cause, the thing is, rachel is... i think she's out with the starjammers around the time of second coming (and utopia/messiah complex/etc). so she's not even on earth when kitty comes back OR when hope appears or when her brother takes hope to the future or when her brother comes BACK and later dies!
and i just like!! this would be such a good storyline to have rachel around for? especially because i think a lot about rachel and bishop and their similarities. god knows i'm not happy about the way bishop's part in the hope summers plotline has gone, but... i think rachel would have a lot of opinions about the forecasted "end of mutants" and the way hope potentially represents a way out of that!
also, i think rachel would be the other person (besides scott) who has a lot of feelings about cable taking a child into the future to protect them. the idea that nathan then brought that kid BACK to the x-men of the past because he wanted to help them... the fact that he then went on an almost-certain-to-fail mission to defeat sentinels in a future that used hounds to hunt other mutants..... the idea that nathan, her baby brother, then DIES to save mutantkind USING THE VIRUS THAT RACHEL SPENT YEARS OF HER LIFE TRYING TO PROTECT HIM FROM! and then hope says nathan was always a soldier for his whole life! oh man!!!! rachel would have SUCH a bad time with that!!!! i would love to see her suffer about it!!! and try to reassure hope, as yet another summers kid raised in an apocalyptic future!!!
also i think rachel should be around for emma seeing the phoenix in hope's eyes, because........ yeah, i don't need to justify this one. i think it would be fun and funky. i think rachel and emma's dynamic is never explored enough and this would be a really fun way to do it!

the thing about it is like…scully loves samantha in so many different ways. she has to, first and foremost, by nature of loving mulder the way she does. it comes with the territory. it’s a package deal: mulder and his trailing ghost, mulder and his quest, mulder and what “matters.” there’s no separation. he’s 3 people at all times: the man in front of her, the one in bellefleur, the little boy from the pictures with his baby sister on his back. there are no photos of mulder without samantha, none taken without her, none taken after her. and he tells scully why: “i’m still walking into that room. every day of my life.”
and i guess that scully doesn’t have to love her, but she does, because she loves that man in bellefleur who sat down and told her what matters to him. she also loves her job. she loves the work that they do. she loves being “on the side of the victim,” and chasing monsters, making discoveries. she’s cognizant and respectful of what’s at the center. there is a reason that they do this every day, and it isn’t because they get a kick out of little green men. she’s protective, she really doesn’t mess around, not when it’s this important. as early as miracle man in season one, every time anyone mentions samantha, she’s standing up. she’s on edge, she’s controlling. this is important, but it’s not to everyone.
they’re the same age. they were taken by the same people. endured the same tests. reading samantha’s diary, listening to her talk about how much she hated it, the way scully cried…she doesn’t remember this (or maybe she does) but penny northern told her once that she held her while she cried, after the tests. who held this little girl, just writing in her journal that she wanted her brother?
scully wrote a journal like that too, once, saved her testimony for that same person. in closure the way that she tells mulder to go get some sleep, and she keeps looking. when she finds the police report she tells him: “i got it, mulder. i couldn’t believe it when i saw it. it was like it was looking for me.”
she’s guided, just like missy guides. these sisters linger.
as the years go on, bill dies, then tena. csm is out hiding with the anasazis, or whatever he deems priority. there’s no one else there who knows, but scully does. scully knows that they spent their summers playing baseball. they argued over the television, called each other names. she broke her collarbone on the swing, she was 6. it’s forever his turn on their last board game.
“not fox. mulder.” she corrected her mother with a smile, she knows there’s one person who calls him that. (and still does, screaming in his head, in his dreams).
to most everyone else, samantha is a name in a file, a statistic in a project. but “dana k. scully” is 3 shelves down.
she’s a picture in a frame, a ghost in his head. words on tattered paper. she’s scully’s babies’ angel aunt, one of two, and jackson has her hair. maybe baby2 her eyes, or her smile.
scully is just as haunted, as mulder is, and she’s been closer than he could ever get. she understands more. but when it was her turn, someone held her, and she came back to a person that samantha could only write about. so they chase ghosts forever and ever, because they deserve to be sought.

Damn, I remember the first time I watched FMA 03, when I was 16 or 17, I stayed up until 1 am to finish it, and today, watching episodes 38 through 42 turned me into such an emotional mess that I have to take a break lmao what happened??? My own emotional traumas, that's what happened
I'm feeling so many things again
In episode 38, when Ed and Al are fighting, Al drenches Ed in water and he says "it's going to rain!!!" and I'm like haha no don't try to pull a Mustang on me I know this episode won't make me cry and GUESS WHAT the flashback with Trisha convincing Ed to go and find Al so they can talk things out and Al looking so happy that Ed isn't upset with him anymore it's so cute I CRIED
I need -- no, I DEMAND a spin-off series where Winry and Scziezka solve murder mysteries together (I'd love to write it myself but I know I'm not nearly good enough at coming up with mystery stories lol), they're adorable I'm so happy they totally get together post CoS
Martel's death hits SO MUCH HARDER than I remembered holy shit, she and Al actually got close, we see more of her, her death is so horrific and hearing sweet sweet baby boy Alphonse cry just BROKE MY HEART I never wanted to hug an armor so badly
Scar's brother's last moments, the way he looks so terrified and desperate to protect his little brother from Kimblee and Scar being so devastated when he dies I just-- *clenches fist*
Sloth using Ed's PTSD against him that's so UNFAIR; also I was thinking that I was a bit disappointed that this anime did not include the nightmare that Ed has at some point in the manga where he sees his mom saying "why didn't you make me right" etc but this is it, this is this scene, and it's worse because he's hearing it for real, he is very much awake, he has the real voice of his mom in his ears and she's saying this to him and I'm-- *clenches fist harder*
Rose's story, I'm still so mad, she deserves all the happiness in the world
Speaking of Rose, it's so funny how the moment Al is like "I wonder how Rose is doing" the show just full on goes "Ed/Rose shipper" mode lmao, with Ed blushing while pretending not to remember her, him being so awkward when he speaks to her just before they go on their separate ways and her son just smiling and giggling when he speaks (first time we see the baby laugh, he had only been crying up until then) :') To be honest it feels a bit out of the blue to me but idk
Dante sporting Lyra's white ass in the town of brown people and speaking as if she was part of them just because she's following Rose around to manipulate her is incredibly cringe, but then again, it's Dante, she's the villain and we're already supposed to know something is up with "Lyra". But still.
Very random but Al pulling objects from or putting objects inside his armor from behind the cloth always looks very awkward lol
I used to never really care about Scar but I have learned the errors of my way as I now realize he is actually one of the best characters in this goddamn series, even with the orb of knowledge and the three arm losses, and Mangahood!Scar being much more villainized and ending up working with the military will never come even CLOSE to 03!Scar using his last bit of strength to save Alphonse to honor his love for his lost brother and take his ultimate revenge on those who murdered his people in the goal of protecting oppressed people, all of this while an epic music is playing (honestly it even feels like Ed is made to be seen as an obstacle as he tries to prevent the soldiers from entering Liore lol)
Sorry but Wrath is annoying as hell, I know that I'll probably have a different opinion if I rewatch CoS after that, but for now I hate him
We're finally entering the "Rewrite" era of the show and I had forgotten how much it rocks (Ed's hair animation at the beginning fhjkfhkdhjk)
I only have 9 episodes left but between Lust and Sloth in the upcoming episodes I'm not even sure I'll be able to watch it all in one go lol. Still excited to see more of Winry and Scziezka and remembering how much Hohenheim is absolutely useless in this x)

•Content warnings: Mentions of workplace shooting with a man being hurt very badly and being brought home to die with his wife beside him, a description of the moment of his death, his pregnant wife mourning him, mentions of them having tried for a baby for many years and almost given up, the man's daughter being born never to meet her father since he had died before her birth, mentions of him watching over his family from Heaven and him going back to Earth as a ghost to meet his daughter, who can see him, unlike his wife.

