Do you have any headcanons on Jason's childhood? Besides the wholesome stuff with Pam just generally good and bad

Jason didn't have too much of a childhood, not in the normal sense. Because of his appearance, Pam homeschooled him. She knew kids were cruel and didn't want to put her special little guy through that. Since her husband. ahem. died. She had to raise Jase all by herself, which was hard as hell for the time period (1940-1950) but she made it work! Thankfully, she had some nice women at church that would help her out as best as they could.

Jason was so well behaved, she didn't have too much to worry about! He was a quiet kid- he literally never spoke. It made it challenging sometimes, like when he wasn't feeling well, but she'd do anything for her special boy. i'm sure there was a lot of frustration between either of them when he couldn't communicate verbally, but jason was her world, all she had. She could never be mad at him for something he couldn't help

i think their life was perfectly mundane. Pamela did her best to show Jason the beauty of the world and teach him properly. when she got the job as the cook of camp crystal lake, he was so, so excited to get to spend time out in the woods!! he loved animals and always seemed to bring home strays, so she knew he'd love it. plus, without her working there, there was no way pamela could afford to send him somewhere for camp. she didn't want to leave him, either, she knew that kids and adults alike would be cruel to her sweet boy

i uh. hope thats the kinda headcanon-y stuff you were looking for.
