Noah's music career has hit a roadblock, and it's been months of him trying to break free from it. Instead, the suffocating grasp of his disappointment only increases, choking him.
Desperate, one night he decides to seek refuge from the cacophony of this thoughts at a far-off beach, hoping that maybe, the soothing rhythm of the waves will calm his anxious heart and reignite his inspiration.
Yet, as he sits on a rock and his gaze wanders the horizon, a glimmer of light in the sea catches his attention under the moonlight. When a figure emerges from the water at the shore, long hair cascading over a naked torso and silky skin, at first Noah think it's a girl. He soon realizes it's not.

I’ll go first.
I’ll be talking to someone new and they’ll be like, “So what are you into?”
Within a split second I think: I’m obsessed with The X-Files, but when I say obsessed I don’t just mean casually. I’m talking all consuming thoughts, day and night, of Mulder and Scully; more specifically Scully and her beauty and how it makes me weep while I’m driving home from work. How I get up at 2 am to write MSR fanfic away from the prying eyes of my unsuspecting family. The way I devour any mention of GA and DD and how I watch the same episodes and gif sets and clips endlessly and with abandon.

Characters who are openly and unapologetically in love with MC, who flirt and 'accidentally' –oh so conveniently– find themself bumping into them wherever they go; they don't bother to hide the lovestruck look in their eyes, nor the piercing glare when someone else asks to dance with you, a pressed smile sitting on ther lips – your hand is always held a little tighter in theirs, sweet words of affection floating around you every time you're around them.
Bonus points if MC is in denial of their feelings, has not figured them out yet, or just generally believes returning their affection would be simply disastrous so they don't indulge the thought any further.
