Ciel Phantomhive

Is questioning how you are able to not hold a grudge against the demon who turned your sister into a demon as well as killing your entire family. Are you sure you’re mentally okay? His parents were killed in a fire and he’s seeking revenge on the arsonists and murderers.

He noticed your sense of smell when you entered the room and you saw and smelled Ciel getting more and more angry. You went over and calmed him down before it got to a point of no return. He asked how you knew and you said you could smell it.

He probably loves your cooking a lot. When dinner time rolls around, he finds himself more excited for the main course rather than the dessert. Sebastian is grateful to you because the more healthy he eats, the better his overall attitude is.

When he meets Nezuko for the first time, he immediately questions the muzzle. You explain that it’s to lead her away from the tempting smell of mortal blood because she is still a demon. By the end, she gives him a hug and a nuzzle before returning to the box.

Ciel is concerned when Sebastian tells him that he can sense more demons lurking around the manor because they can sense your pure soul. He puts the house on mandatory lockdown and will order his butler to fight off all the demons outside.

Sebastian Michaelis

Since you are his significant other and he’s a demon, he probably already knows about the horrible news of your family. It’s disgraceful to him. Even demons here were more sensible and reasonable than that.

He noticed your sense of smell when you had a very worried expression on your face and you ran to the kitchen. There, Sebastian found out that Bard was trying to blowtorch the meat so that it could ‘cook faster’.

From then on, you volunteered to help the chef in preparing meals. You told him that it would be volunteer work rather than being paid because you love cooking for others. Moving forward, the other noble families envied the Phantomhive Manor for their excellent food.

When he met Nezuko for the first time, it was a truly interesting sight. He is very tall and she’s very small. Eventually, she rushes in and gives him a big hug. He’s taken aback, but starts giving her head pats in return.

Because of what he is, he’s naturally very protective of you. You have shown him that love is possible, even for a demon. So when he senses more demons lurking around because of the purity of your soul, you get special guard-dog privileges.

Alois Trancy

Is also questioning how you aren’t actively seeking revenge on the one who murdered your entire family. Hell, he’s even more mad when you tell him than you were when you discovered the bodies.

He notices your incredibly strong sense of smell when you take a huge whiff of the air and you sense a carriage arriving at the Trancy Manor. You tell him that it smells like Lord Ciel Phantomhive and his butler Sebastian. He sends a weirded out look to you.

He absolutely loves the food you make. In fact, he’ll throw a tantrum if you’re not the one who made his food for either breakfast, lunch, or dinner. He would even offer to pay you to do it everyday. You kindly refuse and say you’d do it for free.

When he meets Nezuko for the first time, he gets annoyed that she has a muzzle on and at one point tries to forcefully take it off. You patiently tell him that it’s for his safety because she’s still a demon and she’s probably stronger than Claude.

When Claude alerts Alois that you are basically a beacon for other demons, he is both angry and worried. You’re the only one who truly understands him and he won’t let you be taken away from him. Claude, go take out the rubbish.

Claude Faustus

Like Sebastian, he probably already knows that you are a person with a very unfortunate past. He’s angry that a person as kind and forgiving as you had to go through such pain. But he’s impressed that you hold no resentment.

He notices your strong sense of smell when you sniff and alert him that Alois is going to get angry in a few minutes. He heads over and gives him some scones you made and tea before coming back and asking how you knew. You explained that you had a gift.

Alois was very happy after eating the scones, so Claude asks if he can receive the recipe. You volunteer to just make them for him whenever necessary if he liked them so much. The both of them are very grateful to you.

When he meets Nezuko, the height difference is very apparent. She has to crane her neck if she wants to look at him in his eyes. Eventually, she motions for him to bend over and gives him a few head pats before leaving.

Again, since he’s a demon like Sebastian, he’s very protective over you. When he senses other demons on the premises trying to get you and your pure soul, he’s angry. He suggests that you remain inside as much as you can so you don’t get attacked.

Undertaker

He offers a proper English burial for your family, free of charge as long as you remain an apprentice in the funeral arts (so technically not for free). He’s happy to see that you don’t hold a grudge against all of demonkind.

He noticed your strong sense of smell when you had to mix the ingredients for the embalming fluid but they didn’t have labels. You opened the containers and took a small whiff from a small distance away. You were then able to make the fluid.

