crafty!reader who enjoys crocheting as a hobby and can whip up anything that comes to their imagination.
this post is inspired by this adorable little skull i crocheted earlier, which reminded me of ghost and i thought, "what if a crocheter reader gave this to ghost as a little gift?
anyways, lets get onto the little drabble <3
crafty!reader who enjoys crocheting as a hobby and can whip up anything that comes to their imagination.
you can make honestly anything. cardigans, jumpers, blankets, all the way to little keychains and plushies. it's quite impressive, considering the amount of dedication you really have to put into a project, especially if its big such as a jumper or something like that.
for holidays and ceremonies and whatever, you would be the one with the best gifts, and one to rely on for unique and personalised decor, like garlands for example. anything you ask them to make, you'll do it.
ghost was out on a mission, a supposedly long and difficult one. reader considered that and decided it would be nice to perhaps do something that could be thoughtful for him, and thats where they decided to crochet him a little gift.
it wasn't big, as he was supposed to return within the day that you thought of the idea, but its the thought that counts, you believed.
you used your scrap yarn to crochet a little skull pattern. nothing big, but it meant a lot. it matched the mask that ghost always wore, which you knew played a big part in his life. i mean, this dude would wear the mask anywhere he could, so considering that fact, you believed this small gesture could mean a lot to him. especially since it was handmade by you, the only sunshine and hope in his dark life.
he returns before you know it, obviously stressed and tired from the mission. immediately, you jump up from the sofa, shaking the bits of scrap yarn off of you before making your way over to him. you held the little gift behind your back.
"si, you're back!" you happily say as you hug him.
he sees you and smiles, his muscles relaxing as soon as you hugged him, the project in your balled up fist.
"i missed you, m'love," ghost chuckles as he wrapped his arms around you.
"i have a little something for you!" you giggle as you look up at him, excited for his reaction to the little gesture you made earlier.
he raises an eyebrow in curiosity before speaking. "really? what could that be?"
you step away from the hug as you open up your hand, revealing the little crocheted skull to him.
immediately, his eyes soften and he sighs with a small chuckle.
"sweet lord, it's adorable, m'love. is that...meant to be my mask?" he laughs softly. you nod with a proud smile.
"oh, i love it s' much. i'll treasure it f'ever, i promise you. god, i love you so much."
he gently kisses your head, the little derpy skull still in his hands as he pulls you in for another warm hug.

• Pulls out his money, and is about to make his way over to the counter, untillllll
• “Hes right, It would look beautiful on you, sweetheart.”
• There a man stands, taller then Dandy, but not as muscular. Hes quite skinny, with blonde hair and a flirtatious smirk that gives you chills. He reeks of alcohol.
• Dandy isnt amused
• Dandy whips his head around, smile instantly dropping as he pushes you behind him.
• “What did you say?”
• I think its pretty well known that dandy is quite childish and spoiled, And I think that spoiled brats are the last kind of people you want to make jealous.
• It’s not that Dandy veiws you as an object per se, he just gets the exact same feeling of possessiveness that he wouldve gotten as a kid when Regina would take his toys.
• And he didnt like it. Not one bit.
• Without giving the guy a chance to answer, hed push past him.
• “Get out of my way, beanpole.” Dandy would insult, grabbing your hand as he shoved the tall man before you.
• Thats when, suddenly the man grabbed your other hand, landing you in an odd position as both men held onto your hands, pulling.
• They both seemed to tug at once, jerking your body over to each side. You could see there expressions when you turned your head. Dandy looked absolutely infuriated, eyes brimming with rage and hatred as he threw a tantrum and jerked your body back to his. The other guy looked smug, a smirk falling on his face as he tugged your body closer to his own.
• It was like they were playing tug of war, except you were the rope.
• If you listened closely, you could probably hear Dandy’s murmurs of; “i hate you i hate you i hate you i hate you!”
• But you were WAYYY to busy being jerked around by the two men in a public store front to notice.
• Eventually, either you have to yell at them to stop or the storekeeper has to call the police.
• Either way ends up with Dandy sulking as you walk home, still in a jealous rage.
• “Im going to kill him! Im going to stab him a million, trillion times!!”
• Dandy, no-
• Poor baby is honestly just ranting the whole way home
• In the end, Dandy can’t push past his grudge, so once the two of you get home hes already filing for a personal investigator to find the “poor ruffian of the lower class” who tried to “steal you”, in the words of Dandy.
• You try to convince Dandy that the guy was probably just a pompous drunk dick, but Dandy’s stopping at nothing to find out who this man is.
• After a few days or so of searching, eventually Dandy has the mans address.
• Im pretty sure we all know what happens, but lets just say he makes good on his threat to stab him a million trillion times.
• Probably comes home covered in blood, wearing a clown mask-
• Oh and would you look at that
• He also bought you the dress he liked at the storefront!
