Yuu((clawthorne)): *see the little cub drawing a plant glyph perfectly* there you’ve done perfect job little cub this is a symbol for a plant glyph give it a tap on the center and a flower or even some vines will appear
Cheka: *excitedly* Ok Oba-tan *gently taps the middle of the symbol a bouquet of golden lion lilies blossoming from the paper* i did it i did i learned my first glyph and we have these kinds of flowers back home, what other kinds of glyphs you can teach me?

for character ask: minimus
First impression: I legitimately don't remember super clearly! I liked him first readthrough, but was really focused on Rodimus so it wasn't til the second or third time I reread the series I was super paying attention to his arc ngl.
Impression now: favourite boy. favouritest boy. picks him up and holds him up like that one lion king shot. Look At My Boy. Okay, but for real, he is now tied for joint favourite character and I love him sooo much.
Favorite moment: I mean. Has to be "fully deserved" right. It's so good. But I think a close second is actually from the prose stories, the bit where he just neatly eviscerates Rodimus' failings to Rung in that matter-of-fact way. Absolutely BRUTAL.
Idea for a story: god I really need to write something with that glaring massive gap of him and Verity working together on his ship some time. Like we do not poke at that incredibly huge hole in canon enough. It's such a WILD thing to be canon the longer you think about it.
Unpopular opinion: Minimus is kind of an asshole and this is really important to his character. Any discussion of him which smol-bean-dad-ifies him is just complete fanon, tbh. He takes his issues out on the people around him extensively in series one, he is distrustful and judgemental of basically all his peers, and he refuses to be straightforward with people- his arc requires he start from this point so it can be an arc.
Favorite relationship: him and Rodimus. Like I ship it but it doesn't even HAVE to be a ship to be clear; their canon dynamic is just really interesting and fruitful. There's just so much more tension there which pushes the story forward than there is when it largely gets replaced with the Rodimus-Megatron dynamic later on, IMO.
Favorite headcanon: I have no idea if the timeline actually fits, but I like to think that Rewind got his official combat exemption, at least, around the time Minimus got the role as Magnus, what a funny coincidence.

there are a lot of things that eddie loves about you.

he turns, hand pushing aside some clothes. countless of band shirts, one that he's sure hasn't been washed since 1979, a lion's costume, and his collection of flannel shirts — ranging from pink to red.
"holy shit," you peak from his shoulder, placing a damp hand on his waist. "a pink flannel. oh, when and where did you wear that, edward?"
eddie rolls his eyes, finds your excitement awfully endearing. "uncle wayne's friend had a wedding and his bride wanted us to wear pink, so," he takes it out seeing as it'd piqued your interest, and carefully hands it to you. "aw, would you look at that, pink is so your color, babe."
you take it from his hand, turning your back from him to untuck the towel from your body. he sees that you've already worn your underwear, which makes him frown in dismay because lo and behold, it's one of the things he loves about you. and it would have been nice to see it even for a split second.
but still, when you shove your arms into the sleeves and hang it around your shoulders, eddie blushes at how small you look in his clothes.
your hands are barely seen, lost in the ginormous pink sleeves. it goes halfway through your thighs, almost like a dress from behind. your arms extend and you spin to face him, closing it up until you leave three buttons unbuttoned.
"'s cute," you toy with the sleeves. "smells. but it's cute,"
fuck. you look cute. absolutely cute. like, an elf in a field of flowers, picking up a daisy and putting it in their ear as they're being bathed by sunlight, cute. the fire in his cheeks spread like a wildfire all throughout his chest, his heartbeat rapid the longer he stares at your cherubic glow.
taking you by surprise, eddie suddenly leans down and wraps his arms around your waist, lifting you. you yelp in his ear, followed by a small laugh, gasping when he abruptly drops the both of you onto his lumpy mattress.
"oh!" he props himself up with his elbows, forearms on either side of your head to brush the wet hair out of your cheeks. your hands cone up to pull them behind him, tucking them behind his ears and running your fingers through his unkempt bangs.
another thing that he loves about you — your careful touches.
"what's gotten into you, rockstar?"
the nicknames. the nicknames! oh, call me your husband, already.
"nothing!" he slots himself between your legs, dipping so that his nose presses against the slope of your neck. "you jus' look so cute baby. couldn't help it."
finally, he drops all his weight on you, slithering his hands beneath the flannel to place them on the warm flesh of your torso, massaging it. eddie's puckered lips trace heat along your jaw and collarbone, his nose grazing your apple-scented hair; addicting, a thing he loves yet again.
"ooh, you have a crush on meeee," you tease, running your hands along his back to push him deeper. "you so have a crush on meee. you wanna kiss me sooooo bad. you're such a sap."
he pulls away, though only to graze his lips against yours and wrinkles his nose at you. "you just found out? sweetheart, i've had a crush on you since i was a kid. do you live under a rock?!"
your laugh was next. shit, it's like falling off the edge of the cliff; that exhilarating thrill feeling of your soul leaving your body, your arms spread as you fall down the air, wind pistolwhipped off your chest. he's falling in love all over again by that simple laugh.
you take his face into your hands and place your lips against his. eddie hums, tilting his head and moves deeper, his nose smushed against your cheek, all his senses focusing on your warm, sweet mouth that engulfs his own.
he pulls away with a gentle click, your taste on the tip of his tongue, and he smiles down at you.
"you should wear my clothes more often," he claims, his thumb grazing the material of his flannel while the rest of his fingers touch you.
"remind me to get rid of my clothes then," eddie chuckles, hugging you once more. another thing he loves.

