Building Each Other Up

I've been training Shane for years now. When he first started coming to the gym, he was just a scrawny kid fresh out of college, looking to put on some muscles so that he could impress the ladies.

I remember the first time we met. I saw him struggling with the barbell, his form all over the place, and honestly, it looked like he was going to throw his back out any minute. Being the seasoned gym-goer that I am, I couldn't just stand by and watch. So, I offered to help him out. After all, I'd been working out for years and liked to think I was in pretty good shape.

The gym had always been more than just a place to let off steam and bulk up —it was a sanctuary. As a closeted single guy in his mid-thirties, the gym was a place where I could discreetly check out guys, maybe even meet the occasional DL hookup without fear of judgment or exposure.

But then Shane came along, and everything changed. We started out as just friends, bonding over working towards our mutual goals in the gym. But as I trained him, helping him sculpt his body, our friendship deepened. He looked up to me, admired my dedication and expertise, and in turn, I found a sense of purpose and fulfillment in helping him reach his goals.

Over the years, Shane and I grew closer. We shared more than just sets and reps; we shared our hopes, fears, and dreams. And amidst all the sweat and strain, I found myself opening up to him in ways I never thought possible. I confided in him about my sexuality, my struggles with self-acceptance, and the challenges of living a double life. And to my relief and gratitude, Shane was always there for me, offering support, understanding, and a listening ear. It was truly the best friendship I’ve ever had.

Our unique bond didn't just stem from the amount of time we spent together at the gym; it was also fueled by our unorthodox training style. You see, we had a secret potion, which I had first discovered when I was Shane’s age.

To everyone else in the gym, it just looked like your typical pre-workout supplement. But for Shane and me, it was so much more. This potion had a remarkable ability—it allowed Shane to jump into my body.

When Shane would make the jump, I would become powerless, a spectator in my own body. He was in total control, and only he could decide when to jump back out. But the benefits were undeniable. Not only would he gain the muscle memory from the workout, but he would also inherit any gains my body had achieved from the session. And since I was already pretty muscular, Shane progressed rapidly.

Sometimes, during our training sessions, I would willingly let consciousness take a nap. I trusted Shane fully, so what did it matter if I checked out for a little while? Usually, Shane would jump out after he had showered and changed for me, and we’d go about the rest of our days. But there were occasions when I would wake up the next day, only to realize that he had remained in my body longer than expected. It was a strange sensation, waking up on those days, but I trusted Shane to do what was best for both of us so it was fine by me.

While our training sessions primarily took place in the gym, there were a few instances where I allowed Shane to use my body for purposes other than working out. I remember a couple of occasions when he wanted to pick up girls at the local bar. It was a bit weird for me, considering I was into guys, but I was happy to let him have a good time. Besides, there was a thrill in experiencing what my life could have been like had I been straight, feeling my body react with excitement at the prospect of engaging in intimate relations with a woman.

But it wasn’t long before Shane's dedication paid off, and his body became super ripped. He didn't need to rely on using my body to pick up girls anymore—he had the confidence and physique to do it all on his own. And even though he started to get a bit cocky at times, I was there to keep his ego in check.

It was around that time that we stopped using the potion and went back to being normal gym partners, pushing each other to get better. It hurts my ego to say now, but I think his physique is better now than mine ever was. Which is why Shane’s recent proposition really surprised me.

For the past few months, Shane had been pouring his heart and soul into training for a bodybuilding competition. Despite his relentless efforts, it seemed like he was still struggling a bit to reach his peak performance.

"Hey,” Shane said as we walked into the gym for our usual session. “So I'm struggling to get in as much training as I want to, and I could really use your help.”

"Sure, what do you need?" I replied, genuinely curious about his proposal.

"I was thinking we could use the potion again," Shane began, his words hanging in the air. "But this time... you could take over me."

My heart stopped at his suggestion. In all my years of using the potion, I had never actually took over someone else's body. I had always been too nervous to entertain the thought. What if I got excited by a guy and it outed me to whoever I had taken over? And besides, none of my friends were really any better looking than I was, so why would I want that?

But this was something different entirely. I trusted Shane fully, and I didn't really have to worry about those concerns with him. Plus, the idea of experiencing the world through Shane's eyes and getting to be in his body for a change seemed oddly appealing. And it did seem only fair since he had spent so much time in mine.

"Okay, sure," I said tentatively, my mind racing with possibilities. "What did you have in mind?"

Shane came up with a plan where we would alternate control, with me spending two days in his body followed by three out. He believed that this schedule would give him the mental rest he needed to train as intensely as he was hoping—or at least, that's what he said.

For our first session, I phased right into his body in a private corner of the locker room. The sensation was unlike anything I had ever experienced before. I was overcome with a rush of unfamiliar sensations. Like I said, I had never actually been in another body before, and this wasn’t just any body.

Sure, I had muscles when I was his age, but they weren't nearly as defined or toned as Shane's. And I certainly never had this much energy, or this attractive of a face. I mean, I know I'm considered handsome now, but it took a lot of time (and a bit of plastic surgery, if I'm being honest) to get it that way.

I spent the next two days absolutely grinding, hitting double sessions in the gym both days, and I couldn’t tear my eyes away from myself in the mirror. My chest and shoulders were absolutely massive now, each muscle defined and sculpted to perfection. It felt incredible, like I was invincible.

At the end of those two days, Shane was super thankful and went back to training himself. But as those next three days in my own body passed by, I found myself constantly thinking about Shane, yearning to feel that rush of power and confidence again. Soon enough, I did.

With the competition looming only a few months away, we stuck to our schedule, which started fine-tuning Shane's physique to perfection one intense training session at a time. And just like in the old days—but this time with the roles reversed—I used Shane's body for hook ups when I was in control. It was refreshing to have this much energy in bed, to feel the strength and vitality pulsating through every muscle. And with Shane's youthful appearance, I found myself attracting a whole new demographic of guys. No longer was I an older daddy, the guys I pulled just saw me for the hot young stud I was.

As the competition drew nearer, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride in how far we had come.

But still, Shane still seemed to be a bit overwhelmed by the pressure. Despite our intense training regimen, he couldn't shake off the feeling of uncertainty and self-doubt. To help him out, we decided to up my stay in his body. What started as two days gradually turned into three, then four day stints, and eventually, I found myself spending an entire week inhabiting Shane's body.

He was thankful for the dedication and hard work I was putting in, and I could see the relief in his eyes every time I got out. But as the days passed, I found myself slowly becoming addicted to Shane's physique and his youth. There was something intoxicating about being in a body that radiated strength and vitality.

Things went awry, though, when I stayed for 11 days straight. I could sense that Shane was starting to get annoyed, his frustration simmering for at least a few days. Then, it reached a breaking point.

I could hear Shane's voice in my head, telling me to get out, to give him back control of his own body. But I ignored it. You see, my most recent booty call had been out of town, and I was itching to see him again. I knew he would be back tomorrow, and I just needed to hold out until then. I needed to pound his tight hole, I just couldn't think about anything else. I mean just look at this sexy video he just sent, can you blame me?

