we have required PE for two semesters on my college campus which already sounds dumb and while i loved doing it, it’s such a burden on especially the disabled students on this campus. they hardly ever give out waivers since there are “easier” courses. i watch so many friends struggle with such a ridiculous ask that could easily just not be asked of their students instead of trying to make it less impactful but still a source of stress

was begging my mom on the phone last night to just tell me i’m not a failure and she sees how hard i’m working and she was like i never said that…then proceeded to not reassure me and instead tell me how there’s no reason to miss deadlines, i still go to parties, etc
