expected was to battle against the memories of his youth, and the deeply rooted emotions he had fought hard to conceal. He’d acted out one too many times out of jealousy, his coven members already on alert having spoken with him on various occasions about getting his act together. Of course he always reined it in and reminded himself that he had a job to do, but the memories just wouldn’t leave him alone.
He recalled the moment he first met you, when you were both children, unknowingly bound together by fate and a curse that would tie you together for the rest of your lives. From the moment Jimin was born his destiny was to carry on the curse. His ancestors before him had done as much, and now the burden fell in his shoulders. As children you played together, became best friends, and as teens he had stolen his first kiss…from you. When he heard the news that you’d become the next Jeon wife he was heartbroken. Never had he imagined that the reason his mother was so adamant about him knowing your family was because he would be responsible for sealing your fate. He knew why there was a curse, and recognized that his coven was to carry out the punishment, but he was troubled when he realized you were to be used as the pawn to manipulate the curse into a more twisted game of torture. His coven was sick of the Jeon family and the way they continued to hunt down the witches in the kingdom in an attempt to have them remove the curse that destroyed their family. This blatant declaration of war only made them want to worsen the suffering, so they chose you for such a ploy.
Even though Jimin struggled to understand, his family got him back on track, helping him focus on the injustices the witches of his coven had endured. He’d finally agreed and completed his mission, removing himself from his emotions in order to charm you into loving Jungkook. For a while he kept tabs on you, sending his crow up to the windows in order to receive information about the conversations that took place. Some things he wished he had never known. Over time he grew jealous, angry that you fell for the prince so quickly even though it was his own doing. He was the one that dosed your drinks with a love brew, one that took effect slowly and allowed him to enter your mind and control your emotions easier. It was all his doing because that is what he was destined to do–what he was told to do. He had no choice. Of course the witches in the castle made sure things worked out perfectly–never letting you near other men so that the effects could take place while you were with Jungkook. It took everything within him to brew the potions knowing that Jungkook was the one that got to touch you…hold you…even kiss you. It consumed him day and night.
And then on that fateful night, when he finally revealed himself to Jungkook hoping that the truth of it all would make Jungkook give you up for a cure, he was extremely disappointed to find that the idiot was not only deeply in love with you, but also willing to remain cursed for the rest of his life because of it. He wanted to kill Jungkook, but seeing you again after so long…seeing you round with a child…a child that wasn’t his broke him. Sure, he had heard about your pregnancy, but he hadn’t seen it for himself.
In that moment he lost control, the jealousy and rage he worked so hard to suppress now bubbling at the surface like water boiling in a pot. In his fit he charmed you heavily, delighting in the words and empty responses you spoke to Jungkook. It was honestly the best night of his life hearing you say you didn’t love the king. But he’d be lying if he denied how difficult it had been to hold the spell…how your pure heart had somehow managed to actually feel sorry for Jungkook, enough to challenge Jimin’s power over you. He wished then, with all his soul, that he had never begun feeding you potions to sway your heart toward the king. He was sure it hadn’t helped matters. It was his fault…all his fault.
Jimin knew you, though. He knew everything about you since he could remember. Your kind smile and uniquely pure heart was his favorite thing about you, but also the reason you were chosen. “It would be easy to manipulate,” they said…
You, however, had forgotten Jimin due to a spell his mother made him cast over you before you were sent to the castle. It was irreversible, and he wished everyday he could take it back. Even now as he huddled in the depths of the forest trying to hide from his people, he fought against himself to go back for you. It would be futile to try and change your mind. You only knew him as a monster. But for some reason Jimin had hope. While the night became quieter, his mind became louder, and he made his decision. He just needed to be patient and wait until the witches retreated, then he could make his way back to the very source of his pain–you.
Late into the night the witches withdrew from their search and he managed to creep back inside the castle, following the paths only he knew about. He was certain he was in the right place when he heard a baby crying. You were always in the nursery, trying your best to force a love that was impossible to feel, and he felt awful about it. He had never made a potion for you to love your child, therefore the power of the curse overtook you. Love and magic were quite complicated things. For this reason he hated that he’d been charged with manipulating your heart. These types of potions weren’t so simple, especially when such a strong curse was placed on the Jeon family name.
One thing he knew was that he was done taking control of your mind. He’d already stopped making the potions weeks ago in hopes that maybe you’d fall out of love with Jungkook and somehow you’d remember him instead. It was a long shot knowing the original spell was too powerful, but he just had to try.
Standing in the corner listening to you crying, he couldn't stop himself from speaking.
“Have you considered my offer?”
He saw when you gasped and stepped back toward the wall completely forgetting the baby in the crib. Interesting, he thought. “Who’s there?” you spoke and Jimin closed his eyes in delight. Your voice was always his favorite thing about you.
When he stepped out of the shadows you stopped breathing. “You!” The air from your lungs evacuated all at once and the room became hotter. You would faint if not for the grip you had on the wall behind you. “Wh– what do you want? GET OUT!”
Jimin couldn’t help himself. He took another step forward and you shrank into the cold stone at your back.
“I am willing to negotiate if you will have me.”
“I don’t want to negotiate with you! You’re responsible for all of this! You’re a devil!”
You were clearly emotional, but your words still stung. Jimin would be a liar to deny that. He sucked in a breath and then composed himself. “That is where you are wrong, my queen. I have no fault here. It is your husband you should blame.”
Jimin’s feet continued forward, and before he knew it, he was standing toe to toe with you. His chest rose and fell rapidly, his emotions overtaking him due to the proximity.
“W-will you kill me?” Your turned your head away, his closeness causing fear to flow through you.
“I will not.” Jimin breathed out his reply, his eyes searching yours. He was scanning your face for a response, the redness on your neck and shaking of your hands making him wonder why your body responded this way. You had to be afraid, and yet you hadn’t called for help nor attempted to run.
“Then…what do you want?”
“As I have stated. I want to make an offer. Would you like to hear it?”
You took in his words and thought for a moment before locking eyes with him. It was his turn to shiver. “What offer? Have you not already caused enough pain?” You went to push him away but your hands would not move. You tried again, but they remained held at your sides as if gripped by some invisible force.
“I would not be so quick to violence, my queen. What I have to say may intrigue you. After all, you want this curse to end, yes?”
That caught your attention. You stopped fighting then and Jimin released his hold. He moved away and walked towards the window giving you a moment to gather your thoughts. He knew he could manipulate the situation if he wanted to, but this time he was alone, and no other witch was telling him what he had to do. When he came to you before, you screamed for the guards causing him to flee. When the witches of the castle found out that Jimin had come to offer you a plea bargain, they became furious. Jimin was not to offer you anything. He was simply to sit back and ensure that the Jeon line suffered and that you remained with the king. Jungkook was to be tormented from your lack of love for your own child and the possibility that you didn’t truly love him. It was Jimin’s job to control events and make sure that the king was never happy, but he couldn’t do that to you. He didn’t want you to be a pawn anymore.
This is why he’d been running—why being in this very room was a risk. The coven knew that whatever past feelings Jimin held for you still burned within him and that those emotions could ruin everything. They wouldn’t give up their search until they caught him. That's why he had to take a chance once more, because if having you meant giving up his coven, then so be it.