So kept brushing off Shane's protests, telling him, "No, no, just a bit longer. I promise."

Then, things went a bit sideways.

"Mark, seriously, get out of my head!" Shane's voice echoed loudly in my mind, his anger palpable.

"Just a little longer, Shane. I promise," I replied, trying to placate him.

"You've been saying that for days! I need my body back, man," Shane insisted, his tone bordering on desperation.

"I just... I have plans, Shane. Give me until tomorrow, okay?" I pleaded, my own desperation seeping into my voice.

But Shane wasn't having it. "No more excuses, Mark. Get out now!”

He started to fight back, trying to push me out of his mind. Despite having no physical control, his willpower was strong, and it had been quite a while since I'd entered his body. Who knew if it was possible for him to force me out?

But I couldn't afford to entertain those thoughts. Besides, Shane sounded annoyed, and I didn't know if he'd let me back in after that. So, I stubbornly held on, determined to see things through to the end, consequences be damned.

I fought back, pushing against Shane's consciousness with all my might. Our mental energies clashed, swirling around each other in a chaotic dance. Shane was strong, no doubt about it, but from all my years of using the potion, I was just ever so slightly more experienced in this realm.

I could feel him teetering on the edge of some sort of mental cliff, his resistance wavering. And then, seizing the opportunity, I gave him one final push. Suddenly, I felt my body convulse. I watched in astonishment as my old body, presumably with Shane inside, fell out of my hunky young body and stumble backward across the room before falling down.

As he looked at me, confusion clouding his face, I couldn't help but say, "Well this is new."

I love Stardew Valley and I love the community and I love how we all bond over pixelated chickens like we’re seventy-year-old women bonding over grandchildren- - -

But I get so annoyed with the character hate, like!!! All the characters are great!! All the romance-able characters are great!! I keep getting recommended videos about the bad parts of characters and I just want to scream!!

Penny: lovely. Charming. Kids are a big part of dating her because she teaches kids, of course she’s going to react a bit badly if you hate children. She is trying to teach kids so that they don’t have to have the same life she and her mother do, why do you hate this woman who is just anxious?

Shane: lovely. Charming. Perfect. “He still drinks after we get married, which ruins the whole story” NO. No. Shane is an alcoholic, and a severe one. If he quit cold-turkey, he would fucking die. “Harvey pumped his stomach” HE WOULD DIE. And I don’t care that my husband is messy, he has his own room and I don’t have to go over there!!

Maru: lovely. Charming. She hates working. She loves working on machines. She thinks about machines to build for you to make life easier. She’s adorable. She has a complicated relationship with her brother and I want to help them fix it goddangit because I love fictional siblings.

Elliott: lovely. Charming. An artist. He only leaves his home for like four hours a day. I can really relate to the desire to shave off all of one’s own hair. I feel that in my bones. Also, is friends with Willy and I fucking love Willy so A++

Leah: “she’s a lesbian” She’s fucking bi stop erasing bi rep in Bi Rep the Video Game

Sam: he’s a musician and a skater. This is what the perfect man looks like.

Emily: just the most charming. She has a complicated relationship with her sister because she takes care of her. She works at a saloon, how can someone not love a literal saloon worker? She’s crazy, she’s wild, she’s a flower child, I’m in love with her

Harvey: glasses. Doctor man. Occasionally puts on headphones to not so subtly hint that he doesn’t want to talk to you. This is what the perfect man looks lik-

Abigail: I don’t see a lot of people complain about Abigal, but I’ve seen a few and it just feels like- you guys love Sebastian so much but don’t like Abigail? What type of double standard is this?

Alex: everyone always says not to date him if your playing a female farmer, but honestly, his dialogue only cuts out parts if you play male. Like, he still says he felt different about you from day one even if you’re playing as a girl. The character affected the most by your gender choice in regards to dating Alex is George, and if you’ve already befriended George, he’ll apologize for being mean about your sexuality when he never even said anything mean about your sexuality, which is kind of funny

I never see people complain about Haley or Sebastian, which is fair, because Haley has a cute character arc and Sebastian loves frogs (this is what the perfect man lo-) My only problem is that people praise these two but rag on everyone else when I feel like all the characters are balanced pretty evenly in terms of good-bad traits.

Which trait is which is dependent on the person playing the game anyway, so when someone like me plays, I can’t help but find the characters perfect because I’m very forgiving when it comes to fictional characters’ undesirable traits. I mean, my favourite trait of all is stupidity, pure and unbridled, I’m talking facepalm-inducing, groan-worthy, the type of character people complain about the most; the type of stupid that makes people stop enjoying things. How can I dislike these characters who are cute and a bit awkward and so ready to bed the first hot farmer they come across even when that farmer sifts through their trash and passes out three steps away from their own house and drinks mayonnaise and would eat hay given half the chance. Like come on. They’re all moron-sexual. I can relate to that.

In conclusion: your favourite bachelor and/or bachelorette is as wonderful as you think they are and screw the people who try to tell you otherwise. The characters are great because they appeal to different people. Enjoy the game and enjoy the dating and I swear to God if I see another person say that certain farm layouts are bad because they don’t make enough money- the game doesn’t have a time limit! You can make as much money as you want! You could sell one sap everyday and nothing else and you would still be able to make it to however much money you desire to have. There’s not really a fast way to make ten billion gold, that doesn’t mean that the farm layouts you don’t like are bad and yes I’m ranting just because I love the slopes of the mining farm its layout is chamrjng and picturesque and provides a unique challenge to decorating and placing buildings and it’s actually the BEST farm layout because I just decided so and-!

Stardew Valley is a great game, 10/10 would recommend, and the new update is already great because I found carrot seeds and I like carrots :)

main 3! gaming headcanons!!

i missed kennys birthday because of my college classes wtf happy belated bday to kenny

a little off topic for the post but ive been playing around with the idea of making a band smau (after hours by 777bambi is so good every update got me at the edge of my seat) and ive primarily been focusing on that as of late so my next few posts might just be headcanons

Stan, Kyle, and Kenny and gaming with their s/o!! cw: implied nsfw on kenny's part

♡ STAN MARSH

Thinks it's great to game together, an easy way for you guys to bond and have fun!!

He kind of likes the more nostalgic games, like super mario bros for the wii (this made me look up the game to confirm it's age and it was made in 2009 wtf??)

Let's you be player 1 but the catch is that he gets to be luigi

Stan prefers playing games on the wii (and switch) and or the ps4/ps5. He's a console kind of guy.

Prefers playing video games at your house and he'll even bring the necessary consoles over if needed just because if his dad sees you two playing he's going to whine to Stan about joining in.

Aside from nostalgic games he's also an action game multiplayer fan, lot of games he has is stylized to be fit for multiple people, so think of games like "It Takes Two" or even the multiplayer parts of Pokemon SWSH / Pokemon SV.

If you're a more single player kind of person, he definitely doesn't mind watching you play while cuddling. Would probably fall asleep watching you play.