• His mood completely changes, hes back to his giddy and childlike self again.
• Probably does something weird with the mans teeth, like make it into a necklace or something for you.
• “Dandy…what is this?” you ask, holding up the necklace.
• “Oh! Its a symbol of our love! To show no one and nothing can ever come between us! Not even that wretched cretin!” He says it with a slightly creepy smile.

holy shit that new trailer made me so fucking sad i have to adopt xiao as a sibling figure now. lore rant under cut
its just. the "fighting hard to not become the very thing they swore to destroy" trope always HITS and xiao is such a tragic character through and through that i think itd be hard for anyone to not feel sorry for him, once they have a deeper look into his story. it can be easy to dismiss him as the growling edgelord character but really just a deeper look in and u can see just how...... sad he is
ive said before that i hold a soft spot for adepti lore- after developing lore for xue yin ive come to rly appreciate what the adepti symbolise n common themes that they have, and how it connects to the overarching themes of genshin as a whole.
idk if ive said this before? i forget what i say in my (few) lore rants here LMFAO but i feel that genshin is, to me, a story about grief. about loss. how it happens, how people cope with it, and how they ultimately move on. a more obvious theme in the narrative is ushering in a new era- mond and inazuma having already done this imo by thriving without their archon's guidance, liyue moving on from the loss of rex lapis, and sumeru finally reuniting with their archon. but in order to welcome a new era you have to say goodbye to the old one- you have to lose the old one and move on. such as the archons have to cherish but move on from old friends and old memories, the people have to as well
adepti are sort of deital beings who served the same purpose for thousands of years and now have to learn to adjust to a liyue thats rapidly changed before their very eyes- and they deal with this change. some of them have already started (ganyu, madame ping), and it comes easier for them
but not for xiao.
im very much not qualified or informed enough to make an in-depth analysis on this specifically but ill say that xiao's current story focuses on his recovery from his ptsd. and i dont think im informed enough to talk about ptsd so i wont- but his recovery is so very carefully written in that its so slow. he's not quick to accept these things and can even be harsh about them. not only is his duty ingrained in his brain from years and years of war, but he is physically unable to stop, lest he succumbs to his karmic debt.
(at least. thats how i remember it. cries if im wrong)
i love how we got an update on him during lantern rite actually (i mean, lantern rite is always xiao time but yk), bc ive been dying to know how hes been since we last saw him in the chasm. and it looks like hes been doing the same old things he usually does- but hes making an active decision in getting better, and that makes me proud of him!!!
he interacts with baizhu and qiqi now (though he leaves right away lol, but from their interactions this isnt the first time theyve taken care of him. cute!!) and he even walks around liyue harbour instead of just leaving, even letting a little girl interact with him and letting her grandpa give him some rice wine (from venti noticing that he's already drank, by the time they see each other)
of course, it's hard- hes constantly haunted by his debt. by the demons he's slayed. by the evil he's purged. by himself. he has nightmares about himself- about his fear of one day becoming the very evil he swore to purge. that's why we get those nightmares of the two xiaos- in it, hes the one with the mask on. hes succumbed to the darkness, and he cant take it off- hes become the very thing he swore to destroy.

hes still haunted by his nightmares, his secret fears- but hes getting better now. though its slow, and he may not see it, his development is there and its incredibly meaningful. and i Cannot Wait to see more of him, and his journey in learning that: "It's good to take the mask off once in a while... even just for one night."

it was so so so sweet and full of love and my heart burst when he helped her curl her hair like we’ve all talked about before with him wanting to help out his girl and get her ready for their big fancy dinner and when she asked for prosecco to drink :( not okay moonie :( and the way we got to see him be a little protective over her but then be so so happy and proud of her that she was making friends and he definitely watched her the entire rest of the evening while he was sitting with his coworkers and melting every time the girls made her laugh or vice versa AND THEN THE FACE MASKS I will sob :( the image of him sitting and looking up at her while she puts the mask on his face is too much for me and the way they got all messy and cute because they just had to keep kissing :( these two have my whole heart prosecco is my favourite :( - 🍓

♱ Suna Rintaro - ANGEL AND DEVIL: i solely believe that he would do the basic ass devil and angel dynamic with you but super slutty and hot. when you originally suggested the idea he was so hyped. i feel like the costume caters to one of his kinks. starts with c ends with orruption.
TATE LANGDON AND VIOLET HORMAN (AHS S1): I definitely see this as well. He’d rock the whole skeleton school shooter ensemble and you wear a pair of skinny jeans, a sweater and some converses.