•The story's title, instead, was found thanks to a titles-themed Wattpad story, so the credits go to its author.
•The fact that their mothers were friends and therefore, Felicia and Monty were friends since birth basically is my headcanon, just to make it clear.
•I apologise if the way Felicia will talk in the story seems out of character, but I don't really think so. And also, I know she is tired because she just had a long labor at the end of the One Shot, but I just had to make her talk that much in that "scene".

Daddy's girl
"Do you feel ready for this big change?".
That was the question people asked Lady Felicia Montague the most since September of 1954 had started.
What the woman would have wanted to tell them in those occasions was "No, not really. I'm excited, but also very scared", but instead, she just smiled and nodded.
She hoped especially her friends would believe her, but she also knew that her hand instinctively reaching up to hold her locket betrayed her.
And even when, in the early evening of September 21, she went into labor, after she had asked one of her housemaids to call her doctor, her mind went back to her late husband.
To her, actually, Monty was much more than just that.
Only eight months apart, they had basically been friends since she had been born, thanks to the close friendship between their mothers, then boyfriend and girlfriend for three years and husband and wife for almost twenty-two, until the shooting that had ended Monty's life and changed Felicia's one forever.
In late January of that year, they had unexpectedly found out Felicia was pregnant with their first child.
They had been trying for a baby for many years and had pretty much given up by that time, so those news were extremely exciting for the couple.
They had almost immediately started preparing for the birth of their son or daughter and by the fifth month of Felicia's pregnancy, they basically had everything ready for his or her arrival.
They had also already picked out the name they would have given the baby if it was a boy.
William, after Monty's brother-in-law, whom he was very close to and who had committed suicide a few years prior.
By early June, almost everything the baby would have needed was ready for him or her, apart from one thing.
Monty and Felicia still hadn't been able to find a girl name they liked, and looking for one was exactly what Felicia was doing in the afternoon of June 8, when she had received the worst phone call of her life.
Around 5 pm, her nephew Robert had called her to tell her that there had been a shooting at Monty’s workplace in London and Monty had been hurt in such a way that the doctors couldn't do anything to save him.
Because of that, they had agreed to his wish to go back home to die with her by his side, and a little over two hours later, that was what had happened.
As Felicia sat beside Monty, she had an arm around him and his head rested on her shoulder, while her other hand held his on her lap.
At some point, she had softly kissed his forehead and he had looked up at her.
Very weakly, he had managed to say "I love you both".
Forcing herself to smile, she had kissed him again and told him "I love you too".
His breathing was shallow and despite her efforts, Felicia had felt a tear rolling down her cheek.
She had hoped her husband wouldn't have noticed it, but he had and had looked up at her again.
"I will watch over you and our daughter. I promise" he had told her.
"I know you will, and we will always love and remember you" Felicia had replied.
She would have wanted to ask him how he knew she was pregnant with a girl, but she didn't.
He probably just felt like that was the case and at that moment, she prayed for him to be right.
Monty had smiled at her and let his head rest against her shoulder again, and Felicia had listened to his breathing getting more and more shallow until it had finally stopped and the only sound in the room were her soft sobs.
Felicia knew she shouldn't have been thinking about those things while she was in labor, but focusing on bringing her child into the world safely, but a part of her couldn't help but have her husband on her mind.
And for the following nineteen hours, it was also the thought of him that gave her strenght to keep going, along with her eagerness to get to meet her baby.
On September 22, at 2 pm sharp, Felicia's daughter finally came into the world, and when she was laid on her mother's chest, the woman immediately fell in love with her.
She named her Rosemary Helen, with her middle name being after Monty's late mother, and while most children are miracles, the best human beings to ever come to Earth, in their parents' eyes, to her, her daughter was more than that.
She was the last and most precious gift her departed love had given her, and as she held her in her arms, she vowed to always be there for her and protect her like she her husband should have gotten to do together.
Felicia already knew her family and most people in Kembleford would have wanted to meet her baby girl almost as soon as the news of her birth would have come to them, but she also should have expected someone else wanting to come see Rosemary.
Not even ten minutes after the baby's birth, as she held her daughter in her arms, she felt a strong presence next to her bed and immediately understood who it was.
And although she still couldn't really see, Rosemary suddenly looked up, but not at her mother, and stopped crying like she had been doing for the past few minutes.
"You just couldn't miss our sweet girl's arrival, right, darling?" Felicia couldn't help but say, talking to her husband out loud instead of in her mind like she had done so many times in the past three months "You had to come see her as soon as possible, like the wonderful father I know you would have been. I'll tell her about you as many times as I can as she grows up, I promise".
"And you" she added a few seconds later, looking down at her baby's face and smiling at her "I've labored for nineteen hours to bring you into the world, but you are already Daddy's girl. I should have expected it".
And although she may have seemed annoyed by that to some people, she was actually very happy about that.
Now she knew Monty and their long-awaited little girl would have still had a bond, a deeper one than what many fathers had with their children, and that gave her more joy and peace of mind than she could have ever expressed using words.

- she's been in the journalist game years but her success at 21 for writing a detailed firsthand account of a murder in her uni halls at Oxford died off pretty quickly
- the newspaper assigns her to do this interview with a racecar driver that could not be more of a dead end
- she hasn't strictly been TOLD she's about to be let go but she sees the signs if she doesn't manage to get this interview
- Hazel makes up her mind to get this interview if it kills her
- she's quite pleased though, she gets to jet off to sunny Spain for the autumn
- anyway
- Aleks wins the race, he's through to the finals and so the paps are swarming him as he tries to get to his hotel
- Hazel is amongst them and hates herself for it, she's had a bad experience with them before
- (baby brother gets kidnapped, the Wongs are splashed all over the telegraph and the business insider for a few weeks, "it's a long story really...")
- anyway she's amongst the throe as every news outlet tries to grab an interview and Hazel gets shoved to the ground
- Aleks sees this and, gentleman as always, immediately helps her up but not before seeing her name tag reading 'Hazel Wong: Media'
- he sort of grins awkwardly at her and says "I'd tell you to watch out, but you're already doing that for me, aren't you?"
- Hazel looks bashful and leaves, embarrassed (and with sore palms, that camera guy really knocked her to the ground...)
- however, she drops the notebook she going to use for the interview and forgets it when scurrying away
- Aleks picks it up, and also finds it endearing she's using a notebook when all the other reporters are using voice recorders
- he reads it in his hotel room
- Aleks thinks he's earned this invasion of her privacy, really, considering she was trying to invade his privacy in the first place
- he opens it and the first page reads 'To Do List: interview Aleks Arcady (arrogant famous nepo baby) so you can pay the rent and don't have to move back in with Daisy and Anna!!!'
- of course, he wants to return it to her (despite the fact he's not sure whether he should laugh or be insulted at 'arrogant famous nepo baby')
- Aleks invites Hazel to a posh fancy restaurant to return the notebook and also unnerve her slightly
- he thinks 'yes she's cute but she's still a journalist'
- Aleks starts the conversation with "so what's so terrible about living with Daisy and Anna that you have to interview the arrogant famous nepo baby?"
- Hazel replies "you'd do anything you could, too, if you'd walked in on them exercising their lesbianism right on the kitchen table!"
- Aleks laughs, and Hazel realises she's never seen this man smile, not even when he wins races
- he leans forward, "what can I do to help your endeavours in saving your eyes from your friends activities then?"
- Hazel thinks, and smiles "I think there's a solution"
- the next week "Chatting With Aleks Arcady" comes out but it's not what everyone was expecting > it's just all mundane questions, nothing the papers actually want at all but Hazel has delivered her interview, and so gets paid
"So, Aleks, thankyou for sitting down with me"
"No problem"
"Now, I have to ask the question everyone has been dying to know - what's your favourite colour?"
"Oh, green, definitely. The exact green of your hair pin, coincidentally.."
- (this is published and everyone's all "WHO IS THIS INTERVIEWER???")
- Hazel gets her interview, and Aleks gets to stay private
- "I'd like to do this again..." Aleks says to Hazel
"Another interview?"
"No! I mean, sort of? An interview, but without the interviewing..."
"Are you trying to ask me out?"
"...yes"
"Alright" Hazel smiles
- anyway they fall in love blah blah blah
- he keeps a picture of her inside his racecar

