HELLOOO im so sorry i didn’t upload last week T-T i was packing for a trip, i just got back from the trip hehee.. anyway this will include all of the men fronm fontaine, so please enjoyyyy!

★~Wriothesley: cuddling with wriothesley is like cuddling your personal teddy bear! he is too a body heater. you could say he likes being the big spoon more. but on a gloomy day for him, he prefers to be the small spoon. you both ALWAYS cuddle before sleep. even of you’re fast asleep first, he’ll cuddle you in your sleep. or when it’s a cold rainy day, you’ll cuddle on the couch with blanket cpvering the both of you and halfway finished hot cocoa on the table infront. you often put your head on his chest or shoulder when you’re cuddling and he loves it. he could be a go-to pillow actually. he always does this habit of inhaling your scent and caressing your hair while whispering sweet praises. hug him as much as you want, he pays no mind! he’s such a sweetheart honestly. he wants to keep you safe during the night.

★~Neuvillete: YOUR LOVELY OTTERRRR! he’ll caress your head and put his arms around your waist when you’re sleeping, just like a mother otter! he’s a protective one, you won’t be turning and tossing around in your sleep as he’s locked you in his arms. before sleep, he would cover your face in kisses while you giggle from its tickling sensation. he would tell you one of his story too so you’ll get bored a sleepy (he knows what he’s doing). if you wake up at night from a nightmare, he’ll be sure to make you safe. you’ll be tucked under the blanket, face burried in his chest and hand holding his. on a rare night, he would vent while you be the big spoon. you’ll try to calm his crying as it’s raining outside. he’ll curl while you caress his head, whispering comforting and reassuring words to him.

★~Lyney: WELL… i’d say he’s soft but maybe some other time he’s like… IT’S LIKE HE’S SQUISHING YOU. he’ll wrap his arm around you and squeeze you tight like you’re a baby kitten or something. he’ll pinch your cheek before kissing it then continue hugging you TIGHTLY. you did tell him ‘not too tight’ but well- i guess sometimes he forgot. you guys take turn to be the small and big spoon. if he’s the small spoon, he like to sleep on ur chest or tummy. he likes to move when he’s asleep. when you both wake up, you would find your legs tangled upon eachother and his or your arms on eachother face. if you’re sick, he would REALLYYY want to cuddle you, but lynette told him it’s best if not (booooo). even so, he read you a story so you’ll go to sleep while imagining the story and forgetting the sickness.

★~Freminet: HE LOVEEEES CUDDLES! he would be a bit shy to ask for cuddles but as time pass, he would warm up more and ask you for cuddle everynight and after you wake up. he’s such a sweetheart that he couldn’t pass the day without a cuddle from you! he loves being the small spoon. but you both often just cuddle like normal. he always put his arms around your waist and the other caressing your cheek. he’ll hum a lullaby for you and you’ll hum it together with him too. he loves it when you caress his head, it makes him feel sleepy. in the morning, after you both wake up and still feeling lazy, he would wrap his arms around your waist and kiss you a goodmorning while going back to cuddling you just like last night. he loves it when you caress his head. perhaps his penguin buddy could join in too!

“Wait, Y/N—” He stops you in your tracks. He needs a rundown. He needs a repeat on why you're leaving him. “Why— why are you—”

“Why?” You stop yourself from crying out loud, “Because you're killing yourself over me.”

He stops in his tracks. Him? Killing himself over you? What are you saying? He's fine, he's perfectly fine, as long as he's with you!

“Wh– What makes you say that? Please, love, don't go away. Don't leave, tell me what's wrong, I can make it right!”

“You were making your way back up in life before we started dating.” You begin. Your voice became soft and sorrowful, holding in layers of guilt for this poor, poor man before you. “You were making money for yourself, and you were finally helping yourself become financially stable.”

“So it's the money?” He lets out an exasperated laugh, as if he were relieved at the circumstance. He smiles with slight relief in his eyes, and he reassures you, “Don't worry! I'll find more jobs, then I'll earn enough to buy you more things. Hell, the money you gave me when... when you told me you were leaving, I– I can use it!”

His smile stays for a bit, but it fades when he watches your expression sadden.

“It wasn't about getting me gifts. You need the money for yourself, not me. I'm fine with everything I have. I gave you the money because you need it to take care of yourself again.”

