I always loved Spotify Wrapped because music is a big part of my everyday life and I love seeing what my top 5 songs are or my top artists ect. and I had a feeling this would be a very crucial part of my 2023 Wrapped and it was. I don't know what it is about this song but it just hits me so personally. It reminds me never to give up on my dreams and who I was meant to be.

SYNOPSIS. the saying “never meet your idols” exists for a reason. you just didn’t expect the reason to be because said idols would end up declaring that you’re their alleged lover from a past life (past lives, rather). now you have three big celebrities vying for your attention, and it’s not as dreamlike as you imagined it to be.

GENRES. reincarnation! au, celebrity! au (soloist! yeonjun, actor! soobin, rock band member! beomgyu), slight college! au, slight historical! au, rom-com, angst if you squint, reverse harem woohoo. GENERAL WARNINGS. possible historical inaccuracies because light google searches are my best friends, swearing, secondhand stress and embarrassment, explicit jokes and mentions of sex (no smut! at least nothing explicit), loserboy behavior AND weirdo behavior because i don't like it when my male leads are normal! (check each chapter for specific warnings).

This is an assumption. But why do you think JK bought his property in Itaewon out of all places ? And now building a mansion there which means that will be his main house he decides to settle. I've seen all korean stars buying their homes to love with their family in more decent and high end areas like Gagnam, Hannam etc. No one really buys property in itaewon with an aim to settle there with family as it's like the party spot of SK. Itaewon is known for clubs, brothels, parties, drugs and prostitution, most only go there to party, have one night stands or do illegal activities. Someone visiting Itaewon often is eye brow raising enough so building a whole mansion there is sus af isn't it ?

We’ve seen and been outraged by sasaengs and their stalking of members and called them out at times. I will say in regards to Itaewon, I’m not Korean, I don’t have a Korean father, a Korean brother, a Korean bff who works at Hybe, nothing. I do have a friend who went on a program, studied there and lived there for years but that’s it. I don’t know anything about Itaewon apart from the Halloween tragedy and a K-Drama. So guess what I did, yup you guessed it, I GOGGLED💪

Chaebols like those belonging to the Samsung family also have homes in Itaewon

Doing my googles, Itaewon is known as ‘a multi-cultural commercial area located in Seoul, South Korea. It is one of the most popular neighborhoods in Seoul, known for its nightlife and trendy restaurants.’ ‘Seoul's International District’.

I know some other places that sound like the above.. London…New York…Paris…

I wonder where the prostitution, drugs and one night stands come into it for people who wanna buy or build houses in those cities?

Jungkook is currently a 26 year old multimillionaire, who is a member of one of the biggest groups in not just South Korea, but the world, so I guess he’ll have lots to do when he’s not working his ass off with his intense more than full time job. Settling somewhere with family…I’m sure he’ll take Bam into consideration in his plans, wherever it may be.

Sounds like Itaewon is a cool, diverse, inclusive place, full of sites & attractions, shops and good food. If a 26+ year old man that’s been working and in the public eye since 13/14 wanted to build a home there, Itaewon sounds like a great place and a good investment.

I’d love to visit there, if I ever had the time AND money 🥲

"I can't believe we are currently at the house of one of the top chefs in Seoul and we're eating takeout from some random, no-star restaurant." Jeongin whines. He'd been pouting since the second Minho announced that he order food from a restaurant near him.

"It's my day off," Minho says calmly, not even looking up from the bags of food. He carefully pulled out each container and set them on his table.

Hyunjin was scrolling through Minho's Netflix account looking for something for you guys to watch while you ate. Everyone's suitcases are lined up perfectly by the door to give you room to sleep on the floor. All five of you were going to sleep in the living room and Minho had already set up the blankets and pillow before you even arrived. It was almost like how every movie night went with your group. You mostly met at Minho's because he had more space for all of you. All of you choose a movie and you would spend the rest of the night watching them.

"Let's watch Final Destination!" Seungmin calls from the kitchen, earning a laugh from Hyunjin.

"We are not watching Final Destination the night before we go on an airplane. Are you insane? That's like watching Titanic before going on a boat." You call back. You're currently sitting on the couch, too engrossed in your phone to see which genre Hyunjin was currently scrolling through.

