Post Ch 417 speculations
So let's sum up some key details:
Deku disappeared inside the finger blobs:
Tumblr media
2. Looks like he lost all his OFA quirks (maybe still has the stockpile - who knows?), but in any case, he's now busy in vestige land
3. Tenko is about to relive his most traumatic experience of getting Decay and losing control over it.
4. The evacuation system is fucked.
Tumblr media
5. Aizawa, Mic and Kurogiri remain at an undisclosed location.
6. Toga is MIA
7. Who knows what happened with the Todorokis
8. Sero is still to get his highlight
9. There is an AFO trump card inside Shigaraki still unused.
10. Tenko/Tomura had two separate Origins.
Which makes me think the following:
Deku will get through to Tenko in the next (or next 2 chapters) and will give the raging child what he wants - a hero who comes and tries to save him despite killing his family.
The two of them will get stuck inside Vestige-scape
Tomura's body will go out of control in the outside world, possibly threatening the main civilian base.
Deku being busy fighting in Vestige world won't be able to be seen / to fight in the physical world
Aizawa will get through to Kurogiri to get the Warp and protect civilians from Tomura's destruction
All of Class A will come, as will some of the villains to help.
The civilians will step in too.
They can't try to destroy Tomura's body without possibly hurting Deku, so they'll have to hold off the damage trusting Deku to come through.
Deku will inspire Tenko to destroy AFO, the quirk from the inside.
Tomura will stand down. The war ends.
Class A stepping in when OFA is done / gone is the future 1-A modell - a connection of hearts replacing a legacy powers. The villains helping out could set up the future rehabilitation for them. The civilians stepping in would show the shift in hero society.
It would also fit the pattern of Shoto's and Ochako's fights, where others help to buy time until they can stop their villains.

YOU GOT ME FALLIN' IN LOVE, I'M IN LOVE
Tumblr media
pairing: gojo satoru x gn!reader (no pronouns used) genre: fluff word count: 591
notes: teen gojo, based off of that one scene in the credits, title from wayv - let me love you, i started watching jjk s2 PREPRARE TO BE SICK OF ME
Tumblr media
“y/n!” gojo smiles brightly, peering at you over the rim of his black sunglasses. a clear umbrella is perched against his shoulder, protecting him from the downpour. he splashes through little puddles lining the streets, kicking up water in his path until he reaches your side.
his umbrella is only meant for one, as evidenced by how close he has to lean in to cover the both of you. his side brushes against your own with each step you take. if gojo notices your embarrassment, he’s courteous enough not to make a comment about it.
“fancy seeing you here,” he teases, leaning in towards you. deep cerulean eyes meet your own; gojo’s lips curl upwards into a soft smirk.
you roll your eyes, chuckling beneath your breath. “we’re both headed back to jujutsu high. we were bound to run into each other.”
“always so cynical,” gojo whines.
his complaints are cut off when you perk up, glancing at something in the distance. “hey, look!” heat spreads across gojo’s cheeks when you grab onto his wrist, tugging him along with you as you rush off towards a nearby alley.
you stop near the edge of a building, only a few meters away from a nearby plant pot. hidden among the terracotta ceramic and the overflowing greenery is a small, unmoving, white form. gojo squints. “what is it?”
instead of answering, you carefully step forwards. water soaks your hair and drenches your uniform as you kneel down, hesitantly reaching your hand out.
gojo’s eyes widen slightly when a small kitten emerges from behind the vines, rubbing its face against your hand. you turn to look back at him with a bright smile, coaxing him over with a soft. “‘toru, come here.”
you take the kitten into your arms, cradling it against your chest. gojo smiles when it purrs as it nuzzles itself against you, leaving stray, white hairs against your uniform in its wake. you miss the way he tilts the umbrella forwards to protect you from the rain. “look how cute she is.”
gojo smiles, kneeling down beside you. the kitten shifts slightly in your arms, blinking up at him with beautiful, golden eyes. her ears flick when stray droplets of rain land on the top of her head. her fur is damp to the touch when he tentatively extends his hand out to pet her back. “she is pretty,” he murmurs.
“can we keep her?”
gojo bites his tongue, swallowing the “yes” that wants to crawl out of his throat. taking in a stray cat isn’t exactly the most responsible decision, but then again, saying no to you has never been one of satoru gojo’s many talents.
what’s left of gojo’s resolve crumbles when you hug the kitten a little tighter. she responds by stretching out in your arms before blinking at him as if expecting an answer. “please?”
maybe you should leave the kitten behind. set her back down on the ground and hope that she’ll be able to comfortably fend for herself. or perhaps you should take her to a shelter; you could drop her off into the capable hands of a vet and wash yourselves clean of the responsibility.
but maybe you should take her home. maybe having a friendly face greeting you at the end of a hard day wouldn’t be so bad. maybe - if gojo gets to see you smile like this - the risks are worth it.
“fine,” gojo smiles softly, welcoming you - and your new kitten - back underneath the umbrella. “we can keep her.”

Little Runaway
Pairing: Jake Lockley x Reader
Summary: “You heading home, carinõ?” “Not exactly.”
You decide to run and leave everything behind you, but the cabbie you've hailed to drop you to the airport might just change your mind.
Word Count: 2.3k
a/n: I'm not saying that you should listen to this song whilst reading but it definitely gives off the ~vibe~
Tumblr media
It was raining and you hadn't packed a jacket.
You hadn't packed much of anything, really. A heap of clothes, your passport, and what little cash you had. You had no clear idea where you were heading; you'd decided you'd figure that out as you went.
The pavement was already beginning to flood, water seeping into the soles of your shoes and dampening your socks. You cringed, readjusting the bag on your back. Your arm, which had been extended to the road in a desperate plea for someone to take pity and pick you up, was growing heavy.
The sky rumbled above you, an unpleasant preview of the deluge that was to come. You huddled in on yourself.
The screech of rubber against gravel split the air as a blue Honda Civic made its entrance at the end of the street. It spun from one side of the road to the other in flamboyant turns, and its radio blared so loudly the windows vibrated and quivered.
You took your chances and raised your arm. You'd take a lift from Ghostface at this rate if it meant getting off this godforsaken sidewalk.
The car sped up, frighteningly so, and your stomach dropped. It swerved towards the path, purposely speeding through the puddles collecting in the gutter. The small wave of water drenched the legs of your pants, from your knees down to your shoes. The blaring music barely drowned out the hysterical laughter from inside the car as it sped off.
You stepped away from the road and the squelch of your wet socks almost reduced you to tears. You folded your arms across your chest and started walking. You weren't even sure you were heading in the right direction but anywhere would be better than here.
Five minutes into your trek and drenched to the point it was a miracle your skin hadn't turned blue, a car horn sounded. You turned to the road.
A cab emerged from the heavy curtain of rain, black and sleek. Its tires were deathly quiet against the gravel and you questioned if it was a figment of your psyche. An imaginary savior.
It slowed as it pulled up beside you, tires kissing the pavement. The paint job was so prestine you could see your reflection staring back at you.
You were a pitiful sight.
The tinted window rolled down painfully slow and you squinted your eyes against the rain to catch sight of the man who sat inside.
Dark brown eyes regarded you from under the fraying edge of his cap. His stare was stern but not judgmental, looking you over with something close to pity.
"You need a ride?"
You oddly found yourself speechless. Blinking twice then once more, you surveyed the car again before looking back to your knight in clad leather. His hand tapped against the steering wheel in an uneven beat, an action you might have mistaken for impatience if his expression was an inch less friendly.
You shuffled your feet, the small puddles of water collecting in your shoes making themselves known. This was exactly what you'd been hoping for but the reality of getting in a car with a stranger was daunting.
"I don't bite, carinõ." He said suddenly. "Look–" he leaned forward and tapped twice on the taxi sign and (albeit run-down) fair counter on the dashboard. "I'm the real deal. I'll take you anywhere you need to go."
He motioned to the back of the car. You inched forward, then fell back on your heel.
"Look, I'd do anything for a pretty face but I don't have all day, are you coming or going?" Despite the nature of his words, his voice was still low, even; you'd dare say kindly.
Throwing caution, (as well as your memory of every murder mystery film you'd ever seen) to the wind, you slipped into the back of the car.
It was an instant relief. The warm air from the heaters kissing your skin and heating your cheeks. Even the heavy scent of cigarettes that clung to everything inside the taxi was somewhat comforting.
"Coming, then," you heard your driver muse as he pulled back onto the road.
You'd given him your destination, (the nearest airport, railroad or dock) and then you were off. Watching the world fade into a blundered mix of grey's outside the car's window made what you were doing feel far more real.
A few minutes of silence passed, followed by a small handful spent trading small talk, mostly about the weather. You supposed that it was all part of his job.
"You heading home, carinõ?" he asked casually and you supposed it was a fair question to ask.
"Not exactly," you answered, choosing to leave it at that.
You caught sight of his nod in the rearview mirror. He was quiet in contemplation for a moment. "Anywhere in mind?"
A laugh of disbelief, mostly at your own actions. "Anywhere away from here." In all honesty, you hadn't planned that far ahead. Your destination largely depended on which ticket was cheapest.
Another hum of thought from your chofer. "I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess you're not going to tell me what it is you're running from, no?"
You crossed your arms over your chest and huddled in on yourself. Your clothes were still dripping and the heating was doing little to fend off the chill now.
"Then you'd guess right."
The car lulled back into a gentle quiet. The rhythmic sound of the tires gliding over the road, the occasional bump throwing it off its rhythm. The rain pattering at the roof and windows, and the persistent beating of your driver's hand against the wheel.
You shivered again, a rebellious droplet having fallen from your damp hair and sliding down your back. You missed the look the cabbie gave you in the mirror.
He slowed the cab, just enough for him to lean across and open the glove compartment without having to worry about ending up in an unplanned game of bumper cars.
A large, brown jacket was tossed to you, the faux fur lining the neck feeling heavenly between your stiff fingers.
"Warm yourself up." His eyes were already back on the road.
You slipped the coat over your shoulders. It swallowed you up in warmth and you sighed, pulling it taunt against your damp frame. It smelled of ash, cigarettes and gasoline, an unusual cocktail that somehow screamed comfort. Given where he'd produced it from, something told you that giving his coat to strangers wasn't all part of your cabbie's general service. You sank into the item of clothing a little more.
You thanked him and comedically he tipped his hat to you. The small smile you managed made your cheeks feel warm.
The rain let up if only a little and the radio took its place as the dominant sound in the car. It was a quiet, dreary song playing; one you'd expect to hear from the front porch on a Sunday morning. Soft and gentle, easy to listen to. And the Spanish singing was ethereal.
'Tuvo compasión, más allá del sol, más allá del sol, yo tengo un hogar, hogar bello hogar.’
You let your head fall back against the rest, shoulders slumping and a gentle hum passing your lips.
Your cabbie lifts his brow in the rear view mirror and oddly you don't feel patronized under his gaze.
"The song," you say instead. "I like it."
In a beat, he reached across and turned the radio dial. The song flowed through the speakers with new strength. His gentle raps against the steering wheel fell into tune with the ballad on the radio, and his features softened.
"En la turbación, más allá del sol, más allá del sol."
His singing was nothing like his voice, the gruffness vanished and the rough edge softened. It was light and gentle, soothing and rivaling the artist on the radio. It was homely.
"Yo tengo un hogar, hogar bello hogar."
You weren't sure where or what you were running to, but you thought that whatever it was would, maybe, feel like this.
A warmth sat in your chest now, not just in place of where the rain had left its chill but where a deep void had been, a cold emptiness that had driven you to run in the first place.
This, you realized, was the feeling you were chasing. You just hadn't expected to find it in the back of a stranger's cab.
You pulled off the main road and turned onto a smaller street. The curbs were flooded and the traffic lights shone dimly through the downpour. You cringed at the thought of leaving your little haven, with its calming music, warm coat and absolute enigma of a driver.
"Here's fine," you said, gently tapping the seat in front of you twice in case the sound of rain against glass had drowned out your voice. You caught his gaze in the mirror again, his brows were pulled together, concerned, but he complied and pulled over all the same.
Within a moment of the car slowing to a halt against the path, he turned fully in his seat to face you.
The airport was at least another twenty minute drive and it was a half an hour to the nearest train station. But you'd watched the red numbers on the fair counter as they went up. This was as close as your money could get you.
You shrugged off his coat, the act sluggish and slow with hesitance. As you attempted to hand it back, he pulled away, raising his hands like the item of clothing would burn him.
"Keep it, carinõ. You need it more than me."
You rushed to refuse, practically tossing it back to him. But your fight was short lived and in the end your cabbie reigned victorious.
You reached for the door handle, catching sight of him resetting the fair counter to zero without your payment. He hadn't expected you to see so you decided not to comment.
"There's nowhere else I can take you?" He asked. His voice was so soothing you almost wanted to say yes just to spend more time with him.
You opened the car door, hoping he didn't notice you slipping thirty pound into the pocket of the backseat. It took several attempts of carefully crafted sentences topped with faux confidence to convince him you were fine being left where you were.
“Thank you,” you said, buttoning up his jacket and sending a stiff wave his way. “You've really helped me out.”
Then you were gone, disappearing into the worsening night. And the rain had gotten heavier.
Tumblr media
Jake had always prized himself for his indifference; His ability to stumble upon something and, for the most part, decide that it wasn't his problem.
But as he pulled back onto the road and left you stood on the sidewalk, something that felt an awful lot like guilt settled in his stomach. He didn't know why, he'd done his job; ferried you from A to B. And he'd been generous even at that, given that the rain on your clothes had soaked into the leather seats.
But the way you'd sat huddled up and looking impossibly small in the back seat, it stirred up something in Jake he'd dare call an emotion. He'd offered you his jacket, yes, but that was just being gentlemanly, he assured himself.
The car slowed to a halt at the command of a red light, the rain seeming almost louder now that the car was stationary. Jake turned up the radio. There was an angry rumble of thunder in the distance.
"Ay dios mío." Jake drove through the traffic lights and swerved into the other lane. The worsening weather thankfully meant no one was in attendance to attest to his horrific violation of traffic safety.
A minute of backtracking and you finally came into view, battling your way through the wind and rain, his coat serving as pretty useless armour.
You looked like the human personification of misery.
He stopped the car beside you and rolled the window down, raising his voice over the sound of the rain.
"Get in."
You stared at him as though you'd just experienced the strangest bout of deja vu.
"What?"
"You spend another minute out in this and you'll catch your death and personally I don't want to be responsible for you dying of pneumonia."
He was your cabbie. He shouldn't feel responsible for anything about you. Except perhaps for the fact that he was down twenty-one pound in fairs.
Almost to emphasize Jake's point, you sneezed, sinking into his coat as you did.
God give him strength.
He muttered under his breath, before leaning over his armrest and opening the passenger-side door.
"Come on, don't make me beg."
You regarded him again, much like you did when he first took pity on you and pulled over and Jake suddenly remembered that, yes, this definitely wasn't something regular cabbies did.
"Carinõ, if I had murder on my mind I would have done it back on Leyfield Road." He smirked. "You getting in the car now just lets me have a good night's sleep tonight."
You were skeptical, he could tell. But the feel of his jacket sat heavily against your shoulders seemed to remind you that his intentions were good; or not bad at the very least.
As you stepped off the curb and back into the car, Jake took an unburdened breath for the first time since dropping you off. As he kicked the cab back into gear he stole a glance at you, now sitting to his right.
You were shaking, hair drenched and droplets of water falling down your cheeks and dripping from the end of your nose. He felt like he'd plucked a drowning kitten from the gutter and put it in the front seat, all bundled up in his clothes.
You thanked him and Jake nodded, glad that you hadn't asked for an explanation for his sudden change of profession; from cab driver to protector of the traveller's of the night.
"What now?" you asked instead. A fair question. Jake sighed.
"How do you feel about coffee?"

emotional support rivals | ls18, sp11
Tumblr media
hi! i dont know how to comment on this one, basically i thought that i would try to tame sergio and lance a bit because i know that some people may not like them as much. but they did pretty well here!
anyway, enjoy!
summary: reader is having the worst day of her life aka first day of her period, lance and sergio dont know how to act but they tryna be supportive
warnings: none i think
pairing: lance stroll x fem!mclarendriver x sergio perez
Tumblr media
This day was terrible. And that was it.
But you might ask, how could a day be terrible when it hadn't even had a chance to start? Y/N just felt in her bones that this would be the case. She also knew her current schedule of duties, which considering the current jetlag that weighed heavily on her mind, added quite a bit to her already full plate.
Of course, days like these were allowed to exist; balance in life was the norm. Nevertheless, Y/N fervently wished for this one to, as soon as possible, come to an end.
Unfortunately, a quick end was out of the question, as her alarm had just rung. She struggled to open her sleepy eyes and saw the gloomy 6:30 on her phone's display.
She sighed and sat up in bed, feeling an unpleasant sensation in her stomach. She was familiar with this feeling and it signaled one thing and one thing only.
"Oh no, it can't be."
Y/N muttered under her breath and quickly reached for her phone, opening one of the apps. The notification confirmed her worst fear. "Your period may start today!"
"Fantastic, just fucking fantastic."
In a already bad mood, she tossed her phone into the pillows and got up with a symphony of groans, sighs and curses. As soon as she got out of bed she checked the sheets but the snowy white fabric assured her that today would be a one big roulette of waiting for her period to start.
When she showered and got ready to leave, she also packed her emergency kit for days like this. She had to use it partially though, because the pain in her stomach was simply unbearable. And it wasn't the typical stomach ache that everyone thinks of when they hear 'oh no, my stomach hurts' but this stomach pain was the Lance Stroll of all stomach pains. It doesn't seem to hurt too much, but it spoils your whole mood with its terrible nature.
Since talking about Stroll, it happened like that she still had practice laps that day, which she failed to pass while everyone else did. As it turned out, the same task was waiting for Lance, because in the cafeteria, apart from the busy employees, there was him. And that damn Mexican, too.
"What time are you supposed to be on the track?"
Checo asked from behind her when she was grabbing breakfast from one of the swedish tables.
"What happened to 'hi, good morning'? 'Buenos dias,' at least?"