♱ Bokuto Kotaro - DILDO/ DILL DOE: i do not take constructive criticism he’s pulling up to the homies crib with you in one of those really dumb ass pun costumes. He’d be the one wearing the dill (pickle) and you’d be the one wearing the doe costume. He’s so proud of himself for the costume idea that he contemplated putting it on his résumé. He spends the whole night placing you by his side and forcing people to put two and two together.
♱ Oikawa - LOLA BUNNY AND BUGS FROM SPACE JAM: he 100% came up with this. yep. you two are that basic it couple keep scrolling. he will NOT be able to keep his hands to himself though (consensually)
♱ Tanaka - PLAYBOY BUNNY AND PLAYBOY MANSION OWNER: he also came up with this. your costume literally carries the party. however, the whole night YOU’RE the one wearing the robe while he parties with his whole upper body exposed. Sure he’s feeling a little exposed and vulnerable but it never hurts to show a little bit of that six pack he’s been working hard on and besides all of its worth it when he sees you eyeing him.
♱ Kuroo - RICK AND MORTY: You two are going as rick and morty. no he will not participate in something hot or edgy this man is either going in peanut butter and jam or rick and morty. he’s corny asf. but so fine. you’d wear a yellow baby tee with a short denim skirt along with some alien antennas. he however is pulling up in the whole ensemble. lab coat (because he just has that lying around), blue tee, some brown baggy jeans, and a ferocious looking stick on unibrow.

♱ Hinata- ANIMAL ONESIES: he pegs me as one of those people who just gets lazy during halloween and settles for onesies or goes overboard like digging through the trash for props there’s no in between. but this year you two are just dressed in matching brown bear onesies. basic but so cute.
♱ Sugawara- PHANTOM OF THE OPERA: yupp this man always has the need to look suave as hell each halloween. This year he wears a slick black suit with a complementary cape with his hair brushed back in a classy slick. The white mask covers half of his face but you can still vividly see the smile creeping up on his lips when you show him your costume. voluminous loose curls drape over your shoulders— you swipe a hand over the waist of the white gown. He’s mesmerized. He starts barking. Mood ruined.
♱ Akaashi- SPIKE AND FAYE VALENTINE (COWBOY BEBOP: OMG THIS IS THE ONEEE. you know this man looks sooo good in a suit. you two are literally the hottest couple to walk the earth
♱ Ennoshita- VINCENT AND MIA (Pulp Fiction) or SCOTT PILGRIM AND RAMONA FLOWERS: as i’ve established on my page before ennoshita is a cinephile. he’s so tasteful and cultured.

evening sets over the city as a gossamer blanket of debauchery and decadence. the sun dips beneath the horizon in a thin line of yellow-orange, fading to plum as the sky stretches above and behind you. stars glimmer faintly in the west, brighter the darker the sky gets.
despite the quickly-falling darkness, the city rouses. blinking neon signs flicker on above the heads of the crowds, and laughter and chatter fills the cool air with plans of drinking and dancing and flirting.
as compelling as it is to join the masses and perhaps join in a couple games of poker, you have a job to do. you’d never hear the end of it if you ditched jeongguk for a drink or a few black chips.
you sigh as you pull off your sleek black helmet, shaking out your hair as it falls over your eyes. you set the full-face helmet between your bike and your thigh, lazily propping one foot up on the peg.
you aren’t supposed to take off the helmet. its black visor acts as a mask to your identity, and namjoon had stressed that in the high likelihood that something goes wrong, you won’t want your face known at all.
such is the life of one of the city’s most powerful gangs. ah, how difficult.
you fiddle with your phone as you wait semi-patiently, completely aware of the eyes on you, eyeing up your black leather jacket and slick harley-davidson hungrily. you’re proud to say bangtan works and has worked in the shadows for the better part of a decade, a decision that’s brought you the highest income and best shot at longevity, so you know these eager eyes are not on you for any nefarious reason.
your phone pings. you open up the message from jimin.
it’s a photo of him and hoseok, both pouting cutely at the camera. jimin looks far from the dangerous man you know him to be, with his hair dyed rose-blond and his too-big white sweater. hoseok’s still dressed up from his recent business deal, but he’s lost his tie and rolled up his sleeves.
a message pops up beneath the picture.
these lips are missing you :(
you save the photo to your phone before replying. we’ll be back soon, you type. i’ll come home quickly to you.
he’s sweet about it, telling you to be safe if you do hurry home. hoseok steals his phone and sends you a thousand hearts and kisses – and you know it’s hoseok because he’s the only one who dumps an emoji paragraph of love on you all.
you smile. technically, none of you are supposed to be talking to each other during missions unless it’s an emergency, but what seokjin and namjoon don’t know won’t hurt them. in this case, that is.
you’re torn from your thoughts as gunshots ring out within the casino. screaming follows the crowd as they push and shove their way out of the luxurious golden entrance, tripping over each other.
you shove your phone deep in your pocket and pull your helmet on, fixing it on tight. you kick up the side stand and simultaneously turn the bike on. it purrs as the lights flare a bright warm yellow, the engine a constant, comforting rumble beneath the terrified screams of the casino-goers.
they rush out of the entrance like surging water straining through floodgates. they cry out as chunks of plaster and metal rain down on them from stray bullets pinging off walls and ceilings.
you shake your head and ready your hands. oh, jeongguk...