“I…what do you mean? I thought this was done. Jungkook—”
“Please do not say his name here. His entire line is the reason for all of this…for the curse, for the baby, for y—” He turned quickly in order to stop himself from exposing too much. It didn’t matter now. You would never forgive him if you knew he was the one that gave you potions and manipulated your mind. Even worse, you’d hate him for the fact that you couldn’t even love your own child. It was his duty to follow through with his relative’s curse after all.
“We must make haste. Do you want to know my offer or not?”
It took you a minute to reply. He seemed so serious and adamant about getting a response from you. It was all happening so fast. How could you answer him in such a short time, and where had he been all this time? Why now?
“I do not know…I…”
A knock at the door stilled you both. You were about to answer until Jimin heard the voice of the person on the other side. He was at your side covering your mouth with his hand before you could answer. Lowering himself to your ear, he whispered, “Tell them to leave.” For whatever reason you did as he said and the voice seemed appeased for a moment before knocking harder.
“Is everything alright in there, your highness?”
Jimin sighed against your neck and then whispered some words into your ear. You fell right against his chest and into his arms in a deep sleep. “I thought we’d have more time, my love, but it looks like we are going to have to discuss this later.”
He pulled you into the secret passageway before the doors opened to your rooms and then carried your body into a secret room he discovered ages ago. No one knew of it, the cobwebs were evidence of that, and the only way in was through several locked doors that he had enchanted on his way in. The thing about his spells was that they were unbreakable by other witches. Being the youngest in his family, and the one chosen to carry out the burden of the curse, he’d been given a larger portion of his family’s power. Yes, he hated the Jeon line for what they did to his people, but he also didn’t want you to be tied into all of this. He never wanted what he’d been trained up for…never wanted his life to come crashing down.
Placing you on the bed, he pulled himself together and enchanted the entirety of the room so that it was more presentable and less obvious it was in the castle. For now, this was the only place he could stay. You were important to him and he couldn’t just run off and leave you behind. He wanted to start over, and that new life included you. One way or another he’d make everything right again.
When he felt confident that things were safe, he came to sit on the bed beside you. He stared at you for a long while, guilt consuming him with each passing minute. He’d done so many things to hurt you– things he never wanted to do, and you were woven into this entire web of lies and deceit unwillingly. What could he have done? He had a coven to honor, but now he realized none of that mattered. He was in love with you—had always been. He needed for you to remember him, to remember that you were once friends and that he knew you before Jungkook. It should have been his baby you birthed, not the king’s. His fingers itched to touch your face. Without realizing, his hand found its way to your cheek. Gently he stroked over it with his thumb while his palm cupped your face. In that moment he had zero regrets about coming back for you. If there were any destined to be together, it was you and he.
Jimin made sure that the environment was more suitable and comfortable for you before you woke up. It took a while, but when he heard you moan quietly, he sighed out in relief. He noticed you grasp your head. You were probably dehydrated from such a long rest. He hadn’t meant to put you under so deep, but he was desperate and emotional. Rushing to your side, he grabbed the glass of water and offered it to you. At first you didn’t realize it was him, but when your eyes finally focused, you jerked your hand back and gasped quietly.
“I will not hurt you, your highness. Please drink.”
With everything Jimin had already done to you, it was hard to take the glass easily. There was no trust between you, but your thirst won over. Cautiously you drank all the while watching him over the rim of the glass. His expression held no malintent, but you knew better.
“Where am I? What is going on?”
Jimin thought for a moment before answering. If he admitted his intention you would surely create havoc making things more difficult. So he opted for vagueness. “You are in a secret room within the castle walls. We still have business.”
Secret room? What could he be talking about? As the king’s wife you knew about every secret room and walkthrough space there was in the castle. He must be lying to you. But that point didn’t matter because Jimin was a witch and you knew what he was capable of.
“Why am I here? What do you want to do with me?”
“As I have expressed, your highness. We have business. Until we come to an agreement, you may call this your home.”
Jimin would have walked off and left the room except this was the only room he created. He had locked you both inside this space and there was nowhere to go. Everything he could ever need he could conjure up. The locks behind him would take effort and energy to open, and he didn’t want to spend time doing so just to end up waiting in a damp and dark hall. He was there for a reason, and he’d endure it for love.

Jungkook arrived hours later, already worn and exhausted from weeks of seeking the best healers money could buy. Of course he’d always laugh at himself realizing he was repeating the same defeated tasks his father had also attempted. Jungkook thought himself a much better and more determined man, only to find he too was running in circles. All he wanted now was to find you and get into bed. He’d been gone for far too long. He barely stepped off his coach when a messenger ran to him. “The queen is missing, your highness.”
Jungkook’s blood ran cold. “What do you mean, missing?” Without realizing Jungkook clenched his jaw and his fists. He waited for the servant to answer but they did not dare look him in the eyes. Simply shaking their head, they expressed the lack of an answer and then stepped back in a bow. Now angry, Junkook made his way into his main hall, snarling and humming low to the point where it could be mistaken for a growl. When he found his advisors and those in charge of the business within the walls of his castle, they too offered no answer.
“How can this be? How can a queen just vanish from her own room? Are you sure there was no one? I explicitly commanded you all to protect and watch her with your life!”
Now in an uproar, Jungkook screamed loud enough that every servant within half a mile heard. He swiped at a table full of port and wine glasses not caring as every single one fell to the ground in a crash. He was now beyond rational thought. His only emotion was rage. He’d forgotten how easily it was for him to get lost in it….especially when you weren’t near to calm his soul. It was the curse… it was always the curse.
“If the queen is not found I will stare into the eyes of every person in this kingdom and watch you all perish before me! FIND MY WIFE!”

You sat against the bedframe with legs pulled to your chest and Jimin sat on a chair by the fire pretending to read–probably some potions or spells (whatever witches did). You willed yourself to remember every secret passage you’d ever encountered, including this particular location, but it was hopeless. You had never seen these types of bricks nor the door style that led into this room. You came to the conclusion that he must be lying about being in the castle.
“Where are we really?” you tried again, but Jimin simply snickered before slamming his book closed. He set it on the table nearby and stood up to look at you.
“I see we are ready to talk.”
“I am not!”
“Then why must you insist on doubting what I have already told you?”
“I do not know these walls. This is not the castle. This must be some witch prison…”
“Why would I be in here with you?”
“I– I do not know the answer to that question. Perhaps you get some kind of weird joy from watching others suffer.”
Strangely you were right. He did enjoy watching Jungkook squirm, more so because he had your love while Jimin did not, but that wasn’t the issue at the moment.
“My queen, I have stated many times that I have something I wish to discuss with you. Are you not curious? I could set your king free of his curse…and your son…”
Every time Jimin added to the offer it made you more tempted. At this point you realized that you needed to listen to Jimin. Whatever he had to say surely came with a condition, but you had no choice. You were locked up in a room unable to leave, and only Jimin held the solution to all your problems.
