#i am so grateful for luffy and the strawhats and one piece

Alright , but the soft moments with Strawhats were actually really cute. I still read it because It really does shows Strawhats like physical touch.
But what about deep conversation? Not like in the interrogation way but a talk where they actually or kinda reveal the reason being why they treasure Y/n so much?
Like Y/n one day asked "If you don't want me to not only leave but to do anything because it might be dangerous for me - what am I good for?"
it's just my thought but I think they either will not believe that Y/n thinks that they are not worthy of being here OR they will be taken off guard that they feel this way after everything they went through with them.
But I really want to hear your own opinion on this, of course if you want to.
Have a great day as well.
Why am I here? (Yandere Strawhats x Isekai reader)
Tumblr media
I really like this idea, but I didn't know If you wanted an entire piece or scenarios for each character. I decided to do a whole fic, so if this isn't what you wanted, I apologize. (Also thank you so much for 300 followers).
You can't help but wonder what your purpose is most days.
The Strawhats, your friends, are very protective of you, even after months of being with them and getting used to their world. You grateful for them, but you wonder what caused their behavior.
When you first appeared in this world, they were nice. They let you say on their ship, eat their food, and even promised to take you to a nice island until you found a way back home. None of their actions were strange, especially compared to how they act now. They were pretty normal, some of them even standoffish. One day though, that all changed, and they became the people you know now.
Suddenly, Zoro went from basically ignoring your whole existence to showing off to you during training. Sanji began to make bigger and fuller meals, always insisting you eat more until you could barely even eat another bite. Usopp was making strange gadgets you could fill you time with, Chopper was worrying over your every move, Nami was spending her hard-earned money on you, and even Robin was suddenly offering to lend you some her more precious books just so you two could talk about them together.
But the strangest change of all was Luffy.
Luffy was always happy go lucky, that's just in his nature. Even before, he was nice to you. He was always quick to protect you, he asked for your opinion on things, and would goof off just to make you laugh.
When Luffy changed, he became strangely more serious. He took your safety more seriously, ordering the others to value your safety among all others. Suddenly, it's like he became your shadow, never leaving your side even for a second, and he wanted to be involved in everything you did.
With their quick shift in behavior, your goal of going home slowly and slowly faded away into nothingness.
Even though, you couldn't help but feel as though you owed them something. They helped you when most likely, no one else wouldn't. They gave you a home and kept you safe from the world around you. So of course, it's not strange to think you owe them something. Whenever you try and help though, it quickly struck down, them claiming that you've done enough already.
But what have you done? You haven't partaken in any feats of bravery, you haven't liberated countries, you haven't saved anyone. You time here amounts to nothing in comparison to them. So, what have you done?
It doesn't help that they're so restrictive on what you do, prohibiting you from living the ship unless you're with one of them. So even if you want to help them in battle, you swept away and locked safety in one of the rooms on the Going Merry before you had the chance.
Your mind was filled with these thoughts constantly. Nothing justified you being here, and as the days went on and you grew closer to the strawhats, you became a shell of yourself.
"(Y/N)? Are you okay?" You could hear someone's voice, but you couldn't tell who it was. You were zoned out, and after shaking your thoughts away, you could see you were leaning on the railing of the front deck. You slowly turned towards the voice, Sanji right next to you, lighting a cigarette right next to you. He stared down next to you, his gaze making you strangely embarrassed.
"Yeah, I guess." You answer. Sanji raises his brow, letting the cigarette dangle from his lips.
"You guess?" He questioned. You gave a small sigh, your eyes locked on the dark blue ocean so you could avoid Sanji's accusing eyes. You refused to answer, the silence awkward and thick, but you would rather deal with the uncomfortable situation than voice your concerns to him. You can smell the slight hint of ash coming from Sanji's direction, and you had to suppress a cough, looking away from him in order to keep it down. At the action, Sanji lets out a gruff, taking the cigarette out of his mouth and dangling it between his pointer and middle finger, the ashes falling into the abyss that was the ocean below him. He looks over at you, the back of your head being the only thing he sees, and he lets out small breath.
"Look, you don't have to talk to me if you don't want to." He voices calmly and you can feel his understanding gaze on you. "But it's never going to get better if you don't talk to one of us." He explains, watching as you give a curt nod and stumble away.
Sanji doesn't know how to feel. You've been acting weird for a while, something he assumed to be caused by stress due to your unfamiliar surroundings. But that didn't make sense. You've been here for a while; you should've warmed up to them by now. That's what Robin said would happen. If they played nice and didn't completely suffocate you with their need to protect you, you would be happy. So, what's happening? Sanji took a puff of his cigarette, pondering the situation intensely. Maybe you haven't been eating enough? That can be it, he and Chopper make sure you're as healthy as possible. Maybe you're lonely, they have been spending more time exploring islands lately, and maybe you feel neglected. Sanji wasn't too sure though, and as he took one final puff, he thought that he might pay a visit to his captain.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The stars always brought you comfort, they were one of the few things that wasn't completely different from your world. You had a desire to learn all the constellations that existed in this world, even if that meant spending a little more time here.
Your feet dangled off the edge of the ship, the ocean even darker than before. When you first arrived, the ocean was the thing that scared you the most. As you spent more time in this unfamiliar land however, you began to fear people more than the environment around you, and soon the ocean became one of your closest friends.
You fit of existentialism was broken as you felt strong arms wrap around you. You knew it had to be Luffy, no one was nearly as clingy as him. You could feel him snuggle into your back, the tickling of his hairs almost getting a laugh out of you.
Quickly, Luffy detected himself from your back, sitting next to you on the railing cross legged. You could feel his eyes on you, but for a while he kept quiet as you continued to gaze at the stars.
"Why are you so up this late?" Luffy asked randomly, receiving a small shrug from you. Luffy smile morphed to a frown, pouting like a child at you answer. He rested his head on his hand, his arm propped up on his thigh. Looking at you with at you with questioning eyes, he continued. "What's up with you." His words weren't particularly harsh, but they did hurt slightly. In a second, you face went from the sky above back to the ocean below, entranced by the water once again. You didn't have a smart answer, the worlds tumbling out of you involuntarily.
"I-I don't...it's...it's nothing." You stumble, and Luffy looked unconvinced. This was one of the few times when you were actually intimidated. Your eyes dart around, trying to find the right words to say.
"Why am I here?" It was random, and the words caused Luffy's back to straighten. You continued before he could say anything. "I just mean..." You sigh, trying to ignore his eye on you. "I serve no purpose. I'm not strong, I'm not brave, I'm not fit for this world. But for some reason, I'm here, and I don't know why." If felt strangely nice to voice this to Luffy, even if it meant being embarrassed for life.
"That's not true." Luffy said after a minute.
"Huh?"
"You serve a purpose." Luffy said like it was the most obvious thing in the world, his head tilting to the side like a confused child. You furrowed your brow at him, your mouth agape.
"What do you mean?! I'm the weakest one here!" Your voice was somewhat loud, but you were consumed by pent up frustration and didn't care.
Luffy smiled at your frustration. "You make us happy." Your breath was caught in your throat, and you could feel tears in your eyes as Luffy gave you a gentle hug. You quickly reciprocated.
"That's not much though." Your voice was weak, small.
Luffy simply hugged you tighter. "You don't have to be anything more. Just you is enough." He whispered. Hot tears streamed down you face as you buried your face in Luffy's shoulder. The smile on his face never left as he comforted you.
"You make us happy, so we protect you." He explained as you began to calm down. Slowly, you moved away from Luffy, his arms still wrapped around you and his smile still covering his face.
"We don't expect anything else from you other than, well, you." He giggled at his own words. "It doesn't matter if you aren't strong or brave. What matters is that you're our friend. What matters is that you're happy. What matters is that you're here, with us." He said, getting a small smile at you. Slowly, you went back to looking at the stars, you head resting on Luffy's shoulder as you began to drift off to sleep.
Luffy knew for a while why you were acting weird, but he wanted you to come to him. He wanted you to be open with him. He wanted you to trust him.
If you asked Luffy why he, why any of them, valued you so much, they would respond with simply "They're my friend." That was obvious to anyone. But the harsh looks at passerby's, the threats to people who simply talked to you, that couldn't be explained away as friendly behavior. What it was deep down, was possessiveness. Pirates are possessive by nature, and what they value most in the world, is their treasure.
Luffy looked down at you once more, you soft snores filling the air around you two. He let out a peaceful sigh, feeling calm at your restful state. Luffy knew for a while that you were his treasure and like a good captain, he would do whatever he could to protect you.

Chopper’s Parents
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I started watching One Piece last year but then stopped cause i got busy, but lately I’ve been watching again cause i saw this scene (my phone wallpaper) and hereby promised i won’t change my wallpaper unless I reach that episode (ep.982)
I just finished Thriller Bark (im at ep.390) and i cant stop shipping Zorobin hahaha, since i know about the other characters Robin and Zoro might end up with, i dont really mind anymore if they end up or not cause that’s the point in shipping -you don’t know the inevitable. But they’ll always be Chopper’s parents to me 🥺
AHH ALSO for the past few days, when i look at my wallpaper i keep on thinking that the way Robin has one eye open reminded me of another character lol i just realized this morning that it was Zoro yohohoohohohohoho
(and somebody on twitter mentioned this from the latest manga AHHHHHHH GOOD BOY, thank you Oda. I gotta hurry up with the anime so that i can read the manga!!)
