may i request a jedi fem!reader x tech where they are on a mission together after some time, and they get separated from the rest of the group. she fights very well against some opponents but ends up getting just a bit bloody and hurt, mostly due to an aggressive fighting style, that of a warrior. tech notices all the new scars n stuff on her face and forearms and is worried. she insists she's fine and tries to brush it off, even though she doesnt like them and makes her less of a jedi and more of a warrior. he comforts her telling her things like your a great general and you don't have to follow the code perfectly to still be a good jedi. so basically first kiss fluff and comfort, a bit of angst.
sorry it was so long! have a great day/night
I love Tech soo muchhhh 🥹 This was a cute idea, so here it is! Hope you like it.
Next request will feature Commander Mayday I think!
Stay tunned,
Xx,
Sky.
"JEDI WARRIOR"
TBB REQUESTS —TECH/F READER
WARNINGS: Blood, scars. A sprinkle of angst but mostly fluff and comfort 📩💔💖
"I'll distract them!" your voice shouts loud and clear through the batch's coms frequency.
Tech frowns, dodging a shot and quickly neutralising the droid responsible for it.
"General..." he begins, clearly not happy with the offer, but you cut him of quickly.
"That's an order" you almost bark back to him.
You don't mean to be mean or harsh. But you're in the middle of a battle, there's lifes on danger, and though you know Tech's worried about you, you can't let that distract you. You need to distract your enemies so the Batch can get to their base; so they can get the information needed. Information that will save hundreds of lifes and will be valuable to the Republic. You know Tech will probably have a list of the things that could go wrong with you getting separated from them in his mind; but it's your choice, ultimately. If you die, so be it. You'd do it honorably.
Tech clenches his jaw.
"Yes, General".
You run away, jumping over dozens of droids and never slowing down, your orange lightsaber dancing through their lines, a blur of light in the almost darkness of the arriving night. While you atract the majority of their troops and pull them far away, the Batch advances. You hope you can hold them off til they get what you need.
Time passes, and your enemies seem to close around you. Droids are not the main problem; the natives of Garsa are, riding big felines with sharp teeth that painfully closes around your arms and legs more than once. One of the predators catches your ankle and pulls, dragging you through the dirt; and you can't help the furious, painful scream that leaves your mouth, twisting around quickly and stabbing your lightsaber through his own open mouth. The animal screeches and dies.
When you hear Hunter's voice through your coms again, half an hour later, you're on the verge of falling unconscious. You can barely fight much longer; energy drained even with your extensive Jedi training. You feel blood all over you, mixing with the dirt of the ground you've been rolling in. It tingles painfully, all the open wounds on your body; specially the deep scratches on your face, that tugs with every facial expression and movement.
You must be quite the sight, because when the Batch comes near you, Tech suddenly halts upon seeing you. A second later, they're all standing around you, helping you to get rid of the last enemies and giving you cover while you start your hurried way back to the Marauder.
Once you're safely flying away on the ship, you collapse down onto the floor. Wrecker grabs you before you can really slam down onto it; lowering you gently. Your mind feels dizzy with exhaustion; and you've almost fallen asleep in place when Tech kneels besides you, route already established and on automatic pilot.
His fingers carefully brush your hair away; chocolate brown eyes studying you worriedly.
"Let's get you cleaned up and fixed, General" he whispers, putting your arm over his shoulders and tugging you up to a stand with him.
You grunt in pain and lean most of your weight against him.
"Don't know if I can stay up and conscious through a shower" you mumble tiredly.
Tech starts a slow, careful walk towards the bathroom. The rest of the Batch scatters throughout the ship, tending to their own wounds and exhaustion.
"That is okay" Tech answers, unbothered. "You could stay with your underware on and I could assist you with that, if you would be comfortable with such situation".
You glance at him and inevitably smile. His cheeks are slightly flushed, though he's trying to keep his voice and posture as professional as possible. You know it's a weird situation, and he doesn't want to make you uncomfortable.
Maybe you would be with Hunter or Wrecker or Cross. But you've always felt safe and at ease with Tech specially; and it would be just one soldier helping another. Of sorts.
" 'M okay with that" you give him your permission, and Tech nods quietly.
Once in the bathroom, you hold yourself with a hand against the wall and slowly pull your clothes of. Tech intently stares down at the floor; only risking a quick glance upwards when you let out a small whimper of pain. Your pant's are abandoned on the floor; but your bloody shirt is stuck to a wound on your stomach, and just touching the material of the shirt makes your wound burn.
"Let me" Tech asks, gently, and you push your hands over your head, staying as still as possible while he carefully separates the shirt from your skin and pulls it off of your body.
You sigh in relief and thank him before wobbling into the shower. Tech's hand stabilises you; and he makes sure to catch you whenever you stumble a bit too much for his comfort. You get rid of the dirt and blood, being specially carefull with your injuries; and then gently dry your skin with a towel.
Tech takes a step back –dropplets of water running down his still in place armour–, eyes glancing down at the floor again. You smile with his consideration of your privacy; though the smile dissapears from your face when you take a look at the small mirror in front of you.
The wounds are deep, and they will scar. One crosses over your nose, another cuts vertically through your left eyebrow, and two other big ones slashes your right cheek. Smaller ones go over your lip, though you think those will heal nicely. You open your towel and glance down, analysing. There's more across your body. You...
"Don't look like a jedi" you unconsciously mumble out loud. "More like a warrior".
Tech's eyes meet yours through the reflection of the mirror. He frowns, and you fake a smile while you pull yourself out of your thoughts. You hide under the towel.
"I'm fine".
It's obviously a lie; and Tech has always been intelligent.
His hands hesitantly land on your shoulders; thumbs caressing slowly.
"You're a great general" he tells you, gentle. "This was a suicide mission, and yet we all made it out fairly well, considering the circumstances. You don't have to follow the code perfectly to be a good Jedi. Jedi's use the Force to help people, to bring peace to the galaxy. Isn't that what you do everyday?"
His words make your heart ache. Your eyes fill with tears.
Yeah, you do. Maybe he's right. Maybe you don't have to follow the code literally step by step. Maybe what you're doing is enough. You're only human, after all.
Maybe...
You turn towards Tech. He's tall, and handsome, and polite and gentle, intelligent and caring. You've always liked him. Always felt something towards him, even if you've tried to burry it inside your soul.
Maybe... Your hands tremble as they make their way up to his face; carefully cupping his cheeks. Tech blushes, but he doesn't glance or move away. He's still, breathing heavier, eyes fixed on yours, waiting expectantly. His hands slowly travel down your back to your hips; his back curves down to close the distance between your lips.
You cling to his shoulders, stand on your tiptoes, and kiss him. Your eyes close with a relieved sigh, and you can feel him first tensing, then relaxing, into the kiss too. His lips are soft and his movements meassured and gentle; kissing you like you're the most important thing in the galaxy. You feel warm and safe. Excited and in peace at the same time.
When you separate in order to breathe, he caresses your cheek in wonder and presses his forehead against yours with a happy sigh.
Yeah. Maybe it is okay.
THE END.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Yoooo I'm on fire everybody! Writing nonestop requests for yall!
Still got a few to go (another Tech, Mayday, Wolffe, Hunter, some non romantic ones...). Be patient, I will get there.
Think this one turned out well.
Stay tunned!

