Me and Nancy had to sit through the little nuggets speech so now st*ve should have to sit through Nancy's speech of why he left her during her darkest time. Why he ignored her trauma. Why he thinks it's okay to tell her this when she's with Jonathan.

Robin should be there. And Nancy should look at Robin, the most painful tears and disgust in her eyes "do you even know why we broke up. Did he tell you?"

Enough time has not gone by for the writers to act like this girl isn't still crying regularly over losing her best friend. (And yall know she still blames herself😭)

Nancy felt her skin crawl as Steve told her his dream of her having his six kids, how they would end up exactly like her parents in a loveless relationship in that cul-de-sac on the corner. She wanted to run, hide somewhere so far away that she could forget about Steve and his nightmare of a dream, she wants to forget that this conversation ever existed in the first place that Steve still dreamed about her.

But there was Robin, Robin who somehow always knew how to save her from awkward situations where she wasn't in control. And she pushed away the whole conversation with Steve, pushed it far back into her mind and locked it in a box hoping that the key is lost somewhere in the ocean of her mind never to be found again. There were more important things to think about like killing Henry Creel once and for all.

——4 days after the fight——

Somehow in the middle of the world ending the party still wanted a movie night hosted generously by the Wheelers basement, and as the only one with a car Nancy had to get the movie, but for the past eight minutes she's been sitting here in the Family Video parking lot hyping herself up so she could walk in and face Steve. She hasn't seen much of him since the final battle and whenever she did she made sure to keep their interactions short but now going into where Steve works was like walking into a lion's den. Seven more minutes passed before she left her car and made her way to the front entrance, the glass doors revealing Steve and Robin inside lounging around the counter as a movie played on the tv behind them.

The bell above the door rang as Nancy slipped in hastily making her way to the sci-fi section without muttering out a hello. In and out that's all she needed to remind herself, go in, pick a movie, pay to Robin and leave, and all without interacting with Steve. But nothing went to plan as heavy steps came up too loud and close to her making her panic as she hazardously skimmed through grabbing a random movie and moving around the one half on the store to the cash register. Nancy watched as Robin gave a confused glance to her side thinking Steve would be with her.

"Hey Nance...you getting a movie for the kids tonight? Because I never took you for someone who would watch 'Back To The Future'" Robin's rambling was a welcomed sound to Nancy's all too tense body. She let her shoulders drop from her ears and unclenched her jaw letting her body relax before speaking.

"Yeah, who would've thought that even as the world is ending the kids really are just kids." Nancy suddenly remembers that even though her brother and his friends are in high school they lost four years of their childhood to this, El never had a childhood to begin with. Nancy looked at Robin and suddenly she saw the worry lines, the deep purple circles under her eyes that were a stark contrast to the sickly pale skin on Robin's face, the jagged pink lines and dark purple and yellow bruises from where vines tried to kill the girl. They all were too young to have known and dealt with this. And as Robin opened her mouth a worried look passed her eyes as she looked at Nancy. The same heavy steps from before were coming up to her and Nancy's body went ridge.

"Nance," A shiver of disgust racked her body as she turned around unwillingly to see Steve too close to her with a soft smile and even softer eyes, "I hope you're not avoiding me, because that would make everything really weird." Steve didn't seem to notice or he was just ignorant to how Nancy was reacting to him being around her. A retort of "It's already been weird when you told me you dreamed about me carrying your six children and traveling in a Winnebago." but all she could manage was an awkward chuckle.

"Hey Nance, you're all checked out so you can go, the movie is on the house." Nancy could kiss Robin for her impeccable timing as she once again saved Nancy from getting second hand embarrassment from Steve.

"Thanks Robbie." Nancy watched as a light dusting of pink found its way onto Robin's cheeks from the nickname, but as her hand reached for the bag it was suddenly taken out of Robin's hand and into Steve's.

"Robin, hold down the fort I'm going to walk Nancy to her car." Steve looked so happy with himself as the white bag with the Family Video logo on the side, that Nancy wanted to smack out of his hand so much.

"No Steve, it's okay, I can walk to my car by myself." Nancy had to physically bite her tongue from saying anything more, a metallic taste filled her mouth from the force of the bite.

"No, no, Nance, what kind of gentleman would I be if I didn't walk you to your car." Nancy couldn't stop the eye roll that would probably give her a headache later, could Steve really not take the hint. Nancy lunged for the bag but Steve moved it above his head making Nancy run into his chest making it easier for him to slip his arm around her waist to 'steady' her. In an instant Nancy was thrashing against Steve, not fighting for too long as Steve let go with a hurt expression settling on his face.

"Seriously Steve, give Nancy the bag." Robin's sudden intervention let Nancy take a breath as Steve took his gaze off her and onto Robin who moved to the two of them.

"Come on Robin Nancy doesn't mind, it's just how she flirts with me all hit and cold." If Nancy could get whiplash from that sentence she would have suffered severely. Steve spoke so confidently that Nancy was flirting with him that bile rose up Nancy's throat before she swallowed, feeling the burning after taste.

"Steve I am not flirting with you nor have I ever since we broke up." Nancy felt suffocated under Steve's look of confusion and hurt all on his face.

"But I thought you shared my dream?" And god Nancy was about to really punch Steve Harrington.

"Steve I never said I shared your dream, in fact I actually hate your dream Steve it's my own personal nightmare. Everything about it makes me feel like I'm always going to be stuck here, forced to be what everyone expects me to be just how you expected me to be okay after barely a month after Barb's death." Nancy couldn't stop herself as words tumbled out of her mouth, a fire burned brightly behind her eyes, and Steve had the audacity to look wounded.

"Come on Nance I've changed, you've changed. You got over Barb's death, I'm not a douche bag and you can't deny that you weren't obviously flirting with me over spring break." Steve's words burned Nancy like hell fire.

"No Steve, I never did get over my best friend's death. But how would you know that when all you wanted to do was forget about everything as if Will wasn't traumatized, as if I didn't lose someone close to me...you were so eager to just forget-" Nancy's throat closed up on her as tears stung at her eyes and fell down her cheeks leaving wet trails. Her gaze lands on Robin who looks shocked standing there letting her eyes flicker from the two of them. "Do you even know why we broke up? Did he tell you how when Barb went missing all he cared about was to not let his dad find out he was drinking. He couldn't even act as if he cared even a little bit, and when Jonathan stayed over after I saw the demogorgon he decided that instead of talking to me I deserved to be shamed publicly as a slut. I broke down crying in the Holland's bathroom and when I left you didn't even fucking ask me anything, even a stupid fucking 'are you okay?' nothing, you never cared about how I felt, you never did because it was all about you. I suffered, I had to live with the fact that my best friend is dead and I was the reason she died because I tried so hard to be your perfect girlfriend. I tried killing myself Steve, I tried to reach out to you but all you wanted was to pretend like nothing happened and I was so fucking stupid to have tried to pretend like you that I wasn't sleeping because of nightmares, that the scars lining my thighs aren't self made, that I didn't put my gun to my head because I deserved her same faith. We were toxic Steve, we were never good for each other. And after years and you claiming you've changed it's not true. Because your fucked up dream is all about you, I don't want to make six kids and live with an atomic family and you would have known that if you but some effort and listened or talked to me but you never did. And for Christ's sake Steve I'm with Jonathan, I'm dating someone and you think I would have flirted with you. Maybe if you looked past your fucking hair you would see how uncomfortable I've been, how anything you took as flirting was just me being concerned because if you haven't fucking noticed THE WORLD IS FUCKING ENDING." Nancy was hysterical by the time she finished, tears fell faster from her eyes as a lump in her throat kept her from speaking anymore. Steve's face was unreadable as she stared at the ground unable to make eye contact with Nancy but Robin, she was looking at Nancy like she was fragile glass. The hurt and concern in Robin's eyes made Nancy feel exposed so she did the one thing she does best, Nancy ran. Out the story and into her car starting it and diving away with blurry vision.