: but all ships aside, i love one piece. i wish i watched/read it sooner but i hope i’ll be able to catch up before the manga ends. i truly am grateful to the characters, especially to luffy. i hope one day i’ll get a chance to have a group of friends like the strawhats or even be as optimistic and determined as luffy is with his dream. thank you oda, you truly deserve all the recognition you are getting and im also glad the netflix live action is being favored by many. THANK YOUUUUUU!!!!

One piece ASL x  reader [tw: SH]

For anyone that struggles with any kind of self harm. I don’t care what kind it is this is for you. Your pain is valid and take care of yourself <3 Harming is never the answer ! Here some comfort headcanons.
S A B O
Whenever you get an urge and call for him, he puts you on his lap and hugs you till you calm down.
Gently takes your hands in his so you’re not tempted to do anything stupid.
Distracts you by caressing your hair softly and singing you a song. Yes, he doesn’t like to sing a lot, but he would do it for you. He does that while gently rocking you against his chest to calm you down.
A lot of “Shhh” and soft whispering to calm you down. “Everything is going to be okay” he would say.
He will spend the whole evening/day with you. If he has something scheduled, he would leave it for some other day.
You are his priority.
Reads a book for you, or anything you like.
Reassures you by telling you how beautiful and precious you are.
Would suggest taking a bath together. That will make you immediately feel better.
He would encourage you to go to therapy. He would even schedule for it and go with you.
He wouldn’t ask about what is making you feel bad. He knows that it could be triggering for you in that state. He just does his best to distract you from your urges to harm.
Calls you a good girl after you fall asleep~
Tumblr media
A C E
When he discovers that you self harm, it just breaks his heart. He can’t help but feel a bit guilty.
How could he not see it ? How could he let you suffer this much?
He would ruffle your hair and kiss your visible or invisible wounds.
He would probably braid your hair. (I mean, I can’t help but think that Ace is good at braiding hair...haha.)
He would block you from doing anything by hugging you so tight.
Would also propose to do some breathing exercises. He sits in front of you and breathes deeply. You just have to follow the pace of his breathing.
Ace would suggest going to bed earlier so you can catch up on sleep and cuddle. He would hug you tight and keep you warm, this man is a human heater.
“I am glad that you are alive (Y/N). It breaks my heart to see you in pain. I am so thankful that you are a part of my life.”
Tells you a lot of jokes. You would be probably in a depressed mood, however, his constant effort to cheer you up by telling you stupid jokes would make you laugh.
“- (Y/N), I don’t want you to hurt my girlfriend ever again ! ‘kay ?”
Now you just promised. Don’t do it. Ever. Again.
Tumblr media
L U F F Y
Luffy doesn’t understand at first. Why would you do such a thing ?
Then, he realizes that it means that you are in a lot of pain, inside, and that physical pain relieves you.
He doesn’t know what to do, however, he would spend the whole evening with you, trying to cheer you up.
He would put his strawhat on your head, giving you some comfort.
He would also share his meat with you ! (if you want)
Would help distracting you by suggesting playing some kind of video game together.
He would encourage you to open up to him and search for the reason behind your behavior. If it’s self-loathing, he will remind you of your worth in a simple and cheerful way.
“How come you feel such things ? You’re just amazing !”
Would try to cheer you up by making stupid faces. It works every.single.time.
If it’s too hard to stop you from self harming, he would go extreme and just tie you on the bed...Well...Yes...It’s for your own good. You will actually be grateful later.
He will of course stay there with you until you calm down.
“You will always have me” - he reminds you. You are not lonely and will never be lonely with this guy !

MHA Theory: Is a TodoDeku Ending Possible?
Okay, before BakuDeku or OchaDeku or other shippers go up in arms against me, I am not an avid shipper. The idea of shipping was cute and I adored it until I saw what hardcore shipping does to a fandom community, so I don’t ship as much as I used to. I’m looking into this as a fan of the series, not as a shipper.
That being said, this is only a theory. A My Hero Academia Theory! .... So, there is a likely chance that it won’t happen, especially since my argument that it could happen is relatively weak (imo), making it even less likely.
Anyways, let’s get to it, shall we? Warning, this theory may contain spoilers for endings of Bleach, Naruto, and maybe Fairy Tail.
But, please. Be civil. This isn’t a place to bash other ships. All ships is valid...except for those that are gross. You guys know what I mean.
In a lot of shounen anime, there’s usually a love interest for the main protagonist of the story, the main heroine. At the end of the story, they get together. Two examples are Ichigo and Orihime in Bleach, Naruto and Hinata in...Naruto, and Natsu and Lucy in Fairy Tail.
Of these great anime, One Piece is probably one of the few anime that is not going to follow this formula because a) Oda came out and said that none of the Strawhats are gonna be romantically involved with each other, and B) Luffy isn’t doesn’t seem to care much for such relationships.
(Let me say that don’t let this deter you from doing fanworks of Luffy x Nami or Sanji x Robin or any ships)
One of the things MHA is amazing with is deconstructing or even out right averting common shounen tropes. I’ll probably make a post about this in a later future.
Another thing MHA is great with showing is that we get to see men not being afraid of showing emotions
Tumblr media Tumblr media
badass women
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and
Tumblr media
Basically, MHA does its hardest to divert.
So, what if the series ends with not a heteronormative couple?
Don’t get me wrong. OchaDeku is flippin’ adorable and it must be protected and Ochako is just as precious as Izuku.
Tumblr media
I mean, yeah, Izuku still gets flustered around Ochako and the girl was shown that she has started to developed feelings for him and (for manga readers) chapter 325!
But, for the sake of this theory, it’s also kinda generic shounen. An easy argument against this is that Izuku being flustered doesn’t equal romantic feelings and you could be right. Also, keep in mind that Izuku barely had friends growing and when he first met Ochako, he was in awe that he talked to a girl.
Tumblr media
By this logic, Izuku is just being anxious about him being around girls, a typical nerd boy reaction. He does the same when Hatsume got into his personal space.
Tumblr media
So, would it being interesting for TodoDeku to happen?
Tumblr media
Izuku helped Todoroki so much during the Sports Festival and Todoroki was indeed grateful for that. And Izuku continued to support Todoroki whenever he has an issue and Todoroki would do the same for Izuku.
I’m sure some would ask about BakuDeku because of...the whole damn story! Lol!
Tumblr media
And I see your point! But, wouldn’t that be a bit cliched too? I’ll come out and say that I’m not a fan of the Childhood Romance cliché.
Really though, at the end of the day, whatever happens is up to Horikoshi. This is his story that he is writing. For all we know, Izuku may not end up with...anybody! Whatever happens - OchaDeku or whatever - I’m cool with it.
Maybe, I’ll make a post about ships and how the ships could work. Really, what was fun about ships was the potential of the relationships.

One Piece 1000 Logs Thoughts/Moments of Cherishing - 1000+ word count for a masterpiece
Tumblr media
I usually don't post stuff like these BUT One Piece took my heart and made me emotional in many ways after reaching the 1000th episode
The very first time I notice One Piece are from many posts about it, I don't pay attention to any of the posts back then. But, not until a friend of mine he said that I should watch One Piece as it was worth it
Episode 1; slightly had made me piqued my interest back then, I never had watch any characters as a pirate or have devil fruits so I was confused by Luffy's body, I even thought that devil fruits are very rare and only Luffy has eaten it XD
Being experienced to Naruto (which I had watched before One Piece), because of the old quality of drawing back then, I was used to the old animations considering it's made <2010's
My first love or the character whom I fell inlove first was Shanks! I just love his funny and comforting personality so much, Actually I had or coincidentally watched Episode 1 of One Piece was when it's Shanks birthday so I was definitely in shocked
As time and episodes goes by, I had always been excited and learning many information's and adventure Luffy are getting, I thought that maybe even if Luffy had only 10 crew members he and his teammates will go stronger. And I was correct
Seeing each of them backstory had made me cried so much on how much pain they experiencing through the past, Especially Sanji's as because on how his father and sibling treated him as such
In Marineford, I always believe in Luffy that he can save Ace, but it shocked me when he was killed. “Not everything will always be accomplished” by anonymous. I was left stunned, wide agaped when hearing Ace's last wishes and words. He can't even see his little brother becoming the King of Pirates
The best arc for me in the whole One Piece for me might be Dressrosa, first off is because of Corazon; even if he and Law aren't biologically or blood related he still treats Law as his son and it warms me up so much—He even protected the poor boy until he died by the hands of his brother, Doflamingo
On this episode, we had discovered so many things about them. They, The Strawhat Pirates and the Whole One Piece character's will always be in my heart. I knew Luffy can beat Kaido and once he do he will be more closer in becoming what he achieved of
But of course, Everything will always come to an end. But hopefully not yet and we can experience once more different feelings with them
I am grateful to Eiichiro Oda for making a masterpiece, Some people are still hesitating if they should watch the anime as because it's long. And I must tell you, you won't regret it at all after you finished the 1000 episodes you would feel like it's not enough. And that's how we feel too as a long time One Piece fan, I'm grateful to had met this amazing one piece community that lies in Tumblr. I'm happy I had met you all and One Piece.
One Piece will always be here with me even when the time comes. Someday, If ever One Piece are finally gone IT won't be gone or vanish forever. It's always will be marked in out minds
I had fallen inlove for many of these characters and their dedication towards something they want to achieve in the future
The rivalry between Kid, Law, and Luffy is something I fancy or like. They despite being enemies they still trust each other and knew after their alliance they would be back becoming an enemy.