Notes: Anon.. I would Love to write requests for these characters! I've always wanted to write for my ocs, but I'm often nervous to - the only person I know (besides now yourself) who enjoys these is my best friend!!

Renton
Renton is bisexual - when he left the family farm at the start of his adventure he identified as straight, but after travelling with the companions after the Nautiloid, he discovers that he is in fact bisexual.
He comes from a family of two; himself, and his father - if you don't count the abundance of animals on the farm. His mother died when he was very, very young. Renton and his father are very close, and his father (Acton) is the one who encouraged Renton to seek out adventure in the wider world, so that he could be sure in the decision to stay on the Hillmane farm.
Canonically, Renton is in a relationship with Gale, and this is his first relationship (and also his queer awakening).
Renton is scared of most monsters; so the beginning of the adventure is quite difficult for him, as he often gets frozen in fear. This also, unfortunately, extends to Astarion. This poor man is absolutely terrified of Astarion when he finds out he's a vampire. The first time he sees a Beholder he is screeching like nothing on earth. He also doesn't like balloons (including hot air balloons.)
His best trait, without a doubt, is his optimism - one of the few ways that his naivety serves him well. No matter what he's faced with, he always manages to find a way to think on the bright side, no matter how bleak the situation is.
His worst trait is probably his stubbornness; back home, there was no problem that couldn't be solved with a bit of elbow grease, and it takes a long time to try and get over that idea when he's travelling.
He sometimes serenades himself in the mirror when he's feeling or looking good. They also will put on mini shows for themselves as if they're at a concert - he does an amazing rendition of Song of Balduran when he learns it.
Micheal
Micheal is pansexual; the gender of his partner is of little relevance to him, what matters more is the connection he has with them. He's had quite a few flings in the past whilst on the road, but he feels little shame about it, he's very comfortable in himself.
Micheal comes from a large immediate family - and also views a lot of his close neighbours as family too! He has his mother and father, and his three younger brothers, all of whom he loved very much (despite the youngest of those three brothers being only a baby when he left.) His mother and father are both half-elves, so he and his brothers are as well.
Canonically, Micheal courts Shadowheart, finding himself most drawn to her out of all the companions he travels with; this being said, however, his partners have been of all classes, creeds and races, there's not really any pattern - he just wants someone he can bond with and feel close to.
Micheal's biggest fears are being forgotten by his family, and becoming like those he has sworn to take down - the men who take things too far, kill too often. He's often grappling with the line between man, and monster - and whether he's crossed that line, despite fighting for the good of the world.
His best trait is his loyalty; it's not that he's loyal to a fault, but he's loyal until he knows that there is reason not to be. He looks for the good in people, and tries to bring it out of them as well.
His worst trait is probably the fact that he pushes himself far too much; he puts others before him so much that he doesn't always take care of himself properly. He also has a temper - which although he is difficult to anger, can get out of hand if he does lose his cool.
His biggest secret probably is the fact that his family were once slaves; he himself was never one, but whilst it is a point of pride to be a freeman, in his father's eyes, Micheal rarely ever talks about it, unless he's deciding to be more open with someone that he really trusts.
Markus
Markus has a slight preference for men when it comes to his love life, but wouldn't refuse someone if he felt a connection with someone else. He doesn't exactly use labels, letting his heart wander wherever it desires.
Markus' family is long gone, and he refuses to speak on them. When pushed, he'll reply with; "Silvanus is my father, and nature is my mother. Speak no more of this to me - you know me, and I believe that is all that matters."
He is, of course, close friends with Ilvon as well, who acts like a quasi-big brother to him. He was also the 'ward' of Laenna (as previously mentioned) up until their separation.
Markus doesn't have a current romantic partner - and in fairness, he's still very sour and struggling to sift through his own emotions in regards to the shadow curse. Much like Halsin, he'll probably search for a partner after the curse has been lifted.
Markus' biggest fear is being unable to see his home in it's former glory - free of the Shadow curse, and thriving in harmony with nature. It's a plague of a thought, but it's never far from his mind.
His best trait is probably his ability to lead; he's headstrong and confident, which helps him to corrale Harpers, Druids, and others alike when it comes to eventually storming Moonrise Towers.
His worst trait is without a doubt his temper; it's unruly and he struggles to keep it under control.
(If the shadowcurse is lifted) He keeps Laenna's shadow-vestige in a small, protective case, labelled with a plaque that reads "The night is darkest before the dawn. May the Morninglord give us strength to see it through." In remembrance of her, and her duty to Lathander.
Ilvon
Ilvon is a man who puts emotional connection above physical appearance when it comes to his relationships; he also, like Markus, doesn't really use labels. He's very free when it comes to love and relationships.
Ilvon left his family to pursue the life of a druid, and hasn't had much contact with them since. He still sends letters to his family, but doesn't receive any replies. He doesn't mind, though, he accepts that his desertion of his family may weigh heavily on them.
Ilvon also doesn't have any romantic partners at the current time; he hasn't managed to form that connection with anyone at Last Light; but he has had a few relationships in the past, which varied in length and partner. He typically gravitates to more open minded people than anyone else, since they seem to accept him and his lifestyle more than most others.
Ilvon is scared of the dark. If there's minimal light he can just about manage, but if there's no light then he's hit with a paralysing fear that makes his chest feel very tight - he's also afraid of heights. He can kind of get over it by not looking down, though!
His best trait is his patience - he has an abundance of it! He's the perfect mentor for unruly children in this regard, always making sure to treat them with kindness, no matter what they through his way. It also gives him the ability to sit for long periods of time - such as whilst hunting or waiting to attack an enemy.
His worst trait is probably the fact that he doesn't always know how to assert himself in certain situations. He focuses a lot on being kind, and sometimes accepts workloads that over-burden him, when he should have just said no, but couldn't bring himself to.
He doodles little pictures of his friends, or animals, from time to time - though if caught or asked about it, he will utterly deny it. He's self-conscious of his artwork and mostly only does it to keep himself occupied, and entertain himself.

