no joke but what I really want for Buddy Daddies as a fandom is to make fanart and fanfic post present time ep12 where Rei wears an arm orthosis when working.

I think varied disability aids being represented would be fantastic, and personally would write Rei as someone being deeply proud of something he's done for his family, but also understanding with time that using an orthosis also helps him at work and in raising Miri. with a giant portion of mobility/motorics aids being represented by prosthetics, seeing more variety and exploring it in fiction would also help making a step in normalising disability treatments.

It's January 22, 2023 and I'm logging out of this account. I'm not sure if/when I'll log back in but I won't be deleting it. This blog and its contents mean too much to me to send it into the ether.

Thank you to everyone who's followed along with the asks or reblogged the memes or helped me think my way through ideas that I was just starting to form.

Thank you to the AO3 volunteers who helped me answer your questions (and corrected me when I made mistakes). Thank you to my fellow fans who shared their perspectives on my posts. I've learned a lot from all of you.

It feels weird to make a goodbye post, but I think it would feel weirder to just... disappear. So I'll say farewell for now, and I wish you all well. No doubt we'll meet again on the Archive or somewhere else ❤️