[SPOILERS!! I'm worried about Sanji's wellbeing and hoped he will be fine by the end of Onigashima, Despite wanting to be killed and asked that to Zoro for a favor I don't think Zoro will do it—Even if he hates Sanji he's still a nakama and something Luffy doesn't want to happen.]
I laughed many times with them and their good and gold moments.
As I watch the One Piece Episode 1000 I'm happy to able to reach the impossible along with you all and the crew. Everything Luffy did and his crew are just in whole 2 years. I'm excited to know what will he and his crew will do more for the following episode.
When the “We Are” Re animated version play I smiled and sense of great adreline rushed on me. It had been long since I last feel something excitement like this. The opening change a lot
But even if it change there's one thing I noticed about it being played, It's not just about reminding the episodes back then, but to tell us that we will restart. That we are all back to Episode 1 after Luffy had beaten Kaido and more ferocious enemies will come after them especially the new marines
I hope this will last forever but it won't, I'm ready to accept the fact that every episode/chapter we take the closer we are to the end. Thank you once more Luffy snd your crew for bringing me so much memories to always remember. I'm indebt to you forever
And for the last time I love their goals. Luffy wanting to become a Pirate King, Zoro as the greatest swordsman but In order to become one he must defeat Mihawk, Sanji who dream to find the All Blue
Nami who wants to travel across the whole world and draw the whole One Piece Map, Usopp being the greatest man in the sea, Chopper who wants to be a great doctor, Franky who wants to build the best ship, Brook who wants to meet Laboon once more, Robin who wants to be free like everyone else—and Jimbei the newest recruit he wants humans to become and live the same ranking as the fishmans

I think there is a time in our existence, where most of us will come looking for what we are lacking in our lives in stories and in fiction.
It has been 5 years since I started One Piece and met Luffy. I thank him for having taught me about valuing myself, my dreams and my freedom. About encouraging me to find friends and a family. About reminding me I would not stay alone forever.
I have grown since, learned much and even found new horizons. And I have my companions supporting me like the strawhats do
So, Happy Birthday my King, light of my life and Ocean of my dreams. I am grateful for you Luffy-san <3

we’re running against the wind
[Part two of my One Piece Wing AU, this time focusing on the Strawhats and their histories. Read it on AO3 here!] [Part One]
“I can’t fly,” Kuina told him, one warm and dusky night, sitting on the porch step and staring down at the grass. Arms wrapped around bony knees, bruised and grass-stained. “Did you know that?”
Zoro blinked, and sat down beside her, baffled for a moment. “What do you mean? Cause your wings haven’t grown out yet?”
She sighed, heavy and tired, and stretched one wing out at her side. It was simple, plain black, small for her age. “You know what a rail is?”
“A rail?”
“It’s a kind of bird. The kind I am. They live on the ground,” Kuina said, staring down at the grass between her scuffed shoes. “They don’t fly. They’re no good for it. Their wings are too small. Even if they try, they can never get too far off the ground.”
She shot him a sideways look, and halfheartedly tugged on one of his feathers. His wings were still growing, but already much larger than hers, big and brown, almost gold in the sunlight. Eagle wings. Wings meant to soar.
“You’re lucky, Zoro,” she said, looking up at him with a terribly sad half-smile on her face that he never, ever wanted to see again. “Someday, you’re going to fly.”
Zoro woke up with her voice still ringing in her head.
Consciousness hit him with an unpleasant jolt, and he had half a second to process the dusty courtyard- not Shimotsuki dojo- before a half-dozen different varieties of discomfort hit him all at once.
The hunger pains were practically screaming in the back of his mind, and he was parched from dehydration. He was half-numb from the ropes digging into his skin, cutting off blood circulation. He shifted, trying to prop himself up as best he could, and grit his teeth against the sharp, stabbing pain of blood starting to flow again.
As soon as he moved, his wings pulsed with pain, and he had to bite back a yell. They’d been lashed roughly to the pole at his back at an uncomfortable angle that had started as barely tolerable and progressed, over the course of the days, to maddening. The dusty ground all around him was scattered with fallen dusty gold feathers, both those that had been pulled loose by the ropes and those that had shed on their own as starvation had taken its toll.
It was fine, though. What was a few feathers lost? It wasn’t like he was going to die here. It wasn’t like he could.
He had a promise to keep, after all.
-
Arlong never clipped Nami’s wings. They were too useful for quick getaways. To him, they were just some of the features that made her such a valuable tool, such a clever, profitable little thief. So, no, he never damaged her wings.
But he loved to remind her that he could.
If she disobeyed, if she tried to run away- well, fishmen were so strong, and wings were so fragile. She learned to bear the fear, though she always kept her wings folded close and tight to her back whenever she walked through Arlong Park. If there was one thing she could be grateful for, at least, it was that he never thought to threaten to hurt Nojiko’s wings instead.
She could still hear the crunch of Bellemere’s wingbones when Arlong had stomped on them.
Fishmen didn’t have wings. It made sense- what sure would undersea creatures have for them? But she couldn’t help but suspect, every now and then, that Arlong was envious. He could rule their towns and beat them into the ground and proclaim himself and his brethren superior over humans in every way- but he would never, ever fly. That was something Nami would always hold over him.
Nami’s wings were simple at first glance- black, with splotches of bright white at the shoulders and tips- but under the sunlight, the black glittered, turning to dark iridescent bluish-green. They looked nothing like Bellemere’s wide, long-feathered osprey wings had.
“Would you cut it out?” she snapped, one wing stretching out to swat Luffy’s curious hands away from the straw hat resting in her lap.
She’d known him for more than a day now, but she still couldn’t really make up her mind on her temporary captain. He was annoying, but good-hearted, but stupid, but honest- and she’d never seen wings like his either. They were bright red and featherless, looking more bat than bird. Overall, he was a frustrating enigma, for how open he was.
Not that it mattered, really. She’d be parting ways with them soon enough.
“Are you done yet?” he asked insistently, leaning around her shoulder to peer at the mostly-repaired hat cradled in her hands. The wide, ugly knife cuts Buggy had left in the golden straw were mostly hidden now, though you could still see the scars if you knew to look- the replacement straw she’d had to use in places was brighter and cleaner than the worn, aged material of the rest of the hat.
She wondered idly just how old this stupid hat was. There were other repairs worked into the straw here and there, some more recent and some much older, hand-stitched with varying levels of neatness and expertise.
“Nearly,” she said, not for the first time. “Be patient.”
The sun caught on the mended straw, and all of a sudden she remembered a question she’d wanted to ask. “Hey, Luffy,” she said before his attention could drift. “What’s with this feather?”
She’d noticed it when they’d first met, and wondered at it. It was tucked into the red ribbon that ran around the hat, and when she’d taken the hat to repair it and gotten a closer look, she’d noticed that it was carefully stitched into place. It was striped black and sapphire blue, with a tiny splash of white at the tip.
“Oh!” Luffy said. “That’s Sabo’s!”
Nami blinked. “Sabo?” she repeated.
“My brother!” Luffy said.
Zoro blinked one eye open from where he’d been napping on one of the little boat’s benches, lifting his head. “You’ve got a brother?” he asked.
“There’s more of you?” Nami said at the same time.
Luffy snickered. “I’ve got two big brothers!” he explained. “They both set out to sea before me, though. Sabo first, and then Ace second. Sabo had bluejay wings. Yours kinda remind me of them, Nami!”
Had, Nami thought, and thought of Nojiko- solid blue wings, tipped with black. Thought about the osprey feather tucked away in the very back of her dresser in Cocoyashi. “Yeah?”
“Yeah!” Luffy said. “They’re really pretty! And glittery and blue, like the ocean!”
“Oh,” Nami said. “...Thanks.”
...So maybe she liked her temporary captain, just a little. It wouldn’t change anything, in the end.
-
Usopp lied about his wings. He kept them tucked close to his back, and whenever someone asked, he’d come up with a new species, something big and intimidating. Hawk, eagle, falcon- something flashy, impressive, worthy of a brave warrior of the sea.
Of course, none of those were true. (Nothing he said ever was.) Everyone in the village knew it, too- they’d known him since he was a kid, after all. The truth he never wanted to admit was that his wings were unremarkable, just like him. Plain black, medium size, with a thick stripe of white running through the middle of each. He only ever opened them when he was with his friends, or with Kaya.
The first time she’d seen his wings was when he threw his arms open too wide when telling a story, caught up in the fantasy inside his head, and unbalanced himself from his perch on the tree outside her window. They’d snapped open on instinct to break his fall and let him catch himself midair, and he’d flapped back up to her window to see her beaming.
“Look,” she’d said, and stretched her own wings open- big beautiful crane wings, wide and white but with a thick band of black on the inside of each. Just the opposite of his. “We match!”
Over time, Kaya’s sickness had taken its toll on her wings, just as on the rest of her. She was always shedding drifts of feathers, leaving her wings looking scrawny and patchy. They were beautiful nonetheless, though, wide and graceful, the surviving feathers bright white.
“Someday,” he told her, “We’ll go flying, once you’re better and your feathers grow back. And I’ll show you the island where everything is made out of candy, and the trees talk to you!”
She laughed into her hands, wings curling around her. “Do they?”
“They do!” Usopp confirmed, nodding emphatically. “And they sing, too. But only for kind-hearted girls with white wings. So if we went there, they’d sing for you for sure!”
She smiled, big and warm and honest. “That sounds lovely, Usopp!”
Usopp grinned back.
A couple days later, the pirates came.
And it was sudden and violent and terrifying, and Klahadore’s massive black vulture wings seemed to block out the sky, and Usopp was sure a dozen times over that he was going to die, but-
But he didn’t.
