The King of Fighters 2000 (NEOGEO MVS)

When I bought the NEOGEO MVS cart of KOF 2000 off eBay four or so years ago it came with this nifty soft clamshell case. Dunno if the case is original or what.

I was originally kinda sad about not inviting and completely dismissing Cove while playing the Soirée moment again but DAMN was it worth it just to meet Baxter at the beginning of step 3 again and watch him go “…wait a goddamn minute 👉”

I'm hoping the revised examples in the Magnitude table strike the right balance between eccentricity and actually giving the reader a clear idea of what kinds of sizes we're talking about.

(To anticipate the obvious question, I'm specifically avoiding the use of any and all dogs in this revision because it turns out that people have very particular ideas about how big a dog should be!)

1/ Find someone over 18 ready and WILLING to play with you, and play cards WITHIN LIMITS OF SAID PARTNER.

OK, aside of that, open below if you want more details:

a/ Different types of cards mean different uses. At home vs Outdoors or Instant vs Days for example won’t be played at the same time. Adapt accordingly.

b/ First challenge of the card stands for itself and the fun it creates. Bonus part, though, could be exchanged against a reward of some sort, for you to decide (On our side, she earns points to spend on a wish list).

c/ If a card isn’t exactly what you’d like, then just change it to match what would add the most fun to your encounter.

d/ If you want to play a card but don’t have enough knowledge to do it safely, start by practicing with knowledgeable people on a safe environment first.