“So be it.” You spoke forlorn and defeated. Your eyes rose up to look at him, as they had been busy staring at your hands the entire time. The moment you did, it suddenly occurred to you that this witch seemed familiar somehow. Familiar in a way that came before the recent events. Being alone in this room together gave you a chance to look at him….really look at him. But your thoughts were thrown when he stepped forward with a wicked smile.
“Finally you are using your brain. What I am going to offer you is a huge sacrifice on your part. Are you willing to take such a risk?”
Even though Jimin spoke a warning, you already knew your answer.
“I am willing.” You spoke quickly, shocking Jimin.
“You are sure, my queen?” His voice was soft now, and his body language less overbearing. He seemed quite worried, even stressed about your reply.
“Of course I am. Whatever it is, I am willing to do it for my husband. He sacrificed himself for me in order for us to remain together….even continuing this abomination of a curse just so that he could keep his family. I am willing to do the same.”
At this, Jimin chuckled, now realizing how silly you were. “Your highness, you do not even know what the bargain is. Should you be so careless?” Jimin stepped even closer and you leaned back into the wall behind you as far as you could possibly go. The witch’s look wasn’t exactly scary, but the power you knew he held was.
“Then just tell me already. What is your point with all these games?”
Jimin felt those words stab him right in the heart because the truth was that this really was a game, and you were the innocent victim. He retreated then and turned his focus back to the fire blazing at the other side of the room. “If you give yourself to me—become mine…I shall remove the curse indefinitely.”
Your gasp was enough to shatter his heart into a million pieces. You didn’t have to say anything for him to know you would rather die than agree to this deal. Of course, this was your enchanted self speaking, the one Jimin created in order for you to forget him. He suddenly felt ill. It was ironic how the spell he placed on you, both worked in his favor, and didn’t.
“I have to do what?! Never! I would rather die.”
“I thought as much.” Jimin walked over to the burning flames of the fireplace that blazed similarly to the rage he felt within him. “Maybe this will help you make your decision.”
In the fire Jimin managed to show the image of her son, his years as a child and then growing into an adult where he sat alone at the throne depressed and lonely. It was obvious the curse would never stop. Although she felt no love for her son, she did have the motherly instinct to want to protect what she had created.
“You can not…you just…” you spoke weakly, your voice cracking from the emotions that wanted to spill forth. “I cannot stand to see this.”
“It is what you are choosing, my queen. You want the rest of your descendants to continue on like this? All because you are unwilling to give yourself to me?”
And then it hit you. Why did Jimin even want you? It seemed like such a foolish request when he could have asked for anything else. “Why me?”
Your question came out so quietly that Jimin almost missed it. He tipped his head to the side and asked you to repeat yourself.
“I asked, why me? Why are you even asking for me? There are other things I can give you. There are riches and titles and lands….why me?”
Jimin sighed and waved his hands in the air forcing your body to float to him. You were suddenly standing right in front of him, stiff as a board and frightened for your life. But Jimin didn’t look like he would hurt you, instead, he leaned in closer and wrapped his hands around your waist. His lips were inches from yours and all you could do was stand frozen under the power Jimin held over you both magically and emotionally.
“Because, ____, you are mine and were meant to be mine. I have loved you forever.”
He kissed you right after speaking, not allowing you a chance to react, and before you could respond, you fell into darkness.
⟴ ⟴ ⟴
Jimin was ashamed. How could he have revealed such things to you so carelessly? You probably were so confused when he said what he did. How stupid….stupid….stupid. He shook his head as he caressed your hair, annoyed that he had to use another spell to get you to forget everything that just took place. Playing with someone’s mind like this couldn’t be good, and you were so special to him, he’d die if he hurt you.
If you couldn’t understand the deal he made, he was just going to have to convince you another way. There had to be some memory of him within your heart that was powerful enough to reverse the unalterable spell he’d placed on you so long ago. For years you had both been friends…best friends. The relationship you had both built surely had enough love in it to fight against the spells he had cast. It was almost a week since you hadn’t taken any of his potions. Surely you must be falling out of love with Jungkook by now.
Jimin went and sat in the chair nearest to you hoping to rest his eyes for a short while, but the weight of the entire day had caught up with him causing him to fall into a deep sleep. You woke up before him, and as you sat back in the bed wondering why you had such a massive headache, Jimin stirred.
“Morning.” Jimin’s voice was raspy, low and captivating.
You did your best to ignore the fact that he was incredibly beautiful. Yes, he was a monster, but there was just something about him. You didn’t reply, making sure he understood you were in no mood for him. The last thing you remember discussing with him was his deal…but what had he said again?
“I hope you slept well. Are you hungry?” Jimin waved his hand and a delicious meal appeared on the table just next to him. It was honestly all so delicious looking and your stomach rumbled in betrayal. “I see that you are. There is a water basin over there and towels. If you must, I have provided a privacy divider you can use, but I fear that would be in vain since we are already in the same space. Hiding would not make any sense.”
“Maybe you should leave and … no better yet, maybe you should let me out of here so I can have my servants care for me as is their job.”
“There will be no such thing. Run along now and stop being such a haughty wench.”
You made a shocked sound that forced Jimin to bite his lip. He wanted so badly to laugh at you, but the truth was, you had changed ever since you met Jungkook, and he didn’t like it.
You didn’t budge, probably attempting rebellion against his suggestions, so he offered up the food instead.
“Eat before it gets cold.”
You rolled your eyes and crossed your arms, but Jimin didn’t care. He grabbed the fruit and began eating in front of you as if he had no worries. Purposely he made sounds of pleasure, making sure you knew what you were missing. His plump lips wrapped around the strawberries…juices dripping over his chin as he moaned his delight. Annoyed by this salacious display, you got up and went to the basin to freshen up. As soon as the cool water touched your skin, you realized how hot your face had actually gotten.
When you finally made your way back Jimin had already left the table. He was at his desk reading a book making you wonder how he could so easily entertain himself while locked in a room with someone that hated his guts. Hesitantly you reached over and grabbed some food. The hunger you felt suddenly hit you harder than you realized. You ate happily forgetting Jimin was even in the room. It’s when he came up behind you, and leaned down close enough that you could feel his breath in your ear, that you paused.
“Is it delicious, queen?”
The hairs on your arms stood on end at the sound of his voice so close to you. He even had the audacity to breathe out a laugh that fanned over your cheek.
“It is sufficient.” You turned then to look at him with the most spiteful expression you could muster, but were mistaken in thinking he’d back away once you did the action. He stood there, bent over, face near yours almost begging you to make a move.
“I believe we have something to discuss. I’m over playing these games, witch.” you challenged.
Jimin’s eyebrow arched up at your boldness, but it didn’t deter him. He continued holding his position, even allowing his eyes to scan over your face and land on your lips where he stared daringly.
“I believe we do, queen.” He stood up then and walked over to grab a chair which he dragged into place right across from yours and sat. Crossing his legs, he leaned back and set his arms on the armrests and waited.
“Aren’t you supposed to be offering me something? What is it? What can be done to finish this game? I feel like I’ve been here much too long. Something doesn’t feel right.” You were exasperated and the sudden rush had you clutching your head. You felt immense pain and Jimin shot up immediately. He kneeled before you in an attempt to see what was the matter.