SEE i initially thought of them all as sheep, but i genuinely enjoyed the idea of mike as a lion bc 1. he is considered the lion of the tetramorph, so it makes sense but also 2. a lion on a farm is just. so funny to me. like there's a lot of other large animal to protect a flock out there (dogs or llamas for example), and a lion would just be so wild but also so cute for that role!! this would make mike the odd one out if the rest were farm animals, so i went half and half - uriel is a goat while raphael is a barn owl! i thought of making uriel an ox, given how that is his "face" in canon, but i just think goat suits his personality in this au better and it makes him and gabe kind of similar (uriel is just noticeably less fluffy) raph's came quick tho, bc the minute that anon said "bird" i realized his helmet already looks like a barn owl!!! i just know he's made a big fluffy bed for himself up in the rafters lol

Opens with a scene like the opening of the lion king but with tape recorder sounds in the background.
Annabelle stands tall holding a smol Jon like the scrunkly wet cat he is. Elias walks up and smears green paint on his forehead. Avatars of the other fears come up in turns and smear some paint/color/mark on Jon’s forehead.
When Jon’s been marked by all the entities, Annabelle lifts him up into the air, and the view shifts to the fears below. A door opens in the sky, screams fill the air, and the screen goes dark.
Smol Jon suddenly appears and green eyes open all around him, within him, and on him; he looks like a biblically accurate angel.

Okay so
Mothwing X Leafpool X Feathertail X Nightcloud kids

So I ended up doing two of these, LOVED trying to figure out the appearance / genes of the group of four, it was a fun challenge. I also almost mixed up Sombra/Chrysalis as Sombra/Cadence, but thankfully I caught it early enough to fix it 💀
First up is Scarab! Son of Sombra and Chrysalis. You may notice the odd bits, being his legs, wings, and tail, those are just from my personal headcanons about Changelings, in a more mlp style, he would have the holes in his legs, tattered wings, and a tattered mane. In my style, he's got those insectoid legs, a scorpion tail, dragonfly wings, and lil stubs on the top of his head where, once he's a bit older, antennae will unfurl, seeing as he's "royalty".
And then from the Mothwing x Leafpool x Feathertail x Nightcloud litter, we've got Honeydrizzle and Lionstep! Honey is shorter and mega floofy, gotten from Moth and Leaf, with the feathering in her tail from Feather (obviously). Her colors mostly come from Feathertail and Nightcloud, but she's also a calico, hence the orange bits that come from Moth and Leaf. Her markings mostly inherit from Feathertail, with her legs being a bit more similar of Mothwing's. I'd like to think she went on to become a medicine cat, since she's too fluffy and smol for the moors, and her fur is too thick to really swim without her getting heavily weighted down. She could be a warrior in Thunderclan, but of them, I really feel like Feather or Night would carry the kits instead of..yknow, the two medicine cats, given the culture.
Lionstep is T A L L. He's got an angled face, but really fluffy cheeks. He's a lot more serious than his sister, and a lot of his genetics come from Leafpool's corner of the family. He's tall and lanky, like Nightcloud, and he's got her tail, with the fluff genes coming in through on the tip, which combined with his coloring makes him look like a lion. Maybe he's got some shaggy fur on the back of his neck too.
The three of these guys will be going up for adopt on my ToyHou.se in a few hours, so be sure to keep your eye out for that if interested!