You can't bear to look at his confused face. He's such a sweetheart, and it hurts like hell to leave him, but it's for the best if it means he only has to support himself, and not two people.

“But... If you just need me to be financially stable, that's fine. I can do that, then afterward, I can buy—”

“Honey, that's not it. You need the money for yourself and yourself only, don't count material things for me.”

“But— I just... I don't want you to leave. We can work this out. We can work it out together.”

You pause, hesitating. The door stands tall behind you. You don't want to leave him; he's your darling, but guilt overrides your heart, and you take your stance.

“I wanted to work it out with you, so I've tried. We've discussed this so many times, remember? But when you did become financially stable again, you wasted it all away for me on Valentine's Day. I loved that gift— I love you, I love you so much, but I can't keep watching you destroy yourself.”

He finally feels the tear rolling, and yours begin to pour.

“And since you only begin to listen when I'm on the verge of leaving, I feel like it would help you more than it would hurt if I left.”

“But I can't do this without you!”

He runs up to you, trying to hug you, but you're out the door, and he falls to the ground, sobbing on his knees and watching you leave. It's terrible, it's horrible, but he can't bring himself to stand up and chase you. To his surprise, you kneel by him and hold his cheek.

“I don't want you to do this alone. But you have to, if it means you'll be able to live again.”

And there's a pause between you two. It's raining, drizzling raindrops coat your hair and lather across your clothes, as it does with his. The air is thick; bridges are burning. This was not something he could ever recover from, but you have a whole future ahead of you, away from him. Was he holding you back the whole time? Did any of this interfere with your work? With your mental stability?

Please, take him back. Keep him with you.

“I left a great sum of money with you.” You pull yourself together and stand. Your sudden stability towers over his— considering as he lacks it. “If you section it correctly, you'll have enough to pay the bills for almost two years, and you'll have money left over for about three months to buy yourself luxurious food and some nice clothes. If you don't look for luxury, that will last you a while, more than enough to look for a whole new job.”

“I don't care.” He finally manages to cry out, and he holds your waist in a final, desperate attempt to keep you with him. “I don't care. I– I don't want money,

I just want you.”

But he can't keep you. You glance at your driver and signal for her to wait. You lift your ex-boyfriend back up and take him back into the house, seating him on the couch. You take one final look around the shabby living room, and you sigh.

“I'd tell you to come back when you can handle everything better, but by then, I'm sure you'll have met someone new.”

“But what if I don't?”

“Then feel free to come back when you're comfortable. I'm glad you're so kind and loving, but I simply just couldn't stand watching you waste your future away for me.”

You stand up and kiss him one last time. He, like usual, doesn't process it in time to kiss you back, and before he could reciprocate, you bow and wave a goodbye, and you're out the door.

You grab the doorknob and— before you close the door, you turn around and mutter the quietest, soon meaningless ‘I love you,’ and you gently close the door,

and that was the end of it all.

You said that he should build a new future for himself, but with his tearful eyes glaring hot, burning laser beams at the door, it's very safe to say that this future is starting off terribly far from a good one.

He needs a restart; he's realized it before, but he never wanted to start over like this—

He never wanted to see a future without you in it. But you're gone. All that's left are the remaining photos you haven't taken, as well as the money you've left for him.

He hears the car drive off into the distant future.

He hears the car skid into your new future.

He knows why you left him now, but he doesn't know why you needed to.

If only he could get you to repeat it one last time. But there are no repeats.

All you've really left him with is a restart.

⌜ author's notes ⌟ : quick write. literally when i'm in the middle of class and gets random brainrots - nothing much haha ( not me not paying attention in geography .. /jk i never do i hate geography this is proof that you cannot tryst me with directions )

⌜ synopsis ⌟ : what would some nights with them be like?

.. stargazing.

he and you would be sitting there together on the field, grass tickling both of you, whilst staring up at the stars that were casting an entrancing spell to you. ‘pretty’, you whispered, unaware of the person sitting beside you, your lover, fondly staring at you instead of them. ‘very’, he says, smiling a bit as he saw your eyes shine underneath the stars. ‘the most beautiful i have ever been able to lay my eyes on.’ you and him spent the rest of the evening together, feeling content with the comforting silence enveloping the both of you.