Nancy came back red eyed and without a movie for the kids, really teens, downstairs. Mike didn't even have the heart to banter with his sister when he saw the state she was in. She was now laying in her bed in sweats and an oversized hoodie Robin gave her after being vecna'd with a plush highland cow pressed tightly to her chest. Nancy hated the fact that she had an outburst in Family Video and now she had a headache from crying which made her just want to sleep till her body had no more fight left in it. A knock at her door made her sit up causing her headache to worsen from her quick movement.

"It's open." Her voice came out hoarse as she waited under the covers for whoever to come in. Nancy wasn't expecting Robin of all people to have come in with a bag in her hand. She instantly moved over to Nancy placing the back on the bed before plopping herself next to it.

"Okay so I'm not sure if you want to talk about what happened and if you don't that's completely fine with me but if you do I'll listen. I stopped by a 7/11 on my way here so I have gatorade, skittles, heresy's, some sour candy and mozzarella sticks. I'm not sure which one would give you more comfort so I just grabbed everything. Drink some of the gatorade first because crying dehydrates you and you would probably lose nutrients from that, then the mozzarella sticks because I'm worried you haven't eaten anything yet today and then we can cuddle if you want and eat comfort food. And I want to apologize, I never knew the whole story between you and Steve and I should have talked to you before saying stupid remarks like old flames being snuffed out, but I will try my hardest to make sure I'm there for you. I will always have time for you Nance." Robin's speech made Nancy start sobbing again, never has she gotten this much love and understanding from anyone. Robin was holding her in a matter of seconds letting Nancy burrow her head into Robin's chest as the plush got trapped between the two of them.

"Thank you, so much Robin." Nancy's voice was barely heard but Robin could tell what Nancy muttered against her.

"Always, belle, always." Robin spoke back into Nancy's hair as her fingers gently combed through the curls.

I had to hype myself up with my own experience of having and dealing with suicidal ideation so I could get Nancy's outburst down and Robin is the best person to help like she went to a 7/11 just to get stuff for Nancy

The reaction was really interesting. I agreed with a lot of Bright’s point and it was nice to see a different perspective. I really wish they had showed it in the show. You can tell Bright is really attached to Sarawat and it hurts his heart to see the pain. It also showed me that the finale could have been loads better with a few cute scenes and a proper discussion. This is what Bright was talking about. At the end of the day it was the lack of communication.

Ahh I loved that reaction video and I loved seeing Bright talking about Sarawat’s point of view. I’m sure one of the reasons they bought him was the amount of shit he was getting from some people. This however also showed me what the show lacked. Though I loved 2gether.. most of the time we saw things were Tine’s perspective. It would have really been good to see it from Sarawat’s perspective in the last episode. You can also see Bright’s frustration at times with how they portrayed Sarawat.

I assume you watching the reaction video atm! Let me say this boy gives me heart attacks like how thoughtful he is and wants to explain sarawat’s every move since episode 12 and why he acted the way he acted. I felt like he kept it inside for so long that it needed to be spoken out like when he wanted to see a reaction from P’Jennie how he looked away and then right back at her. He was so stressed and on the edge the whole time! How he repeatedly said he’s sorry for Sarawat cause he knows that everyone was sorry for Tine but didn’t get to see/understand his side of version. He also zoned out in a couple of scenes like this boy has sooo many emotions and it feels it’s too overwhelming for him(I feel that at least). I’m so grateful that Bright exists and talk about loving a man and to feel love so freely!! He could’ve said so much in the end but instead it was more like an apology for hurting Tine and how his character works. He understands Sarawat so much. I’ll cry. I didn’t thought my opinion would be that long... he’s speaking so enthusiastically about Sarawat and what his character taught him. This boy is really a blessing for the 2gether + lgbt+ community I love him he’s a child like a babie :((

hiii anons!!! i’m gonna combine all of your asks into one bc we’re all essentially talking about the same thing.

yeah. so. the ep 13 reaction video. lets talk about it.

firstly, i ... it will never cease to astound me just how much bright loves sarawat? he knows him with every fibre of himself. he knows sarawat right down to the tendon and bone of him. like. bright’s taken so much time out to character study sarawat, get into his psyche and mind and heart. and. i hate novel! sarawat, but, bright’s taken that character, and made it his own, completely transforming him. and that takes so much understanding and commitment and passion. truly, we don’t deserve bright. we really don’t. and i am so thankful we got bright to play sarawat. no body else could have done sarawat better than bright. so much so that like .... they both overlap, bright and sarawat. sometimes its hard to distinguish where sarawat ends and bright begins.

and like some of yall said, i think it was a very clever ... move (?) ... to star bright to react to ep 13, solo, without win. bc, like yall mentioned, and like im gonna dwell on now: 2gether was entirely from tine’s perspective. it reminds me a bit of skam, in that way, that ... ya know even tho i’ve watched skam and i should KNOW this, but i still forget just how POWERFUL perspectives are. and how much they influence your way of thinking. i touched upon this after ep 12, but now after watching bright react to the whole of ep 13, like, it comes back to that. we saw everything through tine’s eyes. and so, it felt like, sarawat’s side needed to be justified. but it could never be done on the show bc the show was about tine’s perspective. and the only way it could have been done, is if they both would have talked.

which brings me onto my next point, that bright mentions - the biggest barrier and fault was they both don’t know how to talk. i touched upon this just yday actually, how sarawat is someone who doesn’t know how to talk, he’s more of a do-er (like bright said), whereas tine is someone who overthinks himself to the point of sickness and anxiety and so he doesn’t know how to voice that out, and like bright said, tine is someone who is EXTREMELY obedient - if someone says something to him to do, tine will go along and do that and won’t say no to them. which means that tine himself has had very little experience of going with his gut and how he feels, and when he comes face to face in a situation like that, it becomes Very overwhelming for him.

so, it was really clever to have bright on, solo, to explain everything from his and sarawat’s perspective. especially the bit where bright was like “everytime someone flirted with tine, wat never once questioned his trust for tine or their love, he would go directly to the person in question and deal with them.” and ... ya know, that’s more easier for sarawat to do, than it is for tine, who isn’t like that at all - like bright said, tine is the more obedient one who just follows along everybody else’s suggestions and has never really used his agency to decision make for himself.

and so ... yeaah. like. people sent a LOT of verbal abuse to bright after ep 12. and bright even said he knew it would happen, bc the entire series is from tine’s perspective, he understood that from well before. so he says he was prepared, but he still didn’t come on social media that often bc he got so much verbal abuse over it.

and like, i’ve said before, just like how jennie and go said in the reaction video, that we should have got less flashbacks in the finale, and instead, we could have had a more sweeter scene. that could have been and should have been a proper, open and honest conversation between tine and sarawat, or, as bright suggested, a kiss. so, ya know, as some people were saying that maybe bright was just uncomfortable about kissng win??? no. no he wouldnt be AT ALL. it just ... never occured in the script. but yeah. i think .......... it really did get to bright - that sarawat never on the show got a chance to explain.

which honestly makes me feel like thats why half the time he would improvise as sarawat? and add in things he KNOWS sarawat would/should do bc he KNOWS the depths of his love for tine so he used those moments so smartly to show that (a sign of v v v good acting!!!). like a marriage proposal, or putting tine’s hand over his shoulder, or adding in cheek kisses. like. bright’s really gone over and beyond for sarawat and tried to show just how intensely in love wat is with tine, with the little space and room for manoeuvre that he got granted.

idk if the some of scripts were written in a rush? i mean, 2gether was the FIRST show from gmmtv to air in 2020 - if i’m correct???? - so, between november to february, the had to get everything shooted and done, but they MUST have started script writing earlier than that. idk ...

personally, i do wish we did get some more of the novel scenes in the show. like, sarawat and tine coming out to sarawat’s dad was SUCH a BEAUTIFUL scene in the novel but we never got it on the show. why? bc it was from sarawat’s perspective, not tine’s. another really nice scene, is the cinema scene where they held hands, but on the show we got a different version of it, where instead, they talked about a happy or tragic ending before tine decides to accept being wat’s boyfriend and they hug (i like that scene though, purely bc we got to see win’s crying which was !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AMAZING! and the hug was SUPER sweet!).