The Conduit
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So heres the conduit! I'm very happy with how this turned out.
The conduit as a class is best described as a "Con Based Martial with spellcaster aesthetics", since, mechanically, it fills a martial role, being a class that doesnt use resources, with a primary party focus on dealing damage, while flavor wise, it goes around slinging blasts of energy at people.
This class mechanically is very much based on the warlock of 3rd edition, with flavour and some mechanical inspiration from the Kineticist of Pathfinder 2e.
The two core design elements that I tried to stick to with making this were 1. Being resourceless and 2. Customizability.
For the first point, none of the class features are limited in uses per day. No feature adds an additional resource for the player to track, nor uses spell slots nor etc. The closest it comes to a resource is its Exertion mechanic, where certain things tire out your conduit character. Though, this serves less as a resource, and more as a temporary debuff, reducing your damage output whilst its in effect, before being easily removed.
The second point is customizability. The first element of this is subclasses. Of course, theres the variety of subclasses to pick from, but notably, is that unlike other classes, you aren't bound to picking just one subclass. From 7th level onwards, whenever you reach your subclass feature level, you can choose to continue advancing in your subclass, or you can take the initial features of a different subclass. This means while you can do a more traditional route of going "I'm the lightning guy, I'm taking lightning every level", you can also do an avatar style "Master of 4 elements" and have 4 different subclasses by level 20. Mix and match them as you like, be the "Fire and Lightning" person, be the "I control water mostly, but also a little bit of ice", combine your elements and so forth.
The next part of customizability is in talents. Talents are very much your classic invocation style feature, of which there are... like. 60 of them at this point. But! Theres a lot of variety in what they do. While you have your choices of ones that give additional powers, like flight or teleportation or whatnot, a large bulk of them are dedicated to one thing: Reshaping your elemental blast. Go out there as a fire guy and blast people with fire, then turn around and literally explode everything around you in flames, then focus your blast into a roaring line of fire that pushes everything within it towards you, and then rush the last man standing with a spear made of literal fire.
The talents are designed around not just being able to reshape and modify your blast in a bunch of different ways, but you can combine them together and do cool stuff.
Because at its core, I wanted to design this class to fill a very specific style of fantasy, and thats of the type of magic you see in some settings where its just "I control this one element", and then from that the mage turns that into a billion different things.
A fire wizard will say "I can cast fire bolt, fire ball, and scorching ray". A fire conduit instead just has an elemental blast, but they can turn that elemental blast into a bolt that is hurled at one person, or have it explode into a ball of flame, or split it into multiple beams.
Its very much a creativity first subclass, and thats whats behind its capstone! The capstone is all of this at its epitomy, the ability to freely reshape your elemental power (By freely, temporarily learning talents) into whatever form you imagine.
Hell, customizability is built even into the very core of its flavour
Yeah <3
I hope you guys enjoyed reading this class as much as I enjoyed writing it and as much as I enjoy talking about it <3

Here I am again, with another request! So Yautja x gn! S/O, where the reader fights like this guy in this video. Oneshot or Headcanons you choose.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tkJXiRmRSCo
Synopsis: it has been a while since you moved to the Yautja’s spaceship with your new alien boyfriend, all of the Yautjas have been mean towards both of you, since your boyfriend is warrior who fell in love with a mere and powerless human. But there is one Yautja that made you finally snap! You challenge him into a knife fight! Your boyfriend tried to intervene, but little did he know that you are great in combat! With your interesting movements and fight style.
You can choose if it’s going to be a draw or the reader wins.
Feel free to ignore for being too confusing.
Thank you!
I'm sorry it took so long! qwq I have to get back into the mind space I had and it's not as easy as I thought...
Hope you'll be satisfied with what my head chewed up!
The Rasputin style (HCs)
Yautja x GN! reader
For those curious, here's the vid
youtube
You were supposed to stay on the ship
But 'supposed' never cut it with you, not when there was an infinite quantity of vast worlds you could explore
So there you were, currently on Yautja Prime, once again, trailing close behind your mate
After you had to promise and swear on your life to not provoke other yautjas, and to keep a low profile
You were on thin ice ever since you met another one of his species, and you didn't even get to make a proper impression!
They were quick to judge you based on the fact that you were human, a species not even worth the time and effort to hunt most of the time
Sure, there were some exceptions, but they had a lot more than just another yautjas word to back up their skill
Although, you were content with the rules
You were the intruder here, after all, you and your mate breaking the long-set rules his race lived by for centuries, you'd probably get the same looks if you ever went back to Earth
If only looks were the only thing you received
You were with your boyfriend long enough to learn their body language, to know that they were laughing at you
And at your mate as well, presumably
He noticed it too, but he didn't react, just to keep his face, a sense of dignity
So you let it slip as well
Until their remarks got verbal
You were prepared for a lot and ready to let plenty of things slide, you didn't want to cause any trouble for your boyfriend, but you had to draw the line somewhere
So you turned around and ran your mouth, more or less calling out one of the loudest ones for a fight
You were kind of glad you didn't get to see the flashes of emotional turmoil on your partner's face
The mix of fear, confusion, anger, disappointment...
Yeah, you didn't need to see that, you had a lecture coming your way either way
You spilt your mind, hoping they had their translator on, not realizing a crowd started to form
And two sharp razors were glistening in the sun soon after
Good thing you noticed those
You swiftly moved out of the way and circled the attacker
Well, danced around them really
They were slow to turn around, giving you enough time to pull out your own weapon
The confusion was quite evident on their face
They growled and charged at you
And you twirled around, again, leaving a little cut on your opponent's side behind as a warning
A warning they didn't head
You hold back, for the most part, they had a physical advantage after all, but you managed to avoid getting hit, along with slashing them here and there when you got an opening
You twirled, and jumped in an expressionistic manner, working up your opponent, exhausting them and slowing them down
You might have been lucky with them being young blood, more experienced fighters would not let your movements deceive them so easily
You caught a few looks at your mate during the fight, he looked quite disappointed, which was understandable, you broke a promise after all
But the fight had to come to an end at some point, and ending it without a winner wasn't an option, you were not going to try and break the honour codex, it was you who challenged them after all
So you waited and waited until your opponent's movements started to get sloppy
These fights were meant to be a life-and-death situation
They finally fell to their knees, and two options open for you
Slow and painful
Or fast and painless
They were not very nice to you, sure, but that wasn't enough to let them bleed out
So you chose fast and painless
You twirled for the last time, getting enough force in your movement to lent the final blow, and slice the other's head right off with your blade
Looking around at the crowd, they all looked baffled, bamboozled
Humans were a weird race
You tiptoed back to your partner, an innocent smile on your lips, and embraced his arm
"So, where were we going?"
He ruffled at your hair, patting it at the process with his free hand, clicking slowly with his tusks
He might not be angry, he certainly wasn't happy with you, but he was certainly proud you were able to stand your ground against someone who wasn't him

Y'all bear with me on my bad phone pictures and excessive notes lmao, but, uh, ask and you shall receive.
Here's my concept art for Jason in my fic Imprint, where he's a halfa and Danny's biological dad and the king father/king regent? of the infinite realms.
Here's the first ever sketch I did somewhere around chapter 2 or 3:
Tumblr media
Featuring larval Ghost!Jason, Pit madness/Lazarus Water and little bitty Ghost!Danny.
I was already thinking about the possibility of a crown but didn't know what to do with it yet so I just left a halo as a placeholder DBZ-style, which you'll see in the next few concept stages until I finish the latest one.
Ah, the oldest concept I had for the Pit is that it laid dormant in Jason's mind and would physically pull itself out of his head, which is why it's kind of half melded with Jason's helmet in this one. And I'm still kind of considering that idea, but I'm leaning more towards it coming from the bulk of Jason's body instead, as we see it in chapter 8 of Imprint when readers get to see Jason's ghost nonsense from an outside perspective. They (the Pit) is definitely more tiger-like now, and you'll catch a glimpse of a sketch dump where I'm trying to get a handle on tiger shape language (?). They'll still be water based and colored like the pits/a lagoon. It may be hard to picture- just trust me.
Uhhh let's see....the "lantern ribcage" is a part of the design that's really important to me so you'll see me consistently playing with it as I go through these early concepts. That's his core nestled in the lower part of his ribs, visible but protected behind the iron cage of his bones.
I wanted to incorporate Jason's helmet and other parts of his vigilante/hero uniforms in his ghost form since that part of his life is deeply personal to him.
I also knew that I wanted him to have a very monstrous aspect to his design- and I can't resist slapping pointy teeth on any of my concepts that deviate from being strictly human. So those aren't going away. Nostrils to breathe smoke and fire so Jason can better emote with most of his face being metal.
Danny's default ghost form, opposed to Jason's will still kinda be the one he has in his original dimension- black and white suit and the classic DP symbol on the chest, but probably better armored and with a bat emblem thrown in somewhere. So thats what I drew him with here- though little kid sized, with an added black streak in his hair to complete the inverse of the Lazarus Pit streak he has in human form.
In ghost form, when Jason needs precision, his go-to weapon will be the All Blades, which I have kinda illustrated here.
I may kinda set the bones of this design aside to use as a more humanoid ghost form that's closer to his living form, but that's still up in the air.
Here's concept 2, which I did on chapter...5? I think? Which is when I decided I wanted to make Jason's most comfortable ghost form to be kinda big and outrageous:
Tumblr media
This one's got some notes doodled around it- but I'll type them out in case you can't read my handwriting.
Jason was definitely leaning more toward dragon (and I'm still trying to find the balance between dragon and phoenix that works nicely for him, but we're getting there.)
I decided not to put heat pits on his face recently so that the parts of his head modeled after the helmet are smooth metal armor. I tried to elongate the head but still keep the lines of his helmet in the design.
This is also the first time I started messing with horns- which have been bent in just about every direction at this point trying to make them mesh well with the rest of his design. The uppermost notes in the image mention basing the shape of his horns off of one of his weapons. I thought that the flaming all blades would just be overkill at that point and decided to play with using the Kris knife he gets from the League. Which is....still overkill but it's less fire to draw, so we'll call it a even. There is also a note on my decision to make his horns into a pair only because of being Bruce's second son and the second Robin. (I have put way too much fucking thought into this if you haven't figured that out already).
Tried a different look for the teeth and ended up scrapping it.
I also started leaning more into making his back look as messed up as possible at this point and started thinking of the....mountain range in plated rows like a croc's back.
And here's concept 3, which also starts playing with colors and the all-tail, no-legs look that I decided to stick with:
Tumblr media
This is definitely the biggest jump between concepts so far and was sketched up while writing chapter 7, which I think is the first time we get to experience his ghost forms (there's 2 that we saw in that chapter).
So I continued to smooth and lengthen the head and tried a different thing with the teeth- which I kept. I also felt a lot better about the lines from the helmet with this concept. I tried curling his kris knife horns forward, trying to play with their form. Those have changed since.
This is the first time I added hair, but it's hard to see. He, like Danny, has an inversed streak of black at the front of his 'do to reflect the Lazarus stripe.
Again with the halo placeholder because I was still on the fence about the crown. Started trying to make the mountains of his spine more volcanic looking. Don't know if I'm keeping that or not yet.
So the three major differences between this and it's predecessors is the 1) mantle of smoke that is constantly being expelled from his body that is supposed to imitate a kinds cloak/mantle; 2) the tail, which has since been changed into a fiery tail instead of a ghostly one; and 3) I slapped his Robin 'R' from the movie UTRH on him to make this form more...him, I guess, and also to make Bruce cry like a baby.
So the things that I have changed is the ribcage, the shape of the horns, the crown (which finally has a rough design and a name based on the fight he has to win to earn it- yes, I already have that arc scribbled out and will most likely be adding it into the story) and I added some extra stuff to the face to match the written descriptions in Imprint.
SO. -Claps hands together- I'd love to hear your thoughts on everything, and I am always interested in hearing how y'all have interpreted these characters for yourselves.
If this is something you want me to do again with other character designs, let me know and I will. I am working on Jason, of course, and the Pit, Frankie boy, Danny's big long boi form, Gotham and some other odds and ends.
(Whoops forgot tags again)