She muttered, pouring syrup on her pancakes.
"Normally you don't talk to me, so I figured there's no point in trying."
He replied, somewhat thrown off by her response.
"Hello Sergio, nice to see you too and yes, it just happens that we're stuck with each other today. I'm on at 10am, you're ahead of me at 9, and that Aston idiot is at 11."
Y/N said sarcastically, putting on the nicest tone she could muster.
Sergio didn't know how to respond, so when she turned to leave for her table, he simply stepped out of her way.
Lance ate in silence, observing the scene quietly. He was watching the McLaren sun, today completely covered by stormy clouds, going away and sitting alone. Inadvertently his gaze met with Checo, who just shook his head and returned to choosing his breakfast.
Y/N sighed heavily, sitting at one of the empty seats. She ate absentmindedly, not used to the absence of Oscar and Lando. They had different things to attend to that day, so it wasn't unlikely that they wouldn't even cross paths. Maybe it was even better for them; each of them would probably receive a monthly dose of sulking. The charms of being the only girl in the company could be really tough at times.
And it's not that Y/N was a pain in the ass only for Oscar and Lando. She got along well with most people she interacted with daily. A few times she even went out with other girls; she wasn't limiting herself to the company of guys only. Unfortunately, Oscar and Lando had happened to take a particular liking to each other, which made the trio basically unseparable.
There were people with whom she didn't have frequent contact, or with whom she only exchanged smiles in passing but she had never had the chance to exchange a word.
It's also known that in life you can't be liked by everyone and not everyone can be liked by you. In this case, there was no magical exception. It just so happened that she would spend today in the company of those people who sat at the other end of the cafeteria, occasionally throwing her stolen glances.
After finishing her meal, the girl got down to her duties, wanting to bring this day to an end as quickly as possible. At the appointed time, she appeared on the track, quickly changing into her racing suit. She put on her helmet and after a brief discussion of notes, she sat in the car. That's when she felt that something was wrong. The worst-case scenario flashed before her eyes.
"Can I quickly go to the bathroom?"
She asked, looking at the technician nearest to her.
"We're a bit behind schedule. Can it wait?"
Y/N resignedly nodded. She knew there was nothing left to salvage.
She adjusted her straps and when she got the signal to leave the garage, she drove outside and headed straight for the track. After the radio test and receiving permission to start, she clenched her fists and roared the engine.
She was angry and as it's known, there's nothing worse than a female rage.
She was angry at this day, at herself, at this damn car. She was angry at the bloodstain on her damn orange suit, even though she hadn't seen it yet.
She was so hormonal that if it weren't for the helmet restricting her movements, she would have screamed at the top of her lungs.
However, female anger was priceless.
"Best lap time, I repeat, best lap time."
She tightened her grip on the steering wheel, not responding to the message.
In moments like this, she didn't care about anything. And it's pretty well known that a person who doesn't care has nothing to lose.
When the session ended and she received the message that she could pull into the pit lane, she complied. Mechanics rolled her into the garage and only then did it dawn on her that her hands were still clenched on the steering wheel. When she managed to free herself from the car, she immediately checked her seat. She cursed under her breath and took off her helmet, placing it aside. Quickly grabbing the nearest rag, she began to wipe away the stain of shame on her seat. The technician, whom she asked about going to the bathroom before the start, when he realized what had happened and what she was doing, just gave her an apologetic look.
She unzipped her suit and slid its top off, covering the stain on her backside. Zac wanted to congratulate her on the result and discuss the outcomes, but she apologized and grabbed her emergency kit, heading straight to the bathroom. She changed into her unstained clothes, guarded against another unpleasant surprise and bundled up the suit, muttering under her breath that a visit to the laundry awaited her later that day.
When she returned to the McLaren garage, Zac, upon seeing her, immediately smiled.
"Young lady, you charmed us today! You literally flew in that car!"
"I guess that's good, I think."
The girl replied, mustering a smile as she glanced at the monitors in front of her.
"Good? It's brilliant!"
Zac replied with a smile and checked his notes.
"After checking the car, I would ask you to put on your suit again for a moment because we need to do a few more laps on different tires."
"I thought that was it for today."
Y/N replied, looking at him.
"Now, you were driving on mediums; it would be good to know what time you can achieve on the hard compound."
The girl tightened her suit under her armpit.
"But—"
She started, but it felt silly, so she lowered her voice and approached him, "My suit is not suitable."
"How so? What happened?"
He frowned and looked at the bundle she was holding.
"I won't be able to drive in it anymore today."
Zac looked confused, so she just said "period" without using any words. He quickly understood and immediately nodded his head.
"Ask someone if we have another suit in stock. It would mean a lot to me if we could finish these tests today."
Y/N nodded and walked away, sighing heavily when she was out of his reach. However, as it turned out, racing suits are not as straightforward as one might think and the only McLaren suit in this garage was hers—rolled up into a ball of shame and unfit for use. One of the women upon hearing her situation only gave her a comforting hug and suggested borrowing a suit from Sergio or Lance, taking advantage of the fact that they were only drivers nearby. The situation was exceptional and it was all about internal measurements.
Disheartened by the fact that she would be forced to confront the men, she left the garage and looked around. Checo and Lance were sitting nearby, chatting in front of the Aston Martin garage. Y/N gathered herself and approached them, causing them to immediately pause their conversation.
"Can I borrow a suit from either of you?"
"You drive for McLaren, not for Aston or Red Bull."
Sergio said, taking a sip from his bottle. The girl involuntarily clenched her fists. Be professional, she thought and took a deep breath.
"If I didn't have to, I wouldn't ask. I need a suit; mine... is not suitable for driving."
"What happened?"
Lance asked, glancing at her. His expression lacked the hint of malice that Sergio currently possessed.
"I just need one; is that not enough?"
"Give a good reason and I might even give you mine."
Pérez said, crossing his arms.
"I just got my period which means my suit is having a fucking bloodstain on my ass and even though I feel like they're cutting me in half completely alive I have to do some extra laps because this fucking fat idiot didn't think about pitstop to change my tyres and let me go straight to the track" Y/N she spoke quietly and calmly, but her voice was dripping with fury "So do me the pleasure and let one of you give me your overalls before something hits me, for fucks sake."
Lance and Sergio stood still. Sergio's face lost its fierce expression and Lance suddenly realized that he had started holding his breath out of stress.
"I'll give you mine, no problem."
Stroll spoke up, starting to unzip his suit.
"Yours is light, you idiot; if something happens again, everything will be visible."
Pérez scolded him and turned his gaze back to the girl.
"Wait a moment; I'll bring you mine right away."
Y/N nodded and watched him leave.
"Do you feel very bad?"
Lance asked, looking at her. He couldn't wrap his head around how the girl standing in front of him, bleeding and all, could endure such a great strain and still set the best lap time.
"It's been better."
She sighed.
Lance, not knowing exactly what to do or how to help, reached out his hand with a bottle in it. Y/N looked at the bottle first and then at his face. Seeing that he was genuinely concerned, she whispered a quiet 'thanks' and took the water from him.
Sergio returned shortly after, handing her his suit.
"I hope it'll fit well for you."
The girl handed back Lance his water and thanked Pérez as well.
"Good luck, tigresa."
Y/N nodded at them one last time and returned to the garage, changing into the borrowed suit and taking her place in the car again.
As she sat there, waiting for permission to leave the pit lane, she noticed that she wasn't angry anymore, at least not as much as she was some time ago. When she drove out and headed towards the track, she passed Lance and Sergio once again, who were giving her thumbs up.
For the first time that day Y/N genuinely smiled and who would have thought it would be thanks to her rivals, who had now become her emotional support ones?

Hold me tight
summary: Azriel has a nightmare and reader helps him calm down
warnings: none
word count: 1.4k
a/n: hello loves! you know me already by the same username. unfortunately, my old acc got deleted and I am forced to start from scratch so this is my first fic that happened to be the last on the previous acc. I hope you like it!
--------------------------------------------------------
In the middle of the night, you lay flat on your back and stared at the ceiling. The moon was high, filtering in light through your open bedroom window along with the chilly nighttime air of Velaris.
You and Azriel had gotten into bed at ten at night; currently, it was one in the morning. Sleep eluded you, leaving you listening to Azriel’s quiet snores as background noise while your thoughts varying from training to clothes to the chocolate chip cookies in the kitchen cabinet blared front and centre. Finally, unable to take this anymore, you carefully removed the arm draped around your waist, peeled the covers back, and got out of bed.
On nights like this, when sleep would refuse to find you, a book with a hot cup of tea was the best way to lull yourself into a slumber.
The living room was chilly, the cold air hitting your bare arms and legs as you walked in. The fire in the hearth had long burned out, leaving embers glowing in the ashes, casting an orange glow over the room.
You grabbed a big, cosy blanket, tea, and a book and settled on the comfy leather sofa. You sighed in contentment, cuddling into the blanket and laying back while the book rested on your chest. The plan was to read till your eyes started drooping and the words on the pages started blurring.
The house around you was completely silent save for the sounds of your breathing and page-turning. Your teacup rested on the table beside you that you occasionally sipped, hissing as the hot liquid hit your tongue.
You were engrossed in the book, losing all sense of reality. Your breath caught in your throat as the protagonist thrashed in the water, unable to breathe. You felt as if you could hear the gasping, laboured breaths.
"Wait…" you muttered, lowering your book and sitting straight. You could hear that.
Your eyes widened as realisation dawned and you threw the blanket off your body, abandoning the book on the sofa, and ran into your bedroom.
Without even seeing it, you knew what had happened.
Shadows veiled the room, swirling frantically around as if mirroring the turmoil of Azriel’s mind. They cleared a path for you to get to their master and contain the mess of his mind. Through the moonlight filtering in from the window, you spotted Azriel sitting upright in bed. His wings were pulled taut behind his back, the moonlight illuminating the sweat-slicked skin of his sculpted body while his hair slightly blew from the wind entering the room. If it weren’t an emergency, you would have taken your time ingraining this picture in your mind.
Glancing out the window, it seemed as if the weather had taken the form of Azriel’s mood. Strong winds blew outside, rustling the trees, the sounds of leaves thrashing all around. Thunder cracked loudly just before the first drops of rain made it down, and then a full-blown downpour.
Azriel’s gasping, laboured breaths met your ears as your eyes landed on his heaving chest, his quivering arms braced beside him for support, the furrow of his brows, and the pain etched into his features. You sat beside him on your knees and placed a tentative hand on his shoulder to prevent startling him.
“Az?” you whispered quietly.
Azriel turned to you then. The pain, the scars turned to open wounds, the horror, all right there on his face. Your heart broke. He simply looked at you for a moment as if he was trying to make sure it was you he was seeing. He reached out a hand to rest on your cheek. You leaned into his palm, rubbing his shoulder in reassurance.
“I'm here,” you said.
“You’re here,” Azriel repeated as if in a trance. “You’re real,” he said before breaking down completely.
Without wasting a second, you wrapped your arms around him, cradling the back of his head while it rested in the crook of your neck. He sobbed loudly and with each cry that left him, your heart broke further. Your tears broke free until you were crying too, going through all that pain with him. Yet he was your priority so you reigned your tears in and stroked his wings comfortingly.
“It's okay,” you said reassuringly. “I'm right here, baby,” and kissed his head, then his shoulder.
You held him tightly to your body, slightly rocking him back and forth while alternating movements between stroking his wings, running your fingers through his hair, and rubbing his back, till he wasn’t crying anymore. Once Azriel was calmed down enough, you pulled back, hands braced on his shoulders and looked into his watery eyes.
“Baby,” you whispered and rested a hand on his cheek. “What happened?” you asked.
Azriel shook his head as if trying to rid his mind of the horrid visions of his nightmare. You had a pretty good idea what the dream had been about, but talking about it always seemed to help Azriel calm down.
“It's okay,” you assured.
Azriel cleared his throat but still didn’t meet your eyes. You reached for his hand and gave it a squeeze in a show of support.
“I-it was the cellar all over again,” Azriel started, his voice gravelly from crying. “But it wasn’t m-me.” He met your eyes now, sorrow prominent along with another emotion you had never seen on him: shame. “It was you, Y/n.”
Your eyes widened before you clenched them shut. It must have been heart-shattering for Azriel to watch his mate go through the kind of pain he did.
You gave his hands another squeeze in an attempt to get him to continue.
“I tried to save you, but I couldn't move,” he said, on the verge of breaking down again. “I am so sorry I couldn't save you.”
“Azriel,” you said calmly. “It was a dream. It wasn’t real. This is real,” you kissed his lips. “I'm here, I'm real, and right here with you.” You stroked his cheek comfortingly. “We’re okay, baby. Everything is okay.”
You leaned forward to kiss his forehead while your thumb wiped the fallen tears from his cheek. Azriel closed his in comfort at the feeling of your lips on his skin. You stayed there for a second, then pulled back.
Azriel sighed, nodding in understanding. He took a few calming breaths, and you noticed his shadows around the room beginning to calm down as well, sneaking away into their usual resting places around the room. Outside, the rain seemed to have calmed a little, settling into a comforting trickle eliciting sounds of droplets hitting the streets.
Azriel looked around the room as if getting reacquainted then turned to you with furrowed brows.
“Where were you?” he asked, sniffling.
“Living room,” you answered. “Couldn’t sleep.” You took a moment to look at his face: the still shaken look in his eyes, his tear-stained cheeks, and the sweat that made his hair stick to his forehead. You gently brushed the hair back before bringing your hand back to rest on his shoulder.
“Can I get you anything?” You asked. “Some tea maybe?” Chamomile always calmed Azriel down after a nightmare when he’d refuse to sleep in fear of it coming back.
Azriel nodded.
You kissed his cheek again before exiting the room to make some tea for him. On the way back, you grabbed your own cup as well and went up to your bedroom.
Azriel was staring expectantly at the door when you walked in and smiled at him.
“Here you go,” you handed him his cup while settling in beside him. You sipped on your own tea as you both looked at the rain outside the window. Even with the storm, Velaris managed to look magnificently beautiful.
“What were you doing outside?” Azriel asked.
You told him about the book you had been reading.
“At one point, this character was drowning in the book and it said he was taking gasping laboured breaths,” you said and Azriel listened intently. “And I thought my imagination had gotten so good I could hear it...but turned out it was you,” you finished sheepishly.
Azriel laughed heartily, shaking his head. “My darling mate,” he teased.
You grumbled “It's not my fault. I was really into it.”
Azriel laughed once again before pulling you into him. The two of you spent some time holding each other before you lay down with Azriel’s head on your chest. Soon, his snores filled the room once again, this time lulling you to sleep as well.

Son Chaeyoung x Park Jihyo x male reader
A friend calls you, after a long day working, he decided to call you to make a camp with her friend's, of course you are in the list, and some time later, you are already there, with some drinks and food, you wave him and start to socialize with everyone there, until you get closer to a interesting tanned girl, and a small one, they can't be who you think they are, that it's just a coincidence.
"Hey, you are?..." You asked to the girls, and your suspects start to getting confirmed, when you hear the tanned one respond "Park Jihyo", and short one "Son Chaeyoung", you started to talk and and socialize with them, they look pretty and elegant, you bring them drinks and food, you are trying to be cool with them, and you stop to think, "why?" You still talking while you think, you have no chances, they are idols, probably they will forget about your existance in the morning.
You still enjoying the weather, and the environment, you still serving them, but just like you do normally, after all they are persons, and they deserve to get treated like that.
You ignore the fact that they are idols to know them better, except that there is something you can't ignore, Jihyo when talks to you play with her hair, and Chaeyoung bite her down lip, while she is listening to you, you try to avoid your pathetic romatic situation, after some time, all the people there make a circle near to the bonfire, to play to the bottle game, your luck is shit, of course you didn't kiss neither of the idols presents there (more than just Jihyo and Chaeyoung), finally giving up and starting to get disappointed, you take your beer and go to seat to the forest, only with your flashlight and your phone in case of emergency.
Nobody noticed that you aren't there, and you relaxed, your vision is blurring a little bit, but you are consious enough to get sit and hear the people screaming and dancing with the loud music.
When you get bored you go for a non-alcoholic drink to get back to your place in the forest, but a little bit far this time, because of the music, you didn't notices someone was following you, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung both of them sitting with you.
Are you enjoying this? —Chaeyoung asked— I was... Thinking —You responded— But I'm getting fun —Both of them were in your vision field, until they start to whispering between them, and soon, Jihyo asked you something— Soon they will need some wood, let's look for some logs.
Soon you are walking with them, talking about their life, listening to the most unreal stories you could hear from a person, they are incredible, like... They almost doesn't look like people, when you can't see the lights of the party, you started to get worried, you take out your phone... But no signal.
"We need to go back" you said very worried, but Chaeyoung use his flashlight to point a rock path, making you feel relieved, but you questioned yourself "why we are so far away?", soon your cuestion was responded by Jihyo, pushing you against a tree, with Chaeyoung in your back, massaging your shoulders.
Chaeyoung start to explaining —you are handsome, and we are bored, we are tired of people treating us as goddesses or queens— And Jihyo continued —and you deserve a rest, so let us pay you for being a cool guy with us—.
Jihyo untied the buttons of your leather jacket, and start to touching your not so toned body, you were getting a little bit careless with your body because of the extra hours in the job.
After a quick check he took you to heaven, while Jihyo was kissing you, Chaeyoung take your phone and turned it off, the moon was the unique light in the place.
It was your first time with someone that good kissing, you even take the dare to grab Jihyo's Waist while you were kissing, making here release a very cute moan, making you notice she is very needy, you remembered even more that she is a human, not idol who she was in the scenarios.
You opened your eyes and you look Chaeyoung, licking her lips, then she pushed Jihyo, and you see a very sexy scene, they get a very sloppy and wet kiss.
Then both of them look at you, full of lust, they pushed you against the tree, Jihyo get on her knees, and Chaeyoung squatted, waiting for Jihyo, Chae look at you pouting.
Jihyo took down your pants, revealing your oversized hard cock, hearing multiple jokes of shy people with big dicks, and monster hide in the dark.