.. just sitting on the couch, relaxing.

you and him would be snuggled together on the couch, a fluffy blanket wrapped around the two of you with the fan blowing cool air from ahead, a feeling of bliss making its way into your emotions. you'd have your hand carding through his hair, an arm around his back, and he'd be clinging onto you as if you were his only thing keeping him from death, which is probably both metaphorically and literally true. he'd be basking in both the attention and affection from you, never wanting to let go of you, of that moment in his life, and falling even harder for you, if that was even possible at this point.

you would ask him what he'd want to do; he'd say that he'd want to go for a walk with you, and only you, if that was fine with your pretty self, of course. and as always, with you always falling for his charm and not being able to say 'no', you agreed to it. with that said, he would take you to someplace secluded, with only the two of you there together. he and you would walk around, examining the simple beauties of nature that you normally wouldn't notice throughout the bustling day; he, having already seen it, said that he was infact admiring something. you shrugged it off, but you weren't aware that he was watching you with a fond smile on his face and a soft pink tint on his cheeks, having never gotten enough of you.

LYNEY only knows of simple hymns, that was used by his sister to make him sleep when he was young. As he brushed his fingers onto your skin, seeing you lose yourself off to dreamland... it was more than enough to bring a smile on his face. You saw behind the tricks and discovered the man that wants to please everyone, and with a simple goodnight, you lay in his lap hoping to see his face when you wake.

It was no secret that KAVEH had no sleep, maybe it was the works that made him busy but it was mostly the thoughts. So as he lulls you to sleep in the middle of the night, seeing your peaceful stance, so defenseless, yet something he wanted to defend with his life. Melodies filled the room that made you see the sweetest of dreams but right at the brink of your sleep, the music stopped. He was... asleep, hand on your hair, smiling soundly.

You giggled as CYNO's voice cracked while singing a lullaby. It was rare for him to make you laugh, enough to make him laugh as well. And as the many attempts of him to hum you a decent tune he looked at you again to see you fast asleep. Oh, I guess all of his efforts were in vain. As he kissed your temple goodnight, it was time for his favorite activity. Admiring you all night.

DILUC was scarcely home, but when he was it was always special, and even more so at night. His voice was raspy, but gentle all the same. It was almost like you didn't wanna sleep and just listen to him all night long. And so you lay there faking your rest, but he realized your plan and stopped. With a whine, you demanded him to start all over and giving in he sang another song.

FREMINET was very conscious with everything he does as he awkwardly looked at you, eyes glinting and dreaming of hearing a melody. And so he copied his mother and tried to pat your head, the more words he sang, the more comfortable he got. And when he finished it he saw you were already asleep. Did he do a good job? He hoped so, maybe one day he can sing you another one. Maybe. After all, he wished you knew him as well as the waters do.

NEUVILLETTE knew a lot of songs, maybe hiring an orchestra or overhearing a hymn from the guards. The night skies were so clear that day when he first sang his love to you, his emotions were deeper than his voice. Now he understood all those tragic plays, and romantic sacrifices. And as you lay there still sleeping he continues, hoping that his tune of joy and fondness for you reached the bottom of the abyss and to skies in Celestia.

freminet is a shy guy.

you’ve known him ever since you arrived in fontaine. lyney introduced him to you, and to be honest, the two of you hit it off almost immediately. freminet finds your presence around him comforting, something that’s rare when it comes to freminet and the people he talks to.

he’s been a really good friend to you, always looking out for you — especially when you go out diving together.

today, freminet asked you to hang out together (another diving adventure with him). he asked for your help to gather some materials lyney asked him to.

“fremi!” you called out, waving at him as you walked closer. he had almost dropped the basket he was holding. “did i scare you that bad?”

freminet flushed. “n-no i just didn’t expect you to be early…” he fiddled around with his thumb, tightening his grip around the basket. “um- are you ready?”

“yeah! i’ve been looking forward to this diving adventure since yesterday!” you said excitedly. “what materials did lyney want?”

“it’s just some tidalga…” freminet replied quietly. “um, i’m not entirely sure what he’s using it for but he asked me to just gather ten…”

you hummed. “okay! let’s go then.”

as always, freminet never fails to impress you with his amazing diving skills. not only was he a fast swimmer, but he knew where each material was without having to rely on his map (you still had to check your map every now and then even if you had been in fontaine for a month now).

freminet tapped your shoulder, catching your attention. “hm? what is it?”

