... maybe, just maybe, if you cannot get any maintenance or safety staff to work any given shift voluntarily, you either need to seriously reconsider the circumstances they're working under and the wages they're paid or you need to not run whatever you're running during those specific shifts

Meet me in the afterglow
Jamie Tartt x f!reader
Words: 2,7k
Warnings: language, a bit of angst (with a happy ending this time)
A/n: part 2 for Tell me that I’m all you want 🫢
Tumblr media
Jamie has never been more excited for the pre-season. The weather in London is delightful today, the sun is shining and the temperature is at that perfect level of warmth where it doesn’t feel too hot. He’s back at Nelson Road Stadium, right where he belongs. No funny business this year. Jamie’s smiling cheerfully as he’s walking down the very familiar corridors, holding a cup holder with two cups of coffee in his hand. He strides into your office, and you smile brightly at him, putting your work aside and giving Jamie your full attention. You happily slip back into your routine.
Jamie had barely seen you during the off-season. If you weren’t working, you were somewhere away with Jason. You’d been to, like, four different countries in five weeks, living your best life. Vacation definitely suits you – you look so radiant and well-rested. Your hair is wavier than usual, your skin is glowing, and your posture is relaxed. Aren’t you a sight for sore eyes?
“I’ve missed this,” you say after fifteen minutes of chatter and giggles, and Jamie grins at you. “Almost as much as I missed this,” you add, smugly bringing the coffee cup to your lips. Jamie rolls his eyes but laughs nevertheless. God, he missed this too.
The blissful happiness doesn’t last long. Jamie doesn’t care much about what people say on the Internet, even if it’s everyone predicting that Richmond will get relegated again because it’s just poop-eh, yeah?
But then there’s something else.
“Did you know that Roy and Keeley broke up?” Jamie all but burst into your office.
You mimic zipping your mouth and throwing away the key.
“Oh, come on!” Jamie flops on the chair in front of you and sighs dramatically.
You shrug, unaffected. “How’s Roy doing?”
“Well, I promised not to say anything either!” Jamie crosses his arms determinedly.
Jamie doesn’t know whether it’s a lawyer thing or just a you thing, but he’s pretty sure that one stern look from you can make him spill all of his deepest secrets. So, predictably, you just raise one eyebrow, and it’s enough convincing for him to start talking.
After a short conversation, you agree that it’s a sad turn of events because Roy and Keeley were really good together.
“You and Jason are good?” Jamie asks because it feels fitting. He’s somewhat made peace with the fact that you’re in love with someone else. As long as you’re happy.
“Yeah, we’re good,” you smile.
It only gets worse from there.
Jamie is in your office the first thing after he hears that Zava might be joining the team because if someone knew anything about signing a new player, that would be you. You say that it’s just something that Rebecca wants, but it is very unlikely to happen. That is, until it does.
“Who the fuck signs a contract with ‘you’re welcome’?!”
Usually Jamie doesn’t like it when you’re mad, but nothing is more comforting for him than knowing that he has your support in his disliking for Zava. He becomes almost a permanent resident at your office. Every day, it’s “Zava this” and “Zava that”. Reminds you of the time when Roy first rejoined Richmond as a coach and refused to coach Jamie…
On the upside, Richmond is on a four-week winning streak. Like Zava or not, you’ve gotta admit that he is a hella good player. Before you can even finish that sentence out loud, the look on Jamie’s face is one of full-on betrayal. You roll your eyes, the fragile male ego.
“At least I'm still your favorite player,” Jamie declares self-assuredly.
“I'm sorry, at what point did I ever say that you are my favorite player?” you sneer at him, crossing your arms.
“It’s implied!”
“Aah,” you nod in faux agreement.
“So who is it then? It can’t be Zava.” Jamie will jump off a cliff.
“Lewandowski.”
Jamie shrugs, “Fair enough, he’s fucking great. I can be second after him.”
“See, that’s funny, because I don’t remember saying that you’re my second favorite either,” you say with an amused smile on your face.
“Oh, fuck off!”
Things haven’t been going really well for Richmond ever since that match against West Ham, they haven’t won a match for four weeks now. Needless to say, it was a little bit depressing. There is something else bothering Jamie, though. You’ve been acting weird lately, distant. You weren’t at the match last week, you told Jamie you couldn't hang out twice in one week, and when the third time you finally agreed, it seemed like your mind was somewhere else the whole evening. He gets that you want to spend time with your boyfriend, but Jamie wants some scraps of your time too! It takes you hours to reply to his texts, and even when he comes to your office during the day, it feels like even having a simple conversation with Jamie costs you effort. You just seem tired in general.
Jamie has been quietly sitting in your office for five minutes, waiting for you to finish whatever it is you are so busy doing. Not knowing what to do, he takes your coffee cup and takes a sip.
He grimaces in disgust. “What is this?!”
“Triple espresso,” you answer without looking away from your laptop.
No milk, no syrups, no joy, nothing.
“That’s disgusting.”
“Then don’t drink it,” you snatch the cup back.
“Not getting enough sleep?” Jamie smirks and wiggles his eyebrows at you.
The look on your face just screams that you don’t find it funny one bit and can’t wait to be done with this conversation.
Jamie’s shoulders slump, “Are you mad at me?”
“For what, hurting my coffee’s feelings?”
“I don’t know! But you’ve been acting weird! You always say you’re busy, you don’t reply to my texts, you don’t make fun of my outfit choices, and I wore a jacket with shorts yesterday.”
“The fact that you know that it’s something I would make fun of you for means that my job here is done.”
“It was raining for the whole day two days in a row, and you didn’t even complain!”
“It’s London, it’s always raining.”
“And you always complain!” He’s got a point there.
Jamie looks genuinely worried, and you didn't mean to upset him at all. You sigh weary. “It’s not you. It’s just– I needed some me-time.” Jamie keeps looking at you, waiting for you to continue. “Jason and I broke up.”
Well, that was unexpected. Jamie doesn’t really know what to say. His previous attempt at post-breakup comforting wasn’t exactly successful.
“What happened?”
“Nothing happened,” you say apathetically. “Sometimes people are just not right for each other.”
“I thought you guys were great.”
“Yeah, me too,” there’s a very bittersweet tone to your voice.
“Why didn’t you say anything?”
“Because I don’t wanna talk about it.”
Jamie gets the hint. There’s only one thing that he wants to know anyway. “Are you okay?”
“Yeah, I’m fine.” That doesn’t sound very convincing even for yourself, and judging by Jamie’s skeptical look, it doesn’t for him either. “I will be,” you rectify, feeling a lot more sincere now.
His own selfish feelings aside, Jamie never really wished for you and Jason to break up (well, maybe except for the first, like, two weeks), and with you clearly being upset about it, Jamie doesn’t have it in him to feel pleased or hopeful about the fact. What you need right now is a friend, and that’s exactly what he’s going to be.
It’s fascinating how healing a good girls night can be because a week and two hours of screaming Taylor Swift songs later, you were terribly hungover but feeling like a whole new person. Luckily for you, your boss was one of the said girls, so after lunch, the two of you decided that there was no work that required your immediate attention and was worth all that suffering and, with a clear conscience, went home.
The loss against Man City was pretty bad. Especially considering that Zava left the team. And the sport in general… Jamie wasn’t so upset about this, but you weren’t particularly excited about all the paperwork that it left you with. Richmond hadn’t won a match in nine weeks, which was pretty discouraging too. You even invited Jamie for dinner after another lost match to cheer him up a little bit.
Then finally, a miracle happened, and Ted “came up” with some “total football” thing, which, once they had figured it out, seemed to work really well for the team. After they won a match again for the first time, Jamie invited you for a celebratory dinner, on which he cheated because he ordered takeout instead of cooking. You didn’t really mind, though, because Jamie’s cooking abilities are limited to a short list of dishes that he can make himself and a bit longer list of dishes that he can make if you tell him what to do, and you didn't feel like playing Nigella.
Richmond is on a winning streak, and the team’s spirit is exceptionally high. Jamie has been on his best game too, which he can admit that he has Roy to thank for, because he is mature like that now. Life has been really good lately.
The practice is over, and Jamie’s on his way to go and pester you when he bumps into Keeley in the hallway.
“Jamie!” She doesn’t appear to be as surprised to see him. “Walk with me.” She wraps her arm around his and starts leading him down the hall.
“You know that (Y/n) helps me out with the legal stuff in the firm, right?”
“Yeah.” Jamie’s not sure where this is going.
“So yesterday I asked her to come to this meeting with me ‘cause we were signing with that one guy. And he had his lawyer with him too, and he was, like, really hot. The lawyer, not the guy. And he was totally into (Y/n) too. I didn’t even know you could make legal terms sound so sexy…”
Keeley glances at Jamie, who resembles a kicked puppy at the moment. “I’m telling you all of this because you better put your big boy pants on and ask her out before somebody else does. Again.”
Jamie doesn’t even feel like asking how and how long she’s known, he just nods at her, and she gives him that sweet smile of hers and leaves.
It’s been almost three months since you and Jason broke up. Jamie’s been more than happy to be the one you spend your free time with again, and he’s been content with how things are between you enough to not want to risk it. He hasn’t seen you being really interested in someone anyway, but he’s seen people being interested in you. Evidently, it was just a matter of time before someone caught your attention too.
Jamie goes directly to your office, and the first thing that he notices is a big bouquet of flowers on your desk. Jason stopped renewing them a few weeks after your breakup, so it’s gotta be from someone else.
“Nice flowers,” Jamie announces his presence in the room. “Who are they from?”
“Just some guy I met at Keeley's meeting yesterday,” you say noncommittally.
So it is him. “Why is he sending you flowers?”
“Well, I don’t know for sure, but my guess is that he wants to ask me out.” You look pleased.
It’s now or never. “Don't go out with him,” he blurts.
You frown. “What?”
“Don’t go out with him,” he repeats with more conviction this time. “Go out with me.”
You contemplate him for a moment. “I don’t think that’s a good idea.”
“Why not?” Jamie hadn’t really thought it through.
“Just let it go, Jamie,” you say insistently.
“The fuck I will!” There’s no going back now. “I want this. You.” That comes out a bit desperate.
“Right,” you scoff.
Now it’s Jamie’s turn to frown, “What?”
“For fuck’s sake, Jamie!” Even with your patience, there's a limit. “You only wanted me ‘cause you couldn’t fucking have me, which is somehow even worse than if you never wanted me at all.” You glower at him. “And now again. I’m not some fucking trophy for you to want just because someone else does!”
Jamie is completely stunned, just sitting there with his mouth open, not being able to come up with a single sensible thing to say.
Your attention turns to Higgins peeking through the door frame, “(Y/n), I need your help with something.” You have never been more grateful to see him.
“I’ll be right with you,” you nod at him, smiling. He reads the room and decides not to wait on you here.
When Higgins disappears from your view, you turn back to Jamie, “We have a good thing here. Let’s not ruin it.” With that, you get up and walk away.
You haven’t seen Jamie since your little talk yesterday. This is probably for the better because you needed some space after everything. You’re done with your work for the day, but instead of going home, you’re sitting in one of the thousands of seats at the empty stadium, staring at nothing in particular and a lot going on in your mind. The sunset is absolutely stunning today. The sky is colored with all kinds of shades of red, orange, and pink, illuminated beautifully by the afterglow of the sun.
You see in your peripheral vision that someone is walking towards you, and the clashing colors of the clothes that someone is wearing are enough for you to know exactly who this is.
Jamie takes the seat next to you. You just sit there in silence for a minute before he finally speaks up.
“You were wrong, you know,” he starts softly. “I’ve always wanted you. It’s only when I couldn’t have you that I realized it. I’m sorry I was an idiot. Shouldn’t have taken me so long.”
You keep staring forward, so he continues.
“You are not a trophy, but you are my best friend. It means more to me than you know, and I didn’t wanna risk losing it. But then Keeley told me about that guy, and I thought I would regret it for the rest of my life if I didn’t say something.”
You finally turn to look at him. Jamie’s looking at you with those puppy dog eyes of his, which makes it’s impossible to be mad at him. You give him a small smile. “You wouldn’t lose me.” He smiles too.
It gives Jamie the courage that he’s been looking for, and he gently takes your hand in both of his. “Give me a chance. Just one date. And if you hate it, I swear I’ll never bring this up ever again.”
You study him for a moment, and his eyes look so hopeful. “Alright, Jamie Tartt,” you smile at him. “Make it worth my while.”
Winning the last match of the season, Richmond finishes the season in second place. Not bad for a Premier League comeback. Today’s celebration is Ted’s last day with the team. He sure as hell will be missed, but today is not about sad farewells – it’s about appreciating the people around you and everything that awaits you in the future.
Ola’s is filled with music, laughter, and joy. Jamie looks around the room: Dani is having a drinking contest with Beard, Richard and Jan Mass are having a passionate debate about something, Ted is spinning Rebecca in the rhythm of Never Gonna Give You Up, surrounded by Keeley and the rest of the players cheering and dancing next to them. Like one big and very happy family.
Jamie is pulled out of his thoughts by the movement in front of him and the sound of glasses being put on the wooden table. Then you pull him up by his arm and start dragging him with you towards the dancing crowd with a carefree smile. Jamie eagerly takes your hand in his and lifts it above you, making you twirl. You laugh and give him a quick kiss on the lips. Life has never been better.
A/N: did i sneak in the name of the songs in the most literal corniest way? yes, and what about it.