I could see him playing Stardew Valley co-op with you if you convince him, but doesn't enjoy the whole farming thing too much

He marries Abigail in retaliation for making him play it with you. (Marry Shane and he will IMMEDIATELY divorce Abigail and beg you to marry him)

He still definitely plays multiplayer pc games with his friends, but sees no real joy in playing it by himself (think like valorant or league)

HOWEVER, if you want to play those games with him? Total tryhard but the really bad kind of tryhard.

Considering he only plays these games with Kyle, Kenny, and Cartman and doesn't play it on his own time he kinda sucks lol.

Screams "YOU'RE BAD" into his mic when he actually downs someone. Screams "WHAT THE FUCK" if he gets downed that Sharon comes in running like "Stan are you okay?!"

He gets so frustrated when he dies that he starts literally pouting. Let him get the final kill if it's just you two against one.

Insta-locks on Sage just to heal you only in game

"Sage heal? Sage heal?" -your poor other teammates

You carry him in these games tbh.

♡ KYLE BROFLOVSKI

Unlike Stan, Kyle loves games like valorant, league, etc. He gets to let out his rage easily by winning

When he loses everyone in South Park knows, he's so mad. However he rarely loses so South Park is safe.

Out of his friends he's for sure got the most amount of kills and wins.

Screams "LETS GOOOOO" when he wins LMFAO. Then gives you a victory kiss.

FPS games is Kyle's specialty. He's def an omen main or something.

If FPS isn't your thing or if you're not good at it Kyle gets it. If you're willing he'll show you how to play (and how to get good fast) however just don't play with him, if you're lagging behind (even if you're new) he's so annoyed, but never mad.

Is willing to play other games with you 100%. Also thinks it's great to game together, even if your guys' gaming genres don't match he's willing to play what you like.

Mario Kart is your guys' go to. You always win against him which leaves Kyle in shock so he often demands rematches.

Ike joins with you guys sometimes and you both initially let Ike win. Ike gets mad though because he wants you both to play equally with him, so when you play fairly he still wins because Ike is just that guy.

Kyle is more of a pc gamer than anything, but if console is up to bat he's an xbox guy. Still is a fps guy on console but it's all single player.

HATES fortnite lol. Doesn't get the hype over it at all, he thinks the mechanics are stupid and won't play it. Might if you beg him to but.. you so owe him.

Is more of the guy that prefers you to watch as he plays, however has no issue if you want to take over playing and he watches, he makes you guys snacks to have while you play.

Avid minecrafter tbh, played it mainly for Ike but then got addicted. So now he makes you play it with him too. He's definitely the "miner". Goes all out on making sure you both have the best armor and weapons. Has a shit ton of diamonds so he made you a diamond shovel for the hell of it even though it's a dumb thing to waste diamonds on. Made you a pink wool heart behind your house when you were gone.

Also an avid tile matcher (think candy crush), begs you constantly for lives. Please give him lives he gives the MEANEST puppy dog eyes.

♡ KENNY MCCORMICK

AVID HORROR GAME ENJOYER LOL

Literally any type of horror game is his go to game. Also likes those RPG horror games (think like ib, the witch's house, misao)

Sets you up by saving right before a jumpscare and then has you come over to play it with him and then you get to experience the jumpscare.

Late night horror game playing with Kenny <3 where you two just play roblox horror games all night, sometimes he puts in the comedic horror ones just so you guys can laugh at how bad it is.

He borrowed Outlast from Cartman to play on your console and you still have nightmares.

"Don't worry baby, nothing can get you when I'm here!" "What if you're NOT here though :(" and then cue him as Mysterion for the next 3 weeks to protect you.

Demands to be princess peach or rosalina in any mario game you guys play. If only one of them is an option and you take that character he will refuse to talk to you until you give up the character

Is also another minecraft enjoyer but likes scaring you with Herobrine LOL and that one scary jukebox disc.

"(Y/N)...." "What Ken?" "Herobrine is outside our door rn" (Y/N) left the game

He also likes watching you play games. Lays down with his head in your lap watching you play.

Kenny prefers multiplayer games that aren't limited to just two players only multiplayer. Only because Karen can play the game with you two then.

If you do happen to playing a two player only multiplayer game and Karen wants to join he lets her take over for him.

Kenny also loves puzzle like games (think like escape room games or keep talking and no one explodes).

Really he just loves seeing your face get all frustrated when playing these kinds of games. He rarely gets frustrated with things like these because he manages to somehow always figure it out, but doesn't say anything just to watch you get annoyed.

If you start getting really frustrated at the game and he notices, he does one of three things; he takes the controller or your phone away and turns on a new game, he actually solves it to spare your sanity, or he saves the game and helps take your mind off of the game and onto something else.

~Has a secret TV in the barn so that Charlie can watch shows together

Prior note, these are my own personal opinions :D also not doing Elliot because I don't really have any hc's for him tbh.

These hc's do not include the farmer and are all sfw

Will be doing the Bachelorettes later <3

Sam

Sam is trans, I believe he came out at a young age and while jodi was confused at first and thought that he was going through a phase she eventually came around and has became really supportive of Sam and his transition.

As Sam got older he made friends with Sebastian and Abigail, he didn't intentionally come out to either of them but rather forgot about it and casually mentioned one day how much periods suck only for them all to go silent before Abigail broke the tension with a "fuck yeah they do" before ranting about how period products should be free. Sebastian came up to him a bit later and gave him a hug before telling him how he was glad Sam was comfortable enough to tell them (even if it was an accident)

Shane

I think that Shane is also trans however it took him far longer to realise, accept himself and then come out.

When he went to live with Marnie, Marnie had been expecting a girl rather than the scruffy broken man that showed up however she very quickly got over it and did her best to try make him feel safe and comfortable. Shane had expected Marnie to turn him away however when she instead hugged him and told him how glad she was to see him and how big he had gotten he broke down crying.

Over time Shane accepts his gender identity more and also comes to accept his bisexuality, he eventually starts therapy after Harvey refered him and starts to improve his mental health and even gets sober. After talking with Marnie he quits his job at JoJa to start working with her at the Ranch, raising his chickens and enjoying his life.

Sebastian

Sebastian is autistic, he was diagnosed fairly young and while Robin did her best to support him she was too busy with work to really build a relationship with him. When she remarried and moved to stardew with Demitrius and got pregnant with maru Sebastian felt isolated especially with demitrius's favouritism of his daughter.

Sebastian never hated Maru and while I don't think he will ever be that close with her, he doesn't blame her for Robin and Demitrius's actions.

Overtime he became friends with Abigail, with him bonding with her over their mutual distaste of their parents. The pair then also became friends with Sam through a mutual love of music (though more of an obsession on Sam's part)

Sebastian started developing feelings for Sam early on into their relationship though they weren't that strong, more of a casual crush, however as they got closer and he came to trust Sam more they grew stronger and when Sebastian took him out for a ride on his motorcycle Sam ended up just blurting out that he was in love with him, with Sebastian responding that he loved him too. (Abigail noticed them holding hands the next day and congratulated them both for "taking so fucking long")

Harvey

Harvey is a bisexual man, his sexuality has never really bothered him and he accepted it quickly however I think he is probably on the aromantic spectrum. Not any specific identity but rather he has a complicated relationship with romance and romantic feelings for people.