“i got all ten,” freminet said, showing you his basket. “wanna go back up the surface?”

“sure! i have something i wanna give you once we’re back up.” you replied, and freminet tilted his head in confusion, yet he didn't say anything. the two of you returned to the surface, sitting down on the warm grass to dry off. you grabbed the rainbow rose you were hiding in your pockets and handed it over to freminet.

“here, it’s for you.”

freminet felt his face slowly heating up as he hesitantly accepted the rose from your hand. “wh-what’s this for?”

“you know what rainbow roses mean, right?” you asked, giving freminet a big smile. he nodded, saying he learned it from lyney. “well, it’s obvious what i’m trying to say, right?”

“you-” freminet paused, magically making his cute little helmet appear, hiding his face from you (clearly embarrassed).

“hey come on! don’t hide!” you let out a giggle, tapping his helmet. “i’m serious, i really wanna see your face.”

freminet let out a sigh, giving in to your pleas. his helmet disappeared, but he still wasn't facing you. “are you serious about liking me like that?” he asked in a quiet voice.

“mhm, why would i be lying to you?” you replied. “wanna know when i fell in love with you? it was when you first said-”

“n-no! don’t say anything else i might actually burst!” he quickly cut you off, placing a hand over your mouth. though he was quick to remove it.

“you get flustered really easily…how cute,” you said. your words caused freminet to choke on his own saliva, before quickly regaining his composure by clearing his throat.

“haha…thanks…i think. was that a compliment? why are you laughing.” freminet frowned lightly, shoving you and making you lay down on the grass, his actions had caused you to clutch onto your stomach as you laughed. “y/n, i’m serious, stop laughing.”

“i’m sorry you’re just too cute!” you said in between laughs. freminet groaned, covering his face with his hands.

So today's freminet birthday enrnfjfjr since his release I always look at Pers (the little penguin) and I can't stop thinking about furbys jdjfjt

Since freminet joined your team, you become close with freminet to the point where he's not feeling uncomfortable or like he's bothering you.

Sometimes, he caught you looking at Pers. Of course, he was a little shy at first, but with time, he felt how you actually weren't making fun of him or Pers, so one day reading his history and listening to his voice-lines you smiled at him, you get up to search for something.

He was a little confused about why you left, but when you came back, you had something in your hands -" You know, since you joined the team, I understand you on how you are close to Pers.. so I wanted to show you my baby!"- baby?! He was actually thinking you had a baby, but when you showed him a little ball of fur with ears and a tail, he was surprised.

-"you know.. Pers reminds me of my furbys.. the way you are close to him, how you fixed him, how important it is to you.. I feel the same with my babies.." - he was surprised by how you see yourself on him and Pers, actually he was happy! Usually, people think he was weird for having Pers.. but see how you actually understand him and feel comfortable with showing him your little friend.. he felt really blessed.. and how it's true on how the others said about you.. he truly felt blessed.. for having this opportunity..

You see how he's usually serious face changes to a happy one. You were taking by surprise thinking it was a glitch, but you noticed how he was smiling until you logged off from the game..

Lyneys bright lavender eyes were trained on you, or more rather the pocky stick that hung slightly out of your mouth, dangling in front of him and tempting him to take a bite. Surely you wouldn't mind if it was just one little taste...he thought, as he leaned in closer to you, his movement making you turn towards him in curiosity. Your faces suddenly just inches away from eachother, causing a blush to spread across your face while he smiled mischievously and started to nibble away at the other end of your pocky stick.

Getting closer and closer to you with each stolen bite, your heart absolutely racing as he got to the part that was at the cusp of your mouth. You could feel his lips against yours for just a split second, his eyes shining with victory as he pulled away...leaving you absolutely flustered.

𑁍༄Navia:

When Navia had originally offered to buy you a pack of pocky, you didn't have any ulterior motives, you were just kinda hungry...and yet the second the box of delicious chocolate covered sticks made its way into your hand...you couldn't help but think of sharing them in the most romantic way possible. "Navia, want to share my pocky with me? Theres this challenge I've always wanted to try and since we are partners I want to try it with you first." You said casually, your heart skipping a beat as her golden yellow eyes met yours and that oh so sweet smile flashed into view.