Unlike demons, Grim Reapers need to eat. That being said, he loves the food you make because it just tastes so good. He’s always excited when it’s your turn to cook supper because he knows that he’s gonna be eating good.

When he meets Nezuko, they connect instantly. They both have fairly upbeat attitudes in general, so you all are just the happy trio. Considering Reapers aren’t human, I think it would be fine if you took Nezuko’s muzzle off.

Anyways, he probably knows that you have a pure soul because he reaped souls for a while before becoming the undertaker. He also knows that it’s basically a delicacy to demons, so he makes sure that he either accompanies you outside or that you stay inside with him.

Grelle Sutcliff

This is one of the very few times where she shows heavy remorse because she was probably the one to reap the souls of your family. She tells you that the films of your mother were especially sweet because she spent a lot of time with her family.

Through the films, she probably already knows about your sense of smell. You used it a lot when playing hide and seek with your younger siblings. She saw it in person when you were able to sniff out Sebastian and Ciel in the alleyway (iykyk).

She absolutely loves the food you make. She might even come into the kitchen and help where she can as a bonding experience between the two of you. It’s moments like these where your situation could be mistaken as somewhat normal.

When she first meets Nezuko, she squeals about how adorable she is. She takes her by the hand and puts all sorts of accessories into your sister’s hair. Nezuko seems to enjoy it because she’s not fighting against it.

Like the Undertaker, she probably also knows that you have a pure soul because she reaps a lot of filthy and impure ones. She can tell that you’re not like all the others. She knows that a bunch of demons will try to come after you, so she will do her best to protect you.

Angelina Dalles-Burnett (Madame Red)

Grelle has probably told her about your family since she was the one to reap the souls. Angelina is absolutely horrified that the demon would do something so horrible to a person so kind and good-hearted.

She noticed your strong sense of smell when she came back from an… outing… with Grelle. You were able to smell the blood that was previously on her hands before she washed them. You were also able to smell the anger that was present during the time of her committing the crimes.

She does enjoy the food you make. She would tell you about her day as you both sit in the kitchen, just enjoying each other’s company. It’s usually not normal for a baroness to be in the kitchen, but it’s also not normal for a baroness to murder people.

When she first meets Nezuko, like Grelle she probably smiles in excitement. Your sister doesn’t seem to mind the extra attention or the extra dresses provided to her. You laugh as Angeline makes Nezuko twirl.

Grelle probably informs Madame Red about the purity of your soul and how a lot of demons will most definitely be after it. She’s obviously concerned, but she knows that you are strong enough to at least escape a messy situation if you need to.

✑ During those 'cooking dates', Sebastian often gives you tips and tricks about making the perfect tea, spices for just the right soup, or the secret to baking a scrumptious souffle. Speaking of which, he also takes this opportunity to have a little dance with you for a short while as the food cooks. With one hand, he holds your waist, and with the other holds one of your gloved hands with his own. A phonograph would often be playing in the background as you two waltzed for what seemed like an eternity as Sebastian would often give you a smile-a genuine one, the ones he likes to give when you two are alone.

✑ Running for errands is a weekly chore you and Sebastian do with each other. The demon never misses the opportunity to give you advice when choosing the ripest fruits, best shop for cleaning products, and where the best tea leaves are sold.

✑ When in public, the demon isn't big about PDA; however, he does like to display a few signs to everyone proving you're his. It goes from small kisses on the back of your hand, an arm snaked around your waist, linked arms, and even a bit of flirting.

✑ You're usually the one to finish your shift first, seeing as how Sebastian is often held up by Ciel, seeing as how the boy is practically impaired without the demon. So most of the time, once his young master is in bed, Sebastian is frequently greeted by the sight of you reading a book under the sheets of your shared bed, dressed in your usual nightwear, or the extra wardrobe opening up with the cats littering the floor and you amid it all. Regularly he joins you when you're reading, putting his chin on your shoulder, asking about the piece of literature, or takes a seat next to you and basks in the presence of the small creatures.

✑ As the day finally comes to an end, you regularly lay atop Sebastian's chest, playing with your locks of hair as you fall asleep to the rising and lowering of his chest. The demon surveys the snoozing figure, admiring the delicate features you hold as he gives your forehead a soft kiss before telling you 'Good Night, Kitten'--possibly falling asleep as well.