Hannibal song of the day: song no. 8
a bit about the song:
"Parasite"(released in 2010) is a song by How To Destroy Angels(HTDA), a music project by Trent Reznor(NIN) featuring his wife, Mariqueen Maandig Reznor, Atticus Ross and Rob Sheridan. His wife has taken over his usual lead vocalist position, with him taking on the background vocals, although in this song, both of them sing all the lines are the same time (although Mariqueen's voice is still quite dominant). The song fits the experimental, eletronica and post-industrial genres, beginning with a building guitar noise, thick drums soon come in, followed by more discordant guitar screeches. All the guitars soon stop and the drums and a synth bass are left to play behind Trent Reznor's and Mariqueen Maandig Reznor's low, smooth vocals and dominant drums, with the screechy, haunting guitars coming back in later. The lyrics are quite intimate, presenting two subjects talking, maybe asking each other questions about each other and answering them. They are slowly becoming each other, infecting each other, like parasites.
ngl it was hard to find anything about the set meaning, only everything about Trent's style and how he has mixed it with his wife and others, producing this album (so basically about the sound and production) so i guess this will be fully just my interpretation. very hannigram, once again, i have some other songs that remind me of other characters and stuff im gonna have to do smth about those too at some point lol
and again quite short, the song is very instrumental and feel based in my opinion but anyhow
------------------------------
Verse 1
"Yes, I can feel you
Yes, I believe
Yes, you can have me
Yes, I can breathe
Parasite
Yes, now I need you
Yes, you are mine
Yes, you have shown me
Yes, you define
Parasite"
through the whole song, the lines are sung at the same time, creating a feeling of unity and harmony, which the subjects seem to be agreeing to feel. They both feel and need each other, they believe in each other, they agree to devotion to each other and admitting how they have changed after being with each other, they let each other be dependent on one another - it seems like they're merging, like parasites. Maybe they chose the word parasite due to it's slightly negative connotations, maybe that's how the rest of the world sees them, infecting, controversial and desperate and obsessive with their love or unrightous and incorrect - considering that this is most likely based on Mariqueen and Trent, they have rattled the world a bit, Trent being the frontman of a harsh rock band known for its depressing and angry themes and involvement in drugs, Nine Inch Nails and Mariqueen bit less rattling, having been a former vocalist of West Indian Girls and a Playboy model for one of their magazines, but them two together - that have rattled the world, receiving some negative and racist reaction after finding out about the two getting married, even producing a song called "The Space In Between" which talks about their relationship and how the media has been treating them.
for hannigram, these lyrics remind me of them due to this, how they view unity and courtship. They seem to infect each other like parasites - they are quite dangerous to each other and to others around them. Hannibal seems to be like a parasite, he latched himself into Will and since then, hasn't let go of the idea that Will should be his and like him, trying to turn Will into him and understand him as he slowly feeds off of Will's sanity. Will recognises that after realising that Hannibal framed him for his own murders and tries to get revenge, letting Hannibal indulge in him and try to pretend to become Hannibal to try and frame him too, but this ends up with them slowly become more and more dependent on each other, to the point where they can't deny it anymore. It wasn't Will's intention at first, but as time passed by, they both have willingly began to accept each other and Will finally let Hannibal in. Both feel and need each other, they believe in each other, they agree to devotion to each other and admit to how they have changed each other.
in conclusion this is their song fr (<- what i say about every song i ever hear)
------------------------------
additional notes:
i've learned whilst researching for this that another song by htda, "the space in between" was actually used in a promo for hannibal holy shit i have this song in my playlist i am so writing about that one later
i have so many songs that technically apply for season 3 or where i could mention s3 and its driving me insane omfg but anyhow
i recommend the whole self-titled ep by them, it is very good
anyway hope you enjoyed<3

I've been doing redesigns of pop culture characters. Mostly working off the idea "What if I was put in charge of making a show around these properties" and the core founding Avengers was one of the first batches I finished
Ironman: Pretty straightforward; I just wanted something that looked armored, but could easily be simplified. I primarily took inspiration from the EMH version and the first couple of suits from the MCU with the intent that this is his Mark IV suit. That way I can easily do more suits and updated for him the future, particularly to flesh out future line-ups. I also threw in some black detailing to not only avoid using Gray (which most other associated Ironman characters heavily use), but to also act as a winking nod to how he took inspiration from one of his hot rods in the movie for that suits colors. My only real issue with how he turned out is some of the proportioning, so if/when I draw him again I'll try to make his shoulder less broad and his feet larger.
Captain America: Cap was pretty easy to a design for too; I leaned more towards his classic look, but tried to make it look like it was made from more modern materials. So instead of wearing chainmail in a simple suit, he has some pretty standard military gear with an armored chest piece and helmet. I also added some tactical pouches since I can see him either keeping a couple supplies on hand for long missions or to have something to slip a McGuffin into. I kind of have the opposite problem with his proportions that I do with Ironman, so when I draw him again (be it this specific design or more updated suits) I'm going to try to make him broader.
Thor: I prefer his more armored look from the mid 2000's-2020's, but wanted to start with a more classic EMH inspired look. Not totally satisfied with his face and might change the colors a bit in places if I redraw this design, but I do like how he turned out for the most part. Obviously I used the classic version as a base, but I made his belt buckle larger and tried to make the symbol on it look more like a cross between a tree (Yggdrasil) and an Eagle. I also turned his armbands/bracelets into fingerless gloves, taking some inspiration from his Ultimate counterpart and added one of those discs on each hand (I'm thinking they could light up when he's using his powers like the ultimate version too). I tried to keep the helmet simple and easy to draw while keeping the wings on them. I might also change some of the blue pattern on his boots to yellow to help them stand out more.
Hulk: Pretty simple, the only real thing I did was try to keep him a saturated green rather than the flushed one he has in the mcu. I have more problems with him compared to how the others came out, but that's mostly because I'm still figuring out how to draw human faces in my style and do exaggerated physiques, both of which are things that I'm going to have to improve through practice and experience. otherwise I think he at least works as a good starting basis for a good hulk design in my style.
Antman: Leaned toward Hank Pym since I hate how we skipped straight to Scott Lang in the MCU. Obviouisly both classic and EMH were the main inspiration for my take, but I did try to add some aspects from the MCU suit with a more enclosed look and proper gauntlets. I also tried to include a spots on both the gauntlets and belt for him to control his size shifting so that it's easier to justify him doing it without having to draw him going through that motion over and over again. I also tried to adjust the red to be a bit more orange-ish to have him stand apart from other very red-centric characters, though I'm not totally satisfied with the results.
The Wasp: I pretty obviously leaned heavily into the EMH version for my take on Janet Van Dyne, but I also tried to keep the enclosed suit idea for her like with Antman, so I threw in some aspects of the MCU design. I like how Wasp size alteration and other abilities are presented as more legit powers compared to Antman having to rely on the suit, but I did try to give them some visual cohesion by reincorporating the techy aspects of the formers suit into Wasp, though it's probably there more to help here store Pym Particles. I also gave her more of a proper undersuit and helmet and made the wings look kinda techy (Though I tried taking some inspiration from the space suit she had in EMH for those). I also tried throwing in some red to homage some of her original color scheme, but mostly limited it to stuff specifically surrounding her Pym tech.
I'm still trying to figure out how I would go about a story for HOW this version of the Avengers would from; though I would like Loki to be more of a final boss sort of deal, so I'd want to hold off on him being a direct threat until later. I could say that a single villain or one of the dedicated villain factions are the cause, but I think that would be too similar to the opening of EMH and Assemble. So maybe having it be so that a couple of notable, but usually unaffiliated, villains for Ironman, Thor, and maybe Antman team up to try to take them out one at a time, but the fight inevitably leaks out into the streets and draws the attention of the others resulting in them properly teaming up to stop the villains.