You continued holding your head, tears now sliding down your cheeks. This brought a panic over Jimin who urgently began an incantation to remove your pain. Immediately you felt a slow relief and Jimin’s began to calm. “Are you well? How does your head feel?”
“I…I am okay now. Thank you.”
His softened expression and worried face did not go unnoticed by you at all. He was still knelt before you, his hands holding onto yours, rubbing over the soft flesh where your thumb met your index finger. It all felt too intimate and you pulled your hands away anxiously. “I am better now.”
Jimin wanted to snatch your hands back and beg you to remember him, but after what just happened he didn’t need to. It was clear that his potions were starting to leave your body and that you were feeling some withdrawals. He could easily help you through all of this and then hope that somewhere in your heart you still remembered a part of what you had together. He just needed to be patient. Maybe once you did remember, you would easily accept his offer…but he wasn't sure if you would forgive him for everything he’s done to you.
“Good, I am glad. How about we speak about things later on. I have a few books you could use, or I could conjure up some sewing supplies…maybe even…”
“No. Thank you. I just want some time to rest. I’ll sit by the fire if you don’t mind?”
Jimin shook his head in agreement and offered his arm. Although you wanted to reject it, you realized that his gesture was genuine, and after the way he reacted when your head began to hurt, you weren’t so sure he was your enemy. He helped you get to the chair with so much tenderness you had a hard time hating him. Was he playing with you— manipulating you so that you’d do what he wanted? Whatever it was, you were struggling to maintain your hatred for him and that in itself was worrisome.
“Thank you.” You met Jimin’s eyes then, noting how his own held a slight humor accompanied by a small smile tugging at his lips. “You’re welcome, my queen.”
Leaving you for a moment, Jimin went to the farthest corner of the room and sat on a chase. He sat there in silence for a long time. So many thoughts, so many regrets… An hour passed before he noticed a shadow out of the corner of his eye. There was no mistaking who it was. It was a little surprising that you were actually approaching him. He hadn’t spoken to you as a friend in so long and all he was used to was animosity between you. His heart leapt a little.
“Why did you help me just then?”
Jimin wasn’t expecting this question, but it was still a positive response. “I aided a queen in need…that is all.”
“No…that is not all. You have tortured my husband and cursed my newborn son, and yet for me you seem to have…empathy? Wha–?”
Jimin’s fingers twitched and he clenched his fists in fear he’d give himself away. He hadn’t looked at you yet, but on your last word he couldn’t stop himself from interrupting you. “Yes…I do. It is not your fault you ended up with this man. You should not have to suffer for his sins–or his family’s.”
“But why do you help me? Why..” You stopped speaking and turned away, but Jimin waited…was this going to be his moment…were you finally going to remember him?
“Why do I feel strange? I feel like…I shouldn’t hate you, but I know I should.” You shook your head and spoke with a doubt that made Jimin’s entire body shake. Yes…yes…she does remember…
When you turned back, he caught your shoulders and your eyes met his. It was a silent yet intimate moment, and Jimin knew this was so because he could see the timidness in your eyes and the trembling of your lips. Blood was rushing through him in excitement and he just couldn’t help himself. The fact that you would mention that you didn’t hate him took over and once again he made a foolish decision. With a small flick of his wrist behind your head, a tiny glitter of magic swirled about your head and your mind filled with the spell. He’d researched over and over ways to remove the memory obliteration spell he had cast, but all his efforts led him nowhere. The only spell he could find was a temporary memory retrieval, and after a long time of waiting, he decided to give it a try. He felt like a fool, attempting to make something happen he knew couldn’t, but having you so close made him a mad man. It was only for a moment…there would be no harm done…maybe it would help you remember.
In an instant he filled your mind with every memory you both had together, from your first meeting to the time he had you pinned to a tree consumed in a ravenous kiss. He made sure to focus on the moments where he’d had you alone, moments when the need for each other was too much to bear. And then out of his own selfish greed, he added memories that never happened, sexual fantasies he’d dreamt of for years, all held back due to the duty he had to stand by. It was when you opened your eyes and stared back at him with a lust-filled hunger he only ever dreamed of, that his heart leapt in excitement.
You moved forward and grabbed him, all the memories he placed inside your mind swirling around in a chaotic frenzy. Your body reacted first, the sexual energy he channeled inside of you dying to burst forth. He had you back if but for a moment, and he didn’t waste any time. Although you’d forget by morning, he would make this moment last. Grabbing your face, he dove into a passionate kiss, tongue and teeth knocking against yours in desperation. You were just as eager, the feelings you’d held for him coming to the surface while bewitched. Jimin knew it was wrong, the need and desire he twisted into the spell making you behave this way, but now that you were both lost in each other’s embrace and breathless, he felt a little less guilty and a lot more starved.
Unapologetically he tore your clothes off, your precious beads and jewels scattering to the ground and disappearing into tiny holes in the floor forever. Your hunger rivaled his and you too ripped at his cravat and lace, tugging away the annoying materials, and finally sighing when your hands touched flesh. Jimin growled against your mouth and walked you back while holding your ass in his hands for support. He found a wall and thanked the gods above because he was finally able to press his painful erection up against you. The sensation was merely a tease, so without asking, he reached down and lifted the ruffled satin until his center met your heat. Embarrassingly, he almost cried out, but restrained himself.
“I….need you…want you…now…”
You smiled against him salaciously and bit his lower lip in the process. His eyes rolled to the back of his head, and when you inched your way to his pants in order to expose his hardened length, he pulled away from your lips to gasp for air. “You will forever be the death of me,” he mumbled out and placed his forehead to yours. The moment you wrapped your hand around him, he clenched his jaw, and hit you with a most dangerous glare.
“I have wanted this forever,____, and although you are not fully aware, I know somewhere inside of you there is the same desire. Please say it…tell me you want me.”
His words were spoken more to ease his conscience than anything else. Even if you did say yes, you weren’t fully in memory of him…and in the heat of the moment, and desperation of his heart, he saw nothing else but you.
“I want you, Jimin. Please…”
He broke entirely, the simple plea making him mad with desire. Lifting your leg onto his hip, he aligned himself to your core and pushed himself inside of you in one swift stroke. There was no resistance and Jimin almost cried at how wet you were for him. He stilled within the warm and welcoming walls of your cunt, one hand on the wall behind you and the other gripping your thigh for dear life. “I’m afraid to move,” he whispered against the shell of your ear and you clenched in response.
“Fuck.”
That was all it took for Jimin to lose his mind entirely. Without restraint he began a fast and frantic pace—afraid that if he stopped, it would all stop, and that reality would hit him. He rolled his hips, rubbing each and every time against your swollen clit perfectly. You could hear him huffing and puffing, the pain of his fingernails digging into your thighs only making you scream out in pleasure even more. You were right at his ear, breathing heavily and whimpering in just the right tone, making him wild with need.