“drive!” jeongguk races out the front, dressed in a black suit and holding someone else’s gun, with someone else’s hefty bag of cash over his shoulder. he grabs the helmet behind you and barely makes it onto the motorcycle before you shoot off into the slow-moving traffic.
he ducks as a bullet shatters a car’s window. the man behind it shouts in fear. you glance behind you as jeongguk’s arms snake firmly around your waist, chest pressed against your back.
a few cars behind, a group of men carrying handguns stagger out of a black suv, which rides the line between two lanes. it’s parked on an angle – they tried to squeeze between the other cars, but the gap is too narrow for them to fit.
they chase after you on foot, raising their guns and firing without care of hitting anyone else. one has an smg and he fires it in a wild, manic barrage over the tops of cars.
you swerve skilfully between cars, ignoring the long, piercing honking, and run a red light through the intersection. a sedan jerks to avoid you, and a blue mercedes nearly smashes into it. its tires burn black streaks into the asphalt.
the weight against your back shifts as jeongguk raises his stolen weapon. he fires it backwards into the falling night to meet the scattered gunshots aimed your way. a man shouts out as his friends crumple to the ground, one after the other after the other like dominoes.
jeongguk laughs wildly against your back and grips you tight as you turn a hard left, your knee almost brushing the ground. a final bullet whizzes by your ear, bursting through a speed limit sign.
he whoops as you race an orange flame-painted mustang, swiftly pulling ahead and cutting it close with a red light. in an effort to come neck-and-neck with you, the mustang ignores the flashing change of the traffic light – the tinkling of shattered glass juxtaposes the harsh, scraping slam of metal on metal. it fades into the distance as you pull farther and farther away.
his chin comes to rest on your shoulder and his hands secure themselves across your stomach over the smooth, cool leather. the night is going to be icy. the wind already whips at his exposed skin.
his head shifts, helmet bumping yours playfully, and his laughter resonates recognisably through his chest. if you close your eyes, you can imagine yourself in some tender, loving, coming-of-age movie, the type that jeongguk invariably bawls over.
you can’t help the grin spreading across your face. the adrenaline burst was short but it’s still faintly there, a lingering thrumming and tingling from your racing heart to the tips of your cold fingers. the raw life of it – it’s a feeling you’re hooked on. there’s nothing quite like it.
on the flip side, seokjin’s going to be livid. you can only hope that namjoon will have the foresight to calm him preemptively with a cup of tea.

“i can’t believe you’d be so stupid!”
jeongguk stands in the corner like a kicked puppy, head hanging low as he picks at his sleeve. seokjin’s yelling had brought everyone down to watch and sympathise – or laugh.
seokjin sets his cup of tea down harder than necessary on the dining table. it doesn’t do anything to quell his anger, which is more of a high-octane mixture of worry and concern. he’s sitting with one leg crossed over the other, the epitome of grace and elegance, but his eyes burn like embers.
“you complete fool, how could you purposely start a fight like that? not telling the rest of us? not thinking about how you might’ve hurt innocents – and yn?”
at the mention of your name, you look up from your spot leaning against the kitchen counter, where you’d been playing with the hem of jimin’s sweater. it’s yoongi’s, you can tell that much by the star drawn in permanent marker on the label, but the size of it indicates it was originally namjoon’s. he’ll never get it back.
jimin takes the chance to nestle himself under your chin, sneakily sliding his hands into the back pockets of your jeans. you cup the back of his head – his hair is shockingly soft – and bring him forward to press your lips to his.
jeongguk mutters something in defence. obviously, it’s not a very strong defence, or he would’ve said it louder.
“what was that?” seokjin’s voice is sharp.
he raises his eyes bravely. “hyung, i trust yn to get us out of anything.”
oh. well, if that’s his defence, he should’ve said it way louder. you’re an incredible driver, in your humble opinion. you prefer the manoeuvrability of your motorcycle, but you’re not half-bad in a car, either.
“you didn’t even tell him what you were planning,” says yoongi with a raised eyebrow. “for all you knew, he could’ve fucked off to get a pepsi and you’d be alone and down one boyfriend.”
