Honestly, thoughts are all over the place. But thank you so much for asking!!! Here they are as of today:

The Game:

The first 3 chapters - 8/10 I was going to give it a 7.5, because of the repeating dialogue and a few spelling mistakes, but so far, I think it's better written than Seasons 4 and 5- maybe on par with S3 which is a season I really enjoyed. I'm really liking how Amelia seems to be responding to how you treat her, especially if you look at the scripts. Whether or not that will affect her actions remains to be seen.

The MC - 8/10 I gotta say... she's pretty cute. It does take some fiddling to get her the way you want her, and some of her facial expressions make it look like she's had botched lip job, but overall, she's definitely prettier than S4 and S5. (Except your S5 MC ^^ wtf she's so pretty???)

The LIs - 9/10 So far, I'm really liking what I'm seeing. Yeah, some of their dialogue is the same. But I think they're different enough in personality and where it matters that it's not as noticeable as it was in say, Season 4, where James and Bruno shared a whole heap of the same dialogue, but it was clearly written with Bruno in mind, so it just seemed OOC for James. We've got a cocky dancer with a hopeless romantic streak; a golden retriever boyfriend with a soft spot for his Nan; a funny, cheeky skateboarder with a 'why-don't-you-make-me' level of flirt; and also Ryan is there. The personalities are distinct, the character designs are great, I'm really looking forward to finding out more about them

Overall design and concept- 7/10 I gotta say, I'm optimistic. It's starting out really strong for a new season. I get that it's not everyone's cup of tea, as it's a little 'gimmicky', but that's the road Fusebox are going down with the past few seasons. They're not just doing an 'open play' like S1, 2 and 3 where you come in as an OG and play all the way through. 4,5, and 6 are all 'themed', and I think having a twin in the villa is a cool concept that'll be worth exploring. It's been easy in previous seasons to just play for yourself, and say 'fuck these hoes' and just take whatever LI you want. But when it's your own sister, I think it'll make it harder to go after what you want - a moral dilemma with a family flavour. I kinda love it. Plus, if you have an identical twin that's as hot as you are, I doubt this is the first time you've had men confused about which one of you to pick💀

The Islanders:

Bella - hot. flawlessly hot. incredible rack. Her character design is absolutely gorgeous, and she is gonna be a fan favourite for sure. She just seems so fun, similar to Cora from S4, but more mature and ready for a romantic relationship. Can't wait to watch her bloom.

Grace - FB I will never forgive you for not making her a LI. I want her, those curves just *chefs kiss*. But honestly, if anyone's gonna be my bestie, I'm feeling it ith Grace. Yeah, she seems to like Ozzy, but she doesn't seem like the type to get her claws in and latch on for dear life a la Kat or Hope. Let's just hope and pray and beg that they're not making a brown girl villain again.

Ivy - I told y'all from the moment I saw her that I didn't trust this bitch. She looks too much like my cousin and my cousin is a backstabbing skank. I'm loving the concept of her though, this super type-A girl who (I almost guarantee) is either going to a) get kicked out early for being too picky, or b) have the most beautiful redemption arc where she ends up with a guy who ticks exactly zero of her boxes but she falls for him anyway. However, given Fusebox's history, I'm gonna predict she's the villain for about 2 days, then gets booted, same as Lexi from S4.

Jamal - Boys with J names 🚩... but honestly he seems nice. He's my backup LI at the moment. I'll see how things go with my #1 and might start again with Jamal instead. I think you're gonna get some wonderfully steamy scenes with this one. He's giving Bobby x Arjun, and that is something that deeply appeals to me. Cheeky, cheeky, cheeky. He's a saucy little minx and he's gonna be trouble, I just know it. Love his design, love his character so far, really happy.

Lewie - I thought he was a little baby-faced to start with, but honestly, I look at him and my brain screams husband. I'm getting Bruno x Gary x Ciaran from this one, and oh dear me, if that's not a combo that makes me swoon IDK what is. Love him so far, he's such a sweetheart but I love a footy lad.