botw au (specifically lance as revali) thoughts!!!
lance becoming the best archer of his people because he worked SO SO hard at it. not because of his birth status or some divine power that some goddess blessed on him, but because of his own hard work. hell, he created this aerial combat move that no one else can do because he's just that good.
so princess allura goes to him specifically for his help defeating calamity ganon and he's so excited right? he's ecstatic. his hard work paid off. people acknowledge him for his skill. he knows he's made it.
and then it turns out he's not the big shot. no, he's actually just assisting this random dude named keith because some goddess decided THIS GUY should have the ability to wield a stupid little legendary sword. this guy's mom is a royal guard, he grew up with everything handed to him. it's not fair. why the hell should lance be the support to this guy? he didn't work as hard as lance. he's not special. why is he so special? why is lance second string to him when lance can do so much more?
and then all the champions are gathered and they begin training together. lance gets to pilot a divine beast named vah medoh. it's SO COOL, it flies and everything just like him. keith can't fly. keith just has to follow princess allura around like a bodyguard. also, why are keith and princess allura spending so much time together? not that lance is jealous or anything.
time passes, and princess allura still can't grasp the divine power that the goddess is supposed to have passed down to her. she's frustrated at not being able to harness it, and takes it out on keith. and so keith just takes it like the silent bodyguard he is. lance kinda feels bad for him. so he goes to talk to him, because though he doesn't like keith, they're still teammates, and lance isn't an asshole like he acts, sometimes. and then lance is not as hostile toward him after that talk. they even joke around sometimes.
but ganon attacks, and it still hurts when lance is referred to as support for keith's main show.
but there's no time for that, everyone needs to get to their divine beasts immediately. so lance looks at keith and the princess for the last time, and flies for vah medoh. it's time to take ganon down. they've practiced a thousand times. lance has this in the bag.
and then everything goes wrong.
vah medoh is corrupted, and ganon sends his spawn, windblight, specifically designed to take lance down, and lance sends his SOS signal too late. it's over. ganon wins. and so lance dies in the sky, far away from keith and the princess, who are nearing their own ends.
princess allura places keith into a healing chamber, and lance's spirit remains on vah medoh.
and then 100 years passes, and keith finally wakes up.
he doesn't remember anything, and collects sparse memories as he travels through the kingdom. he's told to free the divine beasts from this old lady living in the village he almost died in, and so he goes to each of the 4 regions in the kingdom to do it.
he gets to rito village, and for some reason, it hurts more than the others. he gets to know lance through tales passed down from the elders, and from his own measly memories. he remembers lance disliking him, he remembers lance extending an olive branch, he remembers working so well with him as a team, he remembers his last look at him before everything went wrong.
keith manages to go up to vah medoh in the sky, and with the voice of lance's trapped spirit, frees the divine beast and defeats windblight.
lance appears, blue spiritual fire surrounding his translucent form. he's grinning, and he's dead.
he thanks keith for avenging him, and keith cries. he doesn't know why.
then it doesn't matter anymore, because keith has to go to the castle and finish the job that he couldn't 100 years ago.
ganon is defeated, princess allura is freed, and lance is gone.

AITA for kicking my cousin out of our city? Kicking out is a strong term. I didn’t exile her or anything, I just - well, here’s the story from the beginning. My cousin-once-removed G (3263F) and I (2188M) were co-founders and co-rulers of this city. I don’t want to give undue credit to either of us - there were and are many others involved in the founding and governance of the place - but it’s fair to say that we two were the ringleaders. And we made a good team! We’re both very opinionated people, so of course there was sometimes tension, but overall I think our disagreements only made our decision-making stronger. That was until A (ageless, M) showed up. A is one of the lesser primordial beings who helped create the world. Necessary context: not long ago there was a catastrophic war between the most powerful of these beings, who was monstrously evil, and his more benevolent brethren. This war was absolutely necessary, but it did wreak havoc on the natural world. Myself and my cousin G and many others had to flee as refugees. When we founded our city, we wanted it to be a place of recovery from all that loss, somewhere that everyone could come together and flourish. The rulers of A’s people sent him to aid us in that. And his help has been invaluable! He’s shared knowledge that has already bettered our city and its people, and now we’re working on a project together that will let us heal so many of the world’s ancient hurts… but I digress. When A showed up, G took an immediate dislike to him. She has some history with the rulers of his folk, and I suppose that colored her opinion of him, but I’ve never seen that level of hostility from her before. She picked at everything he said, implied that he wasn’t trustworthy, even tried to tell me that we should send him away! She argued that since our people’s king had declined A’s help, we should too - which was ridiculous, our city has always made its own decisions, and anyhow our king hadn’t commanded us to do any such thing! Ordinarily G is very clear-headed and has excellent judgment, but in this case I just couldn’t get across to her that she was being unfair. When I was firm in my support of A, G started trying to drum up public animosity against him. Of course I opposed her, and as A had already made many friends in the city and is an excellent rhetorician to boot, G only succeeded in turning public opinion against herself. At city council meetings she continued to oppose A and his projects, but I stood with A, and the majority of the council followed my lead. G was essentially frozen out of the city’s governance - and I do regret that, truly, but she put herself in that position by refusing to work with me and A! Eventually G took the small faction that agreed with her and left the city. She told me my “doom was on my own head,” which was needlessly hostile, I think. And look, I fully believe that she believes she’s in the right. She’s a very principled person; she wouldn’t do all this for petty reasons. She’s just so wrong about A! I truly can’t think of anything else I could have done, but G’s been a blessing to this city and I’m really unhappy to have been part of the reason it lost her. Was there another way I should have handled this conflict? AITA?