but yeah, it .... idk. seeing bright in that reaction video in some moments Hurt. bc .... there was so much he wanted to say but he kept it in. and he’d just glance and sigh and look down or away bc he GETS sarawat in a way i think nobody else does. and so ..... had the show had more time, or was able to cut out some scenes and replace them with other and rewrite bits, we could have gotten sarawat’s perspective, and not had the show completely butcher sarawat’s image in ep 12 the way they did, only for them to then have less than one episode, a finale no less, to save his face again, whilst also tying up every other plot at the same time.

like, bright has SO MUCH to offer as sarawat. and bright says he doesnt know about a season 2 (yet), but, ya know, if we ever got to see tine and sarawat again, i kinda wish they allow bright more freedom - bc he understands his character a lot more better than the writers do, i feel. he gets sarawat on soul deep level. so i just wish they’d give bright more freedom to be sarawat. and i have no doubt that, if that had been the case, we would have gotten a LOT more physical intimacy between tine and sarawat. i’m not mad about the lack of it, but, i’m assuming that bright would have really made sarawat be a lot more physical with tine. but at the same time, i agree with bright when he said that tine and wat are people who show their affections to one another in private - which is why i am SO ...... upset that we never got to see tine and wat ALONE in the one year later scene, bc, like i said, they WOULD have been a LOT LOT LOT more intimate then. but they weren’t alone. so they weren’t intimate. which. yeah.

but at the same time, ya know, bright’s so .... like. he gets where the hurt for tine stems from. just like how he gets sarawat’s character, he gets tine’s too. but like he said, he’s lived and breathed wat since day one - and so, i think he just really wanted a chance to explain everything from sarawat’s point of view. he really didn’t need to apologise at all, and yet he did, on behalf of wat hurting tine.

so whilst i know its just said that oh ya know bright should just write the whole of s2, i kinda wish, if we were to get one, that they writers would sit down and LISTEN to bright and win and take some input of theirs in, since, they’re the ones who KNOW their characters and play them.

but yeah, bright’s mind. his intellect. his knowing of sarawat ............. it will never cease to amaze to me just how dedicated he was at an emotional and psychological level to play sarawat.

The more and more I see animals I realize how desensitized people truly are to what they are doing by harming and killing them for food. I literally wanna cry because like? Why? Like please watch videos of animals and tell me they are valueless other than for food? They are the earth and remind us what we are. They are magnificent creatures and remind us of the wonder and awe of existence, the purity of life and how much love is truly inside. There is a reason human beings aren’t the only animals on this planet. The other day I imagined what the planet would feel and look like without animals and it made me want to throw up violently. Animals aren’t entirely one with human culture and are often in cages but when you look at free wildlife or even at home pets can you imagine a world with just polluted and corrupted humans???? How could anyone seriously critically think and look and watch videos of animals or interact with them and then watch the ways they are treated and continue because they are conditioned to eating them and simply “like the taste”. I don’t understand. It makes me so upset and sad. The fear they feel knowing they’ll be killed and literally jumping off of cars to avoid being killed, being forced. What the fuck is wrong with y’all literally. I love so many people who do not realize how wrong it is to hurt animals and kill them and pick and choose which is which, and so many people hate vegans and vegetarians why? BC WE MAKE YALL GUILTY. BECAUSE SOMETHING INSIDE YOU DOESNT FEEL RIGHT WHEN WE TALK ABOUT IT. ITS JUST THE TRUTH. I will never say someone is going to hell or like is evil for eating animal carcus, I don’t think I am better than any other person, I don’t hold some egoic prestige over not eating animals, It just doesn’t sit right with my soul and I think people should be more outspoken about it. I don’t like making my loved ones who eat meat uncomfortable, but I wish they listened to their bodies, because tbh, I’ve heard so many people truly listening to their bodies and connecting it to lethargy, illness and overall ick feelings. I wish people really thought deeper.

CEO Pt. Two~ Grayson Dolan

A/N: I took too long to upload this and this isn’t even long enough to compensate for that lol oops. But I hope yall like it anyway c: Let me know what you think! (Next part will be longer I sweeeeaaarr)

The night consisted of a lot of hot sex, and a lot of laughing.

But despite that, the next morning, Y/N awoke to an empty bed. She wanted to be unsurprised. She even wanted to not care, but for some reason she did care. Sex with Grayson was some of the best she’d ever had—not that she’d ever get the chance to tell him so.

After talking a bit more about the project he wanted to start with Ethan, his twin brother, they drank some more and then started where they left off at the car. They both got oversensitive from how much they’d fucked, Y/N’s pussy tingled at the thought of it.

She sighed disappointedly before making her way to the bathroom to shower and get ready for her day. After having done her hair and makeup to her liking she entered the kitchen, surprised to see Grayson lying on her sofa. Her eyebrows shot up as she watched him snore. How did I miss that sound when I woke up? She thought to herself.

Y/N shrugged before making her way to the kitchen, making a breakfast shake and some toast. After placing the two smoothies, and a large plate of avocado toast on the coffee table, she turned the tv on loudly, taking a quick bite of her toast, sitting back and watching as Grayson sat up, startled by the loud music from whatever show she’d chosen off of Netflix.

Grayson looked around the room in a confused state before his eyes landed on a smirking Y/N. She turned the tv to a normal volume and gestured towards the food. “Made you breakfast as a thank you.” Grayson’s eyebrows shot up at the gesture, his chest warming at how kind it was. She wasn’t as cold as she made herself out to be. “A thank you? Also, is that smoothie dairy free?” He asked sheepishly.

She looked at him strangely, “No, it’s almond milk—the only dairy consumed in this household is cheese. I didn’t think that’d compliment the fruits very well, though, but if you want some—“

Grayson pecked her lips, effectively cutting her sarcasm off, “This was really nice of you…ma.”

For the first time, in what felt like maybe ever, Y/N blushed. Grayson noticed, but didn’t comment, he simply smiled triumphantly. “Why’d you sleep on the couch?” She asked, sipping on her smoothie. Grayson shrugged, “something told me you weren’t the type to cuddle.” He wanted to seem nonchalant, but his heart couldn’t help but stutter at the thought that maybe she wanted him to cuddle her.

“I’m not.” Or not, he thought.

“Then good thing I didn’t stay in your bed then, huh?” Grayson mocked her, a smirk finding its way onto his face despite the slight disappointment he felt. Y/N made a face, nodding a bit, continuing her breakfast. They watched the show in a comfortable silence, finishing their respective meals. Once they did, Y/N watched as Grayson gathered their dishes and made his way to the kitchen to wash them. She followed suit, sitting on the countertop by the sink as he cleaned up.

“Thank you,” she muttered as he finished. He leaned his hip against the sink, facing her, his signature goofy smile on his face as he said, “You made breakfast, it was only right. About last night—“

“I’d like to do it again, if you’re interested,” she stated. No use in beating around the bush, not when she wanted something. Grayson’s eyebrows shot up, his heart racing as he moved to stand between her legs. He placed his large hands on her thighs, “I think something could be arranged,” he muttered. Grayson softly rubbed up her thigh, his thumbs only an inch from her core, before he pushed them back down to her knees, rubbing circles into them, a smirk on his face.

He leaned in closely, his breath tickling her neck before he began to place small, fluttering kisses on it. Y/N chuckled as he made his way down, making Grayson’s heart skip a beat as he continued kissing down her chest and breasts through the fabric of her shirt, a small smile playing at the corner of his lips. Her laughter stopped when he pressed his lips to her hastily; his tongue swiping against her bottom lip for the entrance she decided against, pushing him backwards instead. Grayson groaned as the pretty, red painted smirk he knew he’d grow to be very fond of, took its rightful place on Y/N’s face as she said, “Not quite yet.”