Ozzy - I'm suspicious. I know he's already captured a few peoples' attention, but I was a little dismissive with him and he seemed a bit... red flag-y. Just a little too arrogant, you know? A little too flirtatious for someone who's very aware of how into him Grace is. I did like that he'd never had a one night stand though, although not sure how that meshes with the celebrity he apparently hooked up with in the dance studio? Because in the challenge he said he'd never dated a celebrity, but he also said he's never had a one night stand, so did he have a celebrity FWB????? The stories just aren't adding up to me. I don't trust him. Also his jaw's too sharp. And his flirty face looks like Rocco from S2. This one:

LBFAD rewatch observations part 9

1. His little touched expression when Xiao Run says "whats mine is yours, my friends are your friends" 🥺

2. Both of them feeling confused and guilty about Xiao Run and Lady Wanqing and naturally gravitating towards each other. Her saying "I'm in bad moood, chat with me." Him telling her I understand your feelings, I'm feeling them as well. Aahhh. Cutie patooties. 🥰

3. XLH hugging Danyin after realizing it was her because she had missed her!! "This expression, this tone, you used when you used to bully me eeeekkkk!!" *happy baby*

4. Danyin posessing the only brain cell in the entire Mortal Realm Arc and immediately saying "What, why the heck would Xiao Run kill his bride? With his personality? You dum dums planned your whole game on this ?!?"

5. Danyin really said "Gurl I will cut you! Don't test me." And I love her for that.

6. Ronghao using all his master manipulation tricks to guilt Xiao Lanhua but her still hesitating and being brave enough to say "DFQC is not a bad person". 🥺🥺 And it wasn't the threat to Changheng's life or Lady Wanqing's life that finally breaks through to her. It was when Ronghao reveals that DFQC plans on releasing the soldiers to wage war against Shuiyuntian that we begin to see her mind shift. The concept of "one person vs all people" really is at the core of her. (also it was the fact that DFQC lied to her that further pushes her...but gurl you lied too -__-)

7. Earlier, her telling him: "He is Xiao Run not Changeheng, he is not your enemy." And then later when she says I thought you and Xiao Run were friends now! and his reply of "Yes. He is Xiao Run. Not Changheng." *chefs kissess* 🤌🏼🤌🏼

8. Im gonna lose my mind. DFQC yelling at Shangque to find Lady Wanqing and Xiao Run and make sure no mistake happens because Lady Chidi's spirit is the most important thing right now. And then LITERALLY 5 SECOND LATER he kills Lady Wanqing without a second thought because she was about to kill XLH. THIS MAN. THISS MANSSS. He really just says "Xiao Lanhua >>>>>>" over and over and over again.

Mike wheeler's interactions with food

👾sorry for spelling mistakes I'm dyslexic👾

Not only will this be based on what we see in the show (mostly s4) but will also include my experiences as a guy with a diagnosed restrictive eating disorder(EDNOS), how this relates to Mike's potential autism and how eating disorders are more common amongst queer men then cishet men. Obvious tw for eating disorders, disordered eating, selfhate, stereotypes ect...

In s1 we see Mike putting syrup on his scrambled eggs, something Nancy deems 'disgusting' and no one else at the table has done the same thing. These kind of 'wierd' food combinations are very typical for autistic people and are linked to developing eating disorders like ARFID. After this we don't really see Mike interacting with food until season 4, although we do see Mike is decently exited to eat some snacks Will brought to the cinema and his break up with El(keep this in mind).

👾season 4👾

The first interaction with food in s4 is Mike hurrying to school and quickly making some toast to take with him. We don't see him eat this toast nor etempt too like taking a bite or holding it in his mouth while he does something else, we do however see an expression of concern on Karen's face. He did this so his parents would see him taking food to 'eat'.

At lunch we see Mike has food but doesn't eat any and at the hellfire meeting everyone except Mike has mounting dew. Saying we give Mike the benefit of the doubt that he doesn't like that particular pop why wouldn't he have brought another drink?

In the episode were he reunites with El and Will at the airport we see food mentioned a few times. At the mention of getting burritos Mike seems to panic a bit, quickly turning his head to meet her and his voice is slightly higher pitched. The only thing we see him consume the whole episode is a milkshake that we don't even know if he finished, though this does make sense as liquids are easer for most people with a restrictive ED to eat(well, drink haha). Yet again Will is present but so is El, he's trying to keep up a look of normality and being a good boyfriend.

