LBFAD Rewatch Part 11:

1. The way he can't even LOOK at her as he tells her "I knew this was a dream from the beginning " 😭😭😭😭

2. XLH's master reeling in her two boyfriends with bait. Like "come here you poor miserable little fishies. I got some juicy worms for you."

3. idc how epic of an intro you get Lady Arbiter and her little pet dragon, YOU DONT JUST HIT MY BOY DFQC LIKE THAT. NO. *angry glares* Also my poor baby just closing his eyes and bracing for it like "ah shit here we go again". Him thinking he just deserves it 😭🥺 Can he just have a break plz.

4. "So she has been saving me since we first met. And I have been hurting her." 🥺🥺🥺

5. Changheng: The splitting process is very painful. No matter what you must persevere.

DFQC who has been through every torture life could throw at him: -_- Bro. I got this.

6. DFQC as soon as Changheng leaves: *cue music* I am in my plant parent, cottage core, countryside girlie era. I am gonna be so full of love you will have to come back to me.

7. If he doesn't plant you like a seed, carry you around in a pot like a baby, water you with freshly collected dew with gentle drops, take you for morning sunrise walks, talk to you continuously, and watch over you even while sleeping, he ain't it. WHY WAS THIS SO ROMANTIC. SHE IS LITERALLY IN A POT OF DIRT AND I AM GUSHING OVER THE ROMANCE. No one is doing it like them.

8. XLH having to create straight up physical barriers between her and DFQC so that he can't come close enough to see that emotionally she's barely holding on. How his pleading eyes and sweet apologies are two seconds away from making her cry. She can barely even muster anger towards him.

9. The bridge scene: *exists*

10. I knowwww its stupid and breaks her entire plan of keeping him in the dark and is a totally senseless move on her part BUT I LOVE THAT SHE CANT RESIST AT THE END. THAT LITTLE GESTURE SHE DOES TO MAKE HIM SMILE. THE WAY SHE CANNOT PHYSICALLY STOP HERSELF FROM SAYING "PLEASE SMILE PLEASE BE OKAY I AM DOING THIS FOR YOU I NEED YOU TO BE OKAY"

11. DFQC: For her, I will alter fate.

13. DFQC: There is nothing in this world that can shake me.

Rewatching ep. 27 of Love Between Fairy and Devil:

I still can't believe DFQC gave Xiao Lanhua permission to talk with Changheng privately. If that doesn't show growth, I don't know what does

Of course he was burning inside but still

"My affection for you is gratitude and appreciation." I am sorry, Changheng, but you got friendzoned

I like Changheng a lot, but I won't lie, I was so happy when I heard her say these words. She finally admits her feelings

DFQC is so worried, but no he'll play it cool

Shangque, don't answer him! It is a trap. Jieli is right, you are silly *facepalm* Why on earth did you trust him with that piece of information?

LBFAD rewatch observations part 3

1. "Why should I care about the likes and dislikes of a small flower spirit" when she says she's glad he is gone 🥺🥺🥺 Babbyyy was already feeling it eh.

2. XLH immediately being able to empathize with him and compare her 1000 years of loneliness with his 10 000 years of loneliness 🥺🥺🥺🥺 Babbyy. Her being upset that he left without a goodbye and then the little softening of his expression >>>> "I HAVE DIED EVERY DAY WAITING FOR YOUUUU" indeeeeed. My fave song fits my fave couple sooo much.

3. "From now on I will collect this for you" . It wasn't a one time thing! He did this every morning for her? Sir? The bar is through the roof.

4. The way he hesitates and the look he gives her and the curious hopeful look she gives him before he blows on the water reluctantly to cool it down 😭😭😭😭 He really thought "am I gonna do this. Mighty Benzuo gonna blow on this little flower's water for her. God Im gonna do it aren't I *sigh* "

5. "Why are you back so late? I left your dinner in the kitchen. Go get it yourself I am going to bed." They are married your honor.

6. Wait have they been translating as Eternal Fire always? Or was it Hellfire? Did I just not notice...

7. DFQC's expressions while studying the Xilan scroll to care for his little flower is me trying to study for my exam for the 100th time. " *sigh* okay what now...here we go again *eye roll* so done with this " and then immediately giving myself a pep talk too "I can do everything in this world. This? How can it be difficult for me?" Yass gurl lezz go you got this.

8. DFQC being able to come and go wherever he pleases in Shuiyuntian and no one can even see him is such a superpower. I need that.

9. XLH running and leaving DFQC to fend for himself 🤝 XLH immediately running back and shielding herself behind DFQC. 😆 Love her.

10. Him turning her head with one hand to face the sun is me to my plants when I rotate them. Like "aight you, little one, you need to face this way you lil bum. Get some sun or you will die."