I can’t believe the Mickey Mouse Club was a thing in Korea that just seems so strange to me. It’s weird to me to see the now members of nct singing Disney songs like Mark as a kid and little Haechan and jaemin and smol jisung singing songs from the lion king and under the sea in Korean idk and then the girl rookies singing high school musical it felt strange because I grew up with that stuff I remember seeing high school musical for the first time one tv and it was such a big deal it seems and idk seeing idols or like rookies do things that relate to things that I grew up with. I mean they probably grew up with it too cause we’ll mark is the same age as mean but idk it felt so weird to watch and know that the Mickey Mouse club was a thing. Idk what the exact word I’m thinking of or looking for is but seeing those video made me feel kinda nostalgic?? Idk but Mark grew up and lil jaemin and lil jisung with his nose :( bro I truly adore mark he’s such a frien feeling guy he’s shaped like a frien and I just adore him in such a happy frien way 🥺

So, I am looking at names and for the first born son of Leona’s i like Kion or Amir and for his first born daughter(second child) i like Amari or Ava (watch me use all four names for my fanchildren)
For the first born son, he looks a lot like Leona and has my eyes but also some freckles cause like my genes, i freckle easily so that’s why i like to stay inside a lot, also cause i burn so easily
He is mischievous as a child and learned from Ruggie how to be a lil mence and loves running with Jack cause when he was smol Jack did his morning jogs with him so that Leona and us could sleep in, he also loves to play Magifit with Leona but loves to come to us to vent and get his hair braided for snacks and comfort, also for love and stories and when he has a nightmare or is scared he sleeps in our bed cause he knows that we wouldn’t let anything happen to him
The second born daughter looks more like a mix of us, Leona’s eyes, but a darker red hair than me, kinda like Cheka’s hair, and more of a tan and of course, she freckles. She seems more like Leona’s personality with smug and lazy and was born probably when first son was around two ish, and of course cause we love Ruggie as an uncle and Jack as a loveable babysitter, she knows them too, and Ace and Deuce are the gullible uncles and Grim is funny uncle
She and first son are great friends but also a chaotic duo, like Leona and Ruggie and she also loves Ruggie and she also takes lots of naps with Leona and loves to read books and if she was a guy and went to NRC, then she would’ve been the next dorm leader of Savanaclaw, but she does go to the female school version of NRC and is the leader of the magifit club there, and is really good at sports
Third child is baby(unless i plan on a fourth) and is sweet and kind and loves their cousin Cheka and has Leona’s hair and eyes but lighter than him a bit, like second daughter, and they were born when second child was three and they love their older siblings and is a happy lil lion cub and very adventurous and loves to go hiking and going new places and loves to help make food and wants to be like their father
They also look up to their siblings and is very good at school and is very cunning and good at keeping secrets and is a very pretty kid(and when he goes to NRC he gets sorted into Savanaclaw and takes Leona’s title of doem leader and if Ruggie has any kids, then they are vice dorm leader)
Now im imagining Leona and us with our three(maybe four) kids(when they’re smol) cuddiling on a bed and we’re asleep but he slowly wakes up and just feels happy and his heart flutters happily as he looks at his small pride(plus Ruggie because i would probably have him hire Ruggie cause Ruggie deserves nice things and he’s basically doing what he did in NRC and this time paid very nicely and plus he loves the kiddos)
And just kisses our forehead gently and looks down at his children and he never thought it would happen and just is happy and he loves his small family and we wake up to seeing him looking at us with a small smile and he murmurs softly that he loves us and gives us a forehead kiss and helps wake up the kids and is a good dad

I have finally downloaded this app!!! I have been meaning to respond for like a week but rl stuff and not knowing how to use this website actively kept me from it
But lo and behold I see a draft of the new chapter of Jinx's Hellcat, my day just became better, Papa Rengar is coming