While his dreams of being a pilot never came to fruition he moved to pelican town and set up the clinic, he wasn't that torn up about it and became far more interested in the engineering of planes rather than the idea of piloting one. He's also a total history nerd.

Alex

Alex is also bisexual but with a preference for men, he had alot of internalised homophobia and while he loved Haley growing up with a 'girl best friend' had resulted in everyone around them expecting them to be dating or to start dating even if they insisted that their relationship was platonic.

Evelyn was never too bothered about his sexuality however when Alex accidentally slipped to George that he thought one of the gridball players was handsome George had told him that it wasn't right for him to think that. While George would eventually come around to accept Alex's sexuality it still puts a significant strain on their relationship.

The first person Alex came out to was Haley, after she came round for dinner one night George and Evelyn had talked about how good of a housewife Haley would be, how they'd make such a good couple, ect; all while the pair looked extremely uncomfortable with Haleys eyes looking considerably damp at the mention of her being a housewife.

After dinner they both went to Alex's room where Haley started crying and told Alex she was sorry but that she could never be that for him, Alex (also crying at this point) hugged her and told her he never expected her to be. Once they both stopped crying, sat on the floor of Alex's room in silence, Alex quietly spoke out that he thinks something is wrong with him continuing to talk about how he knows that he probably should have a crush on her but instead he can't stop looking at the poster of the strong armed gridball players he has up. (It took Haley a moment to get it, once she did she harshly told him that there wasn't anything wrong with him before muttering out about how if he was wrong then she was too. After that Alex noticed how much she stared at the purple haired girl who seemed to always be staring back)

not silly at all! Definitely more angsty than I intended (and probably than you wanted) but… here we are. Some trauma bonded(?) reader x Shane sweetness…

The countertop is damp with condensation where you’ve situated yourself in front of the man. Eyes a bit lost in the ramblings of his inner voice. He’s detached. Distracted. And he should be. He’d just killed a man after all. And you were there. You’re his only witness.

Though neither of you have chosen to acknowledge it. Aloud anyway.

“Shane?” Your voice is just above a whisper. A gentle attempt to bring him back to earth.

He nods. But he can’t look at you. Not in the eyes. Not after what he did.

“Hey,” you reach out for his arm. Towel clad body following your suggestion to lean in closer. Up against the counter, legs on either side of his, brushing against the plush towel secured around his waist. Droplets continue running down his chest, one in particular trailing all the way down the v between his hip bones.

It takes everything in you to pull your eyes back up.

Not now. Not the time or place, you think to yourself.

“It’s okay. I- I get it. I probably-“ you don’t want to admit it, because you’re not entirely sure it’s true. You could just be saying this to comfort him. But either way, he needs to hear it.

“I would have done the same thing.”

Shane shakes his head slowly. Blinking his eyes closed for a few seconds longer than normal. His mind must be racing behind those pretty eyes, you think to yourself.

“Y/n, I- I had to- I didn’t- there wasn’t another way-“

“Hey,” you cut him off, hand reaching up to touch his face. He’s not hearing you. Maybe the feel of you hand cupping his jaw will help ground him back to you. Back to the present.

Instinctively, he leans right into your touch. Not just your hand, but also your body. Pressed right against your fresh, oversized button up and boxer shorts. Beads of water unintentionally dampening the fabric.

His touch send tingles through you where his hands had moved to hold your thighs.

“You don’t have to explain yourself to me…You did what you had to do.” Your voice is soft, but your words are firm.

He nods, nose only an inch away from your own. His unfocused eyes can’t help but catch yours for a moment as he chews nervously at the inside of his cheek.

He stays like that a moment, and for a split second, you think he might kiss you. He wants to. Though you aren’t convinced that it’s out of desire for you, but rather the desire for a distraction. Something to numb the guilt, even if it’s just for a moment.

You must have flinched when his lips nearly brushed yours.

Shit. Your hesitation scared him off.

You wish you could reach out and pull him back against your lips. Let him get lost in the taste of you. But you aren’t quick enough.

With a drawn out breath, he leans back. Reaching for an item on the other side of the counter top.

He takes a deep sigh and runs his other hand through his hair. Regret written all over his face. “Um… do you think- could you…?” He asks, grabbing your hand and placing the electric razor in your palm.

You nod. Of course you can.

Continuation of this post.

Hi! Thank you for your patience! I was actually looking forward to getting to this post before burnout hit. A funny fic idea would be the whole town somehow getting involved in working on the farm and the farmer struggling to keep them all in line ("No, Abby, the turnips aren't ready yet!", *Demetrius spits out unripe strawberry while the farmer just stares*).

TW: swearing and food

Shane was one of the first to hear about Sam getting a job on your farm. In fact, according to the post this is based off of, he was there when you asked Sam about it. He was stocking the shelves and saw you approach him with the cheekiest grin on your face. When you had asked, you didn't even think to ask him. The idea had only sprung into your head about ten minutes ago when you remembered Sam mentioning how much he hated working at Joja.

It had been about a month since Sam started working when Shane joked (asked) about him working on the farm. He was all like 'well, I work with the chickens as a second job, basically, and it'd be a shit-ton better than working in that hellhole'.

That's when it hits you that, oh shit, you asked Sam to come work for you right in front of him. Shane can see your reaction plastered on your face clear as day, so he knows there was no malicious intent. Even then, you're sure to apologise and offer him a spot on the farm right away.

Sam's reaction is mixed. On one hand, he gets more help and someone to hang out with. On the other hand, he did like having you all to himself. But he gets over that part quickly. He doesn't want to come off as possessive.

So, he is very friendly towards Shane. I mean, he already was friendly enough with him back at Joja and in town, but now he's extra friendly. Because this is a dream job for him, and he's sure it's a great job for Shane, too. And he's not about to ruin it for the both of them.

Shane covers the animals while Sam covers the land. Shane's obvious favourite is the chicken, though he takes a liking to any dinos you have on the farm. After the initial shock and belief crisis, of course.

The animals love Shane, too! Shane's got a knack for being able to tell exactly identical animals apart, so he's great help in figuring out which animals haven't been cared for yet. Since he's able to tell them apart, he was also able to bring Charlie over without fear of confusing him for another! Charlie got along well with the others, though he has to stay at the ranch most of the time.

Shane's not as big of a help in cleaning around the house. That sort of becomes a you only thing, or a you and Sam thing (or potentially a you and someone else thing ;) hehe). He just doesn't have the energy for it most of the time. He's only really got the energy for helping out with the animals because he enjoys doing it. Anything else is stressful and brings him down.

Still, if it's a big day, he'll help Sam out. The two actually have a bit of a bonding session working together; Sam teaches him some tricks he learned working on the farm and Shane opens up a bit and is nicer. Towards the end of Shane's arc he's nicer anyway, but he can still be a little closed off. It's just how he is.

To be fair to the anon that requested this, Shane is also into the farmer. I mean, it's a great way to cause drama, so I want it anyway. Sorry, not sorry.