After the surprise, Jihyo start to slapping his face with your cock, scattering some of your precum on his face, and when she is ready, she putted half of you 13.5 inches cock, but she didn't get a single gag, surprising you, then Chae grabbed her neck, making her swallow the full length, making her choke, but Chae didn't leave her until she was crying, releasing her, falling in his own butt on the floor, starting to laugh.
Chae said "my turn" and quickly she grabbed your cock and compared it with his face, it was a little bit longer than his face, then she take out his tongue, and started to licking your balls, and your enormous cock was covering her, that was a great image that you will never forget, she was playing with your tip while she sucks your balls, you looked to the sky feeling in heaven, you still not believing that a fucking idol was sucking your cock.
When another round of precum go out, Chaeyoung started to sucking you, but in a very special way, it was like she was jerking you, and sucking at the same time, but she was only using her mouth, when Jihyo recovered from the choke, she get on her knees, and Chaeyoung make space for her, now both of them were sucking you, doing things that you wouldn't even imagine.
Things like jerk you with two hand, (one of each), suck interleaved, make each other choke and gag in your cock, pushing between them into deepthoath, and the most incredible thing? Both of them was edging you, not letting you cum at all, you feel like you was there for hours, but only 30 minutes passed, and you was in your limit, and Jihyo and Chae get up, starting to stripping, revealing a sexy cleavage, that got quickly removed, to show his underwear, to got quickly removed, and you decided to copy them, showing your full naked body to them, even with the cold weather, all of you are about to get heat.
You came back to a normal state and Jihyo put her enormous breasts around your cock, getting fun on Chae little ones, you got a laugh too, but she get closer to you and put one of them in your mouth, of course you started to sucking Chae little breasts.
After sometime of Jihyo doing an amazing titjob, Chae got in there, sucking the tip of your cock, until you reach your limit, and when you say to them, finally let you cum, and Chae take every single drop, not letting waste, she take it all, and then gets up, to show you, but instead of swallowing it, she started to kissing Jihyo, to share your big load, making you feel very excited, and hard again.
When they swallow it all, they show you, linking their hands, making you feel like your body it's floating in space.
Finally, they make get on the floor, using the clothes as bed, and you reached the glory and success in your life, Jihyo mounted you, she got down, and after a seconds of adjust your cock in her pussy, she finally mounted you, his experienced pussy swallow your entire shaft without a single hesitation, she was soft and warm, then she started to jump, mounting you, she was moaning and looking to the sky "it's my first time with something this big" she said, you was speechless, but she kissed you, your hand were looking a safe place, but Chae helped you, getting to her breasts, making Jihyo moan even louder, her nipple were hard rock, and while Jihyo was enjoying, Chae was touching herself, close enough, sitted in your leather jacket, some minutes passed, and Jihyo in top of you, got his hand on the floor, letting her being even more agressive, but something unexpected happened, Chae isn't anymore touching herself, and Jihyo was in the most wonderful and happy expression a woman can be, and you started to move your hips, you can't let her do all the work, and Chae appeared on her back suddenly, pushing her from the back, making you penetrate raw his ass, making her make a pain but pleasured scream.
Chae said "You have fun with my small tits? Now have fun~" in a malevolent tone, then she pushed Jihyo even more, almost three quarters of your length was in her ass, then she pushed the final section, making Jihyo cum, she make so many sounds, she got out, and she threw himself at your side, cumming thru the pain and pleasure, while she was resting a little, Chae taked care of you, mounting you in a very interesting wild way, we linked our fingers, but finally you decided to take control and get on top, making a missionary, you started to sucking and bitting his neck, then finally both of you cum, you filled a idol with your cum, and images of her getting pregnant comes to your mind, but you shaked your head, and kissed her, leaving her satisfied.
Jihyo got his legs together, and you maked her lay down, next to Chae she didn't stop you, so with your last effort, you put your cock between her ass cheeks, rubbing you between them, until you are hard again, using her ass again, pounding her from behind, Chae got in front of her, and Jihyo was licking the cum from her pussy, both of them was moaning, and groaning in pleasure, finally you bite Jihyo's shoulder and you cum on his tight ass, leaving a mark that she will never forget.
The three of you were naked in the floor, hugging when dawn starts to come, and then you start to dress, the girls do it to, except from her underwear, before you can ask why, both of them are in your pocket, and when you turn on your phone, you feel like you were the most lucky guy in the world, before of getting off your phone, Chae saved Jihyo and her own phone number.
"Call us 💋"

Billy and an ex-outlaw reader who has a bit of ptsd? If you’re still in the market for prompts :)
Omg I have so many of yalls prompts writings in progress....trynna write between school and work. Nonnie, iiiii dk if this is written right might make part 2.
(Me writing during work: you write porn w the same hands you serve coffee ?)
Jesse and his boys were old acquaintances of yours.
Though you never did ride with them, you've crossed paths with their lot quite a few times. What started out as a rivalry had turned into more like friendly competition before you had earned their respect by saving their asses more times you can count.
But when your crimes had caught up to you, resulting in much bloodshed involving your family back at home well...you werent eager to get back in business.
Fact is, you've left your past behind and settled down a little way off a lone town, behind a beautiful spread of a meadow.
A cozy barn, small and snug.
Just like your momma had always wanted.
So when a familiar group of cowboys come trotting through the meadow....let's say you werent all that pleased.
"Jesse,"
You tip your hat at the blonde astride his horse.
"Boys,"
"Well, look who's alive,"
He laughed, swinging off his horse and sweeping you into a crushing hug. You softened with a sigh, patting him on the back.
When you'd decided to settle, he'd kicked up such a fuss, mad that you decided to leave in your prime.
You were like the gang's little sister, or maybe an annoying cousin that swings by every now and then.
"Here lemme introduce you to-"
"Billy,"
You were suddenly aware of the towering fella who had emerged abruptly from the group. Dark curls peeking out from his hat, broad shoulders and a rugged air to him, he was a handsome one. But what takes the cake was his piercing blue eyes, fixed unwaveringly on you.
It would be intimidating if not for how subtly they raked over your body.
"Eyes up here cowboy,"
You mutter to the man lowly, gripping his outstretched hand in a firm shake.
"Replaced me so soon, jesse?"
You turn back to the blonde, raising a brow at him.
"Well doll, Billy heres quite the gunslinger, maybe even better than ya,"
You swat playfully at his chest, a round of laughter rising from the group. Jesse chuckles, before he shrugs, kicking at the ground. You know that look.
"So my boys and I need to lay low for awhile and well..."
He raised his brows at you, a sliver of a sheepish smile on his lips.
"Hell no, jesse, you know I'm out,"
You huffed, shaking your head firmly. Annoyance rises like a whip in your chest, you alway were quick to temper.
"You know that, after what happened...."
"Aw c'mon, just a couple o' weeks? We promise we wont bring you no trouble, we'll even help out-"
You held up a finger, trying hard to maintain your stern facade.
"I cant risk it, such a large group of men, oh I swear to god-"
"Using the lord's name in vain-"
Jesse attempted at a joke before swallowing his words when met with your burning scowl. His group stirs uneasily behind him.
"Just a week?"
Billy's voice rang out. He steps forward, blue eyes pleading as a warm smile crack over his lips. You sighed, ready to turn down his offer.
"Towns people talk, what if they see y-"
"We'll do chores, we'll earn our keep, surely you can use the rest, miss? It's a big place to take care of,"
Now that, was tempting. Your barns not huge but you're only one person, and the day passes quick when you busy about with the chores. And to add on, a group of men you trust does put your worries at ease.
Living away from town always had the threat of robberies and whatnot, especially for a lone girl like yourself. You've hidden pistols everywhere in the house, one slung around your hip, though you're never sure if you'd be able to pull the trigger on someone when it comes down to it...
What a joke, you used to be one of the most feared outlaw with an aim as true as the sky is blue.
Now you cant even stand the sound of your door slamming.
"Fine,"
You finally relented, clicking your tongue with a jerk of your head to allow the group to flood into your house.
They cheered and hollered, Jesse and slapping Billy on the back before heading in.
"G'job butterin' her up Billy boy!"
"Y'better believe I'll be working the lot of you to your bones!"
You huffed after him, before turning back to Billy.
"And you! I swear t'God if any of yall give me trouble I'm coming for you first!"
He leans close, tipping his hat at you with a smirk on his stupidly handsome face.
"Your wish is my command, pretty,"
Billy brushes past, leaving you all flustered and red in the cheeks , with a looming dread that you've got more than a few rowdy cowboys to worry about.
What did your momma used to say?
Butterflies in your damn stomach.
(Haiii I'm lowkey bad at story stuff might make a part 2...? If yall want? Gimme some ideas what you wanna see in part 2 if you want)

-The most wonderful time of the year?- Part 2
Part 1
Tumblr media
Pairing:Melissa Schemmenti x Reader
Gender: hurt, fluff
Warnings : (+18) strong words, fights.
Summary:Melissa makes the worst mistake of her life by letting you go when things don't go the way you wanted them to. Years later, fate pulls you together again, Melissa just hopes it's not too late to fix things.
I'm officially on vacation, so I hope I can write some more! Thank you for continuing to send requests, little by little I am answering all of them. I hope you have a beautiful year!
Melissa was stunned to see the hall where you had gone, it was as if the ghost of the past had visited her, all her bad decisions were coming back to her head, even things she had avoided thinking about for years had come back to haunt her. Why had she left you? Why did you look so happy since you left her? Why had you come back and no one told her anything? Were you avoiding her or was it a coincidence that she didn't cross paths with you before? Was she right to leave you to get on with your life and dreams? If it had been the right thing to do, why was she hesitating so much?
Why hadn't anyone told her that you had come back and that your son was going to the same school where she worked, if almost everyone knew that you had been her girlfriend? Why Barbara, her best friend, didn't say nothing, anything? Melissa looked at her friend who started packing her bag faster as she felt the redhead watching her
-"Why?..."-Mel asked in a very weak tone and her friend didn't dare to look at her
-"Why what?"-the older one played dumb
-"Why you didn't tell me she was back?..."-Her voice sounded pained, as if her friend had committed the worst betrayal, Barbara had never seen Mel so hurt by her fault and she was not liking it.
-"Mel... I'm so sorry, she asked me to... She told me she would bring her son here because it was close to work and because she had no one else to leave him with. She begged me not to tell you because she wanted to be calm without going through the pain of seeing you again... You know we promise parents confidentiality with some things and even though I wanted to tell you I couldn't... I am sorry..."-Barbara spoke in a calm tone, and her friend sighed in pain
-"It is ok Barb, I understand... How long has it been since she came back?"-Mel needed to know
-"About 3 months?... She told me they came back because of a job offer she had...I promise you that's all I know"-Her friend responded by trying to redeem herself
-"Thanks Barb... Let's go home"-Mel talked before going with her friend to the car.
For the next few weeks, Melissa watched you from afar every time you dropped off your son in the mornings and picked him up in the afternoons. Also in the recesses or lunches that she had to supervise, she observed your little one very carefully, seeing all the similarities that you and he had, you both had the same eyes that shone when you smiled and that laughter that animated any person every time you let you show it. The two of you frowned in the same way when something displeased you and your little one loved pasta just like you. It made Melissa happy to see how much the two of you looked alike, it made her feel like you were close and that she already knew your son because of how much you looked alike with him.
More than once, Mel saw how you were late to pick him up because your work took longer than expected due to some emergency, your son was used to waiting for you and was well-behaved, but she was worried that you had no one to give you a hand when unexpected things came up.
One day in particular, the hospital where you worked had called the school saying that it would take a while to get there because you were doing a big surgery, but Barbara hadn't come to work that day, so Mel offered to take care of your little one until you arrived. Your son had no problem staying with the redhead because he had already gotten used to seeing her at school, although at first he had stayed with her playing on the carpet and listening to the book that Mel read to him, soon he fell asleep curled close of the teacher, since he had had gymnastics that day and had exhausted his energy.
When you arrived at school you were surprised to see how the two of them were snuggled together while Melissa stroked his hair and your son slept soundly, at first the scene gave you tenderness, it allowed you to imagine how things would have been if you and Mel had started a family, but that same thought made you angry because you remembered everything that had happened with her. In order to get the redhead's attention and not scare them, you cleared your throat. Mel stood up carefully with your son in her arms, who settled on her chest with his thumb in his mouth, there were times when you forgot how small he was and that he was only three years old because of how well he behaved and understood everything. The redhead handed you your son carefully, you laid him on your chest thanking the heavens that he didn't wake up and murmured a soft thank you to her before turning to leave, but she grabbed your arm making you stop and you sighed
-"If you ever need it, I can take care of him if you want from time to time... You're not alone, you know"-Melissa whispered and you looked into her eyes
-"Look Melissa, I appreciate you taking care of him because Barbara wasn't here today, but I don't want you to get involved in our life, got it?"-Your tone was soft because your son was asleep, but your words were harsh
-"Hon, I'm sorry about what happened between us, but it's not wrong to ask for help, you don't need to do it all if someone it's offering to help you..."- she repeated and you sighed, you were too tired for this
-"I'll ask for help if I need it or I'll manage on my own, I just don't want your help, I don't want you near him"-You responded by looking seriously how her face transformed as she listened to you
-"Please I'm not a bad influence on him, you know I'm good with kids, I'm just offering you help, you don't have to be that mean..."- she responded with annoyance
-"I'll refresh your memory in case you don't remember, you left me, at Christmas, because you didn't want to have children or have a future with me, so don't come to pretend to be a good person to me or to him, because you were the one who let go of the opportunity to have a family, you let go of the opportunity to continue relating to me or my son. If you were so repulsed by the idea of having children or getting married, I don't want you around pretending that you want to take care of him or get to know him, because you don't deserve to know what a beautiful person MY son is... I didn't come back to rub this in your face, I just came back because I needed a better paying job so I could take care of him... "-Your tone of voice rose, but you tried not to scream so you wouldn't wake your child
-"I came back from you! You were the one that disappeared, I realize pretty soon what a big mistake I made and try to get back to you... I visited your family and they didn't wanna tell me where you were... I tried to call you and you changed your number, I went to see your sisters and I put up with their screams and insults just to see you, but no one wanted to tell me anything about you... I went every year, three times a year every dam year... I'm sorry okay? I was so stupid when I let you go... I just didn't wanted to hold you back on the things that you dreamed of..."-Melissa was someone with a lot of strength, but right now she looked so weak and fragile, so hurt and needy, she looked so remorseful
-"I wanted all that, I wanted marriage, pets, and children with all my heart, but I wanted to do it with you... And you let me go so easily..."-Your voice sounded hurt, too
-"And I regret it every day, every second that pass...As soon as you left, I realized that my life wasn't worth living if I couldn't share it with you, I would have given everything to have you by my side again, my stupid pride, my stupid ideas and everything I am, I would have left it for you to come back to me. It's been 5 years and there's not a moment where I don't think about you, how much I miss you and how stupid I was to let you go. How stupid I was to reject the things you wanted, that you wished you had, how stupid I was to have missed a life with you and him. Because now that I know him and see how happy he makes you, I realize what a big mistake I made by not joining you in this, you're an amazing mother and I would be lucky to be with you taking care of him..."-Mel whispered looking into your eyes and you sighed not knowing what to say or do. You didn't know what would have happened if Mr. Johnson hadn't come in to tell you he needed to close the school. You and Mel left school quietly, and after a simple goodbye, you each went to your cars and home.
The days began to pass, and though you hadn't spoken any more after that night, you noticed how something had changed between you two but you didn't know that. Melissa also noticed how now you recognized her presence with at least a small smile when you left your son at school and saw her, that little smile was enough to make her happy all week, seeing that you didn't despise her anymore made her the happiest woman in the world.
For your part, you wanted to talk to Melissa again but you were scared and didn't know if it would be the right thing to do or what excuse to use to do it.
It wasn't until a work conference coincided with you not being able to get a good babysitter that you had a good excuse to talk to her, but still, you consulted with your son before
-"Theo, mama has a work conference for a few hours, do you want to stay with the neighbor and her children?"-You asked your son but he shook his head, looking at you a little sadly
-"I want to stay at home... The neighbo's childen ade noisy and won't let me do what I like"...-He muttered, trying to cross his arms angrily, but it gave you tenderness when you saw that they were a little crooked and he couldn't cross it properly
-"It's fine, but I can't get the babysitter who always comes... Would it be okay if you stay with Melissa? The teacher at your school who stayed with you when I couldn't get there quickly, do you remember her?" - You consulted and he smiled a lot, nodding excitedly and jumping up and down
-"Yes, please, she does the best voices when deading and takes cade of me when the olde kids tease me, I like hed, mama!"-Your little one spoke excitedly and you sighed with relief when you saw that he agreed, you didn't know who else to call if he didn't want to stay with her. Praying to the heavens, you called the redhead and explained the situation, she agreed and in less than 15 minutes the eldest was already at your home. As soon as she arrived, you took the opportunity to get ready to go to the hospital and quickly explained some things to her
-"If you see that he wants to cry and you can't find an obvious reason, it is likely that something is overwhelming him, it may be loud noises or that the texture of his clothes are making him uncomfortable, in that case turn down the volume of things and offer him his pajamas, those clothes always calm him down... If you or him are hungry, there's food in the fridge, if he's sleepy, a bottle of milk before bed helps him sleep better... He knows how to go to the bathroom on his own... Let me think if I remember anything else"-You spoke quickly, and the redhead laughed, putting her hands on your shoulders and guiding you to the door so you wouldn't be late. Her hands felt firm but loving, as they did years ago when you started to get distracted from doing what you needed to do and she gently guided you.
-"Remember that I'm with kids almost all day, I know how to take care of them and if not, I'll send you a message, okay?"-She spoke and you nodded going to open the car, your son ran next to the redhead hugging her leg and waved at you with his little hand
-"Goodbye baby! Behave yourself and listen to Melissa, I love you my boy!" - You screamed smiling when you saw how comfortable he felt around Melissa, something that wasn't normal with other people. Then you looked up at the redhead smiling kindly-"Really thank you... I didn't know who else to call, I'll be back as fast as I can"-You smiled nervously
-"It's the least I can do... Go or you'll be late!"-The eldest spoke and you got in the car to go to the hospital.