"What happens in Final Destination?" Innie asks, walking into the living room and sitting down next to Hyunjin.

"Don't worry about it, In." Minho chimes, bringing the food into the living room.

"Okay," Innie replies. He learned from his lesson when you guys watched It a couple of years ago to just drop it.

Seungmin follows closely behind with the rest of the food and sits down next to you on the couch.

"How do we feel about 20th Century Girl?" Hyunjin asks, already pressing play on the movie.

"Y/n, stop flirting with Felix and put your phone away. It's family time." Seungmin hums.

"I'm not flirting with Felix." You retort.

"I mean you already kissed him, so..."

"You told him?" Your eyes fall on Hyunjin who is innocently already eating his food.

"By accident," He mumbles with food in his mouth. You feel your phone get pulled out of your hand, you quickly turn to see Seungmin with your phone in his hand.

"Seungmin, wait--"

"You're actually a fucking idiot." Seungmin looks up at you in disbelief. You try to grab the phone from him again but he pushes you back.

"Shh, the movie is starting!" Minho whispers.

"No, turn off the movie. This is more important." Jeongin, Hyunjin, and Minho pause their eating and turn you and Seungmin. You two were now standing on the couch. You are desperately trying to get your phone back from Seungmin who is keeping you away with his left hand while scrolling through your messages with Chan with the other.

"What are you two doing?" Innie asks.

"Princess dumbfuck over here has been texting Chan hyung."

"Seungmin, stop!" You cry.

"Seriously?" Minho asks.

"What? Right now?" Innie questions.

Hyunjin quietly gets up from his spot on the floor and quickly walks over to Seungmin. He takes the phone from Seungmin's hand and scrolls through your messages. Everything is quiet for a moment. Seungmin has an arm in front of you to prevent you from going after Hyunjin. Minho looks off at nothing, blinking in confusion while Jeongin stares at you directly.

"I'm going to kill him. But first, I'm going to kill you. What are you doing, Y/n?" Hyunjin asks. His face is slowly turning red.

"I'm not doing anything. We're just friends." You say softly.

"Friends? He basically said, 'Do you want to come over for ramen?' And you agreed." Hyunjin throws your phone at your feet.

"It's not like that--" You climb down from the couch so you were now level with Hyunjin, picking up your phone in the process.

"Were you dropped on your head as a baby?" Hyunjin's face twists in disgust.

"Who knows, maybe. Bai probably dropped me a few times to get rid of me."

"You're making jokes right now? I'm actually going to beat the shit out of you." Seungmin scoffs, picking up a spoon from the side table where he put his food.

"Seungmin hyung, you're not going to actually put your hands on her are you?" Jeongin panics.

"She needs to have some sense knocked into her." He retorts.

"Let's calm down before one of us says something we all regret." Minho stands up and makes his way toward the three of you.

"I have nothing more to say to her. If she wants to run off and be just like her cousin, let her be. I'm not going to help pick up the pieces when Chan leaves her again for some other slut." Seungmin huffs before storming off to Minho's bedroom.

"I'm nothing like Bai. Channie--"

"'Channie?' Oh my my fucking god!" Hyunjin cries, throwing his head back in shock.

"--and I haven't done anything. He's not cheating on her. I'm not the other woman or anything like that."

"Emotional cheating is still cheating, Y/n. And you know what? You're right you're nothing like Bai, you're worse. You knew up front that Bai was a bitch. You're going around, bending over backward to be her maid of honor with a fake ass smile all while flirting with her fiance."

"Guys--"

"I'm not flirting with Channi--Chan. We're just talking."

"Bullshit--What are you even hoping to accomplish? Do you think he's going to call it off with Bai and run to you and you'll live happily ever after? That might happen but it'll only be a matter of time before he runs off with someone else. Once a cheater, always a cheater."

"I keep telling you, it's not like that."

"Hyung--"

"Keep lying to yourself, Y/n."

"I'm not lying!" Hyunjin walks past Minho and straight to you. He gently cups your face in his hands.