ok well. permission to ramble just a bit JDHDKJS
in case anyones new or couldnt tell, the characters here are rowan (they/them pls !) and adel (my mc, she/her)
both grew up very lonely. adel had no one back home but herself, and rowan had a huge family who all collectively look down on them. these two found each other and suddenly the world feels a little lighter and brighter. theyr inseparable
adel grew up not knowing about the genetical curse she has from her (dead) mother, called the suanggi. its a spiritual parasite that is acquired by a ritual, and unfortunately it passes genetically. its a parasite because the curse works by touching the target and absorbing the magic in them for yourself, rendering them weak and helpless. like a vampire for a wizard's magic.
the khannas have this tradition for their firstborn babies, where a tree from their tree farm "calls" for the firstborn baby, like a wand calling for their owner, and that tree shall later provide wood for the firstborn's wand and also be their name.
the rowan tree that called for rowan happens to contain magic so strong that unusual sparks of magic formed when baby rowan touched the wood. rowan wands are known for its accurate protection magic, and exclusively wielded by good-hearted protectors. just like how rowan protected their friends :)
rowan has always been there for adel, but slowly adel starts drifting away. and rowan misses her so much that it hurts. its like a limb being slowly torn away from their body. one night in a forest grove, rowan took a bullet for adel and her friends and died to save them. the magic from the rowan tree prevented rowan from completely dying, but they are also not completely alive. a ghost, if you will.
adel was absolutely destroyed. like i can write pages about her grief but basically her world will never be the same anymore. she leaves the forest, not knowing that rowan has been trying to talk to her. but she cant hear them from the other side of this plane of existence. they have nowhere else to go.
rowans glowing tree branch looking scars are thanks to the magic of the rowan tree. but as rowan died, so did the rowan tree back in the khanna farms. one of the khannas saw the tree rapidly dying and losing its magic, and no one knew what it meant except for rowans grandmother, who needed time to process such an early death of her own.
adel later finds her brother who she longed for. she fought and sacrificed so much to find him, if only to find a sense of normalcy and love by bringing him back. but her brother forced out the curse in her and attempted to kill her. by hugging her. which is fucked up and it drives me insane bc thats the one thing adel has longed for for years and once she gets it she will die bc of it
but her unstable suanggi allows the magic to fuck up the absorbtion, causing her brother to die instead via magic explosion from absorbing too much of the same suanggi magic. hence the blood splattes in adels piece. adels once again left completely alone in this world. she has nowhere else to go.
rowan could not leave the tree they died beside. for a year or so, theyve just been roaming the forest grove all alone, hoping for company. but ever since their death, no students were allowed to go to that area, once again leaving them a lonely spirit in this world.
until their spirit sensed a great loss that they cant understand. it pulls them down to the ground as they hurt and wail, haunting the forest with their cries of grief.
hearing rowans cries, adel immediately flew to the forest grove, a place she actively avoided ever since that night. rowan immediately sensed adels presence, and adel (no longer mortal) could finally see them. upon seeing each other again, both realise they do have somewhere to go.
no one knows what happened to adel, as she was kidnapped by r and the whole thing happened. and no one knew how adel basically died that night. search parties were sent out, but no one knows that she remains in the deeper parts of the forbidden forest with her partner, both mourned over but are quite alive together.
bonus:
as a ghost, rowan cant touch anything. which saddens them a lot when they tried to hold a feather quill that went straight through them. they will heavily miss writing and reading and feeling adels arms and hugs and. a lot of things
but being with adel helps them. not just emotionally but also bc adels presence as a suanggi attracts the magic in the forest and it comes gathering around their little hut like a fog. and being around such thick magic helps rowan slowly regain a more tangible form.
its been a few years since they both reunited, and rowan never stopped practicing and hoping they can finally hold this quill. sometimes they get upset and frustrated, but adels always there to help them calm down.
one day, rowan got to feel adels warmth again.

hear me out
rafael mccall as anakin skywalker
scott mccall as luke skywalker, who is raised by his mother melissa (there’s not really a padme, but melissa is still scott’s mom) on a moisture farm or whatever tf it is
stiles as leia organa (so yes they’re not *actually* related but shush). he’s the son of senator organa (sheriff stilinski) and his wife (claudia stilinski). from a young age he’s aware of the resistance
senator organa worries about the (highly political) pressure on his son, and after multiple incidents of stress-induced panic attacks, he sends stiles to go live with melissa (claudia’s best friend) and her son scott on Tatooine
they’re about 7 when this happens and are raised together for the next 10ish years. they spend their youth finding scrap parts, stiles building stuff, and scott testing them out (which usually ends in disaster, but neither of them have died!)
stiles calls his mom and dad every day and visits often, but honestly prefers being out of the spotlight and getting to just be himself with his best friend/brother scott
stiles eventually goes back to alderaan when they’re around 17 (funnily enough, scott and stiles were born the exact same day in the same year so they like to joke that the universe wanted them to be twins 👀)
anyway flash forward about a year or so, stiles is captured by darth vader, scott buys R2D2 and C-3PO, he finds the message and is like “wtf that’s my brother! i need to go save him!” and goes to see ‘ben kenobi’ (deaton ofc) etc etc
deaton and scott meet a man named derek hale and his wookie friend isaac in a seedy alien bar and somehow they get onto an imperial ship together to save ‘prince stiles of alderaan’ (scott is like ‘oh damn i forgot he was a prince’ and derek is like ‘??what?’)
by the way yes this is all a long winded way to have stiles!leia and derek!han
cue the iconic “you’re a bit short for a stormtrooper” and yay sibling reunion