When Shane catches you and Sam asleep in the hammock together, he does get a little jealous. But that's quickly subsided and overtaken by his urge to tip you both out of the hammock. What can I say? It's funny. Just because he likes you doesn't mean you're getting a free pass on everything. He's still human.

I headcanon that Shane was paid less than Sam due to the fact that there were more stockers than janitors. Also, the janitor job just gets more pay in general because it is gross (Joja has some standards okay). So, getting a cool 600g (60 dollars/whatever that is in your country) is a pretty sweet deal.

I forgot to mention Marnie's reaction. She's... Happy? Not happy? Something, alright. She's happy her nephew is getting a good job with a good boss for good pay, but she's worried how long it will last. You're racking up money quick, and automation even quicker. How long will it be before Shane's not even needed anymore? What will happen then?

Oh, as for the watering can fights with Sam, Shane's all in on those. He may be recovering from depression and alcoholism, but that doesn't mean he can't enjoy a good water fight. Though Shane doesn't use watering cans in the nice way, by using the end to sprinkle it over people. No, he flips that baby upside down and dunks it on you and Sam. Automatic win.

When him and Sam are finished with their work and you haven't come back yet, they help themselves to your house. Mainly your kitchen, of course. You've had to rearrange everything into the Sam & Shane and the Not Sam & Shane area. They have a whole drawer in your fridge dedicated to them simply to keep their hands of your stuff.

If you are to arrive really late from the mines, these two rush you over to Harvey's. Sam's more inclined to keep you at your house to rest, but eventually agrees to go and get you checked out by a professional. Shane's first guess is to go to Harvey's because Yoba knows how much he's helped him with his troubles.

If Lori had lived do you think Rick and Michonne would’ve still fallen in love? I’m sure most of us do but I’m curious as to how you see an alternate universe like that playing out? I feel like either Rick mirrors Lori and tries to sticks with marriage (either a broken or healing one) and as such it takes even longer for him and Michonne to connect. Or having Lori’s presence actually forces whatever grows between Rick and Michonne to be uncomfortably brought to the surface and instead accelerates their realization of their feelings. What do you think?

hey anon! these are all really interesting questions to think about.

i mean, i definitely think rick and michonne would have fallen in love anyway, and that was before the ones who live came into my house and said yes, definitively, they are soulmates and michonne is the love of his life.

i liked lori, and i think the amount of hate she gets can be unfair and sometimes uncalled for, but i also think she and rick were fundamentally incompatible and that michonne or no michonne, wouldn't have made it in the long run either way. in the very first scene of the show, rick tells shane that he and lori have been having a rough time, that she always seems pissed at him and he doesn't know why. this lack of understanding between them only seems to build over seasons 1 and 2, no matter how hard they're both trying.

that being said, i do think rick had every intention of trying to work things out with lori. he said as much when he was talking to her (to himself) on the phone after she died. specifically, he was going to get them safe first, and then he would "put it back together" as in, work on fixing their relationship. he was angry with her, and extremely hurt, but he still loved her, and at no point do i think he had ever really given up on her. that, i think, is part of why she haunted him for so long and why he felt so much guilt. he never really had a chance to tell her all of that before she was gone.

i don't know how long it would have taken them to call it quits had lori survived childbirth but i do think the chemistry and connection with michonne would have still established itself pretty quickly, and i think rick would definitely feel that innate understanding and connection in sharp contrast to how out of sync he and lori have always been. and i think lori would probably clock it as well. BUT, rick is no cheater - in fact, he's so honorable in that regard that i think as long as he was still focused on working things out with lori he would never let himself even think about going there with someone else. and for her part (and, from what I know, unlike her comic book counterpart but don't quote me on that) michonne would never get within a hundred feet of that situation - romantically - until it was completely resolved. this show doesn't really do love triangles (even shane/lori/rick wasn't so much a love triangle as it was a vehicle for rick's growth) so i think rick and lori's relationship would end and resolve itself on its own without any interference.

so with all of that in mind, i think rick and michonne would still have been a slow burn that matched pretty closely with what we saw in canon, except this time instead of rick having to get past the grief of losing lori, it would be just be the decline and resolution of that relationship that had he'd have to work through. while that was happening, i think rick and michonne would still naturally build their relationship, which would be platonic until it wasn't, just like in canon. for example, i think they'd still find it very easy to open up to each other, still be like-minded in most areas, michonne would still bond with carl. they'd still like being around each other and understand each other in ways no one else really could. and then they'd realize they were in love once they were safe and available to examine their own feelings. i think they'd still have been quietly and subconsciously in love with each other for a long while, but unready and/or unable to do anything about it until suddenly they were. so they could very much still mirror canon in that regard.

as for exactly how it would happen beat by beat, well. i'm no fanfic writer lol but i think there could be some subconscious yearning in there as well. as a treat.

The Future

TW: mentions of alcoholism, depression, some vulgar language Authors Note: thank you to all that read my first story, I am so grateful for all the notes! This story is based on Shane's four heart event from Stardew Valley, and just a heads up, this one is gonna be a little angsty. I also wanted to play around with the "I can fix him" trope that Shane gets wrapped up in often. In my opionon, there is no "fixing" someone, and Shane will have to want to get better on his own in this story. I hope to possibly make this into a series where I write about all the bachelors and bachelorettes heart events, but we will see! I hope you enjoy the story and, as always, feel free to leave any constuctive critisim you have!

"Y/N?" Marnie's voice sounded troubled over the phone. You had just come back into your farm house after taking care of your morning chores. Marnie had called, which was odd as you weren't close with the woman. You only spoke in passing, and you had one drunken conversation with her nephew. You had no idea what she could want, but her tone concerned you.

"Is everything okay?"

"No...no, it's Shane. I know you two aren't super close, but I seen you talking to him on the dock the other night, and you're probably busy with the farm, but I could use a hand over here."

This piqued your interest, she was right, you weren't close with Shane, but you two did share some type of "friendship", even if it was drunkenly bonding over a shared existential crisis.

"I'll be right there."

"Thank you so much dear." And with that, you were out the door.

You opened the door to Marnie's ranch and stepped inside. The front parlor was empty, which wasn't unusual. "Hello?" you called out.

"In here" Marnie replied.

You headed to the back of Marnie's home. You spotted her standing in what you could only presume was Shane's room. It was fairly clean, aside from the man in question, who was laying on the floor, surronded by beer cans. His eyes were closed and his breathing was heavy.

"Thank you so much for coming Y/N," Marnie spoke, "he's out cold, is there anything you can do?"

An idea popped into your head. You left Shane's room and returned with a glass of water you had retrived from the kitchen. You poured it on Shane's head and he grumbled.

"What the fuck..." he sat up, clutching his head in his hand.

"Shane! What's the matter with you? All you do anymore is mope around your room and drink beer!" Marnie began to scold her nephew, but he waved her off as you stood awkwardly in the corner, not knowing if you should stay and watch this family ordeal, or go back to your farm.

"You don't get it Marnie." Shane groaned, looking up at his aunt.

"I'm worried about you." She replied.