“i didn’t,” you say with a raised hand. jeongguk gives you an appreciative glance – at least someone’s on his side. “granted, i probably would’ve in the next two minutes. hate to say it, but i think i’m on their side for this, gguk.”
his smile drops and he groans. “you’re supposed to argue for me, not against me!”
you can only offer an apologetic smile and shrug.
it’s a sort of assumed deal to always have each other’s backs. jeongguk and you are so close in age the difference is basically negligible, and as such, you feel closer to one another than the others. that’s not to say you don’t love the others the same – sometimes your heart might burst with love for them – but it does mean an extra spark exists between you two. it’s the same with taehyung and jimin.
speaking of taehyung, he shuffles closer and gestures a little bit past you, holding your hand with both of his. you glance back and grab an empty glass, using one hand to turn on the kitchen tap and fill the glass. you pass it over to him and he beams drowsily in thanks.
namjoon stands and brushes off his perfectly-pressed charcoal trousers of non-existent dust. he smiles gently at seokjin and places a warm hand on his shoulder. “let him be, hyung. it’s late. we should be getting ready for the night – i don’t know about you, but my back aches.”
“welcome to the club,” yoongi comments drily.
hoseok passes namjoon and smacks the round curve beneath his neat waist. namjoon jerks forward in shock and grunts. hoseok grins as he pulls a dark suit jacket off the back of a chair. “maybe you should’ve asked yn to go gentle on you last night.”
yoongi and jeongguk snicker as namjoon shoots hoseok a warning glare. you hide your smirk in jimin’s hair.
jimin gazes up at you with a pout. he whines, “and you didn’t invite me?”
“sorry, strawberry,” you coo, stroking his soft cheek. “i’ll make it up to you tonight, hyung. how does that sound?”
“you better,” he mumbles sulkily, burying his face in your chest.
jeongguk’s still trying to argue his case against seokjin, but it’s obvious he’s only half paying attention. his eyes keep drifting over to you. it’s cute.
seokjin stands. naturally, he hooks his thumb through a belt loop on namjoon’s opposite side and pulls him in. it makes him look away with red-tinted cheeks. he’s still so unused to being taken care of despite all the years the eight of you share.
with his innate talent for charm and his silver tongue, he often takes the lead during the most important meetings with people who need to know that bangtan means business. at such times he’s a distracting mix of stone-cold glares and friendly outstretched hands. at home, though, the rest of you have made it your job to make sure that he can relax.
“fine,” seokjin sighs, “you’re lucky we love you – i’ll let you off easy this time. you should count yourself lucky that you’ve made enemies with relatively unimportant people. you’re not allowed to do anything alone for the next two weeks.” to calm himself down, he gives namjoon a long kiss.
“alright,” says yoongi, waving his hands as hoseok laughs, “let’s pack it up. we’re missing out on valuable movie night time, no thanks to jeongguk.”
jeongguk sticks his tongue out. yoongi rolls his eyes. when seokjin’s not looking, he does it back.
everyone trickles out of the kitchen, debating what movie to watch. raising a hand, hoseok suggests megamind. they immediately agree.
smiling cheekily on his way out, hoseok gives you a tender kiss. i missed you, it says. his lips are soft, a little cold, and taste like white chocolate – the fancy kind that comes in a box with a ribbon bow.
then, it’s just you and jeongguk. he’s moved, having taking seokjin’s seat. his arms are crossed and he stares moodily into the air.
you step behind him, placing your arms around his shoulders and leaning down. stubbornly, his eyes remain fixed straight ahead.
“hey.”
he doesn’t respond. his lower lip is pushed out a little. the corners of your lips twitch upwards.
“hey. are you mad at me?”
you raise a hand to brush your thumb against his smooth cheek and down his jawline. with a broadening grin, you gently grip his chin and tilt his head back so that he’s forced to look at you.
half of your hand remains on his jaw as you shift your arm to rest on the back of his chair. your palm rests over his throat.
his eyes are unimpressed but his throat bobs harshly against your fingers. grinning like an idiot, you tell him, “you’re so pretty, y’know that, gguk?”
his cheeks flame. “shut up.”
“you shut up.”
“fuck off.”
“ouch.” you flick him between the eyes and straighten up. he rubs his forehead, grumbling. “language, gguk.”
“you’re telling me.” he glares half-heartedly, holding his inky black hair out of his eyes with a fist in his hair. there’s a small spatter of dried blood flecking his temple and you frown, reaching out to rub it off with your thumb.
it comes off easily. it’s not his. you knock his head to the side and he bats your arm away. “ow. stop fussing, yn, i’m not hurt.”
“you could’ve been! or me. i would’ve killed you if either of us got shot – i like this jacket.”
“you’d hurt an injured man?” he shoots back.
you think hard about this. “if it was because he did something stupid, yes.”
“oh, i’ll do something stupid.” jeongguk pouts, rising to his feet and trapping you against the edge of the table. his chair scrapes loudly against the floor and you grin as he grabs your collar to pull you down to his height.
his lips brush yours. it’s slow, teasing, and he presses his chest against yours to lean into a second, deeper kiss. your hands come to rest comfortably on his hips and let him have this. it’s amusing, really. he’s never been an especially patient person. it shows now.