Those three words ignited a flame that neither of the two would quite know how to extinguish. They met up almost everyday for three months, creating an unspoken, but strict, routine: on Sundays, Grayson helped Y/N film and edit her videos. He’d sleep over on Saturday nights. Most of those Saturdays consisted of Thai takeout and a movie followed by long makeout sessions and sometimes fast and rough sex, sometimes it’d be a nightlong 50 Shades ordeal, and sometimes they wouldn’t have sex at all—they’d just hold each other and talk, something neither of them could bring themselves to do with anyone else. The next morning Y/N would make breakfast while Grayson set up her equipment. At some point, he became her unofficial cameraman and would spend the evening helping her edit.

During work on weekdays, they’d spend hours on FaceTime. Helping each other through the lull that paperwork brought, and Grayson especially loved when Y/N began a new project and took him into meetings. Her eyes would sparkle as she ran through ideas with her team, her phone propped up so he could see her, and she always kept at least one AirPod in so he could hear her too. She had to learn how to acknowledge Grayson’s commentary while staying as professional as possible; she spent a long time earning the respect she had, she wouldn’t want to damage that.

A couple time’s a month, Y/N returned the weekly favor Grayson did on Sundays and would help the Dolan twins with their videos. She’d help them film sometimes when they needed more than one cameraman, and she’d helped them plan a few videos as well. They’d truly become best friends; Y/N knew Grayson almost as well as his own twin did and Grayson knew her better than anyone else did.

To Y/N, it was all perfect. She had someone she could call her best friend: someone who could make her laugh until she wheezed, make her scream in orgasm, someone who knew her Thai order without asking, and bought her tampons and groceries whenever he was able to—their dynamic was perfect. There was no drama, no distraction from work, no—

“I think we should stop,” Grayson said one Saturday at Y/N’s door. He’d gotten there a lot earlier than he usually did, but Y/N had a tendency to wear lingerie as loungewear so she was never not ready to be taken by him. He’d knocked so loudly, she imagined the scenario going very differently as she was already untying the red silk robe while opening the door. Her manicured fingers fell from the robe as he spoke.

While their friendship and all its factors meant more than a great deal to Y/N, Grayson was beginning to see that there was no future in what they were doing. No matter how close they became, no matter how happy they were, no matter how familiar they’d become to each other…Y/N was never going to see him as more than a friend. He’d come to terms with this reality. This didn’t mean that it didn’t hurt him, but it did mean that he’d asked a girl he’d met, and had a rather lengthy conversation with at a coffee shop that morning, out on a date. He liked Nancy enough. She was kind and soft-spoken. She reminded Grayson of sunshine, except on legs. He knew that if they were to go out, it was more than likely that he’d fall in love with her.

But she wasn’t anything like the fiery, intimidating, and blunt woman he’d grown to love. He wasn’t sure that anyone like Y/N existed, he highly doubted it—but at the very least she’d stay his friend.

“Stop what, baby boy?” Y/N asked as she furrowed her brows, not bothering to cover herself back up, her red lacy bra and underwear on full display as she left the door open for him to walk through. She took a seat on her couch and patted the space next to her, concern in her eyes. He seemed nervous and reluctant. She knew what he meant, but she didn’t understand where it’d come from. They were fine last night before he left to go back home to hang out with Ethan, what had happened in less than 24 hours that would have him wanting to leave her?

What did I do wrong? She asked herself, suddenly wanting to kick him out so she’d be in control of the situation. So maybe the sting of losing someone she’d become so close to wouldn’t hurt as much.

Grayson ignored the stirring in his pants at both the sight of her and the pet name. He’d never been one to be submissive, or enjoy it at the very least, but having Y/N dom him, made him change his mind. Judging by the color she was wearing, that’s what he would’ve been in for had he not said anything. He wanted to take it back as he took her in, his mind briefly imagining her tying him up and making him beg for her—but he pushed the thoughts down. He needed to move on.

“Stop the sex part of our relationship.” He clarified. There was a brief pause before he continued, “I met someone.” He was hoping to elicit some type of reaction. A part of him, the selfish part, hoped that she would realize his feelings if she felt him slipping away. That if she watched him begin to fall for someone else, that it’d change her mind about relationships, about commitment.

Grayson’s life wasn’t like the romcoms he binged with Y/N on Saturday nights, though. He’d always found it ironic that romantic comedies were her favorite, when commitment was something she couldn’t fathom. He was disappointed when a wide smile, one he didn’t think he’d ever seen before, made its way onto her face, “Really? That’s great, Gray! Tell me about her?”

It took him a moment to gather his disappointed pieces and shove them in a box but once he did, he told her about Nancy.

The pair sat together on the couch, discussing Grayson’s potential love interest, both doing their best to ignore the tension it brought between them as they both figured it was a figment of their own imaginations. Y/N didn’t want to let what they had go; she knew a relationship would take him away from her in big ways—not just sexual but also their weekend routines, or even just hanging out in general. He’d met someone, though. She knew what that meant to him because he wasn’t like her. He wanted a family one day. She wasn’t the person to give that to him. And the way he described Nancy? He described her as some kind of goddess living amongst them, and it was something she could never amount to even in her wildest dreams. Even if she was the ‘settle-down-start-a-family’ type, he wouldn’t love her. She was too much of the opposite of what he wanted.

What felt like hours later, but was really only half of one, Grayson checked his watch to see he had to get going or else he’d be late for the date. “She’s gonna love you,. Who wouldn’t?” Y/N smiled, fixing his hair a bit after walking him back to her front door. She knew she was doing the right thing, letting him go. It didn’t hurt her any less, though. Grayson’s eyes softened, silently begging her to ask him to stay.

But Grayson knew his best friend better than anyone. She either wouldn’t notice his silent pleas, or she’d ignore them. So instead of making any other embarrassing attempts to get her to ask him to cancel the date, he kissed her forehead swiftly and grinned, “I’ll let you know how it goes.”

She nodded, closing the door behind him. Y/N slid down her door, ignoring the startled feeling the cold tiles brought as they met her warm, exposed skin. She brought her knees up under her chin and tried to calm her breathing as her chest began to ache and tearless sobs racked her body. She didn’t want to cry, but the second the thought of Grayson no longer being in her life crossed her mind, the tears fell freely.

If he didn’t stick around for the sex, it was only a matter of time before the friendship aspect of their relationship deteriorated too.

Handmade Heaven: so when I first heard this song I was already in love like wow.... the song just gives me chills in general and is a very cute song. this song was beautifully produced - ive just overplayed it for myself which is unfortunate for me

Superstar: TBH not sure about this song at first, BUT I ended up eventually loving it a lot actually omg. very good song for radio, technically a great pop song.

Orange Trees: Same as superstar, ended up loving it, but also not my favourite yk?? good to listen to on a nice day while on the streetcar or a train

Baby: fun song tbh!! also not my favourite, but the video was cute. I know this one was an obvious collab. liked that bit of gay/bi rep in the video. also I do like marinas solo version on the LP a little better

Enjoy Your Life: this one is a fun cute song, but also one I think we can all relate to. I actually got chills listening to this song bc of how damn relatable it was and how we all need to think about how were human and make mistakes and thats okay!!! just live your life right??

Too Afraid: god..... at first I was like... this is chill, but I went through a depressive phase + listened to the lyrics and H E A V I L Y related like damn... this song started to really give me chills like every lyric in this song I relate to and it really kind of captures that feeling of isolation and being trapped in a lifestyle you dont want to live which is EXACTLY how I feel. also the chorus is fun to sing

No More Suckers: this one is just really fun tbh. its also a good message yk, like leave those leeches in the past who needs them!! dont let people take advantage of you!!