I meant to write things and then I spent two hours creating a playlist for reality check, as one does. Song explanations below the cut!
This is straight up just a song about being broken by the loss of somebody, cause that's what characterises little Leo. I regret nothing. (It also technically goes both ways!) But you went away. How dare you? I'll miss you. They say I'll be okay, but I'm not going to ever get over you.
The first lines of this talking about a better time, and having to try to manage on his own while not wanting to talk about what happened to him - really this song has no right to match Pilot Hamato as well as it does. Also he does not know how to be alone, especially with all that's on his mind.
I went looking for a lullaby-sounding kind of song for Baby Blue, cause he's, y'know, baby. Not to mention that Blue's canonical emotional shutdown is referenced in the very first verse! When all those shadows almost killed your light, I remember you said don't leave me here alone.
This was entirely chosen for the verse, 'cause it's perfect for them. Sunflower gets better at healthy displays of emotion, but when they're first found, their emotional state is very much what's described in the song - I might cry, but I don't ever show it, can't let you down, can't let you down.
We all know that Alpha has issues, right? A song about being willing to kill for people but wanting to know if it's possible to be rescued, is quite perfect for our traumatised teen. Not to mention the canon self-sacrificing attitude in If I gotta be sacrificed for the greater good, then that's what it gotta be.
Unicorn was completely unwilling to accept that her idyllic life was shattered by the death of her family. Her song is about upheaval in change - How wild it was to find it, finally feel the climate, instead of only staying dry and warm - and honesty and acceptance bringing tears but also salvation.
Vanilla's loss of his entire family is a nightmare, but unfortunately he can't wake up. Thinking of himself as a leader first and a person second, well, it led to some identity issues. But now he's got the help he needs to start healing, even if he's standoffish - an atittude referenced in my heart is gold and my hands are cold.
Cobalt was the sole non-alien in the world, as far as he knew, for two very long years. It wasn't a very good life, but he made it through - and even among the others, he stands out as a survivor. We lost the control and we're on our own, at least for now. Just surviving, and nothing else.
The first verse references that Spruce is used to a louder world, and has nightmares. Not to mention the feeling of being lost, ready to be blown away, after xyr entire family died in a day. Xe doesn't know if xe's worthy of another family - of love - after not being able to save xyr first one.
You are broken, crushed to the very bone, cut wide open. An angsty opening for a song, and also a reference to Pep's leg being injured (and later gone). Despite the trauma involved in that, and the unsteady healing process, he's one of the most optimistic of the blueberries, which is referenced in the chorus.
Echo's song is directly related to the year he spent in the prison dimension. He fought to get back to his brothers, but eventually began to wonder if they left him intentionally - hence the lines If you get to me too late, just know that I tried and Just let me know I'm not forgotten out here alone.
Lee was also in the prison dimension! But not for nearly as long, so they came out of it more optimistic than Echo did. Their song is also about being 'furthest from myself' and 'invaded by the dark', but has a more hopeful bent - So pick me from the dark and pull me from the grave, 'cause I still feel alive.
River is a cheerful kid, all things considered, so I wanted an upbeat song. This one is about her relationship with Leonardo. He tries to help her adjust by bonding with her and acting like her dad did, and filling Splinter's role is referenced by the line, The more things seem to change, the more they stay the same.
Heiwa has been through a lot of bullshit, tbh, and now that they're out of their world, they're looking for some peace. Somewhere that feels safe, where they don't have to be afraid or hurt any more. Or, to quote their song: Home, a place where I can go to take this off my shoulders, someone take me home.
And now the fic's theme song. There's a lot of lines that exemplify Leonardo's protective, loving nature toward his carton of little blueberries. The ones I like the best are, It will be all right, you'll see, trust me. I'll be there watching over you. Just take a look through my eyes, there's a better place somewhere out there.

The Wilson Family Chronicles
I feel like writing down my story of my new legacy save in TS4 so I thought I'd write it here.
I created this save with Jean Wilson being the legacy founder. In CAS, I made her the grandmother. She was already an elder when the game started, with an Adult daughter (Andi Wilson), Adult Son-in-Law (Daniel Wilson), a Teen granddaughter (Jude Wilson), A Child grandson (Zach Wilson), and a Toddler grandson (Colt Wilson). The house they moved into at the start was supposed to have been a house that Jean had built for her and her daughter to grow into. Once the game had started, Andi and Daniel had their last child (as a science baby). Her name was Robin Wilson. Gen 1's childhood was pretty normal and uneventful. Colt and Zach joined scouts and made it all the way to Llamacorn scouts. Jude completed her "Friend of the World" aspiration and Robin and Colt eventually aged up to being children. When things begin to get more eventful is when Jude decided she wanted to find someone to love. She decided to go out looking for teens her age and eventually found Cassandra Goth. She went over to Cass' house to rizz her up, and ended up woohoo-ing with her that night. A few weeks later, Cass ended up moving in with Jude which meant that there were 8 sims living in the Wilson household. Eventually Jean passed on, entrusting everything to Andi.
Some more time passed and eventually Zach and Colt moved out. Zach moved to Evergreen Harbor and found love with Karmine Luna, and Colt moved to Brindleton Bay to live out his dream of becoming an animal whisperer. Jude and Cass got married and later welcomed their daughter Kaya into the world (science baby). Once she aged up into a toddler, they had their second child, Jessie (also a science baby). Then, Zach and Karmine had their twins, Donna and Jessie. Finally, Jude and Cass had their final child, Taylor (also a science baby). I believe before Kaya aged up into a teen, Andi and Daniel died meaning there were only 5 sims in the house now. Before Taylor was born, Jude and Cass decided to adopt an Australian Shepherd named Nugget. Kaya was a sweet child and was not a big source of trouble. Apart from wanting to spend her entire child as a pineapple bear, she went largely unnoticed. Jessie was the favorite child for a long period of time, and when Taylor was not commanding attention simply from being a baby, the attention was on them.
Now here is where the drama starts:
When Kaya decided to look for love, she found it in Emily Volkov. Emily, not surprisingly, was a werewolf. Cass was ambivilent about this, but Jude was vehemently against this. She said that if Kaya wanted to be with Emily, she had to forefeit the house. Kaya was ready to move out as soon as she could to be with her true love.
Jessie decided that he would find love in a sim named Charlie Paul. Charlie was a great deal younger than Jessie, but he didn't seem to care. Not even that their younger brother was older than Charlie.
About a week before Kaya was going to move out, a friend of Jude's was over at the house (Dominique Colvin). She was just making friendly conversation when she decided to flirt with Cassandra. Since Jude was right there, she assumed that Cass wouldn't flirt back. But she did!! This put lots of strain on their relationship. It would take a long time to get back to how it was. Because of this, Cassandra decided to call Kaya after she had moved out to let her know her stance on Kaya's girlfriend. Kaya decided to allow Cass to come to her wedding even though none of the Wilsons would be attending.
After Kaya moved out, Jessie for some reason started having an intense mean streak (with no remorse, mind you) to the point where everyone else in the house began to have bad sentiments toward them. Jude and Cass decided that someone who acts like this does not deserve to inherit the house and told Jessie that if they continue to act like this, they will not inherit the house. For now, Taylor is the assumed heir.
Valentines day came around once again and now Taylor is a teenager. They found this kid in their grade named Charlie who is super cute and around their age. They go to their house on Valentines day and ask them on a date. They go to the museum and really hit it off, having a first kiss and everything. A few days later, they decide to make things official. Taylor breaks the news to his family only to find out that this is the same Charlie that Jessie had chosen all those years ago. Jessie is angry, but Taylor argues that Charlie probably wouldn't have even liked Jessie anyway. Jessie tells no one that their new years' resolution was to get into a relationship.
Emily and Kaya get married and Cass attends their wedding. It was a sort of impromptu-type thing after dates got mixed up (I didn't realize that clicking the "plan a wedding event" option meant "have a wedding right now" lol). A week or so later, they have a science baby together named Abigail!
That's where we're up to right now, and I just wanted to share the drama lol
the plan atm is that Taylor will marry Charlie and inherit the house (and will change their last name to Paulson because I think it's better than Wilson) and also that Donna Wilson, the cousin of Kaya and Taylor will continue the Wilson Family line with her children. Kaya decided to name her child Volkov beacuse shes still mad at Jude and I feel like Jessie's mean streak will stay with them into adulthood.

Ash probably, and Juliva.

Ash! She's my only character whith heterochromia, and it wasn't even intended at first. But, writing her background story and the part where she's gravely wounded during a hunting accident changed one of her natural green eyes to a blue-ish hue.
22. Do any of your characters have someone named after them? Or are they named after someone else?
Altair isn't the only "Altair" branch in his very extensive family tree, and also Mereel (one of the kids rescued by the Mandos on Aq Vetina in "The Foundlings") has obviously been named after Mand'alore Jaster Mereel.
29. Are any of your characters nameless? (In that there is no legal record of them existing, they just don’t have names in canon, or history remembers them but not their name?)
... Not one that I talked about here, but he's only known as "Sarge".

Yep! Jo and Josh, Merry's cousins. And Guten and Borg, Ash's adoptive brothers (she's the adopted one).