"You need to get it through your thick skull that Chan does not love you. He doesn't love you now and he didn't love you back then. You're just some plaything to him and the second he's done with you, he's just going to toss you aside like garbage. Why? Because you're nothing more to him than a quick fuck and the sooner you realize that, the better off you're going to be."

"Hyunjin, that's enough," Minho warns.

"Hyung, that's a bit harsh."

"Fuck you, Hyunjin." You push Hyunjin's hands off your face and scramble to get your stuff together.

"Y/n, don't go," Minho says softly.

"No," You grab your suitcases and walk towards to door. "I'm not going to stay here if you guys are just going to yell at me all night."

"Yeah, go run to Chan again. Don't fall on his dick," Hyunjin scoffs before walking off.

"I'll go talk to him and Seungmin. Y/n, please just stay, we can talk about this." Minho says before going after Hyunjin, leaving you and Jeongin alone.

You struggle to put your shoes on, the tears that started pouring out of your eyes made your vision too blurry to find your laces.

"Noona," Jeongin calls softly. "please stay. They didn't mean what they said. They're just worried about you. It was scary when you found out that Chan hyung cheated on you. You...We almost lost you and none of us want to watch you go through that again. So, please just stay."

"I can't right now, In. I'll see you guys at the airport tomorrow but I cannot spend the night here tonight." You use the back of your hand to wipe the tears off your face and give him a reassuring smile. The two of you could hear yelling from one of the other rooms.

"Can you at least text me when you get home?" His eyes were full of worry, sparkling like he was about to cry.

"Yeah, I will." You give him a quick hug before leaving Minho's apartment.

Tonight has been like a fever dream. Not even an hour ago you were fighting with half of your main friend group and now you were currently in the bathroom of your fake boyfriend, doing his hair.

You were halfway home when your phone started ringing. You had picked it up without looking at the caller id and Felix knew immediately that you were crying from the tone of your voice. He made you stay where you were and went to get you, making you go home with him.

"Jeju's going to be fun," You mutter while massaging the black hair dye into Felix's hair. You had just finished telling him everything that just happened a few hours prior.

"Do you want to swap rooms? It sounds like Minho hyung isn't too mad at you. I don't mind sharing a room with Hyunjin." he says.

"He's not mad now but give him time to process everything and he'll lecture me next. Why do you think I shut my phone off telling Innie where I am?" You go through his hair one more time to make sure not a single bit of blonde was left. Felix was in the middle of cutting his hair when he called you.

It's still awkward between the two of you since your kiss. You two haven't been along together since then. It's an unspoken rule not to talk about it.

"Can I ask you a question?" Felix asks as you wrap his hair in a shower cap and towel. You toss the plastic gloves in the trash and set the timer on Felix's phone.

"Go ahead," You grab a washcloth and begin to clean up the dye from his face.

"What's the story with you and Chan?" He asks hesitantly.

"Not much of a story. We met at a welcoming event for new university students that he was volunteering for. Hyunjin introduced us officially later at a party and we hit it off. We fell in love quickly. dated for a little over 2 years before Bai got her claws in him. Found out an entire year after that they were together. Three painful years later, here we are. If you're asking why I'm still so into him, I don't know. They say that you're emotionally bonded to your first time so maybe that?" You look over Felix one more time, making sure you had every bit of spilled dye cleaned before tossing the washcloth into Felix's hamper. You took off the shirt Felix gave you so you wouldn't get dye on your clothes and tossed it in there as well.

"They kept it from you for a whole year?" He asks, shocked.

"Yup. Apparently, they had sex on my bed when I brought him home for Christmas. Bai was still living with my parents at the time so when I lost my shit I moved in with Hyunjin. He had an apartment near campus."

"Holy shit," He breathes.

"What about you? What's your story with Bai?" You sit down on the sink counter and swing your legs back and forth.

"Nothing as dramatic as yours. We met at a party and hooked up. That was our relationship for a while. Neither of us wanted to be tied down so it worked for us. Eventually, I wanted to be in a relationship and she didn't want to be in one with me. So I let everything continue if it meant I could keep whatever the fuck we had going on going. I was pinning after her like an idiot, torturing myself by thinking she would realize she was in love with me too and break up with Chan."