It all felt dirty and reckless, but never did it hurt. The animalistic actions between the two of you was simply a biological and emotional need that had long been neglected. He didn’t stop the erratic motion of his hips, the feel of your velvety walls calling for him to drive in deeper and deeper. He kissed you everywhere and anywhere, the marks upon your skin a clear sign that he owned every inch of you. Even if this was only a temporary moment of sensual desire, he could tell you were well aware of what you were doing. Yes, the previous erasing of your memory of him could not be undone, but the love that he knew was stored deep inside of you for him was surely strong enough to latch on to this moment. Just the thought of this made a tear roll down over his cheek and catch into the corner of your lips.
“What’s wrong…please don’t cry.” Your words were meant to console him, but the feeling of him inside of you, thrusting and rolling against you like a sloppy boy made it difficult for you to focus. Your hands came to his hair where you forced him to look directly at you.
“Nothing is wrong…I’m just s–soo h–happy…” He hugged you then, held you as if you’d disappear from his embrace the moment he let you go. Pulling out of you gently, he went back to kissing your lips and then walking you back once more until the back of your legs touched the frame of the bed. You fell back immediately wanting to feel the weight of his body over yours. He did just that, careful not to press into you hard. There was not a second that passed before his cock found your entrance — again he slid right in, missing your heat every second he wasn’t inside of you. Your legs came around his hips, arms around his neck and nails pressing into the delicate skin of his back. This position felt much more intimate and his reach was even better.
Time stood still as Jimin entered and exited your body, the tip of his cock rubbing ever so perfectly against the ridges of your heat. Any and every touch felt like ecstasy and pain. Not the type of pain that felt bad, but the pain that made his heart ache at the thought of possibly never being able to do this again. He thought about everything, how this moment was all that mattered and if you ever did get your memory back, he’d give anything to have you be his forever. You brought him back to the moment when you clenched and began gasping desperately against the shell of his ear. He could feel your orgasm approaching, loved how your body begged his cock to spill its seed deep within the walls of your core. He’d claim you then, fill your womb until you were round with his baby-–fuck the king!
And then as if his soul left his body, he too came, the sensation more powerful than he’d ever felt with any other person before. You hugged him tighter, and he fell against you, his face easily finding shelter in the crook of your neck. And when he felt himself completely empty, he breathed out a sigh of relief and fell into the darkness of sleep that called out to him.
⟴ ⟴ ⟴
A tickle at your waist stirred you from your sleep. You had no idea what time it was, but the sleep you just experienced was the best you had had in a long time. Your body felt amazing, warm and satiated. It’s when you begin to stretch out that you realize you were not alone on the bed. Startled, you sait up and pushed Jimin’s hand away confused as to why he was in your bed.
You couldn’t remember anything, nor how you even fell asleep. Wanting to get away from him as quickly as possible, you moved off the bed and that’s when you realized your nakedness. Your hands come up to cover what they could as you search hastily for your clothing. On the floor by the corner of your bed you saw your dress. As soon as you finished pulling the sleeves over your shoulder you heard a groggy and raspy voice.
“What a lovely way to awaken.”
A satisfied and cocky smile greets you when you turn and you scoff at his tenacity. “Why are you in my bed? What happened to me?”
Jimin thought for a moment about what to say. If he told you the truth, you wouldn’t react well since he could already see the temporary spell he placed on you had worn off. But if he lied, he would never get what he wanted…and that was you.
“You were crying in your sleep and then called for me. I wanted to comfort you.” He lied.
“Why were my clothes…gone?”
Jimin smirked at this and a heat rushed up to your face. “You took them off. Said you were burning up…needed relief.” Again he smirked but his eyes held something unsaid and strangely it aroused your curiosity. Not wanting to probe the situation further, you settled for making a decision about his offer.
“If I do…give myself…will you…”
“Yes!” Jimin didn’t let you finish, he already knew what you were getting at. Last night must have changed something…he knew it could happen…he just knew it had something to do with the special moment you both shared. “Yes, I will cure the entire Jeon line forever. No one can undo this. I am the bearer of my coven’s power. I can decide his fate.”
“Then why not just remove it? Why play this game?” You were facing the opposite wall, something about looking into Jimin’s eyes made you weaker in thought. You could hear him putting something on…suddenly realizing that he must’ve been naked as well. He shuffled closer and your body froze. As you stood in silence, body clenching from the uneasy situation you were in, a small bit of liquid trickled down onto your inner thigh and you panicked. Having your period at a time like this was not acceptable. Attempting to move forward, you manage to lift your dress slightly and touch the liquid, checking to verify your suspicions, except that it wasn’t blood.
“Because I want you.” Jimin’s breath tickled at your neck and when you turned to look, he was gone. Again his breath tickled your other ear and you turned in search of the witch who had long played too many games with you. He was nowhere to be found.
“Where are you? You’re just a pathetic scared witch that thinks he can intimida—”
You’re silenced by Jimin’s grip on your hand, the hand that had just swiped your inner thigh. He’s at your back, holding your fingers up and spreading them apart to watch how his cum strings between them. You try and turn wanting to slap him, but he grabs your waist and holds you tight against his chest.
“Do you see this? This is a sign that you love me. You remember, right? Remember how you begged for me to take you, begged for my seed to fill your womb. Tell me you remember.”
You struggled against his grip, fearful and embarrassed by his words. What was he even saying? There was obviously some unknown liquid sliding past your slit down to your thighs, but it couldn't be what he was saying.
Jimin only held you tighter and squeezed your wrist to the point that you yelped in fear that he’d break it. He stopped then and gently bent your arm back and opened his mouth. Taking your fingers, he placed them onto his tongue and licked. You couldn’t help but watch him, your body hotter than it was before. The entire thing was scandalous, and when he closed his eyes and swallowed, you lost your composure.
“Jimin, please.”
“Yes, my queen. That is exactly what you said to me. Don’t you remember? I know you were there…the old ____ I used to know….the one that wanted me just as much as I wanted her. I can still hear you crying out my na—”
“Stop telling these lies! I would never accept you.” You turned to slap him and regretted it instantly. His eyes held surprise but also anger. You took a step back in an attempt to recover from what had just happened, confused about what he was saying. You had no idea what he was talking about, but everything pointed to the possibility that he wasn’t lying. Why were you naked? Why had he slept in your bed?
Surprisingly, he took a deep breath and swallowed hard. You could tell he was doing everything within his power to rein in his control. In the entire time you’d been with him, not once had he hurt you, and yet here you were quick to violence. You suddenly felt guilty.
A few moments passed before he spoke again. “Never mind what I say. The deal is you or nothing. What say you, queen?”
It was clear this wasn’t truly a negotiation and that he wanted one answer and one answer alone. Were you brave enough, you would have told him to go to hell and return you to your home, but at the same time you were still wondering if what he had just said was true. Had you begged for him? Was it his semen currently trickling down your leg? This had to be a ploy, right? Either way, you were stuck, and attempting another daring attack wasn’t a good idea.
“I accept.” You shocked yourself with your reply, but the truth was, you had no other option. Strangely you felt a relief knowing that the decision you had just made would free Jungkook and your son. Since you could remember you were born to help others, to provide kindness and love…?