Dear listener, I turned on my car radio for about five hours on a long drive this week and found myself suffering and appalled through the advert-heavy and song-lite nature of it all. Seriously, this is what passes for radio programming these days? The ninety-nine and one-half trillionth T-Swift breakup ballad? Pop-country tunes that manage to all sound the EXACT same as the previous pop-country tune?? Radio rock stations featuring tunes with less balls than a castrati troupe!? Modern hip-hop/rap music that all sounds roughly equivalent to setting up a lawncare sprinkler system in my car only without the water!!? Nine-to-ten agonizing commercials in a row before you get to the commercial-free hour, only to be then reminded between each individual song that it’s the commercial free music hour!!??!?!!?? I flipped from station to station hoping for some form of alleviation, for SOME hope that music is still alive and well on the radio in 2023. Y’know what I found out? The absolute BEST music programming on modern radio is based on tunes created around two to three centuries ago. That’s right folks! The best radio station I came across was a classical one. The classical radio deejay was informative, his voice was soft and pleasant, there were minimal commercials and the musical interludes lasted forty-five minutes at a stretch until the next commercial break. Inspired by this, until the end of 2023, I’ll be posting 3 classical tune sets (Bach, Vivaldi, and Brahms) starting with my personal favorite German musician of all-time, Johann Sebastian Bach.

Generally regarded as one of the greatest composers in the history of Western culture, this man was truly fit for the title ‘Master of Composition’. Starting off as a mega-talented organ player and violinist, Bach had a distinct flair for blending widely varying instruments and regional musical styles, regularly synthesizing multifarious sound techniques to make a noise ain’t nobody on Earth had heard before. Having been employed by local churches early on, Bach began composing his own ‘sacred music’ (see also ‘church music’) and being something of a musical jack-of-all-trades engaged in his own ‘non-secular’ works which did not jive with very simply defined and rigid church traditions. Having a penchant for engineering complex and experimental arrangements, Bach developed a special talent for weaving melodic lines and immensely complex interdependent harmonies together to provide compositional structures that were simply second to NONE in the early 1700’s and even up to this very day. His concertos for orchestras, sonatas, suites, cantatas, keyboard works, choral works and organ works really are the stuff of legend which is why they are hailed up to the current day! I could go on endlessly about his accolades, but instead I’ll just leave you with the following final thought. Some of Bach’s individual works are like observing an incredibly detailed drawing or painting, except with audio. If you concentrate enough on a single piece, you’ll very clearly hear the overlapping elements, the solid lines accompanied by the abstract rudiments floating softly in the background and be moved emotionally by the very physics of the harmonic motions. It’s not just the melodic nature of the man’s tunes, but also the harmony that accompanies them. Smash play and enjoy a variation of Cantata BWV 147: Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring and experience for yourself why people like Bach were truly the rock stars of their era. And if you want more, like way more, click just below for The Best of Bach and enjoy!