The Wayne Family is a mess
Dick:-
Parental figure is Bruce, but calls Clark ‘dad’ sometimes just piss Bruce off <3 (Ignore Gotham War, Ignore Gotham War)
Favourite sibling is he doesn’t have one :3. Okay, he likes Jason a teeny bit more, but he’s pretty fair to all of them.
He sees Damian as his son, but they both refuse to acknowledge it completely. They’re comfortable with how they are now.
He is SO older sister coded. Feels like he is responsible for everyone, and tries to hide when he’s mad/sad, but most of the time his siblings force him to tell them how he’s feeling.
Him and Cass CONSTANTLY exchange ‘I swear to god, these losers’ looks when everyone is fighting/doing something stupid.
While his favourite is Jason, and views Damian as a son, he spoils Tim and Duke HORRENDOUSLY.
Him and Steph gossip about different celebrities 24/7
Is currently dating Babs :3
Him and Selina have more ‘friendsies’ relationship, than mom-son type relationship. When one of them get into a argument with Bruce they start slandering him SO BADLY.
Jason:-
I can hear you guys from on the other side of my screen, but him and Bruce are not on Father-Son relationship stance right now. Bruce sees him as a son, but he doesn’t view him as a father (anymore). But he can talk to him without fighting now. (Ignore Gotham War, Ignore Gotham War)
Favourite siblings are Duke, Cass and Tim. Because yes. He makes it obvious too lol.
Dislikes Damian, but helps him get away with shit just to give Bruce grey hairs.
Jason ‘I hate modern technology’ Todd
Him and Dick teaming up give people HEADACHES. If Bruce/Alfred want to scold them, they MUST be separated.
Stephanie and him are besties and bully Tim mercilessly, since he luvs to steal everyone’s friends. (Damian ur next)
He gets Alfred presents on both Father’s Day and Grandfathers day, and everything in between.
Spoils Cass tbh. It’s all with Bruce’s card, but what people don’t know won’t hurt them :D
He is constantly like ‘Selina u can do SO much better’ but he does like her. Just not as strong of a relationship.
Cass:-
100% Views Bruce as a father figure. Hates David Cain, and just does not care about Lady Shiva.
Favourite sibling is Tim, and is best friends with Stephanie.
People constantly think that Damian and her are biological siblings, so when they ask, she looks them dead in the eyes and tells them ‘He’s my dad’. It gets the reporters confused every time.
Obnoxiously acts like a little Angel, but everyone knows she’s not. “Cass. We all know you crashed the Batmobile. No, you smiling will not change my mind. Yes, your smile is very pretty, BUT STILL.”
Her and Dick are forced to be the responsible ones when everyone is hanging out. With Cass in charge of Dick, and Dick in charge of Cass. It oddly works out.
Loves spoiling Damian, it’s getting concerning. In turn, Damian’s pets love her.
Stephanie spills tea about EVERYONE to her. Even about her classmates, who Cass has never even met. Fake dating Steph as well so that nobody tries to flirt with her during galas, and to explain why Steph is so close with the family.
Babs is a major role model in her life. When Cass needs advice, Babs is the first number on her phone.
She loves Selina. But sometimes doesn’t trust her. Otherwise, she approves of Batcat :) Not that strong of a mother-daughter relationship, but she buys Selina a gift for Mother’s Day, just because she can.
Tim:-
Yes, he does view Bruce as a father figure. He also still views Jack as a father figure but he’s dead now <333 As for Janet…she’s a complicated situation.
Favourite siblings are Dick and Cass. He’s besties with Stephanie, basically tells her almost everything.
Both him and Damian are petty, so they trade insults a lot, but it’s more bantering than fighting lol. They do go out to places together, but they are always acting like they are forced to, or that they would be anywhere else (even though they like hanging with each other)
He will not stop with the ‘middle child’ jokes. He will purposefully make Bruce ignore him just so he give a long monologue about being the middle child. He will then ask Bruce to give Damian up for adoption to redeem himself. Damian is still here :D
Cass is Tim’s wingman. (Which is why it took so long for TimKon/Timber to get together)
Tim gives the best Christmas gifts, followed by Damian. This is mostly because he’s a STALKER.
He likes Babs a lot, but acts like a CHILD, because she’s better at hacking than he his and therefore she stops him from doing a few things. He threw a tantrum once when she activated CHILD-LOCK on his computer.
He adores Selina. Sometimes suspicious of her, but mostly trusts her. Selina spoils him, Duke and Damian to no limits.
Stephanie:-
Bruce is NOT her parent figure, but she still views his kids as her siblings. Crystal is her mom, she does not consider Arthur her dad.
Favourite siblings are Damian and Tim, Cass and Jason are her besties.
When Jason is mad at the family and going someplace without telling them, he only tells Steph where he is going.
Once, Tim asked how they were her siblings when Bruce or Selina aren’t her parents, so she declared that Talia was her other mom, and made weird stories connecting each of them :D
Cass knows ALL of Steph secrets, because Steph keeps venting to her 24/7.
When Tim and her are together, they start collectively working on a singular brain cell, making the other person next to them having to be the responsible one. On one memorable occasion, it turned out to be Damian.
Stephanie, Dick and Tim love stalking there siblings when they get a date. Just for fun <333. Stephanie and Dick however are the quote on quote ‘embarrassing parents’ energy when it comes to dates. (Tim and Duke are pretty chill when it comes to dates, Bruce, Damian and Jason are the ones who do the shovel talk, and Cass is just staring at you menacingly during the first family dinner.)
Stephanie and Duke are the ones who sneak off to do underage drinking. Tim and Jason are the ones trying to stop them LMAO.
Stephanie likes Selina a lot. She is constantly pestering her to let her see Harley and Poison Ivy. Selina let her one time, and they caused SO MUCH chaos. (Steph is Selina’s second favourite)
Duke:-
He doesn’t see Bruce as a father figure fully yet, but he does love him. He still considers his parents (minus the weird god dad) as his parents.
Favourite siblings are Damian and Jason. Because, in Tim’s words, he’s weird like that. Him and Damian go to movies every month, and we’re especially excited for the FNAF movie. (They LOVE FNAF.)
Duke is also super younger-sibling coded. If everyone gets super defensive of Damian, then he’s the one who can say ANYTHING and get away with it. As a joke, Jason starts referring to him and Damian as twins because when people ask who they’re ‘youngest sibling’ is, everyone keeps alternating between Duke and Damian.
At first he was downright TERRIFIED of Cass. Like he was scared to be in the same room as her. Now they team up to scare everyone else. (Duke is just recording, Cass does the scaring)
Damian only does ‘puppy eyes’ VERY rarely, and it works effectively every time. Duke? He does it for Every. Little. Thing. And most of the time? He gets it. Tim and Cass are the only one who can resist it. Sometimes.
Dick is Dukes idol. He wants to be like Dick in the future :3
Jason and Duke call each other ‘narrows’ and ‘alley’ respectively. Duke also does a lot of shit, just Bruce never finds out because nobody tells on him, so Jason is JELLY of that.
Stephanie and Duke have the most similar taste in food out of everyone else. VERY, VERY sugary. Nobody listens to them when they suggest to eat something. It’s too sugary.
Selina acts like Duke is her biological son as a joke to the press. The press still thinks it’s true. It’s downright hilarious.
Damian:-
Parental figures are Bruce and Dick, though they don’t acknowledge it :) (Ignore Gotham War, Ignore Gotham War) The relationship with Talia…is messy, to say the least.
Favourite siblings are Stephanie and Duke (because obviously???) They use there gremlin nature to a MAX to prank everyone else.
He is the most younger sibling coded person ever. He’s a little gremlin-demon, but if you mess with him, you’re messing with ALL OF THEM.
Upset that Tim and Stephanie broke up, and started shipping Steph and Cass (for shit and giggles, they are the type of besties who act like there in a relationship, and Damian knows this) and constantly asks Cass when she’s proposing so that Steph can be his sister legally as well <33
Constantly bantering with Tim, but they love each other. They just have weird ways of showing it :3
Dislike-Dislike relationship with Jason, but can and will team up with each other to ruin everyone’s day. They also don’t want each other dead ig :)
Only accepts Babs as Dicks girlfriend. No in between. But he will respect Kori. Begrudgingly.
Respects Jim Gordon so much lmaooo.
Has learned the Alfred eyebrow raise. He is now tormenting everyone with it.
Selina is Bruce’s fiancé, but they have a ‘chaotic aunt, and chaotic nephew’ type of bond. Damian is 100% Selina’s fav.

Hello I hope your doing well! I was wondering if it would be ok if I request headcannon for all the linked universe boys and how they react to having a reader tag along them that specializes in dark magic. If not feel free to ignore this have a great day/night! :)
Tumblr media
note: for this, i’ll try to be as close to jojo’s chain as i can, following some of the comments i could find about it. turned out shorter than expected, but i hope you like it! gn!reader, platonic.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There’s going to be a wall between the two of you the moment the nature of your magic is known. And with many of them having experience with different types of magic, this happens pretty much since the start.
It’s not you he has a problem with, but your magic itself.
He’s one with the strongest bias against dark magic, from his own experiences with it.
But, even if he doesn’t exactly like you, he won’t force you to leave. Like everyone else, you have a reason to be with them and a common enemy.
He’s going to avoid you most of the time though, at least being alone with you.
If you need some help with your equipment he doesn’t mind helping, but he’s distant.
It’ll take a long time for him to trust you, and it depends on yourself if this happens during the journey or if you go back home before you can fix this mistrust.
He might make a comment or two sometimes, if he thinks you’re being too reckless with your magic.
Even if you’re a good person, dark magic can change even the purest of hearts.
Tumblr media
He’ll be a little hesitant at first, dark magic is usually something he has to fight against, after all.
Won’t last long if you show that you only use it for good though!
You’re someone fighting for the kingdom, just like all of them, so you’re alright in his book, dark magic or not.
Enjoys talking about magic with you and Legend. He knows a fair bit himself, but who knows? He might learn some new spells that don’t need to be done with dark magic specifically.
Once you make it clear that the darkness in your magic doesn’t fog your judgement, he doesn’t see it as different from normal magic.
The two of you might team up often. Between your spells and his own, no monster will last in the battlefield.
Tumblr media
Just like Hyrule, he’ll be unsure about how to react, but it also doesn’t last long.
As the veteran of the group, he has dealt with different types of magic and people, and he understands that the nature of one’s magic doesn’t have to be the same as their own.
So, as long as you don’t do anything reckless, he won’t do anything against your dark magic.
What’s more, he’d love to ask you about any items or interesting spells you know!
He probably won’t use them, but some knowledge is never bad.
He’ll also defend you from some of the others who dislike dark magic.
Once again, just because dark magic is your specialty, it doesn’t mean you’re a bad person.
You won’t have his full trust, that’s something you need to earn, but he won’t treat you differently.
Tumblr media
The chosen hero doesn’t have as much experience as many of the others, but he cares more about you than your magic.
You’re a good person fighting to save your home? That’s great!
He’ll have to be careful when handling the master sword around you, just in case.
He finds magic interesting, so feel free to show him some small tricks you can do.
Similar to Legend, he will defend you if others say anything about the nature of your magic.
Might asks you some questions to see if there are any similarities between your magic and the one his Zelda is learning how to wield properly.
Maybe the two of you can talk about it if you end up in his era!
Honestly, he can only compare your magic to Ghirahim’s or maybe Demise’s, but you’re obviously not like them.
Tumblr media
He’s cautious, but doesn’t mind giving you a chance.
Dark magic is both dangerous and powerful, most times (if not always) it means sacrifice. He wonders how much you had to sacrifice to specialize in this type of magic.
He keeps his eye on you. Because he doesn’t fully trust you or because he’s worried about you? Only he knows.
Feel free to talk to him about your magic. He may not understand everything, but he can lend you an ear.
He’d rather you don’t use your magic too much, dark magic can consume someone rather quickly.
If this isn’t something that could happen to you, whatever the reason, tell him so. This way he won’t be as protective.
Tumblr media
Conflicted. It would depend on the real source of your magic.
He himself has an item brimming with dark magic, but it’s twili magic.
If you confirm that it’s not magic to harm anyone else but the monsters trying to bring ruin to the kingdom, then he will give you his trust.
He wonders how similar your magic is to the one he’s seen and experienced.
He prefers to avoid most of it though, like most magic items.
So, even if he doesn’t mind it, he’d rather not have much to do with anything concerning your use of magic.
Tries not to say much if there’s a discussion about dark magic, he doesn’t want to slip up about Wolfie.
Talking about the wolf, you definitely knew it was him the moment you saw the large animal appear in the camp.
The magic in his pendant is hard to miss.
Tumblr media
Much more conflicted than Twilight, due to personal reasons.
Cia’s dark magic will forever stay in his mind when it’s mentioned, even if he knows you are nothing like her.
It was a hard time, and all he could see and feel was her magic around the battlefield.
Then there were the dark versions of himself, made of his foolish actions and her magic.
It’ll take quite a while, and his trust in you may be shaky, but he’ll try to ignore his bias against it if he can see you’re a good person.
You are allies, and he doesn’t want to let his past struggles blind him.
If you avoid using much of your magic around him, with battles being an exception, he’d be grateful.
As long as you remain as someone fighting by his side, he’ll do his best to get along with you.
Tumblr media
He may be a little unsure about how to feel about your magic, but will soon compare it to the one that lets Twilight change forms.
Your magic is nothing like the one he’s dealt with him. It may be dark, but it isn’t heartless.
Once he gets a bit more used to it, he’s definitely going to ask you a few questions!
Both to satiate his own curiosity and because he thinks his Zelda would also be interested.
With your permission, he’ll share the information with her. It could help with something.
Would like to watch if you train using your magic, he thinks it’s pretty cool.
Definitely asks if you can turn yourself into an animal just like a certain someone.
Tumblr media
He thinks it’s really cool!
Look, he isn’t dumb. Dark magic is usually tied to monsters, but he can see that you aren’t a bad person, so let him have some fun.
He joins Wild when you’re training, it’s almost like you’re performing for them at this point.
Do you have any interesting stories about your magic to tell? He wants to know!
Overall, the one who cares the least about the nature of your magic.
You aren’t hurting anyone (except your enemies, of course) so why would he care?
Magic is magic, even if they’re from different sources.