Shane's bedroom door opened a crack, and you could see his goddaughter Jas peeking her innocent blue eyes in at the scene, yet Marnie and Shane were too distracted to realize they had company. You wanted to protect her from seeing this, but you didn't know how.

"What's your plan? Do you ever think about the future?" Marnie continued.

"Hopefully I wont be around long enough to need a "plan"." Shane spat back. All heads turned towards the bedroom door as it slammed shut Jas had obviously heard what her godfather had said. Your heart sank to your stomach.

"Jesus Shane." Marnie shook her head as she exited the room, you presumed to go comfort Jas.

"Fuck...Jas....I'm so sorry." Shane buried his face in his hands and began to shake. You wanted to help somehow, so you squated down beside him and placed a hand on his shoulder, "Hey..." you began.

"Get out Y/N." He mumbled.

"Shane I-"

"Didn't you hear me? Get the fuck out!" He looked up at you, tears beginning to brim his eyes. You weren't surprised by his anger, he messed up and he knew it. You silently stood up and left his room, shutting the door behind you. Back in the parlor, Marnie was comforting a crying Jas.

"I'm sorry Y/N." Marnie spoke.

"Don't be,' you replied, "it's not your fault." And with that, you left Marnie's ranch with a sinking feeling in your stomach.

You didn't know how to feel, and part of you wishes Marnie never called you in the first place. You weren't mad at Shane, but you were upset, not because he yelled at you, not because he drank to the point of passing out at noon, but because he was putting his family through so much stress. You decided at that moment you would be there for Shane if he needed you, but it wasn't your job to "fix" him. If he wanted to be "fixed", he needed to do it himself, not just for his own benefit, but his family's.

Alright! Parenting styles!

Elliott: he strikes me as a very gentle parent, he doesn’t like to give timeouts unless absolutely necessary since he always feels bad, especially if your kids only a toddler still since Theyer only learning right from wrong and it’s all brand new, he would love to read with your kid and colour pictures with them, he definitely loves doing bedtime with them because thats when the most stories are read! Also loves taking them to the beach to play in the sand or swim for a bit

Harvey: I don’t think he really knows what he’s doing to well, honestly it’s all a learning curve for him but with doing comes learning and he sure can learn, he’ll make healthy meals and a large variety of snacks for your kids and always takes them on walks, he’s the best when it comes to little ouchies and booboos like scraped knees or paper cuts, always has colorful little bandaids on hand for them! Cute little junimo themed ones and woodland creatures, will panic if they break a bone or something serious though, kids can be quite clumsy

Sam: he’s definitely a cool dad, he’s teaching your kids to skateboard and play guitar, feeding them pizza and joja cola. You have to inform him they can’t live off of those things and teach him how to make healthy foods and snacks for the kids but he picks up on it pretty easy, will probably call his mom for advice more then once but she’s always happy to help

Sebastian: he’s not entirely clueless in the baby department since he was around when maru was a baby, he likes to play games with them, teaches them how to play video games when They’re older so he can have a player two, also gets them into solarian chronicles, he’s the ultimate cool dad, will buy your kid a sword (probably a few honestly, it’s a collection they have together now) won’t however let your kids in the mines because he’s heard your stories of what’s down there and he doesn’t want them to get hurt

Shane: he’s been around jas a lot, he’s definitely applying whatever skills he’s gained from that to his own kid, loves to get them new toys. They have a whole Lego chicken coop complete with Lego chickens that they put together as a bonding activity. He does not know how to cook very many things but he will try, he doesn’t want to be seen as useless so he’s definitely putting in the effort! He asks you to teach him how to cook and how to put together cute snack plates (he definitely has those little shape cutouts for veggies so he can make little cucumber flowers and carrot bunny’s for your kids).

Alex: definitely an active parent, literally. Loves taking the kids on jogs and walks through town, will 100% use your toddler as a weight while he’s doing squats, just holds them on his shoulders the whole time, they think it’s hilarious and he gets in a workout, it’s a win win. If your kid wants to help him make breakfast he’s thrilled, tells them all about the nutrition and how it helps with the farm work and keeps your muscles fed and happy, of course he doesn’t deny the kid of sweets either, it’s all about balance,

Some Stardew Villager Relationship Headcanons

What characters may interact in ways we don't see?

Note: This is a repost/updated version of a post from an old blog of mine that I no longer use. Thought that I may as well put it here on my main!

Shane and Emily are quite close, not necessarily "friends" in the common sense of the word, but they are comfortable around each other, and see each other most days of the week, whether at the saloon or around town. Emily can always make Shane smile, and Shane will always listen to Emily's stories and ramblings on about her hobbies.

Maru and the Mullner family get along very well. She - of course - works at the clinic, her shifts sometimes lining up during George and Evelyn's appointments, and has built items to help with accessibility and independence for the family members. Whether it be wheelchair lifts on staircases around town, a machine to grab items off high shelves, or even just a nicer remote control, she uses her technology skills to help them out. She also helps Alex with nutrition and meal planning, and possibly exercise routines as well! She doesn't look for payment for most of the things she does but is often invited around to the Mullners' for dinner (or for some of Evelyn's famous cookies!)

Harvey and Caroline meet up for tea on a regular basis. Caroline was worried that Harvey doesn't take enough time to relax, and invited him for tea after an aerobics class. Though Harvey does, of course, prefer coffee, he enjoys the hot tea, as well as the company of Caroline. They decide to make it a routine, and both are able to calm down and de-stress over their teatimes together.

Elliott cares deeply for Vincent, and gets along well with Sam as well. The two men bond over writing and music, at the library and on the beach. And when Sam and Vincent come to the beach during the summer, Elliott visits during his breaks. Vincent loves the stories that Elliott tells (and sometimes writes) him about the Valley, the sea, and all sorts of wonderful characters and adventures. And Elliott sees himself in Vincent's curious, outdoorsy nature.

Willy and Kent spend a good deal of time fishing together. Sometimes in silence, sometimes chatting about life. Each has a different type of history, a different type of pain, and a different type of wisdom to share, and they know instinctually what the other needs to hear that day. The two get along swimmingly because of that.

Linus has given foraging advice / tips to Leah in the past, especially when she first arrived in the valley. She did know a good amount about foraging prior to her move (specifically how not to, you know, die immediately), but Linus taught her about what is most available in the valley, and where. Leah brings some foraged items up the mountain to share a meal with her foraging mentor now and then.

Do you think Bonnie would want Klaus to fix his relationship with Finn if Finn was alive? I’m a Finn supporter bc damn I’d be pissed too 😂

I'm not sure to be honest. I don't think Klaus building a relationship with Finn would be a priority of Bonnie's, but I think Bonnie would want them to be civil. People draw a lot of comparisons between Finn and Bonnie. I personally disagree with people who feel that way. I think their attitudes on vampirism and life are very different.