He also married his own cousin, had 20 children through separate wives, and died after eye surgery in 1750. I like to separate the art from the artist on my blog. Nobody’s perfect, it was different times back then with vastly inferior social and medical standards at play. I don’t judge too harshly. I mean, he was so talented that Duke Wilhelm had him imprisoned after Bach simply tried to leave the Duke’s royal court to find a better gig. He did something that the vast majority of modern musicians just can’t seem to be bothered to do… innovate (to simplify that word for modern musicians, it means creating brand NEW stuff that no one has heard of or tried before, you’re welcome…)! And for that reason, he has more than earned his placed in the annals of human history as one, if not the greatest composer, and my personal favorite classical composer of all time. Stolen Moments
Helloooo! Okay as promised here is the first chapter of my Levi x reader slow burn. You can also read it on Ao3 here
It’s a friends to lovers slow burn with a lot of hurt/comfort. Mentions of typical AoT style violence. It will eventually become smutty but right now you’re just a couple o’ cutie patooties escaping the horror together. Also, I tried to make Levi feel like Levi, but I’m not paying much attention to the canon plot.
enjoy!
Chapter One- The Writing on the Wall.
To say being a survey corps medic was tough was an understatement.
God… the things you’d seen. The titans’ mindless violence was enough to keep you awake every night. Even when there were no expeditions going on there were injuries. The ODM gear was dangerous and the recruits could be reckless. People said you’d eventually become desensitized to it, but after years of sewing up chewed off limbs and oozing bite wounds, you were still waiting for that numbness to come.
It never got easier.
So many lives lost; and to make it worse the scouts seemed to get younger while the years passed by. But they always had that same desperate fear in their eyes as they slipped into nothingness in your arms.
So, sometimes—when no one’s lives immediately depended on you and your squad was back on base—you slacked off in the quiet alleyway, tucked away in a little gap between dilapidated supply sheds, closing your eyes and letting the cool breeze lift the constant burden on your heart.
Your hiding place had gone undiscovered for months.
Of course, you didn’t stay there long; you still had duties to attend to and you didn’t want to push your luck, but the alleyway provided you with much needed respite.
But good things didn’t last forever in this world.
It had been an especially rough few days, and apparently the world had a cruel sense of humor. You were leaning against the back of the supply shed with your eyes trained on the sky, watching the clouds slide across overhead when the captain confronted you.
“What the hell are you doing back here?” the man’s voice cut through your peace like a blade.
You sighed and resigned yourself to a telling off. “Nothing.”
The man let out a disdainful “tch,” and folded his arms across his chest.
You knew exactly who he was. Captain Levi was definitely one of the more recognizable members of the survey corps; a lot of presence packed into his small body, and cold gray eyes which pierced through you. He’d been around for years; less time than you but had climbed the ranks quickly due to his skill.
“Well… looks to me like you’re slacking off,” he said flatly. “Get back to work, or you’ll be on kitchen duty for a week.”
“Sounds good, to be honest. I’d rather be on kitchen duty.”
You were being insubordinate, but you were past the point of caring. Let them punish you.
The Captain stepped closer still, his gray eyes colder and harder than steel. “Watch yourself. That’s some attitude you have there.”
You simply glared.
He glared harder. “Maybe some time in a cell will help get you back in line.”
“A cell would be preferable too. Besides, you’re not going to raise the alarm,” you say calmly, making his eyes widen. It was a gamble but… “If you tell people you found me slacking off back here then the higher ups will know about this place, and I have a sneaking suspicion you’re here to slack off too. And since you’re a captain, I guarantee the duties you’re shirking are way more important than mine.”
Levi doesn’t answer. His expression goes through several stages: surprise, indignation, reluctance, and finally acceptance. “Don’t say a word about this. To anyone.”
“My lips are sealed.” You chuckle flatly, a little relieved. “This alleyway is the only place on the entire base no one else seems to know about.”
“Yeah. I thought I was the only one who did.”
You shake your head. “I’ve been coming here for months.”
“I’ve got you beat. Years.”
“Are you pissed off that I’m here?”
“Kind of.”
“Me too.” You sigh and shuffle aside, making space for him to stand as you give him your name.
“Levi,” he replies. “You’re a soldier?”
“Medic.”
“Which squad are you assigned to?”
“None right now.” You close your eyes again, pressing the back of your head to the wall as you raise your face to the sky and release a labored breath. “My squad… didn’t make it back from mission this week. I couldn’t save any of them.”
“Shit,” he whispers. “I’m sorry.”
You shrug. “Clearly I’m a terrible medic.”
He gives a halfhearted chuckle but doesn’t crack a smile. “We lose people. It happens.”
“But it’s my job to ensure we don’t.”
“Mine too," he says, "How many people do you think Ive lost? Doesn’t make me a bad captain. Doesn’t make you a bad medic. It just makes it a cruel world.”
You pull in a long breath. He’s right. There isn’t a single person among the scouts who can say they haven’t watched a comrade die at the hands of the titans. “Thanks.”
“I guess that’s why we’ve got to slack off in alleyways every now and again, huh?” he says quietly.
“Right. No point fighting for humanity if you can’t be human once in a while.”
“Yeah. Right. So what are you going to do now? Transfer to another squad and get back out there, or stay here on base?”
“No idea. The thought of going back out there…”
He nods. “Yeah. I understand. It’s a lot.”
You turn your head to offer him a smile. He doesn’t reciprocate. “So… what duties are you avoiding?”
“Strategy meetings.” He mutters the words like they’re a curse.
“You aren’t scared Erwin will be pissed?”
He shrugs. “I can handle it. What are you avoiding?”
“Uh,” you chuckle and push the air out between your lips. “Life?”
You could swear you almost see the corner of his mouth twitch. “Fair.”
“I knew you’d understand.”
“Can’t avoid it forever though.”
“Yeah. To be honest, I need to get back to it,” You sigh and push up back from the wall to stand upright. “Enjoy the alleyway, Levi. It’s all yours.”
“Thanks.”
You begin to walk away. “Oh, and hey…don’t die.”
“You too,” he says softly. “And… don’t give this world the satisfaction of thinking it’s all your fault, okay? Keep doing what you do.”
Your eyes meet his before you leave, an unspoken understanding passing between you. It’s no longer just your hiding spot; it belongs to both of you.
A few days later you hear that Levi’s squad, along with a few others, are beyond the wall again. That means that soldiers will come back injured or barely clinging to life. The familiar cold dread fills your stomach.
You prep the infirmary, ensuring there are enough medical supplies to cover the inevitable, although, inevitably, it won’t be enough. It’s never enough.
And sure enough, when they return, they return in bloodied, wailing droves. Lost limbs, broken bones, minds obliterated by fear and horror. These damn titans. This damn mission.
You work and work, patching them up, holding their hands as they pass, or offering a sympathetic ear when they cry about having to adjust to life missing parts of their bodies. It’s too much.
At least out on the field you can offer immediate assistance. Back here on the base, the wounds are already rotting by the time they get to you. But going back out there… out into titan territory… the horror of it makes you want to throw up.
You need a break, so you head to the alleyway. It’s empty as usual—and why wouldn’t it be? Your solitude has only been disrupted once in months, but you’d be lying if you’d said some little piece of you didn’t crave the company of a captain who knew just how shitty this world— and this job— could be. Since the scouting party is back on base, he’s probably around somewhere.
Leaning against the supply shed, you close your eyes and remember his words: don’t give this world the satisfaction.
You sigh and kick the rocks around with your toe. As terrifying as it is, you know the truth: these scouts stand a better chance of survival if you’re out there with them on the field offering immediate support. Transferring to a squad shouldn’t take long. You could file the paperwork today
.
Picking up a stone from the ground you fidget with it for a while as you make up your mind fully. You aren’t going to give the world the satisfaction. You’re going to keep going.
Before you leave, you scratch a little message to him into the bricks of the building. It just reads “hi” and it’s childish as all hell, but it makes you smile, and right now, that’s just what you need.
Two days later you’re assigned to a squad and about to head back out to the battlefield. You visit the alleyway for a moment of calm before all hell breaks loose, and find there’s another message below yours, scratched neatly with letters so precise it almost looks like they were stenciled on: “hello.” And God, your smile then. One would almost think you hadn’t spent the night thrashing around from nightmares.
You arrange a handful of pebbles into a smiling face on the ground and head out.
Weeks pass. Weeks of working in titan territory, saving whoever you can, doing whatever it takes. Your squad returns to base to resupply, blood-splattered and heavy-hearted, and you find yourself gravitating to the alleyway as the soldiers limp to the mess hall.
When you get there, you find your smiley face has been rearranged into a frown. There’s no doubt in your mind that this is Captain Levi’s work. It makes you laugh despite everything.
You wonder how long ago he did it and if he’s still okay, and decide to leave him a message on the wall which reads, “Keep going.”
The next time you’re there there’s a message saying “Get back to work, dumbass.”
You reply, giggling the whole time you’re writing, “You too, asshole.”
Thereafter, every time you visit the alley, you leave something for him. Sometimes it’s just words; a quick message scratched into the stone, other times you make the faces out of gravel, or weave little stars out of blades of grass and leave them for the Captain to find.
And whenever you return, he’s left you something too. Sometimes he’ll give your smiley face hair or make them cross-eyed. Sometimes he’ll add comet trails to your stars. One time he leaves the message “still alive?” on the wall to which you reply, “Yup.” The next time, the word “good” has been added to the wall.
The brickwork becomes a transcript of your epistolary friendship. It quickly becomes an important part of your life, these little messages between you and the captain. You find yourself missing him when he’s on mission, and walking a little faster to your shared hideout when you know he’s been on base. It’s such a small thing, such a silly thing, but it’s everything right now; the only break in the clouds. Before you know it, Captain Levi Ackerman—a man you’ve only ever met once—is never far from your thoughts.
Almost ten months after you first began leaving the messages, you’re striding across the training grounds to take your break in the alley when something catches your eye. It’s a cornflower, growing between the cracks in the stone paving; bright blue against the dull gray ground.
Before you’ve even had time to think about it, you pick the flower. A little guilt swells in your chest—maybe you should have let it be for others to enjoy, but you know Levi’s squad got back from an expedition that morning, and he’s probably more in need of it than anyone.
You hurry to the alleyway, rounding the corner and squeezing between the buildings before you freeze.
Captain Levi glances up at you as he sits on the ground of the alley. His knees are against his chest, and his arms are wrapped around them. He looks… broken. “Fancy meeting you here.”
“Hi…” It feels weird, seeing him in person again after months of back and forth. He seems smaller than the last time you saw him, his cheeks a little hollower. “You okay?”
He stares at you for a moment and shakes his head. “I lost one.”
“Oh…” You sit down beside him, shoulder-to-shoulder. “I’m sorry.”
“I wasn’t fast enough. I saw the titan coming toward him and I should’ve made it. I don’t know what happened. He was chewed up before I could get there.”
You sigh, knowing there’s nothing you can say right now. You’ve been through this pain so many times and it never gets easier. So, you just sit with him.
“Thanks.” He says softly as he stares straight ahead. “For your little messages. I enjoy them.”
“Me too.” You laugh softly and offer him the cornflower. “I found this. I was gonna leave it for you but… you can just have it.”
He takes the flower between his fingertips and a faint smile crosses his lips. “Thanks. It’s pretty.”
“Yeah.”
“You know… I consider you a friend. I know we’ve only met once but…”
Your heart squeezes. “No, I feel the same way. Your little messages are sometimes the only good thing—”
“Yeah. Same.”
You turn your head to smile at him and find he’s beat you to it.
It touches your heart to hear he feels the same way. Your odd little friendship has grown into something vital to both of you. “It’s funny. When I first started, I thought you’d just think it was dumb.”
“It is dumb,” he chuckles and shakes his head. “I mean… look at this wall; we’re ridiculous. But it’s my favorite. This is my favorite dumb thing to do and you’re becoming my favorite dumbass.”
“Well,” you laugh, actually quite flattered. “You’re becoming my favorite asshole. We’re a match made in hell.”
He laughs at that. “Two peas in a shitty pod.”
You both chuckle at that until a comfortable silence fills the air between you. It feels so natural, being at his side, as though you’ve been friends for years. There’s something so calming about being here with him.
“Show me how you make the stars out of grass,” he asks eventually. “I’ve tried to make them but they don’t look right.”
You pluck enough blades of grass for the two of you and sit there, showing him how to weave them into stars. His sharp gray eyes remain trained on your fingers as you work, apparently fascinated by your method of making them. When you’re finished showing him, he has a decent star, which he scowls at and unravels before beginning work on it again. Apparently, it has to be perfect.
“I worry about you when you’re on missions,” you say finally as you watch him.
“I worry about you too. The weeks when you don’t leave anything here, I start to imagine the worst. I’ve lost a lot of people I care about. I don’t want to add your name to that list.” He finishes the star and looks at it proudly before adding it to your little constellation of them on the ground. “There. Thank you for showing me.”
You can’t help but smile. It feels so nice to have a friend, tucked away in this quiet place which feels so far removed from violence and war.
“Hey… Levi…?”
He raises his head, “Yeah?”
“What if I joined your squad?”
His eyebrows raise in surprise. “Why would you do that?”
“Because… then I’d know you were alright. I wouldn’t have to worry anymore.”
“You’d still worry. I know I would. My squad gets sent on a lot of dangerous missions.”
“Well, all the more reason for you to have a squad medic.”
He thinks about it silently for a moment before he gives a single sharp nod. “Yeah. Yeah, I think that would work.” He holds out a hand and shakes yours. “Welcome to the squad then.”