Hi, posting for a bit of peer review of the idea.
Celebrity CEO/Scientist!Tony Stark/Flight Attendant!Peter Parker
Notes: 3k words. Peter is 18 and in the summer between high school and college. Tony is indeterminately in his 40s and some non-superhero-y but still action-movie-y version of IM1 played out about 5ish years ago. Weirdly not Pepper Potts or Liz Toomes friendly. I swear I don't dislike either of those characters, but I wanted everyone in a weird headspace.
Fair warning, this just kinda stops and is in a rough draft state. But I gotta know if anyone would want to read more of this before I devote more time to it. Like I'll probably still finish it but I'll probably finish my main wip first, ya know?
Peter finds himself fidgeting with his tie, but he can't help it. He is just so nervous. Mr. Toomes has already made it clear that if he messes this up he's out. And he gets it, this The Tony Stark's private plane. He isn't even supposed to be on this flight, but he was the one on standby. Today is the company team building/party and as the newest he gets to sit it out. He hadn't minded at the time, it sounded like a class and that was the last thing that he wanted to do with his summer off. Then the caterers arrived and decked out the meeting room. He got what kind of team building exercise it was then. Ned had fixed him a plate and assured him he would get to enjoy it next time. To enjoy getting paid to sit at the desk doing nothing but eat good food and wait for a phone that wouldn't ring.
But the phone did ring, and not just any phone at that. The line everyone calls the red phone, the one reserved for the clients that pay consistent 24/7 availability. He actually let it ring for second longer than he should have because he was in so much shock. He has never even seen it ring and now it was his responsibly to not only answer it but work whatever flight is being requested. Because everyone else was definitely already too far gone on the large amounts of champagne being passed around.
When he did pick up, it was one Happy Hogan saying that Tony Stark wanted his jet wheels up as fast as possible. Which wouldn't have been a problem except he wasn't cleared to work for Mr. Stark who has his own special designation. Only a select few are allowed to work his flights, because he's so valuable to the agency. Mr. Toomes even personally greets him whenever possible. He had immediately alerted everyone who needed to be told, including Toomes, who took fifteen minutes to figure out what he already knew. It was going to have to be him that worked this one.
Lost in the nervousness of an hour ago, Peter almost manages to forget about the current anxiety. But the nearly blinding gleam of the slick black town car as it rolls directly onto the tarmac swiftly reminds him. Toomes shifts next to him and Peter wishes he would have just stayed at the party. His boss isn't drunk precisely… just probably more than he should be to greet their most important client for what sounded like an emergency. What kind of emergency requires an immediate long haul flight to Hawaii he's not sure, but if there's one thing that this job has taught him, don't try to understand the whims of the rich and famous. It will drive him insane.
It doesn't even seem like the car has fully stopped, before Mr. Stark is out and striding toward the waiting plane. Their eyes meet for the briefest moment, as he passes at the bottom of the stairs, and Peter feels thirteen again. Watching the press conference, where even battered, bruised, and clearly exhausted, Tony Stark was suddenly the sexiest person he had ever seen.
He only doesn't manage to make a fool of himself by virtue of the fact that he freezes. Not that it matters much since Toomes seems plenty willing to be embarrassing enough for both of them, trailing after Mr. Stark in spite of the obvious brush offs. Peter recognizes Mr. Hogan purely because he's seen him in the background of enough paparazzi photos. He rushes to help him with the bags, thankfully only two small duffels. Happy hands them off with nothing more than a nod, dashing up the steps still seemingly as frantic as he had seemed on the phone.
Walking up the steps is equal parts terrifying and exciting. He's about to be stuck with his celebrity crush for eleven hours and if he messes it up he'll lose his job. No big deal. Not a problem at all.
Toomes is still hovering, babbling completely missing the unspoken cues that Mr. Stark isn't in the mood. He's already seated and buckled even, clearly signaling his desire to get a move on. Peter cuts through their line of sight to stow the bags, hoping it will shake Toomes. The last thing he needs is Mr. Stark in a bad mood, because his boss won't back off. That he had gleaned in his conversation with one of Mr. Stark's regular flight attendants. Sometimes Tony is lonely and looking for someone to vent to, but just as much he wants to be left alone. It's up to him to figure out which is which. Engage if he engages him. Well she had used different words, because she was quite drunk, but he got the gist. He's glad it's not a party, she made those sound worse. He can leave Mr. Stark alone and if he needs someone to listen to his problems that's okay. Maybe he can forget his own for a while.
His move does disrupt the conversation but not in the way Peter is expecting. Mr. Stark interrupts whatever Mr. Toomes is babbling about, to say, “He's new.” Peter busies himself with making sure the bags are secure, pretending not to be interested in the conversation.
His boss is quiet for a moment, before launching into, “Yeah I guess it was bound to happen. One day you were going to call on a day when the rookie was the one on standby. He's a little wet behind the ears, but he's good. It was actually Cathy, one of your regulars, that plucked him out of janitorial.” Mr. Stark's statement didn't really require that response, but at least they are talking about something he brought up. Toomes speaks again when he doesn't get a response, “She said he is too cute, smart, and polite to be wasting time cleaning.”
Peter is flooded with regret that he let this conversation happen and feels his face heat at the description. He stands and spins in time to catch Mr. Stark giving him a once over as he says, “Well, I think I can trust Catherine's judgment.” Peter knows he's probably blushing even worse. It wasn't even that kind of look, more just taking his measure. But enough to remind him that he would very much like for it to be that kind of look.
Peter blurts, “Are you ready to go, Mr. Stark? Or has anything changed since I spoke to Mr. Hogan?” It's a bit rude to cut into their conversation, but he's getting desperate to get Toomes off the plane. Happy is no help pacing towards the back of the plane with a phone to his ear.
There's a hint of a smirk on Mr. Stark's lips as he responds, “Nope. We're good to go…” his eyes flick down the little gold name tag dangling off his vest, “Peter.” As Mr. Stark looks at him, Peter gets the distinct impression that he is fighting the urge to laugh. And he gets it, Mr. Stark understands his predicament and finds it deeply amusing. Which is something… at least he's not mad.
“Well, we better get going so we can get in line with ATC,” Peter drags the sentence out hoping it will work, but instead Mr. Stark just makes an interested noise and he has to explain, “The only private runway big enough for your jet is closed out of an abundance of caution due to an issue with the TAWS system, sir.” Then trying to rescue the purpose of the conversation, “So we really should get moving, because the commercial lanes are always busy.”
They stand there in a brief awkward silence, as Peter begs with every fibre of his being for his boss to leave and his body stop noticing the way that Mr. Stark looks sprawled in the plush leather armchair. He's still clearly deeply amused at Peter's problem, which helps with his libido some, cooled by embarrassment.
Mr. Stark goes to speak, to help or hurt Peter is not sure, but Happy abruptly rejoins the conversation, “The house will be ready, Tony. The staff will come out with Rhodey, because you know he'll complain, but I figured you would like the peace.”
Moment forgotten, Mr. Stark turns to talk to Mr. Hogan and Peter does his best to pretend that he isn't listening as he does a final check of the galley. Toomes still stands in the middle of the walkway seemingly lost by the conversation.
“So he can make it?” “Of course he's coming. It will take a couple of days, but he's coming. Think he's going to try and get Banner and Strange to come out too.” ”So we can all braid each other's hair and eat ice cream? - Sorry, I didn't mean that. Thank you for putting this together, Hap.”
There's silence then Mr. Hogan seems to understand what the holdup is, because he starts ushering Mr. Toomes towards the door, spouting random nonsense about how they need to get moving. Peter rushes after them pulling the door closed as soon as Toomes is clear. He turns and thanks Happy, who gives him a long look before speaking, “Sure, no problem, kid. Listen, be gentle with Tony, okay? He's just had a bad break up.” Peter just nods, trying to hide his surprise. It always seemed like Mr. Stark and Ms. Potts were so stable from the outside. Happy nods and goes, presumably to take a seat.
The two soft beeps from his ear piece remind him that he still needs to do his actual job now. So he tells the cockpit that the stairs and car are out of the way, who inform him of the situation so he hurries to get everything ready. Bouncing lightly with nervous energy he takes his place at the front of the cabin and says, “ATC said they can squeeze us in real quick, because there's a traffic jam on the JFK side. So if you two are all ready, we can be airborne in five.”
Mr. Stark's lips twist and he says, “You're going to skip your little safety briefing?” Most people wouldn't complain about that, but then again Mr. Stark isn't actually complaining. He's messing with him. That much is obvious. Why he's not sure, but it's definitely what's happening.
Still not sure why, Peter finds himself playing back by pointing out, deadpan, “Either of you could legally fly this plane, sir. I think you understand the safety procedures.” He can tell that he surprises Mr. Stark with the statement, but thankfully not in a bad way.
In fact given the way that Mr. Stark lights up a little and starts eyeing him in a new way, Peter would say that it's exactly the right thing to say. Mr. Stark relaxes back into his chair in a way that accidentally shows off the long lean lines of his body, looking more rock star than celebrity ceo and scientist. And Peter has to get a grip on himself, because they're not that kind of staffing agency. He almost misses what Mr. Stark says, so lost in the fantasy, “Maybe I just wanted to see you do your thing.”
Peter replies, “You can watch me do my thing once we're airborne,” and then feels the blush explode across his face as he realizes how dirty that sounds. Desperate to regain his professionalism, he adds, “But if you would rather wait an hour, because we ended up at the back of the line…” he lets the sentence trail off with a hint of challenge, because that's what this has to be about. Mr. Stark is just trying to see if he can rattle him.
He gets the impression that Mr. Stark is laughing at him as he says, “As much fun as watching you do your thing sounds,” and Mr. Stark definitely makes it sound dirty, “how about you just bring out the bar cart when we hit cruising?”
Relieved to escape whatever game Mr. Stark is playing with him, Peter tosses out, “Sure thing, Mr. Stark,” before disappearing into the galley to let the pilots know they're good to go and buckle himself into the four point harness of his jumpseat. It almost sounded like Mr. Stark was flirting with him for a second there, but that's crazy. Plus there have never been any complaints about Mr. Stark coming on to the staff. Then he wouldn't exactly complain would he? And Mr. Stark had been in a relationship.
The jolt as they start taxiing knocks him out of his thoughts and it seems like they'll make the window so he grabs the gum out of his standby bag. Toomes would kill him if he knew about the gum, but the last thing he needs is to be half deaf because his ears didn't pop right. On impulse he slips his book on the bar cart, secured to the wall next to him.
Peter finds himself weirdly excited to do bar cart for Mr. Stark. The bartending lessons had been his best scores when he had done his training. He can't do any of the fun flipping and spinning, that would be a disaster with his clumsiness, but chemistry had prepared him for mixing things. Plus the rider made Mr. Stark's drink preferences sound easy. A little bit of over pouring, but not enough to make it a single into a double. No need for anything fancy, just very well made drinks.
The chime in his ear letting him know that they've hit cruising altitude comes at him like a surprise and brings with it some of his earlier stress. He busies himself with triple checking the cart as the captain announces their flight time and ETA. Unlocking the cart from the wall and rolling into the main cabin, Peter resolves to give Mr. Stark the best experience he can. The thought that he is hurting over his broken engagement is way better motivator than the threat to his job. Especially since he doesn't need the job anymore.
Resolutely not thinking about the letter at the bottom of his bag, Peter notices that Mr. Hogan appears to have fallen asleep during take off. He did seem very tired earlier. Mr. Stark catches him looking and speaks softly, “He's been running himself ragged for me.” Peter can see how touched Mr. Stark is by what Happy has done for him, but he seems almost mad about it.
“He's your friend, he just wants to make sure that you're okay,” slips out of Peter's mouth without him meaning for it to happen as he parks the cart close, but out of the way.
Mr. Stark gives him another long indecipherable look, before speaking again, voice still soft not to disturb sleeping man a few feet away, “He said something didn't he?” Peter feels like he is betraying Happy's trust as he nods, but it's clear that Mr. Stark already knows.
Feeling the need to defend Mr. Hogan a little, “He's just worried about you. It's just because he cares.” Mr. Stark sighs at him and actually looks every bit the guy that just had a very serious break up, whose friends are worried about him. There's an exhaustion there, not the physical kind like Happy, he doesn't need a nap. He needs a break.
Mr. Stark's soft, “I know,” almost gets lost in the gentle hum of the cabin. Then he shakes himself and goes back to being the billionaire, former playboy, philanthropist that has been staring back at Peter from the glossy pages of the checkout for years. It's jarring and he gets the sense he just saw Tony, not Tony Stark, not Mr. Stark, but Tony the person. When he speaks again it's with a joking conspiratorial tone, “What do you say you help me convince him to go take a real nap? And fix me a gin and tonic?”
Peter rolls with mood change as smoothly as he can, “Sure thing Mr. Stark. Double or single?” he begins assembling the drink on automatic, he's thankful for the familiar task in the unfamiliar situation.
Mr. Stark seems relieved he doesn't make a thing of it, so Peter counts that as a win, ”Single. Shake him for me will you?” Shaking awake a stranger is one of those things that was one of those things that had felt very strange the first time but he had gotten used to with this job. Happy startles awake under his touch apparently not having realized that he fell asleep. Peter leaves Mr. Stark to deal with him as he starts pouring. “Hap, grab your cpap and go sleep in the real bed.”
Happy starts trying to protest, about how he's fine, how he doesn't need to, and Peter knows easy points when he sees them. So he tosses out lightly, “The sheets are fresh and the pillows are fluffed, Mr. Hogan. I checked myself,” then to Mr. Stark, ”Twist of lime, sir? I forgot to ask.”
Mr. Stark's smirk suggests that his, “Yes,” is about more than limes and that Peter just scored some points in whatever game they're playing. Then with a voice like honey, that makes Peter immediately understand exactly how the man in front of him gained a reputation as a world class playboy, he says to Happy, “See you can't let the kid's hard work go to waste like that. Go take a nap at least.”