Soft to be Strong: I dont know where the fuck to start on this song. this needs to be heard by everyone, especially men. like this is a universally relatable song, and something we arent told like at all really. being vulnerable takes fucking guts and its important to be able to show that sometimes. its better to be kind in the end, as cruel people have a lot of insecurities of their own. it’s easy in todays society to talk shit, we all do it all the time. but we've lost our sense of empathy in a way, and I dont know how to explain this since im drunk, but like as a psych major and empath this hits me in a certain way. another one of those songs that just gives me goosebumps

OVERALL:

okay tbh this is probably the best album Marina has released like EVER in terms of lyrics and technical production. her lyrics mean something, they aren’t just empty gestures and you can tell. she has so much wisdom and awareness of what is going on, and it shows in her lyrics. she has done a lot of collabs on this one, yet is still able to have her style shine through, even when you can tell it is a collab. im super proud of Marina, and actually happy she waited 4 years to release this. I think in terms of a number scale, I’d rate it a solid 9/10 - esp since I haven't been able to stop listening to this album since LOVE came out in early April. I HIGHLY recommend taking a listen and digesting the lyrics bc she has a lot to say and we should be listening!!

A sound full of unfamiliarity

The pain in my throat gets worse

I dont have a voice

An unfamiliar sound of something breaking wakes him up. He tries to avoid it by covering his ears and trying to go back to sleep. His throat hurts more, and he tries to cover up the sound by screaming. Because he then says that he doesn’t have a voice.

Today I hear that sound again

Its ringing again, that sound

A crack again on this frozen lake

I dumped myself into the lake

I buried my voice for you

Another day and he hears that sound again. A crack – meaning that he keeps hearing something breaking. The frozen lake keeps cracking (– temperatures keep shifting. It can either mean that the ice is getting stronger or weaker.) He dumped himself into the cold and gave up on his voice.

Over the winter lake I was thrown

A thick ice has formed

In the dream I shortly went into

My agonizing phantom pain is still the same

He says that he was thrown but above he said that he dumped himself into the lake – this could mean that there was something like a trigger that forced him to feel the desire to dump himself into the lake. And also over that lake, a thick ice has formed – this could mean that the temperature changed in a way that the ice got stronger.

Even in the dream the he shortly went to, his pain was apparent. A phantom pain = something that doesn’t exist anymore but you still feel pain. So even in his dreams he cant be free.

Have I lost myself

Or have I gained you

I suddenly run to the lake

There`s my face in it

By losing himself he can gain that person – by gaining that person he loses himself. He runs to the lake when he thinks of that connection (losing and gaining). And the he sees his face = his true self that is trapped in the ice. Meaning that he lost/locked away his true self and has put on a mask just to “gain” that person.

Please dont say anything

Reach my hand out to cover the mouth

But in the end, spring will come someday

The ice will melt and flow away

He doesn’t want the person to say anything so he covers their mouth. He doesn’t want to listen to them. And says that spring will come eventually, the ice will melt and flow away – meaning that his throat won’t hurt anymore, his ears won’t hurt anymore, he will be able to sleep and relax. I think this is a way of expressing how V doesn’t want to accept the fact that he has lost himself. I think the two last sentences are like “even if I did lose myself, a time will come where the ice will melt (spring) and I will find myself again”.

Tell me if my voice isnt real

If I shouldnt have thrown myself away

Tell me if even this pain isnt real

What I was supposed to do back then

If his voice isn’t real, that person should tell him. If he shouldn’t have thrown himself away, then the person should tell him. If the pain isn’t real then the person should tell him BUT he also covers that person’s mouth and ask them to be quiet (above). Maybe because he is scared of the answer? Or doesn’t want to hear it? Or maybe he knows that what he did is wrong but he still tries to justify his actions by saying “what was I supposed to do” because he was feeling pain.

A quick summary of the music videos meaning, so that the details I explain are more understandable:

V has problems dealing with all of his emotions, so he locks them (and his true self) away by pretending to be someone he is not. (he also does that for a woman he believes is his “soulmate”.) And that process of pretending to be someone he isn’t is displayed by him putting on masks and the different colors and places shown in the mv. And all that while the real V is trapped under the ice.

1 . Plain grey concrete

Lyrics:

I think the combination of the lyrics and the dancer’s/V’s movements (right when he says “A sound of something breaking” he abruptly moves his hand away and the dancers also move), indicate that V notices that that cracking sound means that his true self is falling deeper and deeper into the lake. (ice gets stronger and stronger) Meaning that he is losing himself more. But he only knows that deep down and doesn’t want to accept it.

Grey:

2 . V trapped behind ice

Lyrics right after: Try to cover my ears but can’t go to sleep

And before: The pain in my throat gets worse

Ice meaning:

So, he truly is losing himself more and more. V has “frozen”/lost/locked himself in the lake. He put on a mask for the sake of that woman. However by doing all of that, he completely ignores his problems and deceives himself into thinking that he is “someone else” (sounds quite dramatic lol). But by locking himself away, he loses all his colours. He locks everything away that makes him special and different. And he suffocates in grey. All of his emotions, his colours, his true personality, are locked away and he becomes something like a robot (definition of the colour grey). Because by doing that, he “creates a sense of calmness” because with his personality, experiences, emotions (and basically everything that makes him himself) all the problems, anxiety, worry and anger disappear. He is surrounded by grey. That’s what his self has become. However, for that woman he puts on a mask. To make it seem as if he hasn’t lost himself. And also to be able to stay with her. Because if he still had his colours etc, he would be haunted by his problems and his pain, concluding into him not being able to stay with her. So through her, he can keep up his façade and convince himself that he truly is happy with that woman.

Buuut he isn’t because its LOVE YOURSELF not FAKE YOURSELF

3 . Red R-Revolution, E-Evolution, D-Drop in the Oceeeeaaan

Lyrics:

The pain in my throat gets worse

Try to cover it

I don’t have a voice

Today I hear that sound again

Its ringing again, that sound (only half of this line)

Red meaning:

I think the colour and the lyrics explain how he is feeling while fighting that sound. Or trying to overpower it with his scream. The Tae surrounded by red during that crack sound, is the Tae who has his mask on and has locked up his true self.

However:

The Tae surrounded by blue is the locked up, repressed part. The colour blue represents his oppression.

Also right after V says “try to cover it” we briefly see the blue scene from above. Meaning that he tries to cover up the crack sound which is connected to his real self. So: he tries to cover up his real self. Why is the crack sound connected to his real self? Because the crack means that the ice is getting stronger = the ice in which his true self is locked is getting stronger = he is losing/hiding himself more

4. The masks:

Riiight here there is this glitch in the song. That glitch is connected to the sound (the crack) that V keeps hearing.

We have a colourless (white) Tae with his masks surrounding him. It is up to him which mask he chooses.

Lyrics:

Its ringing again, that sound A crack again on this frozen lake

Then we again see the locked away part of V that is surrounded by blue

I dumped myself into the lake

The colour behind V goes from purple/violet to blue.

The V we are seeing right now is again the locked up part. Why does it go from purple to blue?

Purple:

Blue:

He goes from being someone immature and arrogant (as seen by himself) to seeming cool, calm and collected. Purple is being covered by blue. And the blue is the representation of how he locked up his true self. (purple representing a part of his true self) And during these scenes he says “I dumped myself into the lake”

I buried my voice for you

The fact that we see these scenes in between V’s white clothed ones with the masks makes it seem like the blue scenes are a flashback. In the sense of: the white and neutral V knows that he has locked up his real self and recalls it. While trying to decide which mask to put on.

As seen by the dance and the movements of the masks, it is obvious that v controls the masks.

In the background we the blue (representing the “oppression” of his true self) and in the foreground, where all the dancers and V stand, we see grey.

However amidst all of this negativity :’) we see this:

The walls of this room are covered. Do you know what these scenes remind me of:

The thing is: it’s the exact same room/concept, however since V has locked himself up in the lake, those walls that are “stained” with his “sins”, are now covered with paper. Because he locked up his real self. However, we don’t have the exact same “sins” as RUN written on the – now covered – walls of Singularity. Because this is a different timeline where he has different “sins”. But the concept of the room is the same.

Moving on: we see his earring saying “LOVED” and also the red roses which are a representation of love. This means that, the V that has covered/locked up his true self and has put on a façade, is being loved. By whom? By that woman.

In the dream I shortly went to

By dream he doesn’t mean a real dream or an illusion like Jin’s dream world, but more like an unattainable dream like the blue mirage. So, something he wishes he has but it’s only a dream. However, which part of this mv is that dream?