Heyyo! Hope this ask reaches you well nwn. I have a couple hundred questions about ur art style and storytelling methods if you don’t mind :3
Most important one: How do you draw Mewtwo fingers so well 😭😭😭😭
Also, what program(s) do you use? Canvas size for different projects? What brush settings? And how do you sketch, line and colour? Which step is your favourite? How long do you normally take from piece to piece?
How do you come up with your different AUs? Any particular inspirations? What tips would you give someone just starting out a comic on tumblr?
And uhh any general tips on getting around tumblr? Blogs you really like?
Sorry for all these questions, really big fan if you can’t tell :’D I actually really love the pride art piece you did~
So i tried answering this before and it doesnt post so uhhhhh heres to hoping it works?
1. I base Mewtwo's paws as hands, worked without the rounded digits first then moved to rounded digits so... Take that as you will?
2. I use Clip Studio Art and Procreate! Mostly, anyways XD i also sometimes default back to Paint tool Sai, or Fire Alpaca if i want a different brand lol.
3. I vary in size for different projects. My animations are different than my sketches, my sketches are different from my completed art and my completed art is different for my comics! It also helps my brain not get tired XD
4. I tend to favor my lineart and rendering! Though both of them take equally long times, i render less But i love it more.
5. Depends on the project. I can typically churn out colored pieces in like an hour or so! Sketches are faster.
6. A lot of them are inspirations of something else. Shiny AU was just cause i liked Shiny Pokemon. But Dead AU was based off Danny Phantom and Mimikyu au was a "What if" scenario of the dead au!
7. Oop, Danny Phantom for the Dead AU. Legendary Mew was based off the whole Chosen one BS XD False Twins was slightly based off of TC but was actually based off another AU where Ash and Mewtwo were sorta close friends.
8. Tagging is your best friend~ don't be afraid to interact with other blogs. If someone is being mean, just block em and move on!
9. Getting around Tumblr? I'd say reblog, follow peeps, go to your favorite fandoms/tags! You'll get mutuals in no time!
10. Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh a lot of peeps but i dont wanna bother then with tags XD so nontagged peeps!
Phlurri
XxTC-96xX
MewtwoAndMe
Bluesues
DistortionMewtwo
Mewtales/Mewdump
Penumbra
Loupy Mongoose
Ask-Mirage-Twos
TazerPones/MegaMew and Crew
The Mew Crew
And a few more but i cant remember tumblr names djdbdb
And thank you! I have one more peice i want to finish before i forget- its a peice i didnt get to do last year XD

CARMEN SANDIEGO WACA HCS
A lot of people don't know this about me as well, that I really like warrior cats! I've designed a few designs for everyone to gaze at because my favorite thing is designing. First up, WOEICS
Tumblr media
WOEICS is very heavily headcanonned, as every design will be. This carmen as you can see is shown very elegantly and graceful with an intimidating looking design with the dark colors, mean stare and her big build. WOEICS carmen was inspired by a headcanon i saw by @carmbby , who had once commented in a thread we had made on her out of coat design. They had made this ADORABLE headcanon saying carmen would make herself look bigger to scare away predators, followed with a tiger emoji. Carmen is actually very scrawny under all her fur, but tries her best to keep her fur puffed out to look big and scary like a tiger, while also resembling one. Carmen is most likely a rogue in this one or maybe a made up clan thats like "VILECLAN" or something since i dont think carmen is that edgy or creative.
WORD/MATH DETECTIVE
Tumblr media
This design was just a kinda whatever goes goes. I really like the idea of the lines being stripes, kinda like how you see in garfield, it kinda represents the detective design's linear style, as you can see in the ear, which i might make a reoccuring thing. The detective design I was kinda clueless on. I did like the idea i was going for, a smug looking attitude while remaining a silly look and design, differing from WOEICS. I like to think shes more bubbly and friendly than WOEICS because she has less trauma and is just there to spite you. I like to think she's a rogue that likes to seek havoc on putting clans on edge. I made her chubbier in a sense that maybe she steals a little too much prey. TREASURES OF KNOWLEDGE CARMEN SANDIEGO
Tumblr media
Holy moly as im writing this im getting so tired, BUT I LOVE DESIGNING THESE GUYS. Yet again, Treasures of knowledge has been kinda winged with some simpe ideas to base it off of. First thought was the yellow that splotches everywhere. I like to think TOK carmen is very confident and out there, and that this yellow represents her in the spot light, since its a very light color. I made her a ginger tabby because i think shes a little stupid but i still love her. The white splotches was just a neat addition, i think the splotches make her unique to everyone else, like how she's so vibrantly red that shes often called "lady in red" TOK would be a rogue disguised as a clan member. She's got allegiances in every clan under different warrior names, she comes and goes as she pleases and and easily one of the most popular at gatherings, if she ever shows up. I like to think TOK likes to cause mischief within her clans, bouncing around between clans to leave a few scents here and there, a few muddy paw prints in windclan territory where there is no water, or a shadowclan prey within thunderclan. NETFLIX CARMEN. (final one!)
Tumblr media
I had a lot of thoughts when creating this one. I'm not a big fan of the reboot. I just never could put myself into liking it. Despite that, I'd like to say she's still being added to this list. She's an important piece of media to the carmen franchise, and i think it'd be unfair if I didn't. My design wasn't lazy when i came up with the idea to make Netflix and WOEICS the same. I had the idea that the netflix is still an apprentice to this very much older and wiser carmen of WOEICS. Netflix still learning and growing. I also think the WOEICS would be her mother in a sense, not only because of the design, but the way NETFLIX pushes itself off of WOEICS as a basis for her lore and characterization. I like to think Netflix is a lot more kinder and energetic than the most of them, the youngest of the bunch too. She's an apprentice to probably one of the clans, or many. I like to think all the older carmens are her mentors, and teach her all about the different values of life they have. I like to think she takes off of WOEICS a lot and finds herself to look all big and scary just like her mother, not understanding this is her defense mechanism.
Tumblr media