Oof, the first half of the episode is a little rough ngl. I like the second half with Aabria a lot more. The first group does get better as the episodes go on if that helps at all.
Also, to add a bit more context to Kollok: the creators - Hyper RPG - are filmmaking nerds and are mostly known on Twitch for their various virtual productions.
So Kollok has a lot of those post production visual effects and sound effects, which is them using their strengths to create a show, similar to CR and voice acting and D20 and improv comedy.
Obviously that's not gonna be everyone's cup of tea and it can get a little too much I admit, but it's not that bad of a show.
Hi anon,
I am...not sure if you read this in the necessary context (this provides some, and this some more, and if I'm being totally honest based on this I don't feel like you read my entire weird rant, which to be fair, it is long and weird but covers quite a lot of issues I have) but I am coming in with the premise of "I think heavy post production of actual play is a poor choice." It don't care that it's their strength; I think that if that's your strength you would do better to apply it to scripted works or to improvised non-actual play shows.
I will freely admit that I went in expecting it not to be my cup of tea for that reason, and with an added grudge of "being hyped up and cited as brilliant by Polygon's AP/TTRPG team, with whom I almost always disagree," but did genuinely want to give it a shot in as good faith as I could muster, instead of solely talking shit about. I hoped the acting, premise, and GM-ing might shine through even though the effects were unlikely to win me over and indeed were likely to annoy me.
That was not the case. I found the GM-ing (Driving?) style profoundly grating and pretentious (and I have a very high tolerance for pretension), the premise nothing to write home about, and honestly I don't know jack about sound mixing but I do know I have perfectly good hearing and had to crank my laptop speakers up to higher than I have to for CR or D20 for the prologue to the prologue only to subsequently hear some of the most irritating static sounds at top volume for the prologue, so I'm not even impressed by the production.
And to be clear: that's all fine. I think people are drawn to different aspects in actual play, and there's room for all sorts of shows. I might even finish this episode simply because if I were recommending something to someone else, and they quit an hour into a 3.5 hour episode, I'd feel a little miffed. But I really don't expect it to ever be my thing, and I watched it mostly because it felt uninformed to be criticizing heavy production in actual play without watching a notably deliberately heavily produced actual play show.
I do want to wrap up, and this isn't specifically directed at you but: when it comes to my opinions on a work, I'm not going to say I'm never going to be swayed by an anon ask because who knows, it could happen, but it's very unlikely. If I dislike something, I don't really care if other people like it - I'd never send anons or get on their posts or maintag something like the post I just made (and which I made nonrebloggable specifically to prevent it from spreading into fan spaces) but I hope that people who like something can show me the same respect and permit my dislike. If you're a fan I will not be offended nor resentful if you unfollow or block me or whatever you need to do, but I can pretty confidently say that new cast members or improved acting will not change the fact that this is extremely not for me.

Lmao I AM the old mod from Reddit. Just a few points
1) my friend did see them at merrily we roll along. Idk why this changes things. I still don’t like Ariana, she’s an ass. And I find it very telling that JB hangs out and associates with her and it HAS dimmed my interest in him, I still like HIM, but it’s definitely annoyed me. I won’t be seeing wicked, and I’m not convinced it will be good. 2 parts? Why?
2) I do still feel like the JB sub is very strict with voicing opinions. One of my comments recently got locked because I mentioned that I didn’t think JB should brag about meeting president Biden at the moment and I was told not to bring politics into the sub. Somewhat difficult, when JB is angling himself as a political activist/foundation member. But fair enough, it’s their sub and their rules.
3) I didn’t say Simone was jobLESS, I said it was weird she didn’t book as much as her counterparts. I put 0 blame on Simone for this btw - I said I feel like her management team was dropping the ball. Being the lead in a top show on Netflix should have put her on the short list for actresses that year. Fast forward to now, & the strike has delayed whatever project she’s in. That sucks. Because the only thing we’ll have seen from her in the last two years is Bridgerton s2 & 3.
4) I agree JB didn’t do much press for s2. And I still say, he won’t for 3. I didn’t say he’s too big for it. I said he might not want to, and if he’s busy (wicked reshoots and whatever project he books next - a play? Idk) he probably won’t make room for it. Also? Why would I think he’d do press for 3 when they *barely* promoted him for 2. He got his solo articles for 2, he’s not going to do that for 3.
I don’t really remember what else was in the comment but here you go!
Y’all don’t like JB (some of you even hate him) and that’s fine, everyone’s allowed an opinion. I wouldn’t say I’m a huge fan of Simone, I don’t hate her, I just don’t really care either way and people were really pissed at my opinion that she should have booked more after s2 lol.
I read your comments because I agree with some of the things posted, I disagree with a lot. But isn’t that what open dialogue is about?
Anyways, happy holidays!
happy holidays to you anon
listen, you know what I think about JB, I won't say that I hate him cause at the end of the day I can't hate a person I will never meet. I feel an intense dislike for him based on his public persona. Kudos to you for admitting that your interest in him has dimmed. If I was his fan I would be much the same cause you have to admit he surrounds himself with nasty people. Ariana Granda was an asshole way before she came out as a serial homewrecker, there's no one I hate more than privileged celebrities who use their fame and money to treat regular people as trash and we all know those horror stories that always surrounded her about her treatment of workers. Lmao she basically admitted she's a cunt in one of her songs, when people tell you who they are, believe them. As for JB, I don't know if his friendship with her is PR or not, It kinda doesn't make sense since I think his Wicked character doesn't even end up with her right? (I don't know Wicked very well) but it was very obvious those photos were staged because the way they were acting was embarassing and the fact that he keeps bringing them up and the buzz they generated as something surprising is even more embarassing for him. This is why I think he's fake as hell. What do you mean you can't believe people were talking about them and the fact some people thought they were a couple? Not everyone knows you're gay buddy, and they way you and and one of the most famous pop stars were all over each other is bound to create talk so stop acting kind of annoyed about the "straight allegations". Then there's his whole friendship with Matt Bomer, another gay man who wasted a good opportunity to shut the fuck up and punctual as a clock posted an israeli flag on his insta. The reality of Fellow Travelers is there for all to see. Paramount, the conservative author, the producers, writers and cast members seem to be zionists and JB himself was part of Israeli pink washing propaganda. Honestly kudos to you for saying your fave talking about being happy about meeting Biden is not a brag and them telling you to keep quiet is another reason JB fans are the biggest hypocrites cause what the fuck does it mean keep politics out when JB himself said he wants to be political lmao? he photodumped his israel vacation, he's proud of his zionist show, he's happy about meeting Biden. Ladies and gentlemen, I think it's best if you start accepting your fave is not on the right side of things at all, yikes. He's one of the cast members of Bridgerton who said he wants to be political but couldn't bother to post ANYTHING regarding a simple call for a caesefire, in the name of human rights being stomped and all the kids who are losing their parents or even worse their lives. Fucking yikes. And he wants to be political? Does he think being political is only about going to galas, meeting famous people and having drinks? Or does he think it's only all about queer rights? He's white, he's rich, I think he can afford to speak about queer rights AND human rights since he wants to get "political". Nah, I don't think he's a good person at all and the more I see and read the more I feel validated in my opinion.
As for Simone and her career...I don't know what's going to happen, I'm patiently waiting for news, she seems happy and I'm good with that. Of course I wish for more, we'll see. I don't think it's right to compare her to her other costars. Actors from Bridgerton who have been booked and busy are Phoebe and JB, they're both white with connections. Even Rege, who was the actor everyone couldn't stop talking about when Bridgerton came out, didn't book much. I mean he did a couple of movies but nothing that matched the level of hype he got. We all know why.