Wasn’t that what you were supposed to be feeling for your husband right now? You searched your heart and panicked when you realized that the only reason you had just agreed to Jimin’s deal was because you would be helping free someone. It was your weakness, serving others, and you suddenly realized why you felt so bound to Jungkook. It was because you wanted to help him, because the lonely prince in the tower was all alone and needed someone. No one was there but you. You were in love, weren’t you?
“It is done.” Jimin waved his hand in triumph. It didn’t take long for him to chant the counter curse, and when it was complete, he breathed a sigh of relief. Finally you were his. His moment of celebration, however, was short-lived.
Shaking in confusion, you turned to Jimin with a million questions in your head. You hated Jimin, but didn’t…and you didn’t love Jungkook….but did?
“What is happening to me?” You suddenly felt ill and your body shook uncontrollably. Nausea started bubbling in your stomach and you fell to your knees on the verge of fainting.
Jimin watched as you fell to a heap on the floor and it broke his heart. This was not what he was expecting. After all that had happened, he thought that maybe your feelings had changed for him. Even though you’d been under a spell, he could still feel the love you had for him. It wasn’t just his imagination. It couldn’t have been. When you began sobbing loudly he immediately ran to you and held you in his embrace.
You sat in his lap and cried. There were so many questions and unknowns floating around in your mind and everything was just too much. You didn’t know what was wrong, but you knew something wasn’t right. Your heart felt broken and your soul was empty. You felt nothing for your husband and even less for your child. Exhausted from your sorrow, you fell asleep in Jimin’s arms. He wasn’t sure what to do now. Did you really hate him this much? Was his own selfishness really worth your suffering?
⟴ ⟴ ⟴
A day passed but you did not wake. Jimin was beginning to worry. He didn’t want to use any more enchantments knowing the damage he’d already caused. Years and years of potions and spells couldn’t be good for a weak human, yet he was getting desperate to see your beautiful eyes open once more. After the second day, he realized you weren’t going to wake on your own so he tried a spell, lightning it as much as he could, but that did not work either. There was really nothing else he could do, so he chose to go against every fiber of his being.
Out of desperation he turned to the only person he knew could help you. He saw Jungkook’s profile highlighted by the candlelight in the room. It was obvious he was deep in thought and that his soul was troubled. Good–Jimin thought. It took him much longer than he expected, but asking Jungkook for help really wasn’t in his plans. He was here for you and nothing more.
“Your highness.”
Jimin’s voice caused Jungkook to jump, and then immediately take a defensive stance. “What are you doing here?” he growled.
“Now, now. If you start off like that you won’t ever know.”
Curious, Jungkook relaxed, but only slightly. “What business do you have here? Are you here to gloat about my wife’s disappearance?”
“About that…”
Jungkook immediately realized his suspicions were correct. “WHERE IS SHE??? WHE—?”
“Now, now.” Jimin stopped Jungkook from coming forward, freezing the larger man in his place. Jungkook’s fist was partially in the air and Jimin knew from the looks of it that it would hurt. “You really must learn to control that temper.”
“Let me go and you’ll see what this temper can do!” Jungkook threatened and Jimin chuckled.
“As much as I’d like to watch you squirm, I am here with an urgent matter. Your wife…my queen, is ill and it seems that my magic is not enough for this matter. Sadly my powers do not deal with herbs and healing, so I am at a crossroads. You will need to call for your royal doctors.”
Jungkook was angry at first but then stunned that Jimin was coming to ask him for help. He was also worried and upset that you were ill. “Let me go. Where is she? What is wrong with her?”
“King, we do not have time to discuss these things! Healers! Now!”
Jimin let Jungkook go, but hesitantly. The look the king gave him was clear that if it hadn’t been for the emergency situation he would have killed him right then. Not wanting to push Jungkook further, Jimin conjured you up onto the bed. The moment you appeared Jungkook ran to your side and fell on the bed beside you. The entire scene made Jimin want to hurl. “We don’t have time for your weak tears. ____ needs a physician!”
Jungkook tore himself away from you, angry that Jimin was still in the room, but he didn’t want to deal with that now. He ran out into the halls, calling whatever servant was near and asked for them to send out for his best physician immediately. He ran back into the room after and came to your side. He noticed Jimin was by the window peeking through them in a paranoid manner.
“Where has she been all this time? Why did you take her from me?”
“You should ask yourself that question. Have you felt any different lately?”
The question was weird. Why would Jimin even care about Jungkook? He thought for a moment wondering if the witch wasn’t up to his weird tricks when it hit him. He did feel different, but what was it? Walking over to a mirror he gave himself a once over not really seeing anything until he met his own eyes…his own brown and normal eyes.
“Wha–what?” He turned to Jimin surprised. He didn’t feel the hate…the evil…he was healed. “What have you done? What is this?”
“It was not I.” Jimin’s eyes floated to your unmoving form and it was then that Jungkook understood it all. You must’ve gone to Jimin on your own to ask for this.
“She should not have…she…not for meee.” Jungkook’s tears trickled down and Jimin made a disgusted noise. “You really shouldn’t be so self-absorbed. Because of her choice, she has somehow overwhelmed herself and now her body won’t respond to my magic. It is your fault.”
“Choice?”
Jimin’s eyebrow arched and he turned around smugly to look at the foolish king. “Yes, choice. I’m sure she can explain it to you when she wakes up. Where is that damned physician?”
Before Jungkook could ask for more, the doctor arrived and immediately began taking care of you. Jimin was nowhere to be found. Jungkook’s attention returned to you and he held your hand while the doctor did his work. After about an hour the physician was able to determine that your body had shut down due to extreme stress and emotional distress. It also appeared you’d been severely dehydrated. Jungkook thanked the doctor profusely and paid him generously.
The king could see the color returning to your face and the rhythm of your heartbeat returning to normal. For the first time in his life, he felt peace.
⟴ ⟴ ⟴
Jimin watched from his hidden shadows as the doctor worked to revive you. Jungkook had stubbornly remained by your side and it only drove him crazy. Didn’t that stupid king realize you no longer loved him? As soon as the room was clear Jimin made his appearance. “We’ll be leaving now.”
“What do you mean, we?”
“You have what you want. You are no longer cursed and your troublesome brat is also free. Is that not enough?”
Jungkook would argue further with the witch, but he realized that he was now a simple human with no power or curse to defend himself. “It cannot be enough without ____. She is why I live and breathe. Surely you know this by now? Yet you remain here playing your games and torturing us. Why?”
“She was never yours to begin with. You must know, or are you as stupid as I suspected.”
Jungkook bit his tongue at the remark. “She came to me and cared for me when her mother died. She was mine since the very beginning. She remained when I needed her…I do not know what you are trying to say, but ___is my wife.”
“Trivial titles and contracts mean nothing to me. Do you really think that ____ perfectly met you and found you so easily? Did you really think she was immune to your curse just like that?” Jimin snapped his fingers and walked closer, taking in the way the light diminished in Jungkook’s eyes. “Yes…king…think.”
“Jimin, please stop.” Your voice came out of nowhere, but it immediately deflated Jimin’s ego. Without realizing, he was at your side along with Jungkook.
“My love. Are you well? I thought you would leave me forever.” The king’s voice cracked as he spoke and you lifted a hand to caress his cheek. “Do not worry about me. I have saved you.”