your laughter follows you out of the kitchen towards the living room, where you’ll join the constant cheery chatter on the couches. maybe you’ll build a pillow fort with hoseok and taehyung or share a bowl of hot noodles with yoongi and namjoon. you make the smiles brighten on their faces, and jeongguk wouldn’t have it any other way.

Okay but imagine... adoptive mother reader with Chongyun, Bennett, Razor and Xingqiu. This can be linked to that thought you once posted about the boys (Chongyun and Xingqiu) barely young adults and reader being something of a Guhua expert or an exorcist (and a little bit of those mommy headcanons lol)
So, this is settle with the boys a little bit younger, reader is a promising adventurer who despise being so young (early 20s) She have traversed half of Teyvat and made a name of herself. She comes back to Monstadt to see old faces and such.
She first arrives to Liyue and decides to rest for the day. She's strolling around the harbour, watching what's new and saying hi to old friends, when two boys running at high speed crashes against her and fall to the ground. Being the nice person she is, she helps them up and offers to take care of their bruises, to which they reluctantly accept bcs you have to always be wary of strangers.
While she patches them up, she starts to tell them stories of all the places she's been, noticing how the kid with amber eyes shine at the mention of she being in contact with a Real Guhua master (even if it was for only a month or so, but it is still impressive) and that she has a couple of books about the art and such.
Seeing his friend's happy reaction, the other boy with baby blue hair shares a bit of himself, and the small gasp that he lets out when the gentle traveler tells him she has seen a demon before! And even better, she got a charm from a successful exorcist from a far away land! How cool is that!?
After taking care of them, reader buys them a treat and guides them towards the inn she's staying to fetch up the items brought up in the conversation. When she gets back and gift them the items, the excitement that overcomes them was enough to jump and hug the kind lady, but the emotional moment was short lived as a young man similar to the kid with prussian blue hair and a older man with the same cat-like eyes as the aspiring exorcist approach them and retrieve their brother and son respectively, thanking the adventurer for looking out after them.
As morning comes and reader leaves at the crack of sunrise, it finally register in her mind that she never got the name of those two cute kids. Meanwhile, said pre-teens were musing about the same thing as the female, but what she didn't know is that her actions would actually leave a mark on these two for the years to come.
The travel from Liyue to Monstadt was beautiful but tiresome. A wave of nostalgia punches her on the stomach as the first batch of small lamp grass caught her attention, signaling that she has finally settled foot on the wildest part of the realm of freedom.
Trees grow thicker and small springs sprinkled here and there, the young female's pace quickens as she comes to terms that she won't make it today to the city, and it's wiser to camp out outside Wolvendom. As beautiful and relaxing the scenery was, she has enough sense to not turn a blind eye to the several claw marks and noises that she has spotted and hear throughout her walk.
Finally, after almost sprinting for a while now, the exit of the forest makes itself visible, and with a small sigh she slows her pace to walking speed. She was about to reach the Waypoint when a rustle from a nearby bush caughts her attention.
With only slowing down a little bit, she turns her head to the source of the noise, body tense and hand on her dagger just in case it was a Hilichurl or a Wolf. But what a surprise it is, when rather than eyes catching rough grey fur or a mask, a young boy with eyes as sharp as the furred beasts she's being weary of meets her surprised orbs instead. There's a certain curiosity in that ruby gaze, but she couldn't appreciated them more as she took notice of the whole human being in front of her.
What little clothes he had, they were all in a shameful state. The wind picked up and a gust of cold breeze touched the two humans, but only one of them shudder at its touch.
Seeing that, the female removed there coat and slowly, approached the boy. He took a couple of steps back and a snarl arises from his throat, hopping to stop this strange human from getting any closer. The female got the message, and crouched to meet his eyes on a same level.
She extended the hand holding the jacket, and with a patience of a saint, waited until the kid shuffled by his own to sniff the offered item. The female smiled, and was about to say something, until a howl broke the silence, and the boy clutching the jacket jumped from his spot, sprinting at a remarkable speed to were the noise came. He only stopped to turn around a give a small wave to the female, just to dissappear through the dense foliage that compose Wolvendom.
The adventurer dusts her clothes, and wishes the bests of lucks to the kid before returning to her destination.
That night, after finding comfort on one of the lone red tents meant for travelers, the Sound of small footsteps on grass alerts her and she rises from her almost slumber, only to find a small bunch of wolfhooks beside the tent.
Just like how she did in Liyue, when the first rays of sunrise emerged from the horizon, she sets off to the city.
After half a day of walking, the gates of her hometown greets her as she walks down the bridge, a small sigh of happiness escapes her as she takes in the sight of the streets she grew up in.