A few minutes later, Melissa watched as your little son entertained himself without causing her any troubles, he painted and played with blocks while soft music played in the background.
She took time to observe a little, there was still a lot boxes on the house, but she could already tell that you two were turning it into a home. There were many pictures on the wall, mostly yours and your son and some with your family, she smiled when she saw one with all your friends in which she was included. There were many books on the shelf too, the top ones were yours and the ones at the bottom were your son's. The Christmas tree was the same, although Melissa knew that you loved to keep order even in the decorations, you had let your little one decorate as well, making most of the balls and stars be at the bottom of the tree where the little boy could reach, Mel laughed tenderly at this.
There were toy boxes in various places and the lights were soft, accompanying the fireplace light, giving a warm atmosphere to the house.
When she turned around, your son was looking at her with his eyes wide open
-"Miss Melissa... My mom said you wed a teached too like Ms. Howad, can you help me do my homewodk so my mom can sleep when she adives? Pweease?"-Your son begged her with big puppy eyes and the redhead nodded excited.
A couple of hours later, after doing homework, eating together, and playing some more, your son brushed his teeth, and after Melissa gave him a bottle of milk and read him a story, he fell asleep smiling and hugging a stuffed animal that she recognized, it was yours when you were a kid.
When you got home, everything was neat, clean and quiet, the redhead was sitting on the couch grading some of her students' papers. Seeing you enter, Melissa took off her glasses and smiled softly at you as she saw your tired face
-"Theo is sleeping, he did his homework, played, ate, brushed his teeth, and put on his pajamas before bed... We also sorted the toys together and after he fell asleep I arranged the rest, made pasta in case you are hungry" - Melissa spoke in a whisper to avoid waking your son, she also put her cell phone and papers in her purse before getting up to leave
-"I don't know how to thank you... It's rare that he stays with just anyone, he sees you as someone special"-You confessed and she smiled
-"He's special, I could spend hours playing with him and listening to all the things he knows about animals... Thank you for letting me help you and for trusting me to be with him... I'll go so you can rest, good night..."-The redhead gently caressed your arm giving you a small smile before leaving.
Weeks began to pass and the distant greetings turned into small chatter that was then followed by messages late into the night. You didn't know it was going on, you were just letting it flow.
A month after Christmas came your son's birthday, he gave his invitations at schools to whomever he wanted, and you were really surprised to see when Barbara, Mr. Johnson and Melissa arrived at the party you had organized for him. Your son was through the roof when he saw them and spent the whole party laughing and playing a lot with the other children. Your family was there too, and your sisters were looking at Melissa badly but you told them to control themselves.
When it came to opening presents, Melissa had given your son clothes with the same fabric as his pajamas to make him feel comfortable, that made you smile as you realized how much attention she had paid to him. Also she brought you a small puppy, to fulfill your dream of having a pet. Even though you knew your child would say it was for him, you almost burst into tears when you saw the little puppy.
A couple of hours passed at the party, your son, your new puppy and his friends were playing and singing with Barbara and Mr. Johnson, Melissa was sitting on the couch that was in the courtyard where the party was, you carefully sat down next to her and rested your head on her shoulder letting out a tired sigh and closing your eyes. Mel just looked at you and smiled, putting her arm behind your shoulders, bringing you closer to her, begging you not to walk away
-"You know... The first year you showed up looking for me, I saw you, but I didn't come out because I was mad at you... The following year I started to miss you and wanted to see you, but days before you went, I found out that the treatment had worked and that I was already pregnant and I thought that if I saw you, you would be scared and reject me again... Then the baby was born and I was even more afraid to see you... That's why I stayed away, it wasn't out of anger at you anymore, it was fear of rejection again... But I'm happy to see you again and to see that Theo is happy being with you too..."-You whispered and the redhead hugged you closer to her body
-"(Y/N)... I know how much I messed up and I want to see if I can fix this, because I don't want to miss another second away from you two, would you like to go on a date with me and your son?... If you don't want to, I understand, but if I didn't ask you I know I'll regret it"-She spoke sincerely, expecting you would reject her and push her away, but you just hugged her tighter taking advantage of her scent and the heat that her body radiated
-"We'd love to..."-You whispered, hiding more in her neck, watching your son's happiness and listening as the redhead's heart almost came out of her chest.
-"By the way, your sisters have been looking at me like they want to kill me since I arrived, but since you sat next to me, it seems like they're shooting lightning at me" - She whispered and you laughed
-"I know, so be careful what you do this time because if you don't, I'll let them do it"-You responded jokingly

Disaster - Chase The Mirage
pairing -> Cyno x Adventurer!Reader x Tighnari; poly
word count -> 2,490 words
themes -> injury, healing, angst with comfort, disliking scars
(masterlist) (next) Two Akademiya giants, infatuated and hooked to a simple adventurer from the Adventurer’s Guild. But their love is powerless in comparison to the danger you face daily.
Tumblr media
It started off as any other normal day, and that was why Tighnari wasn't expecting anything.
There were no Withering emergencies he had to tend to, no adventurer dumb enough to bite another mushroom, no incidents in the patrol routes he'd assigned.
It was so peaceful and pleasant, so much so that when the rain suddenly poured as expected of the forest's unpredictable weather, it didn't bother him.
He embraced the petrichor, gazed at the droplets hitting his face like a soothing massage from nature. In the middle of Ghandarva Ville under the sky's shower, he had found peace with himself.
Which is why when his ears picked up the sound of familiar footsteps and saw the approach of his cloaked lover, he gave it no deeper thought, even throwing a smile.
It only fell when Cyno didn't smile back.
That was his first sign, and when the hairs on the back of his neck all stood, each warning became apparent from focus.
The persistent stench of something metallic despite no signs of injury on Cyno, the way his eyes were darkened even after he had pulled down his hood, and the last evidence he needed was the red stains under the general's nails.
He reads the singular word that moved his lips for the rain (and the ringing in his ears) blocked his ability to hear.
"Bismartan."
And he fled without waiting for him to follow.
It was only when he saw your unconscious form surrounded by doctors and healers did Cyno gave him the liberty of the truth.
There was a commission in the desert that you accepted, to accompany a Fontaine merchant group through the desert. At one point of the relatively safe journey, the caravan had to detour upon the sight of camping Eremites.
Past the ruin golem in the Valley of Dahri.
A child of a merchant couple strayed too far from the path in hopes of getting a closer view of the Khaenri'ah technology, and the moment he was in the vicinity, the golem identified its target and shot. In that moment, you pushed the kid out of golem's area of reach.
If not for the fact that he was stationed by Caravan Ribat by that time, he wouldn't have heard the full story.
He remembers seeing the caravan scrambling through the entryway, one merchant cradling a body covered in cloth, in a color that failed to hide the red seeping through. The commotion caused the Corps of Thirty and his entourage to check up on them.
"Please, where is the nearest hospital?! We're in an emergency!"
"What happened here? You don't look like you're from around here, and Bismartan is hours away."
The moment he lifted the cloth to see the damage, everything around him seized to exist.
He was shouting orders, taking you in his arms the next, and soon he found himself sprinting through the forest with the fastest merchant trying to catch up.
"I'm sorry." Tighnari's ears twitched, slowly raising his head from looking at the floor to Cyno.
"What are you saying sorry for?" But he knew why, he knew better than anyone.
You were in the desert, Cyno's territory. Long ago they've had an agreement to keep you safe whenever you crossed either of their territories, to look out for you when the other couldn't.
"For not being there." Looking ahead, the sound of the doctors and nurses scrambling inside became clearer, your breathing too if he would focus. Tighnari wanted to comfort Cyno, but right now all he wants is to close his eyes and forget everything.
Forget this reality.
Forget the world that dared to hurt you.
"It's not your fault."
But he desperately wants to blame someone.
A week had gone by before the doctors finally allowed Tighnari's insistence to discharge you for him to take care of in Ghandarva Ville. While you're not in critical condition anymore, you were still resting 24/7 due to the medicine sedating you.
The forest ranger felt more at ease having you near for him to tend to than to check up on you everyday, trekking through the forests just to reach Bismartan. In the comforts of his home, as he lays you on his bed where you'll be staying for the duration of your stay, he sighs a relief.
"Will they... be okay?"
Cyno turns away from the sight to look at the person peering through the entrance shyly, urging Collei to get inside after getting permission from the general. There they stood side by side, a respectable distance from where Tighnari was silently stroking your bandaged hand.
"They'll be okay." With a shaky sigh, he closed his eyes.
It isn't long before Ghandarva Ville fell into a new routine during your period of rest. Even tho Tighnari made himself as available as he could be, the forest rangers knew he would rather be in the headquarters than outside doing mindless patrols.
Rangers took more tasks, watchers started leading more, and Tighnari's workload easing up. Everyone can feel the unrest in the village but none dared speak up about it, not wanting to sour their chief's already stale mood. They can see it in the way his ears droop, his eyes twitch, his sighs ever so loud.
No matter how much he tries to deny it, he was teethering on the edge of sanity, irritable more than usual.
Cyno, the General Mahamatra, had also been sighted frequently. Unlike before when he'd only visit for important matters or for dinner, this time he was more present than ever before. Half of his time would be used to stay by the village with Collei, assisting in whatever way he could.
Rangers had the rare chance to witness Cyno clearing a Withering Zone by himself, and the many miracles after of him tending to forest ranger work. It wasn't long before they realized his intentions. He was taking up a part of his lover's work so he can focus on nursing you back to health.
Sometimes, if they don't see Cyno, it would be Tighnari out and about to keep the forest rangers together.
But after an incident where the Akademiya paid him visit on a day he was at his limit, the rangers started to appreciate Cyno's presence more when they watched their head forest watcher bare his teeth in warning.
Collei had also been pushing herself to her limits yet carefully maneuvering herself to not overwork to the point of bed rest. This wasn't her first time taking charge for Tighnari, but this was a time that she was needed the most.
Perhaps it was because she knew Master Tighnari and Lord Cyno best, knew that they needed the support more than anything, that she would go to great lengths to be there for them. Collei would be seen entering and exiting Tighnari's hut the most, either to fetch something or to send the reports the others may have.
Every time she leaves their head's dwelling, she would look a little nervous. But Collei would always shake her head and pat her cheeks, the determination quickly brightening her violet eyes as she walks away to her destination.
"This is the third time this week."
Cyno sighed after making sure you were sound asleep once again. Tighnari only sighed by his desk before his hand crumples up the letter he was writing.
The people of Sumeru do not dream, but despite hailing from a foreign land, nightmares won't stop plaguing your sleep. It was only recent that you've become more acquainted with the waking world due to the lowering of your dosage. And after a month, the trauma of the incident still follows you where they couldn't be of help.
Leaving a kiss to your forehead, Cyno made his way over to Tighnari who was starting a new letter.
"You've been here for too long." Leave it to the forest ranger to put things so bluntly. Even if Cyno knew he meant to talk about how he's needed by the Matra sooner than later, it still pained him.
"They can wait, (Y/N) needs us." His hand lands on his lover's shoulder, lightly squeezing it. "And so do you."
The quill in his hand fell from his grip, tainting the unfinished letter and the extra parchment underneath with dark splotches of ink. Tighnari can't even begin to describe what he's feeling right now but he knows he's been scared this whole time, something that Cyno had picked up long ago.
"I can't - I can't finish this letter." Cyno was quick to hold his trembling hand, squeezing it with reassurance before pulling him off the chair for a quick hug.
"I'll take care of it, go rest, I can see the bags under your eyes even in this lighting."
Only when he saw the forest watcher take his spot next to your resting form did he finally turn back towards the ruined table, cleaning up the mess, and picking up the quill. Hearing the soft snores of another did he finally sigh out heavily.
"I'm not sure if I could finish this either." But he starts the first stroke anyways, trying his best to steady his writing hand.
'Dear Uncle Cyrus,
may this letter find you well. There's something that you need to know...'
You can't help the shiver that wracks your entire body despite the fact that you've dealt with this everyday now. And every time, whoever it was between your lovers that spreads the cold aloe vera on your burns, would pause and ask if you were alright.
"I'm okay." You try your best to reassure them with a smile, but they would simply sigh and go back to spreading the balm.
It was like you woke up in a new world where your lovers were replaced. And while you'll never know what had transpired in the day of the accident and the period following up to your consciousness, it was undeniable that the damage wasn't just on you.
The critical injuries were tended to thanks to the vision wielder healers of Bismartan, yet the fact that almost every inch of your body was covered with bandages was testament that you didn't exactly escape scot-free.
Collei would look at the bandages with distant recognition, before assuring you with a bounced back smile that things will get better.
It will get better, it's just a matter of when.
Not just for your body, for yourself, for the itch of adventure - no. Slowly sitting up from your spot on the bed, your gaze wanders to the sleeping faces of your boyfriends. As gently as you could, you cup their cheeks to stroke at the darkening circles under their eyes.
They look so exhausted. Maybe more than you. Who knows what they've been through while you were gone?
"Don't worry about us, focus on your own recovery."
For every pain that shot through your body, there would always be a soothing presence by your side.
For every trip or stumble, a guiding hand immediately steadies you.
So you try your best to smile through it, anything to give back and reassure your lovers that things are going as well as they could. That the nightmares don't bother you, that the uneventful days doesn't eat away at your sanity.
But Cyno and Tighnari are your lovers for a reason.
As you stand in front of the full body mirror, bandages removed to be replaced soon, they do not miss the way your eyes linger on every glaring red patch of skin. Look so distant as your eyes roamed your form riddled with the scars of your sacrifice.
Do you regret your decisions?
As Cyno urges you away to shower, Tighnari picks up the mirror to tuck it away in a corner that you won't have to see.
And then one morning, as you were stretching by Ghandarva Ville with Collei to get rid of your bed cramps and for her to alleviate her Eleazar, familiar visitors passed by looking for you.
You willed yourself to breathe as you watched the Fontaine kid hesitantly take steps towards you, eyes unwilling to meet yours but still trying his best to brave the distance. Cyno and Tighnari weren't there at that time, weren't there when the parents of the kid you saved came all this way to thank you.
"We wanted to thank you for saving our child that day, but we weren't sure where to find you until recently."
How you didn't see this before when he was definitely smaller baffled you, but you were surprised when the kid pulled out a bouquet of pink tulips from behind him. "Thank you for saving me, and I'm also very sorry..."
Get well soon, taking the flowers in your arms, you knelt down to be at eye level with the child. He was pulling the beret down to hide his face which made you smile.
"Thank you, I'm glad you're not hurt." When you do catch a glimpse of his stare, you followed it to a scar on your arm formed by a cut from flying debris. "Those are my battle scars."
"Huh?" Thankfully it was fully healed and in the scarring phase. Pulling your sleeves to show the scar, you traced the discoloration almost lovingly.
"Adventurers always take on dangers to help people, did you know that?" The way his hair bounced as he shook his head yes was endearing. "We get scars all the time, and this one right here, is my scar for successfully saving you. This is proof of me doing a good job and I'm proud of it."
Smiling at the kid, you ruffled his hair with the beret, his mood brightening at your words. More words were exchanged as you asked the boy to be more careful, and to stay safe now that they're leaving Sumeru for another region.
Cyno and Tighnari were surprised to see you outside and waving at someone in the distance, a fulfilled smile on your face as you hugged the bouquet tightly, the dark blue beret on your head almost slipping off.
"And where do you think you're going?"
You had just finished tying your boots up when Tighnari came in the hut, staring at your green and white uniform with obvious distaste. When you reached for the beret instead of the standard adventurer's hat however, it was swept away by Cyno and out of your reach.
"Hey, I need that!"
"Just because you're fully recovered doesn't mean you can go straight back to work." Confused, you heard the shutters of the hut close as Cyno pulls your tie loose. "What if you're not fit to work yet?"
"But you've been monitoring me for a week now, I'm in good condition! H-Hey, wait a minute-!"
The next day, Collei watched you exit Tighnari's hut with shaky legs, huffing and groaning about the soreness preventing you from doing commissions.
You're not fit to work yet, it seems. Especially when your boyfriends now have the liberty to be as clingy as possible.

I'll be honest with you, I had no idea where this was going. But also fun fact, this chapter was referenced in the first one!

I loooooooove your Ace post! I see you have Luffy on the list but will you be doing our baby boy Sabo too?
Patching up Sabos Wounds
Zoro Law Sanji Shanks Ace Luffy Sabo Doflamingo
A/N: Hi!! I whipped up a Sabo just for you! The ASL brothers deserve all the love <3 Pairing: Sabo x GN!Reader CW: Mentions of bleeding and one (1) cut. Probably OOC Sabo. WC: 1155
The sun hangs low in the sky casting a warm and gentle glow across the Revolutionary Army’s Base. Sabo and Koala had been engaged in a sparring session for well over an hour.. You are sitting on a crate, a drink in your hand, simply admiring the strength and passion between the two. Sabo’s focus wavers for the slightest moment, and Koala seizes the opportunity and strikes Sabo. The strike sends him hurling backwards, right into the sea, where he disappears beneath the waves with a splash.
Panic courses through your veins, and without hesitation you bolt past Koala and leap into the water. You open your eyes, ignoring the stinging saltwater, and you search for the blonde.You spot him sinking into the depths of the sea and you waste no time in grabbing his arm, bringing him up to the surface. As he emerges, coughing up seawater, you swim to shore, pulling him along. He continues to hack and sputter, his chest heaving as he collapses onto his back.
“Hey, are you okay? Koala got a good hit on you there.” You ask, concern laced in your voice.
Through labored breaths, he responds weakly. “Yeah, all good here.” He says with a faint smile.
“Alright good, now get up, you need to get checked out,” you insist.
“What? No, I don't need to finish what I started!” He immediately springs up as if the blow had not fazed him at all, and starts marching towards the sparring grounds, where Koala was waiting.
You quickly catch up with him and grab his arm, urging him to pause. “Hey, I don’t think this is a good idea. I mean, look at yourself! You are bleeding from your abdomen.”
Sabo hesitates for a moment, then he turns to you with a grin. “This doesn’t hurt at all! You don't need to worry about me.” he spins around and continues his march.
