Imagine going on a picnic with Hugh

Hugh looked down at the food, some of it you had made and some of it he had made. It was stuff that both of you like as you had agreed to try stuff the other liked. A sort of compromise. It was a beautiful array.

“Well, this looks fantastic, Y/N.” He picked up a plate. “Can’t wait to try it.”

You smiled brightly and picked up a plate of your own. It was a beautiful day out, of course. Every day was since it was the same day. Some of Hugh’s bees floated around, dancing around the wildflowers. It was the perfect picnic with the perfect cutie, and you told him such.

“Me?” He looked genuinely shocked and was very blushy. “You can’t be serious.”

“Of course I am, silly.” Your laugh sounded beautiful. “Who wouldn’t like you? You’re really cute and you’ve got such a kind and sunny personality.”

“I’m cute? Clearly you haven’t looked in a mirror. And your personality is utterly attractive. I don’t know why anyone wouldn’t like you.”

You blushed as well and kept eating. It was a little longer of silence before you heard giggling from a large tree nearby. Soon enough Olive stepped out.

“Hugh and Y/N sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g!” She started giggling and ran away singing. She was definitely going to tell.

You looked at High with an exasperated look before the both of you got up to chase after her.

“Olive! You come back here!”

When you first get to the loop, you two are just friends

After a while of doing chores together, you two become the dynamic duo of the group

Need to go to the village to run an errand for Miss P? Hugh’s by your side having a conversation he could only have with you and you could only have with Hugh

Pretty soon, Hugh never left your side

Because of your healths weakness Miss P often let’s you off the hook for a lot of your chores, so you’ll find yourself outside going back and forth from reading to gardening and then back to reading

You can bet that Hugh would find every and any excuse to go and hang out with you

The flowers need to be pollinated

My bees are getting restless, they need some fresh air!

Yeah, sure Hugh, it’s your bees that want to go outside

It’s only a matter of time before Hugh convinces you to sneak out after dark

You sneak out of your room and meet Hugh in the massive garden that you guys have been tending to this whole time

You two are laying in the garden, staring at the night sky

Hugh is looking at you instead of the sky, listening to you go on and on about astronomy

About all of the starts, all of the planets, and everything in between

Hugh musters up all of the courage in his body to say something about how much he adores you, trying to come up with a witty pick up line to do with they stars or something

The second you pause to take a breath he jumps in, cause he doesn’t want you to think he’s interrupting you, but he wants to tell you so bad how he feels

The words start escaping his mouth before he even knows he’s talking

It’s just a jumble of words that you don’t understand at first (frankly, neither does he)

Soon you realize what he said and then you starts talking as fast as you can so he doesn’t think that you don’t feel the same, because you like him too.

You say that you like him back

He’s your best friend and you wouldn’t mind if you two were more than best friends

Within one night, you guys go from Dynamic Duo to Power Couple

Everyone thinks that you two are perfect for each other

When you’re not feeling too well, Hugh goes out of his way to make you happy

Well, more out of his way

You guys will go in the garden and you’ll relax under a tree reading a good book, while he tends to the garden, asking you where this plant should go, or what he should do with this bush

I really hope that you like this and that it was worth the wait!!

Hi guys,

I’ve made the very hard decision to put all my writing for MPHFPC on hiatus for now. It’s become very hard for me to write anything for the fandom and given that I haven’t finished the book series yet, I don’t think I should write anything until I’m caught up to speed. I know that there are a lot of requests in my inbox for this fandom and I’m so sorry, but I want to be able to put out content you guys will enjoy.

Their Achilles and Patroclus (Victor Bruntley x GN Reader)

Sorry, this took so long! I forgot about it for a while and the more I wrote the more devastating the ending was gonna be so I decided to publish this unfinished because I don't wanna put you through that and I don't wanna put myself through that.

Summary– When Jake comes to the loop he noticed something, or more so two someones was missing, being forced to observe the painful hole they left | Both drowning in the repetitiveness of the loop Victor and Y/n plan on leaving together, and both escape their cages in ways they'd never have thought.

"Do you think we'll ever be able to leave?" Y/n asked as Victor joined them on the roof in front of their shared room's window. "I don't think I'll ever be sure. I'm not sure I can take being here much longer." Victor tilted his head upward towards the clear star-filled sky. "I'm planning on leaving tomorrow if you'd like to go with me." Victor kept his eyes on the sky as he slid his hand closer to Y/n's, he hesitated before grabbing the other's hand. Y/n glanced down as he intertwined their hands before gazing at his friend's side profile. "I'd like that."

Jacob sat awkwardly at the table, trying not to draw his gaze to the empty porcelain plate that sat at the empty head of the table. He cleared his throat as he readjusted himself in the wooden chair. "So, this isn't some messed up dream, right?" He asked as he cast his eyes around the table, no longer able to stop himself from staring at the empty end. "I'm sorry, what's the point of setting an empty spot?" He asked turning his head to the other end of the table to face Miss Peregrine.

Y/n sat on his knees as tears burned his eyes. The hollowgast laying dead not too far away from him. Nearly forgetting to breathe as they looked over Victor's limp body before them. They ended up sitting there over his eyeless love's body for what felt like hours of the sun burning into their skin before Fiona and Hugh found the two. The two lovers looked over their friend with tear-stained faces as they watched as Y/n blubbered and sputtered over their own forbidden love with crimson liquid dried and stained over their hands. They both knew what it was, but they would rather not feed the dark thoughts that were already bubbling.

Jake sat nervously on one of the sofas in the sitting room as they waited on Horace to get comfortable. He couldn't help but notice that strange outlier again, except this time instead of an empty seat it was in the form of a knit blanket all of the children refused to touch. They avoided gazing at the greek letters designed into it as if it would scorch their souls if they did, it was unusual. He inspected the open blanket, αγαπητή μου it read. He didn't know what that meant but he knew it must mean something important, important enough to be forever captured in an item of comfot.

After what happened to Victor the rest of the home walked around Y/n like they were made of glass, they were confused and worried as they watched them sit by Victor's bedside crocheting. They didn't know what they were making or why, but they knew it was his way of mourning and that it shouldn't be disturbed. They felt awful, while they each mourned their friend in their own way the children knew Bronwyn and Y/n had it the hardest. They saw the way the light left Bronwyn's eyes the moment Y/n returned with her brother in their arms, Hugh and Fiona's tears struck trailing behind their sluggish form.