Bonnie doesn't like people who hurt people. The vast majority of the people causing harm to innocent people in TVD are vampires. She does not inherently have an issue with vampirism. I think people who believe that are disregarding her initial friendship with Stefan. He has a very dark side but he tries and is capable of goodness. That's what Bonnie appreciates and she wanted the same for Caroline when she turned after killing Carter. Becoming a vampire changes you (look at Vicki!). All Bonnie wants for vampires is that they try. That's why her friendship with Damon in season 6 and her seeing good in him depends on his guilt for hurting Gail. Finn just wants to exterminate vampires and hates himself. Both of their feelings are valid in some ways but they have very different values.

Finn doesn't have any concept of family or friendship. The only bond we see him have in adulthood is Sage. From what we see of her and her brief mentorship of Damon, she also enjoys being a vampire. What happens when she doesn't measure up to the woman he knew back when she was human? Does he kick her off her pedestal? How conditional is his love? Bonnie's issue is with those who hurt people without remorse for selfish reasons which isn't exclusive to vampires (ex: Kai, Shane). Being a good friend and relationship building is essential to who Bonnie is as a character. Finn is exceptionally distant and almost incapable of making connections, partially due to his emotionally incestuous relationship with his mother. His closest sibling relationship is based on a memory of who Freya was as a child. I can't imagine Bonnie being able to encourage Klaus fixing things with Finn when Finn needs to address his own issues with the rest of their family too. Bonnie can't be the whole Mikaelson family's therapist.

SLASHERS PLAYING STARDEW VALLEY

- Bubba would have a crush on Haley but would give up on her. He would likely wind up marrying Penny, Harvey, or Elliott. Bubba wouldn’t bother with the mines, though; he already runs around killing people so he’d rather not fight monsters in the game. Instead he’d prefer to fish, forage, and work on his farm. He would be at full hearts with his farm pet and his animals. He would beat Pierre at the grange festival and would feel a little bad at first. He wouldn’t win the egg hunt on the first try, nor would he get someone to dance with at the flower festival in year 1. This would bum him out but with a little encouragement from Chop Top, he would continue playing. Bubba would obviously take the community center route. Bubba would try to befriend everyone. At the end of year three he would have 3 candles at the shrine.

- Freddy Krueger would choose the insulting dialogue options and go the Joja Route. He wouldn’t seduce anyone. Or, if he did, he would cheat on the whole town. He would enjoy slaying monsters in the mines and would put the mayor’s shorts in the soup at the potluck. He would also put the mayor’s statue in the middle of the town square and the shorts in the grange bin. Freddy wouldn’t care if anyone saw him dumpster diving and in fact would probably get a kick out of NPC’s reactions. He would also give people their least favorite gifts. Basically, Freddy would choose chaos.

- Thomas probably wouldn’t get married either, though he’d probably appreciate Emily since she also sews, and would probably relate to Shane as far as having a difficult life and feeling like he doesn’t fit in. He’d also relate to Penny because of her dysfunctional home life. Like Bubba, he would enjoy his farm and have a good relationship with his animals. He would choose the community center route because the loss of jobs and abandonment of his town would hit close to home; he’d hate Joja on principle. He wouldn’t be as averse to slaying monsters in the mines though. He would probably also have three candles at Grandpa’s shrine by the end of it. He would choose a dog for his pet. Monty wouldn’t understand the game but would be indifferent while Luda would be supportive of Thomas playing, and Charlie would make his disdain for Stardew known.

- Jason miiiiight marry? He’d go for Penny or Harvey if he did, but most likely he’d never marry or he would be roommates with Krobus. He’d have the Forest farm and get by on fishing and foraging mainly. He would be disappointed in Pam and Shane since he’d perceive them as letting down Penny and Jas. He would be wary of Penny at first but appreciate the way she looks after Vincent and Jas.

- Chucky would choose chaos, lose to a monster in the mines, and toss the computer out the window. If Tiffany played, Haley would be on her shitlist. There’s only room for ONE fabulous lady in Pelican Town.

- Vincent Sinclair would make a beautifully designed farm and might even get some aesthetic mods. He would marry Leah because of her interest in art. He would choose the community center route and beautify the town however he can. He wouldn’t put the shorts in the soup but might hang onto Lewis’s statue.

- Let’s be real I can’t imagine Brahms Heelshire playing, but if he did I can see him getting addicted and playing all night. He’d get upset if you tried to take his beloved Stardew away from him. He’d hold your shoes hostage and only return them once he got Stardew back.

- Carrie would enjoy playing. She’d either trauma-bond with Shane, or she’d marry Elliott or Harvey because of how those two are all sweetness and light. She’d befriend Penny. (I’ve mentioned them before but seriously they’d be Carrie’s favorites because they are all sweetness and light and she’d appreciate the characters being kind and welcoming to her in a way that her classmates never were.) She’d probably do multiplayer with Tommy and Sue before her mother bans her from playing. Carrie’s farm would be immaculate and she’d get 2 or 3 candles. She wouldn’t enjoy going in the mines though. If she doesn’t marry a character, she has Krobus move in as a roommate.

- If Jennifer Check didn’t immediately dismiss Stardew as nerd shit after Needy telling her about it, she’d go for Haley. Haley is just as fabulous and sassy as Jennifer and she’d like the challenge. Jennifer would play multiplayer with Needy and Needy’s bf, and would probably go after whatever character they want to marry just because she can. Needy would go for Harvey. I’m not sure who her boyfriend would go for; probably whoever reminds him of Needy. If they don’t go for NPC’s, they just marry each other in-game. Jennifer would probably go in the mines and enjoy killing monsters. Needy would enjoy finding library books and giving artifacts to the museum. At Needy’s insistence they’d go the Community Center route, but if Jennifer was playing alone she would probably go the Joja route. Jennifer would probably be mean to Alex since he’d remind her of the IRL shitheads at school and in their town. (And we all know the emo guy in the movie would date Abigail or Sebastian.)

- Billy and Stu would probably go the Joja route. Stu would want a nice looking farm and Billy wouldn’t give a shit. They’d play multiplayer together, forage together, and go in the mines together. Billy would rage quit in the skull cavern. They’d either marry Haley and Emily or Sebastian and Sam. That is, if they didn’t just end up marrying each other (Stu’s idea). I can also see Stu marrying Shane and Billy marrying Sam (ie, marrying each other’s in-game counterparts). They’d want their girlfriends to play but neither would be interested and would just stop playing after awhile, not that Billy and Stu would really notice. (Though Tatum might begrudgingly play after the game grows on her.) Billy would toast to Elliott’s doom and Stu would toast to his and Elliott’s friendship. Side-note, I can also see Officer Dewey playing. Billy and Stu would have their own strategy worked out for beating Abigail at the egg hunt.

- Ash Williams would play drunk Stardew and say “Hail to the king baby” when he FINALLY beats Abigail at the egg hunt. He wouldn’t be a fan of Elliott since there’s only room for ONE fabulous chin in Pelican Town, and would toast to Elliott’s doom. Theirs would be an enemies-to-lovers romance. He’d also be into Haley because she’s feisty, and would wish he could steal Caroline from Pierre. He would give Rasmodius a wide fucking berth—he doesn’t fuck with magic and wizards. Ash would make snarky comments and would have an endless stream of one-liners while making his way through the skull caverns and the mines. Tbh I can definitely see him dating the entire town, but he’d be smart enough to have the rabbit’s foot on him when he does it. That’s probably the smartest thing he’d do though. He would absolutely sell the Dino egg or donate it to the museum before finding out he could hatch dinosaurs on his farm. Ash would have the wilderness farm. If he had to pick a route, he’d go Joja Route, but not out of choosing chaos or being malicious. It’s because of his dedication to S-Mart and not knowing at first what buying a membership leads to.