Back at the byers Mike still eats no solid food, instead he only picks at the risotto. Typically there's 2 ways people with eating disorders respond to stress: over eating or restricting. Everyone else is eating despite the stress of the day because their coping mechanisms don't involve food whereas Mike's does, he fall into the second category of restricting when under stress.

The next day Mike still hasn't eaten any solids. I personally find myself doing the same thing so I may be projecting a bit but when under stress to the point I don't eat I will continue to not eat even if I'm no longer too stressed out. This gives me a sense of control over the whole situation and eating would be braking that control and making me stressed again creating a cycle, and it's this very cycle that seems to have a hold on Mike. At breakfast he just picks at his food instead of eating before taking Els egos up to her. This not only allows him to try and apologise but also doesn't make him look strange for not eating infront of Will who looks notably concerned.

When pizza is ordered it's unclear if anyone eats some. In the dessert Mike has some pop and yet again it's unclear how much he drinks.

At the surfer boy pizza Mike still hasn't eaten until Argyle brings out a pineapple pizza, Mike rejects this saying he doesn't like pineapple on pizza (this scene made me laugh because I've done the EXACT same thing to avoid eating before💀) while he may be telling the truth it still doesn't make sense for him to not eat it as he presumably hasn't eaten for 24 hours or at the very least around 8. Unless he has a major aversion to pineapple on pizza like sensory issues, he's hiding his hunger.

👾why would Mike have an eating disorder/other👾

DISCLAIMER: I am in no way shape or form think you need to be thin or unweight to have a restrictive ED. I have,in the 3 years I've had EDs,fluctuated between anorexia, BED, bulimia and EDNOS and have only been underweight once in my honeymoon phase. Your ED is valid no matter your size💖

The media uses stereotypes as they are the easiest for the general public to understand, this is especially common with eating disorders. To the bone, my skinny sister, starving in suburbia, girl intrupted are all popular media staring people with restrictive eating disorders, and a common factor all these characters have is being skinny white girls. Mike (obviously) isn't a girl so that alone would make his ED harder for the general public to understand or sympathise with so they really need to show the key factor of his thinness. The team chose to put Mike in clothes that would show his body like shorts and short sleeve Tees. Even his jeans are made to accentuate the fact Mike is under weight as they clearly aren't made to be baggy yet still sag. The directors/script writers even go as far as to have Angela refer to Mike as a twig.

Expectations for alt and queer men overlap and always have. While there's obvious differences a more common then not factor is thinness and flamboyance, Mike clearly isn't willing to be flamboyant (mostly likely due to his parents political vues and potential internlisedhomophobia) but the physical look is something he can achieve. This links into...

Mike doesn't like himself. Even in s1 we see him being bullied for his appearance and his dad's, Ted wheeler, indirect criticism of him. We also see Mike attempts to emulate Eddie munson -who is bold in style and visibly queer- someone who Mike isn't like especially visually. When he goes to california he wears what he thinks will make him fit in and (presumably) be more what El and Will are used to. In both situations he's changing himself.

Mike is obviously traumatised. He's watched his best friend be possessed, be in excruciating pain screaming out for him and almost die. He's watched Bob get ripped to shreads by demo dogs, seen literal monsters made of human flash, been knocked out by another possessed person and SO much more. His eating is really the only thing he can control.

Will is there almost every time Mike eats/drinks something. This suggests he's either trying to be 'normal' infront of Will and to not worry him or Will is a safe person that makes him feel comfortable enough to do so, probably a mix of both.

👾EDs presenting differently in AMAB people, Mike's potential eating disorder👾

EDs typically start young, even still amab people tend to develop them in their teens to early adults. This is due to the physical expectations we are exposed to, slender yet muscler men who are so tall they could touch a ceiling with no effort who sport angular jaw lines and get equally as 'perfect' girls in abundance. Amab people (specifically guys) tend to develop EDs like orthorexia, EDNOS, bigorexia and bulimia (which is the most common ED among gay men). Eating disorders aren't as talked about in guys let alone in the 80s so Mike's efforts at hiding his ED would be different compared to a girls, while his parents may be concerned about him I doubt an eating disorder comes to mind. Lifting/exercise culture also influences us, the fact its almost expected of guys to be bulking or cutting food at any given time is basically the equivalent of girls expected to be on a diet, guys are also expected to have that 'teen boy metabolism/thinness' and if you don't fit into this it really messes you up.