Fabio Quartararo- Accident
Before this weekend even started I knew it would be a tough one as we were going to Aragon and its no secret that Fabio really dislikes Aragon probably to the point that hate is the best word to describe it. To be fair its not been too bad this weekend as Fabio made it straight through to q2 in 8th but he has been very frustrated with the bike and its complete lack of pace compared to the Ducatis since the start. Qualifying was a bit better as he managed to get 6th on the grid but there was four Ducatis in front and another two not far behind which meant he was just as annoyed as he was after practice as he knows that he's going to struggle in the race.
It has been so hard to watch him this weekend as he has just been so down and dejected about his chances which isn't like Fabio at all as normally he will try to keep a positive mentality but he just hasn't been able to this weekend. He's been like it away from the track too as when we go back to the motorhome he doesn't really talk he just likes to sit and think which I know isn't good but there is nothing I can really do to stop him. At the start of the season he did the exact same thing as he was annoyed about Yamahas development and that didn't help him at all but when he stopped focusing on that his results really improved. I've been trying my best to sort of hint to Fabio that he needs to get out of his head without actually telling him as I know he won't want to hear it.
With today being race day I'm hoping for the best but preparing for the worst and unfortunately I have an awful feeling that things aren't going to go Fabio's way. Even the team have seen the change in Fabio this weekend and have been asking me if anything has been going on between us or in our personal lives as they were thinking there must be something making Fabio as down as he is. When I told them that there was nothing else going on they felt bad as there was nothing they could do either to help the situation as they can only do so much with the bike and aren't miracle workers so sadly can't find more top speed from nowhere. Overall it's just been a hard time and everyone seems demotivated and not hopeful for the weekend and it seems that I'm the only one who is at least trying to keep some positivity.
As soon as we got up I made Fabio get ready and told him we were going for a walk as I thought that might keep his mind distracted for a bit longer. It was still quite early in the morning so there wasn't many people around which meant it was quite peaceful and calming on the track as we walked around. As much as it was nice as it was so quiet it was very cold which I didn't expect because its been so warm the rest of the weekend so I only had a long sleeved shirt on which definitely wasn't enough to keep the cold out. Although the aim was to keep Fabio distracted I've found myself being more distracted than anything as its so cold that all I was thinking about was getting back to the motorhome. Fabio seemed to be enjoying himself though as he had his usual smile on his face which was really nice to see as I don't think I've seen a real smile from him all weekend. He grabbed my hand as we walked and immediately loosened his grip when he realised that it was cold.
"You are freezing" he commented
"I know I didn't expect it to be so cold so I didn't bring a hoodie" I said
"Well that was silly" he laughed
Although Fabio laughed at me he let go of my hand and took his jacket off and put it around my shoulders so that I could put my arms in and right away I felt so much better as my body began to warm up. Fabio then decided it would be a good idea to start running to help warm me up even though he knows I hate running but I joined him anyways although that was mainly because he has hold of my hand so I didn't have much choice in the matter. We probably looked like idiots running around the track together but I didn't really care as it was just nice to spend some time with Fabio and see him happy before the race.
Eventually we made it back round to the pits just in time for breakfast so we went to eat with the team and then it was time for the moto3 race which Fabio always likes to watch so we headed out to pit lane. Usually when I come to races with Fabio we watch the other sessions from the garage to avoid the cameras but I thought it would be best for Fabio to not be in there if possible so we went to the pit wall instead. We were joined by a few other riders as it got closer to the race who Fabio and I talked to until the race started which was nice as I don't often get much time to talk to the other guys so whenever we get to catch up its always nice. Once the race started everyone went and did their own thing but Fabio and I stayed where we were as the view of the line was pretty good.
After the race had settled down a bit both Fabio and I were watching the screen until all the riders came back round but then it cut to us instead of the on track action. Of course Fabio politely waved at the camera but he also sneakily reached an arm around my waist to gently push me behind him so that I wasn't in view of the cameras until they put the cameras back on the race. I really appreciated him doing that as I much prefer to not be on camera if I don't have to be but I also don't like to make a lot of effort to hide away from them as I know that this just comes with dating Fabio so for him to help me get out the way so subtly was really appreciated. Over the course of the moto3 and moto2 race the cameras showed us a few more times and Fabio did the same thing each time until we he had to leave for him to get ready for the race.
Once we got back to the garage suddenly the happy and fun Fabio disappeared and the serious Fabio who was dreading the race came back almost instantly. All my work trying to distract him all morning didn't seem to have worked as right away he was talking to mechanics about the setting of the bike and what tyres they should use. He does this every race but his tone and just how frantic he was being made it clear to everyone that he was stressed. The team did their best to reassure him as did I but once he was out on the grid there was nothing any of us could do as he likes to be left to do his own thing so if anyone tried to talk to him we would make it worse. I wished him good luck before he went out on the grid so I was just sat in his chair in the garage a nervous wreck as I watched everyone on the grid waiting for the start. I've never been so nervous for a race before I mean my hands were sweating, my heart rate was through the roof and my leg was bouncing up and down involuntarily but I tried to tell myself that it would all be ok.
Soon enough the warm up lap was done and the lights went on before quickly going out again and everyone was moving forward trying to fight for their positions. The first lap I find is always the worst one to watch as there is often multiple bikes trying to go round the corner at the same time which doesn't always end well. Fabio was doing ok and had managed to keep his position mostly which was pretty good but then disaster struck. Marc had a moment on a small straight and Fabio was too close behind him to avoid it so he ran into the back of him and of course Fabio fell off his bike right in the middle of the pack. It was awful watching him slide across the track while others behind him did their best to avoid him and the bike and luckily they all did so I knew that Fabio was at least somewhat ok. There was another crash not long after which was also hard to watch and then the cameras turned back to Fabio who was just getting up and he looked hurt which made me panic even more as the last thing I want or that he needs is to be injured.
All of the team were in a bit of a frenzy trying to find out how Fabio was and the mechanics were preparing to get the bike back as they were going to need to repair it before packing up for Japan next week. I was following Tom around as I knew he would get any news pretty much straight away plus he always seems to know where to go so it seemed like a good idea to be with him.
We waited out the back of the garage for Fabio to get back but as time went on I got more and more worried as usually it doesn't take too long to get back to the paddock as they have scooters to bring the riders back. For a while I thought I was just being over dramatic in being so worried but when I saw Tom getting nervous too and trying to call people to figure out what was going on I only got more anxious. I have always hated seeing Fabio hurt so the thought that he could be really hurt and I'm just stood here and not knowing or not being able to be with him is killing me. I felt lost and like I didn't know what to do so I just sat on a bench nearby with my legs up to my chest waiting to hear anything. After a few phone calls Tom put his phone in his pocket and walked over to me.
"The scooter he was on crashed with another and he's on his way to the medical centre but I believe he's mostly ok" Tom explained
"Can we got and see him?" I asked desperately wanting to see him myself to know he was fine
"Yeah I was going to meet him I just wanted to let the team know" Tom said
Once Tom was back he went to get a scooter so we would be able to get to the medical centre quicker but it didn't want to start so we gave up pretty quickly and started to run towards the medical centre instead. Most of the time I would never run as I hate it but on this occasion I didn't even think about it and just ran as fast as I could towards the medical centre which meant running in between groups of people and mechanics with bikes but eventually we made it. Just as I was catching my breath a scooter pulled up by the side of the medical centre with Fabio on the back of it. Just being able to see him made me feel so much better as I could see that he wasn't holding onto his wrist or anything and when he got up I could see that his ankles were fine. As he walked closer I could see that he had loads of very painful looking burns on his chest and stomach I assume from sliding across the tarmac. They looked very sore and I could tell they were hurting him as he kept moving his leathers to stop them touching the burns.
Despite that he still gave us a smile once he got over to us and this was a genuine smile not like some of the times he has been smiling this weekend which made me feel even better about how he was doing. It was clear that he needed to go and be checked out in the medical centre to make sure there was nothing else wrong so as much as I wanted to stay with I knew I had to tell him to go and be checked over. Instead of leaving me like I thought he would he grabbed my hand and dragged me into the medical centre and into the room with the doctor with him. Usually no one is really allowed in with riders especially people who aren't part of the team but anyone who even gave us a questioning look just got a smile from Fabio as he continued to pull me along with him. In the actual room he got me to sit next to him and kept hold of my hand right up until the doctor came in to check his injuries. We spent what felt like an age in the medical centre but eventually we were allowed out and Fabio was given the all ok and all that was wrong was the obvious burns on his chest which was great as he can definitely live and ride with those.
Although Fabio's race didn't go much further than a few corners he still has to do all of his regular media duties so we headed back to the garage together so that first he could see the team and then could go and do all of his media things. The whole team were glad to see that he was doing ok and they even chatted to him about the crash to see if he had any feedback for them but with how short his race was there wasn't much for him to say and as the crash wasn't his fault there was nothing for them to change. After a quick catchup with everyone his media started in the garage by letting the social media team take some pictures of him to put on social media so the fans knew he was ok. Once that was done his media manager gave him a quick rundown of everything he had to do which was a very long list as he had to do many interviews with different tv crews in all the languages he speaks which is quite a few.
It was clear that he was going to be busy for quite a while so I went and gathered my things from the garage so that I could take them back to the hotel and wait for Fabio there but yet again he caught me by surprise. We were leaving the garage at the same time and when I went to go the other direction and say goodbye to him he grabbed my hand yet again and took me with him towards the media centre. I've never been in the media centre at any track so when we got in there and there was a whole TV set up with a Yamaha sponsor board and also an area for journalist to do debriefs with each rider I was just amazed that this is what Fabio has to do every weekend multiple times a weekend. Everywhere you turned there was cameras and tv presenters to the point that you were pretty much always in someone's way and if you weren't you were probably in the side of someone's shot which was very stressful.
After a few minutes Fabio was able to start all of his interviews and so I followed his media manager off to the side as I assumed that would be a good place to stand that was out the way. I actually enjoyed watching him do interviews as not only did I get to hear him speak all sorts of different languages which I love he kept sneaking glances at me and smirking at me which I knew was making me blush but he seemed to enjoy that. Eventually he finished his tv interviews then had to go and do the debriefs with the journalists but luckily that is a lot more chill and I was able to sit closer to him and listen to him talk. The journalists asked much more interesting questions that even I wanted to know the answer to so I enjoyed that part of Fabio's media duties the most. Once that was done he was completely finished with media duties and we were free to go back to the hotel which I was glad about as I was tired and just wanted to relax for the rest of the evening.
The drive to the hotel isn't too long so we made it back quite quickly and right away went to our room where we both showered quickly and changed into comfy clothes before getting into bed. Most of the time after a race we go out for dinner with the team or some of Fabio's friends but today I don't think either of us felt like going out anywhere so without discussing it we decided just to spend the evening together in bed. I ordered us some room service while Fabio got our favourite show ready to watch on Netflix as soon as it arrived. In the mean time he moved as close as he could to me which I took as my opportunity to snuggle up to his side and place my arm carefully over his chest avoiding his injuries as much as possible. Fabio's arm snaked its way around my waist and his hand began to trace shapes which I would love but as soon as I looked at him I knew he was doing it while thinking about other things. I am familiar with the face the was pulling, luckily I've only seen it a few times but I know that it means he's disappointed in his race and is doubting himself which I really hate. The last time I saw him this bad was at the end of the 2020 season when he was really struggling but since then he's been pretty good about staying positive and not dwelling too much on the past but clearly thats not happening today.
"Hey whats wrong what are you thinking about?" I asked him gently
"Nothing just the race" he mumbled back
"Ok I know there is more to it than that as you are making the same face you did at the end of the 2020 season and we both know that wasn't a good time" I said
"Ok fine I'm just a bit disappointed because now the championship fight is a lot closer and we are going to some tracks that won't be good for the bike" he ranted
"Don't worry about all of that everyone has an off race and this time it wasn't even your fault and you can't worry about the next races as we aren't there yet so you have no idea how the bike will do" I explained trying to make him feel better
"I guess you have a point" he said
"Please stop worrying about it remember what we always say to each other whatever is meant to be will be" I said
"Your right thank you love" he said
He seemed to think about life for a bit longer before a smile appeared on his face just as the room service arrived. I tried to keep an eye on Fabio as we ate just to make sure he was ok but he seemed really content and like he'd forgotten about what was bothering him earlier which was good. For the rest of the evening we didn't do anything other than lay in bed with either a movie or tv show on in the background as we talked and just tried to spend time together before he's going to be gone for a while for the flyaway races. As much as I love laying in bed and talking with Fabio as it got later and later my eyes began to get heavier and staying awake became really difficult. Every so often I felt myself falling asleep but I just rubbed my eyes and that kept me awake for a few more minutes. Eventually it was becoming almost impossible for me to stay awake which Fabio must have noticed as he whispered in my ear telling me to just go to sleep which I did and was asleep within minutes.