Y/n: You are in your senior year of highschool. Ever since the second semester of freshman year you had gotten a bad rep for no reason at all. You have had beef with Gianna Garcia ( a random oc i made just to make the plot more dramaish 😭) ever since 8th grade. You also have beef with Childe because in the beginning of freshman year when you had a crush on him you had overheard in the middle of fifth period that he had killed you in kiss (fuck), marry, kill and that had pissed you off but to be fair in Childe's point of view you were just a random girl who sat behind him compared to the other two girls who he knew that were put in the game one being Gianna which just fueled more hatred towards her. You are a very petty person and can sometimes take things too seriously. You have known your friend group since preschool but you were especially close to Albedo. You and Albedo have had a closer bond because he was the first person you decided to talk to when you started preschool hence he was your first friend though you did meet the others later on through preschool. You and Albedo both love Buzzfeed Unsolved: Supernatural which is why you call yourself Shane since you didn't really believe in ghosts and Albedo called himself Ryan since he was a believer. Another thing about your friend group is how you named your group chat The real ghostbusters trust since you all have fascination for the paranormal whether all of you believe it or not. The group is divided into non-believers (You, Xiao, and Aether) and believers. (Albedo, Hu Tao, and Lumine)

Albedo: Albedo is a senior in highschool as well. He's been your friend since preschool and is your number one supporter and always will be. You see him as your brother. Albedo is really smart and really good at chemistry and math. He's the kid that parents always compare their child to and ask "Why can't you be like Albedo?" Even though Albedo is smart and a good student overall he still gets labeled as a delinquent because of you and if we're being honest all your friends get labeled as that because of you and honestly they couldn't give two shits.

Xiao: He's a senior as well. He's a very quiet kid and likes to keep to himself but that doesn't mean that he doesn't like hanging out with the group. He doesn't show it but he loves everyone in the friend group unconditionally. Him and Hu tao are also siblings but they do have a older brother named Zhongli who is a senior but is older than the both of them.

Hu Tao: Hu Tao is a very energetic girl who is also a senior. Hu Tao can't really take things seriously and is always trying to be up in school drama. At times though she can be serious and when that happens it's honestly terrifying it's like she's a whole new person. A way of coping for her is humor which is why at most serious times she can't help but crack a joke.

Aether: Aether is also a senior who has a twin sister named Lumine. Aether is the main reason why you're friends with Lumine since in preschool he introduced you to her and had asked you and Albedo if Lumine could also play with you guys which of course you had said yes to at the time. Aether had been friends with Childe during freshman year and the first semester of sophomore year until he stopped being friends with him because of you. He knew that you had a crush on Childe for the longest time and also knew how that one time where he had acted like a dick to you. When he had found out what Childe had said he immediately cut him off and stopped being friends with him. Even though Aether cut him off Childe still follows Aethers socials including his private twitter account which Aether forgot to take him off.

Lumine: Lumine is in her senior year. She can be quiet at times but loud at other times. Which is why she considers herself a ambivert. For some odd reason Lumine had dated Ayato in sophomore year and his sister Ayaka after they broke up. (also Ayaka and Lumina aren't dating anymore they broke up but they're still friends) Lumine is a spiritual person who believes in the paranormal which is the complete opposite of Aether.

Hi friend!!! In fact, I do have headcanons about shane the best character 🫣 The first part is headcanons along the line (they follow the story line) the next bit is more headcanony? yeah <3

Shane ♔

this bit is like before his mother dies

-As a kid he's a picky eater (that's the first thing off the top of my head sorry 😭) Like the chef is running back and forth cause shane said he didn't want whatever it was they made. Later on he just gives up and has a small list of the limited foods baby Shane will eat

-He loved adventure; playing pirate, pretending to be a dragon, and climbing into high places were some of his favourites. Before they lose a good chunk of the staff, he'd rope some of them into his games and get them to build different props for his imaginary adventures.

-Like any younger brother would, he messes with Drina a lot. And like any younger sibling would, the second that Drina retaliates he's calling for his mother.

-whenever he and Drina fight, their mom would lock them up together inside their playhouse (the green and pink one from The Book of Shane: Venom) until they made up (not rlly but shh 🤫)

-A bit of a sad one, but when their mom first gets sick, Drina starts getting back at Shane because she knows he can't get any help 😔

Moving on-

-By the time Drina is stuck with the bonding sickness, almost all that happiness is gone

-when's she's stuck in bed he comes and tells her all these whimsical stories or he talks to her about all the places they'll visit when she gets better

-he also has to convince himself-he just really wants to get out the castle

-we already know he thought about running away and he knows it's very serious but there's a small part of him that thinks "it's just another adventure right?" "all my adventures have been inside the castle, this is the same thing except it's real." He's trying to help himself out ok? 😭

-but then Zerif shows up and shows him a different hell

-you see, if Zerif hadn't pulled up with his cure all potion maybe he would've run away with Drina. Maybe she could be helped even a little bit. Maybe he would've lived some cottage core aesthetic life idk 🤷🏾‍♀️

-All I know is our friend over here wouldn't have gone on a world wide rampage 🙃

-I said this in a previous post, but Shane is absolutely in shock at all the things he gets to see as a Conqueror.

-so before the Conqueror's officially start rampaging, he goes off and tries all these things and eats different foods

-In the towns that they stayed a really long time in, he visits some specific stalls over and over again, spends all his money there and the owners just instantly know him and what he wants

-later on after the Conquerors ravaged said towns he feels really really bad about it.

-and then he meets Abeke

-once they're better acquainted he brings her on his market adventures too and they have so much fun

-just two friends hanging out

-side note: Abeke shows him all the good market stalls and the best food ones while they're in Nilo

-and he's just so happy he's got his first friend in a long time and everythings going so well for him right?

-well not for long 😏

and that's where I leave you for now :D I'll do a part two to shane's headcanons along the line but here for now have some proper headcanony headcanons

-Shane loves reading (you know how I said he likes adventure? He got it from those fantasy books)

-whenever he had a meal that had any speck, shape or form of a food he didn't like? The meal? gone. Out in the trash. Later on when he sees war ravaged places he instead just picks out the part he doesn't like and gives it to someone

-After Gerathon is finished Shane kinda grows to like Grahv. He talks to him and Grahv will just lie down, eyes shut and huff. In a better life if Grahv was summoned naturally Shane would brush his plates and scales to help him clean up

-You know how he escaped on Halawir? It was a revelation for him

-he loved the rush of air

-and he's so upset after cause he can't get the same feeling anymore

-After living in such a hot country that's basically the equivalent of Australia, he's travelling anywhere cold. His favourite place was Arctica until it blew up 😃