The scenes where his walls are covered and he is loved, are parts of a dream that he has always wanted to be reality. And for a short moment, it felt like that dream had come true since he put on a mask and found a woman that loves him. But that’s just FAKE LOVE because the woman loves his faced and his masks but not his real self because she doesn’t even know his real self.

However, there was that short moment where he truly wanted to believe or believed that his dream had become reality AND THAT is the dream “he shortly went to”

BUT: even in that dream, pain follows him.

My agonizing phantom pain is still the same

In this case it is not a body part but more like this:

During the time he still had his true self and didn’t use masks etc, he felt all of his pain. The pain of everything that had happened until now.

But now that he locked that part away, he shouldn’t feel that pain anymore.

But it still is there, so its “phantom pain”.

The dream that he shortly went to is burned and destroyed once again as the phantom pain appears.

He runs to the lake and sees that the ice is melting

The ice continues to melt.

Meaning that spring has come and that it is time for Tae to find his true self again.

There are many ways to interpret this. One being: The flower represents the girl or more like the “short dream” that I talked about before.

He lets go of the flower (lets go of the dream) and the flower moves away with the masks. Because V won’t use a different façade anymore.

The V that shortly went to the dream (the one who was in the room with flowers) is seen putting on the mask as black fluid runs down his “cheek”. I think this scene is like a farewell. The last time he puts on a mask. And black can be interpreted as the sadness or tears. And maybe that his mask is now breaking and his true self is slowly coming out.

Like yall please,, look at him as an individual instead of just praizing his existence just for the sake of Komahina. Same for Nagito. Yall only want gay Nagito bc of komahina smh.

They both deserve more respect than this. (This honestly reminds me of a character from Fairy Tail known as Natsu and he's only used for Nalu shit and it hurts but we're not gonna talk about him rn. I can make a post about him soon.) I mean if Hajime even like stands next to Nagito or breathes the same air as him, yall are very quick to say "omG HAJIME FED HIM. When Dan woke up it was dark in his flat. The television was off—which was not how Dan remembered leaving it—and none of his lights were on. The only source of light in the whole flat were the blinds on his big window being drawn, letting the moonlight filter into the room and giving everything the softest edge.

He groaned after a moment of realizing that he was awake, shuffling his body a little to try and get more comfortable. It was dark—obviously he wasn't supposed to be awake yet if the sun wasn't even up so why the fuck was he?

Dan started to try and think back to what had happened earlier to put him in this position, however, when he started to move, whatever he was lying on top of shifted as well and let out a soft-yet-very human sound. Dan held his breath and suppressed a scream. What the fucking hell-

Dan tried to jerk his body up into a sitting position only to fail due to some kind of weight resting on the small of his back. His heart still racing, Dan snapped up his neck instead of his whole body only to come face-to-face with Phil's sleeping one.

What the goddamn hell-

Oh.

Everything came rushing back to him all at once, and relieved at the fact that he hadn't been tied down to his couch by burglars or something just as utterly ridiculous in his sleep, Dan let out a breath and relaxed against Phil, feeling the anxiety in his system start to drain out.

His peace of mind didn't last long, though, because half a heartbeat later he was blushing horribly and his head was already thinking of a million different excuses to...to explain whatever this was.

Phil was lying on his back on the sofa, head propped up against the armrest. Dan was curled on top of him, his head tucked under Phil's neck and right up on his chest (Dan had a feeling that Phil's chin had been resting on his head while they had both been asleep. The thought made his heart race a little bit faster). Their bodies were tangled together under the duvet, their legs intertwined and Phil's arms cast around Dan's waist, Dan's own arms pulled under himself. The duvet itself was draped over the both of them in a bit of a mess, slipping off of the sofa and onto the floor at the one corner.

Dan glanced up once again. Phil's face was smushed comically against the junction of the back of the couch and the armrest, mouth parted and hair sticking up in more ways than what was probably physically possible. His glasses—when the fuck had they appeared?—were askew and slipping off the bridge of his nose. Dan felt a dopey smile spread across his face. Phil was adorable when he was sleeping but still as much of an endearing mess as he was when he was awake. Unbelievable.

He reached up and lifted the black frames from Phil's face, gently to try and avoid waking the older man. Phil didn't even stir, and Dan twisted around, reaching with his arm out to place the glasses on his coffee table. Phil grumbled in his sleep at Dan's fidgeting and brought his arms a little tighter around Dan's waist, one of his legs twitching. Dan snorted out of amusement, but settled back into place and held himself still.

Under normal circumstances, Dan's head would be going crazy. He would be unconsciously psychoanalyzing everything in the situation and he would be doubting himself in his normal manner. But in a pleasant change of heart—or mind, rather—his head was staying blissfully quiet. Dan didn't have an explanation for it; it might have been because of waking up not too long ago, or maybe because he had absolutely exhausted himself with all of his emotional distress lately, or something else. Regardless, Dan wasn't going to force it. The quiet thoughts were a welcome change.

Dan let his eyes drift up past Phil's face and to the exposed window and the stars outside of it. He had always loved to look at the stars ever since he was younger, and now that he was laying on top of Phil, letting himself be held, his head quiet, everything was so much better. If time decided to freeze right at this moment, Dan wouldn't even care.

The next thing Dan knew, he was yawning and cracking his eyes open.

He groaned from the light nearly blinding him as soon as he lifted his eyelids even a little bit, and moved to tuck his face into the couch cushions, but ended up snuggling down further into the duvet still draped over him and shifting his whole body as well to try and get more comfortable. Dan started to nod off once more, when he suddenly realized that he was alone on said sofa.

Picking his head up and blearily opening his eyes, Dan looked around the lounge. He didn't see Phil anywhere, but his glasses weren't on the coffee table anymore.

Did he leave?

Dan jumped as a loud yelp sounded form the kitchen and as well as what Dan could only guess was something metal—a fork or knife, maybe—clattering to the ground.

"Phil?"

Dan didn't get an answer, but he could hear Phil muttering to himself in the background, so very reluctantly, Dan rolled off of the couch and tugged the duvet tighter around his shoulders, not willing to give up the comfort just yet. Dan padded into the kitchen. A large handful of his cabinets were open and there were two bowls of cereal on the counter, the box of Crunchy Nut that Dan had left on the floor yesterday next to the poured cereal. Phil was bent over, picking up a spoon from the floor, which was probably what Dan had heard falling.

"Phil?" Dan said again, with a bit of a yawn this time, rubbing his eye. He was tired as hell.

Phil jumped about a dozen feet into the air and dropped the spoon yet again, it clattering away from Phil's foot. Phil spun around with a hand on his chest, eyes wide.

"Dan! You scared me!"

"Phil," Dan sighed, rolling his eyes a little but smiling nonetheless, "sometimes I'm surprised by you, really."

"Look, here I am trying to get us both a nice breakfast-"

"Of cereal? Scratch that, of my cereal?"

"Oh shut it. Like I said, here I was, being the perfect guest and you just scare me. Rude." Phil said, sticking his tongue out and picking up the dropped silverware. He slid the now-dirty spoon into Dan's sink and went to reach for another, but Dan stopped him.

"Don't bother, I don't think I have any milk to pour in anyways, so we don't really need spoons as long as you don't have some weird 'no-eating-with-hands' thing I need to know about." Dan walked over and picked up his bowl of cereal, giving Phil a little, appreciative smile. "C'mon, we can eat in the lounge on my couch."

Dan didn't really wait for Phil, but he could hear him moving—presumably—to follow Dan. As an afterthought, Dan called over his shoulder, "And close the cabinet doors!" to which Phil replied with a very indignant sounding "Yes, mum!"

Within a few moments of Dan dropping himself back onto the couch, Phil was there as well, sitting on the other end, their legs both in the middle and on top of each other. Dan was reminded of a few nights ago, with them playing video games, his feet draped over Phil's lap, and what happened after. Dan looked at Phil out of the corner of his eye. He didn't really mind if he could get the chance to kiss Phil again. But the question was; did Phil?

