jason was the first slasher i fell in love with, i could seriously ramble on and on about why i love jason.

also in my opinion, of the slashers, he’s one of the more morally sound. he kills people that remind him of the people who let him die. he doesn’t s/a people, he literally has the mindset of an 8-10 year old boy and he just misses his mom. the only reason he started killing is because of pamela, and its what he thought was the right decision because of what his mom told him.

and also!! i think everyone who enjoys jason or even doesn’t enjoy jason should watch the bar scene in part 2.

he also spares ginny (the woman in the bar scene, a child psychologist) once she puts on his moms sweater because he LITERALLY ONLY WANTS TO DO WHAT HIS MOM TOLD HIM. HES LITERALLY JUST A MAMAS BOY WHO WANTS TO BE GOOD IN THE ONLY WAY HE KNOWS HOW.

he’s simply a scared kid who cant process death and is killing because hes hurt and he wants his mom to be happy. the people he looked up to and thought of as friends let him die, he just wanted them to feel how hurt he is.

tldr jason is my favorite, i think he deserves a less sexualized and more loving fanbase, and fuck pamela voorhees :]