By the time it was all over and it was time to set sail, Kaya’s wings were already looking healthier.
-
“Kid,” the old man had said, the first day on the rock, voice gruff and thick from coughing up seawater. “You still alive?”
Sanji didn’t say anything, pulling skinny knees to his chest and glaring over the top of them at the old man’s back. The old man had a long piece of driftwood balanced over his knees, and was methodically shredding his shirt into long strips. One of his wings was awkwardly bent in a way that made Sanji cringe to look at. The pain must have been terrible, but the old man’s voice didn’t even shake.
“C’mere. I need your help with something.”
Sanji didn’t move. “What?” he asked, and almost winced at the croak of his own voice.
“Can’t reach my wing. Busted it against the rocks, and if I don’t set it now it won’t heal right.”
“So?” Sanji muttered sullenly. “What do I care?”
“You stupid, brat?” the old man asked tiredly, and didn’t even give Sanji time to bristle before he continued, “Your wings ain’t big enough to reach land yet, but you’re little enough to carry. If my wing heals right, I can get us both off this rock. Hopefully before we starve to death.”
“...How do I know you won’t leave me?” Sanji had asked suspiciously.
The old man looked at him askance over his shoulder, holding himself stiffly so as not to jar his injured wing. “Shit, kid, I might be a pirate, but I’m not a monster. You think I’d just ditch a little kid to die?”
Sani blinked. Oh.
(It had made Judge so, so angry, that Sanji was the only one of his brothers with wings. It was an embarrassment, an infuriation, that the failure could fly unassisted when the perfect sons could not. It was why he’d been locked away, in a cell where he could never see the sky, where there was no hope at all of flight.)
He inched his way across the craggy stone to the old man, lips pressed tight. He took the stick of driftwood and makeshift bandages and quietly set to work, following the old man’s terse instructions. He wasn’t used to being on this end of it. Normally it was Reiju bandaging his injuries, setting his sprains and broken bones.
(“You deserve to fly,” she’d said through desperate tears as she shoved him towards the ship, grey-and-violet wings pulled close to her back. “Go!”)
One he had the last clumsy knot tied, the old man gave him some of the food- so little- and they split to wait. For the old man’s broken bones to heal, or for a ship to come. Whichever came first.
And they’d waited, and waited, and waited.
After the third week, Sanji had started to lose feathers. After the makeshift shelter he’d managed to scrounge together fell apart, his wings provided the only protection from the elements. He huddled behind their shade as the weeks crawled by, agonizingly slowly.
Fallen black and white feathers littered the stone around him by the time desperation drove him to curl shaking fingers around a knife, and drag himself to the other side of the island, and discover the terrible truth. The knife clattered to the stone, and Sanji collapsed along with it.
It was twenty more days before the old man was well enough to fly. Sanji was half-unconscious with delirium by then, and all he knew of the flight was hunger, and wind, and endless, endless blue. The ocean below, and the cloudless sky above, and nothing at all between.
It never did quite leave his mind.
“Have you ever heard,” he said, leaning against the railing and turning to look at the idiot in the straw hat, “of the All Blue?”
-
Chopper had never had wings.
It was just another reason he knew he’d never fit in. No matter how human he could make himself look, he would never have wings, and that would always give him away.
He did know how to treat them, though. Of course he did. A great doctor needed to know those sorts of things. Doctorine had taught him- about wing breaks and sprains, the sort of injuries that could be crippling and the ones where the patient might fly again, her own grey parrot wings flaring dramatically whenever she made a point.
At the moment, Doctorine was leaning over the unconscious bodies of their three newest patients- the blonde man with the back injury, the girl with the fever, and the black-haired boy.
“Let’s see here,” she hummed. “Secretarybird, common magpie, and- hm.”
Chopper blinked up at her, intrigued by her sudden silence. Her expression was hard to read. “Doctorine? Is it about that boy’s wings? I saw they were different, and he hasn’t got feathers, is that normal for humans? Is he sick?”
“Not normal,” she agreed absently. “But not unprecedented, either.” She chuckled. “It’s been some time since I last met a D.”
“A… huh?”
Doctorine waved it off. “Oh, nothing. Get him to a warm room and then prep Mr. Secretarybird there for surgery, will you? I need to find the antibiotics for Miss Magpie, she’s the most urgent of the three.”
“Ah- yes, Doctorine!” Chopper agreed, and bounced into action, and questions about feathers and wings and Ds were quickly forgotten.
-
Franky didn’t have wings.
He had had, at one point, though he’d never really cared much about them either way. After all, Tom-san hadn’t had wings, and neither had Kokoro. And it wasn’t like they were any use for shipbuilding, and he didn’t have many places to fly to, anyways.
Iceberg had taught him how to fly, even though he’d always insisted he didn’t need Iceberg to teach him anything. But it had been useful for getting up to high places that needed construction, or making a quick getaway after breaking something, and- yeah, okay, he could admit it. It was fun. Flying had been fun.
And then there had been the sea train. And wings were so very fragile.
By the time he hauled himself aboard the scrap ship with broken hands, he already knew he wouldn’t fly ever again. His wings were wrecked beyond any dream of repair, skin shredded and bones shattered into fragments. Even if he had the ability to create prosthetics lightweight and detailed enough to replace them- which, not to sell himself short, he probably could, given time and materials that he didn’t have- he never would have been able to attach them to the nerves properly, not at that angle.
No, better just to amputate, and cauterize, and focus on the things he did need: his hands, his eyes, his organs.
And he’d gone on, and it had been fine, and most of the time he barely missed flying at all.
“Look,” he said, as the Agua Laguna raged outside and the dumb pirate kid refused to listen to reason. “Listen to me, bro. I’m serious. You listening?”
The kid didn’t answer, but he did pause in hammering away at his dead ship for a moment, which Franky decided to take as a yes.
“Your ship’s crippled,” Franky said bluntly. “She can’t sail anymore. It’s like- okay, you saw my wings are gone, right?”
“...Yeah.”
“Taking that ship to sea,” Franky said, “would be like pushing me off a cliff. There was a time I could’ve survived that just fine, but now it’d smash me to pieces. Your ship’s lost her wings. And no matter what, you can’t fix that.”
The kid stared at him, biting his lip so hard it looked like it might bleed, something cracking in his eyes, black and white wings curling protectively around his shoulders. Franky felt for him, he really did- he knew better than most what it felt like to fight something you couldn’t possibly win to try and save something you loved- but truth was truth, even when it hurt.
He was just starting to hope he might have finally gotten through when the door crashed open and suddenly, they all had bigger problems to worry about.
-
Robin’s wings were nondescript. It was useful, in its way, when it came to living in hiding. From the slanderous stories told about her and the people of Ohara, people expected crow, raven, rook- something dark and threatening. Or even featherless demon wings, much like those of her new captain.
Instead, her wings were simple, uniform dark grey with tawny orange-brown patches spreading from the shoulders. Robin wings.
Her mother’s had looked much the same, she remembered. It was one of the only details that had stuck in her head about Nico Olvia, as the long years had worn away at the few memories of her mother she had. Most of her mother’s face was a blur, now, but she still remembered a few things: white hair, sad eyes, wings of a mourning dove.
As Spandam dragged her down the Bridge of Hesitation, hands and powers bound, she flapped her wings frantically as hard as she could, even as the chains around her shoulders to weigh her down and stop her flying broke feathers and gouged at skin with every movement. She didn’t even need lift, just to push herself backwards a meter, a foot, an inch-
If she could buy even a minute, even a second-
Spandam spat an ugly word at her as he was jerked backwards, stumbling for a moment and nearly face-planting onto the bridge before he managed to find his balance. He snarled, grabbed her by the shoulder and hurled her to the ground, driving the air from her lungs with a painful gasp.
He stomped down hard between her shoulder blades, pinning her down.
“You know,” he said, sounding almost gleeful, “the Tenryuubito cut off the wings of their slaves. To be sure they’ll never escape. Maybe I’ll recommend that, as part of your judgement. Or…”
He moved his shoe from the center of her back to press lightly down on one of the delicate wing-joints in her right wing, and her breath caught.
“Or maybe I’ll just do it myself,” he said. “What do you think, Nico Robin?”
Nico Olvia, with white hair and sad eyes and mourning-dove wings that had been bloodied, perforated by rifle-shots, ruined to stop her from flying away-
They’d aimed for the wings, first. They’d wanted to be sure that not a single scholar could escape. Not one was left uncrippled by the time the marines evacuated the burning wreck of Ohara.
(Except Robin.)
“It’s not like you’ll be flying ever again, where you’re going,” Spandam continued, starting to press down, and Robin closed her eyes and grit her teeth against the pain and the rising plea for mercy alike. She refused to beg. Her mother had fought to the end, and so would she.
Then there was a blaze of light, and a crash, and a fireball caught Spandam perfectly in the head, and Robin was saved.
(Though, perhaps, if she was honest with herself, she’d been saved a very long time ago.)
-
When Brook had been alive, his wings had been soft, plain uniform brown.
Nightingale, Yorki had laughed, one late night when they were sorting through a wing glossary one of the crewmen had picked up on the latest island, trying to place everyone’s wings. Oi, Brook, no wonder you’ve got the best singing voice on the ship.
Brook had warbled out a few notes in response, as horrifically flat and off-pitch as he could physically manage, and Yorki had nearly cracked a rib laughing.
But wings rotted away just like all other flesh, and by the time Brook crawled his way back to the world of the living, they were nothing but bones and a drift of soft brown feathers, shed on the rotting planks. He tucked a few of the feathers away in an inside pocket of his coat, just in case they helped Laboon to recognize him, someday.