"You said it wasn't love." You softly kick his knee.

"No, I said I'm not currently in love with her. I was at one point though. Won't deny that."

"How…how did you fall out of love with her?" You lowered your head, keeping your eyes on your feet.

"Time I guess? Seeing how she treated you helped though. Truly a vile woman. I wasn't in love with her anymore when I met you, but I wasn't over her. If that makes sense. But seeing her be two-faced like that as an outsider made me realize how truly toxic our thing was and gave me that final push that I needed. I was terrified to get into a relationship after I stopped loving her, but I guess sometimes you need someone to show you that it's all worth it."

Top 10 BLs of 2023 So Far

Our Dating Sim

(Korea) 10/10 Viki

If you haven't watched this, it's a must. I actually handed out a 10/10. I NEVER do that. It's a perfect short form KBL, an office set reunion romance featuring geeks that really suits 8 eps with no fluff and no chaff. Just comforting and yummy. I adored every aspect from the casting to the pristinely simple premise to the quietly smooth execution. Sure it’s low stakes, but that makes it high domesticity and extremely warm and gentle. This is a fuzzy blanket of a story - a cozy BL. It lives in my rewatch pile and you know what’s best about it? Every single episode is in that pile. There’s no skipping with this one, it might be good natured and calmly sweet but it’s tight and the pacing is excellent. Full review here.

My School President

(Thai) 9/10 YouTube

GMMTV gave us a classic high school set Thai BL with tropes like messy boys singing their feelings that made this one Love Sick for the modern age with all the gentle sweetness and pining ache, but none of the dated damaging tropes or issues. Yes, we’ve seen it all before, but I still ADORED this. And there is a lot to be said for the classics being re-executed perfectly. Who let my BL be this wholesome and funny? This show was fantastic, it’s only flaw was the singing (and that’s my baggage). My favourite GMMTV BL offering to date. And yes, I've watched them ALL.

The Eighth Sense

(Korea) 9/10 Viki

One of the longest BLs Korea has given us and (like Blueming) it feels more atmospheric gay coming of age romance than strictly BL. It’s got a bit of an age gap, country boy/city boy, stellar acting, complex characters, and leads with great chemistry and tension. It’s a bit chewy and sticky and less perfect than most KBLs (do I detect a touch of Taiwan?) This one deployed BL tropes (messy eater, shoulder sleep, protective seme, there’s even some hyung-slinging) but front loaded them with painful backstory and tons angst drives the 2nd half. This isn’t in the KBL bubble, there’s sharp edges and lots of triggers. For a BL the darkness of the content left me feeling unsettled (which is the only reason it didn't get a perfect score) but it does have a glorious ending and that counts for a lot.

The New Employee

(Korea) 9/10 Viki

So good, SO QUEER, so soft, a near pitch perfect office BL with conflict derived from that setting. Also found family and a lesbian bestie. Sweet & innocent (and out) Seung Hyun scores the office internship of his dreams. On his first day at work he gets into it with his cool reserved (and also v gay) boss. As you do. Frankly? This is what I wanted from this new crop of office set KBLs ALL ALONG. Rainbow rice cakes forever! Directed by queer activist Kim Jho Gwang Soo (Just Friends?) partly set in the same neighbourhood as the To My Star house. Gotta love WATCHA (Semantic Error, Light on Me).

Unintentional Love Story

(Korea) 9/10 iQIYI

A boy who just lost his job due to faked corruption charges accidentally discovers his ex-boss's favorite artist, now a recluse. Evil manager offers him his job back if he can convince the artist to rejoin society. Instead, they fall in love. I found the artist a bit stiff and reserved but Gongchan (maknae of B1A4) is a fucking GIFT - he carried this show (which I do not expect from the idol element). He was luminous with extraordinarily expressive eyes, just drown in the emoting abyss. The external conflict, social tension and pressure is complex and beautifully executed, plus Korea gave us legit side dishes (NOT a love triangle, hally-fucking-luya). I’m not sure on rewatchability, and it didn’t whip me into a verbal frenzy the way some KBLs do, but it still gets a solid 9/10 for those damn eyes alone.