reasons minnesota is the best us state
vote minnesota here, because im right and you know it
minnesota is the longest running democratic state. true blue. these colors don't run. this is probably because we want everyone to know its freaking cold here and staying blue every time we're on a map gets the point across
has the actual worst football team and everyone knows it but no one cares
home to the mayo clinic, 3m, target, and general mills who made what... that's right, count chocula, kids.
hot dish is a cool word and basically like depressioncore cooking
if you live in the south part of the state the hormel plant is slowly killing you to make canned spiced ham which is cool
one time they just elected a wrestler to office and like no one said anything
the state bird is the common loon who minnesotans have turned into indescribable monsters that attack children, cars, and trucks much like the geese that also terrorize half of the state
it is a major activity in at least one minnesotan town to tie a dollar store sled to a truck via rope and do donuts at extraordinary speeds with high schoolers loaded on top of each other in the sled until someone has to go to the er (that town is my town (no one has died (yet)))
Minnesota has the Mall of America which smells like that because there's apparently no heat. The sheer power of sweaty gross tourists helps the mall face the winter. baller.
if you like grocery bags with handles then man do i have good news for you
Diversity win! Gay icon Judy Garland is from Minnesota
Diversity Loss! Straight Icon Bob Dylan is from Minnesota
Minnesota has an amusement park named Valleyfair, which used to host the Berenstain Bears who famously smelled like b.o. and the broken dreams of children. This was good for tourism but bad for children. Now they have peanuts characters who cant dance but do smell better.
Minnesota has the world's second most mid renaissance faire, but you can bring your dog to it and I think that's something you need to know.
the average minnesotan eats 19 gallons of mayonnaise a year. this isn't a real fact but it sounds like it could be.
the minnesota state fair debuted butter on a stick. this was widely regarded to be 'an idea' and 'something that happened'
the twin cities are very flammable. burn them down.
trespassing is a very common hobby with many minnesotans breaking into private or abandoned property because there's not much else to do. this is because there is no jack in the box drive-thru in the state
Lutheran sushi is a dish that was invented by god and probably whispered to a lady named Edna in the middle of the night. It is made of pickles, ham, and cream cheese. Legend says it was the front runner for the official secret state food, bravely competing against tatertop hotdish.
Tumblr media
Every minnesotan town is the birthplace of paul bunyan. this is because he was very big. the only place that is not the birth place of paul bunyan is eden prarie which 90% of minnesota inexplicably hates
Minnesotans love complaining about the snow and how cold it gets there, unless you mention that you feel a chill elsewhere, then all minnesotans become the picture of winter survival and mock you for disliking the cold.
in summary, minnesota is the best, screw the rest.

Hi Em.
I hope you are doing well.
I wanted to submit an ask about what my type can be, since I've spent a year trying and failing to type myself and I need someone else's opinion.
1. I do consider myself an extravert, and will be the one who initiates conversation if it gets too awkward. I like meeting up with friends, it refreshes me. Though I only have one really close friend. Being alone and doing nothing for a long time makes me sulky and irritable. The way conversations work with me is that I either get the other person started on a topic they like, ask a few promoting questions and just listen to them or if they are introverted and do not like blabbing to someone they do not know, I will talk enough to make them comfortable enough to contribute to the conversation. Sometimes just listening to someone talk to me make me feel better.
2. I have been told I need to work on my social skills, maybe because if I don't want to be friends with them or put someone at ease, I usually won't be very nice, just polite and maybe a bit curt. My version of polite is different from what my mom's version is, so I might come off as a bit standoffish. I'm not really sure about this one though.
3. With my friends and close friends I will make a fool of myself, say and do things I wouldn't if I were with someone else I don't know or if I were alone. Risky behaviour when with friends is common, as a way to impress them, maybe?
My close friend likes crafts but I do not have an affinity for them since they require alot of patience , and I am impatient. I would rather prefer to go outside and play sports with her, but she does not enjoy sports. Compromises are necessary. I do not like many team sports, but prefer individual ones.
4. I have also been told that I'm argumentative and do not accept that I am in the wrong easily. Not a really positive trait, and I will try to work on it. If I think something is stupid I will state it as such, but if it doesn't affect me in any way I will not speak up and let them decide for themselves. I do not have an opinion on everything, but if I do have an opinion on something I will defend it, otherwise live and let live.
5. When it comes to making friends, I will not be close with those whose interests do not align with mine much. Recently I was part of a group who liked to talk about clothing choices of themselves and other, and since I do not prefer such conversations, I distanced myself but am still friendly with them. Not much but we still talk sometimes. I have a few principles which govern my life, which are also quite flexible. I am nice to everyone, since I believe that what goes around comes around. I do not form immediate assumptions about the character of others, but if they have some or the other characteristic that I dislike, I will generally not try to be a friend of theirs.
6. I prefer getting decision-making out of the way, and also make backup plans in case things do not go the way I thought they would. I also prefer to remove things from my life that provide inconvenience. Many times people have been irritated when I suggested that if they are pondering too long about doing something or not, they should just not do it. If they wanted to do it, they would have done it without much thought. I am also trying to curb my tendency to do this, as it is not very nice. This has led to arguments in the family, since some of them are overthinkers.
7. I do not have a good memory and tend to make the same mistakes quite a few times before fixing my ways. I can walk into a room to perform some task but sometimes forget what the task was. I also have a bit of a laissez-faire attitude towards things in general. I think that I will not make a good boss or leader. Whenever I step up as a leader (only under certain circumstances) I will form an objective for the team, distribute the work and tell them to have everything ready before the deadline. I do not care how you do it, when you do it as long as it is up to the mark and before time. If I do not want to do something and think it is a waste of time, but it is compulsory to do so, the task will be completed last minute and will be somewhat on par with what is expected. I will not plan much into the future, but when I do it is usually a complex plan that collapses midway. I have also been told that I am quite charming when I want to be. Whenever I overthink or overplan it is futile, since my objectives will change midway through execution and I will deviate from the plan, guaranteed.
Lastly, my close friend says that I am smart, since I am able to tell her random facts that I had read once.
Any insight you can provide will be wonderful and I hope you have a great day.
Hi!
I am to be honest not sure. There's a lot of evidence for thinking and sensing, but while I definitely think you're a high Se user I also am not sure if Ti fits. This doesn't quite fit the warmth of an ESFP either, though that feels more likely than ESTP. Breaking it down by individual points:
I think the key here is being alone doing nothing: do you enjoy being alone if you're in a highly stimulating activity (eg, hiking, individual athletic activities)? If so, I wonder if you're an introvert in MBTI with high Se, which would mean you still need a lot of external stimulation.
The main thing this tells me is that you're probably not someone with high Fe; I don't know your mother's type so I can't really make that comparison but this could fit high Ti or the Fi-Te axis generally.
This is fairly typical behavior generally in terms of being more open and willing to take more risks with friends than with strangers. This again is strong evidence against high Fe, as high Fe users often will be much more willing to engage with other people's interests and also tend to prefer team sports, but I could see any of the other judging functions.
If you have some more specific examples, especially how you would structure an argument, that would help!
This is the point where I felt high Se perceiver was the case, so I don't think high Te at this point, since high Te users are likely to come to a judgment more quickly.
This again feels very high Se - get out and do things. Se users are also fairly pragmatic. You mention backup planning here, and that gave me pause for a moment, but the next section clarifies it a bit.
This is where I get a little stuck: I am confident in high Se, especially in that your planning needs to be loose and allow for improvisation rather than tightly plotted and in that you tend to procrastinate uninteresting tasks. The way you delegate feels very much like Te vs. Ti: that it gets done is far more important than the particular methods. However, I think it's also possible that if you are an Se-dom and don't care for leadership, while you may have specific methods for yourself you don't want to spend the time imposing those on others. Socially, it's interesting because it feels a bit more like Fi but usually ESFPs tend to not be terribly curt - they might be blunt but they tend to be fairly social and definitely team players. I suppose the other possibility is that you're younger and your Fe is still developing as an ESTP, or that you are an ISTP who happens to be more outgoing.
Hope this helps and feel free to follow up, especially regarding what topics you tend to argue about, and how you tend to argue - I think that would provide the most clarification on your judging functions. But I am confident in high Se!