They ate in silence, but it wasn't an oppressive one, just the two of them munching and enjoying each other's company. Dan's thoughts were still a little hopeful, a little wary, but he tried to keep them tame enough to not show; he didn't want to ruin this with his insecurities.

Dan finished his breakfast first, and he tapped his fingers against the ceramic for a few moments before he gave in.

"Hey, Phil?"

"Yeah?"

He had to know.

"Last night you said we wouldn't talk about anything until I slept, and well...I don't have work for-" Dan looked at the clock on his wall, "-another hour." He purposely left half of his question unsaid, and Phil nodded in understanding, making Dan simultaneously breathe out a little sigh of relief and tighten his grip on his bowl in anxious anticipation.

"Just because of time, I don't think we should talk about anything too heavy," Phil began, finishing the bite in his mouth and swallowing, "but, I think you're right. We do have a bunch of stuff to sort out."

"Mhm...what do you, uh, want to sort out then?" Dan asked. He felt nervous and unlike earlier, he was sure that it showed with how his fingers wouldn't stop moving along the ceramic and how his shoulders were tense and pulled tight to his body.

Phil just smiled and plucked the empty bowl from Dan's hand, putting both of their bowls on the table near them and scooting forward. Phil clasped one of their hands together, and with the skin-on-skin contact his heart started to beat a little bit happier in his chest. Phil leaned in until their faces were close enough for Dan to see the starbursts of his eyes, and let his other hand fall to the side of Dan's head.

"Can I kiss you, Dan?" Phil asked, his voice low.

"Yes," Dan breathed, his voice even quieter than Phil's.

This kiss wasn't like the ones they shared that night. It was softer, but still filled to the brim with emotion. These emotions, however, weren't like the powerful, fast, desperate ones that had dominated their kisses before. They were much more gentle, filled with a more soothing warmth, and—dare he say it—drenched in a feeling that Dan couldn't help but think as something similar to adoration.

Phil's mouth was warm and his lips were velvet soft, dragging across Dan's, his thumb brushing Dan's cheekbone over and over, making Dan's head spin. Dan's eyes had long drifted closed, and he just let himself relax into the cushions, absolutely melting under the kisses Phil was giving him.

He nipped at Dan's lip and pulled back, Dan's head following him until his neck just wouldn't stretch anymore and he had to let it fall back against the sofa, a pout on his features but not even caring if Phil saw.

"Phil, come back," Dan whined. Phil giggled at his antics, but decidedly didn't lean back in to kiss Dan breathless like he wanted him to. Instead, Phil brought their linked hands up so they could both see them and started to play with Dan's knuckles.

"Dan, I wasn't kidding when I said I've fallen for you, completely and utterly. You're Dan Howell and you have my heart, right here in your hands." Phil squeezed Dan's hand with his own. "I would love nothing more than if you gave me the chance to be your boyfriend. To take you out on dates, and watch shitty Netflix movies with, and dance in the kitchen with at 3AM when we certainly should be sleeping, and, yes, to play with your hair just like you said you love. I want to kiss you and surprise you at the coffee shop and do all the cheesy things couples do." Phil leaned in and dropped a series of little, feather-light kisses to Dan's forehead. "What do you say," he whispered, "will you give me the chance?"

"Phil," Dan said, drilling his eyes shut. He could feel his insecurities rising again, just as illogical as usual, and just as self-depreciative. "I can't love you completely, like how you deserve. If we were to date—and god, do I want to date you—you'd have to give up sex because I'm sorry but I'm too sex repulsed to try and do anything with you, and I'd never be able to stand anything like an open relationship, and-"

"Dan, Dan, shhh," Phil said, starting to stroke Dan's cheek again. It was incredibly soothing, and helped settled some of Dan's racing thoughts. "I don't care. I don't care. I can live perfectly content with never having sex again for the rest of my life if I have you, Dan. You are a thousand times better than sex, alright? And you can love me completely even if you aren't sexually attracted to me. I don't need physical pleasure to be happy or be loved 'as I deserve' even if that's what your ex and parents told you when you came out. All you need is love to give, and I have a feeling that you have a lot of that from shutting yourself out for so long."

Their gazes were connected, and Dan didn't know if he was going to start crying or laughing—maybe both. Phil was smiling gently, his eyes so tender in their expression, and Dan wanted nothing more than to kiss this man, to kiss him and hug him and just hide them both away from the world to just be happy together.

So that's what Dan did.

Dan surged forward, wrapping his arms around Phil's shoulders and pulling him in, their mouths crashing together. Dan kissed him like he was a dying man and he was trying to commit the feeling of Phil's mouth to memory, and Phil returned the sentiment just as eagerly, carding his hands through Dan's hair and following every press of Dan's lips with his own.

God, why did Dan ever try and deny himself from falling in love with Phil? Why did he get so caught up in being scared of what happened in the past to enjoy the future? Why didn't he start kissing this man sooner?

Dan didn't know any answers to his questions, but fuck it didn't matter.

They broke away because they had started to run out of air and Dan brought his hands up to Phil's face, cupping it, and nodding, shaking his head up and down furiously, moisture shining in his eyes. He couldn't help it—he didn't remember the last time he had felt. So. Loved. And. Accepted.

"Yes, yes yes yes, Phil, god, I'd want nothing more," Dan whispered, chasing his own words with little kisses on Phil's cheeks, his nose, his forehead, everywhere.

Phil's entire face lit up like the fucking sky and a smile blinding enough to shadow the sun took over his face. He brought them back together, and this time their kiss was slow, both of them smiling into it, wrapped up in each other.

"Daniel Howell, you just made me the happiest man on this side of the Thames."

No matter how much Dan might not have wanted to, they had to disentangle themselves much sooner than preferable because Dan had to shower and get ready for work. He had already been let off the hook by Jaime once, and he refused to leave her hanging like that for a second day in a row. Plus, he needed the money desperately.

However, things were different than his normal routine. Because when he got out of the shower, Phil kissed him on the way in. Because Phil was standing in his kitchen, scrolling on his phone, in Dan's own clothes because Phil only had his Tesco's uniform and he had already slept in it last night. Because they had walked out together, Phil's hand snaking down to intertwine in Dan's within a block of leaving Dan's flat. Because Phil had gone out of his way to walk Dan to work even if it was in the opposite direction of his own flat. Because Phil kissed Dan sweetly on the lips before letting him go, promising to stop in later.

But as Dan walked in the shop, a million emotions swirling in his chest, threatening to burst, they settled, each one fluttering away until only one was left, making Dan's limbs feel light and warm, putting a dumbstruck smile on his face that he knew would end up lasting the whole day.

Dan was happy.

And he wouldn't change it for the world.

you were overwhelmed with just pure happiness

you were finally debuting!!!

you burst into tears and all your trainee friends were hugging you and encouraging you to go on stage

you walk to the stage trying to wipe your tears away

you make your speech sweet and short which just consisted of you thanking everyone that got you to debut

you make your way up to third place while hugging all the girls who you'll debut with

after you sat down in your seat everything was a blur

you cried and said hello and goodbye to the rest of the trainees

your family also came to congratulate you and it was soooo great to see them and you knew they were proud of you

rhymer comes along after you talked with your family and all the backstage footage was filmed

"i'm so proud of you, you made it third place, our only female BNM trainee" he said proudly

you were brimming from happiness from the whole evening

your heart quickened you were huge fans of your sunbaes

you trained with the boys for only a few months before they went off to produce 101

before you know it daehwi has an arm around you and says friendly and jokingly

you laughed softly making daehwi suddenly blush and his heart warm at the sound of it

you were trying to act all cool in front of your bias but it was reallyyyy hard

all you wanted to do was fan girl over him but you promised yourself to be professional

suddenly youngmin butts in and says "excuse daehwi he's on a bit of a sugar high"

"HEY! I AM NOT!!" he denied outraged

"you are and you would of been bouncing off the walls if donghyun didn't stop you" woojin interrupted

"w-well" daehwi started then just stopped and pouted

donghyun laughed softly at him and said "daehwi-ah you're acting like a child"

"thats cause he is one" youngmin smirked

"why is everyone bullying me?!!" daehwi whined

you watch amused knowing it's just friendly banter

and you couldn't help but admire the way daehwi just lifted everyone's moods

before you know it you ask trying to wind up the other boys "daehwi-ssi your hyungs are just too wound up would you like some chocolate?"