Ash again! After the hunting accident, she almost died while being treated because of said fever. Luckily, Walter and the Crone were good at healing people... 😰

Vivian, by her baby sister. She loved her, but so did her parents and she felt left aside. And sadly, she didn't imagine it even though she might have exaggerated it all in her child's mind...

Ash was, Zak too... And Elara, somewhat. But also the main character of a fantasy story with dragons I wrote long time ago.
50. Are any of your characters Good Dads ™?
Neal, even though he isn't around as much as he should, but Korben too. I think Din's biological father (and mother!!) was exactly what Canderous would praise against stupid Dantooine farmers whinging about not knowing what to do to protect and save their children, and Korben made a point for Din to remember them and their courage daily. Korben had a son and a foundling before Din, so he knew already what loss and pain could do to a child and how to handle it... even though after his son and foundling left the covert, he wasn't too eager to take another under his care. Until he saw that silent kid mesmerized by the controls of his ship... 😊
68. Are any of your characters intimidatingly beautiful?
Personally, I'd say Juliva and Litti (because Ana Torv and Gugu Mbatha-Raw are just gorgeous 😍). But none has been written to be seen or recognized as such. I'm not sure Isaac (Juliva's brother in arms and now husband) even noticed how pretty I think she is, and Ela just loved how nice and caring Litti was with her.

... none that I've ever talked about here either. (She's called Lily.)

Elara wears goggles, Leona wears glasses after a long, tiring day and Vivian and Merry wear sunglasses anytime they need. No monocles but I feel like Anton could fit in here too, because of his stupid gunner helmet 😝

I... don't think so?! 😲 But I have a gnawing doubt now.

Vespera had a gap between her front teeth when she was a child. But not anymore.

Vivian started a revolution, somewhat. But if not her, then Ash. Not exactly a revolution though. More like raids?!?! It was against bandits and highwaymen so I'm not sure it can apply as "a revolution" though...

Crahl, for starters. All the kids he trained are his pride and joy. But Elara too! She's so proud of Jakem even though he's not her son, and now she's so proud of Tip-yip too!!! She doesn't understand SHIT about all that Jedi stuff but she doesn't care all too much either, so... What she sees is that he knows a lot of stuff, and understand even more!! And that's all she needs. 💖

Well, Elara? Her most loving and lasting relationship was with a woman.

Astro and Nerio. The first is [REDACTED]'s dog and the second is Altair's.

Hmm. I think I have more characters doing the very opposite of that and preferring to go by completely different names like Zak using the name of his dead best friend, Ulrik being known under specific names by his snitches and other contacts, Vivian trying not to trigger Lawrence's script by using her college nickname/username in the park, Elara having a heap of nicknames and monikers given who's talking to her because she can't bear to hear people she barely know call her "Ela" like her parents, brother and Din did...
Well! Now that I think of it, Elara would be one of them! She'd rather be called "Elara" or even by her family name than to be called "Ela" by strangers!
115. Do any of your characters have an honorary father figure?
Ash could count Walter (the grumpy asshole who taught her how to become a demonist) as an honorary father figure, I guess?! 🤣

Sadly, a few yes. Vivian and Ulrik were my only shell shocked characters, and Vespera has been added to the roster now... because of awful things she recently saw and had to run from during one of our game session! 😭

Elara! Litti is still a very good friend of her.

I wanna send asks about your self insert marvel AU, but I was wondering if you have a lore bible of your AU? So I can get caught up since I came in late
DAMN sorry, I didn't have time to write down it in english yet, cuz people started being interested in it only recently... So there is none actually 😅
But I'm planning to start filling our AU wiki! Before that I can only give short events of main characters timeline starting with first Thor movie. I'm not sure where to end, so let's make a finish point with Endgame and a bit further.
But there are still a lot of info, so I'll put in under read more. I'll be very appreciated if you check on all of this and leave some asks in future!