Mike isn't sporty and this is made VERY clear, he's built like a string bean, he's the stereotype of a nerd, and he's shown no interest in sports. This imo is enough evidence to rule out bigorexia(and disorders like it) and orthorexia as we don't see him once etempt to be healthy with food or exercise. There's also no signs that Mike purges (no puffy cheeks, blisters on nuckles, no laxatives seen and ofc no exercise) so I'll also take bulimia of the potential ED list. This leaves us with the 2 most likely candidates of EDNOS and anorexia . We see him heavily restrict food and not eating under stress except this isn't constant, in s3 after his brake up with El ,Mike is eating a can of crisps to himself (maby the start of a binge) and he presumably eats in the cinema. S3 may have shown a period of normal eating or it may be that his eating disorder didn't start until the byers and El left Hawkins. With this information I personally think Mike could be anorexic!

You were wondering why all this confessions were happening you went pass the school auditorium to see the entrance decorated with hearts and flowers and with the letters cut my glitter paper 'HAPPY VALENTINES 1 more day before valentine's and 4 more days to our valentine's dance!'...

You were listening to more music peacefully copying down some notes you missed, sitting near a beautiful tree. You saw todoroki running towards you like he have some very serious news.. you got up bcz u felt like you should.

He reached you and started panting like a dog (kinda ho- no no gurl no NO!)

He calmed down and said "y/n everytime I see you my hot side cheek started to feel warm and what's weird is the same happens to my cold side cheek, and when you compliment me when I win a training fight I feel like someone punches my stomach and when you do something like a simple thing like talking to me I get heart attacks and it's like it my hearts trying to break free" he said I love you in a big speech but It wasn't and I love you for you the way he described it made it sound like he hates you.

"that's really dum-" you heard a knock on your door your father and mother were out so you got a little scared you looked outside through your opened window hesitantly to see pokéball themed hair, and a big (when I say big ITS BIG DARLING) bouquet of your favourite flowers as you looked closer you realized it was todoroki "TODOROKI?!?" you slapped your mouth and hoped that he didn't hear you sudden vomit of words. He looked up at you as you blushed slightly "would you care to come down please, and accept these flowers and chocolates as a gift of my apologies to you?" He said charmingly "why the hell would I do that you hate me don't you do you think a bunch a flowers are gonna make me forgive you?!" You said loudly so he can hear "please, it's just a few words please ..." He asked in such a cute way. Your enemybor (your enemy neighbor) looked at you madly through their window, you felt a little awkward feeling and came to the thought of taking Todo inside. You ran downstairs and opened the door for todoroki "I'm not letting you in cause I feel bad for you it's because of the neighbors stares." You said sternly. "Look y/n-" he got cut off "oh, shut up please.." you said angrily "please y/n" he pleaded with innocent poppy dog eyes. "fine, better be a good explain" you rolled you eyes. He took a deep breath in "I meant to say how I feel around you but it came out wrong the guy punching my stomach was meant to be called butterflies I just described them in my sense I'm really sorry" he bowed to you and bent in his knees and said " please, y/n I need you in my life I'd rather die without you please all I meant to say is I love you" he handed you the big bouquet of expensive flowers. "Are you for real I'm so happy! I love you soo much todo-kun I'm really sorry too!" You said happily taking the flowers from him. "that's great, do you want to go to the dance? "No we should watch a movie and stay in our home comfort wrapped in a blanket enjoying each other's presence while others suffer in itchy uncomfy costumes in the dance!" You confessed you idea and todoroki happily agreed and then you sat next to each other and talked about you lives

As you were feeding yourselves the chocolate todoroki brought shoto got reminded of something important "by the way, here's your notebook you left it in school I went through it, you spelled my name wrong in the 3rd sentence of your poem." he said while hiding his face away from you and rubbing his neck "Have your mom not told you to no to go through people stuff?!?" You said embarrassed while forming into the cutest beetroot "no but, my mom thought me how dangerous and hot a kettle can be besides you my girl friend now." He said innocently "oh, you sweetheart Todo" you said while petting his head "oh no... It's happening again y/n.... it's doing it again." he said as concern was all over his face "why?!? Listen I support evil young women (Edelgard, 1/4 of the Carmen Sandiego 2019 cast, a few Jojo girls, etc) but Franziska just. Is not it. i was thinking about this scene in Thor 1 where Loki finds out that they're adopted, and something came to my mind

do you remember this line Loki says to Odin, that even if Odin pretented to love them, they didn't wanted them to be King because they were a Frost Giant ?