Catching the remnants of his wings in the corners of his eyes (ah, but he didn’t have those anymore-), grasping and skeletal, always caught him off guard, almost worse than catching sight of his reflection. The bare, bright white stood in such contrast to the soft brown he was so used to seeing that he thought he would never truly get used to it. He couldn’t imagine anyone else would, either.
And then-
“Your wings are awesome, Brook!” Luffy said, bright and enthusiastic and entirely sincere, sprawled on his back on the piano. His wings were splayed out beneath him- featherless and red, entirely unlike any Brook had never seen before. “They’re so cool!”
For a moment, Brook couldn’t find words. (How unsuiting, for a songsmith.) And then he said, “Why, thank you, Luffy-san. I should tell you, though… I’m afraid they’re not good for much. I can no longer fly.”
Luffy blinked, and then said, “So? I can’t, neither.”
“...You can’t?”
Luffy snickered, grinning. “Nah! My wings only sorta work. Something ‘bout my devil fruit and my bones or something. I don’t really get it. But it doesn’t matter! I mean, I can just rocket to places. And you too, right? You can run on water! That’s so cool!”
Brook looked at Luffy’s beaming grin for a long moment, and couldn’t stop the urge to smile back, even though he had no lips with which to do so.
And then he said, “May I join your crew?”
Luffy laughed like the best song Brook had ever heard. “Sure!”

Update watching One Piece, and Spoilers of Dressrosa
The “non spoilers” part first:
I’m already in the middle of Dressrosa and it got more exciting than before and THANK GOD...
.
.
.
...And now, with all seriousness and putting the spoiler for later on:
Look, I’ll be honest. The only reason why I’m writing this is MORE THAN JUST to update. I’m writting this to show my non apology on why I’ve been lately reblogging, both here and in my principal-art blog, nothing but Roronoa Zoro posts.
As I said, it’s a non apology.
I basically want to tell you that I: regret 0 reblogging so many posts about Zoro.
Yes, indeed, I did said Robin was my favourite Strawhat BUT, she’s not the only one and even though I tend to gravitate towards her... I’ve been lately gravitating more towards Zoro. I don’t know what the f*ck happened (actually no, me and 7 y/o me do know what the f*ck happened here) but here I am, doing nothing but reblogging Zoro posts non stop.
The Zoro enjoyers in this page are extremely talented and I’m more than grateful for that. Please do keep up with your work, I’m more than greatful for that.
.
.
.
Now you can read in the spoiler part:
Also tw for mentions of... “fluids” (very nsfw).
I’ll go with a lighning round because there’s too much to unpack here:
THE COLLOSEUM PART WAS REALLY BORING AND I BARELY ENJOYED TIL... The block D fight’s end? Maybe? Slightly before Bartolo finding Zoro and Kin’emon and trying to reach Luffy, and then Sabo appears in front of Luffy for the first time in years, and so on.
I say ”barely” because the only good things that came from there were Rebecca, Bartolo, Cavendish, Sabo and Koala, but not in that order.
I STARTED TO SWEAT IN F*CKING FEAR WHEN NAMI’S GROUP ENCOUNTERED BIG MAM’S SHIP, AND EVEN MORE WHEN SANJI SAID “I’M GETTING INTO THAT SHIP”. NO. PLEASE. DON’T. I’M NOT READY FOR WHOLE CAKE ISLAND YET.
Speaking of which, I was genuinely scared when they encountered Big Mam’s ship because I genuinely thought that they just accidentally stumbled upon Whole Cake Island instead of Zou (or just Big Mam’s ship, in this case) and, one more time, I was sweating in f*cking fear.
Dellinger is annoying yet I wouldn’t mind drawing him and idk why.
God Ussop was sad and hillarious both at the same time, poor Ussop, I feel you.
FRANKY GO PUNCH SEÑOR ROSA DE UNA P*TA VEZ
I knew the seiyuus Hayashibara Megumi, Morikubo Showtaro, Ishida Akira and even Kugimiya Rie were here BUT I wasn’t expecting Koyama Rikiya (who’s performance I absolutely adore here) NOR YUKINO SATSUKI OR FURUYA TOHRU AND I CAN’T STOP FANGIRLING. (the voices of Otae from Gintama and Yoruichi from Bleach, and THE FREAKIN SEIYUU OF PEGASUS SEIYA FROM SAINT SEIYA respectively)
And now that I’ve spoken about Ishida Akira and Yukino Satsuki...Let me tell you how Gintama f*cked me up entirely:
When Cavendish (Ishida Akira) met Trebol and Sugar (Kugimiya Rie) all I could think of was freaking Katsura speaking to “evil” Kagura, and then when I heard Koala (Yukino Satsuki) all I could think of was “oh, Otae is a genki girl in One Piece”, LIKE WTF DID GINTAMA DO TO ME????? IF I’M ALREADY LIKE THIS WITH DRESSROSA, WHAT’S GOING TO HAPPEN IN WHOLE CAKE, WHERE FREAKING SUGITA TOMOKAZU (Sakata Gintoki from Gintama) VOICES ONE(not mentioning who because I’m only covering spoilers of Dressrosa) OF THE CARACTERS FROM THAT ARC???????????????? WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO????????
And that’s all.
Above all, I’m having more fun than in Fish-Man Island so, it’s something, I guess...
It’s not “great-great” but it’s better than expected.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Also, Co/rrida in spanish (now you’ll see why I put that / there), although it can be used to describe the bullfighting animal torture bullsh*t (that sh*t is not as popular as travel agencies or travel vlogers make you believe it is in Spain, trust me, I live in there but the S isn’t silent), it can accidentaly be translated to c*msh0t.
Put an U in that * to get the better picture of what I’m talking about.
Yikes.
And if anybody wonders, all spanish speakers were holding our laughs more than Pica’s subbordinates whenever he spoke every time that freaking colloseum was mentioned.
Yikes, once again.

What are some of your favorite one piece moments and why?
WHOO BOY thanks for asking and buckle up ‘cause this is gonna be a long one
(A note before I start: I read OP up to volume 63 in German and the rest in English, so I apologize if I get some pre-ts names wrong! Also these are in somewhat of a chronological order and based solely on the manga.)
Luffy giving the dog (Shushu?) the last box of food: This is the moment that made me love Luffy, it’s such a simple but effective way of showing his core philosophy that people’s treasures and dreams have inherent value and that everyone deserves to have someone by their side who will fight for them when they can’t do it themselves.
Bellmere: Just. Everything about her and that flashback. “They are my kids”, just... It made me emo back then, still makes me emo today. Love it, love her, love her design and what she’s all about. Yes.
Luffy going “I’m nothing without my crew!” in Arlong Park: Bear with me here ‘cause I was like 12 when I read this arc the first time, and back then I didn’t get why Nami wouldn’t just ask for help (so the “Help me!” moment only became a tear-jerker during my many, many re-reads). Something that did make immediate sense to me was Luffy straight-up admitting his skillset is limited to punching things very good, and I was like hell yeah go Luffy because I was 12. (I also love that this sentiment was echoed by Luffy going “I can’t be Pirate King without you” in Whole Cake Island two years later, so that’s another favorite right there.)
Skipping ahead otherwise we’ll be here all day but Luffy carrying Sanji and Nami in Drumm. Seeing him climb up that mountain with his bare hands and feet fucked me up even as a kid, the way Oda paced it really made you feel what an absolutely harrowing experience that must’ve been and I still think about it a lot.
Zoro fighting Mr. 1 in Alabasta: That fight was just mindblowingly cool and I love Zoro. That panel of him kneeling in his own blood after winning the fight hrgghhgh and oh hey THE STRAWHATS SHOWING THE X ON THEIR ARMS FOR VIVI 🥺🥺🥺  how are those not permanent tattoos Oda FIGHT ME
The entirety of Noland & Kargara, how they died without seeing each other and fully mending the argument they had and how Luffy ringing the bell hundreds of years later redeemed it all. Oda went incredibly hard on Skypia’s backstory and I’m not entirely sure what possessed him to tell a story that tragic but I, for one, am grateful. (Fun fact I was extremely late to this whole shipping thing and thus One Piece is very much about the platonic nakamaship of it all for me but even as a clueless baby fan I shipped THE FUCK out of Noland & Kargara oh my)
“I want to live!” + Sogeking shooting the WG flag + Usopp’s speech to Luffy + Luffy almost fighting to the death to keep his crew safe + MERRY’S GOODBYE: I bawl my eyes out every time I read Water 7, it’s my favorite arc to this very day because it’s just so complex and nuanced and the crew’s limits being tested in every way is just a very rewarding (if incredibly emotional) thing to witness. It put both Robin and Usopp on the map as two of my absolute favs and I’m so grateful for that.
The Strawhats teaming up against Oz (?) was something I didn’t know I needed until I saw it and I’ve been gunning for another Strawhat group fight ever since. The team work, the absolute trust, just everything about it was a delight and made all the stuff that followed (Zoro & Sanji laying down their lives for their captain, the entirety of Sabaody) so much more painful. Also Bink’s Sake because Brook deserves to have friends to sing it with him every single day of his life!!!
Luffy refusing to ask if the One Piece is real or not on Sabaody: I just adore that moment. Rayleigh was so soft and indulgent with these baby pirates carrying along the legacy of Roger’s old hat... My heart...
Mr. 2/Bon Curry (?) in Impel Down. ‘Nuff said.