Destiny Seeker

(Thai) 8/10 grey

A darn near perfect pulp featuring 3 likeable tsundere/sunshine pairings with uncomplicated iterations of enemies to lovers. At least one half of each does a decent amount of pining and there’s good chemistry, classic tropes, and communication rep. It’s fun and full of linguistic jokes. Sublimely cheesy but a good rainy day offering with tons of rewatch potential. Full review here.

Make a Wish

(Thai) 8/10

PNR (from Sammon - Manner of Death & Triage) about a doctor who can see the dead and strikes a bargain with a wish-granting irreverent tree angel - naturally they fall in love. Stars Fluke Natouch opposite not-Ohm, but who cares bc Fluke has chemistry with everybody. Once again the Thai afterlife is incredibly bureaucratic but I enjoyed the premise and the unfolding of the story (it’s not predictable but v. satisfying and with nice little twist). I like that the doctor is just gay af, fag hag bestie and everything. The cast is excellent but the comedic stylings are too overblown and tonally off. It had sad parts and did make me cry but is ultimately happy with a great sex scene, good smiley kisses, and all the agency.

A pretty classic foodie set KBL that managed to distinguish itself from others in this category by having a particularly satisfying final episode centered around found family. Sunshine sweetie soju rep gets involved with a shy introvert chef who doesn’t drink. This has a somewhat uneven plot and ridiculous central conceit (much in the way of Tasty Florida or Behind Cut), but if you are looking for a restaurant BL with Korea’s signature softness, then this is a great option. FYI I may identify with our baby party boy hedonist more than any other BL lead ever presented.

Love Mate

Features a very much openly gay older uke with commitment issues and a romantic (if arrogant) younger seme with no respect for boundaries (hyung romance). Workplace harassment much? That’s BL for ya. (Also a nonBL Kdrama specialty.) So yeah it’s questionable, but so is my taste. The ultimate premise that someone badly hurt shuts themself off to romance is very similar to Happy Merry Ending or 8th Sense but this version was more about fear than abuse or trauma. For me, this made Love Mate more relatable. However, because the denouement was driven by a late addition faen fatal, the conclusion felt rushed and forced. I can, however, see myself rewatching this one, so it falls into the general rank of 2023′s KBL aka solid high standard and eminently watchable.

Office frienamies transition a flaming hot one night stand into a f-buddy relationship that is built on a puppy/cat dynamic (and kinks into it at one point). Our puppy is loyal, smitten, and protective with endlessly longing eyes, while our cat is snarky, prickly, and deeply damaged (ALL THE TRIGGERS). NetJames give lovely high-heat with excellent chemistry and tuned-in performances of surprising depth, unfortunately the story ultimately failed them. Had the show had the strength of its convictions and kept to a tighter, darker, harsher 8 eps it would have been the first high heat to earn a 10/10 from me, but once they fussed with it, it dropped to a solid 8/10. Could have been great but was overworked. Still if high heat is your thing, this one will not let you down. Full review here. (Triggers include: child abuse, attempted rape, family abuse)

“Here you go, baby,” Namjoon announced smiling, holding a glass of ice water to you. Lifting your head up from the arm of the couch, you looked up from your phone towards him. Namjoon couldn’t help but to find you endearing. You looked insanely adorable nestled into the cushiony couch, your nude-colored loungewear hugging your every curve, especially your round belly. Namjoon already looked at you like you were the most precious thing in the world, but ever since you became pregnant with his baby, it was like you hung the moon and the stars in the sky yourself.

Frowning, you stared at the glass cup of ice water in his hand. Your eyes darted to his face, then to the cup, then back to his face, before landing on the cup again.

Namjoon froze in bewilderment as tears began to well up in your eyes.“What’s wrong, sweetheart?”

Sniffling, you wiped at your glossy eyes. You looked like a kicked puppy with your eyebrows drawn together and your lips in a pout and Namjoon hated it. “I don’t want it.”

Confused, Namjoon shook his head as he asked, “You don’t want the water?”

“No.”