"Of course! What's the challenge?" Her voice was sugary sweet like honey and the thought of possibly getting a kiss from someone so kind made your face blush, "We both start at one end of the pocky, taking bits till one of us reaches the middle first or pulls away." Her face blushed slightly as you spoke, her cheeks a soft pink as she nodded waiting patiently for you to offer the pocky and begin.

"Chocolate or stick?" You asked nervously, holding the pocky up to her while your heart started to beat harder in your chest. "Hmmm chocolate!" She gently took the pocky from you, putting the chocolate side in her mouth and leaning in so you could reach the other end, the two of you taking small bites till the tips of your noses were touching. Your faces each flashing red as you closed the gap, the sweet taste of chocolate on your lips as the two of you pulled away.

𑁍༄Freminet:

(I use the nickname Fremmy here...its cute okay!)

"Hi Fremmy! Whatcha working on?" You asked with a smile, leaning in slightly to see some type of mechanical machine, Freminets hands busy putting the pieces together like a puzzle only he could understand. "Oh hello...it's a prop for Lyney and Lynettes magic show, I... can't tell you exactly what for though. I'm...sworn to secrecy." He pulled away from his work table, a light blush on his face as he let you exam his newest creation...and despite looking at it for a couple minutes...you had absolutely no idea what it was.

"Well it looks cool whatever it is..., anyways! Remember how you said you'd never had pocky before? Well I got some and I was thinking we could do that challenge I told you about." You held up the box of sweets for him, watching as his light blush deepened to a dark red colour and he looked away shyly, "I-i...um. O-okay." You giggled as you opened the packaging, holding the pocky for him to take, chocolate side pointed in his direction.

"Remember the rules?" He nodded as he put the candy in his mouth, letting you have the other side while his heart pounded in his chest...but before you could even take a second bite..he pulled away out of nervousness, apologizing profusely and congratulating you on your easy win. In the end you sat down beside him on a nearby couch, sharing the sticks between the two of you the normal way while he talked about future inventions.

𑁍༄Lynette:

"You want to...try the pocky challenge with me?" Lynettes monotone voice had the slightest hint of curiousity, her violet eyes on the box of treats you'd gotten only moments earlier and her face ever so lightly pink, she had never tried the challenge before and the idea of sharing the new experience with you...was like a magic wish come true. "Mhm! Do you want the coated side or the stick?" You asked holding the pocky out for her to examine, ultimately she choose the breadstick side watching you intently as you put the chocolate end in your mouth.

Before you could properly take a bite she was at the other end, munching away rhythmically at a incredibly fast pace, till before you knew it her face was right up against yours, your eyes meeting hers your cheeks turned bright red. Her soft lips grazed yours as she took the final bite, pulling away with a small satisfied smile. "Seems I won...I enjoy this game. Shall we try again?"

𑁍༄Neuvillette:

Neuvillette was silent, his cheeks ever so lightly pink as you explained the rules of the pocky challenge, the hidden truth of it clear as day. He knew that if he agreed to said challenge, he could end up receiving a kiss from you and the thought of such a beautiful thing made his heart skip a beat, but...would he be able to stop himself at just one? Perhaps it would be better to decline...and ask for a kiss instead, then his motives would be clear at least...

"Neuvillette?" You smiled, patiently waiting for his response, unaware of the slight dilemma he was having with himself. "Apologies, I was lost in thought...I suppose a challenge would be alright, as long as everything is legal." His eyes met yours as you giggled happily, handing him the chocolaty dessert and watching in excitement as he put the coated end in his mouth, his blush darkening with each moment.

You took the breadstick part in your mouth, nibbling away at it slowly and savouring it's yummy flavour on your tongue as your heart rate increased, your face growing warmer as you got closer and closer to him. With only the smallest bit of pocky left between the two of you, you paused waiting to see what he'd do next and humming in delight as he took the last bite, closing the gap. Your lips touched for just a moment and just as he had expected, it wasn't enough...his hands holding your face as he kissed you again...preferring you over the candy.