Hello!! Hope you are having a great day, for the Hobbit ASK questions 2, 4, 6, 11 and 14
- Jack
Thank you for the ask Jack!! Here we go. You can find the post this is base from here.
2. What tattoos (or just some of them) would Oin, Nori, Dwalin and Bofur have?
Oin would have a very dwarven styled heart on the back of both his hands. Not a love heart, more like a medical diagram. It would be a universal symbol between all dwarves to show that he is a healer and something that all healers receive when they become a master of their craft of healing. He also has the diagram of his favourite healing herbs on his left hip and a raven on his right shoulder.
Nori would have a tramp stamp that was definitely done in prison after he and a few mates got drunk and caught stealing something. It’s a crow with a shining jewel in both of its claws and its beak. Its rough and a little wonky and often seen as a drunken mistake by others, but Nori secretly loves it. He loves even more to show it off to Dori when he’s around the house because it annoys his brother to no end. Crop top shirts are a must around the house because it shows it off.
Dwalin is just covered in tattoos and most are from his great feats in battle. He has a few more casual ones like a ram on his hip, his mother’s axe and his father’s sword in a X shape, but he also has large sections of bulk writing (in Khuzdul of course) and it consists of lines from his favorite poems and stories. Things that made him feel deeply when he read them or lines that inspire him to keep pushing on through the hardships of life. They’re written quite small and you would have to practically sit in his lap to read them, but Dwalin knows every line by heart.
Bofur would have a range of intricate patterns like vines running down each side of his neck and down his shoulders. At first glance it just looks like a bunch of lines but if you look closer you can find the intricate and hidden symbols and patters hidden amongst the chaos. Bofur spent years perfecting each and every line of his tattoos and it means everything to him. It’s a display of the way music makes him feel. Its what he sees in the wood he carves before its takes shape. Its how he hears the stone of his mountains as he listens to the walls of the mines. Its something no one else would understand but he’s alright with that.
4. Bilbo finds a flower in the quest and gifts it to someone. Who does he gift it to and which flower is it.
Thorin. Bilbo knows they don’t see eye to eye and he tries to ease the tension by gifting Amaryllis (Pride) wrapped and choked with Chamomile (Patience in adversity). It was meant to symbolise that Bilbo would swallow his pride to try and easy their relationship by showing patients and good will. Thorin being a dwarf and having no understanding of flowers became so confused and flustered that it confused and flustered Bilbo and the hobbit ended up smacking him in the face with the bundle and running away.
6. Weirdest encounter Dori has had with a stranger
It was less weird and more unsettling for Dori when he met a strange dwarf at the markets one day. The stranger looked and acted so familiar yet so strange as they tried to convince him to leave the marketplace for the next hour or so he ended up doing just that and going straight back home. For weeks he told his kin about the strange dwarf he met at the markets completely unaware that it had been Nori so deeply undercover that Dori simply didn’t recognise him. Nori had been roped into a dirty scheme and knew there was going to be a hold up at the markets that day and he panicked when he spotted Dori heading straight into the middle off it, so still in disguise he raced over to persuade him to leave. Dori notes this as the strangest encounter he has ever had and Nori didn’t have the heart to tell him the truth.
11. If you were to join the Company, who do you think you would get along better with?
Probably Bifur. I think we could spend hours in silence just vibeing together as he carved wood and I read a book or something. He just seems very welcoming and comforting. I think I would also have a randomly good connection with Nori? He would quickly become a big brother figure to me and teach me how to nick stuff much to Dori’s dismay. Fili, Kili and I would definitely bond with being the youngest of the lot, but more so Fili being the calmer and quieter of the two. We would also hyper fixate over weapons and spend hours taking and discussing knifes and forging. I would also be so ridiculously in love with him that I would melt at anything he did.
14. You are trapped in a Mirkwood cell after the Company has been taken, how would you annoy the guards? (Or maybe flirt with them?)
I would be so traumatised by the spiders I wouldn’t even have time to tbh. I could flirt with Tauriel but that would mostly annoy Kili and the other dwarves. Maybe I ask the guard to many questions or teach the dwarves to sing one of those obnoxious songs that get stuck in your head for days? Idk, in all honestly, I would probably cry a lot and stay wrapped in a ball still stuck on the spiders. Maybe I would annoy them by how many times they would have to come into my cage and kick me to see if I’m still breathing.

Here's my Digital Circus OC's
D:
(He/him/she/her/they/them) based on a sock monkey and classic style rubber hose cartoon. Originally a male D put on a strange Vr headset and woke up in the digital circus, now a girl sock monkey she tries to handle her new form, this strange world, a mysterious squeaker inside their body that always moves around for perfect comedic effect, and a tail they trip on constantly.
Anxious and awkward D prefers to stay in their room rather than go on any crazy adventure Caine can think of, though they will immediately help if any of the others are in danger or they need a hand, even if they mostly end up becoming a damsel in distress due to their plush form.
Tumblr media
____________
Chevalier:
(He/him/she/her) based on a chess knight piece obviously. Chevalier was male before ending up in the digital circus, now a girl and a semi inanimate object she hops or slides around to move, floating hands which seem to have no limit to how far they can go from her body, and easily irritated.
Their chess piece form is more feminine than they like, though it hasn't stopped them from taking $#@% from no one, just as head strong and grumpy in their old life, if not more so now. She has very little patience for Caines games and even less so from Jax, but she's willing to put herself in the line of fire if there's a threat to the others…save for Jax…
Tumblr media
____________
Cyan:
(She/her) Based on a clown and those bendy wire stretching toys, as well as mommy long legs.Just a regular nerdy girl to a stretchy clown girl in a digital world, easily panicked and stressed, she struggled with her limbs which if not focused on will sometimes stretch subconsciously leaving her limbs noodly, a fear of heights that will make her faint, not aided by her legs also capable of stretching to make her taller, and a compulsion to make bad jokes which she's grown to use as a coping mechanism.
She's anxious and nervous all the time though hides it behind a smile either due to her body or just natural coping mechanism, she prefers to be by others finding being alone in the circus…scary, though she finds Caine especially scary and loud forcing her to hide behind others, she's willing to help though she will definitely panic while doing so, she's also found her limbs can stretch up to twenty feet before it becomes straining on her at which point her limbs spring back to her body and will be noodly for a minute or so.

____________
Hello, first time posting here, but felt like showing my OC's for the amazing digital circus, my curiosity was caught when I saw the reser while back and I fell immediately in love when I saw the pilot, super excited to see more from the world, and it lead me to making these three.
Pretty happy with them, and hope others like em too!

This is a very broad question, but you've gone from working on crunchy RPGs (Deadfire) to working on immersive sims at Arkane (Deathloop), so I wonder if you can talk a little bit about the similarities and differences in the approach to writing you have to adopt for the genres?
Sure!
There are a few shifts, and not all of them came with genre. One of the biggest actually came during Deadfire’s development, when we determined that we were going to fully voice the game. In games like Tyranny and the original Pillars, a lot of the dialogue was relatively baroque, often broken up with descriptive text, and usually quite long per node.
This does not work well when everything’s voiced. It’s hard for actors to get their mouths around, and the attention and stamina necessary to go through long lines (and control performance across them) can be difficult to maintain. Meanwhile, as soon as you get into descriptive prose, you’re breaking up what the player’s hearing, separating it from what they’re reading, muddling both. Which is (in part) why you might note that a lot of the Deadfire DLC dialogue tends to be shorter per node than in the base game and use a lot less description.
For me, a major aspect of the shift from Deadfire to "DEATHLOOP” was about tone and style, since the latter aims to be much more modern and widely comic than the Pillars games. It took me a few months to shift gears, to learn to write in the language of “DEATHLOOP”. It was probably the minicom conversations that finally made things click for me, giving me a sense of how far I could push content.
Meanwhile, part of the player fantasy in Deadfire, is creating and embodying your own character, so the goal for the player options is to provide an array of possible responses that allow the player to express their character (AKA roleplay) without shattering the fiction. Colt, on the other hand, is a tightly defined character. There’s a little reactivity in how he responds based on player action, but it’s pretty limited.
There are some significant structural/mechanical differences, however. For instance, we have a lot of crosstalk in “DEATHLOOP”, where characters are speaking at the same time, interrupting and overlapping one another, which is generally not even possible in dialog in the Obsidian RPGs. This requires thinking of scenes a bit more like a screenwriter than an IF writer. Except...
...you have to write most scenes in most immersive sims with the assumption that they can be interrupted at any time. Ideally, the characters then fire a bark appropriate to the interruption (hearing a noise, spotting Colt, or the like). So we spent a lot of time thinking in terms of our systems and how we might create barks that interplay with them in ways that made the world feel more alive. The response of an enemy to seeing the shimmer of an invisible player is different from that of one hearing something explode in the distance.
There’s a little of this in Deadfire, but it’s pretty limited.
In text, we tried to keep the notes in “DEATHLOOP” short(...ish) and provided even shorter summaries that called out the most important info in each document, both because the game doesn’t pause (it’s multiplayer), and because it’s an action game first and foremost. There’s also an... intimacy?... to the perspective of the notes in “DEATHLOOP”. Every note in that game has a reason it exists, a concrete bit of narrative (sometimes shallow or silly, but always present). Fantasy RPGs are a bit more flexible with this; there’s a player assumption that the world is full of books to read that exist primarily to be read by the player. That’s something we wanted to avoid in “DEATHLOOP” (even if it existed to an extent in the Dishonored games).
I’m not going to dig too deeply into the Floaty Words (tm) here, except to say that there’s a little overlap between them and points of interest in Pillars (when you click on a part of the scenery and get a short text description), in that they both exist, at least in part, to deepen and call attention to aspects of the visible game world. Our word count limits on Floaty Words were much tighter than Points of Interest, and the tone much more specific and abstract.
Finally, there’s a fair amount of story that can be told through exploration and the environment in first person that would require text in isometric. We don’t, for instance, have to spend words describing Egor’s bedside bookshelf full of clocks because the player can stick their nose right up against it. We don’t have to describe in text what a pair of Wenjies are doing, because the player is able to watch those characters move around and interact with the environment. That stuff still has to be thought about and implemented, and as a tool it can be both empowering (and immersive) and limiting (every animation costs money). Hope that was informative!
And yes, I’m contractually obligated to style the title “DEATHLOOP” every single time.
(But not really.) <3 <3 <#