Jungkook’s hand came over yours and held it against his cheek. “Yes, you have, but at what cost?”
Your eyes traveled to Jimin then and Jungkook suddenly understood. “No, please tell me you didn’t.” He broke then, head bowed and laid upon your chest as he sobbed pathetically. At this point Jimin was walking back, constantly observing the windows and doors hoping that his coven wasn’t aware of his presence. “We must leave now, king. You have a son to raise.”
Just as Jimin was about to take you both away, Jungkook ran at him full force. The action knocked Jimin over and the air was pushed out of his lungs. Gasping, he began to panic, but he had no time to recover before Jungkook began choking him out. From the bed you could see the entire thing taking place thinking that no one should die because of you.
Dragging yourself out of bed, you reached Jungkook and grabbed at his hands crying out for him to let Jimin go, but Jungkook pulled away from your hold. “This witch must die!”
“Jungkook! Please stop. No one must die. This is not who you are!”
“Isn’t it?” Anger raged behind his eyes and when you tried to pull him again, he snapped back and accidentally hit you. You fell back and this distraction gave Jimin enough time to gather his breath. As Jungkook tended to you with profuse apologies, Jimin chanted.
Once again Jungkook felt himself changing. “No…anything but thissss!” He covered his eyes with his hands and screamed into his palms all while you watched. The room was suddenly darker and every candle was snuffed. Winds came in from the windows all around and when you looked up at Jimin, his eyes were yellow.
“Jimin, don’t do this!”
It was too late. The curse he was transferring had a much darker and sinister piece that wasn’t there before. You could feel the evil in the room and when you went to check on Jungkook again, his head popped up and the face before you was not that of a man. Whatever evil was within him reflected in his image and you slid back in fear. Jungkook attempted to grab you but Jimin flew him back into the wall. “Don’t you ever fucking touch her!”
There was a fire suddenly and the entire castle started bursting into flames. You screamed and in your already sensitive state, passed out on the concrete floor. Jimin came to you and scooped you into his arms. Finally having what he’s wanted all along, he teleported you both out of the castle and into safety.
⟴ ⟴ ⟴
Months passed and yet you were still angry with Jimin. The magic he had used that night was forbidden and there were consequences for it, so Jimin undid it all before running away with you. He promised you that Jungkook and the baby were safe, but the entire display from that night left doubt in your mind. Jimin tried countlessly to win you over and make you forgive him, but you wouldn’t hear it. You felt guilt in your heart knowing that you never truly loved Jungkook and that it had been Jimin all along who was enchanting these feelings. He admitted that much to you in an attempt to get you to understand, but there was still more to his story that he didn’t share.
The mountain that he transported you both to was entirely secluded from civilization. It wasn’t exactly a castle, but it was still cozy. Jimin had made it your own personal space and it really looked like home. You wanted to miss Jungkook and your child, but the truth was you only missed what you remember having, not what you felt. Your connection to them was purely under magic and it was confusing for you to process this. Thankfully Jimin had left you alone knowing that you didn’t want anything to do with him either.
In time you began speaking with him, but only when you needed something. It was after a year that you could no longer bear the loneliness. As usual Jimin sat by the fire reading and you walked into the library and up to his chair. He stopped what he was doing immediately and gave all of his attention to you.
“______?” Not in the entire time you’d been his captive had you ever come to him. He was extremely curious to know what you wanted to say. His hopes for your memory of him returning did not happen, of course, but it wasn’t for his lack of trying.
“It has been a long time since I’ve been here, and I know now that you will never let me go. Even after everything you have told me, I still wonder…I still don’t understand why you wanted me? Why don’t you ever tell me the truth?”
A tiny shiver ran through Jimin as your words penetrated his heart. For months he longed to tell you, but the fact that you already hated him, and didn’t want anything to do with him for an entire year made it clear that he should leave you alone. The problem was, the way you were currently looking at him, with desperate and trusting eyes…he really didn’t know what to do. He cleared his throat and closed his book, taking a moment to think before standing.
“I– It’s just that…” his words escaped him and for the first time in a long time he felt nervous. This was entirely new to him as he was always the one in control. “It’s not so easy to explain…if I tell you…”
As Jimin struggled to speak, you came to his side and grabbed his hand, lacing your fingers with his own. This stopped him in his tracks, and his eyes searched your face for a reason. You wanted to tell him that even though he’d kept you here, not once had he mistreated you and that somewhere along the line your heart softened a little towards him, but those words died the moment he looked at you. His look was always so…what was the word…oh yes…full of longing.
With your physical contact, Jimin was now able to find the courage. He spoke without pause, spewing forth every memory he had of you both and the feelings that he harbored for years at the demand of his coven. Somewhere along his confession tears began falling, and soon he had you so close you could feel his heartbeat against your chest. Your hand had somehow made it to his face, and your thumb was swiping over the tears that fell heavily. He gasped and his voice cracked, but when it was finally over, he turned away from you in wait for your response.
It was silent for much too long, and suddenly filled with dread, Jimin turned around. He saw you then, standing where he left you, silent with your head down. What could you possibly be thinking? He was about to speak when you looked up at him. This time it was you that had tears in your eyes. His heart stopped.
“J-Jimin…I–” Taking several breaths, it took you a moment to calm down. Closing your eyes, you inhaled deeply and sighed out shakily. “Jimin. I do not know what to say to this. The love I thought I once felt for Jungkook was a lie and now…how do I know you are not trying to trick me again? You put charms on me...spells. You…made me into some sort of pawn because of your coven's hatred toward a man that had nothing to do with me? And now you tell me that you have been in love with me since…we were children? Not only that, but you used evil magic against Jungkook and tried to kill my child and you still…what am I supposed to say to this?” Your voice was now elevated without realizing it and your body began to shake. You watched as Jimin shrank in on himself.
All of your anger and frustration was being released at this moment the more you processed that it was his fault, it had always been his fault. He deserved this.
When you stopped speaking, Jimin quietly spoke. “Say nothing. I know I have wronged you in so many ways and that I could never be forgiven for what I have done. I will do anything you ask of me. Anything you want.”
“Take me back.”
“Wha–” These words Jimin was not expecting and he stood in complete shock at your choice.
“Is that what you want? Really want?”
“Yes!” You snapped. Your entire form was rigid and your face looked stern. The more you thought about what Jimin had done to you, the angrier you became. He was responsible for every pain you had been through and he even locked you up in this mountain with him for an entire year only to reveal that he was behind everything. It made you sick to your stomach.
“Has this….HAVE I NOT…All this time means nothing to you?!” Now Jimin’s voice was raised as the confusion and desperation set in. How could you ask for such a thing when he had given his entire life for you? “The answer is no.” He retaliated with nostrils flaring.
“How dare you?!” You came at him then, ready to slap him in the face, but he caught your hand. A split moment passed between the both of you before you were both on each other. Your mouth crashed against his in an angry kiss. The top of your dress made of fine silk was ripped apart by his hands, and your chest became exposed to his eyes. He growled low and pushed you back until you fell against the table in the corner. The flowers within the vase crashed onto the floor but neither of you bothered to care. The only thing you could feel and see was each other. As Jimin kissed your neck down to your chest, your hands searched desperately for the buttons to loosen his surcoat. There were too many pieces of clothing in your way and you cried out hotly.