“But I thought you wanted ice water?” You huffed in frustration, locking your phone before tossing it in the open space behind your folded legs. Clasping your hands together, you tucked them under your head, now staring at the television instead of Namjoon. “It’s in the wrong cup.”

“It’s in the wrong cup?”

“Yes, Namjoon,” you wailed, letting your buildup of tears fall freely. “I don’t want it anymore. It’s in the wrong cup and I only like my cup!”

Namjoon listened patiently, not at all taken aback by your outburst. With your due date soon approaching, it was to be expected.

“Okay honey, I’ll go get your cup.”

“I’ll go get it myself,” you insisted, shaking your head.

“Don’t worry, I got it.”

“No, I don’t want you to!” But Namjoon was already down the hall, treading into the kitchen. Swiftly, he dumped the previous glass of water out into the sink. The ice cubes clunked together as they settled at the drain.

Namjoon grabbed your cup from the cupboard, a tall baby pink tumbler with a matching straw.

He rinsed it thoroughly before filling it with ice cubes and then water.

Stepping into the living room, Namjoon made his way back to you. You paid him no mind as you scrolled through your phone.

“Here you are baby, I got your cup for you.” You were still pouting as you looked up at him. “Thank you,” you mumbled, taking your cup from him. Namjoon watched admiringly as you took a few sips of your ice water.

“Do you need anything else?” Still sipping, you shook your head no. “You sure? Are you hungry? Do you need a blanket?” Namjoon tried again.

Pulling the straw from your mouth, you pouted, “If you keep talking to me I’m going to start crying.” Your voice wavered at the end.

“Okay, okay,” He nodded. “I’ll leave you alone okay? I’m gonna go work on some music.” You nodded, still scrolling through your phone. Namjoon smiled, leaning against the doorway of the living room. “I love you, baby.” Finally, you looked up at him. You weren’t smiling yet, but at least you were no longer pouting. “I love you too.”

Charles Leclerc, the Ferrari driver tells his story: «I feel good only with the helmet on my head»

At 26, the young Monegasque has already entered the legend of Formula 1. Thanks to his cold blood and the audacity of a driving style that does not contemplate fear, Charles Leclerc has become "The predestined" for his fans. Since he was a child he loved red cars and with Ferrari he fulfilled his dream…

Almost 130 Grands Prix in Formula 1, 28 podiums, 22 pole positions and five victories: at 26, Charles Leclerc is already making history. His favorite driver is Ayrton Senna but «there are many I admire: Prost, Lauda, James Hunt, Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton. However, Ayrton Senna (the Brazilian champion who died in a tragic accident at Imola in 1994, ed.), is my all-time idol. From what I was able to see in the documentaries that tell his story and by speaking with those who knew him in life, I discovered that he was a special person to say the least, not only behind the wheel - he was perhaps the best driver in history - but also as a human being." Leclerc's childhood is marked by a deep bond with his father Hervé (he bears his name on his helmet) who was also a pilot - «dad was my number 1 fan» – and by his untimely death in 2017. «I was four years old, I told my father that I wasn't feeling very well and didn't want to go to school. Of course I was pretending like all kids do. However, I don't know why, he indulged me and took me to the go-kart track of his best friend, Philippe Bianchi. At 17 years old in 2014, he entered the “Formula Renault 2.0” with the Fortec Motorsports team. He took seven podiums and collected two victories, earning second place in the championship. In 2015 he moved to Formula 3 and, despite an accident on the Zandvoort circuit (Holland), which compromised the final position in the standings, and the death of his friend Jules Bianchi in July, after the accident at Suzuka on 5 October 2014, Leclerc he doesn't lose the desire to compete. «Formula 1 killed people I loved, but I can't help it», he declared some time later.