Ace saying “Thank you” after you-know-what but let’s not linger on that because I was reading One Piece weekly back then and it traumatized me to the point I didn’t keep up with it for 10 years haha!
The post-timeskip era is a bit of a blur to me because I binged it all just a few months ago and my memory is McFreaking Terrible but I’ll start with Law being warned on two separate occasions that he might not like an alliance with Luffy, making the alliance anyways and proceeding to burn in “Strawhat-ya is a fucking moron” purgatory ever since. I don’t care if it’s overdone, every year Law loses to Luffy’s idiocy is one added to my lifespan. Godspeed, king of emo pirates. You dug your grave now lie in it.
Sabo coming back: I know there’s discourse about that doing bad things to the plot and the stakes of character deaths in One Piece, bla bla bla, I truly do not care. Luffy getting one (1) big brother back and Sabo stepping up to Ace’s legacy was so monumental when it happened that it briefly brought me back from my One Piece hiatus and I immediately bought volume 75 when it came out in German. (Now if Oda will only let him live and let Luffy actually hang out with his brother I would very much appreciate that, huff huff.)
USOPP UNLOCKING OBSERVATION HAKI AND SAVING LUFFY AAAAAAAAAA
Corazon holding onto life until Law was safe + Corazon’s smile: Corazon in general, actually. Law harboring that little bit of kindness he was shown as a kid and plastering it all over his ship and his crew and his own fucking skin. Mmmm love me a big sip from that good ol’ heartbreak.
Still in Dressrosa, Zoro going “I wonder what he’s dreaming about” when Luffy smiles in his sleep. It’s this little line and kinda insignificant because they’re talking to Sabo in that moment (and that’s clearly like woah), but it’s so fucking soft and it made my heart grow three sizes so there.
Jack getting one-shotted by Zunesha: Get rekt you insufferable asshole oh my god
Whole Cake Island is practically 78 chapters of favorite moments but Nami saying goodbye to Sanji + Luffy almost ripping his arms out to warn Sanji about Pudding + Sanji making a Strawhat lunchbox by accident + “That’s just how you are” + Luffy muffling his pain in front of the mirror so his crew doesn’t worry (Oda turn on your location I just want to talk) + Sanji carrying Luffy back to the ship + “I’m your captain now! Don’t die even if it kills you!” so yeah, the entire thing. Also Katakuri??? What a loser I love him
[Spoilers for Wano]
And if I went into all the things I like about Wano we’d truly be here all day. Gun to my head I’d probably pick Zoro & Luffy reuniting, Kidd & Killer in Udon (of course) and “At sea you fight pirates!” as my favorite moments so far. Also Jinbei joining the crew after a million years holy shit FINALLY and Luffy getting angry over spilled bean soup and KIDD BEATING THE SHIT OUT OF APOO FUCK YES and don’t get me started on the new characters especially Kiku and Yamato and---
[End of Wano spoilers]
Anyhow. My answer to “What’s your favorite One Piece moment?” is basically “YES” to all of it, thanks for coming to my TED talk.

One Piece Chapter 946 Review
Tumblr media
Imagine reading the chapter’s title, believing that the fight is still on. After two weeks of waiting, you would think that despite how crazy it is that Big Mom took down Queen in a mere second, the war isn’t over. The chapter’s title is a lie. Okay, not really, but if you think the main focus is the fight itself, you will be right…for only 4 pages. Big Mom destroys Queen with just swinging. It’s like watching Hulk versus Loki all over again; it’s funny, but crazy and intimidating. It’s not discrediting Queen, rather show how much of a gap between a high ranking commander and a Yonko truly is. It’s insane. But hey, at least those two back-to-back double-page spread are a lot of fun to look at. Queen had no chance.
On the plus side, Kidd and Killer are freed from drowning, so it’s a damn good thing Big Mom shows up to bring carnage. Surprisingly, the whole chapter is downright hilarious, even with some moments of alarming fear. For starters, the prisoner’s guards’ reactions are priceless. They instantly lost their mind as soon as Queen was decimated. I can’t blame them; I too would lose my mind. I mentioned Kidd and Killer are freed, thanks to Big Mom. She also unintentionally freed Kawamatsu as well. We don’t get to see him, but it is unknown whether he escaped or still inside, waiting to reveal his design. I, for one, am looking forward to his inevitable appearance.
While I did mention about the chapter being hilarious, which will be in full effect in the next part, there’s a moment of gratefulness that I didn’t expect. Out of all characters, Caribou is the one to receive it. It feels that it’s only been an arc ago that he was a total villain; now, well he can be still, but reliability is new. Udon is in trouble, but the guards’ smails aren’t working; therefore, Kaido has no idea what’s happening. You got to thank Caribou for that. He disrupted the communication line with the Boss Smails, so nothing can’t transmit. He’s actually going with the plan. Who knew he will be this helpful. I’m actually shocked yet pleased. Give credit where it’s due.
The rest of the chapter is where all the hilarity comes in. Big Mom got so happy to finally get a hold on to the pot of Oshiruko. It plays off that maybe, just maybe, she will understand that there is none and she will be fine. Her reaction to the empty pot is terrifying; like she’s about to create her own Silent Hill. It’s so scary, everyone lost their mind (again) and cry out to evacuate. That got me rolling. Speaking of rolling, the next scene is genius, and it starts with Luffy. Big Mom lost her memory, so Luffy can actually escape without looking like a target. This idiot still make himself a target when he proudly announced that he ate Oshiruko. This guy can’t be real…
How the hell can he still put his life in danger? Just how?! It’s mind-numbing that he will try to save himself by excusing that he spoke out loud by accident, yet he says it again out loud. Oh. My. God. At this point, if he dies, good. I find it hilarious that Luffy doesn’t get the hint that Big Mom lost her memory and believes his disguise as a Samurai is tricking her. Yeah, because no one would think a rubber man with a scar on his cheek and on his body is the famous Strawhat bounty, Luffy. Logic! So, what we essentially end up receiving is Luffy versus Big Mom in a Sumo Match. No wonder Hinomaruzumou is ending.
Then, we receive the greatest plot twist ever. You think Big Mom is out there to grab some Oshikuro for herself? The truth is, yes, she is, but more importantly, that’s right, more importantly, she wanted it for the village that were friendly to her. In other words, she is actually a nice person that is willing to share. What a twist! Attack on Titan be damned! I was in tears by this revelation. It’s stunning to think Big Mom is portrayed as the good guy, and Luffy as the bad guy. How the hell did we get to this point?
As much as I laughed a lot in here, the ending is unexpected, but a very interesting twist to the mayhem. It’s worth mentioning that Luffy and Hyogoro can’t leave the ring, or else, their collars will explode. Big Mom comes down crashing and the collars are about to explode, until Luffy manages to use his other Haki’s technique and breaks them off in time. As cool that was, the real interest comes after.
Instead of running away, Hyogoro begins a new training, using Big Mom as a challenger. However, the trick is, he will put his life on the line and force Luffy to save him by stopping Big Mom’s devastating strike. Basically, the twist is, his training is with Big Mom; if you want to defeat a Yonko, you must train with a Yonko. Luffy did it on the heat of a moment, but it’s likely that his deep desire to protect is what made it possible. That’s a clever twist. I thought Big Mom will be there only for destruction, but now, she is used as a training lesson. Oda and his surprises; always bring one and two together.
Tumblr media
This chapter was a lot of fun. The one-sided beat-down was something else, entertaining however. Caribou surprisingly had me praising; let’s hope he keeps it up. A lot of hilarity ensued with Big Mom and Luffy. The role reversed twist had me dying. The ending twist is very interesting. One way or another, Luffy made himself the target for Big Mom. I guess this is a nightmare. It could have been prevented, but sometimes, fate works in a funny way.

Soulmate AU! Where your soulmate’s first sentence you hear them say is tattooed on your arm
Idea by @akermanch on Tumblr
Art by @mushroomgrenade
Ace x Marco
“Welcome to Starbucks may I take your order?”
Those were the very words that were tattooed on Ace’s bare arms.
Ace has seen some people with the same tattoos on their arms just like him, and it’s not a rare sight nowadays. Being currently nineteen years old and almost twenty in a few months, Ace has been looking for his stupid soulmate for years. All his friends have found their soulmates, and even his stupid younger brother has Zoro!
They met when Luffy was a junior in high school, and the boy couldn’t be happier when he found out his soulmate had to redo his last year in the place. Not the same could be said with Zoro, but after meeting his hyperactive brother and falling for him after a few months, the boy wasn’t about to complain.
His other brother, Sabo, on the other hand, had met his soulmate Koala when he was twelve, and she has been like family to him since then.
All in all, Ace is happy for his brothers and is grateful for their other halves too.
But what about him? Where is his soulmate? And which fucking Starbucks do they work in?!
And now that question is something he’s been asking himself ever since he’s turned thirteen because he’s pretty sure that by then, he’s been over at least a hundred Starbucks in his state alone.
Ace is sick of getting “Nos” or sometimes a “Nah, my dude, I’m waiting for someone to order a grande skinny latte extra cream” whenever he asks a barista if they’re the one. And to make matters worse, most of the times he’d get a few snickers from people who are CLEARLY ON A DATE WITH THEIR SOULMATES.
And those days are the worst. Which are....most weekends.
Ace has been thinking of almost all the possibilities of why he hasn't met his soulmate yet. And you know what? Overthinking is seriously a bitch.
What if his soulmate doesn't even work in the United States? What if his soulmate found someone that isn’t Ace but ordered the same caramel snickerdoodle macchiato like him? Or what if his soulmate is sick of getting asked the same question and snaps at him?