Basically, it is all the same as the MCU, but with extended events and missing scenes of some movies. Because we dance around asgardians, they are the most developed. Even if we don't talk about for example Tony, Cap, Nat, Spidey and many others, it doesn't mean they are not in the story. We're just having fun and if I don't want to think too much about other characters, I won't!
Tor was banished to Earth for almost 3 months and lived in small town in desert with Jane Foster. And Loki also ruled Asgard for 3 months. Heimdall suspected something was wrong and sent Three Warriors and Sif to find Tor (and after that he was imprisoned in ice by Loki). They started searching from Tor's favorite place at Midgard at first - Scandinavia. It took some time for them to find her. Lara Barton also was at the same town with Tor and Jane to secretly watch over redhead lady for SHIELD. Lara was the one who notified her colleagues about Three Warriors, Sif and Destroyer. (2011)
Lara had a fight with Natasha because she tries to protect Lara from dangerous missions. Even if Lara is a professional agent, other agents and SHIELD workers still treated her "like a baby." When Loki brainwashed Hawkeye, everyone had to understand what danger she really could pose. After being rescued and un-brainwashed, Lara joins the Avengers to beat Loki's ass and save the day. Also, Coulson actually died (and won't be brought back to life) but at the main action Lara didn't know about this. Because if she'd knew, she probably killed Loki with her bare hands. Coulson was a father figure for Barton. (2012)
After mom's death and Loki's "death" Tor avoided being at home at all costs (Thor the Dark World). She's been with Jane a lot and with other Avengers on missions to find Loki's Scepter. Tor and Lara became best friends very quickly, cuz Tor was projecting on her like on an younger sibling (instead of dead Loki). She started to call Lara birdie since then. (2013-2015)
After Pietro's death (in Age of Ultron), Lara suddenly realized that she's a mortal human being and can easily die. And die young. Barton became a bit more careful and less reckless. She also befriended Wanda and helped her with her grief for brother. (2015)
Hawkeye was a part of new Avengers (Civil War). Sokovia Accords situation was too difficult and Lara stayed neutral about it's signing. But when Sam called her and described Steve's plan, Hawkeye joined them and took Wanda with her. After being imprisoned, Hawkeye was chosen as the most vulnerable unit and she was interrogated (with a lot of mental and physical pressure). Barton gave up and cooperated with the government and was freed home with the tracking bracelet. Sadly, Lara did this just before Steve rescued everyone. (2016)
Tor and Jane are still in relationships and Tor visits her as soon as she can. And when she's gone, she makes sure that Jane is safe (with other Avengers' protection). Tor starts to search any mentions and locations of Infinity Stones. (2016-2017)
During Tor's last long journey (Ragnarok) Jane found out about her cancer (it developed really quickly because of the contact with the Aether). (2017)
There is a whole script for our Ragnarok plot, I have no idea how to write it down shortly, so let's leave it for the other day!! You can check what Loki did between Thor the Dark World and Ragnarok this post (3 and 4th paragraphs).
Before The Snap Lara Barton stayed at her home avoiding any contacts with SHIELD and ex avengers (she's still blaming herself that she couldn't last longer and told the government what they wanted to get). But her life wasn't that peaceful, she protected her house from Tracksuit Mafia and other bad guys. (2016-2018)
Lara was at the BBQ Night at the roof of the building when everyone started crumbling to dust. She was left alone there. Hawkeye left her house the first time after arrest to find someone who can tell what happened. Lara found some ex-SHIELD agents that helped her to remove the tracking bracelet and Hawkeye joined them to deal with increased crime rate. (2018)
Thanos didn't kill Loki, but he still was severely crippled and lost consciousness (Tor thought he actually died this time tho). After ship explosion, their bodies were scattered in different directions. Loki woke up with the help of Heimdall - he landed on the same asteroid and spent his last magic source to help Loki. After that (and after sending Hulk to Midgard) he lost his ability to see everything in the Nine Realms. Loki and Heimdall would definitely die from their wounds and without food and water, but they crumbled into dust after The Snap. (2018)
After killing Thanos, Tor is very angry and sad because they lost and they can not fix anything. She lives with Jane and remaining asgardian survivors at New Asgard (small town that Norway provided for alien refugees, it is also not Tønsberg and located somewhere else). One day, Tor met a girl with a sword in the village. It was Dobrana, daughter of Angus (another thunderer, also an asgardian, but banished to Midgard so long ago) and she demanded answers (Angus became dust after The Snap). Tor was too pissed and tired to deal with angry child, so she just dropped Dobrana to her grandmother Fiorra. (2019)
Natasha finds Lara and tried to reason her to get back to avengers, because what she and ex-SHIELD agents do is not "dealing with criminals" it is just massacre. They had a fight and Lara refused to leave because she genuinely believed that the world needs this kind of actions. (2019)
Lara works in pair with other agent Barbara "Bobby" Morse aka Mockingbird. Lately they became not only working partners, but something more. (2019)
Jane dies of cancer and Tor goes to sleep (aesir, but mostly thunderers, can sleep for a very long periods of time to recover). Brunhilde is left in charge at New Asgard. (2020)
Lara and Bobby was at some dock on a mission in Mexico. Lara suspected something strange and found out that they cooperate with some criminals. And it was not just a short-last necessity, it was a long term partnership. Hawkeye finally realized that they are the same as the bad guys, maybe even worse. There was a huge and bloody fight with a lot of people, Bobby almost killed Lara but she escaped on cargo ship to Japan. Bobby was killed in that fight - shot in back by a criminal. (2020)
Barton was found by house of kunoichi. After healing, she was trained to be an assassin. They called her Ronin. (2020-2023)
Natasha tracked Lara and to meet her she adjusts "an important customer meeting" to hire a famous assassin Ronin. Natasha and Lara talk and Hawkeye is finally back to family. They fly back to New York to make a plan to defeat Thanos. (2023)
We hc that people with strong souls and will can walk around in the Soul Stone Realm. So Loki met Strange there and they made a plan. Strange knew that at some point Avengers will Snap everyone back, so they need to be ready. When it happened, Strange opened a portal for Loki to Vanaheimr to gather an army and also to bring Heimdall to his mothers to heal. Loki also asked Angus for help (he was in his flat in Russia). Loki's body still was injured but because his soul healed in the Soul Stone Realm, he could heal himself a bit to be ready to fight. (2023)
Natasha sacrificed herself at Vormir to get Soul Stone. But she was brought back to life by unknown man without a face. Natasha still don't know who was that, but right after that Strange opened a portal and took Nat to the others for the final fight so she didn't have time to think about it much. (2023)
The original Avengers shared powers of the Infinity Stones to defeat Thanos, and Tony didn't die (only lost his arm and got a scar on the right part of the body and face). Cap - Space Stone, Tony - Mind Stone, Natasha - Reality Stone, Lara - Power Stone, Bruce - Time Stone and Soul Stone for Tor. In future it affected Tony, Nat and Lara with side effects on health problems. Cap didn't get any because of the serum, Bruce because of his mutation and Tor because she's aesir. (2023)
Bringing back Infinity Stones in it's time and space, Steve decided to stay with Peggy in 1943. But at some moment he realized that he can't live in past, he's too used to future and he misses Bucky. Steve suggested to Peggy to go back to the future with him, but she's not so happy about it. She knew from Steve's stories that she had a life, husband and kids. Even if Peggy loves Steve, she can not tolerate his selfish desire to erase her life like that. But Howard Stark explained to Peggy that with his time traveling, Steve created an alternative timeline, and if he took Peggy from it to the main timeline, where Peggy-from-future already died, it won't affect anything. After some persuasion, Peggy agreed on that adventure and Howard made for her an extra suit (based on Steve's one). Bruce, Sam and Bucky was in shock what they saw. (1943-1946 and then 2023)
There were a happy reunion of Tor and Loki on the battlefield. After victory, Loki wanted to go somewhere else because it would be too awkward to live on Earth with all his biography. But Tor insisted on his stay because they're the only family left. 5th paragraph of this post is a bit about this. (2023)
Because of Avengers time traveling (and events in Loki series) Sacred Timeline became unstable. There were portals and time loop spots on Earth, that Masters of the Mystic Arts had to deal with. Strange and Wong work on this but they don't have enough people to check everything. (2023)
Some people have found ways to move between dimensions with those hole-portals. So was Quentin Beck aka Mysterio. He created his fresh new "hero reputation" fighting Elementals and was recruit by Fury. He is from a dimension where people have magic powers, but Quentin was a "mutant" - he doesn't have any. So he started to learn special effects and tricks, also engineering. When everyone started to get used to Quentin and seeing him as an ally, one man from the same dimension as him showed up. He told Peter Parker that Quentin was a villain, because he was so jealous of not having any powers. Quentin pretended that their new guest is the villain, not him. Mysterio couldn't lose his lucky ticket to a happy life, so he secretly killed his "friend", but Peter witnessed it. That means just one thing - Quentin is the bad guy. Peter had to act like he doesn't know anything in front of Mysterio. Their final fight end up with Mysterio revealing Spider Man identity before death. (2023)
We didn't think about No way Home plot and I don't know will everyone remember Peter or not, so let's just ignore this blind spot.
Lara has to deal with all what she did back in cooperation with Bobby and as Ronin. Some were settled peacefully, some not. Hawkeye had to deal with Tracksuit Mafia again. She did this not alone, but with Lena Belova and when everything ended Lara, Lena and Nat spent a nice Christmas Night with silly sweaters, cheesy movies and junk food and sweets. (2023)
Half of the population is back again and it brings a lot of problems. Ex-Avengers and professional agents cooperated in small groups to work on armed and peaceful conflicts in every corner of Earth. Lara loved to work with Bucky. It was a surprise that they get along really well because of the same depressed-after-endgame vibe. (2023-2024)
Peggy is fascinated to live in future and love to explore new things with Steve. Bucky is trying to join Peggy and Steve company but he feels himself like a third wheel. Barnes is very attached to Steve as the only thing that is left from his previous life. Steve loves Bucky and Peggy but it is hard to keep them three together. Bucky starts his therapy to learn to live separately from Steve. But they are still friends and Steve loves him. (2024)
When the Dark Gate at Ta Lo was destroyed, Wanda (after events of WandaVision) heard her "kids" voice and starts her searching to bring her kids back to her. (2024)
Loki and Tor try to rule their small New Asgard. Loki thought that if he'll help others a lot he can forgive himself too. He overworked himself and Tor decided to bring him to New York to her friend Avengers so Loki can socialize too. Because Lara and Tor are best friends, this company was the most frequent company. Lara wasn't so happy about it, but Tor asked really kindly to be less judging to Loki because he can be good.