yayayay yippee (≧◡≦) i love how vibrant & lively your art is, i think my fav pieces are Horse Surgery & hanyuu (even tho i have no idea who that is) but that one wip with the rainbow is also v ery special 2me because it reminds me of my fav kind of weather ^_^ generic Which Program Do You Use question & also which programs have you tried so far? which one would you recommend for someone whose only experience so far wiht digital art has been scribbling in ms paint -_-? on topic, what do you draw with (mouse, phone, drawing tablet, ??) & was it easy for you to get used to digital art? i always get overwhelmed by the amound of different functions available so im not sure where to even start, any advice? which physical art forms do you like / would you like to learn (anything at all, i personally have been getting into air dry clay... well actually ive been using my sisters playdoh but maybe ill purchase smthn fancier :3) & final question how do you come up with poses to draw? your characters (+creatures) seem very animated and i really like that :)
HI okay i guess ill answer these in a list. actually will put it under the cut since i ended up saying a lot (and dw i enjoy being able to talk a lot so thank you!)
-THANK YOU im glad some of my more recent works (in my more current style) are appealing 2 people! like i wanna draw my own way even though i think it gets less notes... the higurashi fanarts (hanyuu and shion) r very memorable pieces to me because its when i started doing the loose sketches with the thin lines and block colors and thats the direction i reallyreally wanted to take my style in. also the rainbow is rian my friend rian
-i draw in paint tool sai! the only program i used before that was sketchbook pro, which i didnt like because the brushes were kind of... blurry/smudgy? sai allows you to zoom in and draw pixel by pixel which is something i like, and i like the way it does its blending. its also just easier for me to understand. i didnt pay for it i think i found some deviantart page that had the link, id have to find it again
-i draw with a wacom intuos tablet! its lasted me... almost 10 years now. ive heard newer ones are poorer quality in terms of at least the nibs needing to be replaced constantly, so idk what the most recommended tablet these days is. ive drawn with my mouse and tbh it caused awful hand pain so i would not recommend this. i draw on my phone with my finger sometimes but i find doing it on my laptop easier, however it is doable once you get used to it
-the way i got into digital art... well. i still have an archive of my earliest art if you wanna see! i was 14 n just drew random shit, often lining over doodles i did on paper and coloring them in. i think esp if youre overwhelmed start with making like throwaway experimental pieces, scribble around, doodle stupid things and color them in with different brushes and see what you enjoy. and then you can just keep the files to yourself if they dont look too good or maybe itll look interesting, it depends i guess haha. the other thing that ive always found helped me was telling myself id draw every day even if it was a little scribble or the tiniest amount of work on a wip bc getting a habit going helped my art a Lot beause it helped me spend more time thinking n focusing on it
more specific advice for sai that i found useful- using clipping groups & the preserve opacity functions are both lifesavers in terms of not spending so much time trying to color in the lines. if you color in a base layer you can just put everything above it as a clipping group and just not worry about it anymore. i also really like using the filters (like multiply) to mess around with the colors a drawing has, though sometimes its more effective to just select a layer/individual color and fuck with the hue/saturation/etc until it looks good. when i color, esp when its not turning out how i wanted to, i rely on shifting colors A LOT. n also mixing colors together using a blending brush and then colorpicking the intermediate color. very useful
-for the most part i stick to uncolored pencil doodles on like, notebook paper (even though i have some fancy supplies X[ one day) but i LOVE making things with clay, wish it was more accessible to do at home. i have a handful of clay animal statues and stuff that i made in my ceramics class in high school. would looove to do more
-because my poses tend to be very pushed/cartoony using references of real people isnt always useful (though obv knowing the basics of anatomy always helps) so in those cases ill use other cartoony art i like as inspiration, i try to see what i like about their poses nd emulate that with my own. sometimes when im struggling ill just do a bunch of studies where i copy art i like to try to get a feel for what im missing. mostly ive realized i like when the pose conveys some level of like, volume and taking up a 3D space (which im still definitely not a master of but bullshitting it can be fun). and i also like to have a balance of curved and angular shapes. sometimes i try to just do a pose that conveys a specific emotion or i just make shit up lol
alsooooo i cant reccomend aimless doodling enough! just random shapes, turning the random shapes into creatures, trying and trying and trying different ways to draw something until you like it, i feel like the things my hand makes when i shut my brain off and just scribble can inspire me as well, and i try to emulate whatever i made by chance while doodling. and if your doodles turn out better in traditional i tend to consider using a photo of a drawing as a way to skip the "preliminary sketch" phase nd drawing a rough sketch over that which i then use for my drawing (or just directly color since i draw very fast/lazy...)

Okay, so i think a lot of people noticed somehow worse quality of animation in the latest episode of Helluva Boss (s2ep2). So i decided to redraw some frames that bothered me. I think i did some better, some worse, some are more in my style than i would like but in general, i think i managed to correct some stuff.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
At this point i got kinda tired of editing those frames like this ( probably cause i was doing this in the app that wasnt really created for this) and i decided to do simple redraws.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This one was kinda weird, cause i had bigger problem with anatomy than her face, I dont think i did great job but i hope its a little more balanced now. I felt like the original shot had Loonas body streched in proportion. On the other hand in my sketch the head may be a bit too small. Oh well
Tumblr media Tumblr media
At this point i stopped doing mostly clean lines.
Tumblr media
This is a suprising shot, cause it was a very important moment in the episode, so its a little disappointing to see drawings with not the best quality.
Tumblr media
And here we go with Blitz. Honestly the oryginal shot is fine, its more cartoonish in expression and i think its okay. I did this one mostly as an experiment. In the end i think both versions are okay, just different. The oryginal definitely feels more emotive.
Tumblr media
And this one is... idk, at first i tried just editing this but it didnt feel right so i said fuck it and just redrew this, much quicker even if less pretty.
And that would be all shots i decided to redraw. Not all that could be corrected, cause u know, its one frame, and all sequences are based on drawing with screwed proportions.
But to be fair i want to say some stuff. Loona is generally hard to draw and this episode isnt the only one that have some weird shots with her. Vivzies style is very expressive, and in my opinion not particulary regular. By this i mean that anatomy isnt very important, many characters are very slim, imps for example have pretty big heads (especially Blitz) [wait is this also a pun?!], while Asmodeus for a change has pretty small one (though it seems bigger with his other faces). The size of characters also can be inconsistent, its especially noticable when there is a big difference in size between them (eghem* Stolitz, EGHEM* Fizz and Asmodeus). Blitz is also hard to draw because he has a really particular shape of head and horns. Its hard to place his eyes, especially since imps are based on reptiles and their features are also reptile like (no nose to help). With Loona on the other hand its hard to draw her in 3/4 perspective cause of the shape of her eyes and especially her muzzle. I think animators try not to cover them with her nose or mouth and i believe it doesnt works well. Most of the characters have also a lot of details which makes it harder to animate them. Blitzos headmark, his scars, even his clothes! It takes a lot of time to draw it all. And its like that with most characters. So i am not doing this post to shame those animations, but rather to show that its not easy to do and despite it being not so great it still took a lot of work. For me personally those shots werent even the biggest issue, i was more annoyed with camera jumping around.
Last thing. I liked one shot with Loona A LOT and i am really sad i cannot post anymore pictures in this post, so here is its time in the ep: 17:18 - 17:24. Whoever animated this did a truly great job, and i send a lot appreciation to this person.