Oh. Hell. No. is his soulmate snapping at him for asking that question.
Overall, you get the point, and as Ace said before, overthinking is a bitch.
Though honestly? Ace is ready to just give up right about now. As he just got another few snickers and laughs from a nearby couple grabbing their Frappuccinos after hearing Ace’s conversation with the new barista. New news, he got another no from the cutie with purple hair tied up in a chignon, she was nice enough to introduce herself as Carina, so she wasn’t that bad. The couple on the other hand?
“Y’know, I sincerely hope ya’ll get diabetes”
Did he just say that out loud?
“What the fuck did you just say you wretched fuck!”
Of course, he did.
Ace ran out of the door, not after grabbing his caramel snickerdoodle macchiato from another blonde barista and waving them off. He was taught to be polite, after all.
------------------------------------
Marco wasn’t even supposed to be in the store today, but apparently his colleague Drake had to call a day off since his soulmate came over to visit.
And would you know that,
“Y’know, I sincerely hope ya’ll get diabetes”
Was tattooed on Marco’s arm.
Marco was never a fan of his own soulmate tattoo since he thought of how distasteful it sounded.
So he normally would wear wrist bands to cover it up.
But for fuck's sake that was him!
Marco was the one to handed him his stupid secret menu caramel snickerdoodle macchiato too!
It all happened so fast, he just finished break and went out with his apron in hand, handing it to the freckled bastard. No. His soulmate now. He was handing his soulmate his caramel snickerdoodle macchiato and heard him say that fucking sentence.
His soulmate ran after saying it too, while Marco couldn’t think, his body moved on its own. And that was the best thing his body has done for him in a long while.
He thought.
Marco lost his soulmate. And he felt it too.
The bastard was lying on the ground in the middle of a street, a truck right beside him, and blood. Oh, blood. So much blood was pouring out of him, and the fucking couple was just standing there, not knowing what to do.
Marco didn’t know what to do, he can only feel a horrible stomach drop in his gut, and he couldn’t do anything but stand there and watch. Watch as the life of his soulmate drains from him, in an alarmingly fast pace.
Marco was dazed, and what brought him back was the loud sound of an ambulance coming through.
Marco couldn’t do anything but watch from afar while his soulmate got taken away.
He was terrified.
For the first time in his life, he was so scared he started to sob in the middle of the streets, with everyone watching.
He just stayed there, bawling his eyes out, until his colleague came out for him.
After getting into the staff room, Marco didn’t hear anything his colleague said until she asked him that question.
“Is Ace your soulmate?”
Looking up, Marco saw his ginger-haired colleague, her hair was tied in a messy ponytail, and her gentle brown eyes looked at him with worry.
“Pardon?” he asked
“Ace, is Ace your soulmate?” Nami asked again.
“Is that his name?” Marco’s face could be seen with confusion by now.
“The idiot that got hit by a truck outside? Yep, that’s him.” She explained.
Ace.
A-c-e.
“Ace”
His name rolled off Marco’s tongue without Marco even noticing.
That’s his soulmate’s name.
His name is Ace.
“Ace is your soulmate?” another voice chimed in.
Marco looked up. Red hair.
Why does everyone but him know his soulmate?
This is absurd.
But Marco replied to his manager regardless.
“Yes, uh, I mean, I guess? No. I’m pretty sure it’s him, but why-”
“Then why haven't you said so?” Shanks loudly exclaimed.
A tic mark formed on Marco’s forehead.
“It seems like he didn’t know until now boss.” Nami explained for him.
“Well, if that’s the case, come with me! I'm driving Luffy to the hospital now since he’s worried.” his manager loudly shouted right beside his BLOODY EAR.
But before Marco could utter out another word, he found himself standing up and leaving the store with Shanks.
------------------------------------
The ride itself was absolutely horrible.
Red Hair’s son was basically bawling for his apparent “big brother”, Marco would have to remember that later. While the other, who introduced himself as Sabo, he was quite polite, tried to calm the kid.
Apparently his name is Luffy.
And with Luffy’s bawling, he could make out that this sort of accident, in fact, isn’t the first time that happened to this...Ace. To his soulmate.
Marco is beginning to worry more now.
And according to Shanks, the reason why literally everyone in the store knows Ace but him is because he’s a regular on Sundays.
And Marco just so happens to take Sundays off.
When they got to the hospital, Marco wasn’t allowed in the patient’s room since he wasn’t “family member” according to the nurse.
Marco was his bloody soulmate!
But oh no, since he couldn’t exactly prove it, he wasn’t allowed in.
After about half an hour, Shanks came out and told him that Ace was stable, and suggested him to go back home and take the day off.
He promised Marco that he would talk to Ace and inform Marco when Ace wakes.
------------------------------------
The pain ringing inside Ace’s head was horrible, and when he woke up somewhere unfamiliar to him, you couldn’t exactly blame him for panicking.
The room was big and white, and there was a table beside him, a cup of water and two orange pills on it, a television right in front of him, and he could feel the wind to his left.
Ace looked around, but before he could move his neck further, a shot of pain ran through him.
He yelped, and not even seconds, someone barged into the room.
“WHAT THE OUCH!”
Another shot of pain ran through him, but way bigger this time, and Ace couldn’t help it anymore, as tears start spilling through his eyes.
“Don’t move so much Ace-ya, your wounds are still fresh, and you’ve been out cold a day and a half, let your body rest”
“I've been WHAT?!”
The guy that barged in just sighed in response, pushed Ace down softly to his bed, and started to write on his clipboard. He had a plastic name tag on him.
“Tr-tra-traflger-traflgar-”
Another pain shot through Ace, but this time, his arms. He could see the blue liquid being injected into his systems and roughly pulled his hand back with anger.
“What the fuck Traffy?!” Ace exclaimed.
“This is sedative Ace-ya, don’t worry, it’ll help you. You’re also just like Strawhat-ya I see, I suppose it makes sense since your siblings…” “Traffy” replied with a nonchalant tone
And Ace finally looked at “Traffy” properly, he had sideburns, a goatee, black messy hair, silver eyes, and a bunch of badass tattoos on him. He was also wearing a lab coat? Spotted jeans and a white fur hat with black spotted patterns on it.
He’s kinda hot.
But he’s not Ace’s soulmate.
“Traffy where am I?”
“You’re in the hospital, room 311. Also, don’t call me Traffy. You can call me Law.”
Ace looked out the window a bit, as it was a sunny day, birds are chirping, and he could see kids outside playing.
Law looked at him and cleared his throat a bit.
Ace turned over slowly to look at Law.
“We had to cut your hair a bit to patch you up, I hope you don’t mind. You were in a car crash, and your head was unfortunately hit, but you’ll be fine, and you can leave in about a week. I will inform your family members soon, and you would be able to see them.”
Ace nodded but stayed silent.
“Would you like anything for now?” Law asked.
Ace looked up and shooked his head.
Ace didn’t want anything now.
He’s just tired.
Ace closed his eyes, he might as well have a nap right now.
Until he felt a tap on his shoulder.
It was Law, his cold silver eyes looked at him with no emotion.
“You’re uncle Shanks wanted me to give you this piece of paper. Remember to eat your pills, and stay hydrated, call me if you need anything else with the button beside your bed.”
Handing Ace the white piece of paper, Law left without a word.
------------------------------------
Marco couldn’t sleep for the whole week without the help of sleeping pills.
Shanks didn’t call back, and he didn’t come to the store since last week, Marco was worried sick but no one could help him in any way.
This was Marco’s own problem, and this was HIS soulmate.
He’ll be fine, Marco assured himself multiple times during the day, and his tired droopy eyes were droopier than ever.
Dark circles formed beneath his eyes, and his colleagues have started to worry about him.
Marco was fine though, he must be fine.
He will be fine when Ace wakes up.
The bell ringed and without looking up, Marco automatically replied with
“Welcome to Starbucks may I take your order?”
After fumbling with his apron, Marco looked up with his pen in hand and his eyes widened.
“...Ah”
Right in front of him, stood a freckled face, half his messy black hair cut off with bandages wrapped around his head and face.
“Are you my soulmate?”
Marco’s froze.
He didn’t know what to say.
Ace looked back at him, disappointment could be seen from his face.
“Or, not. I-uh, Shanks just gave me a description that a guy named Marco with blond hair said he’s my soulmate, but maybe I got the wrong person-”
“I-I don’t understand.” Marco managed to mutter out.
“I’m sorry?” Ace asked.
“Red Hair didn’t contact me, I-I thought you were still in the hospital!” Marco stuttered out in a frenzy.
“Oh! Well, Shanks is on a business trip without any services, he would probably be back in a few days.” Ace replied, cheerfully now.
Marco looked at the freckled teen, and finally, relief washed over him, and the stress from the past week came crashing down. He reached over the counter and grabbed the teen and hugged him in an awkward position, but Marco didn’t care.
Because Ace is safe.
Ace hugged back with emotion, strong as Marco’s.
Pulling away, Marco gave Ace a tired grin.
Which Ace gave back with, but a lot brighter than Marco’s.
“My name is Ace.”
“I uh, already know that. Name’s Marco.”
“I already know that too.”
Marco would have to remind himself to kick Red Hair’s ass when he gets back.

619: "Running Wild! Invincible General Franky!"
Tumblr media
Pirate King, eh?
You know what? I’m almost apprehensive to leave Punk Hazard behind.