What was your first ever Grand Prix? «Macau in 2015. But I like to remember the first time I saw one. I was still a child, I had a friend whose apartment had a balcony overlooking the Monte Carlo circuit. Obviously I was already rooting for the red cars, even though I didn't yet know that they were Ferrari. It was simply my favorite color." In the 2016 GP3 season he won the title with the "ART Grand Prix" team, even if, during the last championship race in Abu Dhabi, he chose to retire. Does a pilot ever feel afraid? «I am a human being, even if I run at 300 kilometers per hour. Beautiful moments alternate with very difficult ones, I'm not a superhero. It was in 2017, when I thought I wouldn't be able to become a Formula 1 driver, that I felt a real feeling of fear." But it is precisely in 2017 that the turning point arrives. A year earlier Leclerc had taken part in the Ferrari Driver Academy. With the first free practice session of the British Grand Prix in 2016, he began his experience as a test driver for Haas and then for Ferrari. Over the course of the following year he became increasingly noticed, thanks to a series of victories - among them that of the FIA Formula 2 championship - and multiple tests of skill at the wheel of his car. In the 2017 championship he participated in four free practice sessions with Sauber, the first of which in the pouring rain on the Sepang circuit (Malaysia), and it was with the Swiss team that he became a Formula 1 driver. On board the Sauber C37, despite some difficulties, Leclerc demonstrates consistency and ends the 2018 season in 13th place in the drivers' standings with 39 points, voted "rookie" of the year. But what happens before a Formula 1 race? «Before running, a lot of tension builds up. I have been doing breathing exercises since I was a boy. They help me stay calm, so I can achieve a level of concentration that maximizes my potential. Preparation is 90% of the total work in a race." Before getting into the car there is also space for a ritual moment. «I only feel good when I wear the helmet and everyone comes out of the pit lane», he says, «the cockpit is like a nest, I don't feel any sensations, zero tension. In September 2018, Scuderia Ferrari announced that the Monegasque driver would replace Kimi Räikkönen, alongside Sebastian Vettel. «I was on a boat in Monaco. I had put the phone on silent mode, I find the call from Maurizio Arrivabene (head of the Ferrari team ed.). I told the friend I was with to turn off the engines, that the head of Ferrari had called me and I wasn't hearing well. I understand that he wouldn't have taken me to Ferrari. It seemed a little strange that he called me to tell me, I was disappointed. Fifteen seconds later he called me back and told me he was joking. In 2023, with his SF23 single-seater, he achieved the second podium of the season in Austria, while in Great Britain he finished ninth. In Belgium, after some changes to the car, he gets pole and finishes third. In the Italian Grand Prix, in Monza, he started on pole and finished fourth. Beyond the races, twenty-six-year-old Charles Leclerc, just appointed ambassador of the Monegasque jewelery brand APM Monaco, tries to spend as much time as possible with his friends. «Ricardo, Alex, Thomas, Guillaume, Nico, Hugo, Joris. I'm happy with them, we go to the beach, to the restaurant, we play five-a-side football, we're all sporty and we train together. So, not too too much happened during the live. JK came, talked a little tiny bit about his upcoming single, working on an album and a little more too, worked out, was his own cute self and dipped.

There is an album in the works, but not finalized just yet.

I did talk about the song not being written by him in my previous post. He heard it with BPD and said he wants to do it a lot. His words.

He heard it, he liked it, he wanted to do it. Not personal, not a life story.

Doesn't mean the lyrics didn't 'speak' to him in a sense. Didn't mean something to him. You can feel connected to a song that isn't written by yourself. But it is something to keep in mind when we hear the song, watch the MV and see the lyrics, lol.

And the thing is that when he says it, he does it so nicely and respectfully. I LOVE IT!!!

He told us he's taking English lessons.

He trusts us to see him bare.

Writing those lines, that sentence, idk why, it brings tears to my eyes.

He's not afraid to be himself. Take it or leave it. Yes, he plays the part of the idol, but he isn't afraid to show us him, a real human being just like us (just way prettier and sexier and more talented and more intelligent and in better shape), as much as he can under the circumstances of being an idol and a celebrity.

How can we not LOVE this young man?

I wrote this post based on the translations available. Of course I will watch the live translated and come back with corrections if be needed.

This to me felt more like a scheduled live for him, less one he just wanted to do, to keep connected with us or to convey a message that doesn't have to do with his own promotions (you get what I'm saying). And it makes sense it was pretty much scheduled, given the announcement of his single release. But who cares? We got us some cute ass JK. Just seeing him warms my heart. I assume it has the same effect on you.