In response, you plant yourself in front of his path, firmly grabbing onto his shoulders. “Sabo, I know you have the thickest skull on the planet but I need you to listen to me when I say you need to get checked out. You know what? I’ll check you out myself! Yeah! Now you can't possibly say no.” You say, confidence ringing through your voice.
“Do you really think offering to be the one to check me out will work?” He asks, his eyes locked onto yours.
A moment of silence hangs in the air as you stare into his eyes with an unwavering confidence. “…Well it looks like it worked.” He concedes with a chuckle.
Your face lights up at his agreement and you immediately grab his arm and start leading him to the infirmary. You sit him down and grab a towel and wrap it around his shoulder. “Let’s begin by getting you dry. Your a sopping wet mess.” You comment with a laugh.
Sabo shakes his head to get some of the water out of his hair, proceeding to splash you in the process. You squeal out in surprise and start swatting him to get him to stop, causing both of you to laugh. He begins removing his shirt to allow you to inspect the injuries, only for you to discover that they aren’t as severe as you had initially thought - just a small break in the skin that caused the bleeding, though the area was noticeably red and sure to bruise.
“See? I'm perfectly fine.” Sabo says with a grin.
“You're just a freak of nature.” You retort playfully. You reach over into a drawer and pull out some gauze. You intend to clean the wound on his abdomen, but as you began to work, you noticed your own hands trembling, teeth chattering, and goosebumps prickling your skin. The realization that you had jumped into the water as well, never having having a chance to dry off, finally settles in, and the consequences of your own self neglect.
Sabo notices your shivering figure and reacts promptly, taking his towel and wrapping around you with a smirk. “You’re so insistent on making sure I’m okay that you don’t realize you might just die from hypothermia,” he teases.
“Die? That's a little extreme don't you think?” You grumble.
He chuckles, his eyes twinkling with amusement. “Look at you, you’re shaking like a chihuahua. Yeah, I’d say ‘die’ is not an exaggeration,” he adds, grinning teasingly.
“Shut up!” You retort with a shaky voice. He laughs gently as you continue to clean and bandage his wound. “There, all done.” You say with a satisfied smirk. “You still need to warm up, though, so here” You push the towel back to Sabo, “You need it.” you insist.
“You need it too.” He responds, attempting to hand it back to you.
“Fine, I can just go get another towel, you say, brushing off his concern..
Sabo's smirk grows. “There aren’t any other towels.”
Confusion is evidence in your voice as you glance around. “What? Yeah they are right over there.”
A grin spreads across Sabo's face as he responds. “Nope, I don’t see any. Looks like we are just going to have to share this one.” he says teasingly.
Before you can question him further, Sabo pulls you onto his lap, making you straddle him. He wraps the towel tightly around both of you, burning his face into your shoulder, taking a deep breath. You are shocked by the bold move and freeze up for a moment, not knowing quite what to do. A gentle squeeze from him brings you back to reality.
“You're so tense,” Sabo murmurs into your shoulder.
“I… sorry” You mutter, feeling a tinge of embarrassment.
“Don't apologize; you have nothing to apologize for. Just… relax,” he whispers soothingly.
You let out a small sigh and relax into his grip, leaning your head onto his shoulder. He lets out a hum of satisfaction in response.
“What about Koala? Didn't you wanna finish sparring with her?” You mumble into his shoulder.
Sabo tightens his hold around you, his lips grazing your ear as he speaks, “She’ll understand. Right now, the only fight I care about is keeping us warm and comfortable.”
"That's such a cheesy thing to say." You mutter with a chuckle.
"That's the point," he says, laughing along with you.
You nestle further into his embrace, feeling the steady beat of his heart and the warmth that radiates from his body. The windows in the infirmary provides a view of the sun dipping below the horizon, casting a tapestry of colors across the sky, and you start to feel peace and tranquility. This small moment of vulnerability and closeness is something special.
Your eyelids grow heavy as you listen to the rhythmic sound of his heartbeat, and you can feel Sabo’s steady breaths against your ear. His breathing deepens and his grip on you slowly loosens as he succumbs to the lull of sleep. You let yourself drift into slumber, nestled in the warmth of his presence, finding solace in the moment.

Before I send my request your way lemme tell you how much I loved reading your recent Sanji Fics!! I enjoyed them a lot!!
And as for a request, I don't have anything specific but a vague scenario in my head. The strawhats dock at a lone mysterious island. And they as usual disperse off to do their own things when Sanji happens to stumble upon the reader. Perhaps caught in some trouble, going around with a hidden identity? I'm sorry this is cringe. But it's been in my head for a while now. Whether this ends up interesting you or not, I just wanted you to know, it's been a lot of fun reading you! Have a good day! Or night :D
Unfortunate Encounters | Sanji x Reader
Fandom: One Piece
Pairing: Vinsmoke Sanji x Reader
Word Count: 5,997 (that's practically 6k)
Genre: Light Fluff, more Angst, happy ending ofc!
Warnings: Plot heavy, light swearing. Slightly ooc crew maybe? I'm still new to writing for OP, please excuse any mistakes!
A/n: First off, thank you so much for the sweet words anon ;-; they really made my day <3 As for the request, this was not cringe at all!! I got super into it and I had like 3-4 mental drafts of how this fic could go (the og ending was even more angsty lol, but I decided to cut back...) I may have focused too much on the 'lone, mysterious island' part because this was more plot heavy than romantic. The inner plot writer in me emerged because of your prompt; I'm not a romance writer so I struggle with that in this fic >< However, I did enjoy writing it so I hope you enjoy this one too! Thanks for sending such a fun request ❤️

The log pose had brought them to another island, but even before they had touched down, Sanji could feel something was up with it. The island just gave off some vibes he couldn't place and he wasn't one to chalk it off to a mistake. His intuition told him something was going to happen here.
"There doesn't seem to be a town here," Nami frowned, looking at the island. All they could see for miles and miles was a dense tropical forest, with trees that seemed larger than their usual size. When they got off the Thousand Sunny, Sanji realised that it was too silent. There were no sounds of birds or any animals that he could hear from the shoreline. "Be careful, guys."
They decided to separate and cover the island quicker. The log pose needed time to reset and it was a curious little island anyway. They could cover it within a day, maximum. Something in Sanji's gut twisted in protest but until he could explain it, there was no way he could stop the chaotic crew. So he let it be and started hacking a path to somewhere.
The trees were dense and the forest was dark, lit up on random intervals by sudden sunbeams that looked like nature's spotlights. Sanji hummed to himself as he studied the plants around him. He walked for a while, noting all the things he could use but not picking anything because the island just rubbed him off the wrong way. It felt dangerous to pick any part of it.
Sanji walked for a while, pausing only when he felt he had heard something – something that sounded like a rustle of leaves, but he couldn't sense a person. He couldn't sense anything but the wind, a gentle breeze drifting through the trees. Strangely, he had not yet come across any of the other Straw Hats either, even though he had been walking for well over an hour and the island wasn't that big in the first place.
There was another rustling, but this time, Sanji could feel a presence. Multiple ones, to be precise. He tensed and cautiously moved aside the curtain of vines blocking his views. The clearing revealed in front of him shocked him– it was like all the animals of the entire island had gathered in one place. And they were all looking at something that he couldn't see.
The moment he stepped in, the animals all turned to him, some of them baring teeth or growling and it was so much sound after so much silence that even Sanji couldn't help the shiver running along his back. A human shout of, "It's okay guys! I'm okay now!" distracted the animals and they turned back to whatever– or rather, whoever, they had been looking at.
Sanji held back, not quite sure what to make of the whole situation, until he heard a barely audible, "Disperse."
Almost like a flip was switched, the animals scattered and Sanji was left incredulously staring at the vines in the middle of the clearing, from where a figure gracefully jumped down. You straightened up and patted at your hair to check for any stray leaves or twigs before you walked over to him.
"An intruder?" You asked, smiling amusedly. "Been a while since we had one."
"That's a harsh word, beautiful," Sanji couldn't hold himself back from calling you that way, after he had gotten over his shock enough to note your features.
"Would you prefer 'uninvited guest'?" You cocked an eyebrow, not cutting eye contact as you straightened out your clothes.
"Ah, you hurt my poor heart," he said, a little bit dramatically as he leaned closer but still at a respectable distance. "Am I unwelcome in your home, goddess of these woods?"
"Wh-?" You couldn't help the chuckle that left your lips at his words. "You're quite something, alright. And as fun as you are, you really are unwelcome here, sorry."
"Why?" Sanji asked curiously. The entire experience felt like some weird fever dream to him, and he couldn't quite make head or tails of anything that was happening but the one thing he was sure of was that there was something about you that piqued his curiosity in all the ways.
"You can't stay on this island," you shrugged and walked past him, expecting him to follow you. Sanji did not fail, falling in step behind you as you started walking somewhere. "2 days, that's all you get. Any longer and… well, it's better if you don't find out."
"Alright, then I guess I'll let my crew know," Sanji sighed, figuring he wasn't getting any more out of you after seeing your guarded expression. The moment he finished his sentence though, you froze in your step and turned around to face him in horror.
"Did you just say… crew?" Your voice sounded a little hoarse and Sanji paused, looking at you in concern. "Please tell me your crew is not on the island."
"If I said that, it would be a lie, sweetheart," Sanji's brows furrowed even as he said it. Something was wrong. Your expression melted into one of full-blown panic, anger and horror.
"Not again!" You cried, burying your face in your hands.
"What's wrong?" Sanji would really, really like some answers today. The entire day had been confusing and eerie vibes and the growing chill in his stomach was now an unnecessary addition.
"What's wrong," you snapped, looking wild and terrified for a second, "is that your entire crew is fucking loose on a cursed island! If they do not get off this island in 3 nights, they will turn into animals and never, ever turn back to humans."
Sanji just stared at you for a few seconds before he dropped the unlit cigarette he had pulled out of his pocket. You were pacing around in circles and he had so many questions that he didn't even know where to begin.
"Then I'll just tell them when we all meet back?" He said unsurely except you turned to face him with eyes full of unshed tears.
"That's a great plan," you said a little sarcastically, "except for the part where this island is cursed and anyone who isn't an animal can't find their way out. Ever. They literally cannot find the way back on their own."
Sanji's jaw dropped. He stared back at you in equal parts horror.
"This has to be the Moss Head's curse spreading," he whispered to himself.
Half an hour later, the two of you were making your way through the dense foliage, exchanging questions and answers– although Sanji was the one doing the asking the most.
You had calmed down after finding out that the crew only had 9 members. You could probably find 8 people in less than 3 days. The island wasn't that big.
Sanji's first question was about how you weren't affected by the curse.
"Because I'm not fully human," you had replied off-handedly and not offered more. It only added to your mystery but despite all your secrets, Sanji could somehow feel inside him that you weren't a bad person. You were going out of your way to help out so that their crew won't turn into animals– if the curse didn't affect you, then you could have very well done nothing.
Then he asked about the other things on his mind. Were the animals in the forest also humans? To his horror, you had replied with a sad yes.
"The log pose doesn't take pirates to this island much," you had explained as you expertly and gracefully made your way over the thorny plants and overgrown roots. Your movement was almost like a mystical dance and Sanji couldn't take his eyes off of it, thankful that you were walking in front of him and couldn't see his ogling. "It's rare but it happens sometimes. Mostly single man boats tossed through storms end up here, but there's been two small crews who came here after me. There were already some animals on the island before though, and I'm pretty sure they were once humans too."
"And there's no cure for this?" Sanji swallowed, his heart hammering from a weird mix of fear, nervousness and excitement.
"Nothing as far as I know," you confirmed, pausing to close your eyes and feel something. "That direction, I can sense someone."
You ran over without waiting for Sanji and he was left to catch up by taking long strides. Before he could show himself though, he felt the presence close in on you and automatically moved in to defend you. His boots rammed against the blunt hilt of a familiar katana.
"Love cook?" Zoro's eyes widened in surprise and he immediately tucked his swords back in. Sanji ignored him in favour of ensuring that you were okay. He found you staring behind him curiously at Zoro, as if the swordsman fascinated you. It didn't mean anything, but it left him feeling a little irritated at Zoro. "Who's this?"
"Um." Sanji realised he had never asked you for your name. Or given you his.
"Inconsequential," you waved it off. "It's not like we're to know each other longer than a day or two. Let's just go and search for the rest. Blondie here can explain everything to you on the way."
"Sanji," he blurted out, reeling back when he saw your surprised face. "Forgive my insolence, sweetheart. I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Vimsoke Sanji."
"Well, Sanji," you smiled at him, already walking like you knew where you were going, "get your friend to join us and follow me."
Gladly, his heart answered for him.
You knew this was a mistake. It never ended well when you met other people and liked them. And as you collected more of the Straw Hats, you couldn't help but like them all more and more. You knew this was a mistake, but you couldn't bring yourself to regret it because you knew that if you didn't help them, they would be cursed too.
You had eventually acquiesced and given them your first name, careful not to offer your last name in case any of them recognised you. Zoro seemed to be staring at you quite frequently, but maybe it was just a Straw Hat thing? Sanji had been staring at you the whole time too. Or maybe you looked hideous and they were all politely staying quiet. You didn't quite know, but the thought of looking terrible in front of them (in front of that beautiful blonde boy) was a little mortifying to you.
All those thoughts took a backseat though, because you were on a mission. By the time evening rolled around and the sky had turned to pitch black darkness, you had found a cyborg and a rubber man called Luffy, who was the captain of the ship. He didn't really feel like a captain, or somebody who commanded everyone, but the Straw Hats didn't seem like a typical group of people. They were… unique.
"Let's stop for tonight," you said after assessing the darkness. Of course, you could see everything clearly even in the darkness, but they didn't need to know that. The less they knew about you…
"Shouldn't we keep going?" Zoro asked, looking around.
"Trust me, we're better off waiting the night out," you answered, already settling into the clearing for the night. You had to get a fire going and find food and there were things to be done.
"So I can't eat the animals?" Luffy pouted for the fifth time, asking the same question.
"No, Luffy," you sighed, waving a stick at him. "They might look like animals, but they are people. Please don't kill them or try to eat them."
"They won't attack our crewmates, would they?" Sanji asked, looking worried. You finally managed to light a fire and carefully structured a ring of stones around it to ensure it won't get out before answering.
"The curse lets them have their brain for most of the time," you fidgeted on the spot. "But sometimes, if you harm them, or if they get really hungry, or, y'know… their animal instincts kick in and then they are more animal than human. But it's rare, and won't happen if you don't harm their survival."
The crew fell silent and you watched them whisper amongst themselves a bit. They probably wanted to talk things out, so you got up and said you would go grab something to eat.
"Please don't leave this clearing," you warned them as you walked away. "Finding you again would be so much trouble."
You heard footsteps following you though and turned around to find Sanji trailing behind you.
"Sanji?" You asked, confused. His tall, lanky figure in the forefront of the golden orange light spilling from the fire you started was a picturesque scenery that left your heart thumping a little louder than usual.
"Would you be okay with some company?" He asked quietly. "I'm a chef, so I could probably help you gather some food."
"Alright," you nodded. The two of you walked a while in silence until you found the spot where there were a bunch of large fruits and flowers that you started gathering. Sanji observed what you collected in the little moonlight that was shining through the trees, but you could see him struggling.
"You can see in the dark?" He asked after a beat of silence.
"Mm," you were exhausted from the day. Lying and avoiding things was tiring as it is, and you really weren't in the mood to play the game. If Sanji knew who you were… would it really be that bad? He had been kind so far, always at a respectable distance but with honeyed sweet words that tugged at your heartstrings. You had never had anyone flirt with you, but Sanji was the first. And it left you feeling giddy and warm, the attention he gave you without losing any of the respect and your need for secrecy. If he knew… would he hate you?
Sanji didn't say anything for a while, just offered up his arms for you to stack all the food you had collected.
"Who else is remaining?" You asked, finding the silence was eating at your insides. You had spent so long in silence. And now that you had people around again, you wanted to make the most of it before they had to leave. Just for a while, you could forget and pretend that you're one of them. Just for a while.
"Nami-san, Robin-san," Sanji said, "Brook and Chopper. Wait, Chopper!"
Sanji clapped his hands like he had just thought of something. You looked at him curiously.
"Chopper is a reindeer," Sanji said hurriedly.
"You have a reindeer in your crew…?" You were confused. The Straw Hats were definitely one of a kind, alright.
"He ate the Hito Hito no Mi so he can talk and walk," Sanji explained. "He's our doctor but that's not important right now. He's an animal, right? So he wouldn't be affected by the curse?"
"Highly likely that he isn't," you confirmed.
"Which means he must be the only one back on the ship," Sanji murmured to himself. That's one person (animal?) less to search for, you mused. "He must be scared."
"I hope he's okay," you said quietly. The animals on the island knew each other well. If Chopper ran into them… You didn't really know what would happen. Animals could be scary when they were territorial.
The two of you finished collecting as much as you could carry and walked back, and you asked Sanji to tell you about their adventures. He indulged you, colouring a vivid and humorous picture of the crew in the short while it took you two to get back.
You came back to find Zoro sleeping on his side while Luffy was springing around in the clearing, howling about being hungry and crying for Sanji. Franky sat against a tree, fiddling with something on his body that you didn't wait to see despite your curiosity.
As Sanji started portioning the food to serve to everyone, you stood back and watched the crew interact quietly. It was strange, how at home you felt with them despite not knowing them– but you attributed it to your loneliness.
Even if you wanted to be one of them, you could never curse them like that.
The next morning, you found Nami at the top of a tree. You had seen her when gathering some flowers for breakfast, asleep. You decided to get Sanji to recognise her before you woke her up and got her down. Seeing Sanji fawn and fret over her made you insanely jealous; but you forced it down under a smile and led them back to the camp that had already been cleared up.
You gave the crew a few minutes to catch up and celebrate before you started the search again.
"So…" you searched for a topic as the six of you trudged through the forest. "A reindeer, a cyborg, a gum man, an ex-pirate hunter… Who should I expect next?"