"HEY WE ARE NOT WOUND UP!!" woojin, youngmin and donghyun shout together

"well you guys are the ones shouting" you say smirking

"Y/N IS MY FAVOURITE FOREVER AND ALWAYS, i can't believe it she's talented, funny, nice and beautiful inside and out" daehwi nonchalantly said while instantly hugging you

you quickly reciprocated and you instantly relaxed

in daehwis arms you genuinely felt relaxed and cared for

something which was hard for you to feel with all the pressure to debut

and your heart suddenly quickened and you blushed a tomato red

"t-thank you daehwi-ssi" you muster out while handing him the chocolate bar

"don't call me daehwi-ssi wayyy too formal call me daehwi please" he says sweetly and you just nod while saying

"then call me y/n"

you hand him a chocolate bar and he accepts it gratefully then frowns "wait sorry y/n i can't eat this i'm on a diet"

"what diet??!!! daehwi you're too skinny already!!" donghyun exclaims worriedly

"well not necessarily a diet but i need to gain muscle manager hyungs said so. so chocolate doesn't help whatsoever with that" he says a bit upset

you frown at this and your heart breaks you want him to be able to eat whatever he wants not to be pressured into a diet

"no no no please eat the chocolate daehwi seriously you're absolutely perfect in my eyes and in the eyes of all your fans you don't need to gain or lose weight at all" you plead softly

daehwi's heart warms at your caring sentiment and he knows it's secretly true

"thank you it means a lot" he says sweetly back at you giving you the nicest smile you've ever seen

it literally just instantly makes you feel happy

so he opens and eats the chocolate bar which you happily smile at and all daehwi could think was

"if i can ever make her smile like that again i better do it"

the boys stay for a bit longer and congratulate you again before leaving

you were still in awe you met one of your favourite groups of all time

and all of them knew of your existence and talked to you

you couldn't help but think of daehwi

his sweet smile and his adorable and hilarious personality he was also sooo good looking

you were disappointed you probably won't talk to him again for months

for the rest of the night you couldn't help but think of daehwi

you were crestfallen this scandal could affect the debut of the group and daehwi and you

you knew your crush on him was big and you thought you had no chance whatsoever but apparently you did!!

daehwi blushed and said your name

making you squeal a little again he then continued by saying

then his brain had a brain fart and he was like

your heart melted so quickly you couldn't believe that actually happened you dropped your phone

the video ended and you really weren't bothered reading the comments

all you could think was daehwi asked you out ON A BLOODY BROADCAST!!

but you were happy even if you had to deal with all the hate

you were trying to think of all the ways you could reply back

and just as you were your phone dinged

"y/n i'm sure your probably have seen the video and i'm so so sorry about the whole mess i made"

you automatically knew it was daehwi

you suddenly got a bit excited at the fact he's texting you but snapped out of it but before you could reply he sent another text

"but every word i saw was true and this

you already knew what he was going to ask you and your breathing got more ragged and your heart started beating a million miles an hour and just as you thought you were going to have a heart attack your phone dinged again

and your heart basically bursted in happiness seeing the question

and daehwi also did a happy dance at his dorm and screamed "SHE SAID YESS!!"

and all the guys came into his room and did a group hug/huddle and were squealing like little girls and were bouncing up down

you knew you had to sleep since you had to get up in two hours so you quickly type

your heart warms again at his sweet text and you reply back quickly before turning off your phone and having the best two hour sleep/nap of your life

these texts resulted into a lot of squealing more bouncing up and down and ALOT of cringing from the guys

but daehwi really did sleep thinking of you

and in a few months time you were cuddled up with him at the dorm

and before both of you could sleep

you felt a peck on your head and a whisper in your ear

i’m going on a positing spree in like 30 minutes i’m posting daniel prince pt 3 as well and then i get to start writing my angst and my enemies to lovers the last few days i’ve been struggling with how my blog has like gone down and like even thought of not doing stuff but i decided i should work through it and keep pushing

and even after uploading 8 videos, on average you’d only get 20-30 views

until one day you were at a convenience store

and you were just casually choosing your favourite sandwich and what to get

until you felt a tap on your shoulder and you were met with this cute boy who was smiling brightly and his hands crossed together nervously in front of him

“y-yeah?..”

“you’re Y/N right? i love watching your short videos!! especially your vlogs haha, they’re so cute”

and you were so shookt because wow,, someone actually notices you???

and after that you’d checked your instagram and he’d directed message you and you noticed that he’d been following you for quite a while

and yall chatted and bOOM

soon enough he’s your boyfriend- after months of chatting and getting to know each other better, he slowly appeared on your channel too

and as time passed you got more familiar with youtube and you were more popular now

and many fans LOVE your relationship with haechan because he’s always stealing the camera to film you be it pranks or just vlogs

but the challenge was suggested by haechan himself

and obviously you agreed because he seemed so excited to do it

BTS Highlight Reel Theory

I am piled with homework and taunted with lack of sleep. So this is gonna be a short and sweet theory (I will update this once i have more time & sleep)

Here we go: The girls act as parallel/foil/triggers to the BTS members and their fate.

Jin The girl drops the diary. Seems familiar? Remember the HYYH note Jin wrote ? Jin writes a diary and this triggers him to think of his past.

The bar states: I will not let you get trapped.

Some moments (The most beautiful moment in life) become more vivid with passage of time. Yesterday’s many encounters and goodbye exist for this moment. Every alley and crossroad i walked through (troubles and issue in i need you and run and temptation in bst) were all meant to lead me to this very place.(Death) That kind of moment is what i mean.

He reminisces his past due to the diary and finally the bar lifted, he is willing to put down his memories and head for the nether worlds peacefully.

Suga can stop living aimlessly but he is still running away from reality, he merely replaces getting addicted to cigarette to candy.

He has always been like this. 1. Getting Jimin to run away from reality by blindfolding him.

2. Giving jungkook lollipop to run away from reality. > If you can’t face reality, he cannot love himself, he is guilty towards his friends and thus explains his dull and looking down poster; Don’t get close, you will be unhappy.

J-hope (My heart hurts okay ) The girl reminds him of his mother. Appearance wise- she wishes him birthday but she is being a hypocrite. 1. She beckons Jimin to come > She left hoseok for Jimin, like how his mother left him

2. She wishes him birthday but left him there, at first happy and now sorrow

Namjoon The girl triggers him at similar place where he was with taehyung in run. Same like her, taehyung run/walk away from him. ( Reflection theory : liar & hyyh note: he held tae for Jin to punch him) So he only watches taehyung from behind, he knew everything that’s going on. But with the lollipop symbol, he too is guilty of running away from harsh reality.

Jimin He was always in a “Lie” He believes his never good enough. He masked himself in the shadow of J-hope explains the unit poster; J-hope shines because Jimin is the darkness. You cannot shine without darkness.

Jimin don’t love himself.

Taehyung The girl is the mirror of him. Supermarket context (Bts for you) Rebellious; Social Stigma He helps her because he didn’t want her to commit a crime, because he knew the stigma that comes with being a criminal. If he love himself, he would not be worried of the social stigma but he couldn’t therefore, he regrets. If i haven’t make that decision. Would Namjoon not have left him alone?

Jungkook The girl was his support. or rather substitute for Yoongi.

He was agitated, frustrated of his legs but the girl taught him to stop, accept himself.

His unit photo with Yoongi he was upset, yet in his solo poster he was cheerful as it was that day he followed his heart, he accepts reality and himself.

Summary: It’s about getting over their past, go on with their separate ways, learn to accept their flaws.