𑁍༄Clorinde:

Clorinde sighed quietly, unsure wether to agree to share your snack with you...and possibly end up in a situation that would leave her blushed and quite possibly falling even harder for you or to disagree and play it safe, but always wonder if she should have said yes. Eventually her violet eyes met yours, her brows turned down slight as if she was annoyed, "I agree to your challenge, but I do hope you know...I'll show no mercy. As a champion duelist I take no challenge lightly."

"Yay! Do you want the chocolate end of the pocky or the breadstick part? I'm fine with either." You held up your snack for her, watching curiously as she examined it carefully, as if it could possibly be poisoned...even though you'd already eaten some of them. "I'll take the part without chocolate, thank you." You nodded in response, cheerfully putting the chocolate side in your mouth and wiggling the stick in front of her while she raised a eyebrow at you.

She leaned in, taking small bites of the pocky and finding it rather difficult to concentrate on the treat itself as she became acutely aware of how close your face was to hers. The gap growing smaller as you both ate away at the yummy treat, until your noses were touching and she took the last bite, pulling away so quickly that you were still left in the same stance in shock. "I win." She said quietly, her face blushed red and her lips touched with a bit of melted chocolate,...

Kazuha :

In all honesty, you probably don't even have to tell him that you're on it. He'll just know. He can easily detect when your mood shifts, and he has a very keen sense of hearing and smell, so by your first day or even first hour, he's already caught on.

Another plus for him since he'll definitely subconsciously remember a cycle you (may) have, any time it's off by a significant amount of time, he'll comment about it / ask about it.

He'll also plan special little things like hangouts / dates a little away from your cycle, or towards the end of your cycle to ensure you'll always have a good time when spending these special moments with him.

Kazuha will always, always be up to date with your general needs after the first time he's seen you during your menstrual cycle. Any needs of yours that are more specific, he'll try and ask about and do his absolute best to fulfill. Like, cravings? He'll be out to get the ingredients, and he'll definitely be asking about how you want it specifically made.

He's very understanding whenever it comes to cramps, any excess pains, or when any mood swings kick in. Though it doesn't really make him any different from how he is on any other occasion, Kazuha's simply a tad more attentive to your needs. So, no matter what, he'll always be a gentle sweetheart.

Xiao's concerned— heavily concerned. Are you hurt? Injured? Will you be alright? When you explain it to him, he sort of gets the general gist, but what's he supposed to do now??

A day later, he showed up at Mt. Aocang and asked Cloud Retainer about what a menstrual cycle was. He felt his dignity deflate like a balloon as he heard Cloud Retainer simply laugh at his confusion while explaining what a menstrual cycle was.

Xiao then appeared at the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor to speak with Zhongli, and they spoke over tea about this. Much to his dismay, Zhongli also let out a good chuckle and then explained everything Xiao needed to know about it.

Now, the adeptus shows up to your abode and awkwardly tries helping you out with whatever he can, being more gentle and careful with his bluntness, constantly checking in with you to see if you're alright, and also directing you to your bed whenever he sees you curling up from a cramp.

After the first two-to-three months, he'll understand more about menstruation, and he'll definitely have it memorized. Xiao will always do his best to be there for you, and he definitely does not fail at being there beside you, be it on your bed with you, on a couch, or simply anywhere outdoors you may be. He probably won't say much, but should you ask for anything, he'll be on it.

Oh, wait, you're on your period?

Venti taps his chin for a minute before remembering exactly what a "period" is. Living for so long, both as a wind spirit and as an Archon, he's seen various girls and other women alike all go through a certain monthly cycle. During his performances, he's seen some clench their stomachs in pain before excusing themselves.

And there it is, the way he acts around you flips like a switch, the very moment you need comforting and care, he's gone from the usual playful and outgoing Venti to the caring and the ‘I'm here for you’ Venti.

He sort of memorized your menstrual cycle? Not really, though. Whenever he catches on, he catches on and simply goes with it, always being there by your side to show you either fun or care, or usually both.

Still, you'll probably have to ask him for a bit of space if you need it, but hopefully it doesn't bother you too much, as he'll always respect your space and give it to you. But he will tackle you with love and affection after your period's over.

“Ah, dear windbloom, has the cycle caught up to you again? Here, sit or lay next to me— whatever makes you feel comfortable. Tell me anything you want, or if you’re not up for talk, I'll play you a song! Just know that, no matter what, I'll be here for you.”