✑ The two of you start the day a bit late, to say the least. You had suggested the idea of hiring a knocker-up so the two of you could get to work on time. The idea didn't go well, however, since the first time it was tried, Grell threatened the guy that she would kill him right there right now on the spot.

✑ Therefore, the day starts late with you debating if you should let your Grell sleep in, or wake her up so William won't yell at the two of you again. After choosing the second option, you shake telling her to wake up- not to hard or not too loud, because Grell would whine and pout all day; enough to give William a permanent migraine.

"Five more minutes, darling! I need my beauty sleep!"

✑ Eventually, the reaper finally gets up with much reluctance. Due to the little time you both have only being able to get dressed and rush out the door, that means helping Grell with her makeup whether it be just be simple or extravagant. Either way, William always seems to burst in to see you and Grell in the middle of the latest gossip while you put on her lashes.

✑ Did he think about the consequences once he paired you with the red-haired reaper? Nope. It never had once crossed his mind that he would create such a disastrous pair, let alone couple. Since your first day working with Sutcliff, William didn't bother to notice the little looks you two gave each other when he passed by you two, the inside jokes and small giggles-- so of course he would be taken back when he saw the two of you exchange a small kiss before heading off to reap more souls.

✑ William did actually once try to pair you with someone else, but he could not deal with Grell's constant whining. In short, that idea lasted two days before pairing you with the reaper once again.

✑ In terms of teaching in the workplace, she never fails to give you her routes to take when reaping; give her an address and she'll give you the quickest way to get there. Makeup tips are an absolute must if you're talking about Grell here. She'll teach you the best ways to wash or style your hair depending on the color and type, the best poses for a picture, or even the best places to shop at for clothes or accessories.

✑ If the two of you have to work overtime, Grell wouldn't be one to object working dates. It consists of the two of you walking to a nice little restaurant or cafe to pick up a nice quaint dinner; not to big, not to small, but elegant enough for the fabulous Grell Sutcliff. ✑ Once the day is done, the two of you walk home together with your reaper lover 99.9% of the time telling you about an on-going rumor among the office and her thoughts about it. Grell takes time to ask you about your day and yourself; she wants to be the best lover she could, and wants you to take good care of yourself (with her help of course).

✑ Nightwear doesn't enter the picture anymore considering the two of you make a beeline for the bedroom and fall face-down on the mattress. It wouldn't be until the middle of the night she would reach her arms over to your side of the bed continuing to pull you close to her like a teddy bear, because if not the queen of the reapers wouldn't get a good night's sleep.

And nobody wants to deal with a moody Grell.

🦴𝑼𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒓☠

✑ Undertaker will always be awake before you. He won't make such a big deal of it, instead let you get your beauty sleep and admire your features. The Undertaker will not hesitate to tenderly trace over your cheek making sure that you are still there physically and not just a figment of his imagination; how on Earth did he manage to receive someone as ethereal as you?

✑ Once he notices the slight twitch of your nose and the flutter of your eyes, a grin starts creeping on his face, excited that his favorite person is going to spend the day with him once again.

"Morning, Dearie."

✑ Jokes and kisses are exchanged not too long after, and thus the day begins. A typical day consists of classical music playing in the background as the two of you attend to your clients. The atmosphere is normally quiet with an occasional ring of a bell, other than that, it's not a big deal.

✑ All that's really needed from the two of you are one another's presence. Soft side glances are often exchanged in the middle of your work; it's only momentarily but it's the acknowledgement that counts.

✑ Undertaker was the one who originally taught you to how to pamper the clients, so therefor he would know what you're doing wrong. However after spending so much time with the mortician, you'd know if you were doing something wrong.

✑ Nevertheless, the Undertaker always tries to find something wrong with your work; it's not to be a jerk or anything, the mortician just likes the feeling of his hands on top of yours."

"It's like this Dear, alright?"

✑ Of course if he feels as if it's too quiet, Undertaker will crack some jokes and any stories with previous clients. It makes this man's day to see you smile, it makes his week to see you laugh. Even if it's unintentional or purposely, it does make you feel special when you're the one who makes Undertaker laugh, giggle, or chuckle.