"A skeleton!" Luffy excitedly yelled as he swung past you on the vines, nearly making you stumble from the shock.
"A… what?!" You turned to stare at Sanji in shock, who just smiled softly and shrugged.
"Brook is…" he explained the whole story without getting tired and you couldn't help but be fascinated by everything. The more you learned about them, the more they intrigued you, the more you wanted to beg them to let you join them. But you didn't let those thoughts come to life in words, just helping them find the said skeleton from where he was surrounded by some of the island's animals growling at him.
"Down, guys," you shouted and the animals immediately backed off, all staring at you with innocent eyes that made you huff in laughter. "Don't pull that on me, I just saw you. I know you mean well but it's a little scary when you're surrounded by animals."
One of the deer whined and bumped its snout into your hand. You could feel the Straw Hats staring as you petted it and whispered it to leave the skeleton to you. When the animals had dispersed, you shot a grin at Brook.
"Hi there!" You held out a hand, "It's my first time meeting a skeleton!"
Once the pleasantries were out of the way, you started covering the northern part of the island. It was the only place remaining, aside from the centre. You found Usopp and Chopper there, the two of them hugging each other and bawling.
As it turned out, Chopper had in fact gone back after finding nothing on the island only to find out that no one else had returned. So he had stayed the night in the ship and then came back in search of the others even though he was scared.
"That was very brave of you," you patted him on the head. The reindeer blushed and glared at you.
"I'm not pleased by that at all!!" So he said, but you could see the smile on his face. With almost all of them collected, you started your way to the centre of the island when you heard the clouds rumble.
The sky was full of grey clouds and you were ready for rain, since this was the season on the island.
"There's an underground cave near here," you told the crew as you led them through the thick canopy of trees. "I usually go there when it rains so let's wait it out before we search for… Robin, was it?"
Zoro grumbled something about constant waiting but you chose to ignore it. You knew this island better than any of them. Rains were harsh and the droplets were like bullets on the skin. You couldn't find Robin on the way to the cave but when you reached its opening which looked like a hole in the ground, surrounded by overgrown grass, you felt a presence inside.
The last Straw Hat member was inside the cave, much to all of your relief. This time, you truly stepped back and let the crew reunite, feeling like a true outcast for the first time. Your time together with them was over. Once the rain was gone, they would be out of here and you would be alone again.
Except Sanji turned to you and offered you his hand to invite you into their awkward group hug that Usopp had initiated. You didn't want to intrude but they all looked at you with similar grins and smiles and you couldn't hold it back. You joined them, savouring your first hug in years.
As it turned out, the runes you had found on one of the walls of the cave actually had some sort of meaning that Robin had been able to decipher in the while she had spent in the cave. She had apparently found the cave the previous night and stayed in, then worked on the runes in the morning when she found them.
"It's about a curse on this island," she explained. "Like (y/n) already told us, if anyone spends 3 nights on this island, it turns them into an animal forever. There's a piece of it missing at the end, but the last line says 'the answer lies in the satisfaction of life and a prayer answered'."
"What does that mean?" you asked, confused.
"I'm not really sure," she admitted, running her fingers over the runes. The whole crew mulled over the words as you waited for the rain to stop. You didn't join into the conversation, just letting your mind work quietly with their suggestions as background.
Satisfaction in life… A prayer answered… None of it seemed to make sense. The Straw Hats didn't need to help the animals out, but they were still trying to figure it out. The crew was clearly good at heart and you were glad that you helped them out, even though you would only be left with hurt after they were gone. That pain was worth it.
A squirrel scampered up to you while you listened; the rain outside seemed to be slowing down. You knew the squirrel was the girl around your age who had ended up on the island after a shipwreck. You scooped her up and let her sit on your hand, where she tried to shake off the water from her soaking body. The water sprinkled onto you and you let out a fake indignant "hey!" that made her laugh. Not that you had ever seen squirrels laugh, but you could always understand the animals on the island.
"We found something here," you said quietly to her, bringing her close to wipe off some of the water from her body. "It could be an answer to turning you all back to humans."
She tilted her head and stared at you.
"But none of us understand the riddle," you continued, feeling apologetic to them. You had been the only person on the island who was unaffected by the curse, so you felt like it was somehow your responsibility to help them all turn back. And yet, you had failed at that over and over again. Saira, as the girl's name had been, simply shook her squirrel head and placed a tiny paw on your chest where you had tucked her close.
"It's alright," you could hear her saying in your head. To the others, it probably sounded like a bunch of squeaks. "It's not that bad. I long gave up hope of turning back. Being a squirrel is not that bad. Being able to spend everyday with you who looks out for all of us… I'm happy. All of us are."
Your chest swelled with the emotions and for the first time in a long while, tears streamed down your cheeks. You had held it all in for so long, not wanting to burden the helpless creatures that always kept you company. But knowing their faith in and love for you made your insides warm.
"All we want is for you to be happy too," Saira continued, turning her head to look at the crew. You glanced at them, noticing that Sanji was looking over at you two. "I know you. Go with them."
"I can't," you said in a choked whisper. "Even if they let me, I can't do that to them. I'm not… I'm a curse, Saira. I can't risk it."
The squirrel looked at you helplessly as you cried a little more. Eventually, you wiped away the tears and let your eyes shut to listen to the pitter patter of rain outside. Saira scrambled off your body and over to Sanji, who had watched you the whole while but hadn't heard what you had said.
When you opened your eyes, the rain had stopped. You looked around blearily, and found the Straw Hats all lying around, looking upset.
"You guys should have woken me up when the rain stopped," you said, rubbing your face as you stood up. "Come on, you must be missing your ship, yeah?"
"(Y/n)," Sanji started, looking a little nervous. You looked at him quizzically, but Zoro spoke up before he could say what he wanted.
"Or should we say Kuroneko no (Y/n)?" The familiar words made you freeze in horror. "Harbinger of Death? A 30 million bellies bounty."
"That's…" You took an involuntary step back, bumping into the cave wall. They knew. They knew the secret you had tried so hard to hide. They knew… and they were still looking at you with badly hidden curiosity and grins. None of them looked scared, or upset anymore, like they had been when you were asleep. "I'm… I don't want to lie. That's me. But I swear, I'm not going to do anything. I mean, I don't even actually do anything, all of those incidents just happened–"
"(Y/n)," Sanji placed a hand atop your head, effectively stopping your rambling. You looked up at him, afraid to see him look at you differently, but if anything, his eyes had only become softer. "It's okay. I wish you had told us before, but we get it."
"You do…?" Somehow, it felt too good to be true. People were usually upset when others lied and kept secrets. The secret of who you were could essentially have been a matter of life or death. Kuroneko no (y/n), or rather, Black Cat (y/n) was a name based on your Devil Fruit powers that let you turn into a cat. But they were also a result of you being the only survivor in 4 separate incidents– the annihilation of your home island, the mass genocide in a war town country and the two small crews you had once been a part of. Every single time, all the people had died and you were the only one alive left behind. You had never belonged anywhere, so how could you believe now would be any different?
"It must have been very lonely," Robin's sorrowful eyes reflected that she understood you on some level. You didn't know what to think or feel, unwilling to let yourself hope for anything beyond acceptance.
"It was," you admitted, more to yourself than to them. You had never let yourself truly dwell on the thought, but you had been so, so lonely. "I won't stick around for long. I'll take you to your ship and you'll be free of this island's curse, and of my own. So if–"
"Your curse?" Sanji looked at you, confused.
"It's not exactly a curse," you hesitated, "but there's nothing else I can call it for why… the people I care for end up dead."
"That's not true," Luffy frowned, walking over to you. "Everyone here is still alive. Everyone on this island is alive, we are alive. You are not cursed."
"You were like a blessing in disguise," Usopp said from where he stood, not looking you in the eyes. "I was of course not afraid at all, considering my heavy list of achievements, but you brought us all back together."
"I'm…" you didn't know what to say, feeling overwhelmed.
"You're not cursed, sweetheart," Sanji gently held up your hand, squeezing it to comfort you. "You just had a string of… unfortunate events."
Sanji's struggle to find the right term made you let out a small giggle. Maybe you should extend a hand. Maybe this time…
"Maybe I'm not cursed?" You said hopefully, looking up into his clear blue eyes. Sanji nodded, carefully tucking back a lock of hair behind your ear. The action made you flush, suddenly realising the proximity you two were in.
A flash of light startled all of you and you turned around to find Saira, the human, standing in the place of where the squirrel was. The girl was staring at her own hands and body, like this was a dream. You blinked, unable to believe your eyes either.
Outside the cave, you could hear shouts. Human shouts.
"What just-?" You ran out to find the people who had been turned into animals were back to human. "How…"
"Satisfaction of life and a prayer answered," Robin's voice from behind you was startling. You turned to look at her, and she smiled down at you. "Perhaps the answer was just for the animals to be happy with who they are, with no regrets."
"Then… Then why didn't it change them back before?" You said, voice barely above a whisper.
"Perhaps their prayer wasn't answered back then," she placed a hand on your shoulder and patted it. Did she mean that it only happened now because your one wish through life had been answered? To be free of the curse you had…
With much enthusiasm, the crew got out of the underground cave and everyone was celebrating. The sight of everyone back made you feel like this was the happiest day of your life. You participated in it, letting yourself enjoy the moment without worrying or thinking of anything.
The sun was already setting when the party started and it went on for hours as everyone laughed and danced and ate. (If you were fascinated by how much Luffy could eat, you kept it to yourself to be polite.) It was probably getting close to midnight when Sanji sought you out to where you were sitting by yourself and just watching everyone with fond eyes.
He didn't say a word at first, just sat down next to you. At that distance, you could feel the warmth of his body and you subconsciously leaned closer to the source. For the first time in a long while, your heart felt at peace.
"How did you end up on this island?" Sanji's question made you look over at him. He wasn't demanding an answer, just looking down at you with deep blue eyes that seemed to flash golden as they reflected the bonfire.
"I was on the run from the Marines around a year ago," you hummed, feeling safe and comfortable enough in his presence to finally talk about yourself. After years of not being able to share anything with anyone, it felt freeing to tell him something even as simple as this. "I had just escaped the battle between the crew I was in and this one big pirate ship that I don't even remember anymore. I was wounded but I reached this island on a small boat somehow with a half broken log pose. I shifted into my cat form, which looks less like a cat and more like a black jaguar if anything, to ensure that no one recognised me– because my full transformation is not known by the Marines. I stayed in that form for quite a while, too scared and shaken at that time to turn back into human. Only after a few days of exploring the island did I realise there are no humans here.
"I thought… if there was any place I could not affect anyone with my curse, it would be here. Away from any humans who would get affected by it. At that time, I didn't know about the curse. Looking back on it, I suspect that maybe the curse never affected me because I was in my animal form for 3 nights. Or maybe it was just because that form is like my second skin. I was never disappointed or dissatisfied with it. I only found out about the curse after Saira came on the island and turned into a squirrel. And then two other pirate crews."
"That must have been hard for you," Sanji's voice was quiet but there was no way you could miss the low timbre of it over the excitement all around you. Not when it was the same voice that set your heart off; you wanted to hear everything he had to say. Wanted to know him more and more, as much as he would let you. "(Y/n)-chan."
"Mm?" You turned to look at him, breathless at the proximity from where you could no longer smell the perfume he smelled of the first time you met. The smell coming off him now was something purely him. It was a little intoxicating when coupled with the warm atmosphere and the gooey feeling in your stomach.
"Would you… like to join us?" Sanji seemed a little nervous asking you that. The question gobsmacked you and you stared at him. He… wanted you to join them? As a part of the crew? "I asked Luffy and he said that if you want it, then he's all for it."
"Sanji…" you bit your lower lip, unsure once again. Even though you felt free of the curse, the mentality couldn't be erased in a day. The what ifs, the fear, the apprehension was all still there. "What if we're wrong, though? What if I really am cursed and this has just been a really long build-up to something worse? I might be a risk to your–"
"You're not," Sanji interrupted you for the first time since you had met. The quiet but firm determination blazing in his eyes surprised you. "I believe in you. (Y/n)-chan, if you would let me, I would gladly prove it to you by staying by your side for the rest of your life. I'll stay alive and well, and show you that it's not your fault. I'll be by your side to the very end, so place your fears in my hands and… trust me on this, even if you don't trust anything else."
That little crush you had developed on him at the start seemed to blow up in that moment into a gigantic furnace of emotions. He was ready to take the risk of death, and saying every word with such sincerity that any inhibitions you had went out the window. You couldn't stop yourself from wanting him any longer– he was like the sun, taking your world by storm.
"Really?" You didn't realise when the tears started streaming down your face until his gentle hands came up to wipe them. "You'll stay?"
"I will," and that genuine sincerity was something you couldn't help but believe in. "I will be there for you, as long as you need me."
"Sanji." His name felt both urgent and at ease from your lips.
"(Y/n)-chan," he whispered, voice open and vulnerable again. "Do you… want to be a part of the Straw Hats?"
You swallowed and wondered if you really deserved this much happiness after everything. Yet the moment you looked into his eyes, you felt like there was nothing you could do but be a moth chasing the sun– running after something that you knew will only end up in flames.
"I do."

Blue raspberry (Gavi x Reader)
28 day writing prompt challenge - prompts are here
Day 11: Late night McDonald's run
Warning: mentions/ alluding to eating disorders! Mentions of being scared to eat certain foods! If you're not comfortable please don't read!
"Pablo, I'm here, but they won't let me come into the parking lot because they don't recognize my car, so you're going to need to come up to."
"I'm walking up to you right now. Pull over to the side."
You moved your car from in front of the barrier to wait as close as possible on the side of the road. Despite the fact that it was 9:15pm, there were still about a dozen fans waiting to see the players emerge, hoping to get photos and autographs. You saw Gavi's hooded figure emerge, and he looked for your car. You flashed your lights to notify him where you were, but you notified the fans as well. They ran over and swarmed him, making it almost impossible to get to you. He took a few pictures and signed a few shirts before security intervened, separating him from his loyal supporters.
He got into your car and threw his backpack over his shoulder into the back seat, sighing and sinking into the seat. There was a path for you drive between the fans, and so you left Camp Nou and the flashes of iPhones behind you.
"Great. Now my Ford is going to be all over Twitter. People will want to get pictures with Gavi's chauffer. I'll never have a moment of peace."
He let out a tired laugh and pulled his hood down, finally relaxing as you hit the road.
"First of all, you already stick out for driving this obnoxiously American car in the middle of Spain. And second, why didn't you just tell security you were here to pick me up?"
"Gavi, can you imagine if security just let random girls in if they said they were there to see you? You would have been kidnapped a long time ago."
You rarely ever picked up Gavi. Your relationship was still relatively new, and he didn't want you to be hounded by the press and by people on social media making unfounded and nasty comments. Plus, he usually had a ride. He often arrived and left with Pedri, who was all too happy to have some company on his way to work in the mornings. If not Pedri, then another member of the squad (or even a member of staff) was always happy to make sure he got to and from practice safely (and didn't get snatched by a random fan).
But today, he was just in the worst mindset. It was freezing in Barcelona, and he hated to practice in the cold. As usual, he was slipping and sliding around the field, even more than usual due to the rain of the previous night. He was cold and wet, and he was being constantly critiqued by the coaching staff because he was just not in top form today. To make matters worse, he was starving. He had been following Robert's "healthy diet" advice, but sometimes he got so fixated on not eating the wrong thing that he just forgot to eat altogether. He had finished some weight training and was ready to hit the shower and go home when he got the news from Pedri.
"The Adidas reps are coming over to get me fitted for some new boots. I wont be leaving until 10:30."
Gavi almost cried at the news that he was going to be held at the Camp so late. He was exhausted. He was cold. He wanted to see his girlfriend. And so he swallowed his pride and called you, asking you to rev up the gas-guzzler and pick him up, even if it meant being photographed together.
"Mi corazón, are you okay? You're giving off more distressed vibes than usual."
"Honestly, I don't know," he replied, turning to look at you. "I've just been feeling drained and down. Everything is irritating me and I just want to sit in bed and do nothing."
A moment of silence passed. You didn't know what to say. You understood how Pablo felt: it was hard living up to so much pressure and expectations, and even if it wasn't full-blown depression, it was enough to make you worried. You didn't want these feelings to start interfering with his day-to-day, because you knew that would just make him feel worse. You weren't a therapist, but you wanted to do whatever you could to provide him with a little bit of comfort.
"... do you want to go to McDonald's?"
"What?" He said, looking over at you with his eyebrows stitched together in confusion, like you had asked the question in a different language.
"Well I mean when I've had a shit day I usually find myself in the McDonald's drive-thru. Nothing makes me feel as good as a 9-piece nugget meal and an Oreo McFlurry. But if you just want to go home I can just take you home."
"I... don't even remember the last time I went to McDonald's."
"Are you being serious?"
"Yeah. I eat a lot at the club and have my macros tracked by the nutritionists there. And then usually I'm with the boys and Eric or someone else cooks. And I don't have a car, so it prevents me from coming here for a McChicken whenever I want."
You drove for a few more minutes before turning into the drive through.
"Welcome to McDonald's what can I get for you?"
You placed your order, going a little overboard and getting everything that looked somewhat appealing. You turned to Gavi.
"What do you want?"
"All that food was for you?!"
"Quickly."
"Um... maybe I just get a small fries. I don't want to ruin all the work I've done by pigging out."
You looked at Gavi with wide eyes. It was dawning on you how much he was actually worried about his eating habits for fear of being ridiculed by the club.
"For him can I get a large McChicken meal with a blue raspberry slushie and- M&Ms or Oreo?"
"What?"
"Hurry up Pablo or we'll be here all night. M&Ms or Oreo?"
"But I- fine. Oreo."
"And an Oreo McFlurry. That's all"
You left the speaker, waiting in line to pay, and you looked over at Pablo, whos cheeks were bright red. He was looking directly in front of him, avoiding eye contact with you.
"What's wrong Pablito? You just said you liked McChickens."
"I do amor, that's not the problem." He said, looking at you. You took his hand in yours and laced your fingers together.
"It's just been a long time since I let myself eat this kind of stuff. And I mean I know that one time will be fine but I just... I don't know how to not feel guilty for having fried food for the first time in like a year."