Freminet :

Please, for the sake of his sanity and worries, explain to him thoroughly how to help you on your period.

He knows what a period is— he has a sister, and his 'father' has gone through it countless times. Freminet is probably scared of how you'll be during your periods, considering how his ‘father’ probably had a bit of a temper issue during her cycles.

But, once you explain yours to him, he'll cool down just a little bit. Rest assured, you won't berate or scold him during your cycles (Right?), so he doesn't have to be worried or scared.

Still, no matter, he'll always remain a bit timid and highly unsure of what to do. He'll do his best to console you when needed, and if you're open about your wants and needs, he'll do his absolute best to help you with it, even if it does involve a tiny little bit of social interaction.

But if you aren't so open, and if he's always left with the thought of "what is it do you need?" clinging onto him, he may come up to Lynette and ask her about it. This causes Lyney and Lynette to visit you a little more frequently, Lyney there to liven up the room or to play around a bit, Lynette there to help Freminet.

He actually does catch onto your cycle, but if it's inconsistent, he gets worried and confused, and he constantly finds himself wanting to know if you're okay (without trying to be all over you 24/7). Actually, Freminet would be worried like that the whole time you're on your period, but assure him, and he'll be good with that.. for a little bit.

“O‐ Oh! You're on, uh, that again... right? Uhm.. Do you, y'know, uh, need anything? Need me to do anything? ...At all? Just.. just tell me, alright?”

That was the last thing you had said before turning away.

But what you dreaded was how he didn't run after you. How he didn't reply. How he just... watched you disappear into the sunset... probably-

Never to return.

What about the banquet that night, where you’d entered a party full of princesses and princes, beautiful chandeliors, and tiles that decorated the floor in a flurry of gold?

It seemed like heaven.

Only… if this was “heaven,” then it would be your “hell” too.

Lyney had excused himself to the restroom, and you were strolling around the party, taking note of the different antiques and flower vases.

Some had diamonds patterns, some had animals, and some had wings. Looking past a flower vase, you saw a person in a top hat kissing someone else...

Wait, kissing?

"...Lyney?"

Darkness would engulf the room, followed by screams behind you as you raced out of the very place you'd call "heaven." Then, the sounds of that magician’s footsteps would chase after you, pleading for a chance to talk, anything.

Your world had shattered, and Lyney was desperately trying to pick up the pieces. But, the broken glass would only cut his skin, everytime he tried.

Minor cuts, but permanent scars.

But alas, when Lyney looked up at where you previously stood, all he saw was dust. Dust.

It's time to go home.

All she saw was you-

You, who drunk tea with her everyday. You, who sat with her in silence at dawn. You, who helped her with her makeup before a performance.

She should've never entered these ruins with you, should've ignored them when there were signs of Primordial Water inside.

And yet, you'd urged her on... all for what? To finish a task the traveler had asked her to? To show her the gift you'd promised?

What gift would there be if you're... not even alive? What mora would be worth this? What future would you have together? "It's okay." She had reassured her worried brother, "It's just for a little while."

If only she knew this would happen...

And here you are, falling into the monstrous abyss that which is the Primordial Sea.

You had accepted your fate. You didn't fight back against the waves, call out her name, or reach for her hand.

"Farewell, Lynette."

Your teary eyes met her gaze one last time.

When Lyney had arrived at the scene, he desperately tried to pull her away from the water. But she wouldn't budge, just staring at the darkness pooling under her.

"I'm... f-fine, Lyney."

"But, it's dangerous here... and where's Y/N?"

She didn't reply.

"No! I won't have it!" Freminet flinched at the tone of your voice.

"I thought you were..." You sighed, "-nice. Not someone who's part of a scandalous organization."

He didn't respond.

All you saw was his figure leaving the house, footsteps clinking away.

You stared at the spot where he previously stood, as if trying to break the floor apart with your intense gaze. But alas, you knew that would not help.

That day during the trial...

"Tell me, aren't you and your siblings from the House of the Hearth?" Focalors' voice echoed through the stadium.

You'd expected Freminet to object, to protest against her statement, or just... something. But alas, he never spoke up.

Never.

"Freminet?"

And now, as well as detaching yourself from your beloved, you'd detached yourself from your home. Your one and only... true home.

Perhaps it's time to move on.