well the beginning of the line is "because no matters how much you claim to love me"

i've never really paid attention to that before, but actually it is an interesting line, because we all know that Loki never felt loved by their father, that they tought Odin didn't care about them, and here, they said that Odin claims to love them.

for me, Odin could totally be this kind of father that totally don't know how to show their affection for their children (yes, i do think Odin loved his children. He was a terrible father and an asshole on many points, yes, but he did love his son, his daughter and his child who is both) on a personal way, by telling them, hugging them, having kind words with them etc. But he was rich, a god and a king. So he could be this kind of rich father that never show any love to their children (and especially Loki) but who tells to everyone how he loves his child, who spend a lot of richess so everyone can see how much this child (and his children in general) are important to him etc... so all Asgard was like "wow, what a great dad", but Loki never felt loved because it wasn't what they needed. They needed their father to show them that they loved them on a personal way. They needed affection and recognization. They needed true demonstration of their father love.

we could also say that Odin never loved Loki and was just pretending to love them in front of his people but i don't belive it. I am not an "Odin apologist" or anything, but i'm just saying that Odin is just a man, so he had many, many and many flaws (i really don't like him. really) but he was not 100% bad.

and i think it's a good thing that Loki, in the Loki series, understood that (og Loki understood it too, but it isn't really said, except for that part where before they died, they say they are "Odinson"). when they talk to Sylvie in the Void, they say that they "betrayed everyone who ever LOVED me" and they add their father to the list of the people they betrayed. there are some other proof of that in the show, but you see what i mean. Loki understood that their father loved them, but wasn't just good at parenting and didn't know how to show it.

i still think Odin shouldn't just get away with it. he has things to say to Loki, things he should do etc, because he made a lot of mistakes with them and is responsible for a lot of things.

but, Loki made peace with their father, and it's a good thing

You definitely reminded me of some key points in season 3 that I definitely didn’t consider.

The château being burned down by topper seal the deal of him becoming an enemy. It would be EXTREMELY hard to see topper having a redemption story after that with some corny BS line like “ hey John b no hard feelings with the château, right?”💀💀💀

But just a warning 👀 if you hear Sarah’s voice starting off a epsiode with a reflective monologue of confusion and indecisiveness, then You know what’s coming 😂 let’s see if the pates intentionally screw us over with her character growth.

I agree with Jarah B being the stable couple as the other couples are still fresh and have some more exploring to do with their dynamic. I would love to see a bond created between JJ and Mike maybe closer to the end of season 4 to show Mike he can be the guy for kie and mike should give him a chance just like he was given one before he got accepted into the kooks.. we’ll seeeeee

LETS BE HONEST Ward created a monster with rafe. But rafe mistakes EAT HIM UP ALIVE which is why he is heavy on drugs. I still remember him crying because Barry didn’t have any coke for him one day and he freaked out. Rafe is a lunatic but not a serial killer. Which is why he went back to save Ward after putting a hit man on him. Rafe wants real acceptance! His problem is he always tries to fix his mistakes last minute.

Rafe isn’t a kook because of the luxury lifestyle. He’s a kook because of power and validation. Unlike topper who is a silver spoon fed kid with no siblings. Just a spoiled single child.

If the JJ and rafe fight happens. I think it’s early in the season. I don’t think they’ll make it a big ordeal. I feel like the Pogue gang will have bigger fish to fry by the end of the season if they’re on a new treasure hunt.

oooooh okay this is such an interesting topic, Rafe is such an interesting character to begin with, so i think his storyline in s4 is the one i'm most curious about. especially since we got nothing from him in the s3 finale for whatever dumb reason.