You brought his hand up to your lips and kissed it gently, rubbing the back of it with your thumb.
"Pablo, you guys just won the Spanish Supercup less than a month ago - and you were in top form might I add. I know it's hard to let yourself have simple pleasures, but you deserve to have things that make you happy every now and then. And plus, this meal is probably better for you than two beers."
He smiled widely, leaning over to give you a gentle kiss. You reciprocated, enjoying the feeling of his soft lips against yours until the car behind you honked, causing you both to swiftly pull away.
You moved to the window, pulling out your wallet to pay.
"Corazón, you don't have to pay for the food. I can get it."
"Oh my God Pablo Gavi?"
He had forgotten to pull his hood up, and now the man at the window looked ready to faint. Pablo panicked. He did not want to be photographed in this moment.
"Why don't you get something for him to sign for you?" You asked sweetly, and Gavi squeezed your arm, greatful for your quick thinking. The employee ran off to find something for Gavi to sign.
"I think my card fell in my bag. Pablito, can you open up my McDonald's app on my phone so I can get the reward points?"
The employee returned, hands shaking as he handed you a shirt and a Sharpie for Gavi. The app lit up Gavi's face and just before he gave you the phone, his eyes got wide.
"Bebe, why do you have 7,000 McDonald's points."
".... I'm sad often. Hurry up and sign the shirt."
You got your food and drove back to Pablo's house.
"It's your obligation as a passenger to eat fries out of the bag while they are hot, and occasionally feed some to me." You said playfully. He smirked at you, grabbing some fries and taking a bite.
"Fuck."
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing. I just forgot how good fat and salt are."
At Pablo's house, he tried to set the food on the table, but you stopped him, grabbing the bag and skipping over to the couch. You set the food out on the coffee table and dimmed the lights.
"Why do the lights have to be off for us to eat?" Pablo asked, sitting on the couch and putting one arm around you, pulling you close.
"Because it's more freeing. Don't look and hyper-analyze what you're eating, Pablo. Just eat until you're full."
You unwrapped the burger and handed it to Pablo, following quickly with your own food. You put on an episode of your favorite show, and you two just sat and ate and cuddled. After 5 or 6 episodes, the food was cleared, and you and Pablo had situated yourselves on the couch. He was laying in your arms, and you alternated between eating ice cream yourself and feeding him spoonfuls.
"Bebe, I have a question?"
"Yes mi amor?"
"How did you know I was going to like blue raspberry?"
"Because you have the taste buds of a 5 year old, just like me. Why? Did you like it?"
"I loved it. I'm going to go and buy myself one every time I score a goal."
"Can I get in on this deal? I also like slushies."
"Of course mi corazón. How else am I going to get to the McDonald's? You'll be driving."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A/N: Hey y'all! Hope you enjoyed this one. Inspired by my own late night McDonald's run (which actually tragically ended w me spilling half the food on the floor). If you haven't had a blue raspberry slushie from McDonald's (and it's available where you are) go get one. I have met so many athletes who have this mentality around fast food, and so I wanted to give a little bit of a different perspective. Anyways, I've really been enjoying this prompt challenge. I hope you are too. Please leave any comments or feedback here or in my asks, and see y'all later!
Tim Bradford
"Thank you again Y/N, I really appreciate you being here for me and Chris" Lucy thanked me again, passing me the cup of freshly made coffee. "No need to thank me, you're my friend" I smiled sweetly at her as I sat beside Chris on the coach. "How are you doing Chris? And don't lie to me, we're both survivors of Rosalin. I know what sh... it does to you" I pat his knee softly. He opened his mouth to respond but was interrupted by a knock on the door. "You expecting a guest Lucy?" I asked as I rose slowly from the coach, hand floating above my gun. "No" She replies, walking cautiously to the door. I watch intensely as she turns the handle. "Tim?" Lucy asks. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. However, a sadness washed over me. Why was he here? He told me he was too busy to hang out today. His eyes met mine. "Oh Y/N Hi" I rolled my eyes and sat beside Chris. Chris looked at me sending me a warm smile, which I returned. He told me he was busy but turns up at Lucy's. I keep pushing this feeling away but he's making it hard for me, I gathered that Tim and Lucy had something going on ever since they came back from Vegas.
"Did you want to come in?" I didn't hear his reply but did hear his footsteps enter the flat, which told me instantly what his answer was. Tim carefully sat beside me, and awkward silence surrounded us. *Buzz Buzz* Saved by the bell!! I answered my phone quickly, rising to my feet as I check the ID "Lopez". I slid the green button across my screen, bringing the phone to my hear. "Y/N ah thank god" She sounded out of breath and in panic. "Lopez, you okay?" I ask. "Yes I just have a situation, Wesley is at work and I've been called in. The nanny is busy and so is Wesley's mom. Can you please come and watch Jack?" I grab my jacket and rush to put my shoes on. "Y/N what happened?" Lucy asked with concern in her voice. "Lopez has a work emergency so I'm going to watch baby Jack" She nodded understandably. Tim got up off the sofa and made his way towards me. "I'll come with you". I look up from my shoes and met Tim's eyes. "I'm good thank you" I said rather fast. I opened the door taking a step out. "At least let me drop you off, I know your cars not here. I didn't see it" .Did he check to see if I was here? Maybe he wouldn't have come if he knew I was here. I had to get to Lopez' as soon as possible to I agreed.
The car journey was silent, neither one of us started a conversation. We just sat in silence listening to the radio. "Y/N.." "I don't actually feel like talking Tim" I heard him sigh, hands turning white as he gripped the steering wheel tighter.
We finally arrived, the ten minute journey felt like two hours. I jumped out the car muttering a small thank you, and made my way up the path to the Ever's residence. I raised my fist to knock but the door swung open before I could, baby Jack was thrown in my hands and Lopez zoomed passed me. "Thank you" she shouted as she ran to her car. As my eyes follow her I noticed Tim's car still there. I close my eyes taking a deep breath before I turn around and walk into the apartment.
Sweet alpha, Dangerous Omega
Cassandra dimitrescu x Reader
Warning: Smut, omegaverse, some violence.
An alpha was a muscular, demanding and aggressive man. Leader of his household.
An omega was a small, obedient and sweet woman.  Caretaker of her children.
A beta was the common class, mediocre or talented if the Black God blessed them.  A variable.
You didn't know if it was different outside the village, you had hope that it was, maybe far from here you could find someone who would accept you as a partner, you, an alpha woman, a mistake that should have died after going through the presentation like everyone else. However you survived, twenty-three years later you are still here living in a cabin away from the others but within the limits of security, working as a lumberjack for the elders of the village who treat you with hatred and contempt.
What a life.
But you barely had money to survive, the duke had told you how much you needed to be able to leave and the price was something that you wouldn't be able to save not matter how much you try.  So you went about your day, waiting for a stroke of luck or a Lycan that will end your life.
"Repair my fence, I don't want the animals to ruining my crops" John, an old farmer had asked you, the wood was rotten and you had to redo a large part of the fence, however you knew well that he was not going to pay you more than what he already gave you. That's why they gave you a job in the first place, they knew that no one else would agree to work so hard for so little.
When you finished, the sun had already set and the temperature had dropped considerably.  Starting your way home with your ax held tightly in your hand, although dying sounded easier you weren't ready to accept it without fighting first.
"Shit!"  The scream coming from the trees caught your attention immediately.  You debated whether to approach to help or follow the path, after all it was not your problem, the strong smell of anxiety, anger and pain reached your nose, an omega, a woman because of her screams.  Your instincts took control and when you recovered you were already in front of the woman.
"Fu-ck Co-ld" Her clothing was that of a hunter, perhaps one's daughter wanted to rebel and it ended badly.  She was hugging herself with a cloak covering her and a hood covering her face. You could notice with surprise that she was taller than you. You approached carefully, taking into account the tension in her body.
"I'm going to take you to my house, tomorrow you can go back to yours but you can't stay here if the cold doesn't kill you the Lycans will-" A roar interrupted your conversation, a varcolac emerged from the trees, almost as if your comment had summoned it, the beast was covered in wounds but still had enough strength to stand and attack.
You let the savagery inside you come out growling at the beast in front of you challenging it, when it jumped you moved out of its way and put all your strength into your arm driving your ax into its neck to such a point that you couldn't pull it out again.
You ran towards the woman and without waiting for permission you picked her up in your arms, fleeing from the beast that was writhing in pain.  You didn't stop even after leaving the forest, your mind had only one thought: return to your territory where you would be safe.  Avoiding the traps you placed around as security, you hurriedly opened the door.
Trying to control your breathing you looked at the girl who was looking at you cautiously or so you thought, the darkness did not let you see her clearly.  You gently placed it on top of what you called a bed, a small mattress that you had bought from the duke, covered with the skin of the largest bear you had managed to hunt along with the stitching of other smaller animal skins as a blanket, you took off the jacket that were wearing and gave it to her so that she could cover herself more.
"Pathetic Alpha" is how they referred to you, with good reason, your home was a cabin with only one room that served as a living room, bedroom and kitchen with a warehouse that you built for wood and food. Who would want to be your partner if this was all you could offer?
You started looking for the materials to light the fireplace, trying to ignore the shame that was growing in your chest.  With the fire lit you turned to see your guest.
"You can sleep if you want, I give you my word that nothing will happen to you" With the fire providing light you could see her better; the hair that was sticking out of her hood was a dark brown, you could only see her mouth and part of her nose, she was rolled up in her cloak with your jacket on her shoulders and the blanket on her lap;  she wasn't tense anymore but she stayed alert.
"Your word have no worth to me" her voice denoted her distrust and contempt despite having saved her.  However, you did not take it to heart after all, an omega alone with an alpha had to be careful because they were violent and did not accept no as an answer to something they wanted, her caution was understandable.
Nodding you stood up and went to where you left the knives, you took the longest one you had and returning you handed it to her, she grabbed the knife firmly and easily.
"If that makes you feel safer"
"I could easily kill you"
"Do it and you'll have to keep the fire going"
She let out a soft laugh that quickly was oppressed.
You went to the trunk where you kept the few clothes you had you took out the only coat you had and put it on while you went to the warehouse, where you took the bow you used to hunt and its quiver full of arrows.
"I'm going to patrol in case the varcolac comes back"
"Do you really think you can take it down?"  You heard the mockery in her voice, at least she was honest.
"No, but at least I can blind it to give us more time to escape"
"It seems that's the only thing you're good at."
"Otherwise I would have died a long time ago, miss."
The adults were cruel and their children imitated them, your parents don't try to protect you, their contempt was clear and the hope that they would love you even a little disappeared the moment they threw you out of the house when you turned eighteen.
You left without saying more
-------------—-----------------------------
Cassandra followed you with her gaze until you left.  It was the first time in all her years that she had met an alpha female;  Her mother had told her that it was possible but as with omega men, there were very few, almost non-existent, as they tended to die during the presentation period.
When she presented she wanted to be one despite her mother's disdain for them, attracted by the strength and natural dominance of the dynamic, the disappointment that came from her when she presented as an omega was immense.  It was unfair!  Daniela was the one who wanted to be one!  and Bela, perfect mommy's girl Bela was everything an omega should be, responsible, maternal, virtuous and patient with a small and attractive body.  Not Cassandra, Cassandra was rude, aggressive, sadistic, impatient and impulsive, the second tallest but the most muscular, she was the complete opposite of what an omega should be.  However she was the omega and her sisters were Betas.  Her entire family were betas with the exception of her aunt Donna who was also an omega and her uncle Karl who was an alpha.
It took years for her to finally accept her dynamic, after thousands of talks with her mother, sisters, and her aunt.  So what if she didn't fit the typical image of omegas?  She was Cassandra Dimitrescu, proud daughter of Alcina Dimitrescu, of the three daughters the strongest, an excellent hunter, a fearsome warrior and a dangerous omega.
She didn't need a partner, being single was perfect for her.  And if she made sure to prolong the pain of the servants who mentioned how undesirable she was, well it was always good to inflict fear on the staff it keep them on line.
She prefer not to think about the periods of heat, where all her stupid emotions came out uncontrollably, where she just wanted to be snuggled with someone giving her all her affection and attention.
At first it was enough with just her mother and sisters but as the years went by her stupid omega side complained about the lack of the company of an alpha more and more often, now the first days she spent with her family and the last ones alone trying to deal with with sexual desire without result, her stupid body wanted the touch of an alpha, feeling empty without it, her room ended up reeking of pheromones for a month despite the maids cleaning it thoroughly, she hated the looks of compassion and sympathy that the maids omega gave her because the stupid message that her stupid pheromones sent was one of misery and loneliness, a plea for the company of a lover.
She wished she had the same abilities as Lady Beneviento who was able to suppress her omega side, leaving her practically like another beta thanks to her mutation.
But nooo, her own mutation made her more susceptible to her wild side in addition to lengthening her heat from three days to a week.
Fucking luck.
She decided to go hunting to forget that in a few more days her heat would begin. She was so concentrated that she did not notice the drop in temperature until she encountered a varcolac. She fought as best she could but was unable to use her swarm and her body was hardening little by little, she knew that it was better to accept defeat later she would return to finish off the damn mutt.  She couldn't make much progress, when she tripped over a simple branch her frustration got the better of her screaming at the top of her lungs, attracting the attention of the beast and yours apparently.
She now found herself in a decrepit cabin in a pathetic attempt at bed with a stupid alpha giving her protection she didn't need and her stupid omega was so pleased she had to bite her tongue to keep from purring.
Damn luck
-------------—-----------------------------
It dawned with no sign of the varcolac or any search group for the girl.  Upon entering you found her sleeping curled up in your bed, deciding to leave her like that after such a turbulent night you headed to the safe part of the forest to hunt something to eat for you and her.  You weren't the best cook but at least it will be edible.
Despite being up all night after yesterday's heavy work, you felt energized, the desire to impress the young unmated omega made your alpha jump like an excited dog it was kind of silly but it kept you on your feet so you let it be.
-----------------—-------------------------
Cassandra woke up when she smelled the food, she didn't even notice when she fell asleep, sitting up and more awake she noticed the smell of dirt and blood, a deer, which apparently you hunted.  The animal meat would be enough to quench her hunger for now.  She slapped her chest to stop the contented purr, of course the stupid omega of hers was flattered.
When she finished eating she felt it, she was going to enter in heat early, most likely being so close to an unmated alpha made her start earlier to encourage her to mate.  She had to leave, she had to go back to the castle but it was still too cold for her to travel, growling she approached the trunk where your clothes were and took it to the bed creating a nest, it was very small, stupid peasant alpha.  She took off her clothes and lay down under the blanket, as soon as you arrived you would be a slave to lust and you would take her savagely, with her need satisfied she would kill you and start her way back home, where her mother would reprimand her, assuming that she had already returned from her journey and her life would continue the same as always.
It was that simple.
-------------—-----------------------------
It was night when you returned from work, you were surprised when you don't see any news about the girl who was in your home, normally there would be lines of alphas and betas trying to find her for their own purposes, but everything continued like just another day.
When you opened the door you felt the smell like a blow, pheromones, the girl had gone into heat.  The smell clouded your reason and when you realized you were already on top of her, your face in her neck, you got up quickly but your body didn't move anymore, she let out an enraged growl and pounced towards you, lying down she sit on your lap she started to rub her face on your neck, moving her hips on your member that was barely contained in your pants, a soft chirp came from your chest; your alpha was happy with the omega's treatment, however, you didn't want to take advantage of her in that state.
You tried to pull her away from you only for her to start growling angrily right in your face daring you to move her.  Instead of getting angry at the lack of respect, both you and your alpha were pleased by the brunette's behavior.  With one hand behind her head you brought her closer to kiss her and with the other you encouraged her to rub more on your crotch.  Her growl turned into a purr which was interrupted by soft moans.
You continued like this until the brunette began to growl again, frustration and desire was what her scent said, when you felt her hand trying to take off your pants you regained some sanity, this was just her heat speaking, after this she would leave or someone would come looking for her. And what would they do to you when they knew that you had claimed her as yours? What would they do to her?
You took your hand away from her and gently pushed her until you placed her on the mattress, you kissed her neck going down to her stomach and towards her most intimate part, the smell of her desire filled your senses.
----------------—--------------------------
Hugging her close with your chest on her back and three of your fingers inside her while you pressed her clitoris with your thumb, you did everything possible to please her, in your mouth you had placed one of your scarves like a muzzle, with a shirt you had tied her hands because she refused to stop touching you maybe you should have put a muzzle on her too because your arms were full of bite marks that the mischievous girl had made every time she had the opportunity, you would swear that she had even licked the blood off.
"Alpha, please, I need you inside" her voice sounded like a siren's song, tempting you to let go of the post you had tied yourself to avoid being drowned.  "It's not enough, I need you"
Whining like a beaten dog, you rested your forehead on her back, speeding up your movements while pinching her nipples, concentrating on her and not on your erection trapped inside your pants ruined by the all the times you came.
A little more just a little more, after coming so many times the haze of her heat should diminish enough for her fatigue to overcome her and she would go to sleep for a while.  Giving you enough time to go for suppressants with the duke, although that would use up half of your money it was nevertheless a necessary expense.
"I need more, why don't you take me? Don't you want me too?" You want her, you want her so much, despite having reached orgasm you felt dissatisfied, you wanted you needed to be inside her, you could feel her squeezing your fingers and you imagine how delicious it would be to feel her around you.  "Come on my alpha let me feel you inside me"
You pushed her face down onto the mattress that was already filled with sweat and cum, using your mouth and hands as you listened to her moans restricted by the sheet.
Just a little more. How much energy could she have?
-------------—-----------------------------
The alpha was asleep under her, it seems that the tiredness of the previous day and today was too much for a mere mortal.
Cassandra did not know whether to cry with joy or helplessness while she had come so many times reaching the point of overstimulation, her stupid omega would not be pleased until the stupid alpha push her knot and came inside her, she thought that would be an easy task, the alphas she had found were easy to seduce, she didn't even need to use her pheromones, just one look, one movement and the idiots entered the forest running to their death. But of course the first alpha woman she knew had better control than that, the damn woman made her beg! BEG! AND THE BITCH KEPT REFUSING HER. How dare she?!
