Something I was randomly thinking of while scrolling through the 'Humans are space orcs' tag.
Aliens are perplexed about a human's physical abilities and appearance (and mental strength but that's for another time), right?
I want to know how humans react to this knowledge. I want to see a human struggling to comprehend why aliens find humans scary. Aliens. The galactic creatures that have tentacles, horns, multiple eyes, could be insanely tall, have claws, sharp teeth, yada yada. And yet humans terrify them? Humans. These short, fleshy creatures that have limited ability with their skinny legs and their small fingers. These squishy beings that can barely understand their own species and can (almost) never get along. These weird abominations that either don't die despite falling off of a mountain side or instantly destroys half of their bodily system by falling down a few flight of stairs.
Of course, humans are the one's thinking this way. Many of them don't consider themselves to be anything special or even interesting and then suddenly, aliens think that they are amongst the most vicious creatures in the universe??? They don't understand why??? And there’s just confusion on both sides.
I'm just rambling at this point but I really just wanted to write this down.

"You...think I'm scary?" The human pointed to xemself.
Tynid nodded. How could xe not? Humans were scarily powerful. They were durable, had good endurance, fast, agile, strong, a predator, and were venomous. Xe is just scratching the surface, if xe was being honest. So why did the human look so...unsure?
"I...really don't get why you all are scared. I mean, look at you!" The human gestured to Tynid. "You're tall, have horns, has a tail that could probably snap my bones in one swing- just." The human fell silent.
"I'm...we're not that scary, we can't be that scary compared to other sentient life out there. It just doesn't make sense..."
Tynid didn't know how to feel. Why is the human so convinced that xe wasn't scary? Why is xe so convinced that they were all scarier? Was xe unaware of xes own prowess? Were all humans like this?

Also, what do aliens think of countries and the different languages? I'm curious what would happen if an alien met someone from the Nordic countries or from Southeastern Asia or from an African country. Just some food for thought.

💜Relationship w Dragon Donnie head-canons💜
- His favorite pet names for you are things like treasure, jewel, princess, etc.
- He is incredibly protective (and jealous.) if you 2 are out anywhere you can bet he has at least 1 hand on you.
- He brings you little things 24/7. “I found this gem of your favorite color and thought you might want it.” “Here is this cool piece of metal I found.”
- He makes you tons of gadgets and gizmos and is very happy when he sees you use them.
- He will randomly take you on flights around the city, especially at night.
- After awhile he has difficulty sleeping w/o you, he gets nightmares and will call you to make sure you are safe.
- Protect anything purple you own. “DONATELLO! WHERE IS MY PURPLE MUG?!” *quietly puts the mug behind his back.* “dunno.”
- Absolutely loves cuddles. (with permission.) and will pull you into his lap while he works.
- like I said before, he’s incredibly jealous. If he sees that someone is eyeing you or hitting on you, he will throw his arm over your shoulders, grab your hand, hug you from behind, or wrap his wing or tail around you.
- Wishes you could steal his hoodies, but with the 4 arms and the wings it’s… difficult. So he makes you a hoodie exactly like his but without any extra arm or wing holes.
- Gives you cheek/forehead while walking past.
- He likes some of the simple pet names like darling, love, and dearest. He also likes my knight and my dragon.
- Randomly bites you. No reason.
- Will ramble about his inventions and projects while on dates.
- He keeps a horde of things you like, like books? He has a mini library that he refreshes weekly. Like a specific food or drink? He keeps the lab stocked up. Stuffed animals? Has a corner dedicated to them. You get the idea.
- He struggles with communicating his thoughts and problems but he tries his best.
- Randomly picks you up. Not to go places or to do things, but just because he can.

its 11 at night and you and your boyfriend of 3 years , lee heeseung, are in the bedroom. heeseung is a big gamer and usually spends his nights on the gaming chair, eyes glued to the screen and one side of his ears covered with his headphones while the other kept open in case you called for him.
“nahh bro i bet 5 bucks im winning this game”
heeseung chuckled as he spoke into the microphone of the headphones. you on the other hand were scrolling endlessly on instagram, waiting for your boyfriend to finish up his “last round” even though he said that like hours ago.
“hee, when are you doneee”
you whined as you turn to his direction and pouted. he covered his microphone and turned the chair to you
“soon baby soon i promise this is the last game”
heeseung whispers, not wanting his friends to know he had his girl over. he gave you the same pleading look , begging you to not get mad. you gave in and nodded, sighing softly.
minutes later, you hear heeseung groaning and slamming his fist on the table. he definitely lost the game as you saw the words ‘eliminated’ on his pc screen. heeseung turned his chair to your direction and opened his arms as he manspreaded, expecting you to cuddle with him.
“oh so you only want me when you die in game huh?”
you rolled your eyes and continue moving your fingers on your phonescreen
“shut that pretty mouth of yours and cmere”
heeseung teased you, knowing damn well you’d give in especially when he was smirking at you. you sighed and got up and straddle his lap , wrapping your arms his torso.
heeseung grinned before wrapping his arms around your waist and planting soft kisses on your neck
“thats a good girl”
heeseung whispered and you could feel a smirk on your neck. hes always like this when hes alone with you (and thank goodnesss for that) you giggle before whispering back
“you’re lucky i love you”
finally wrote after procrastinating. anyways, karma’s a bitch 🥶😰

How to make the plot beautyful?
A great question worthy of an equally-great answer: how can we as writers make our plots not just good, but beautiful?
What NOT To Do:
String a bunch of random conflicts together
Start with a clear bad guy & good guy (and maintain that relationship throughout the story)
Create plotholes on purpose (then tell yourself that it adds to the “mystique” or think you’ll answer the question later)
Only create story arcs for the main characters and not the side characters because they’re “not as important”
Ignore your own world’s fictional rules without a good reason
Include subplots that don’t support your main story arc
Rely on an outline to rigidly dictate your story’s plot
What To Do:
Start with a simple, compelling premise
Choose a base plot structure to loosely follow (Freytag’s Pyramid, The Hero’s Journey, Three Act Structure, Dan Harmon's Story Circle, Fichtean Curve, Save the Cat Beat Sheet, Seven-Point Story Structure, etc.)
Set up your beginning with your end (the beginning is the question, the end is the answer)
Think about cause and effect; allow each scene to build off the beginning into the end (ensuring each moves the plot and its clear central conflict)
Including the 5 W’s ( ‘who’, ‘what’, ‘where’, ‘why’ and ‘when’) will give the readers a clear sense of setting and ensure the story is more solid
Most importantly: remember that your plot doesn’t drive your characters, your characters drive your plot. Their development over time with their hardships is what will separate your story from average fair.

made tea for him and did breathing with him
You low key just coil yourself around him and hold him
Rubbed his arm and breathed until he felt better enough to talk to you

I fear my skull will burst with the abundance of words contained within. They leak through the cracks, dampening my hair with phrases of light and death.
I cry a stream of metaphors, the tears fall with no destination. I cough letter-mixed blood into my palms, alphabet soup cupped carefully, never letting any spill.
There is no paper to wipe them onto, and in its lack my creativity only grows.