11. God them watching the sunrise and that BGM is just so beautiful. And the softest expression on his face. 🥺

12. DFQC on his little rant about the Fairy realm: XLH not listening, in complete bliss: XLH: Daqiang, thank you *purest smile* DFQC mid rant: and I- *record scratch sound* *head empty, no thoughts, just, her* *soft stare*

13. "In the three realms nobody is worse than me" *smirk* "You even strive to be the top in that" "I'm the worst one, no need to strive for it" *pout* I love a competitive king. Stan.

14. This mans making the most disgusting looking (and tasting) flower soup and asking her very intently "is it good" is me making any food and asking again and again "was it okay? was it good? it was good right?" Also how did he not FEEEL her disgust at the soup through the curse 😆 Unless her feelings of joy at his care were stronger than her feelings of disgust at the soup. 😄

15. Can we talk about how soft he is with her after Danyin hurts her. Like from the minute he becomes visible again his expressions his body language is so tender and caring. The little frown on his face when he looks down at her like "my lil floof is sad and down come here". The way he picks her up and gently asks "are you afraid of her?" His immediate offer to take care of it for her 😭😭😭😭😭 WHERE IS MY DFQC. We all deserve a DFCQ in our lives.

16. Changheng really said "I can give you the stars" and did (Firefly Stone) but poor boy stood no chance. XLH said thanks but I got the Moon. Bye.

Rewatching ep.28 of Love Between Fairy and Devil and having some *cough* strong emotions

Part 1 (because I have a lot to talk about)

(spoilers ahead)

Um, what does that butterfly do to Shangque?

Shangque, baby, no, no, no, no, don't do this to yourself

I can never get tired of Canglan sea visuals

So Jieli has to keep taking an antidote every three days? I had totally forgotten about that. I try to find reasons to justify Ronghao’s actions – apart from him being a total snack – and I am sorry but I fail

Oh, my baby is at the bridge. She is so happy! I was so happy too when I first watched this scene. If only I knew

Look how happy he is too! He is finally smiling naturally. So excited that he will meet Xiao Lanhua at the bridge

But hey, will his brother let him be happy? Noooooooo. Little brat

Btw, if I was Dongfang Qingcang and people were outside my palace messing with my personal life, I wouldn’t have kept my cool

This whole scene of people asking him to kill Xiao Lanhua, is causing me nausea, and I wish I was kidding

But I have to pause and admire DFQC’s costume and the light. He looks majestic and there has never been a scene where he looks more a King than this one – I think

For a moment there I thought he was going to burn them all and I got excited. But he just used like one of the last three remaining blasts of hellfire to half destroy a pillar

Xunfeng, seriously, please get a hobby, do something else with your life other than trying to ruin your brother’s life – yes, I am angry, very angry

DFQC is way calmer than I could ever be. He explains eloquently why Xiao Lanhua is the best and how he has helped him. He has come such a long way

I hate though that the kingdom learns first that he loves her and wants to marry her before she does

Awwwweeee, he wanted to prepare the greatest wedding for her. Now I am sad. We never got to see that wedding. Petition for a season 2 to see the wedding

Question: DFQC realized in Lucheng that Xiao Lanhua is the goddess of Xishan. Why doesn’t he reveal this information now to stop them from b*tching about her being a fairy?

Xiao Lanhua is waiting at the bridge

Oh now, you are all “Please think twice” and you act like you care for your brother. You exhaust me, Xunfeng

Xiao Lanhua is still waiting and it’s night now

Oh no, not the scene with the spikes. Not my baby. I am not emotionally ready. Nooooooooo

I had not prepared any tissues – I am keeping them for ep. 31 – but I feel like I will need them. Damn, it's so much harder to watch this scene for the second time. I don’t want anyone hurting them, I can’t!

And they keep on hitting the spike over and over and over again. *trying not to cry*

Xiao Lanhua is still waiting. I mean they could have done that with the spikes the next day. Let them have a romantic night for crying out loud

Aaaawe, he arrived. My heart.

This should have been the most romantic scene of the show, not one of the most heartbreaking scenes *pouting*

Their first kiss as a couple *melting*

Love how she pulls away and he still wants to kiss. Not sure if that was in the script *wink wink*

Why did her bracelet do that sparkle thingy? What did that mean? Why now?

Poor DFQC and poor Xiao Lanhua

I hadn’t realized on my first watch that he created thunder. So, Xiao Lanhua knew exactly how he felt

He went through all this excruciating pain and he still thinks of keeping her warm

Awe the marriage proposal. Finally something cheerful. I love that he had planned to have the proposal the day after they would hang the locks at the bridge. Who knew he would be so romantic *heart shaped eyes*

Xiao Lanhua is all like I don’t care about the treasures and stuff, but look, I made you this grass bracelet, will you marry me? She always has a way to subvert his expectations, right?

Oh come on, Xunfeng, let them kiss! I wanted to end this part on a good note, but you just had to show up like a fart during a date

Stopping here and pretending Xunfeng never happened. They just got engaged, grass bracelet and all, they are happy and ready to kiss.

Part 2 coming soonish (depending on my blood pressure I guess)