Jimin heard your plea and removed his coat and shirt only remaining in his fitted breeches. Your entire dress was torn down to your waist and now able to feel each other’s skin, he embraced you and kissed you passionately. There was no tenderness and no wasting of time. Needing him inside, you kicked behind him and pulled him closer with your legs. He knew immediately what you needed. Lifting the hem of your dress up, he pressed his hardened length against your wet core and you mewled salaciously.
“My favorite sound…” Jimin chuckled deviously against your ear and then pulled his cock out of his pants. Aligning to your center easily, his memory of your body guiding him, he pressed the head of his swollen cock against your opening and pushed in slowly. The teasing annoyed you, so you used your heels to push him the rest of the way. The connection had you both moaning into the echoing hall, and when your eyes connected, Jimin began thrusting in and out of you perfectly. His hips rolled in a way that had you seeing stars and with each stroke he made sure to rub his rounded tip on the sensitive ridges of your cunt. He had a hand buried in your hair and the other holding your hip steady. He didn't want to ruin the pace that currently had you both ensnared in passion. Your head hung back and your mouth was wide, crying out and moaning your pleasure so that Jimin knew exactly how he was making you feel. His lips danced delicately over the column of your neck and his wicked tongue circled teasingly over the sensitive spots he was about to mark up. His patience ran thin as soon as you started thrusting back into him in desperation. He lifted you off the table then and placed you on the ground. Kissing the tip of your nose, he looked at you once before dipping down to your ear. “What I am about to do to your body will not be sweet. Is my queen improper enough to tolerate it?”
You agreed instantly and whimpered when he turned you around and pushed your head down against the table. Your hands came up to settle beside your head, and still trying to process everything, Jimin surprised you by spreading your legs open and then pushing back into you. His hand came to the back of your neck holding you in place and you ached to be ruined. You attempted to look back at him, but his tutting quickly reminded you who was in charge. A harsh smack to the tender flesh of your ass quickly set you right and you sobbed out in pleasure. “My good and delicate queen having her body taken and filled by a wicked and evil devil…that is what you called me no? A devil?”
Pound after pound you delighted in the pleasure, almost too fucked out to cry for mercy. It’s when his hand came down to softly brush over your ass that your attention was focused. You were so distracted with it that when Jimin smacked it again you were not expecting it. “Pay attention to the dick inside of you, wench.” The hand at the back of your neck disappeared and soon you felt exactly where it went. Your mouth opened up obediently to the prodding of his fingers as he needed to say nothing about what he wanted you to do. He fucked your mouth tenderly, smiling wickedly at the duteous mouth that had asked to be rid of him just moments ago . And then, as if he had no shame whatsoever, he spit out a dribble of his saliva perfectly onto your asshole. You knew then what he would do and tensed, but he stopped his thrusts and bent over your back and close to your face. “Say you’re mine and that you will never leave me.”
You couldn’t think let alone speak, but the feeling of his hard cock just sitting inside of your tender pussy unmoving was killing you. “J-Jimin…pleaseee.”
“I know, my queen. Now say it.” He kissed your cheek and then stood back up and slowly slid his thumb down your crack until it settled right at your hole. He tested it a little, barely pushing in, and you bucked and shouted. “Yes…oh gods YES. I am yours. I will never leave!”
Without pause, he pushed a little past the resistance, but not completely. He began his movements again, this time using his grip on your ass to help him through. He watched himself disappear and reappear from your cunt and simultaneously got more aroused at the way your asshole clenched and unclenched over the tip of his finger. Your cries grew in intensity and he was equally ruined by you. Thrust after thrust his cock began to inflate and before he could warn you, he came. You came with him at the same time, the sounds of your pleasure bouncing off the walls in the library. He collapsed on top of you and you whined out. His chuckle reverberated against your back and he was up quickly removing his spent cock from inside of you. Jimin helped you up and turned you around, his satiated smile letting you know he was beyond happy. He kissed you softly and helped hold you up as your legs were too weak to hold you up.
“I guess this means that you’re staying.”
“I guess so.”
“I love you, ____.”
You kissed him back and then walked with him until you both found his bedroom. You settled him into the bed, and promised to return after cleaning yourself. As Jimin lay there, every fear and worry he ever had melted away as he finally had everything that he ever wanted. This was only the beginning.
A short while later you returned, fully cleansed and holding a glass of water. “Here you are. I imagine you’ve built up quite a thirst.” You smiled shyly and sleepy Jimin sat up to take the glass. “Thank you, my queen.” You sat back and watched him drink, enjoying the way his adam’s apple bobbed. And then a voice came into your head, the same voice you heard five minutes before pouring him his drink–a moment you don’t recall doing–and it gave you another order. “Return to your beloved husband, Jimin has to face his consequences alone.”
As you walked, mind blank, you weren’t able to see several witches from Jimin’s coven standing in the background of the hall. One wrapped you in a coat and led you toward the exit while the others stood in the background in silence. Jimin’s voice called out to you before silencing. He realized he wasn’t alone.
As he laid in the bed suddenly feeling dizzy, the betrayal of what was happening suddenly soaked in. The creaking of the bedroom door drew his eyes to the sound, and there in the threshold stood his long time friend, Jin. He looked disappointed and even regretful, but Jimin knew Jin was faithful above all else to the coven.
“I am sorry, my dear friend, but how else could we get to you? Your weakness for ____ was the only way. Once we figured out where you were hiding, we only needed to penetrate her mind. Your power was much too great for us to just walk in, so we added a special mixture to help sedate you. You will have to face judgment for your disobedience and betrayal. Be lucky I convinced them not to kill you.”
Unable to move, Jimin laid in silence. He should have been more cautious, but he had let his guard down in order to show you he wasn’t using his magic. His heart shattered into millions of pieces, not for the fact that he was caught, but for the fact that he would never see you again. He closed his eyes and wished he could be anywhere but here. As he waited out the sedative to take its full course, he glanced at Jin for mercy, but Jin simply shook his head. “I cannot intervene, my brother.”
Days later Jimin stood in front of the council locked in a cage with arms bound together with a magic rope that inhibited his powers. He listened to the accusations and list of prohibited behaviors he had performed against his people’s wishes. Accusation after accusation was laid upon him until the final decision was made.
“Park Jimin is to be transported to the furthest tower in the East where he will spend eternity paying his debts as punishment. All of his powers are to be removed henceforth. He is no longer to enter this kingdom and is no longer a Park witch.”
With those final words Jimin felt all of his power disappear and the weakness of his new form take over. In a blink of an eye he was inside of the prison tower he’d been sentenced to. His first reaction was fear, but then a giggle began building up inside of him until it spilled forth. The sound echoed within the empty walls and Jimin could find no relief from the joke that wasn’t really a joke. His belly began to ache and when everything finally hit him, he let out a painful scream. Falling to the floor, he laid there in a pool of his own tears, numb, the irony of everything not missed. He deserved this after all, it was his fault…it had always been his fault.