Her first stop was the to the adventurer's guild. As she greets and waves to old friends, the boisterous laugh of a man caughts her attention, turning her head to look at the source of the voice.
Her eyes widened and a smile just as big formed on her face, she walks towards the two figures in front of the guild's desk, the man being accompanied by a young boy with greyish hair was none than the person who cheered her on following her dreams of travelling all of Teyvat.
She hugs the man without notice and the man is throw off his conversation with the woman behind the desk. The face of the girl, now a young adult, greets him and he couldn't stop the overflowing of his emotions and hugged back the female. She's like a daughter to him, just like how he thinks of a son to the boy looking at them.
They share a couple of words before the female notices the boy besides them. Still being high from finding her mentor, she kneels before the boy and ruffles his hair, presenting herself and informing him that she's and adventurer just like the old man.
The boy's eyes shine at the mention of adventure. Does that mean that he has a mom now!? You do look far younger that his dads, but it's the same, right?
He surprises you when he voices his thoughts, and you chuckled a little at his cute face. You pinch his little nose, and with a smile you tell him you'll are honoured to be his mom, sharing all of your knowledge with him and experience with the outside world.
The boy, Bennett, as he shouted at the top of his lungs after your affirmative, lunged at your still kneeling form and locked his little arms around your neck, securing you in a tight hug. The force made the both of you to fall on the ground, but his happiness was so contagious that you couldn't careless about that.
As the years pass by, and your connection with the four boys strengthen, you saw them grow into strong young men, a feeling of proud sparks at the thought of being one of the big influence for them to reach the point they are now in, as you provided them with all types of knowledge and artifacts that you managed to get in your travels. You do feel like a proud mom of her four sons.
But... as pure as your feelings are, the four young men can't share the same sentiment. Or at least not in the same platonic way. They know that you don't feel the same as them, but you would never deny your boys their happiness, wouldn't you?
So, what would you do, when they finally decide to take action on their feelings, and the prospect of your sons crossings weapons just to have you for themselves is rearing it's head, will you choose one of them?
Or, in a surprise turn of events, they agree on sharing you with each others, as in the end they were taken care of by the same person they addressed as mother, creating a sense of brotherhood between the young males?
(Did you guys noticed that there's almost never a mention of mothers in Genshin? I think everyone has mommy issues lol)

“Let me tell you,” You said happy, stepping closer to the barrier and motion him to come closer. He did what you motioned him to do, allowing you to be close enough to grab his arms. With a small giggle, you squeezed his arms and proceed to tell him everything about it.
“W-What is happenin’” Atsumu muttered, looking at you and Kageyama. Atsumu back shivered when he felt a cold, hard glare coming behind him. Slowly turning his head, Atsumu gulped when he saw a dangerous aura coming from Kita, not liking how you grabbing a member from a different team and not getting Atsumu. Suddenly, Atsumu felt another shover running through him, but this time was in the opposite direction. Looking back forward, Atsumu gulped when he saw few members of the Karasuno team glaring at their own setter.
Perking up, you looked over his shoulder and saw two certain players and numbers that caught your eyes. “Mr.Captain! Mr.Ace!” You waved them over, “Can you come over! I can tell you the name of your muscles!”
“And that’s my cue,” Atsumu muttered, picking you up and hosting you over his shoulder.
You let out a whine as Atsumu carried you, looking back at the crows, “B-But I wasn’t done telling him about his muscles.”
Back where the team was, Atsumu placed you carefully back on the floor you let out a huff with a frown. But you quickly tensed when you felt Kita glare at you. Clearing your throat, you told them, “I’m-I’m not proud what I did…”
“We can tell,” Suna tried to hide his chuckle, enjoying Kita started to scold you for your actions.
It was now after the match against Karasuno, and sadly, Inarizaki had lost. You were cleaning up the benches for it to be ready for the next match. After the team thanked those who came to watch, you all left the area and head back to change out of their uniforms. As you were walking next to Suna, you overheard the conversation between Kita and the twins. You smiled softly as you saw Kita smile as he said, “I wanted to be able to say ‘aren’t my teammates amazing?’ Just that little bit longer.”
Few of the third years tense at his world before slowly tearing up. You let out a small sniffle, feeling yourself also tearing up.
“Say it, then,” Osamu told Kita
“We’ll be your juniors that you can be proud of,” Atsumu said, “even up till when you have your own grandchildren.”
As Kita was walking away, he told them, “I’ll be lookin’ forward to that.”
Walking past the twins, you smiled at them, “Come one, I bet you all are hungry.”
Everyone went to the provided locker rooms to change out of their uniforms. Once they were done, they all went to where all of their stuff was laid and saw you were there, setting up a box to help pass out packaged meals for the boys. They all lined up as you passed out the meals with a smile, noting how sad and tired the members were.