It was such a fun arc and ticked lots of my personal boxes (Caesar is absolutely awful and a treasure of a villain, I have decided). This apprehension is only because I don’t know what’s coming next. Judging by the plot threads Oda has set up so far, it’s fingers crossed I’ll enjoy Dressrosa as much as Punk Hazard.
This episode seemed to be split in two: the fond farewell to the arc and looking forward to the next. In one particular scene, both merged very effectively.
And Now, We Wait.
Tumblr media
The Strawhats waiting for Usopp, Chopper and Brook was definitely a tying up of loose ends. The final piece of the puzzle of Punk Hazard is complete. Now, they only need to escape.
I love this shot. While the others were clambering onto Law’s truck, desperate to escape the lab caving in about them, Luffy and the other Strawhats calmly sat facing the door, unwilling to give up hope until all hope was lost. Because Luffy waited, they all stood by him and did the same. ;_;
The Strawhats definitely have Usopp to thank for guiding Chopper and Brook to safety. “50 meters to go! The Gate is closing. Slide in!” The gas really was gaining at that point but Brook kept everyone’s spirits up. “It’s only over when you give up.”
Chopper, Mocha and the G5 guys burst through first, followed by a very narrow scrape through by Brook and (frozen) Kinemon! Luffy was relieved. You could see the sweat beads on his forehead. But he never gave up hope and his faith in his crew paid off. (But it always helps to have someone like Usopp around, so credit where it is due.)
Another clue that the Strawhats might actually capture Caesar is that Usopp retrieved the cuffs from the Minions. They were so grateful for what Usopp had done for them that they fought to hand over their cuffs.
The only slightly bad thing was that Brook accidentally let slip that Kinemon had been caught by the gas right in front of his kid.
Don’t think Momonosuke will be happy his dad is dead.
Is he dead, though? The other minions and G5 guys were left behind but why would Brook bother to bring Kinemon, if he couldn’t be revived? Unless it’ll be an honourable samurai funeral situation... ;_;

Meanwhile, outside at the Sunny, the Mega Mecha Air Battle between Franky and the Baby 5/Buffalo team was definitely looking to the future (specifically, the future battles and rivalries between Doflamingo and the Strawhat pirates).
As Baby 5 and Buffalo retreated from Franky’s firestorm of laser bullets, they hovered at a safe distance and had a “wtf is that?” moment. An old kung-fu movie style sequence of increasing close ups followed (I laughed). Then, without warning, Franky unleashed a General Left.
Baby 5 and Buffalo were sent reeling again. It was interesting they recognised Franky’s “pacifista” weapons straight away, and that they briefly considered Franky was one of Caesar’s inventions before realising Caesar has no interest in “human” weapons. I guess Caesar’s more a biochem kind of guy.
Well, whatever Franky was, Baby 5 said, if it wanted a fight...
She fired a ton of bullets in Franky’s general direction and thought she’d got him until the smoke cleared and a flash of glowing yellow cyborg eyes said, “Nope. Not even close.”
Then Franky injected a bit of humour into the firefight. Dat General Shield that was way too small. Dat Boomerang! xD
His dumb delaying tactics annoyed Baby 5 into changing form. Now, I am guessing Baby 5 and Buffalo have eaten those types of fruits that let you transform into objects (kind of the opposite of Funkfreed). Would those be Zoan fruits, or something else?
At any rate, their teamwork is pretty good. Buffalo knows how to support Baby 5 and set up her attacks. She transformed into a blade first (Espada Girl), then a missile (Missile Girl). It’s just a shame they’re up against Franky because he is armed to the teeth. Literally. Like, I would not be surprised if Franky has weaponised his teeth.
What probably threw Baby 5 and Buffalo was when they accused Franky of not letting them recover Caesar. Buffalo reminded Baby 5 that Doflamingo said “immediately” regarding Caesar’s recovery. (That itself is interesting. It shows Doflamingo’s orders are not to be defied.) Baby 5 transformed into a missile and yelled, “We’ll take Caesar with us!” and Franky was like, “Wtf are you talking about Caesar?”
I had an “uh oh” moment. Franky just wants to defend Sunny. Baby 5 and Buffalo want to recover Caesar. There is a tiny danger that all three will have a chat and agree to let everyone get what they want with no further conflict. Then Caesar will have escaped. Franky knows what Caesar did to the Strawhats, so I don’t think it’ll happen. But there is always a chance!
And speaking of Caesar...
The Centre of Alllllll the Trouble
Tumblr media
I wonder if this guy knows just how much trouble he’s caused? I wonder if he knows his knowledge alone can turn the OPverse upside down? That Doflamingo sent two members of his team to retrieve him and was willing to sacrifice Monet and Vergo to do so makes it blindingly obvious.
Considering how egotistical Caesar is, he probably knows fine well and absolutely loves it.
Well, I say that. As of 619, he has no idea Doflamingo has sent anyone to rescue him. He’s currently flat out and convinced he’s going to die.
But, Caesar cannot stop being Caesar. He felt about in his coat pockets, found Smoker’s heart in a box and decided to enact some scorched earth, nuclear revenge. I mean, if he’s gonna die, right?
The scary thing about Caesar is the sheer glee he feels whenever he does something awful. “I’ll take Smoker to hell with me!” he whispered. “It’s a shame I can’t watch him die. He’ll open his eyes, vomit blood and suffocate in no time. I’m excited just imagining it!”
Okay, Caesar. You do you.
He’s also the kind of guy who keeps shanks on his person. Holding it above the heart, he grinned and said, “It’ll cause fear and panic in all those he’s with.”
That’s Caesar in a nutshell. He develops biochem weapons. He’s a serial killer. He loves causing fear and panic. Punk Hazard really was a paradise for him and he manipulated everyone else around him into believing it too.
I don’t think Smoker will die. Mostly because Law is around and he might be able to fix any heart-stabbin’ antics with his Room Plus Medical Powers.
Still, I wonder what will be next for Caesar? If he goes back to Doflamingo, it’ll be business as usual, I guess. If Luffy and Law succeed... what the hell will they do with him? Luffy hates him. Will Law take him on?
I have no idea. It could go any way, really. I suppose it depends on how devoted Caesar is to Doflamingo. Whether Caesar is willing to go down with Doflamingo (I’m assuming this’ll happen because Doflamingo is a villain and Whole Cake Island comes after Dressrosa.)
RIP, Monet and Vergo
Tumblr media
This sequence of scenes was very cool. Lots of beautiful art too.  The most interesting thing here was Monet and Vergo’s devotion to Doflamingo. That they were willing to die to help accomplish his goals. Doflamingo must either have some hellish power, hellish charisma or a hellish combination of both.
The action briefly cut to Dressrosa, where Doflamingo was taking a call from Monet. He couldn’t believe she was alive. (Neither could I. How she recovered from being halved is still a mystery.) She told him Vergo had been beaten. Caesar too. Doflamingo said not to worry. Baby 5 and Buffalo had been sent to retrieve Caesar.
Notice the lack of “and also retrieve you and Vergo.” Monet did notice... and she was fine with it.
“Oh, that’s good to hear,” she said.
Doflamingo apologised. “It’s all because of my misjudgement. I feel bad for you all but I want to make sure to wipe out all those squirts now.”
Translated: I feel bad that you and Vergo are gonna die but I need this thing done.
He wanted Monet to push Caesar’s Big Red Button, the Big Damned Bomb that was also responsible for leveling Punk Hazard. “With just the push of a button, there will be only one survivor on that island and that is Caesar.”
Jeez. That’s harsh. He just straight up told her.
“You don’t have to say anything, Joker,” Monet answered. “I was just going to do that, anyway. I’m right in front of the triggering device. The explosion will ruin the tanker. You’re gonna lose a tanker. Is that okay?”
“I need you to perish along with everything else.”
“Yes, Young Master.”
What the actual? Monet, this is your LIFE and you are worried about this guy’s TANKER? Doflamingo has crazy control over these people. The scariest thing is that it is not just fear. These people admire him as much as the Strawhats admire Luffy.
And the weirdest thing? Doflamingo seems to want to claim the Pirate King title.
That’s only Monet’s word, but why would she lie about something like that?
I always thought Doflamingo was dismissive about all the Old/New Era stuff. Now I’m wondering what his deal is.
Doflamingo at least had the grace to call Vergo for one last chat. Vergo was still in bits strung along the railing (it’s kinda gruesome, when you think about it.) He apologised to Vergo, said he had known him for the longest time and thanked him for all his work. Vergo smiled (in fractions). Like Monet, he was totally fine about dying, as long as Doflamingo said the right words.
Then, just before the island went KABOOM, Toei inserted a quick series of flashbacks. The G5 guys who sacrificed themselves with the thumbs up, the kids, the minions, Vergo, Monet, all the Strawhats, Law, Smoker, Tashigi, even Doflamingo perched on his window seat in Dressrosa pinching the bridge of his nose like, “Gawd this was a disaster...”
Now I think about it, it really was. Punk Hazard was a proper death-fest. Caesar gleefully murdered minions left, right and centre, he experimented on kids and nuked an entire island. Doflamingo is asking people to die for him. G5s sacrificed themselves. Though no one on the level of Whitebeard and Ace died, a lot of people bit the big one on Punk Hazard and it was worse in a way because at least in Marineford, they were all fighting for something. In Punk Hazard, people just died because Caesar/Doflamingo’s business.
Everyone’s fighting to survive right now.
Except Luffy. He’s riding a truck through a rapidly collapsing tunnel.
That’s his idea of a great day out.
Tumblr media
Bye, Punk Hazard! It’s been an absolute pleasure.