this is a very complex conversation to have, but to start, i don't think i want a redemption for Rafe! and i think they kind of closed the door on him sacrificing himself for the pogues or Sarah in particular by having Ward do it in season 3. i truly don't know how far they're gonna go with him seeking revenge on the pogues for Ward's death, or what they plan on doing with his character after this season, but whatever it is, i just don't see him turning a new leaf by the end of it. the ending for Rafe i'd most like to see is him going to jail and losing all of his assets and possessions, including Tannyhill, so Pope can snatch it up and make it a museum that tells the true story of Denmark Tanny. but i'm getting ahead of myself, let's talk about the really juicy stuff

do Rafe's actions eat him up anymore? i definitely agree that in the first 2 seasons, he was an absolute wreck trying to hold himself together with coke and by desperately seeking Ward's validation to keep himself occupied. but what about in season 3? he has that scene with Kie in episode 2 where he tries to paint himself as the victim for killing Peterkin, and i think that his denial truly runs that deep at this point. through spinning the story in his own mind, he's convinced himself that he did the right thing so he doesn't have to feel all the complicated emotions that we saw him feeling at the end of season 1 and even into season 2 in the aftermath of the murder. but in terms of Sarah, he does actually get emotional when he explains that he knows it was wrong, which is incredibly interesting to me. he clearly hasn't done the same mental gymnastics in trying to defend himself for that, so i could definitely see him genuinely feeling remorseful, which opens up that same incredibly complex dynamic that he and Sarah have had for a while now. there's a part of him that will always resent her for being Ward's favorite for so long, but now we can see that there is real guilt about trying to kill her. i think that scene really captures the pure instability of Rafe's mental state that still exists in some capacity, mainly in terms of Sarah, which we unfortunately don't see a ton of moving forward in the season since he barely has any scenes with the pogues. in general, he actually seems pretty confident and secure, maybe the best we've ever seen him, in terms of his mental and emotional state. so is the guilt really bothering him that much? the coke doesn't seem to be a coping mechanism for him like it had been before, like he was constantly using for the majority of season 2. but we just didn't see him struggling with his past actions in season 3, it was much more about his present and especially his future.

but for season 4, i'm definitely expecting a return to the more unstable side of Rafe as he plots revenge. who will he target in particular? who does he think is most responsible? will he choose to leave the other pogues out of the crossfire? if he gets the chance to kill Sarah again, would he take it? if he really was remorseful at the beginning of season 3, has that been overtaken by rage by the beginning of season 4? the year and a half time jump makes this much trickier cause maybe he's been trying to keep his mind off of it and do his own thing and resist the urge to get revenge but when he hears about the pogues getting recognition for their findings, it sends him off the deep end again? or has he been stewing the entire time? has the time given his rage the chance to simmer down a bit or has it only boiled over into something worse? now that he has the blessing of his father, which is the only thing he's ever really wanted, what are his motivations? how will he shift his way of thinking now that there's no more Ward to aspire to or to spite, and how will his mental state fare now that he believes that the pogues have taken away any opportunity he might've had to mend his relationship with his father?

there's truly so many things to consider and countless different avenues that his path could take, and i really do not know what is most likely at this point!! Drew hasn't even gotten to set yet so there's absolutely no bts to speculate about either. personally, i love Rafe as a character and i don't wanna see him killed off, and like i said before, although he expresses remorse in 3x02, i'm not sure if it's gonna be enough moving forward. i've always been interested in his character and have never shied away from the fact that Ward absolutely aided in fucking him up for life, BUT i just don't know if Rafe himself thinks he needs redeeming. and i especially don't know if he'll be thinking in that way in the aftermath of Ward's death.

but really, who knows???? i'm voting squarely against a redemption or any kind of sacrifice, but god, i am so so so intrigued to see where the pates take him.

I think this is quite common, people who are friends mistake friendships for romantic feelings or lust gets in the way and things become complicated. I'm glad Y/N and HJ realized it early on. Neither of them was a bad person, they just had an idealized vision of one another like you said, so no surprise it didn't work out. I think they were both too similar and too different if that makes sense.

I see, the grip fuck/bad boys have on many writers is very strong 😀 I don't mind this trope if they're not just a walking red flag from the beginning to the end and Y/Ns know how to stand their ground. ETL can be very very good, that's why I gravitated towards Blacklist after all. In the end, it doesn't matter how you start, but how you finish. So Blacklist turned out nice in my opinion.

and honestly. some ppl r just better off as friends, which is why when they try to give a relationship a go and it doesn't work out, they end up resenting one another. speaking from experience. had hongjoong and y/n gave it a go (which tbh i did considered making them actually get together at one point) they wouldn't have worked out anyways. so their downfall was truly a blessing in disguise.