😂😂😂 I was just messing around with their supposed heights (Silco is around 5'9") and my estimate of Lux's and like can I just say that little gremlin Jinx being protected by all this intimidating tall people is everything to me (also I have her exact height, so I feel kind of attacked and intimidated at the same time)
I just imagine everyone seeing Rengar looking up at this tall lion man being like "Ha, I see where she gets it from" and realizing Lux is not quite done growing, at some point when Rengar becomes a more common sight he hits people with the "I am on the smaller side for my species" and everyone just bluescreens jsjsjsjsjsjs🤣
Sorry I think about Rengar to much, he is my beloved son and I really like his character even though Riot really doesn't
I'm glad you've been liking my works, especially Jinx's Hellcat since it gave me a neat story addition I hadn't even thought of! The current WIP for that one is a struggle through the tears of the two finally meeting (practically dusted myself imaging Lux giving a shaky "Papa?" when first seeing Rengar).
Hoping that the Void event gives some juicy lore to play around with (already got my eyes on the new champ to see how I can work that in). That fics been fun to write even if I don't know where it's going, latest chapter I'm working on actually brings in the intro to our good friend Warwick (....or at least a void variant)!
Can't believe I'm shorter than Jinx the smol gremlin.....
I can understand really loving a character even if it seems like the creators (or others) don't seem to, experienced it many times over the years watching anime. Still not over the fact of what Devilman Crybaby did to my boys Ryo and Akira, they were perfect in the old OVA series and then....😔
Anyway to stop myself from going on a tangent, I hope to have some fun stuff with Rengar and the gang once he gets fully introduced to the group. Hope you enjoy what's to come with that one along with any of my other fics you read!

Can you help me out a bit, i haven't watched vld past half of s6 and am trying to establish a timeline for Lotor but hitting a few roadblocks. Unless i am mistaken it is suggested that Lotor saved alteans for his colony 10,000 years ago but like wasn't Lotor born until after Honerva was Haggar and was growing up during that time(also it's probably just me but 10,000 years just feels too much especially when from flashbacks it feels the technology and society has remained mostly the same)
the Lotor timeline is kind of a mess and galra lifespans are also a mess (Lotor's governess was the same when he was a smol kid as we met her in the start of s6) and like.
The one thing you can be certain of is that Honerva was very very pregnant when she became Haggar, and I think gave birth at the same time that Zarkon was leading the destruction of Altea.
Given his age and how the colony is explained... I'd say it's been only a thousand-ish years that the colony has existed, and maybe 300 for the second colony? Like, it started to exist after Romelle was born, and we know that the Castle of Lions was built 600 years beforehand (and Coran's grandfather helped design it), so Alteans are long-lived.
The most frustrating part about this whole thing in figuring out the timeline is that we have no clue how long Alteans or Galra are supposed to live. I'd say, based on context clues, the Castle of Lions was built for Voltron (otherwise that's... weird to have it specially made for the Lions and yet be centuries before the comet appeared), and Allura states at the start of the series that Zarkon should not be alive after 10,000 years.
So. To answer your question...
Honerva was late-stage pregnant when she became Haggar, and either during or just after Zarkon destroyed Altea is when Lotor was born.
When Lotor was a young lad (like, by Human standards 10) he confronted Zarkon bc he was a genius who wanted to learn about his mother and knew she was Altean, but not that she was Haggar.
Somewhere when Lotor looked his canon age he was put in charge of a planet and then, after Zarkon saw he wasn't subjugating the people or destroying the planet, Zarkon had that whole planet obliterated.
Assume Lotor didn't start the colony until one thousand years ago because he looks the same age as canon when he does, and didn't start to harvest their quintessence until probably 300 years ago, and how long Humans live is rather short when compared to the lives of the rest of the universe.
Also yes, 10,000 years feels like too long a time and definitely isn't helped when we have no frame of reference to how long Alteans, Galra, or anyone else not-Human in the universe lives.
As for how Lotor met his generals... we're on our own for that one, as no answer was given. Same for when he figured out about the second comet, and when he learned Haggar and Honerva are the same (he was told by her at end of s6, but admitted that he already knew).