Osamu was last to get his meal, thanking you when you handed it to him. “You know…” you looked at him, “there’s this cafe back home…”
“Yeah,” Osamu nodded, a small tugged of his lips went up.
“I know it won’t help with how your feeling,” You sucked in a breath, “but I thought it could help…If you want… we can go? Together?”
“Love to,” Osamu smiled, “next Saturday? 12?”
“Sounds perfect,” You smiled at him, biting your lower lip.
“Oi Samu!” Atsumu yelled out, “Give me some of ya chicken!”
“Get ya own chicken!”
“Looks like it’s ‘Samu,” Aran noted to Kita as they watched the interaction between the two of you. Kita let out a hum, watching you as you turned to Suna with a wide smile and a thumbs up.
“I don’t know,” Kita smiled, seeing your eyes sparkle when you looked at Suna and Suna giving up a soft smile as well, happy for you. “I say we should wait before callin’ it.”
“A date?” Sara reaped your words, “You are going on a date?”
“I think it’s a date?” You hummed, “But I’m not sure…”
“How are you not sure?” Yui asked, raising an eyebrow at you.
“She wasn’t sure,” Sakusa said, rolling his eyes.
“Thank you, Sakusa,” You smiled at him and look at the two Itachiyama managers. “But to answer your question, I didn’t say it was a date… I just asked if he wanted to go to a cafe…”
“How did he answer?” Yui pressed on.
“He smiled when he answered…If that helps…” You leaned back against the wall of the arena.
“It could mean he was being nice,” Sakusa sighed. “Can I go now? I don’t know why you needed my help.”
“You’re here because you tell things how it is,” You told him, “and I need your input.”
Sakusa let out a sigh in defeat, stuffing his hands in his pockets. He was a little happy you picked an area that was least about of people. But he would rather be watching few matches, looking at the player's play.
“If it’s a date, he’ll most likely dress up nicer than he usually does,” Sara smiled at you as she gave you advice. “He’ll try to hold your hand, wrap his arms around you, or does something coupled do.”
“Wait,” Yui holds her finger up, “what happened to Suna? Didn’t the two of you kissed?”
“You kissed Suna?” Sakusa looked at your confusingly, “Then why the fuck are you going on a date with Osamu?”
“First,” You smiled nervously, “we don’t know it’s a date yet. Second, me and Rin decided if we are meant to be together then there will be a sign.”
“That’s dumb,” Sakusa said plainly, rolling his eyes at you.
“It’s not dumb!” You huffed, “What do you think I should do then?”
“Go with whoever you like,” Sakusa told you plainly, “if you like someone they go be with them. Don’t wait for a “sign” to tell you who to be with, or else you are just wasting time.”
Everyone became silent, process the deep words Sakusa spoke. You, Sara, and Yui all look at each other in awe while Sakusa looked proud at his words, his smile hidden underneath the mask. But his smile turned into a sneer when you and Yui said, “That’s dumb.”
“Why do I even try?” Sakusa muttered to himself.
“But he does have a point,” Sara hummed, “be who you want to be with (Y/n). See if it’s a date and if it is, see what happens.”
“Yeah…”
“A date?” Suna smirked at the silver twin, “Never thought (Y/n) would make the first move.”
“Shut it,” Osamu rolled his eyes. “But no hard feelings?”
“Just make sure she’s happy,” Suna told him, “and then there won’t be any hard feelings.”
“But ya sure it’s a date?” Atsumu turned back and stop looking at the matches.
“She asked me to a cafe,” Osamu said if it was obvious, “that’s a date.”
“But ya also asked her to a cafe when the two of ya made up,” Atsumu noted, “and that wasn’t a date.”
“He’s right,” Suna said with wide eyes, “I never thought I would say that…”
“‘m always right!”
“She did say something ‘bout helpin’ my feelings…” Osamu leaned back on his chair. “She just wants to make sure ‘m okay…”
“Yikes…” Suna gave an awkward smile, “guess it’s not a date…”
“But she only asked me so maybe?” Osamu said hopefully, “Maybe it is a date?”
“Don’t think so,” Atsumu shook his head, giving his brother a pity look, “heard her talking with other members about going out to help make them feel better.”
“This is going to be a friendly lunch, huh,” Osamu gave a far-off look.
“Well, look at the bright side,” Suna smiled, “I still got a chance.”

FUN FACTS:
Atsumu misheard when (Y/n) was asking the other members. She was asking what cafes are good to take a person out not where they wanted to go out.
Sakusa is a little relived that you said it was Osamu and not Atsumu.
(Y/n) always go to either Kita or Sakusa for advice since they always tell things how it is.
After Kita scold her, (Y/n) had to assure everyone that she was, and never will, go out with Atsumu.