Mighty Nein Next Gen AU, Part One
Hey, I wrote this AU a couple months back and I'm working on writing more of this AU but here are some notes I have about our Mighty Nein as parents and backstory for the AU
Masterlist for the whole AU (will continuously be updated):
MOLLY AND KINGSLEY ARE BOTH ALIVE IN THIS AU
So, Molly NEARLY dies due to Lorenzo but survives with death saves but, later on in the game, Cree or Vess DeRogna or a new member of the Tomb Takers (necromancer?) cast Clone.
Due to the nature of clone and the spell description, it says "if the original creature dies, its soul transfers to the clone" So Lucien comes back in that body.
Fight me, my AU bitch
Anyway, when they defeat Lucien later on a spirit gets stuck in that body and we get Kingsley Tealeaf
Anyway, more of the fun stuff and actually important part of the Alternate Universe/later timeline
Fjord and Jester have a giant, elaborate wedding at the Lavish Chateau after sailing for a few years
Jester always wanted a big wedding, due to the fact she is a giant romantic and was upset her mother never had a wedding originally (Marion is happy now just dating The Gentleman but she did tell Jester as a kid she hoped Jester would have one for her)
Cad walked Fjord down the isle because they are Wildmother Brothers
TJ was the ring bearer and Luc was the flower boy because he deserves it, he picked those flowers with Uncle Cad, dang it
Fjord and Jester give the ship to Kingsley and move in with Marion and The Gentleman
Fjord and Jester have four kids, three triplet girls and a baby boy eight years later
Now for the most important part: Artagan fucking with Fjord during the pregnancy
They find out because Artie is laying in bed with them and casually goes "congrats on the triplets, you two"
Cue Fjord going unconscious
Jester and Artie have a babyproofing session that is off the walls useless
They babyproof the knives by putting bubblewrap on the handles
They also flip the doors upside down (because, to quote Artagan, "the handles are higher up now so they can't reach") but since the doors have glass on the upper parts, Fjord has broken several doors by accidently kicking the glass
Fjord and Jester also name their kids off of the most important people to them (family/friends)
Artagan takes them (and later the rest of the Nein) on family vacations to the feywild
He also gives all of Jester's kids feywild titles and familiars (that start off as plushies but eventually come to life)
Artagan also has a nasty habit of kid- babysitting his nieces and nephew, taking them to Feywild Court Stuff, where they get pampered like royalty
I wanna have a whole post dedicated to the BS the triplets go through during birth but, to simplify, due to the bloodline one of them nearly dies at birth but was saved by Artagan and, as a return, they name the baby after him
All three of the triplets are warlocks for Artagan
Also, the baby boy is a cleric of The Wildmother, more on that later :)
Mollymauk, Caleb, and Essek are in a polycule (all wear promise rings but never wanted to get married)
They own several homes, one each in Nicodranus, Rexxentrum, and Rosohna
Caleb and Essek are both academics with research grants and college professors/government officials, they have the money to live luxuriously
This also gives Caleb and Molly the ability to work at Veth's summer camp during the summer
Essek is also AFAB, Demiboy in this AU (Matt has been using they/he lately so I'm guessing that's the case anyway)
This is my way of saying, Essek get's pregnant and is trying to hide it at Fjord and Jester's wedding
They have a baby girl (biologically Essek and Caleb's kid) exactly ONE DAY before Veth gives birth to her second kid (more about this later but safe to say she was livid)
The baby is just as magic driven as her parents, loving the study of it
But also loves tarot cards from Momma Molly
Molly a couple years later finds a little one abandoned in Rosohna and adopts them
It's a few weeks later, when having a fit, they find out she is an aasimar
Molly and Verin teach the aasimar kid (I cant think of a name, help) how to swordfight

Deadly Mountain Escape by Mary Alford explores sex trafficking. This story is sadly all too relevant for today. Through the character’s eyes readers will understand all the dangers involved with rescuing these girls.
Charlotte Walker is a K-9-unit deputy that is asked by her neighbor to find her granddaughter, Lainey. As she and her canine partner, Annie, begin the search she is attacked and almost died if not for the efforts of Jonas Knowles who witnessed what happened.
Annie is a great addition to the story. She is brave and loyal and helped to rescue Jonas and Charlotte multiple times.
Because they need to escape their pursuers, they go to Jonas’s brother, Abram’s farm. Abram is Amish and agrees to accompany Lainey to the Sherriff’s office. By working together, Jonas and Charlotte as well as Lainey and Abram develop feelings for each other.
While pursuing the sex traffickers, Jonas and Charlotte become close and decide to tell each other why they closed themselves off to any type of relationship. But in sharing their guilt they realize they have feelings for each other. Charlotte lost her beloved fiancé after he fell to his death looking for a search and rescue victim. Jonas feels guilty over losing his wife and future child when she had complications during the pregnancy, and he was out trapping.
The setting, a very realistic Montana mountain winter, also plays a role in the book. Readers will take the journey with the characters as they trudge through snow, becoming wet, freezing, and tired.
This is a wonderful action-adventure suspense story with memorable characters and a plot that has several twists and surprises. The danger and suspense will keep people on the edge of their seats as they search for clues alongside Charlotte and Jonas.
Elise Cooper: How did you get the idea for the story in Deadly Mountain Escape?
Mary Alford: I enjoy writing stories where the hero and heroine have gone through something very dark in their past. In this case it was both. This is the type of story I like to read. I also dealt with the subject of human trafficking because I want to shed a light on it. The next book that comes out will deal with more of that tragedy.
EC: Can you explain this book quote, “Focusing on the past is the surest way to stop moving forward?
MA: We all have moments in our past that we dwell on them. Even with someone who was lost, people always regret not spending more time with them. They are living in the past and missing those times in the moment that are so rewarding. I am guilty of this also. People tend to beat themselves up over something they cannot change.
EC: How would you describe Jonas?
MA: He is bitter. Despite everything that has happened to him he tries hard to become a hero. He is one of those that has regrets and blames himself for losing his pregnant wife. He lost his wife and baby. It shattered him and he left the Amish faith because of this. He has a lot of guilt that has him keeping to himself. He is very determined and can be protective to save the other women in the story.
EC: How would you describe Charlotte?
MA: She is in law enforcement. She is strong, family oriented, and caring. She also blames herself for losing her fiancé falling to his death. She just focuses on her work and not on relationships. She can be angry, guilty, and confident. She is angry because her life did not turn out the way she wished.
EC: How would you describe Lainey?
MA: She is a typical teenager who wants to live her life with a little rebellious streak. She is on the flighty side and immature. She is kidnapped but is very headstrong. She falls for an Amish man who is helping her escape.
EC: What about the relationship between Charlotte and Jonas?
MA: Charlotte helped him come back to life as they work together to rescue the girls. They are connected because they both lost a loved one and can relate to what each other are going through. They bond through their grief. As the story unfolds, they end up counting on each other and protecting each other, slowly developing feelings for each other. They realize they want a future together because they are kindred spirits.
EC: What was the role Annie played in the book?
MA: She is the dog that helped them throughout the search. Annie is based on my dog named Kelly who has passed on. They both are a bluetick coonhound. She is fiercely protective and would do anything for her owner.
EC: You also write a self-published book, Shrouded Past?
MA: This is book five of the Hope Island Securities Series. This is the first book in the series that does not feature one of the founding members team. Going forward the founding members, as in this book, will not be featured, but will be in the story assisting.
EC: Next book?
MA: It is titled Ambush in the Mountains featuring Lanie and Abram. It will deal a lot more with human trafficking. There will be another wounded warrior soldier with a woman who escaped from a human trafficking ring. It will come out in July.