She should take it by force, ride her until she was empty until she was the one who begged her for mercy, even unconsciously she could feel her cock ready to be used; easily breaking free of her restraints, the brunette lowers herself just enough to finally free your erection from your pants, licking her lips as she proceeds to have her fun and revenge.
-------------—-----------------------------
Opening your tired eyes, the first thing you see is your guest with her mouth wrapped around your dick. You moan when you feel how you touch the deepest part of her throat. Seeing that you are awake, she proceeds to take it out. You can clearly see a thread of saliva and semen coming out of her mouth, with a smile that sends shivers down your spine, she gives the tip a few slow licks going down towards your scrotum... Only to bite one of your testicles, your moan of pleasure transforms into one of pain, her malicious laugh reaches your ears and growling furiously you grab her face forcing her to take you completely, fucking her face fast you remove the scarf from your mouth you talk to her.
"You wanted it so much so take it slut" You see her eyes narrow with a mischievous glint in them "Bite me again and I'll turn your buttocks red, whore"
Feeling your orgasm close to her, you grab her hair, keeping her still while you finish inside her throat, making her swallow your semen. Coming to your senses, you leave her mouth, kneel and lift her into your lap hugging her, ignoring the fact that your head is at the height of her breasts.
"I'm sorry pretty girl, I shouldn't have been so rough with you" you hear a soft moan and feel her rub on your head "You just wanted my attention, forgive me" You caress her back and the small sighs she lets out make you feel guilty.
"We'll do whatever you want, darling."
You feel how her hand begins to gently caress your member until it hardens again, releasing it and moving her hips, rubbing her sex with yours. It's clear what she wants and you no longer remember why you denied her in the first place.
-------------—-----------------------------
Yes, yes, yes Cassandra will finally have what she wants, after seeing your good performance her desire to kill you has faded but her desire to have you has increased, she is going to capture you and keep you trapped as her personal pet, she is not going to share you with anyone, she will never let you go.
Concentrated on you, she almost didn't hear the call of her sisters through the connection with her swarm, no, no, no, why now?! The door swings open violently before you can enter inside her.
She see the moment that your instincts change from procreation to protection.
Fuck her luck.
“It’s a snow globe.”
In a miraculous moment of clarity, she realised what George was violently trying to communicate to her from behind Lockwood: play dumb.
When Lockwood had shaken George awake plenty of hours before, it had taken a while for George's brain to catch up to what was happening. By the time it did, he was worriedly watching Lockwood animatedly talking to one of the shop assistants from a nearby telephone booth.
"No idea what it is, or why..." he was telling Lucy. Lockwood was looking around for him. George nervously shifted behind one of the bars of the booth.
"Maybe he's just blowing off some steam?"
Lockwood was now wearing an aggressively tinseled Santa hat while wielding an identical one. George had a pretty good idea who that was for.
"Er, maybe. But perhaps you should come home too. Just in case."
Lockwood had finally spotted George and was frantically waving him over. George did not like the way the Christmas lights were reflecting in Lockwood's eyes.
"For the love of God, Luce, please come home. You can't leave with me...this."
With a bone-deep sigh, George regretfully hung up and emerged from the telephone booth, smiling weakly at Lockwood.
He was more than grateful for his presence of mind earlier, once they had reached Portland Row. Lucy walked in just minutes after Lockwood's unpleasant realisation about Nicholas and guffawed at the sight of the tiny tsunami of gifts.
"Brilliant," George said. "Your turn." He handed Lucy one of the last presents he had been holding and disappeared into the kitchen. She turned towards Lockwood incredulously, who was indignantly standing in front of the sea of presents with his hands on his hips. She raised her eyebrows.
"Oh, okay, I see how it is. I buy a few gi-"
"In what WORLD is this few-"
"- few gifts, and suddenly I'm the bad guy. It's Christmas, but I'm feeling a lot of negativity pent up here."
"Now you're just deflecting." Lucy rolled her eyes as Lockwood started fishing out some receipts from his pockets.
"Can't a guy spend...uh...three-oh. Oh. That's a lot of zeroes."
"Lockwood. How much did you spend?"
"...suddenly, I don't think I know any numbers past ten."
"Lockwood!"
"I couldn't figure out the installment plans! That's Y/N's job!"
George returned to the front door corridor and started picking up some boxes at random and shaking them experimentally.
"Yeah, a fine job you've left her to sort out your debts! No more shopping till Easter. And George, if you don't steal his wallet, I will."
He held up the present he was holding to Lockwood. "Listen, I don't think Y/N's going to want all of these, so how about I -"
"Absolutely not."
George made a rather rude gesture and disappeared back into the kitchen. Lockwood bent over to start clearing a path through the presents to the stairs.
"How was I supposed to know she was only kidding?"
"You know what her sense of humour's like. George and I would have picked up on it in a second."
A very unhappy Lockwood straightened out from under the avalanche of presents.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
Tumblr media
A little before lunch, Lockwood knocked on the attic door. It was ajar, and she was reading in a contorted position, all twisted up with a blanket on her rug in the one patch of sunlight in the room, leaning against her bed. She nearly tipped over when Lockwood poked his head in, but caught herself in time.
"Hey."
"Hey."
They stared at each other for a moment. It was the first time they had been alone since the morning's happenings, and it didn't feel as easy to laugh about it all when it was just them. Because the truth was, she didn't find it all that funny. Confusing, yes. Stressful, perhaps. But it wasn't that funny when all the emotions felt excruciatingly true. She closed her book, and Lockwood took another step in, leaning against the bannister.
"I'm sorry about the whole Nicholas thing. I was having a laugh, that's all. I never wanted to make you seem...foolish."
"I don't even remember Nicholas. I mean, that guy."
"Lockwood."
"Who's Loc- I mean, Nicholas? I'm Lockwood."
"Yes, I know."
"And I don't feel foolish. Do you think I'm foolish?"
She smiled at him with rheumy eyes, and his face twisted strangely like he was suppressing his own smile. His eyes drifted to the book in her lap, and the blanket swaddling her face.
"Er, reading?"
"Trying to. The sun's making me feel so sleepy."
"Then move out of the sun. Or take a nap."
She glared at him, scoffing incomprehensibly. "T-take a nap? What am I, 5? And we barely get any sun as it is, I'm trying to thaw my insides."
"Can you even breathe in that?"
She took a wheezing breath. "...yes."
Still, Lockwood sat down next to her, and after a bit of scuffling, she was tipped slightly to her side, leaning against him slightly. She was starting to regret using such a thick blanket through which she barely felt his shoulder. He picked up the book and opened it to the pages her finger was stuck between, and started reading. She closed her eyes and listened. It was some dream to be sitting next to him, without the usual inches between, to hear his honeyed voice ebb and flow, to watch his fingers smooth the pages and fiddle with the edges.
It was mildly disconcerting to hear the shape of his voice take on such a poetic form as if they were in some parallel universe. As if they were in some parallel universe where falling in love was easier than falling asleep.
Tumblr media
A few hours later, she woke up on her bed with a jolt, writhing uncomfortably in her blanket. Once she had managed to peel herself out of it, the embarrassment of having fallen asleep on him sunk in. She needed something to take her mind off it and eventually decided to tinker in her workshop. Down in the basement, she had a small makeshift workshop set up for the occasional tinkering or fiddling with some spare parts. It helped her mind relax when her hands had something to do.
She spent a very peaceful hour regluing some tiny diamonds that had fallen off an old watch. That was, until a door banged open from somewhere else in the house, followed by frantic voices. She looked up in alarm as the footsteps drew closer, blinking owlishly behind her magnifying eyeglasses. Her door swung open and Lockwood walked in, closely followed by a barely suppressed silent, but very agitated, George.
“Y/N, look what I found in George’s suitcase.”
Between the panicked sirens blaring in her head and George’s epileptic hand gestures, it was a miracle she was able to process all those words in the right order.
“…oh?”
A frozen smile sat on her face as her eyes nervously darted between the boys’ faces.
“It’s a snow globe.”
In a miraculous moment of clarity, she realised what George was violently trying to communicate to her: play dumb.
”What’s a snow globe?”
George was positively beside himself.
Lockwood, on the other hand, looked alarmed and touchingly concerned.
“You...you don’t know what a snow globe is? Do they not have snow globes where you’re from?”
“Did you just ask me if they have snow globes…in Hackney?”
He looked slightly miffed, but she couldn’t stay annoyed for long with his foolishly good-natured intentions.
“Look, Lockwood, I’m a little busy here. Is there something I can help you with?”
“I just…wanted to see if you knew anything about this.” He turns it over in his hand, and even with the shelter of anonymity, she finds herself desperately seeking the approval in his eyes that she had been hoping for. “It’s...it's beautiful. When I first saw it, I thought…” He looks up from the snow globe at her, where she’s holding her breath, and she’s distantly aware of how suspiciously invested she must seem in his answer.
“I thought it had to be you.”
She has his answer, but she still hasn’t let go of that breath, as if keeping at bay all the emotions and hope that will come rushing in with her exhale. He watches her face, and she’s too scared to even twitch. Too scared to come right out and say everything the snow globe meant.
“You thought wrong."
George’s seizure-like convulsions returned with a new vigour. Lockwood continues standing there for another minute, and it makes her think he hasn’t heard her until he regretfully bows his head.
“I suppose. Well, I hope your work won’t keep you long. We'll be having tea soon. Let’s- good God, George, are you having a fit?!”
Tumblr media
After their Christmas Eve tea, they exchanged presents, and to call it an awkward affair would have been an understatement. She passed Lockwood the pair of snowman socks. George grudgingly passed him the snow globe. The absurdity of the gifts and their donors made the four of them pause for a moment.
Finally, Lucy broke the quiet by handing out her gifts: mugs with pictures of Inspector Barnes accompanied with cheesy quotes. George's was 'live, laugh, love.' Lockwood's was 'keep calm and carry on.' But everyone was still looking far too solemn, so she nearly had an aneurysm holding back her laughter.
After they all retired to their rooms, she retreated into her chilly workshop. But instead of continuing with her work, she just sat at her desk, brooding a little. A few minutes later, there was a knock on her door as a rather breathless and pink-faced Lockwood poked his head in.
"Still working?"
She shook her head. "What are you doing?"
"Returning the presents." He turned to step out but hesitated. "Are you sure you don't want to keep any?"
"I'm sure that I would hate it if we went bankrupt. Do you need any help?"
"Oh, no, I'll be - yes. Yes, actually. These are a lot of presents. If you could spare the time...I'd really appreciate it."
So after she bundled up in her woollens and wrestled a scarf onto Lockwood, they somehow hurriedly carted the many slightly scuffed shopping bags into the cab, where they only had a brief break to catch their breath, given how close they lived to the shops.
After that, it was a race to hit all the stores before they closed for Christmas Eve. After a couple of rounds, they had developed the fairly efficient system of Lockwood lugging the gifts around while she spoke with the shop assistants. The one drawback to their fine plan, at least for him, was her glancing at the receipts and the too-long numbers at the bottom of them ("Jesus Christ, Lockwood, how did you not have to take out a loan for these? Honestly! Do you think we're made of money?").
Finally, their luck ran out at their very last store, which looked as though it had been closed for hours. She knocked and peered inside feverishly, clutching the very last gift stubbornly.
"No, no, we were so close! Now what do we do?"
"We can come back after the holidays. Or," he gently pried the box out of her fingers, smoothly lifting the top, "you could keep it."
It was a silver charm bracelet, with rapier and lavender charms dangling from the central chain, much like the ones they laid out on jobs. It was beautiful. But she couldn't take it.
"You already gave me a present."
"Have another. A little special something for a special someone."
His cavalier attitude, his foolish smile - in that moment, it was all too much. Her terrible temper flared and she shoved the present into him, forcefully enough to make him stumble a little. She turned and started walking home briskly, fuming silently until he and his long legs finally caught up to her.
"Wha - was it something I said? Y/N? Y/N."
"I don't know, Lockwood." She was sick of his carelessness, sick enough to be a little careless herself, let her tongue run loose. "What have you said? Or haven't said?"
"Y/N, you know I'm terrible at riddles."
"Well, maybe Belinda can help you."
That stuns him enough to make him stop in his tracks. She slows down and, after steeling her fraught nerves, turns around.
"...what does Belinda have to do with anything?"
His hopelessly clueless expression, which typically soothed her anger in their worst fights, only served to infuriate her further here. She walked towards him angrily.
“I didn't want to give you the goddamn snow globe because Belinda exists. All right? Because there are a thousand different girls out there who you’ll like better than me.” There’s a sudden tightness in her chest. With some difficulty, she turns away from him, lightly pressing her sternum. “I can’t compete with them, Lockwood. I won’t let you make me.”
She hears the crunch of the snow under his shoe as he takes a step towards her.
"Belinda is...amazing. She might even be perfect. But even she's just a friend, because...because you exist. And-and I could find...the most perfect girls out there, but the image of you would still be breathing in some corner of my mind. It wouldn't be the same with anyone else. It never is."
She sniffed gently. "This might be the right time to tell you that the snow globe...was from me."
She can't decide if she hates or loves how she can hear the smile in his voice. "No. Really?"
She turns back around, smiling sarcastically at him. "Ha-ha. But don't get too excited about it. I made little figurines to represent the four of us at Portland Row, but you can't even see them from the outside. It's ridiculous."
"It's okay. I'll know they're there."
At that moment, she felt a rush of gratitude towards Lockwood. He made everything a little easier, a little sweeter. They were standing so close that she could see a tiny snowflake on one of his eyelashes. She didn't dare breathe.
"There really never was any competition."
"I know."
"Then why does it sound like you don't believe me?"
She frowned. "I do believe you."
"I don't think you do."
"...do you want me to not believe you?"
"Y/N."
"What?"
"There's something you should know."
"Lockwood, I am going to throttle you."
"You're standing under mistletoe."
She glanced upwards, and it was as though all the air had been stolen from her lungs. Against the pitch-black sky and the gentle dusting of snow, a soft white sprig of mistletoe was curling out of the edge of a branch. She lowered her eyes back to Lockwood's, and her eyes fluttered shut as he leaned over.
As impossibly close as they were before, they were even closer now, and it still felt like they would spend their whole lives trying to get close enough to each other. She kissed him the way she loved him - desperately, with her whole being. When they broke apart, the tip of his nose and cheeks were tinged pink, and there was a light dusting of snow on his hair. In that moment, all she remembered thinking was that none of his presents made a better gift than he did.
As they walked home with fingers tangled together, she realised that they didn't need some parallel universe. In every universe, they would somehow, somewhere, find each other, and dare to love.
A Not So Common Fairy (Teaser)
Summary: you're a dark fairy from the upside-down and when you see that a gate is open, your curiosity gets the best of you.
Nothing remotely interesting ever happened in this dimension. It was always dark with constant storms, which I didn't mind actually. But I always hoped something would change. Maybe a ray of sun, or the budding of a flower? But no, nothing beautiful ever came to this place...
So, when I got wind that Henry Creel was opening gates to another world, I decided it was time for me to leave this place in search of something more. There was nothing tying me here, only the memories of my family...
Without a second thought, I lift my multicolored wings and set off into the air, heading straight to an open gate. The only thing left behind is a small trail of black dust, but it is quickly swept away by the winds of the never-ending storms.
......................
I emerge from the gate, and for the first time ever, I see the color green. Instead of the dark decaying plants from my dimension, this one is full of life! I stare in awe at all the green leaves on the trees, the moss growing on the ground, even the small river flowing along a path. I'm about to fly over to a particular budding flower when I hear voices coming from below me. Not trusting what the noise is from, I try shrinking myself, but for some reason, being in this dimension is limiting my magic. So instead, I perch myself on a branch just high enough to be out of sight but low enough to hear what is going on.
"We need to see If there's a gate around here, It's the only way we'll be able to find Vecna and free Max from his curse." Says one of the younger humans in the group. Vecna? Curse? Are they talking about Henry? How do they know about the gates?
Intrigued, I lean in closer from the branch I'm perched on and continue to listen to the conversation this group of humans are having.
"Dustin, have you even considered how dangerous this plan is? And Eddie is still wanted for murder, we can't just go walking around town looking for a gate!" Murder!? These humans are getting more interesting by the second.
"Steve, it's our only shot, I don't see any other options..." Dustin replies. "And besides, I think Eddie should have a say, since he's the one being chased by the whole town. So what do you say Eddie?"
The one who must be Eddie stands up and addresses the group. I take a moment to look him over, and I can't help but stare a little longer than I intended, there's just something about him that draws me in.
"I say, you're asking me to follow you into Mordor, which, if I'm totally straight with you I think is a really bad idea. But uh the Shire, the Shire is burning. So Mordor it is." I'm amazed at how brave these humans are, knowing how ruthless Henry, or I guess Vecna, can be. But I guess I have a lot to learn about this new dimension, and the humans who live here.
After agreeing on what Eddie said, the group all start to follow Dustin. Eddie trails behind, seemingly lost in thought and I take the time to admire his features. In Vecnas dimension, there really arn't any attractive males, or any human like creatures for that matter, so it's hard not to admire Eddie in this moment.
But I guess I didn't realize how intently I was looking and how much closer I was leaning over the branch to get a closer look, because all of a sudden, the branch I'm perched on cracks, and I fall a few feet before my wings are able to extend. I quickly fly up to another branch, higher up this time, and behind the trunk of the tree. But I'm sure I felt eyes on me for a split second...
"Eddie! What are you still doing back there?" Dustin calls out. The group is already a bit further along the path, but Eddie is stood at the base of the tree I'm hiding in, staring at the cracked branch.
I stay completely still, not sure If he's already seen me.
"I just, I thought I saw-" Eddie starts, but stops and shakes his head, turing back to follow the group. "Nevermind."
🖤🖤🖤
A/N: This is just a random idea that I thought of, not sure if it'll just be turned into a few imagines or if I'll make it into a story, haven't decided yet 😂 But I've been in an Eddie mood lately so there's plenty more where this came from 😁❤️‍🔥