hi friend! i have had a dream of creating a publication of some kind that uplifts artists/writers in my area. i have been so lost at what i want to or should be doing, so i think this might be a good time to strike!! i'm reaching out to the student magazines at local colleges to see if they have any advice, but i wanted to see if you had any advice to offer as someone who might not have had something so significant (like a school) backing you and your litmag! Thank you so much for everything!!
hello anon, and thanks for your patience!! [full disclosure this was completed last week but in my drafts im sorry!!]
the first piece i have is to read: read mags that print a variety of types of work, those that are established and upstarts and everyone in between. this isn't only to get a sense of what the literary landscape is like rn, but also to find patterns: what do these sites have in common? how about their submission guidelines, norms, expectations?
^ in regard to the above, i also *strongly* recommend you submit and go through the publication process in at least a few mags before starting your own. maybe you have already! in any case, think about what kinds of editorial support/communication/practice you've liked and disliked. what kind of editor are you/do you want to be? if you're not sure yet, consider joining the reading team at a magazine, or editing a folio or guest issue! going from no experience to EIC is not a great plan, in no small part because you learn who and what you are as an editor, and who and what you want to edit, as you gain more experience. joining an established publication in some capacity is something i recommend to *everyone* interested in starting a lit mag. that is, i do not recommend attempting to start a publication if you have no experience on a masthead already.
presuming that you do have this experience, you're going to have some new considerations for your new publication in addition to those you're familiar with:
probably-familiar things to consider:
who is my demographic (do I have any restrictions on who submits?)
what are my values? (this is what you put in your about/mission statement/submission guidelines. for example, I don't submit to magazines who do not make their antizionism/pro-palestine stance clear)
who are my coworkers (do I want to run this thing on my own, or get multiple editors on with me? do I want to just make a quick squarespace site or have a designer onboard?)
what genres, lengths, and other specifications do I want for submissions (docx vs pdf vs rtf? how much do you actually have time to read? what do you feel confident in your ability to assess?)
where can people find us? (social media? twitter/x is still a home base for a huge portion of publications, despite everything. ig has a fair few. tumblr hasn't been very successful in lit mag world - but maybe you'll change that? there's a fair but niche showing on bsky and mastodon. facebook, as with everything else, is for boomers with shit politics.)
probably-unfamiliar things to consider:
what's your title? is a domain available for that title? how are you paying for the domain?
how about website hosting? (squarespace, weebly, google sites, wordpress, something else? is your site accessible? do you need to make extra access considerations, e.g. if publishing visual art?)
do you pay? how much? (without institutional backing, the money will either come from your pocket or donations, or both. if you want to pay but are broke, you could set up a fundraiser - but no promises on people following through.)
what submissions platform will you use? (email? manywor(l)ds does this, and we like it. submittable? pricy, but streamlined. moksha/oleda/duotrope? i mean....you do you but i find them weird)
how often will you be open for submissions? will you solicit any, or be all-slush? (I take a 90/10 approach in favor of slush, personally. slushpile 4 lyfe xoxo)
do you charge fees? (hint: DON'T)
where are you listed? (chillsubs, duotrope, the submission grinder, and other sites aggregate lit mag opportunities. you should get yourself here!)
how often do you want to publish? how many pieces per issue? (consider how much time you actually have. this is all unpaid work, too.)
(if you have an editorial staff beyond yourself) how often are you meeting? how are decisions being made? how are you handling conflicts of interest?
there are also things that become relevant as you begin your mag: like, keeping track of published pieces eligible/nominated for prizes, making editorial friends/comrades (CRUCIAL), managing harassment and spam in the submission process, and other issues you'll encounter just in the daily practice of operating a magazine. remember, more than anything, that you're part of a community - or more accurately, an archipelago of communities and subcultures. this is why participation is so important, and imo necessary, as a pre- and continuous co-requisite to 'having' a lit mag. you're there to fill a niche, not pick out and publish All the Good Writing Ever. This will help you let go of great pieces that 'don't quite work' or just 'aren't a fit' (editors are serious when we say we reject a fuckton of amazing pieces every issue) and let go of submissions you yourself receive rejections for.
anyway, i hope this helps give you a few places to start. in short, focus on community, reciprocity, and building slow&steady experience and expertise (as well as your own editorial styles/techniques) vs. launching into developing your own thing right away!

ahhh thank you so much!! Love these two, this will be fun!
answers under the cut :D
4. Who initiates affection? Why does the other not initiate affection as much?
Okay, Billy just radiates confidence, and he's basically a golden retriever in human form. Definitely him. But they're both comfortable with physical affection and both initiate it pretty often - as you've seen in Desert Song, they're really comfortable around one another even before they get into an official relationship. Affection is usually more reserved for private moments, but it's abundant in those moments.
7. How often do they say “I love you”?
Relationships are a little taboo among the Ghosts, even if One has loosened the reins a bit after the events of the movie itself. Neither of them say it very much in public. But they make up for it in private
9. What do they dislike most about the other? Why?
Billy hates how Quinn refuses to accept her limits. She'll push herself too hard (usually because she's afraid she won't match up to the others), end up hurt, and he hates to see her hurt. She knows her limits, but still forces herself past them, and he wishes she'd take care of herself better than that.
Billy throws himself 150% into everything he does, and Quinn worries that it'll end up biting him in the ass. Think about chapter 3 of Desert Song: he offers to leave the Ghosts for her if One decides to kick her off the team, and she hates how willing he is to throw everything away just for her. She worries that one day, one of his leap-before-you-look decisions is going to end with him hurt, or destroying his future, or whatever else.
14. Do they enjoy PDA, or are they more private with affection?
Pretty private. Like I said before, relationships aren't quite allowed in the Ghosts. Everyone knows they're together and nobody really has a problem with it, but they're still a little cautious all the same. For some, it can be hard to tell whether they're in a relationship or are just especially-close friends (to be fair, they're kinda both). The one time Billy gets especially affectionate in public is if someone acts like an asshole towards Quinn (ESPECIALLY if they're a transphobic asshole), he'd jump to her defense so fast.
16. Would they ever get matching tattoos? If yes, what would these look like?
Actually, that would be really cool. They both have a fair amount of tattoos (though Quinn has more than Billy), so I think they'd be in favor of the idea. As far as the design, they'd probably get designs based on each others' rooftop names: Billy would get an ace of spades, Quinn would get a set of wings (or something along those lines). They definitely wouldn't be the type to get each others' names tattooed, they'd go for something more subtle.
18. How do they care for each other when one of them is wounded/sick?
...wait and see. It'll pop up a few good times in Desert Song. Hurt/comfort is one of my favorites to write.
21. Do they enjoy domestic life?
In moderation. They both have this inescapable need for excitement and adventure, so fully settling down isn't something that either of them would really enjoy. That chronic sticky-finger syndrome, as Quinn says, they need thrill in their lives. But in between missions, recovering, absolutely. The quiet moments are few and far between sometimes, but they'd definitely spend those moments with each other

Thank you! I want to know what corner of the fandom these anons are inhabiting because I have never seen such disgusting hatred of Lance? I’ve been in the fandom for years, enjoying tons of content (beautiful art and wonderful fanfics) — and the fandom creators and enjoyers I’ve witnessed have treated Lance with the respect and care he deserves. I feel like some people are just blowing shit out of proportion and labeling a majority of the fandom in a bad light, when in reality, it’s most likely just a select few who don’t even have a large reach? /shrug/ That’s just my two cents as someone who’s been around a dang long time and has been immersed in the Klance fandom. Also I appreciate how well thought out your responses are. :)
I mean to be fair, have we not learned over the past few years that the loudest people tend to be considered the majority, just because they are the ones yelling?
These Lance haters could easily just be a select few within the fandom, like you said, but if they're screaming and everyone else is just going about their business, then they are the ones being heard.
Either way, I'm just really glad that I'm not interacting with people like that. Because the closest I've come is a discussion of which team member was the most difficult to write - but that doesn't have anything to do with dislike or hatred, it's just that some people find certain aspects of character work or storytelling more difficult than others.
Pidge, by the way. Literally just not smart enough to do much with her character! lol
The point is that people can like whoever and whatever they like. But they can't expect everyone else to do the same.
I happen to think that all the characters had a ton of potential, and if people are willing to put some thought into why they acted a certain way, or said a certain thing, then it makes everything just a bit more fun and interesting!

Lol, saw someone answering a long ass ask where they detailed why they dislike Max and it's honestly so funny. The only valid reason they had was Max winning, which is fair. People always hate a winner so I understand but the other reasons were funny. One reason was because "Max always makes up excuses for his fans behaviours and never calls them out". Like Lewis does? Like Charles does? Max is the only one who calls out his fan, mate. When did Lewis actually call out his cult for being misogynistic, pedophilic, abalist, *that word for shaming people for being born in a particular country, I can't remember it*, racist to Asians, Latinos, Muslims etc. When did Charles call out tifosi for calling Sophie a whore, wishing death on Max, being racist to Lewis, harassing people, making children and women feel up safe in Monza? When, when??
Another reason was because "Redbull only supports him and not anyone else". But have you considered that maybe he's just that good that everyone else looks not that good compared to him? Like Mercedes wasn't, isn't catered toward Lewis? Redbull in 2010-2013 wasn't catered towards Seb? Last night Redbull celebrated Checo's win despite Max' bad race and Max was part of it too. Unlike some team *Coughs Valtteri with Mercedes Coughs*
This was the funniest to me that "Max can never be happy for someone else when he has a bad race". There's literally a compilation of Max congratulating other after his bad race. When Charles won in Austria, Max was the happiest person in the world, even more then Charles. There were other points but I don't remember them.
And the worst thing is that they write fanfics about Max 😭 and a lot. Like their most well received works are about Max 😬. And they are a Charles and Seb fan (apart from being a member of cult lh). They dislike Max but like current and rbr era Seb, who's exactly like Max but even more unhinged. They could tolerate even love Seb when he was dominanting every race and doing that finger taunt but have problems with Max doing it? Honey pick a struggle 😪.
Sorry for the rant here. I could send it to them but they would never acknowledge this. And these are the same people who say shit like "why are you interacting with me, I'm allowed to have my own opinions" when you try to put them in their place. It all about having your own opinions until it doesn't fit your agenda. So Lando isn't allowed to want his best friend to win? Alex doesn't get to happy for Max? Seb doesn't get to say he wants Max to win? Where is the freedom of speech and thought now? Cult lh is will never respect Max because they can't get other the fact that he's simply better, and Max fans will never respect Lewis because he's a hypocrite, because of him directing unnecessary hate towards Max just cause and especially because of his fans. His fans are odd and they need to be locked away for public safety, the normal lh fans need to be protected from them. These delusion people consume f1 like it's some sort of sope opera and not a sports.
Bestie this took ages I am sorry I had college and now I am typing this on my laptop cause I absolutely agree with everything you have said!!!!
“Max always makes up excuses for his fans behaviour” that is the biggest lie they have told. Are they forgetting the fact that Max had fully called out the people in Austria who were harassing girls? Then we have Lewis who never called out the sexist posts made against Hannah, or the racist posts against Calum who got a lot of them post Zandvoort. He also never called out the racist abuse Yuki got after Zandvoort or called out the death threats that Max got last season and during Silverstone never called out the booing but he more or less expected Max to call it out when it came to him. Lewis only calls out stuff when it will benefit him, he could give less of a Fuck about sexism, racism or death threats when it comes to Red Bull drivers or members. The shit in Monza should have been called ot by all drivers, espiaclly the chants against Sophie, they were vile but the fact the media never commented on the abuse in Silverstone, and Monza but jumped on the Austria, Spa and Zandvoort bullshit when there was no issues at the latter two races, only a bullshit story about a flare being thrown at Lewis😭😂
“Red Bull only supports him” Maybe because they knew he was going to be the one to bring them a world championship? They’ve known Max since he was 15/16, they knew the talent and the faith in himself he has, he is a Red Bull driver inside and out so why would they not put their faith in him? Since 2020 there is no-one (including Lewis) who is better than Max, he is the top driver on that grid. Lewis was favoured at Merc, Bottas was called a fucking ‘wingman’ for god sake it really showed they gave a Fuck about him huh? Last season in Turkey they were basically depressed that Bottas won yet here Red Bull have been cheering on Checo, backing him all the way….yes they favour Max but they don’t throw a fit like Ferrari did at Silverstone and not go to the podium.
“Max can never be happy for someone else” I think they need to look at Monza 2020, Baku 2021, Monza 2021, Bahrain 2022, Monaco 2022 and Singapore 2022. When Max was the first to congratulate Pierre, Seb, Daniel, Checo and Charles even tho his race was shit. Max is literally proven to be the most kind hearted boy on that grid, all of his friends say that about him, never a bad word to say about him. Them writing fics about Max being this asshole until Daniel fixes him is so fucking weird….like just concentrate on your own driver since you can’t even get who Max is as a person correct.
I won’t respect Lewis for those reason….the man throws unnecessary hate to Max, never has a good word to say about him even tho Max never has a bad word to say about him but lewis will never respect a driver who is better than him, a driver who has never been in awe of him…which Max never has been.