✑ The the sun starts to fall, that's when the work gets finished up and you two close shop for the day, you both enjoy some biscuits with a good cup of tea. The two of you joke around some more for a bit, before completely winding down for the evening.

Either way, the two of you will always have tomorrow.

Basically I was in my feels and started thinking what it would be like if you asked the kuro reapers for a hug so enjoy. This is meant to read as platonic but can also be read as romantic

👓 William T Spears 👓

- Know one thing here and now, William T Spears of the British Branch of the Grim Reaper Association™ does not do happy hugs. If you are an excited hugger and go to him looking for a hug when excited, he will stare at you with the blankest face while you do it

-Five seconds is as much as you’ll get before he’s lightly pushing you off of him with a sigh while fixing his glasses (whether you messed them up or not). He’s happy that you’re happy, sure, but he doesn’t do the whole happy hug thing.

-When you’re sad, thought, now that’s a different story

-Will’s most definitely more understanding of your want for affection if you’re sad and so he’ll coax you into his office where he can properly focus on you without other distractions and give you the hug you need

-His hugs are grounding. He’ll hold you around the shoulders, maybe rub your back a little if you’re crying, and just keep a firm grip on you. He doesn’t say much, but it’s okay, because you know that he cares just from the way he’s hugging you

-William gives me dad energy okay he’d give dad hugs that are comforting and say all that you want/need to hear without actually saying it

♥️ Grelle Sutcliff ♥️

- Contrasting to William, Grelle is a happy hugger herself. She’ll hug you or whoever she’s around when super excited and it’s adorable okay I don’t make the rules, I just write about them.

- Anyways, if you come up to her happy or excited and looking for a hug, she delivers. Is the kind to pick you up and spin for a few seconds if you’re comfy with it. Just big, giggly, happy hugs from Grelle.

- And if you’re sad, she picks up on it right away, even if you try and hide it. Will pull you into her lap and just craddle you as best she can. Head tucked into her neck, she’s whispering kind words to you, rubbing your back, the whole nine yards.

- Absolutely leans her head against yours. Forehead to forehead, her cheek or chin on top of your head, or just temple to temple, it doesn’t matter. Grelle’s head is against yours, I guarantee it

- Grelle hates seeing you sad and so she’ll do all that she can to make you smile again, including giving the best hugs in the world.

📸 Sascha 📸

- Another excited hugger. Sascha is bubbly and happy all the time and so hugs with them are frequent

- Most times, you two are just happy hugging together while others are staring like “Are they okay?” You’re fine, just happy

- Because they always seem to be bubbly, when Sascha sees that you, someone they care about, is sad, they immediately go into comfort mode. Has snacks at their desk if you want them, knows all the best quiet places to sneak off to if that’s what you want, and gives such good hugs

- Wraps their arms around you and holds your hand and gives encouraging smiles the whole time. Sascha knows it isn’t easy to be happy all the time, so when you need it, they make sure you know they’re always there for you

🚬 Ludger 🚬

- Ludger and William give me similar vibes, but also Ludger is more of a teddy bear. He acts like he hates it when you give him excited and happy hugs, but he really loves it on the inside (he’s also partners with Sascha and they do that a lot too, he’s used to it by this point)

- Will put an arm around your shoulders and just kinda let you do whatever, acting indifferent the whole time. On the inside he’s smiling, though, he thinks you’re adorable, especially if you’re shorter than him haha

- If you ask for a hug all sad, though, like I said he’s a literal teddy bear and probably is really comforting to hug. He’s warm and cuddly, no one can tell me otherwise

- Fully engulfs you as best he can in a hug and gives the same firm hugs that William does just while Will’s are kinda stiff, Ludger let’s you mold yourself to him however you want. Another one who doesn’t say much, but you can just tell by the way he puts his head against yours that he’s saying that he’ll protect and comfort you.

💀 Undertaker 💀

- Okay so while he’s still working for the RA, no hugs. He doesn’t do hugs. Head pats, sure, but no hugs. Undertaker wasn’t even half as fun when he was employed as to now that he’s a fugitive. But!! If he gave you a head pat, that’s like the ultimate thing because he doesn’t give those out to just anyone yk so cherish it

- Anyways, the Undertaker we know now loves hugs and will gladly give you as many as you want lol he’s probably touch starved. Happy hugs, sad hugs, comforting hugs, just because hugs, i want to fuck hugs , he does them all

- Gives big bear hugs, no matter the emotion. Can and will engulf you in his big robe and it’s so nice and warm. It’s like a little barrier he has to protect you from the world and the horrors he knows that are in it.

- If you’re close enough to Undertaker where he’s able to hug you, all that he wants is for you to just..stay with him always and forever. He tends to have a lot of people he cares about who just kinda die and so his hugs really show that “I’ll never let you go, please stay with me” emotion that he usually keeps hidden under the façade of happiness and laughter

- If you come to him for a hug while sad, he does all he can to make you smile. This includes, but is not limited to: soft tickles, bad jokes, good jokes, making a fool of himself, magic tricks, feeding you treats, letting you style his hair, and cuddles outside.

- I could keep going but we’d be here for years I just have so much to say about this sad little weirdo (affectionately)

🚜 Ronald Knox 🚜

- First of all, I’d like to point out that there isn’t a lawnmower emoji which is very sad. So tractors it is for Mr. Knox

- Ronald Knox does not understand the concept of happy hugging but he will gladly indulge anyways. Will he have a confused look on his face the whole time? Yes, yes he will. But will he also hug you just as tight as you hug him? Also yes. Ronnie isn’t here to disappoint, after all

- He might be flirty and has definitely done the like yawn arm over the shoulder thing, but he also knows the difference between a platonic hug and a romantic one yk so don’t think too deep into it if he hugs you around the waist, it’s more instinct than anything. Ron’s heard some of the people he’s pursued say that it feels better to them and so (especially if you guys are close) that’s his go to way of hugging

- Hand on the small of your back, other on your head, happy smiles and happier words if you’re sad. He’s awkward when it comes to comfort sometimes, but he tries and that’s what matters. Probably says some stupid shit to try and make you laugh (is successful 50% of the time)

🥀 Alan Humphries 🥀

- Sad man. He needs a hug (preferably from Eric)

- Anyways he also doesn’t understand the happy hug and probably reacts just like our ol’ pal William T Spears. Alan just stiffens up and doesn’t really know how to react. Probably just stares at you with wide eyes and when you pull away asks what the hell just happened

- Doesn’t mind it per say, just is confused. This doesn’t happen to him very often (or at all really) so he just doesn’t really know how to react yk?

- When you’re sad, though, he’s still just as awkward don’t expect much from this guy lol

- Listen, Alan cares alright, he really does, but he just...doesn’t know what to do really. He’ll sit next to you though!! Maybe hold your hand a little or put a hand on your knee just so you know he’s there

- That’s really all, though, he’s got his own shit to deal with on the side yk the whole dying thing really takes a lot out of him

❄ Eric Slingby ❄

- Accepts happy hugs but will only put an arm around you. Probably rests his arm on your head if you’re shorter than him and messes up your hair regardless of your height in comparison to him

- He makes fun of you affectionately for it much like an uncle would. Eric’s another teddy bear and so is just nice to hug. Probably has a good amount of muscle on him and is another natural space heater and he’s taller than William so like he’s definitely really nice to hug

- He gives those like “I’m proud of you” type hugs when you’re sad because while words aren’t his forte, his actions speak loud and clear. His hugs are shorter than the others, but he means it and he’ll pat your head and wipe your tears and tell you that whatever it is that’s bothering you will pass and everything will be okay and if it isn’t then he’ll reap them

- If you still want to be around him after his little encouraging hug then he’ll let you sit next to him and he’ll have him hand or arm on your shoulder so his presence is at least there

🧪 Othello 🧪

- My favorite nerd I love this guy so much

- But that does not mean that he is a huggy guy okay actually it’s quite the opposite. He just tends to have some sort of sciencey something that spilled on him or is on his person and Othello doesn’t want you getting hurt yk?

- He just strikes me as more of a high five or fist bump kind of guy when you’re happy or excited. Othello is so down for a good high five way more than he is a hug

- When you’re sad, he’s similar to Alan. Sits next to you and will put a hand on your knee and all that but he isn’t about that hugging life. Othello is honestly really good at being a distraction to like sad thoughts

- That’s how he helps most is just by telling you about random shit he heard around the workplace. It does help and when you’re feeling better he’ll give you a pat on the shoulder and squeeze your hand with a smile
